Prompt: "If someone gets nosy…you know…shoot 'em."

"Shoot 'em?"

"Politely."

"Think of it as a bonding exercise."

Prudence "Pru" Beck rolled her eyes as she continued organizing the files that were cluttering the desk in Nate's apartment. At the moment, she was (attempting to) ignore Tara Cole, their temporary grifter, as she stood in front of the desk. The grifter was trying to convince the team manager (a title that Nate still refused to call her by) that she needed to come out to a club with her. Though, she was currently failing at doing so.

"Think of what as a bonding exercise?"

Sighing, Pru looked at the (now) two women in front of the desk. Parker had a slighely confused look on her face while Tara (for some reason) looked rather triumphant. Crossing her arms, Pru raised her eyebrow. "Tara was just trying to get me to go to a club or a bar with her. Which is not a bonding exercise." (This was said in Tara's direction, and she began to frown). "And we are just going to leave it be because I am not going out."

"What if I go with you guys?"

Pru sighed again. "Parker, I don't want to go out. I would rather spend my night inside where no one can get handsy or try to stick their nose into my business. It just doesn't sound like a good time to me."

Parker looked thoughtful for a second before perking up again. An action which caused Pru to frown. "I have an idea!"

"Oh, no."

"Oh, stop it, Pru. What's your idea, Parker?"
"If someone gets handsy or nosy, we can, you know, shoot them!"
Pru's eyes widened slightly before she realized what Parker was talking about and had to school her features very quickly. Tara, on the other hand, was looking at Parker with a degree of concern. "Shoot them, Parker?"
Parker whipped her taser out and grinned a bit maniacally. "Yes, politely."

Pru let out a bark of laughter as Tara hung her head. After a moment, Tara caught Pru's eye and grinned slightly. "Alright, how about the three of us go and find a coffee shop or something where we can just sit and talk? I really just need some female companionship right now. You know, since I spent the night surrounded by Irish mobsters, cops, and the like."

Parker and Pru shared a look before the manager sighed as she finally put down the files that she still had in her hands. "That sounds like a plan to me. In fact, I know of the perfect place. And you want to know the best part?"

"What?"

"The owner always gives me a discount. Come on. Let's go."
