Guess what's back...back again ...
"Sacred Gear?" Issei asked Kuroka.
"Yup. A special gift apparently from the heavens themselves. An artifact created by God from The Bible. A way for humans to create miracles on Earth. Some say that a lot of historic people written in history books claimed to have Sacred Gears, nya." Kuroka explained. "There are multiple different forms. Some that can heal others, some that can raise one's intelligence, even perform things that most people will call an Act of God. And then there's you…" she said as she pointed at his chest, causing Issei to blush a bit.
"M-Me…?" he asked.
"You possessed a special type of Sacred Gear. Some that many would consider as a blessing… and a curse. A Longinus."
"Lon…ginus?" At that point, the sound of a door opening and closing echoed through the room.
"Issei! We're Home!" A male voice yelled out.
"Sorry we're home late, did Kuroka arrive?" A female voice followed.
"We're in the living room, Mr. and Mrs. Hyoudou!" Kuroka yelled out. She would get up from her spot off the couch, straightening out her uniform. "Seems like my work here is done, you have a good night now." Issei would look at her before jumping sitting up straight, trying to reach out towards her. "He–wait! I-I… you still haven't told me what you are! And–"
"In due time, you'll know everything you need to know," Kuroka simply said. "But for now, I'll leave you with this." She would activate a magic circle beneath her feet before looking back. "Since the Longinus you've possessed has awakened, the one that it's calls the "White One" will be looking for you. In the meantime, do train your body. Sacred Gears are things powered by ones desire, and ones desire can be only as strong as the body that wields it. Take some time to think about it, nya," she said as she disappeared in a flash of light. By then, both of Issei's parents would walk in carrying a couple of pizza boxes to see Issei sitting on the couch.
"Ah, guess she just left.." Gorou said as placed the boxes on the coffee table.
It was dark in one of the rooms inside the Fallen Angel Territory. The only thing lighting up the room was two light bulbs shining down on Raynare along with the rest of her team and their leader Azazel. He was sitting across from them along with Shemazai standing next to him.
"What were your final updates from watching the Red Dragon Emperor?" Shemazai asked them. Kalawaner would take a step forward and begin her debriefing.
"After sensing the Longinus awakening, we have been surviving Issei Hyoudou along with his family. Later on, he developed the Dragon Flu, leaving him bedridden for a couple of weeks before his parents, Gorou and Miki Hyoudou, decided to summon a devil from the Gremory Family. After curing him from it, the only thing that happened afterwards is just them summoning the same devil for babysitting their son." She explained to them.
"Hm, didn't imagine that a middle school student needed a babysitter…" Azazel muttered.
"It's their first and only child, sir. I'm pretty sure that they didn't want to take any risks…" Shemazai replied. Azazel would look through the report that they have recorded before directing their attention at them.
"Any reports on those monsters?" Azazel asked them.
"None since the one that attacked Akihabara." The man wearing the fedora and a trench coat said. "Your special group of soldiers went to clean up the mess before Devil King Lucifer sent his scouting party out."
"Good…" Azazel said while breathing a sigh of relief. "It's already a hassle chasing them down…"
"We appreciate the information that you all has managed to gather. Your pay will be received by the end of the day. You are dismissed." Shemazai told them. But before they left, Raynare would raise her hand in the air.
"Yes, Raynare?" Azazel asked.
"Not trying to be disrespectful or question your thinking Lord Azazel," she began. "But are you sure that you want to leave a Longinus out there, much less handing it over to the devils?" Azazel will look at her for a while before answering
"You may have a point, Raynare. Leaving a power like that is dangerous, especially with one with no connections to the supernatural. That was before his parents summoned a devil connected to Lucifer. Given any other circumstances, I would've waited for him to grow to see even if a basic human from a basic background could even be posed as a literal threat, but now he's under his sister, so to speak."
"He became a devil?" The girl in the goth lolita dress asked.
"That I do not know as of the current moment." Azazel answered. "All I know is that the Red Dragon is under the Gremory Family protection. And knowing them, if anyone or anything dares to mess with him or his family will most likely cause another war between us, Angels, and Devils. You four are the only ones that know about this and I want it to keep it that way. If any of this ever gets out, there will be serious consequences. All of you understand?"
"[We understand.]" The group replied.
"Good. Now you're dismissed." With that, all of them vanished in a flash of light.
"Azazel, you're sure that you want to relay that information to them?" Shemazai asked his leader.
"I'm sure it wouldn't matter even if I didn't tell them. Hopefully they'll be smart enough to not do anything stupid," Azazel replied.
"Azazel is being too reckless…" the man in the fedora said to his comrades. After meeting up with their leader, Ranayre and her team went back to hideout in an abandoned church in Kuoh. "To leave something of great power unkempt and not only that, he's actually letting Lucifer have him."
"I knew we should've just killed them," the lolita girl said. "Now what do we do? Lady Raynare's plan is basically a bust." Raynare would lean against the wall while looking outside a broken window, out towards the clear night sky.
"Not exactly…" Raynare said.
"Huh? You have an idea?" the Fedora man asked.
"Somewhat. But it'll depend on if any of you can even keep a secret or not. Not even Azazel can even know of it, even at the cost of your life."
Not going to lie to y'all , I've have another story cooking up.
Y'all better get ready to rock.
