Cream POV
There were a lot of Pokémon hurt in the chaos, and a lot who've died. Rush, Doll, Spec, Jolt, Taki, Psych, and Lila were all hurt to some degree. Frost doesn't have any injuries, but he has to stay at the hospital because of... that. Frost killed Metagross and Garchomp while in that... state? He also tried attacking us, but only managed to hurt Rush. That all happened after I lost consciousness. Frost didn't take that information very well. Then there's Gallade, who died trying to stop Darkrai. Spec feels like it's his fault since they were there to rescue him, but we assured him it wasn't him who did it, it was Darkrai and that Malamar.
"I'm still sore all over." Doll mumbled as she rubbed her arms. We sat in my living room watching the news, telling of the chaos that happened only two days ago.
"All you need is some rest." I said with a small smile, earning a groan in response.
"You're lucky you were unconscious, you couldn't feel the pain that way. I was awake for the whole time and it fucking hurt." She muttered while trying to make herself as comfortable as possible.
"These young rescue teams were in the midst of this situation, but they did not run, they actually ran in to help Pokémon flee the area." The news reporter said, a few overhead pictures of us fighting the wild Pokémon and saving survivors popped up.
"Where the fuck did they get those..?" Doll quietly asked. I was equally as confused as her, was there a flying Pokémon taking pictures of the whole thing? How did they get there so fast? All that stuff happened in only a few hours...
"I believe they were already in the area when it happened." Marshadow suddenly appeared behind the couch, startling both me and Doll, who fell off the couch.
"Ow! Why do you always have to do that?!" She yelled, making him apologize.
"I am sorry, but there is something I must ask." He spoke with the usual monotone voice. I looked at Doll, who shrugged. I turned back and motioned for him to continue.
"A friend has made contact with me and she has asked that I assist her in the Crown Tundra. I would like to ask if either of you could come with me." His question made Doll immediately shoot him down.
"Absolutely not! I just got done with the worst thing I've ever been through, so no, I will not go on a long, boring, and possibly life threatening journey with you!" She answered about as honest as she could have. Marshadow looked at me after her answer.
"Uh... I-"
"She's not going either! She might be worse off with only one eye, right?" Doll interrupted me. I was going to refuse politely, but after Doll's last comment...
"I'll go!" I said loudly, shocking Doll.
"What?! Cream, you can't! Your-"
"It doesn't have to do with my eyes. I just... don't feel like I can do much here. Every time we're fighting, I'm just sitting behind everyone, or I'm in the way, making it harder for everyone. If I can be of any help, then... I'll go with Marshadow..." I spoke what was on my mind, Marshadow almost looked surprised. Doll looked down and scratched her head.
"I-I never thought you might feel like that... is there really no way of talking you out of this?" She asked, to which I shook my head.
"Okay... I guess I'll... tell Frost and the others. S-See you later..." She mumbled before walking out the door.
"Then I'll... uh, pack for the trip..." I said quietly and went to get everything I'd need.

Marshadow POV (1 hour ago)
I stood in a large field, the only other thing besides myself being a large tree. A familiar location with a familiar voice calling me.
"Marshadow." I turned to see Magearna, a very old friend.
"Magearna, it is good to see you again." I said, getting a nod in response.
"I'm afraid we mustn't waste time. I am being targeted, and I need your help." She spoke with urgency.
"I am guessing he is still after you?"
"Yes, but he doesn't know my exact location. Meet me in the Crown Tundra, you will know where to find me."
"Of course."
"I suggest you bring another Pokémon with you, as you may not be able to make the journey alone."
"I will find someone and leave as soon as I can."
"Thank you."

Marshadow POV (Present)
"You may need to pack a sleeping bag, as I doubt we will encounter many towns or villages." I suggested, to which Cream nodded and packed a sleeping bag, along with food, water, and many varieties of berries.
"Why have you packed so many berries?" I asked.
"If we're going on a long trip, it's always a good idea to take them, you never know what you might run into after all." She answered with a wink. I suppose that is a sufficient reason. A few minutes later, she has everything she needs in two backpacks, she then gives me one.
"This one's for you." She said sweetly. Although I do not require much food, nor do I require a sleeping bag, I took it anyway. It may be beneficial if I treat this second bag as a backup for Cream. We stepped through the door and walked to the town's outskirts.
"So... how long will it take us to get there?" She asked as we entered the dense forest north of the town.
"It will take about a week to get there, and another to get back." I answered after a second of thinking.
"Maybe we'll run into a town that's having a festival or something." She said with a smile on her face. Something tells me this trip will not be so bad.
