Serket POV
"Ready?" Cream asked me, to that, I could only nod.
"Yeah, sure." I replied before she climbed on my back and I took flight. She wasn't as heavy as I thought, but I was still barely able to get off the ground, so staying in the air is going to be hard.
"I see it!" She yelled to the others, almost making me lose balance.
"If you don't want us to plummet to the ground right now then you should probably stop moving!" I yelled back, making her apologize in return. I saw Ronin and Suijin jump in the water, as well as Marshadow standing on the dock with some rope. I flew around ten meters above the water with Cream moving as little as possible. Everyone waited for a few slow seconds before the red Gyarados surfaced and roared at the two in the water.
"Could you get a little closer?" Cream asked, to which I flew down three meters.
"That's good." She aimed her hand at the Gyarados, who was moving around quickly, trying to hit Ronin and Suijin. The two managed to get it to stay still, so Cream fired a Tri Attack, the ice and fire orbs missing, but the electric hit dead on and paralyzed it. I just barely managed to keep us in the air as she fired, so I brought us back to the docks after she was done. We touched down and Cream got off of me.
"Your turn." She said to Marshadow, who gripped the rope and jumped off the dock, using Shadow Sneak to glide over the water.
"Did you know he could do that?" I asked, Cream shaking her head in response. We looked back to see Marshadow weave around the Gyarados and tie the rope around its body. He changed course, heading towards the left, Ronin and Suijin grabbing onto the Gyarados' body and propelling it forward with Aqua Jet. It was going well... until the Gyarados shook off its paralysis. It shook the father-son duo off and pulled back against Marshadow.
"They need help!" Cream shouted, I lifted my arms and tail up, ready to fly.
"Yeah." I said before slamming my tail down, boosting myself into the air, where I caught the wind and began flying over. The Gyarados' ropes were almost undone and the three were thrown around like rag dolls, so I used Taunt to gain its attention. Its eyes narrowed and it charged at me, but I flew above and back behind it to both dodge and attack back. I landed on its back and Poison Stung it, quickly taking to the air again while the Gyarados began slowing down.
"It's poisoned! You can get it out of here now!" I yelled to the others, getting groans in acknowledgement. I flew back over to Cream as the other three took it away.
"You're so good at that." Cream said as I landed.
"Huh? The fighting?" I asked, earning a nod.
"Yeah, where did you learn to fight like that?" She questioned with a tilt of her head. I paused... where did I learn that?
"I... uh, don't remember..?" I spoke, unable to recall any memories of fighting.
"You forgot? How could you forget something that important?" She tilted her head to the other side.
"First, you don't have to do that when you're confused. Second, I don't remember anything like... that. Actually... I don't remember anything before finding you two back in the Hypno's cave..." My voice became more and more quiet as the realization washed over me. I don't remember anything. Not if I had a job, not if I had friends, not family, or even if I had a house of my own. The only thing I can remember is my name.
"Do you think you have amnesia?" Cream's words broke me from my stupor and I shook my head.
"I don't know." I said plainly, looking at the ground, once again going deep into my own head to find anything before the Hypno's cave.

Nothing. Not even a favourite colour.
"I... didn't notice this before..? I think I need to rest..." I said, going back into the dojo.

Cream POV
Marshadow, Ronin, and Suijin got back a few minutes later.
"The red Gyarados will not return now." Marshadow told me, so I nodded in response.
"Where is Serket?" He asked. I pointed at the dojo's door.
"He's resting. He doesn't remember a thing before we rescued him from that Hypno." I informed him. He walked to the door and slowly opened it.
"I will speak with him." He said before shutting it. I'm worried about Serket, I don't think he's all right after that realization.
"The Gyarados is gone, so now you can leave whenever, but- uh... sorry about the small boat, it's all I've got." Ronin spoke, gesturing to the small blue wooden boat that could fit maybe four Pokémon.
"Oh, it's alright, but I don't think we'll leave right now." I responded, getting a smile in return.
"Fine by me, it is nice to have guests anyway." He chuckled, heading inside. I was about to follow, but was stopped as Suijin began speaking.
"S-So... Cream?" I turned to face him.
"Yes?" I asked, causing him to get a light blush.
"I'm s-sorry about my statement back there... there's nothing wrong w-with you... you're just the first girl I've m-met." He stuttered through, his blush increasing.
"There was n-never a girl who came to t-train at the dojo and this is where I've spent all of m-my life." He finished with a shaky sigh.
"It's alright, but didn't I say you don't have to apologize?" I questioned, making him fumble, trying to think of something to say.
"Hey." I said, getting his full attention.
"Let's just go inside and take a breather." He nodded and we entered.

Marshadow POV
I left Serket after finishing our talk, he seems a bit better now. I walked over to Cream, Ronin, and Suijin, who all sat at the table.
"Yeah, there's never been a female Pokémon train here my whole time running this place, though there hasn't been much of anybody, but that's besides the point." Ronin said, waving his hands as his son chuckled at his words.
"Cream." I said, gaining her attention.
"Huh?" Her eyes seemed to sparkle as she responded.
"We will need to leave soon if we are to get to the Crown Tundra as soon as possible." I explained.
"Oh, right, I almost forgot." She said, grabbing her bag.
"I'm sorry that we have to leave, but I do hope we'll see each other again in the future." She said, Suijin quietly mumbling a goodbye, but his father seemed to have an idea.
"Welp, I think it's been long enough, right son?" He asked, confusing the Dewott.
"What do you mean?" He answered his father's question with another.
"I think it's time you finally leave this place and live your own life." He spoke with a smile.

"W-What?" Suijin responded, confused.
"Oh for crying out loud, I'm saying you should join this lot! Seems like you've finally found some friends, or they found you, and I don't want to keep you from that. I'm sure you'd only be miserable staying here for any longer." He explained.
"Is it really okay? I-I mean what about you?! If I leave then you'll be lonely..." Suijin stated, tears threatening to fall.
"Don't worry about me, I've learned the ancient art of moving into a town. I'll be outta here and in Eterna City by the end of the week!" He answered, laughing loudly. He calmed down and put his hand on his son's shoulder.
"So, you wanna go with them?" He asked. Suijin hesitated, thinking to himself.
"Y-Yeah, I'll go with them." At his answer, Ronin gave him a hug. Cream and I stood by, watching the moment.
"Aw... that's so cute." She said quietly.
"Perhaps." I replied.
"We leaving?" Serket asked from behind us. I turned and nodded.
"Yes, and we are increasing in numbers." His face contorted into pure confusion at my statement.
"What."
