Chapter 6: The Maniacal Mew
Please Read and Review.
(Meanwhile, in the far away city of Eindoak Town, a group of criminals was sitting around a table together. One of said criminals, a Chesnaught spoke up in anger due to feelings of anger directed towards his fellow Criminals).
Chesnaught: Who is she to summon us? (Sitting directly across from Chesnaught at the table was fellow Criminal Family head, a Dracozolt spoke in response to Chesnaught's question).
Dracozolt: Classic power move. (Then another Criminal sitting at the table, a Grovyle said to his fellow criminals).
Grovyle: We are the heads of Eindoak Town's most prominent crime families. (As the group kept talking, a bunch of Kommo-o servants came to the table with beverages and foods for the criminals present. Then Chesnaught spoke up in anger as a Kommo-o served him a tiny cup of tea before leaving).
Chesnaught: And she is just a bug-eyed, power-hungry Psychic Brat. (Then Chesnaught pounded his fist on the table in anger before Dracozolt mentioned something to him).
Dracozolt: You left out the evil sorcerer part. (But Chesnaught just ignores what Dracozolt said as he continued speaking to his fellow criminals angrily, including fellow criminal head Excadrill).
Chesnaught: We used to rule this city. Now we pay her half the money we swindle. (Then Chesnaught pounds his fists on the table again in anger, before another criminal sitting at the table, a Turtonator spoke up).
Turtonator: It is like a Criminal cannot make an honest living anymore. (Dracozolt admits to the point that Turtonator made just now, before asking his fellow criminals).
Dracozolt: Yes, but what could we do? (Things are quiet for a moment before Chesnaught says to the group, taking charge).
Chesnaught: Together, we can take her down. (This idea of Chesnaught's causes his fellow criminals to gasp in horror as Dracozolt questions his thinking).
Dracozolt: Are you nuts? She is a shapeshifter. She could be at this very table, and we would have no idea. (The Others go silent as they realize that Dracozolt was right). For all we know, (Dracozolt turns to Grovyle accusing him) you are Mew. (Then he turns to accuse Chesnaught, pointing at him). Or you are Mew. (But then Dracozolt stops as he rises from his chair). Or maybe... (Grovyle is quick to panic realizing something that Horrifies him).
Grovyle: Oh, no. (But Dracozolt ignores the fear that Grovyle is obviously feeling as he continues speaking).
Dracozolt: Maybe... (By now, Grovyle is feeling very greatly afraid as he pleads hoping that this is not truly happening).
Grovyle: Do not say it. (But then Dracozolt proves Grovyle's fears to be real as he then says in a voice that is not his normal voice).
Dracozolt: ... For I am Mew. (Grovyle then panics as he screams to himself).
Grovyle: But I said do not say it. (But then Dracozolt's always closed eyes suddenly opened revealing a pair of shiny Blue Eyes glowing intensely. Everyone watched in horror, as Dracozolt's body began to spasm wildly as Dracozolt's body transformed into another Pokémon. This new Pokémon was much smaller than Dracozolt was, and was pink with a round, wide snout; triangular ears; and large, blue eyes. It has short arms with three-fingered paws and large hind paws with oval markings on the soles. Its tail is long and thin with an ovoid tip. This was the Maniacal Mew that Meowscarada told Snorlax about. Once she finished transforming back into her true form, she landed on a small throne big enough for her to sit in, then her Kommo-o servants went and lifted her up into the air. Then everyone realized that they all made a HUGE mistake by insulting and mocking Mew just now, even entertaining the idea of taking her down, and did not even notice the clear Eye-Dentity Giveaway, before now. And were only now realizing just how great trouble they were all in, with Grovyle first to speak up after this horrifying realization). We obviously spoke out of turn. (Then Turtonator speaks up wanting to apologize as well).
Turtonator: Sorry, Mew. (But Mew brushed off their apologies telling them).
Mew: No, no. Do not apologize. You and your families prospered by preying upon the weak, (Then the palace doors that are behind Mew began to open) so it does not feel good when you are the one ending up squeezed. (A huge group of Mew's Kommo-o servants come walking out before standing at arms behind her as she continues talking to the criminals before her as her tone becomes angrier and angrier). Especially when the one doing the squeezing is just a "bug-eyed, power-hungry" ... What was the rest? (Knowing that she was talking directly to him, Chesnaught shrunk down in his seat, feeling incredibly nervous and afraid of her).
Chesnaught: Psychic Brat. (Mew then smirked at Chesnaught and the others as she told them using their nickname for her).
Mew: Well, this "Psychic Brat" wants more. (The others become displeased with this news, as Chesnaught said to her).
Chesnaught: You already have the city. What else could you genuinely want? (Mew proceeds to answer Chesnaught's question as her Kommo-o Servants carry her throne over to the table, before she floated out of her seat and into the air, floating only a couple of feet above the table).
Mew: Well, I have something special in mind, I am remarkably close to achieving it. As close as the blood moon. (But then Turtonator spoke up confused about something).
Turtonator: But the blood moon is two nights away. (This does not bother the Maniacal Mew as she tells him).
Mew: So little time, so many expenses. (Then she tells the criminals sitting amongst her). Which is why I will need to increase this month's tribute to 60%. (But Chesnaught has had it with Mew and her demands, and feels his anger and rage from earlier resurfacing, defying Mew telling her bluntly as he knocked her tiny teacup off the table).
Chesnaught: No. (The tiny Teacup ends up hitting one of Mew's Kommo-o servants who do not even flinch at all when the tiny teacup hits it. After a moment of silence, Mew angrily turns to glare directly at Chesnaught who dared to defy her in an angry yet composed tone of voice).
Mew: What was that now? (Realizing that he may have stepped out of line, he shrinks back into his chair to try and not cause to let her rage out on him).
Chesnaught: I mean no disrespect. (But then Mew gets a twisted smirk on her face as she directs it at Chesnaught as she told them).
Mew: Do not worry, I forgive you (She then goes and picks up the teacup that was set down in front of Turtonator and begins to pour it) for the impudence and the backstabbing. And the blatant disrespect you have shown me (The Excadrill sitting near her was looking at her fearfully), I forgive. (Then Mew turns her back on Chesnaught as she tells him). But I will never forget it. You might say I have the memory... (Grovyle, fearing what she is planning to do says begging her).
Grovyle: Oh, do not say it. (Then Mew turns back to face Chesnaught as she menacingly tells him).
Mew: ... Of a "Baxcalibur". (Then Mew goes and uses her "Transform" attack, causing her body to begin glowing multicolored before she begins transforming into a Massively sized Baxcalibur. As her transformation began, the criminal bosses, namely Excadrill, Grovyle, and Turtonator all backed away from the table, not wanting to end up caught in the crossfire of whatever was about to happen as they watched Mew Transformation happened right in front of their very eyes, but rather than going in all at once, her body parts transform individually one after another, with her head being the last to transform and giving way to a truly freaky Baxcalibur face in the end. Once Mew's transformation into Baxcalibur was complete, she lets out a loud roar. That scares all the Crime bosses into complete silence, minus a couple of collected gasps of horror, especially one that came from Chesnaught as he was sure that what he just saw would be Nightmare Fuel for him. Now, having lost her Faux Affably Evil persona where she normally speaks in a calm, and even genial tone, she now was angry enough to reveal her true, Ax-Crazy self- who is capable of outright shapeshifting into any form she wants and can even change in size. Just like what Meowscarada said to Snorlax. Mew then said with a much deeper voice while having the body of Master Baxcalibur, as she then poked Chestnaught's chest with Master Baxcalibur's icy cold claws, making him back away in fear of what Mew would do to him, proving that indeed Evil Sounds Deep. Do you think I have pushed you too far? (Mew continues to scare and intimidate Chesnaught as she said to him in her huge, ferocious looking Baxcalibur Form). Then you, my friend, cannot begin to fathom just how far I can push. (Its only then that Chesnaught realizes that they have made it to the top of the staircase. But then Mew in her Baxcalibur form gave Chesnaught Baxcalibur's enormously Powerful signature move, Glaive Rush. Mew had Baxcalibur's body become surrounded by a purple aura. It then flips its body upside down, blasts frigid air out of its mouth to propel itself, and crashes into Chesnaught with its dorsal blade, sending him into a Staircase Tumble while screaming, grunting, groaning, and whimpering in pain the entire time. The Other Criminal Family heads then went and rushed to Chesnaught's aid. Knowing that she managed to intimidate the crime lords to give her what she wants, Mew turned back into her normal form all with a Cruel and Sinister Smile on her Face as she reminds them of her demands in an extremely low, sophisticated voice, fitting her sinister personality).
Mew: So, I will expect all your tributes by dawn. (The crime lords of Eindoak Town all now understood that Mew, the Queenpin, was Eviler than Thou. And she made that truly clear with her Powerful Psychic Powers that allowed her to take on the form of others and is already ruling over not just an entire city but also, every mob family in said city, making her a Sorcerous Overlord with Transformation Horror into any creature, big or small, whenever she wants, at her command. And she was deadly serious!)
(Meanwhile, deep in a bamboo forest was the traveling duo of Snorlax and Meowscarada. They have been traveling for a while, when Meowscarada asked Snorlax).
Meowscarada: Are we gonna stop for lunch soon? (Snorlax responds to her question about lunch, telling her).
Snorlax: Justice does not stop for lunch. But it does take the occasional time-out for snack age. Wanna split my Malasadda? (He then holds out said Malasadda and splits it in half and eats one half of said snack, before Meowscarada comes and climbs onto Snorlax's shoulder to ask him while sounding confused about something).
Meowscarada: You are just gonna give me half of your cookie out of the goodness of your heart? (Snorlax just answers her point blankly and unfazed by her confusion).
Snorlax: Mm-hmm. (Meowscarada does not understand why Snorlax would do this as she asks him another question).
Meowscarada: What is the catch? The rub? The bamboozle? (Snorlax gets confused with one of the words that Meowscarada used just now).
Snorlax: The "bam-what-le"? (Meowscarada decides to try and spell it out to Snorlax, clarifying it for him).
Meowscarada: You know, the fleece. The rook. The flimflam. (Snorlax gets annoyed with her attitude of "Evil Cannot Comprehend Good", such as how she was... trying to gauge what the catch of accepting this Malasadda is. But he figured that she was looking down on his Kindness, seeing him as an easy mark because of it. Snorlax then bluntly asks her).
Snorlax: Do you want the Malasadda or not? (Meowscarada stays quiet, taking a couple of moments to think it over. But then she goes wild with her Jabba Table Manners, eating the Malasadda messily and loudly eating it as fast as possible near Snorlax's ear. Once she finishes eating it, she turns her attention back to Snorlax and gives him the "I'm Watching You" gesture, telling him warningly as she goes to sit on his backpack).
Meowscarada: And I got my eye on you. (Snorlax tries not to make too much of it, and how it was just like she was expecting a betrayal from him. He then decides to ask his traveling companion).
Snorlax: How much farther is it to this "Mew"?
Meowscarada: Just a little farther. (And so, Snorlax's journey with Meowscarada to the Villainess "Mew" continued).
(Back in Michina Town, it was now nighttime, and the moon was in the sky. Suddenly, one of the wooden planks at Watchog's Restaurant opened and Watchog snuck out with a knapsack in hand. He then began quietly sneak away, only to hear a loud "THUD!" noise causing to turn around and scream when he saw Ursaluna lying on the ground. As he had climbed over the wall to sneak out too. Ursaluna suddenly seeing Watchog here has him screaming too at the same as Watchog does. After a moment, they both stop screaming and Watchog at once begins to interrogate the Pokémon who has recently moved in with him, on what he is doing here).
Watchog: Ursaluna! What are you doing out here in the middle of the night? (Ursaluna tries to explain himself by telling Watchog).
Ursaluna: Well, I... I... I... did not wanna miss the "Blood Moon" rising. (But Watchog does not believe a word of it).
Watchog: Oh, pooh. You are just as worried as I am. (Ursaluna gives up on trying to convince Watchog, admitting the truth to him).
Ursaluna: All right, all right. Well, I know pandas come across as calm, gentle and Chill, but... (Ursaluna then Chuckles to himself) ... the truth is (Ursaluna suddenly begins screaming to Watchog telling him) I am kinda freaking out! (Watchog then confesses his true feelings to Ursaluna, sounding very worried and concerned).
Watchog: So am I. Snorlax is just too calm, gentle, and cool to face a shape-shifting sorcerer. (Ursaluna knows exactly what Watchog is feeling, as he had his own Heroic BSoD moment before, where after to revealing to Snorlax that he lied about knowing Chi during the "Marshadow" incident, he felt like he deserved Snorlax's hatred. But thankfully Watchog was there to help him to get over it and not only that, but he and the villagers managed to become an army for Snorlax in the big battle, and he was the first to figure out how to give Chi and manipulate it. Suddenly, Ursaluna had a worrying thought that scared him).
Ursaluna: What if he ends up captured?
Watchog: What if he ends up tortured? (Then Watchog Gasps as both he and Ursaluna screamed in worry to the skies above).
Both: Our baby!
(Watchog would never forget that moment when Snorlax admitted to him that he did not have the Noodle Dream when trying to go to see The Dragon warrior through a firework-covered chair. He felt saddened by Snorlax not sharing the same ambitions as him. And when he asked Snorlax to get back to work, he tried not to sound angry or disappointed, Moreso hurt that his son honestly is not interested in serving noodles, something he was sincerely excited about beforehand. And then he saw him flop down on the ground, coming close to crying and Whimpering with a defeated expression. Or after having to confess to Snorlax how he had adopted him, Snorlax had to leave to go fight Genesect, and the sad way they ended up saying goodbye to each other. With him reassuring Snorlax that he would always be his father, before asking him, "Right?". Snorlax did not really reply and just left, and only responded with "Goodbye." Not "Goodbye, I love you," or even "Goodbye, Dad," just "Goodbye", like he is wondering if his entire relationship with his father, who ends up loved and trusted his entire life, has ended up built on a lie. But they thankfully had a happy reunion, with them renewing their Loving Father/Son Bond. Then Watchog tries to get them to calm down as he hangs his head down in defeat).
Watchog: Okay, okay. Surely Snorlax has finally met his match, but there is still something that he has that Mew does not. (Ursaluna wonders what Watchog is thinking right now as he asks him).
Ursaluna: What is that? (Watchog smiles as tells Ursaluna).
Watchog: Us. (Ursaluna smiles as he knows that Watchog is right. Then Watchog begins walking off as he has Ursaluna follow him saying). Now, let us go to find our son. (As Ursaluna begins to follow him, he still feels a bit of worry inside him).
Ursaluna: Oh, I hope Snorlax's okay. (Watchog knows that Ursaluna is worried for their son and tries to ease his worries with a bit of advice he has).
Snorlax: You know, Ursaluna, a wise Pokémon once said, "Worrying doesn't make the broth boil any faster". (Ursaluna is not sure what to make of advice like that as he asked Watchog).
Ursaluna: Who was that idiot?
Watchog: Me, of course. Well, I was the wise Pokémon.
Ursaluna: Oh, yes.
(With that, Ursaluna and Watchog began their journey together as both friends and Snorlax's co-dads to catch up with Snorlax and hopefully either save him from this evil "Mew" or help him to defeat the Villainess. Until then, all they could do was hope that Snorlax would be okay. Ursaluna began to wonder if he would need his Chi skills that he mastered after he studied the scroll that Blaziken had brought with her to their village, which allowed him to save his son in the spirit world, before he motivated everyone else to give Chi to Snorlax. For Watchog, he was an Action Survivor as he lacks the Kung Fu skills of his son, Snorlax, Master Urshifu, and the Animarium Wild Force. But he ended up thrown into the thick of action alongside Snorlax against his enemies such as the "Marshadow" incident and yet he managed to come out in one piece and even managed to get in a couple of hits against the villain's minions too. With him and Ursaluna even Teaming up together as Bash Brothers for a "Double Dad Defense" attack on Marshadow's Master Urshifu Jombie armed with a frying pan, proving that the Jombies should Beware the Nice Ones. Because while Ursaluna was extremely relaxed and laid-back, if you hurt his family like Genesect's Darmanitan did, he would be perfectly willing to resort to violence as a Papa Wolf. And for Watchog, it was his love for Snorlax that allowed him to do great feats if his son is in danger, such as when he Masters Chi to help Snorlax in the Spirit Realm and give him the power to go back. He also helped Snorlax to become the Dragon Warrior, by giving him a bit of Wisdom from the Gutter, telling him that "you just need to believe something is special to make it special" which is what led Snorlax to his "Eureka!" Moment that "there is no secret ingredient" to being The Dragon warrior. Watchog knew and believed in that piece of wisdom as he was just a humble noodle chef, but his personal philosophies were ones that he developed during his life while cooking food in his Restaurant. After he lost his wife to Lord Genesect and his minions, and thought the same fate befell his son for more than twenty years, Ursaluna came close to losing him to Marshadow, and he was not going to potentially lose him to this "Mew" Villainess).
[A/N #1: Everyone I would like to genuinely apologize for not uploading a Brand-new chapter for this story for a long time. (I do not know how long exactly that I have been gone for, but nevertheless). It was because my life just became crazy. Like with how Thanksgiving was coming up (and then of course the Start of the Christmas season) (and other stuff that I am not going to go into here), I just have not had the time to work on my stories. And for that, I am sorry. So, I hope this new Chapter makes up for my absence. And to all those who celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. And in case, I do not upload another chapter before the Start of 2025 (for whatever reason), Happy Holidays (Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or anything else), and happy New Years. :)].
[A/N #2: Here is a bit of Fun Trivia about Kung Fu Panda 2: In a case of Development Gag: There was originally going to be a Master Bear on the Kung Fu Council, but he was Eventually ends up scrapped. His character model appears as a prisoner in Gongmen City Jail who cheers after Po's Rousing Speech. He is the prisoner who goes, "Yeah..." just before the Wolf Boss Bursts into the Jail, prompting the Chase Scene between him and Po].
Replies to my reviewers:
Ashpoke55: Thank You. And yes, I do intend to make as close to source material (which is "Kung Fu Panda 4") as possible. While also not being afraid of adding own original touches (in other words stuff that does not exist in the source material in any form whatsoever) but I try to keep that stuff to a minimum, as a do not want to deviate away too much or it feels unfaithful to the original story. (But it is always fun to do whenever I get the chance to do it). Anyway, see you in the next chapter. :)
