Chapter 9:
Everyone was in their dorm room, studying for a test coming up soon. Ruby and Yang were doing their best to complete their studying session, Blake was just about finished with her studying, taking her time as to not make any mistakes.
Weiss had already finished studying herself, and was checking her supplies, checking to see if she had enough dust for her weapon.
Peter was in the restroom, changing into his new clothes, he had finished his studies much more quickly, and prepared to head out for the rest of the day.
As he was changing, the symbiote asked, "So, what is your plan for today Parker? I doubt we can find the criminal so easily if they are preparing something to take you out."
"I don't know, all I know is that I have to look out for anything Spidey proof." Peter responds.
"It better not be bombs, we swear you have a tendency to be blown up by explosion, a lot." Venom states.
"I don't get blown up that much…..okay maybe a little…..okay now that I think about it I really do. Huh, if I had a dollar for every time someone used an explosive on me, I'd probably wouldn't have to worry about money for months." Peter quipped.
"It baffles us how you are still alive after everything, you should have been dead multiple times over." Venom replied.
"What can I say, I can get myself in some sticky situations sometimes." Peter says, referring to his stick'em powers.
"Just hurry up so we can go. We are getting bored from being cooped in here, and we assume you as well." Venom grunts.
Peter just complied, putting on his clothes. He was wearing a red shirt with a blue jacket on top, black cargo pants and brown shoes as well. Once he was finished he stepped out to the others, busy with their own tasks before them.
Yang looked over to see Peter in his new clothes, she wished he didn't cover his toned muscles since she found him to hot, something even Weiss had trouble denying. She also thought the scars made him look cooler.
"Looking good Pete, you rock that look." Yang complemented.
"Um, thanks, but I've already worn this for a week already, it's bound to get dull to look at soon." Peter responds.
"But it looks cool on you, and good choice with the red shirt, red is the best color after all." Ruby added.
"I personally prefer black." Blake chimed in.
"The feline gets it."
"Of course, but I wonder if I should confront her about knowing her secret. I feel bad that she is unaware that I know. I wonder why she wouldn't tell us?" Peter wondered.
"Would you tell them about you being the Spider?" Venom asked rhetorically.
"No way, it's for their own safety" Peter quickly argued.
"Sure it is." Venom mocked. "But for what reason would she hide her feline traits is something we are curious about."
"I guess she's afraid on what they would think about her." Peter told the symbiote.
"Peter? Are you okay? You look deep in thought." Blake asked, she along with Ruby always found him spacing out to be concerning.
"Y-yeah I'm fine, just remembered something I have to do later. Anyways, I'm going to head out, got Spider-Man photos to capture and sell." Peter replied.
"Wait a moment I'm coming with you to Vale." Weiss said, stopping Peter from leaving.
"Why? Asking me out on a date Ice queen?" Peter quipped, getting a chuckle out of the others.
"Oh please no, she's too loud." Venom pleads.
"W-what?! No you dolt! I need to head to Vale to restock on Ice dust. I would never go on a date with a jester like you!" Weiss shouts, trying to hide a blush on her face.
"Oh thank god, don't ever do that again."
"I'm just kidding, no need to take that seriously." Peter replied to Weiss, and unbeknownst to everyone else the symbiote as well.
"Well stop that, It's not funny! Besides, I want to make sure you don't come in late like you did this past week. The semester has barely started and your already sleeping slacking off." Weiss chastises.
"I already told you I did my studies already, I'm not an idiot." Peter defends himself.
"Well you certainly act like one./Well you certainly act like one."
"Oh god damnit, we agreed with her on something!"
"So unless I see a passing grade on you're the test tomorrow, then I won't believe your actually intelligent." Weiss finished.
Peter just rolls his eyes and says, "Whatever, I don't need to prove anything to you. Come on Ice queen, let's go catch a bull head together and leave for our respective errands." As he left the dorm.
"Stop calling me that! How would you like it if I called you short and scraggly!" Weiss says as she followed him.
"I'll take that as a compliment."
"Ugh!!"
Ruby, Yang and Blake laughed at the dis-functional duo as they left. Blake then says, "Is it bad that I find it kind of funny how Peter gets on her nerves?"
"Nah, it's hilarious how Weiss can't outwit him." Yang responds.
"It kind of is." Ruby says, "Do you guys think she might kill him with how much he annoys her?"
"Probably."
Everyone just chuckles a bit before returning to their assignments, hopefully nothing too exciting happens while they are gone.
/
Peter and Weiss arrive in the city of Vale. Once they step off the bullhead, Peter then says, "This is where we part for our separate tasks, I'll see you late-" but before Peter could walk away, Weiss grabs him by the back of his jacket.
"Oh no you don't! Your coming with me, I am not waiting here until late at night for you to come back. First we go get the dust I need, then we go get your Spider-Man photos together, got it."
"Ah crapbaskets, um Symbie, got any ideas here?" Peter asked the symbiote.
"We could dispose of her when no one is looking. No one has to know." Venom suggests.
"I'm going to ignore that. Guess I wait for the right moment to ditch, if not then I won't be able to get my Spidey pics today." Peter decided.
"Are you even listening!" Weiss shouts right in his ear.
"We are this close to strangling her!" Venom shouts, preparing to unleash tendrils from Peter's back.
"No! Don't even think about!" Peter told the symbiote. "Yeah I got it Weiss, no need to shout. I thought you wouldn't want to spend the day listening to my quips."
"I don't, but I want to make sure you don't spend all day and possibly all night out here. I would rather you didn't get yourself, and extent, the rest of the team in trouble either. Now follow, I got errands to attend to first." Weiss demands.
"No one will miss her, maybe our enemies would reward us." Venom pleads, it did not want to spend the day anywhere near her.
"It's just for one day ok? Besides I doubt she has much to do, so maybe I can go on my own soon, without her tagging along." Peter tried to reason with the symbiote.
"Hurry it up Parker! I don't have all day!" Weiss shouts, as she began to walk away.
"I'm coming, yeesh. Take a chill pill snow princess." Peter quipped.
"Just stop with the nicknames." Weiss grumbled, for some odd reason, that specific nickname didn't make her as mad as the other nicknames she got.
"Never." Peter responds, getting Weiss to face palm in frustration.
"Okay, if you keep bothering her like that, then maybe this day will be a bit better for us." Venom chuckled, enjoying the sight of the heiress suffer from Peter's constant rambling.
Peter just chuckles, getting Weiss to regret watching over him so he wouldn't come back late.
"Ugh, why is he like this?" Weiss thought.
Peter thought that this would be a quick trip to the dust store and Weiss would let him be on his way or she would get tired of his non-stop talking. Unfortunately she did falter and just did her best to ignore his rambling and constant jokes.
Weiss would go on to purchase her supplies, and then have them over for Peter to carry.
"Whoa, hold on a moment, I am not you errand boy! Why am I holding your stuff?" Peter asked in confusion.
"That's for your constant babbling, I swear I am this close to stabbing you with Myrtenaster!" Weiss responds.
"Alright fine, I'll carry your stuff." Peter accepted.
"I wish the explosion killed me sometimes./We wish the explosion killed us." Both the arachnid and symbiote said together, with Peter grumbling, thinking Weiss didn't hear him.
Weiss did hear him, but she assumed he was just making an exaggerate joke.
The two of them proceeded to head towards their next location for Weiss to purchase more dust. But on their way there, Peter stomach began to growl.
"Um, Ice queen, can we stop and get something to eat, I'm getting quite hungry." Peter asked.
"No, I still have more things to b-" but Weiss's stomach also growled, signaling to Peter that she was also hungry. Embarrassed, she then says, "Fine, we can stop to eat. But don't think this is a date."
"I know, unlike Jaune I don't actually want to go on a date with you. I just can't fathom why he even likes you. Pyrrha is definitely worth more of his time." Peter quipped.
"Huh?! What do you mean by that Parker!" Weiss shouts.
"It means your personality is colder than the vacuum of space!" He shouts, running away knowing that Weiss would mostly likely try and kill him.
"Get back here Parker!" Weiss yells, chasing after him.
"BAHAHAHAHA! I have to replay that memory in the back of your mind, it's so god damn hilarious! And we agree, her personality is colder than the vacuum of space. We would know, we spent a long time up there." Venom states.
Peter just chuckles as he ran away with Weiss stuff in his arms as she chased him. He decided to lead Weiss somewhere for them to eat so they can continue with their day.
"I'm so going to regret making her angry, aren't I?" Peter thought as he continued to run.
"Yes."
/
Ruby and Yang had finished their studies and were now playing their favorite fighting video game, while Blake was reading one of her books.
Yang was about to win the match, but Ruby landed a devastating combo, securing her victory.
"Take that Yang! I'm the Kung Fu Ninja Ultimate Slayer Death Battle 2 champion! Hiya!" Ruby cheered triumphantly, karate chopping the air.
"Ugh! You got lucky sis, next time I'll be the winner of this game!" Yang claimed. She than looks at the clock and see's that it was now mid-afternoon. "I wonder what Weiss and Peter are up to." Yang wondered.
"Well, knowing Peter, he is probably driving Weiss insane with his constant jokes." Blake says, still reading her book.
"Maybe we should call them, it wouldn't hurt to check." Ruby suggested.
"It's worth a shot, why don't you call her Rubes, I'm sure she won't scream at you." Yang told her.
Ruby nods as she pulls out her scroll and called Weiss's number. After a few moments, Weiss answers the call and Ruby says, "Hey Weiss, how are things going with you and Pe-"
"I'M GOING TO CASTRATE THAT IDIOT IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!" is all everyone heard before she hung up.
"That is…. An interesting choice of words." Blake says after a few moments of silence.
"Oh my god, what did Peter do to get her that upset?" Yang says, trying to hold back her laughter.
"He probably didn't stop calling her by a bunch of ice related nicknames or wouldn't quit making jokes." Blake answered, "They do tend to get annoying sometimes." Blake commented, she found Peter's odd behavior a bit funny, but sometimes she wishes he would be quiet for at least five minutes.
"I think he's hilarious, Weiss cream just doesn't have a sense of humor." Yang chuckles. "What do you think Ruby?"
"I think he's funny too, but I have a question." Ruby tells Yang.
"What's your question Rubes?"
"What does "Castrate" mean?" The innocent little rose asked.
"……"
"……"
"I'll tell you when your older." Yang simply told her.
"You always say that!" Ruby pouts, she just wished Yang wouldn't tell her that when she asks about more mature topics.
"Well, hopefully Weiss doesn't actually kill him." Blake says, returning to her book.
"I'm sure he'll be fine. Anyways, ready for a rematch Ruby?" Yang asked with a smirk.
"I'm always ready!" Ruby replied, ready to play again.
Ruby and Yang proceeded to have another match on the fighting game. Tired of the noise, Blake leaves and heads towards the school's library.
"Things can't get crazier than this." Blake thought.
Blake's thoughts then shifted towards the recent events occurring in Vale. The White Fang had fled from Vale and went into hiding. People assumed that they had given up since Spider-Man had successfully captured many of the group's members, but Blake knew better.
She knew that this was a tactic they used before when their plans didn't go their way, and they would prepare something big to counter whatever threat they faced. And that threat now was Spider-man. She knew that he could be in serious danger if he wasn't careful, and from what she knew from her one interaction of the web-head, he was extremely reckless. Hopefully she could find him again and warn him of the danger he is in.
Once she finished reading, she would go out and search for him so she could warn him. She just wish's that he doesn't continue to be so reckless. Hopefully the part of him that she saw that was serious would show more often.
"I have to warn you."
/
Peter had finally stopped running, he had ran towards his favorite Pizza joint on this planet, and waited for Weiss to arrive. After a few moments, Weiss finally caught up to Pete, she had run out of breath from running so long.
Stopping to catch her breath, she says" I swear….you….. god damn…..dolt…. I'm going….to get….you back….for this."
"Heh, that was great exercise, so now it's time to fuel our stomach's. And what better thing than the best food in the world, Pizza!" Peter shouts, his arms outstretched upwards, facing the building.
"You really like pizza, don't you." Venom points out.
"You like chocolate as much as I like pizza, so you don't get to criticize me." Peter retorts. "I just praise whatever this world's god here that pizza is a food that exists here as well."
"Gods are dead." Venom told themselves.
Weiss just gives a deadpanned stare, unamused by Peter's odd and immature behavior.
"Really, pizza? Don't you eat anything healthy?" Weiss chastises. "Why not a fancy restaurant, the food there is of higher quality." She says as she crossed her arms.
"Well, unlike a certain heiress who has access to large wealth, I can't afford to eat at places like that." Peter quipped, getting a huff from Weiss.
"Ugh, alright fine, we'll eat here." Weiss relented, she was to tired to look for a better place to eat right now.
"Cool, and don't worry, I'll pay. Think of it as an apology for my behavior today." Peter replied as the walked in.
"I deserve more."
"Than I owe you a favor then."
Both teens sit at a table, putting their stuff down to the side, and wait to order for their food.
As they wait, the symbiote then says, "Ight, We're gone."
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Peter asked in confusion.
"We are NOT going to watch you eat and try and make small talk or eat in silence. This is just pathetic, and not in the funny way. So we are just going to repress ourselves all the way back in the depths of your mind and sleep." Venom answered.
"Wait! Don't leave me here on my own, I need someone to talk to if things are going to be silent between the two of us! She hates me!" Peter pleads.
"Adios." Venom says, fading away into the depths of Peter's mind.
"Crapbaskets, I'm screwed."
A few minutes of waiting, a waiter comes by to take their orders. Once the waiter is gone, the both of them just sit their in silence, unsure of what to say.
Peter just whistles for a bit, tapping his fingers on the table. Peter just spends a few minutes doing this action, the constant tapping of his fingers getting more and more constant. Slowly getting annoyed once more, she then asks, "Why?"
"Huh? What do you mean by why?" Peter asks.
"I mean why are you like this? Is it an act to annoy me or do you have brain damage?" Weiss elaborated.
"This is just who I am." Peter answered bluntly. "This is not an act, nor do I have brain damage, although I do get myself into some pretty painful situations with a lot of people."
"No doubt from your "wonderful" personality." Weiss says, making air quotes with her fingers, shuddering seconds after she says that.
"Most definitely, people just can't appreciate good humor." Peter quipped as he rest his hands behind his head.
"Please, even Yang is funnier than you, and she has a terrible taste in puns." Weiss responds with a smirk on her face.
"That's debatable." Peter replied. "But yeah, this is who I am. And you can't change me so you just have to get used to me." He quipped.
"Could you at least tone down the jokes, they get extremely annoying you know." Weiss asked.
"It's how I cope ice queen, so no promises." Peter nonchalantly replied.
Weiss just stares at him, confused on what he meant. "Cope? What does he mean by it's how he copes?" Before she could ask him what meant by that, the waiter came back with their food. Peter received a medium pepperoni pizza while Weiss got two slices of cheese pizza.
"Oh cool, our food is here! Let's eat!" Peter says as he takes a bite out of his pizza.
Weiss stares at Peter has he began to eat, acting as if the conversation had ended. Deciding she would ask later, she began to eat her food as well. While Weiss was eating calmly, Peter was, well, eating pretty fast. Weiss just looks at him with slight disgust, she wondered if his parents ever taught him any manners. She just chose to finish eating so she can finish her errands and help Peter take photos of Spider-Man.
The main reason why she chose to endure all this was to get a chance to see Spider-man again, why the vigilante also made idiotic jokes, u like Peter, he can be serious when he needs to be. She just wished she can get a chance to thank him for saving her life a few months ago.
A few moments later, both teens finished their meal, and waited for the check to arrive. Once the check had arrived, Peter paid for both their meals, they quickly grabbed their stuff and leaves the joint. Peter then asks, "So what else do you have to do now?"
"Unfortunately, it is getting late so I will have to do the rest of my shopping tomorrow." Weiss replied.
"Okay, want me to drop you off at the next bullhead heading for Beacon then." Peter suggested.
"No, like I said, I will not let you stay much longer here. I'm going to help you get your photos quickly then we are going back." Weiss immediately responded.
"Damnit! Where's the symbiote when you need them?" Peter wondered.
/
Meanwhile, in the depths of Peter's mind, the symbiote was watching the newly made memory from earlier that day.
"It means your personality is colder than the vacuum of space!"
"Get back here Parker!"
"Hahaha! We can watch this all night!" Venom laughed.
/
For the next hour, Peter and Weiss looked around for any signs of the web-head, to no avail.
Weiss was slowly getting impatient, she then asked, "Where is this vigilante? How do you even find someone like him?"
"Um, well, I sort of look for places where crime tends to happen. Spidey is usually around places like that." Peter responds. "But crime has been quite low recently, so we may not be able to find him. Maybe Spider-Man took the day off?"
"Why am I not surprised, he seemed just as idiotic as you are. But at least he knows how to act heroic when he needs to be." Weiss jabbed at Peter.
"Heh, you a Spider-man fan girl or something?" Peter joked.
"No-no I'm not!" Weiss lied "I'm just grateful for him saving my life. I only heard a few jokes from him to find him annoying. But when I thought I was going to die, he saved my life without hesitation, he looked like he may have gotten burned in the process as well." Weiss told him.
"I know, that was me after all…" Peter thought. "So you came with me so you could say thank you or something? And here I thought you wanted to hang out me because I'm your friend." Peter quipped.
Weiss scoffed, "We are not friends, we are just team members, nothing else." Getting tired of looking around for the arachnid, unaware he's actually next to her, she then says, "We should go, you can get your photos tomorrow or something. It's getting late and I do not want to be here any longer."
Peter see's that it was getting real late, noticing that the sun was beginning to set.
"Fine, guess I can try tomorro-" but before he could finish, both teens hear distant cry for help coming from an alleyway. Without hesitation, Peter ran to so see what was going on, shoving Weiss stuff into her arms.
Weiss grunts in frustration, but she herself decided to follow and see herself what could be going on. When the both of them peak around the corner, they spot two thugs surrounding a small faunus kid with round glasses wearing an or shirt with black trousers and white shoes.
"Don't squirm freak, you'll just make it harder on yourself." One of thugs threatened.
"We'll make a fortune by ransoming you to your parents, or maybe we could sell you as a slave" the other thug cackled.
"Please! Leave me alone." The child cried.
Weiss looked in disgust at the criminals, she also felt sympathetic towards the child. She knew how it felt to have many people try and ransom her for money since she was the heiress to the SDC as a young child herself.
Weiss then looked at Peter and saw an expression of anger on his face, however this expression of anger was much more intense than what he expressed from before. She actually felt scared at seeing his face for a few moments.
Before she could say anything, Peter zoomed at an alarming speed, hitting both things on the neck with a neck chop, knocking them out instantly.
This surprised both Weiss and the young boy, stunned at how quickly Peter took them out.
Peter then looked at the kid, switching his angry demeanor to a calm, soft look and asks, "Are you ok kid?" kneeling down on the young faunus's level.
"Y-yes thank you." The child responds.
Weiss look on as Peter comforted the young faunus, she found it surprisingly endearing how Peter talk to the kid, as if he was acting like some sort of older brother to the kid.
"What's going on here?" Weiss heard from behind her. When she looked, she saw Blake looking right at her.
"Blake?! What you doing here?" Weiss asked.
"Ruby and Yang were making too much noise so I decided to come out here for a while." Blake answered, "But you didn't answer my question, what is going on here?"
Weiss just pointed towards Peter, Blake looks and sees two unconscious thugs, and Peter comforting a young faunus.
Blake pieces everything together and asks, "Did Peter do that himself?"
"Yes, that dolt didn't even hesitate to help. He can be so reckless sometimes, but at least the kid is safe." Weiss replies.
Before either of them could talk, Peter approaches the two girls, with the kid on his shoulders. "Oh hey Blake, nice see you here. Anyways I'm going to get the kid here home back to his parents, I already called the police to pick these suckers up too. I'll meet you guys back at Beacon."
Before Weiss could protest, Peter just walks away in the opposite direction from where they originally came from, taking the kid home.
"So what's your name?"
"Jorge."
"That's a nice name, mine is Peter."
"Are you a Huntsmen?"
"In training."
"That's so cool!"
Blake just smiles while Weiss just sighs, tired from spending the day with Peter. After waiting for the police to arrive, the both of them explained what had happened as the police apprehended the thugs. Once the authorities had left, both girls walk towards the next bullhead heading for Beacon.
Deciding to make small talk, Blake asks "So, how was your day with Peter."
"It was awful! He never shuts up! Constant quipping and non-stop jokes! He is so damn annoying!" Weiss complained.
"I see.." Blake began, she then asked, "But was there anything specific he said that pissed you off earlier? Because when Ruby called you, you seemed extremely mad at him."
"I don't want to talk about it…" Weiss says, trying to avoid eye contact.
"Alright then, but expect Yang to nag you about the details later. I doubt she is going to stop if you ask her to." Blake warned.
Weiss just sighs, she just wanted to get some sleep at this point. As they continued to walk, Weiss then remembered the conversation she had with Peter earlier.
Weiss then asks, "Hey Blake, what does it mean for someone to cope by making jokes?"
"Huh? Why do you want to know?" Blake asked.
"I'm just curious, I remember hearing that from somewhere and I just want to know what that meant." Weiss lied.
Blake looks at her for a few seconds, skeptical about her reasons for asking. She then answered, "Well people who cope by constantly telling jokes tend to use humor to hide some form of pain."
"Oh, I see." Weiss simply says, "Wait, does that mean Peter is hiding something from us all? What could he be hiding?"
Breaking Weiss out of her thoughts, she asks, "Is this about Peter? Because I highly doubt you would have heard that somewhere else."
"Uh, yes, it is. We were talking earlier when we were waiting for our food to arrive at some random pizza joint. And when I asked him why he has the constant need to make jokes he just nonchalantly said it's how he copes." Weiss explained.
"Wait, you both ate together?" Blake asked, with a smug look on her face. "So you were both on a date then."
"No it was not! Don't change the subject!" Weiss yelled. "We were both just hungry so we got something to eat, that is it!"
"Ok I get it, I won't tease you." Blake the returned to the subject of their conversation, "But do you think Peter actually uses his humor as a way to mask pain?"
"I don't know, to be honest I think he could be just kidding and said that to get a rouse out of me." Weiss replied.
"Well we can ask him about it further another day. Right now it's getting late and we should head back." Blake states.
"Of course, that dolt better be back soon, I swear if he's late again I'm going to.."
"Calm down Weiss. But let's be honest, he is going to come back late. Just try to keep you're scolding down a bit when he arrives." Blake pleads.
"No promises." Weiss simply replied.
Blake just chuckles as both of them enter a bullhead. As they enter, she went deep into thought as she now had new info about Peter.
"Did he really tell Weiss that? What pain are you hiding from us Peter? Oh god I hope he doesn't have a similar past to mine." Blake thought, slightly terrified at a possibility like that. "No, calm down Blake, maybe he was just messing with Weiss. Guess I and maybe Weiss can ask him another day like I suggested. Guess I'll find Spider-Man another day." She thought as the bullhead flew off.
/
Spider-Man running off the rooftops, jumping from one to another. He spent time searching for any crime to stop. Unfortunately for him, it was a quite night so there were no criminals to stop for now, meaning no photos to sell.
"Great, I might not get a paycheck this week. Is it bad that I wish for something bad to happen so I could stop it?" Spider-man asked himself.
"Not to us, if anything we find entertainment in watching you beat up criminals." Venom replied.
"And now you come back, I was beginning to enjoy not hearing you in my head constantly." Spider-man quipped.
"And we enjoyed watching you make a fool of yourself in your memories." Venom jabbed.
"Wait I thought you went to sleep in the back of my mind! You lied to me!" Spider-Man said in a mock betrayal.
"We did, but we decided to spend more time in the depths of your mind. We re-watched that hilarious situation from earlier today." Venom responds, chuckling at how funny it found that situation to be.
"Of course you did, if I asked you to stop watching my memories as your personal drama show on TV would you stop?" Spider-Man asked.
"Nope."
"Why am I not surprised. Look, I'm going to do one last patrol to see if there's anything suspicious going." Spider-Man told the symbiote.
"Or, maybe we could go knock-off hunting." Venom suggests. "If you let us go again, we won't bother you with going again for a week."
"Hmm, if I say yes, would you be quick so I don't stay out late, again. Weiss keeps scolding me about staying out late. And I swear I think I might go deaf from all that yelling." Spider-Man asked
"We can try, no promises. You know we could get rid of her for you, we are sure no one would notice." Venom said, although it knew the answer to that question already.
"For the last time no. I know you don't like her at all, and to be fair I don't exactly get along with her, but she's our….my…..friend? Okay associate, but still, no." Spider-man answered one last time.
"Grr, fine. Can we go to the forest now? We are getting restless." Venom responds.
"Okay, I'm going. And FYI, I'm taking a nap so I might have more energy in the morning. Maybe I can wake up earlier so I can eat more, every time you are active you always end up leaving me extremely hungry." Spider states.
"Go ahead, it will give us peace and silence for once. And as promised we will try and be quick and we won't bother you about this for a week." Venom promised.
"Okay, thanks, wake me up when you are on your way out of the forest." Spider-man says, the black suit forming once again as he entered the forest once more.
Once the black suit formed, Spider-Man closes his eyes so he can nap Seconds later, his eyes open once again, with the symbiote controlling his body.
"Excellent, having a body to control feels, liberating. Now, time to hunt once more." Venom says in Spider-Man's voice, with a slight echo coming out as he speaks.
The symbiote then runs further into the woods and looks for any Grimm nearby so it could destroy them. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you see it, thanks to the negative emotions coming from them, a few Beowolfs come out from the depths of the forest.
A small pack of five circle around the symbiote, ready to tear it to shreds. However when one of the wolf like grimms lunge at them, the symbiote just grabs it by the throat, and squeezes it hard enough for it to die, causing the wolf to disintegrate into dust.
"Pathetic. And you creatures were born for the destruction of all life. Imitators, that's all you are." Venom growled.
The remaining four Beowolfs growl, keeping their distance, looking for an opening to attack. The symbiote just stands there, waiting for anything to happen, it didn't even consider these things as a threat.
At that moment, all four of them lunge at the alien, attempting to trap them in a dog pile. The symbiote jumps up in response, shooting black webbing from each of their arm, and slingshot themselves feet first into the ground. This results in a powerful force hitting all four Beowolfs, resulting in the pack's death, and a small crater in the ground.
"Hmph, disappointing. Is that all there is? We need something more challenging, then again we barely hold back at all so there might not be anything to challenge us." Venom said to themselves.
The symbiote then began to run deeper into the forest, were they would slaughter more Beowolfs, a few Boarbatusk, and one Ursa. The symbiote would take them out all the same, wait for them to attack, counter, and destroy. The alien lifeform soon began to grow bored, it seemed to have cleared out a huge section of the forest, with no Grimm to fight at the moment.
The symbiote grew disappointed, it expected more from what it learned about this world, supposedly these things were endless, with no way of exterminating these things permanently.
"Either the inhabitants of this world is wrong, or we did a better job destroying these pathetic creatures." Venom said to themselves.
The symbiote then pondered going back so soon, however it decided to explore a bit more, enjoying the freedom it had. Deciding to explore a bit longer, the alien jump up high and swung through the trees. While it wasn't to high, the air it felt from swinging around still felt liberating for the symbiote.
A few moments later, the alien arrived in an opening in the forest, with a single, large tree in the middle. They proceeded to climb up the tree, and look at the horizon from above. The symbiote saw the City of Vale in the distance, with all the lights displaying from it. The alien then looked up at the broken moon, light reflecting off of it, looking somewhat beautiful in an ominous sort of way.
The symbiote then took another look at the sky, watching the stars from above. It wondered if there was life out there as well, just like it's home universe where it and Spider-Man came from.
The symbiote took the time to look at everything around it, admiring the light it view. Whether it was Earth or Remnant, it found the lights and sound, except loud ones, of civilization beautiful. It never liked the cold, dark, quiet void of space, if anything it actually feared being alone up there, although that is something it would never tell anyone.
Sometimes, the alien would wonder what to do once this planet dies like so many others, how long would it be alone until it found another planet with life, if there was intelligent life out there. Maybe with no Klyntar here, there just might be. For now, the symbiote would shove these thoughts deep within it's mind, they don't need to worry about that for at least a few billion years.
The symbiote stayed up there for a few more moments to observe it's surroundings. Just then, it's symbiote-sense went off, alerting them to look down below.
The alien looked down to see an extremely large looking Ursa. This Ursa seemed much larger than the ones from before, covered in more bone plating and twice the size of a regular Grimm. The larger Ursa swing at the base of the tree, cutting it down. In response, the symbiote jump off and landed carefully on the ground, several feet away from the large bear-like grimm.
"Much larger than the rest, and more powerful. A challenge perhaps?" Venom said to himself.
The large Ursa roared, and immediately charged at the alien life form.
"Fine, you will share the same grimm fate like the rest of your kind." Venom quipped. "God damnit Parker, I swear if we make jokes like that again we are blaming you for it." Venom said to themselves.
The large Ursa continued to charge at an alarming speed. Before it could hit the alien, the symbiote moves to the side, and gut punches the large bear. Angered by this, the Ursa swung it's arm, hitting the symbiote.
When the symbiote got hit, it was sent flying a few feet away, however they quickly recovered when their feet touched the ground. Without hesitation, the symbiote lunged forward, landing a strong punch onto the eye of the grimm.
This results in the large Ursa to screech in pain, temporally stunning the creature. Taking advantage, the symbiote began to deliver several blows onto the side of the Ursa, damaging the boney exterior.
When the large bear shakes off it's delirious state, it swung it's arms attempting to hit the symbiote. Unfortunately for it, the alien dodges every single attack, and continued to deliver even more devastating blows on it.
The Grimm then began stomping the ground, sending slight shockwaves to send the symbiote back. The symbiote then jumped up onto the stem of a nearby tree. It then ripped the branches of the tree, and flung them at the Ursa with extreme force, resulting in a few branches piercing the bone platted armour.
Extremely injured, the bear-like grimm realized it was losing, and attempted to flee so it could recover and continue to fight another. But the symbiote latched multiple black web-lines onto the beast, preventing it from leaving.
"Where do you think your going? We're not done yet." Venom growled.
The symbiote then pulled on the webbing, causing the Ursa to fall on it's back. The symbiote then jumped onto it's exposed stomach, and began pummeling it. The symbiote continued to land blow, after blow, after blow, brutally pummeling the large bear, until the pummeling eventually turned into slashing with claws forming on their hands.
The Ursa attempted to chomp on the symbiote as a last resort, but the alien just holds out it's arms, preventing it from closing it's mouth.
"Now that's just sad, is this all you could do? Guess you weren't challenging after all." Venom says, as they rip its jaw off, and sent it's arm through the Ursa's mouth, killing the large grimm.
The symbiote watches as the Ursa turned into dust. It expected this thing to be a challenge since it proved to be tougher than most, but not tough enough it seems.
"Guess that's all for tonight, as promised won't bother Parker about hunting these things for a week. Besides, we may have cleared this area for a while." Venom says as they swung away, heading back towards Vale.
The symbiote kept swinging into it reached the wall separating the forest and the city, it a few moments to breath before it would wake Spider-man up and give control back to him.
"Guess we are done, hmph, we wonder if the old man was watching that. Mostly likely. Well, as long as they don't try anything against us, then we won't try anything either." Venom thought.

Like the symbiote correctly guessed, Ozpin had watched the live footage of the symbiote's fight with the large Ursa. He had analyzed not just how the symbiote fights, but also what it said when it spoke out loud.
One bit of speech that got Ozpin deep in thought was the symbiote calling the grimm, "Imitators". What the alien lifeform meant, worried Ozpin. While the symbiote had not done anything to the people of Remnant, the headmaster was still wary on what this creature's purpose was. All he knew was that somehow, Peter had been able to get it to cooperate and help him. It still baffled him how chocolate got this creature to stay docile. For now, he would just gather what little information on the alien he could get.
As he continued to analyze the footage, the elevator doors open to reveal Glynda coming in with two mugs filled coffee. She approached the headmaster and handed him one of the mugs.
"Did you learn anything new about that thing?" Glynda asked.
"A few things." Ozpin simply responds, "For one, it constantly refers to the grimm as either knock-offs or imitators. While I'm not sure what it means by that, but since it already knows what the Grimm are, then we can make an educated guess about it's nature. And with how strong, fast, adaptable, and intelligent it is, it just adds more to worry about." Ozpin finished, showing Glynda footage of the Symbiote's speech from encountering the Beowolf pack, and it's fight with the large Ursa, which turned out to be an alpha.
"It took down an Alpha, you know how much trouble even the most experienced huntsmen have with one, and yet here this thing is, treating it as if it's just some toy for it's amusement!" Glynda shouts.
"It is quite unsettling, such a creature could cause serious damage if it decided to attack everyone on Remnant." Ozpin began, "However, it has shown no interest in harming civilians, it seems to only desire to destroy grimm, but why exactly is still a mystery to me. But one detail I can see is that it seems to be inheriting some of Mr. Parker's traits as well." Ozpin said, showing another part of the footage with the symbiote making a quip and blaming Peter for it.
"One silly little joke doesn't seem like enough evidence to make such a claim." Glynda sighs, "But do you really believe that spending enough time with the boy could eventually lead it to inherit his morals?" Glynda asked.
"Like I said, that alien life-form hasn't tried to harm anyone here, it's goal does seem to be survival for itself and its host. Besides, Peter is the only one the alien seems to listen to, all be it barely. So just maybe the creature could learn to be more cooperative." Ozpin finished.
"I see, but wouldn't young Parker suffer from any side affects by being stuck with that thing? It can't be good for his health to have an alien parasite." Glynda said with slight concern for the young hero.
"Possibly, but unless Peter tells us, we won't know for sure. Although with how much he eats, I believe we can assume what one of the cons of being bonded to such a creature could be." Ozpin replied.
"You may be right, although it would be much more pleasant if that boy would eat properly, with or without a creature living inside his body. He leaves such a mess for the staff to clean up." Glynda sighs, she wished the young teen would improve on his eating habits. "You think he would have been taught manners by his parents." Glynda says, which causes both her and Ozpin to stay silent.
The both of them stay silent for a few moments before Glynda finally asked, "Come to think of it, has Peter even mentioned anything about family at all?"
"….No. As far as I can tell, he hasn't mentioned anything about family at all, except from what he told Ms. Rose on the day of initiation." Ozpin responds.
"If I'm correct it involved something along the lines of great power coming with great responsibility. To be honest when he told us those words the day we finally meet him, I didn't think he learned that on his own." Glynda recalled.
"That's correct, the difference from what he told us, and Ms. Rose was the mention of an Uncle. Mr." Ozpin pointed out "Mr. Parker must have learned it from him."
"I see. What do we do for now at least?" Glynda asked.
"Peter will be here in a short while, I suggest you wait until he arrives and escort him back to Team RWBY's dorm." Ozpin instructed.
Glynda nods, and leaves through the elevator to do what she was instructed. Ozpin was now left alone, drinking coffee out of his mug. He kept replying that same speech from the symbiote over and over again.
If there is one thing that he was certain, the symbiote was not natural.

A few days had passed by, and everyone were waiting for their test results. Yang and Ruby were confident that they would pass, Blake was just waiting for to get her results so she could go back to her books, and Weiss sat there proudly, knowing she had gotten the best score on the test.
Peter was as nonchalantly as usual, just keeping himself occupied with a notebook he was going over, occasionally spacing out like he usually does.
After a few minutes, Professor Port comes in the classroom,. Holding the results of everyone's test. He then says "Good evening students, I would like to say that you all did well and passed the test."
The entire class was thrilled to hear this news, the Professor then continued to say, "But I would also like to congratulate one student here who has gotten the highest, and most impressive score I've ever seen yet." Port boasted.
Weiss proudly smiles, she was confident that that she was the student was her.
"And that student is…Peter Parker! Congratulations young Parker." Professor Port said, as he began to pass everyone's test results to each student, starting with Peter.
"Huh?!" Weiss shouts in confused anger.
"Guess he is smarter than he looks." Blake jabbed at Weiss, getting a chuckle from the two sisters.
"But-wha-how?!" Weiss shouts, snatching Peter's paper, comparing his scores with hers. She then sees that not only did Peter actually get an impressive score, but a score that surpassed hers as well.
Weiss just continued to look back and forth at the each paper, after a few moments she lets go of Peter's paper and began to mumble incoherently. "But I-I, but h-he's…" is all that could be heard until she slammed her head on the desk.
"Good job Peter, you broke her." Yang chuckled as Ruby attempted to get through to Weiss.
The symbiote began to laugh extremely loudly until it began wheezing. "This is the best day of our life! We will cherish seeing her broken."
Ignoring the symbiote, Peter says "I guess now she knows not to underestimate anyone based on appearance and behavior. Now, I'm going to be on my way before Weiss try's to kill me in frustration, Byeeeeeeeee!" Peter finished, as he got out of there.
Blake chuckles as Yang laughed loudly. After a few moments, Ruby was able to get through to Weiss and asked, "Hey Weiss, are you ok?"
"No, I'm not. That dolt is smarter than me." Weiss mumbles in defeat. "I thought he was as intelligent as Yang or Ruby."
"Well Ice queen, Peter proved you wrong. Maybe he can teach you a thing or two, he is Co-leader after all." Yang says as she finished chuckling.
Weiss doesn't respond as she still sat there, with no motivation to move at all.
"Maybe he got lucky?" Ruby says, hoping to cheer up her partner.
"Hm, yes, that has to be it! Just pure luck! He tends to get lucky with certain things all the time, that has to be an explanation!" Weiss says as she began to stand up.
"Or maybe he studied more than us, he does spend a lot of time in the library and out in Vale." Blake chimed in.
"Nope, he definitely got lucky. I'll show you what true intelligence and perfection is Parker!" Weiss shouts as she left to study even more than before.
"Um did I screw up? Because that's not what I was trying to do there." Ruby asked, as the three of them watch her leave.
"No, it's just who she is. She'll come around and realize that she is keeps letting things get to her." Yang replied, making sure her sister didn't feel like she screwed up. "Come on, let's go find them and make sure Weiss doesn't do anything drastic." Yang said as she left as well.
Ruby followed with Blake being the last to leave as well. As they walk down the hall, Blake looks out of the window and looks out to see the City of Vale.
She stays there for a few moments, looking out in the horizon until Ruby called out, "Blake, are you coming?"
"I'm coming!" Blake shouts back as she looks out one last time. She sighs as she thinks about what could happen very soon.
"I hope your being careful Spider-Man, they White Fang must have something prepared for you by now."
