After Eric and Taylor were done in the kitchen as everyone was in the living room waiting.
"Finally, we've been waiting to keep telling us." Sky said.
"Yeah. Continue on, dad." Megan said.
"I'll admit this is pretty interesting here." Tyler said.
"Still waiting to know." Andrea said.
"Alright. Alright. Thank you for your patience, I'll still continue on." Eric said.
"Will still start off here, if you don't mind." Katie said.
"No. Not at all. Proceed." Eric said.
"I'll tell this one, out of all the mutants we fought there was only one that wasn't a threat to us and wouldn't hurt a fly. He was in containment for stealing vegetables." Trip said.
"Vegetables?!" Sky, Tyler, Megan, and Andrea all said, confused.
"He only stole them because he was hungry, all he wanted was to be locked in containment." Katie said.
"Lucky for me, I saved him from being destroyed by Nadira and Frax, but Eric along with the Silver Guardians showed up and tried to destroy the mutant, I got him out to safety." Trip explained.
"We were on our way to find Trip and the mutant, when Eric stopped us, he thought all mutants were a threat." Lucas said.
"When we found Trip fighting cyclobots, we managed to destroy them, then Eric showed up, he followed us somehow where Trip and the mutant were hiding." Katie said.
"Eric was about to destroy the mutant, but I got in the way trying to tell him not to, he wouldn't listen, so he opened fire luckily Sky's dad stopped him. I told the mutant to run, we tried to stop him, but he still wouldn't listen." Trip said.
"When we arrived where Trip and the mutant were hiding, Eric had his blaster out and was about to shoot, until we were all surprised on how Trip stood up to him." Lucas said.
"I told Eric if he was going to destroy the mutant, he would have to destroy me." Trip said.
"Why would you let yourself be destroyed by Eric?" Sky asked.
"Well, I'm actually not human." Trip said, and took off his hat showing his green gem on his forehead, which surprised Sky, Andrea, Tyler, and Megan.
"So are you some kind of alien?" Andrea asked.
"I'm a Xybrian, and I guess you can say that." Trip responded.
"We always wondered why your hair was green." Megan said.
"And why you never took off your hat." Tyler said.
"Believe me I was surprised myself too." Eric said.
"Then you tell us to never judge a book by its cover." Tyler said.
"Anyway, still continue on." Sky said.
"Eric shot fire, but he missed. Then the mutant suddenly got out of control with the device on his head which Frax was controlling him with and started attacking us." Trip said.
"It got worse when the mutant grew big, we tried to stop him with our megazords, luckily Trip had an idea to lock him in containment without hurting him." Katie said.
"I tried to get a good shot, but Frax tried to stop me luckily Eric stopped him, then he called in the Q-Rex, we thought he was trying to destroy the mutant again, but he wasn't, the Q-Rex was actually trying to hold him so I can destroy the device on his head, when I did and the rest managed to put him in containment." Trip said.
"Eric on the other hand, like always tells us to stay out of his way, and no offense Eric, you were pretty mean." Lucas said.
"Though I knew his reason why he was like that, he was a lonely person." Trip said.
"Were you, dad?" Megan asked, though Eric felt he didn't want to answer.
"It's okay if you don't want to answer, we understand." Sky said.
"Anyway, Andrea your wait is over." Eric said.
"Finally, I was starting to get anxious." Andrea said.
"Well, we were thinking of telling Eric that we were from the year 3000 then he would understand what we're up against and fight along our side." Katie said.
"Though Sky's dad wasn't sure about it, thinking if his dad would find out that the Quantum morpher was from the future we would be exposed." Lucas said.
"While I was at my old house and I even had pet birds then there was a friendly little next door neighbor I had, who stopped by, I still remember her name it was Alice Roberts, she was around seven or eight years old, I didn't mind her there, though I'll never forget what she said that everyone must have friends. Suddenly, some strange guys appeared and forced me to go with them, I didn't know where they were taking me it was in the middle of nowhere, but they revealed themselves to be a mutant and two cyclobots, he ordered me to call the Q-Rex, surprisingly he had a device to mimic my voice and was able to control the Q-Rex with my morpher, that was when he mentioned the technology from the year 3000 was more advanced, I was surprised to hear from this." Eric said.
"We saw Eric was in trouble, though he did manged to escape by jumping off a bridge, but the mutant shot him in the arm and landed in the water, Sky's mom jumped off to save him." Trip said.
"My mom saved you from drowning, even if you were mean to your own friends." Sky said.
"Did you at least thank my mom from saving you?" Andrea asked.
"I didn't, you wouldn't believe the many things she said, of course you weren't my enemies, not even my friends either." Eric said.
"Not to mention your bad attitude." Katie said.
"Anyway, she started to walk off, when I told her I knew her and her friends were from the future. She tried to explain everything to me, but I wasn't interested in hearing their problems, though she was right I only did care about myself. She told me not to tell anyone about them being from the future especially not to Sky's grandfather, knowing me I couldn't make any promises." Eric said.
"We know and understand that." Tyler said.
"Anyway the mutant was too powerful with the Quantum morpher and the Q-Rex in his control, Sky's mom came back to help us, she blasted the mutant, but he blasted at her, Eric showed up and tried to get his morpher back, the mutant ordered the Q-Rex to destroy him." Katie said.
"When I grabbed the blaster that Sky's mom dropped and shot the mutant, I got my morpher back and got control of the Q-Rex, though the mutant grew big." Eric said.
"We had mention Eric, that we needed to work together as a team, but he rather work alone." Lucas said.
"And I did, defeating a couple of cyclobots and the mutant, in a mega battle mode, I even saved Alice from him." Eric said.
"Did you ever tried to reveal that my mom and her friends were from the future?" Sky asked.
"No. I thought about what your mom told me and decided not to tell your grandfather. When I returned home to see the damage the mutant had done, I couldn't find my birds nowhere, then Alice showed up and she had them, I thanked her for saving them, and I let her allow to come to visit them anytime she wants." Eric answered.
"Your first friend was a little girl, who made you change your mind on your actual friends." Andrea said.
"You actually did had a soft side, why am I not surprised." Tyler said.
"Anyway, what ever happened to your little friend?" Megan asked.
"Last time I remember when your mother and I were moving, I saw she was sad I gave her my pet birds so she can remember me always, she gave me a good-bye hug and your mom too, as we were leaving she told me, she'll never forget me." Eric answered.
"Amazing stories you told us Eric, thanks for telling us." Sky said.
"Yeah dad. We got to know so much about you being a power ranger." Megan said.
"Even how you were back then, you were really a selfish person." Tyler said.
"Your right, I was. If it wasn't for Sky's dad who told me what it means to be a power ranger and even change my ways." Eric said.
"Since dad told us his stories, we want to know how mom became a power ranger." Tyler said.
"Even how you and mom met too." Megan said.
"Maybe some other time, feels like half the day went fast." Taylor said.
"I didn't know what time it is, I should get going before-" Sky was interrupted when there was a knock at the door.
"I wonder who that could be." Taylor said, and went to answer the door.
"I almost forgot to ask you guys; how come my dad didn't come?" Andrea asked.
"We were going to ask him, but he wasn't in is room, we don't know where he went." Katie said.
"We kind of notice, he's been acting a little strange lately." Trip said.
"Same with yesterday, he left out in a hurry and came back late." Lucas said.
"It does sound strange of him, but that's your dad for you Andrea." Sky said.
"Well whatever it is, I'm pretty sure he has a good explanation." Andrea said, when Taylor came by.
"Sky. Your friends are here." Taylor said.
"I'm in trouble now. Thanks Taylor." Sky said and got up then went by the door where his friends were outside. "Hey guys." None of them responded. "You all are probably mad at me for sneaking off this morning."
"You guessed right." Syd said.
"We figured we'd find you here." Jack said.
"Plus, we noticed RIC was missing and followed you." Bridge said.
"We even got done with work early and decided to go find you." Z said.
"I know I owe an explanation about yesterday, I was just not in the mood of talking about it. That's all." Sky said.
"Surprisingly, your not avoiding us this time." Syd said.
"Well, if you feel like talking about it, we're listening." Jack said.
"I will, but we should go hang out somewhere." Sky said.
"Okay. Sounds fine with us." Z said.
"Since were out, might as well enjoy the nice weather." Bridge said.
"I'll go get RIC, Andrea, Tyler, and Megan." Sky said, and went back inside the house.
"Your going to head back now?" Megan asked.
"Actually, I was going to ask if you, Tyler, and Andrea wanted to come hang with my friends?" Sky asked.
"Sure, why not." Tyler said.
"Well, I guess we need to get out of the house anyway." Andrea said.
"Go on ahead, just be back before dark." Taylor said.
"We will. Thanks mom." Megan said.
"Come on let's go. You too RIC. Bye everyone." Sky said, as all three of them including RIC headed out with the rest.
"Good thing they decided to go out, I know they still want hear more stories." Taylor said.
"Some other time will tell them, and since you guys are here there is something important I have to tell you all." Eric said.
"What is it, Eric?" Katie asked.
"It was about a week ago Carter was here and told me something that I would have never known." Eric answered.
"What do you mean?" Lucas asked.
"He showed me some blueprints of the building that caught fire years ago and explained that there were no short circuits that would have caused the fire to start." Eric explained.
"So your saying is that someone caused this fire to happen." Trip said.
"Yes. To make it look accidental and caused our friend Wes's life." Eric said, as Katie, Trip, and Lucas were surprised in knowing this.
