Junior Pov:

"Summer is almost ending. While there have been summer experiences I've been involved in such as my performances at late night clubs and staying up due to the fear of getting ambushed by anxious Kaiju's. This is the first time I'm completely relaxed and have something to enjoy when I go back to Monster High, seeing my friends. It's a feeling I don't get that much since I barely had any growing up by myself. Still shouldn't think about it too much, cause half the time I'm always thinking about getting my claws sharpened for a fight about to happen. But, for the next few days, I'm not going to think about fighting. What I'm planning to do is continue controlling my emotions and how to control this power that's burning inside of me. Whenever I feel like I'm about to use my breath my entire chest wants to explode, the best way to handle this is by taking a lesson from Clawdeen and learning to focus myself."

Morning-Mount Gojira

It was a peaceful morning within the realm with nothing going on or anything that would cause a ruckus, the reason why was because of Junior decided to make his home an advantage point where he could keep an eye out for trouble happening. Taking several lessons from his friends on making a home feel welcoming, Junior made the cave into a living space where he could feel safe and relaxed. Taking a moment to calm himself and control his power, Junior crosses his legs as well letting his tail lay perfectly still so he could see it glow once charges up. Breathing in deeply and calming his mind, Junior felt his heart pumping along a warm feeling starting to build up.

"It's not a curse, it's a heritage passed down to me. It doesn't control me, I control it."

Thinking to himself as well felt his scales glowing faintly at how he was starting to build up his power. Not noticing that there was someone in the cave with him, who was keeping to the shadows as well observing the king who was continuing to harness his abilities.

"Interesting. Even though he enjoys loud music and sometimes fights, Junior enjoys being alone and with no one making sounds."

The strange whispering to herself as she started to write several things on her Icoffin while continuing to watch the lizard's scales glow. Continuing to meditate as well having complete control of the energy he built up within himself, his ears quickly heard a ringing from the side which caused Junior to lose focus and let out a blast from his mouth. The stranger yelped at the attack as well dodged it as the blast went through the rock and right outside. Shocked at how he lost focus and growling at someone in his home, Junior got up growling around the room to see who was here but saw no one.

"Whoever's here. Big mistake interrupting me when I was this close in knowing how I can control this breathing thing I have. So unless you want to see up close as well pay for my wall. Show yourself!"

Shouting in a dominate tone as Junior's eyes glowed at how he was about to do another attack which would bring down the mountain on him. Just before he would let out another blast, he heard a chill coming down his spine as he felt the stranger coming out from hiding.

"Please don't. I didn't mean to scare you, well maybe that was a lie since I've been practicing my summer haunting. But not the spying."

Getting an explanation behind it as he was able to recognize the voice as a girl, more importantly that there was no scent on her. Seeing a shadowy figure by the walls slowly coming out to introduce herself, taking a moment to step back he saw the mysterious intruder was a ghost. Having a visible purple aura surrounding her body along purple hair with a matching dress, around her was several chains attached to a ball that was hanging around her foot.

"Let me guess, You're from Monster High? Cause I remember about a haunting class I was going to take. But couldn't cause I'm not good hiding in the shadows."

Asking her if they attended the same school together as the ghost girl nodded at his question seeing that he was curious about her being here. Seeing that his mediation was finished, he grabbed two chairs he had in the cave and brought one over for to relax. Though it wasn't necessary since she could just float comfortably making Junior feel embarrassed for the gesture.

"My name is Spectra Vondergeist, I'm what most people consider a journalist. Writing stories for Monster High as well anything for my blog."

Introducing herself to the king as well her interest in writing about events at the school, especially about himself which made the kaiju think about what blog she might be talking about. Taking the moment to get out of his phone and bringing up the many gossip blogs that he was introduced to by the ghouls, the Ghostly Gossip. Showing her the screen made Spectra rub her arm in a nervous gesture since it seemed this was the blog she spent her afterlife working on.

"I apologize for past blogs that were brought up about you. It's just there's so many stories that monsters and kaiju's that were brought up around you. Most of them obviously fake but some true, like how most of them could tell that your Gojira's son because of that power you just used right now."

Telling him about how before coming to Monster high, there were many stories were made up by the beings in the realm. Most of them were how he kept himself hidden from others due to how the spell that made kaiju's small didn't affect him and disguised himself as a mountain. Other stories were about him hiding out in the ocean to only come out when there was trouble happening, especially another story that he was a robot that monsters built and made up story about Gojira having a son.

"Well don't read to many stories revolving around me, especially how most of them are to get kaiju's riled up and wanting to take shot at me."

Giving her advice about how most of the blogs that weren't hers were made in the hopes to cause Junior trouble. One of the many reasons why so many were after him, this left Spectra sadden to see how written stories shared on the web could be used against him and enabling him to have a normal life.

"Maybe if it help if I can write an actual blog about your life. Possibly on how you grew up, that way my critics and others would get to know the real Godzilla Junior."

Offering an idea for him since this could benefit not just her reviewers who read the posts she writes for Monster High as well it student's. This could help them and other of readers learn about Junior as well tell everyone who he really us, as well lower the fights he would get into by random kaiju's. Thinking about her offer, the lizard was having difficulty in suggesting in an interview about his personal life.

"The real me? I don't even understand myself actually, all I knew when I cracked from my egg was that I was king. That's it."

Responding to her with another question since he wasn't sure of himself since he pointed up at the wall where the same words that his father engraved the message was still there. Spectra turned around shocked at how she didn't see when she went through the walls as she couldn't help herself but take photos of the words. Especially how she saw the claw marks left by Gojira himself which made Spectra excited, while Junior only rolled his eyes at the ghoul's fascination with the words.

"Plus that my father's reputation is still infamous even after we all got internet. So why talk about me anyway?"

Asking about that compared himself who was still new to everyone as well being open to the public, his father was still popular to talk about along that everyone still respected and feared him. Finishing taking photos of the words, Spectra heard his words and quickly focused her attention back onto Junior since she came her to learn from his side of the story.

"Because there people that are fascinated with you. Not just kaiju's that want to fight you but monsters that want to know learn how you managed to be on your own, including about the fight you had with Ghidorah."

Continuing on about that he was the one that was around and acknowledged about everyone's fascination about him. Along bringing up a recent rivalry between him and Ghidorah stirring up after the incident with the earworm's incident. Hearing the last part of Ghidorah almost made Junior growl due to the three headed dragon still on his mind about fighting him both physically and using his own hobby against him.

"Maybe if you do this interview as well, it could help with understanding what it means to be king."

Offering a solution if he talked about his life than it could be enough to help control his powers. Taking a moment to think about the idea as well that letting out personal feelings could help calm his emotions, it would be possible to use his breath attack at any time he needed.

"Alright. I'll do an interview about my childhood, but I'm not going make it like some tragedy about growing up alone. It's going be done my way, and maybe somewhere that isn't so high in the clouds."

Junior accepting Spectra's offer in having an interview about his background which made the ghost girl excited about learning about his life. Except that he wanted it somewhere that wasn't gloomy and had a friendlier vibe. Agreeing to his request on him having control over how he wanted his story written, she knew the best place where they could talk freely as well have places to go to enjoy the day. The two decided to make there way off of the mountain and traveled to the one place in the realm that anyone could go without worrying about anything important.

Later-Maul of the Titans

Based off one of the human's concepts of gathering to one area to get resources and enjoying company with others. The maul of titans was made, designed by monsters and kaiju's after learned how a human mall worked in the human world. They brought numerous materials as well other items for both sides to share, especially adding entertainment within the building for them to remain their for numerous hours. Spectra always came here to check out any stories that she could write for the Ghostly Gossip due how they mostly came from students who attended the school. Coming through the front doors to check out the interior and stores made, it was a lot for Junior to take in sense he'd never been in a mall before.

"When you said you only went to small places to feel calm you weren't kidding. The look on your face is like the people I scare back in class."

She spoke out as she saw the look on Junior's face since he preferred going to small places whenever he went to get something or do a performance for money and food. Noticing the various looks he was receiving from kaiju's that were shopping in the mall, he glared at them seeing that he wasn't in the mood for fighting.

"Maybe this was a bad idea. I'll just text you about my life."

Commenting about coming here wasn't a good choice as he was about to make his way out of the building before being bumped into Heath and Rhodey. Surprised at the fiery duo being here as well with bags filled with sports equipment and junk food they ordered from here.

"Hey big man! Surprised to see you here especially with school starting up. Thought you'd break some rocks for any new competition that might want a round with you."

Rhodey joking with him about new students coming to Monster high and deciding to fight him in an attempt to become king. Though it earned a growl from how he was trying to ease up on the fighting and try to settle himself around everyone, though what he did notice was the shopping spree the boys were doing.

"Oh, don't mind bag here. We're getting ready for the season starting up again, especially getting footballs that are fireproof."

Heath explaining about how they were getting sports equipment for the games that will be starting up again. Taking out one of the footballs out to show how sturdy it was, he lights it up in fire as the flame surrounded the ball in a unique manner. Looking at the glowing ball as well grabbing it, Junior couldn't help but chuckle at the unique invention that was made for monster sports.

"Got anything else like this?"

Asking if there was more items like this which got the duo excited in seeing Junior lighten up as the two brought him into the mall to see the other types of things they can show him. Spectra secretly smiled since she called the two to help out since she met the two while learning about teamwork between monsters and kaiju whenever they played sports together.

"While they show you around the stores for things that could get your interest. Why not start off with a question people would like to know, why do you enjoy listening to music? Especially human music."

Bringing up a question that seemed to get her attention as well the boys since Junior always had a taste in genres such as metal and rock. Each of them representing what his father was involving making an entrance along establishing domination over anyone that wants to challenge his authority. The four walked over where Junior noticed a music shop with numerous albums, records and other types of bands that have been made in the years.

"Let's just say it helps me aim myself whenever a fight starts. Because I wasn't exactly one of best growing up."

Telling them a surprising fact about him which caught the trio off guard about how Junior wasn't the prized fighter that they thought he was. Junior walked into the store to look at what most people listened to while paying attention to his friends who wanted to know about what he'd just say.

"The same lizard that roughed up that roughed up a four arm kaiju during that performance at the Savage Inn when you were twelve. Really? Because you ripped it's arms off and made him run around like a chicken."

Heath bringing up an old memory about how when he was little and learned about playing an instrument. He tried to see if he could earn himself food by doing a song, but unfortunately caught the intention of a heavy weight kaiju that wanted to take the title. The memory made Junior shutter since he was new to the concept of being challenged and just wanted to get something to eat.

"Not exactly, when everyone ran out to avoid the fight. I ran as well around the place and bumped into the walls that had a lot of swords hanged on the walls. I was lucky to not get my tail cut off."

Explaining that it wasn't him being strong that helped him survive the fight but used his surroundings to help him win. After that, the place was shut down due to how the weapons were real. Looking at what was considered popular in the monster world as well checking out it's artists like Justin Biter. DJ Death Breath, Jaundice Brothers and Monster Jackson.

"I'd get Monster Jackson's 'Thriller', it's still awesome to listen to. Me? I listen to Mummy five."

Rhodey offering a suggestion to what Junior should buy as he continues to look at several artists before finding one that he found interesting. Making sure the others didn't see it, he pays for it at the cashier counter as the four walked out to continue their journey across the mall. Spectra wrote down notes about how Junior's interest in music helped him focus on serious moments as well surviving when he was on his own.

"Here's another question I believe most people want to know about. When did you learn about your dad helping make Monster High?"

Spectra bringing up the topic about how Junior learned about the school that he and Pandora built when the two had first met. Going to the food court where it was good spot to continue his story, Heath decided to grab some grub while Rhodey stayed behind since his father had a part in building the school along with the original Kaiju's that were considered powerful.

"I learned about the school when I was fourteen. By then I learn how to actually fight, most importantly reading about Gojira. Especially how most of his history is mysterious, only thing that was brought up was how he changed from being a destructive force of nature to aiding others."

Bringing up how he was able to look up about who his father was and that during the time when he was still alive. He offered Pandora the knowledge of the realm to help make the school as well her doing the same. Rhodey had memories about his dad when he was growing up, especially how that Gojira called a truce to all kaiju's across the realm along offering them a chance at peace.

"It was shocking for my pops to hear that. Especially how before things got civilized, his nickname was 'fire demon'. He helped with making light for half of the realm and helping out monsters fly in the skies without getting caught by the weather."

Giving his side of the story since his father Rodan was the fire headed Kaiju as well best flyer in all the realm. Hearing how Gojira would stop the fighting as well making everything into a wasteland with the fights he had made would help get his reputation out. Spectra smiled at how she was getting both sides of Junior's and Rhodey's stories since it would help spread the new king's background on learning about his father's history.

"Anyway, after I learned about how someone like him decided to change his life. I'd do the same, make my own life. It was alright until Komos came and somehow pieced together I was Gojira's kid, he tried to convince me to attend Monster high and be a part of what my father and Pandora made together. Which was an attempt to take me out, become the new king and possibly destroy the school and monster society for what happened to his family."

Wrapping up much of how he learned about how he wanted to make his own life than live in his father, only to be persuaded by a hybrid between a monster and kaiju to attend the school and dethrone him. It was a lot for Spectra to write about as well manage it into something Junior would enjoy reading, but from how he told his side of the story. The lizard felt relieved at letting it out, especially around someone who could help him tell others about his true self.

"Hey guys!"

Calling from behind was Heath who brought several custom made smoothies from a nearby stand as he walked over with a shocked expression on his face. Sitting down quick and keeping his head down, the others could tell something was off with him due to how nervous he was.

"So remember that football I showed you when you came into the mall? Apparently, someone had preordered it, and he's someone that has a feud with me. Well mostly the football team."

Expressing a nervous tone in his voice as Junior looked confused about what he meant since he didn't know anyone would have a problem with Heath or the others he knew on the team. His thinking was cut short due to an enraged roar from the sports store that caused some of the monsters to run away in fear of who was causing trouble. Looking offer to see several mannequins thrown out as well burnt, they saw a kaiju minotaur with his horns on fire along appearing to be a football fan.

"You took a football, from Baphomet the infernal?"

He asked Heath about who the kaiju was as well how he met the bull in the past as Baphomet noticed the four which made him blow smoke from his nose. He recognized Junior along the two fire users Heath and Rhodey which got him riled up, while Spectra was writing a new blog about this fiery encounter. Especially how she wanted to see for herself on how the new king handles challenges with him being arounds others who he considers friends, the only thing that was going on in Junior's mind is how he was going try to avoid a fight that could destroy the mall.
