Frankie Pov:
"I've never been in a relationship before. While there have been many in the past, I could bring up that involve historical and tragic endings, monster romances are rare in the world since humans think it can spell the end for them. Luckily my parents have been lucky to stay together throughout this amount of time and continue loving each other, even if they're made up of different parts and people. The same goes for me since despite being made up of different minds of human geniuses, the others like me for me. I could try and attempt to be better but with how Junior, Clawdeen, and Draculaura don't mind me being myself. I'm happy with the modifications I made, but that doesn't mean I don't have to look into upgrading to show that I can protect them from any Kaiju that would try to attack us since we're now his consorts to the throne."
Monster High-Mad Science Class
Today was a special day at Monster High due to the arrival of a new student who had experience in machinery and could make anything out of the box scraps. Frankie and several other students in class muttered about who could it be since it might be a Kaiju since the new student was tough enough to handle themselves in the harshest of environments.
"I hear that they can survive in cold weather and homes. It is nice to invite someone to the village and go fishing for man-eating fish."
Abbey hoped that the yeti ghoul couldn't invite anyone to her village since the mountains of the Himalayas were cold and rough for anyone who couldn't withstand it. Everyone was curious about who'd it be, Frankie on the other hand was busy on several blueprints they'd been looking at personal designs they could work on when class was over.
"I heard they enjoy the sky when it's a clear day, they try to fly up into the air when they have the chance."
Mira heard another rumor about the new student since there weren't that many flying students that were in Monster High. The group continued to talk about the student until they heard the door open which showed their teacher, Mr. Hackington. The former masked executioner gave the students a scare with his scowl so they'd be alert for today's assignment.
"Alright, you lot. Today's class will be reversing a car engine into whatever mad devices come up in each of your demented minds of yours. But before that, I have to introduce you to the new student in our class."
He announced in a British accent as the door opened up to show a ghoul that wasn't a monster nor a Kaiju, it was a robot girl. She had bronze skin with blue and black hair strands of hair, most of her style of steampunk steampunk-based and her heels looked like that of jet boots. The teacher gestured to the robotic girl to introduce herself to everyone since they were fascinated by her appearance as well as her being the first mechanical student at Monster High.
"It's a pleasure to meet everyone. My name is Robecca Steam, and my father's name is Hexiciah Steam. Who originally taught here as well with bringing technology from the human realm to here as well the stores amongst us."
She politely introduced herself and brought up a human that was mostly considered a cyborg due to the mechanical parts he had on him when he came to the Kaiju realm. Despite that, she'd fit right in since the students wanted to sit by her. It seemed most of the seats were taken except for the one that Frankie was by since their bag was taking the other chair's spot.
"Frankie! Let Robecca sit by you!"
Hackington called out their name which startled the reanimated ghoul and caused them to get scared and made their bag fall off from the chair. Before it could land on the floor, Robecca moved quickly due to her jet-steamed boots and was able to catch it. While she was able to hand back Frankie's belongings, everyone else was surprised by her custom-made boots.
"Do those come in sneakers? I'll buy some!"
Deuce spoke out that most of the boys were willing to give Robecca money if they could get her steamed sneakers so they could glide around the hallways. Before the robotic girl could get popular on the first day, they heard a clever hitting the table which stopped everyone's attention and focused on working on the assignment. Having his assistant come over to place the metal engines on the tables, the class started to dismantle them and begin changing them into different types of inventions as Frankie started on theirs.
"Sorry that I haven't been able to introduce myself to you when you came into class. I usually love meeting new people and making friends, but I've been busy lately with a small hobby."
Frankie apologized to the new student for not properly introducing themself to her since whenever there was a chance to make a new friend, they were eager to learn from them. Robecca accepted the apology and took a moment to examine the blueprint design they had sketched out which seemed to look like body modifications.
"Not a problem. I have been distracted with working on small projects back home, mostly with my boyfriend I met during my travels across the world with my father."
Responding to Frankie as the two decided to work together in disassembling the engine into spare parts along started to come up with an ideal object that suited the both of them. The class was hard at work rearranging the broken parts to make something entirely new and different. It took several seconds before the teacher announced that time was up which scared the students at how most of them didn't have the chance to finish.
"Now you lot. Let's see what you made for me."
Hackington asked with curiosity as he walked over to look over at the inventions that everyone had made during their time to themselves. Just as Frankie and Robecca had finished their custom-made invention, the reanimated ghoul retreated to their work on the sketched blueprint. Just as the teacher looked at everyone's projects, he walked over to their table where Robecca gestured to Frankie, so they didn't get into trouble and not pay attention in class.
"Mr. Hackington. May we present the engine pack, it vibrates at a perfect speed to help smooth out any back pains."
Frankie summarized the invention they and Robecca built together and summarized the purpose of the rebuilt device. The masked teacher took a moment to examine the pack and decided to place it on to see if it could work. Robecca showed him the level to pull it as the pack started up, everyone watched how the ghoul's engine pack started to vibrate Hackington's entire body. Just as the teacher enjoyed the sensation of the pack helping out his old bones, there was an unusual sound being made which caused the pack to jitter about.
"Frankie? Were these bolts essential to the pack?"
Robecca asked them as she showed Frankie several missing components to the pack it left the ghoul to realize they weren't focused on the pack due to how invested Frankie was in their blueprint. The engine pack caused Hackington to move around the classroom uncontrollably, the students moved away before the engine pack sent him flying through the window and landing in the bushes. They rushed over to see their teacher stumbling out dazed along confused at what happened.
"You ghouls, get an A for 'absolutely mad'."
He responded to the ghoul's item as the teacher soon collapsed on the grass and passed out from the experiment. The bell soon rang which announced that class was over and allowed the students to head out and possibly talk about the stunt that had happened. Frankie on the other hand felt embarrassed at what had happened and was more focused on their work than school work, Robecca followed the reanimated ghoul to see if they were alright with what happened.
"I'm never like this when I work on an assignment. If only I had time to work on these upgrades to better protect myself and the others."
Frankie spoke to themselves about the designs they'd been working on for a while that had kept them busy for several days which had left them to forget their school work. Robecca patted their shoulder to help comfort the ghoul but resulted in getting a charge from them and shocking several of the locks by the side which shocked several of the students near them. The two didn't say anything but moved to the side so she could figure out what was wrong with Frankie.
"I find it helpful to take a moment to discharge energy if I feel pent up. I usually have to let out steam after getting upset or worked up about any projects in doing. You can share any issues with me if you like."
The robotic girl offered to listen to whatever issue Frankie had been dealing with if they couldn't focus back in the classroom. With how the new girl seemed to be willing to listen to their problems despite just meeting them, Frankie thought it be best to tell them since Robecca could help with the predicament they were in. Making sure there was no one around to spy on them since the issue was personal and best kept secret, the reanimated ghoul decided to hear their issue.
"A few weeks ago there was an incident that happened at Fright Ball which might have been seen on Ghostly Gossip about Draculaura using witchcraft. This may open the door to other users who perform that art, along with how there are rumors of new Kaiju who want to take the chance to fight Junior. So, as his friend, I want to help by seeing what types of modifications if any surprises come out of nowhere."
Frankie explained their situation as Robecca took a moment to recollect the news about what had happened before coming to Monster High. Taking a moment to understand the predicament that they were going through, the new student had something that was on her mind that she wanted to tell Frankie.
"Frankie, you're not. Entirely wrong that others know about what happened with Draculaura and Fright Night. As well as what happened in Seattle."
Rebecca responded to the reanimated ghoul with an alarming reply which caused Frankie to move back since they didn't think any monsters heard about the fight at the witch coven. Seeing how the ghoul moved away from her due to how Frankie could think she was one of the individuals who would want to infiltrate the school or even attack Junior. Rebecca tried to ease the tension between her and Frankie since there was more to her side of the story.
"I meant to say was that me and my father heard about the fight in Seattle. While the vampire community may have kept it secret from most of the monster community, my dad had a store where we were working when the fight broke out."
She explained how she and Hexiach Steam were able to learn about the events since it was an important event that happened during the night. Noticing how Robecca was telling the truth and trying to say anything that could upset them, Frankie decided to listen to the rest of the story.
"When things had settled, my dad requested Headmistress Bloodgood on me attend Monster High since I could help with making inventions to help make the school grounds safe. Especially with my boyfriend who is attending as well but has recently been missing since I arrived."
Informing Frankie on her arrival was requested by Bloodgood due to Robecca's father's help in understanding technology during the start of Monster High. Curious about her missing acquaintance who was important, Frankie didn't know if they could trust the new student's explanation or if she was brought in to make Monster High safer.
"We should visit some friends of mine to help find your friend."
They offered to help Robecca find their boyfriend and see what she could do to help make the school safer for everyone to attend. The only thing that had to be established was meeting the others so they could hear Robecca's story and see that she wouldn't be anyone that they would have to worry about.
Later-Ghoul's room
After bringing Robecca to their room and meeting the others, Frankie explained the scenario to the three as well as them knowing about the defeat of Keizer. Clawdeen and Junior were unsure if it was the truth since they'd been lied to in the past by people who attempted to befriend them. Draculaura backed up Robecca's father being a part of the first generation of Monster High teachers when the school was being created.
"Sorry if we seemed a bit skeptical when you told us about what happened that night. We've hoped that the others who were with us kept it secret since several things couldn't be shared as well."
Clawdeen apologized to the mechanical girl due to how it was the same night that the four formed a quad relationship. Fortunately, Frankie didn't tell her about their dating but only how it took the four of them to face Ghidorah's father that night.
"It's understandable. With how things have been going on in the school, everyone has been on edge. Which is why Bloodgood contacted my dad so he could bring me in, to check up if there can be any modifications to the school's old defenses. Along my boyfriend in assisting Junior in handling hostile situations."
Robecca stating to them how the couple would use their efforts into making Monster High as safe as possible. Though hearing about getting help from a monster seemed unlikely since most Kaiju like to play dirty and use whatever means in a fight. Taking a moment to look up any information of Robecca's dad on the Ghostly Gossip. Clawdeen was able to see images of Robecca attending other monster schools and helping with fixing up the metal workings on the school, along that of the boyfriend she's been talking about.
"Junior? I think you may want to rethink about not taking the extra help."
She spoke to the lizard as Junior walked over to look at her Icoffin to see a rather interesting individual who he thought might have not survive his first fight here at Monster High. He was a robot, but unlike Robecca who was steam punk themed. He was high tech along dubbed as the 'Supersonic Android' for his enhanced speed and striking hostiles with quick instincts.
"Jet Jaguar. Never heard of him, but I can tell others here in the realm would love to take a crack at him and turn him into spare parts."
He commented how with Jet's flashy appearance and that of having similarities to a sports car. He'd be worth a lot of money, the reaction from the others weren't exactly what was on their minds but for the safety of his return. Taking a moment to apologize for his comment, the king was able to figure out where he could find him.
"But. If there's one place where most Kaiju are fond of metal, then it'll be easy to track Jet down. I'll be right back."
Junior insisted on checking out where the missing android will be as the lizard rushed out of the room before his ghoul friends decide to tear him apart. Seeing him run out made the three chuckles at him running out with how they glared at him. Draculaura on the other hand could feel there was another issue that had to be said which she could tell from how Frankie had kept quiet during the conversation.
"Frankie? It's not like you to keep quiet for this long. Or is it about those blueprints you've been secretly doing for a while?"
She brought up about the reanimated ghoul's secret project which left Frankie speechless since they thought none of them knew about it. They sigh in annoyance of her and possibly Clawdeen figuring it out as Frankie walked over to their bag to show them along Robecca on what they've been coming up with.
"We only waited for you to tell us since this is personal. Despite what we've said about you being already perfect, it's always important for you to say it."
Clawdeen assured Frankie on that they had already proven to be amazing without needing upgrades. Though it seems despite the compliments, Frankie now had people in their afterlife to protect. Before they could say something, the two ghouls sat by Frankie's side to see what exactly they had in mind. With them now having others to help out to see what Frankie wanted to try out, the two along with Robecca could help out with making Frankie stronger along with defending their friends and others who would need help with what any troubles might turn up.
Night Time-Pulgasari's Junkyard
There were numerous locations for monsters and Kaiju that would send their garbage along with anything that could be recycled. The owner was a bull Kaiju who had a taste for metal along anything with a steel filling, he was called Pulgasari. While he isn't an aggressive beast and does his job like any other creature in the realm, his hunger for metal knew no bounds and would enjoy anything that would arrive at his yard. The horn boss was right now scrapping his teeth on several broken machines which gave him a rotten taste as he spits it out in disgust.
"Stale. Nothing new ever comes here nowadays, isn't there anything new to eat?"
He asked in an angered tone since whenever he ate something that dissatisfied him, made him angry along unable to control himself. Which didn't help his employee's since they had to work for him. Hearing several footsteps coming over to his office where several bull monsters walked up to see their boss in an agitated mood.
"Boss? We may have found something that you could eat."
One of his bull's announced which caught Pulgasari's attention as he rose from his chair to see what he meant by that. Guiding their metal eating boss around the building, Pulgasari saw several boxes filled with robotic body parts that looked brand new as well smelled incredible. While Pulgasari would question where they found it, his stomach growled at how hungry he was for new metal.
"Hopefully with this 'recyclables' we found. He'll give us a raise, or maybe let us take charge of the place."
They muttered amongst themselves about getting the junkyard and changing up business to make more money. Taking out what seemed like Jet Jaguar's head and getting anxious to take a bite, they heard the doors open wide and interrupting the joyful moment. The bulls looked over to see Godzilla Junior giving off an intimidating glare towards them and making the atmosphere of the room went cold.
"I've heard about the disappearance of a new student that was supposed to arrive at Monster High. Along that there were several bulls who had a fondness of picking up metal, even stealing it."
Junior accusing the employees of ambushing Jet and dismantling him so they could serve it up to Pulgasari. The boss took a moment to look at the king and snort his nose at him for the accusation before tossing the head to his employees so he could handle the situation.
"No disrespect your majesty. But my boys have always brought us metal for us to either destroy or even recycle, possibly allowing myself to indulge in eating it. So out of respect for your father, I'm not looking for a fight. Just need to eat."
He responded to the king with respect but also that his hunger was taken over and would ignore anything else that Junior would say due to the hunger taking over. Noticing how Pulgasari was acting, Junior would have to defend himself but not hurt him. Though he noticed his employees grabbing several tools to show they wouldn't let Junior interrupt him.
"Well then. Guess I got to ruin a meal if it's to save a friend."
Responding to the hostility he was receiving as Junior's eyes slowly glow towards them to alert how he was end this quickly so he could return back to Monster High. Having half of the bulls surround him and Pulgasari putting Jet's dismembered head to the side, they cracked their knuckles preparing to take down Junior so they could presume their business. Before any of them could start up the fight, the light poles around them shut off in an instant leaving them in complete darkness.
"Didn't I tell you folks to pay for the electricity bill?!"
Pulgasari roared towards them before they saw several broken lights turning on from behind. Everyone along with Junior looked to what was happening as they saw Frankie posing in front of them with a new set of clothing. It was a vibrant blue, green and yellow styled dress with their bolts giving off bolts of electricity as they was the one that took away the power.
"I feel the music in my veins, oh so beautiful. Oh, what a dream come true. Singing loudly."
Frankie started off with a song as they sang in an opera style tone which captivated the workers and boys who listen at how controlled they had their voice tone. Captivated by their arrival, Frankie lifted both of their arms to send back the burrowed electricity into several of the broken machines around them to suddenly turn on. Blinding most of the bulls, it gave Frankie the chance to join Junior and back him up in the conflict.
"It's alright to feel a lil' bit lost sometimes. It's alright to wanna ask myself: Oh why? Oh why?"
They asked Junior and was able to dim the lights so the bulls could look at the pair of them and nothing else. While this left Junior confused on why Frankie decided to come and start a performance for them, he noticed by the side was Robecca who sneaked in from behind and to possibly reassemble Jet Jaguar.
"Cos I might have some questions 'bout myself. But at the end of the day it'll be alright. Cos I love myself! No question about it!"
Announcing to everyone before firing off both of their arms towards two of the workers as Frankie's hands grabbed them by the horns and bull them to the ground. Looking surprised at the upgrade that Frankie received, Junior didn't let it distract him as he tail swipes several bulls that were coming up from behind them. The two soon danced together while defending themselves at the same time.
"A lil' bit of this, a lil' bit of that. Their made up of so many spooky parts, oh yeah. Got a monster leg, and a monster heart!"
Junior praised Frankie for displaying this side of them which made the reanimated ghoul blush as they let out a discharge of electricity which shocked a couple of bulls that tried to whack them from behind. Noticing Pulgasari coming from behind to pound Junior, Frankie fired off their leg towards Junior to push him away as they help avoid him from being crushed. Holding onto Frankie's leg, he hurls it back to Frankie as they twirled in a fast motion which knocked out several bulls that tried to surprise jump them.
"I'm stichin' with style. High voltage for miles, humans might think it's vile. But I'ma do me, don't care what they think. Let's go!"
Frankie called out to Robecca as it was her que to help with the distraction, to which she throws Junior his father's guitar as he catches it. Keeping up with the beat, he strums his guitar as Pulgasari took a moment to look at the instrument in his hand seeing how it was different and smelled incredible. Continuing to play the guitar, Junior's scales started to glow again as he then lets out a powerful chord which sends Pulgasari flying in midair and landing in several piles of recyclables.
"Look right, look left. Everyone you see, yeah you gotta respect. So be good, be kind It's what we're all about at Monster High!"
The two sang as before hearing several gears moving from behind them as Junior and Frankie saw Robecca rebuilding Jet Jaguar. Having a color palette of orange, red and blue with silver limbs. Jet had a dynamic presence that match his blue eyes, in which he scans the area on what was happening.
"Cos ya never know what someone's goin' through. You just gotta put yourself in their shoes. Spread peace and love no matter what you do. Count 1, 2 3. I love myself!"
They sang as that caused Jet to run off in a blur where he started to gather several parts from the junkyard and clean them up to make them appear brand new. Rushing over in front of Pulgasari in an instant to present him the pile of metal, the bull's eyes stared at the assembly of what looked like new items and starts to devour it in an instant. With him distracted with the metal in front of him, Jet Jaguar took a moment to see Robecca who was standing by her new friends. Especially Junior who he bows in respect for his title.
"It is an honor to meet you, your majesty. Despite being made in the human world, I hope to prove a valuable ally in the hopes of keeping the Kaiju Realm at peace."
He introduced himself to Junior in a formal manner which made the lizard boy look at him with a questionable look due to how it wasn't necessary. He only shook Jet's hand to show it wasn't that big of a deal and welcomed him either way, to which the four noticed Pulgasari finished with his meal and regaining back his usual self. In which he noticed the commotion that was around him.
"I'm sorry. It seems that I have some workers that aren't modest about where they collect their metal from. Hopefully no one got hurt."
The owner apologized for how he acted due to his hunger and hope that the teenagers didn't get hurt during the fighting. Frankie acknowledged they were alright due to the upgrades they received with the help of their ghoul's and Robecca back at Monster High. With that being handled and seeing that no one was injured, Frankie could see whether or not they needed the upgrades. They had managed to help Junior as well as the new students with any problems that happened today, though that didn't mean they were going not use them since they could help down the road if there were going be any more situations like this during the next several weeks.
