Chapter 182
The Ranger's Trophy
Continuation:
Both the Professor and Kitty are completely frozen.
The Pink Ranger, still having an uneasy feeling behind decides to turn around, only to find the cat creature in a lab coat staring right at her and preparing its attack.. But before it has the chance to do anything at all, the Pink Ranger reveals her laser pistol and zaps it heavily full of pink wind power.. The cat becomes so full that it floats up in the air and meows in dismay.. When the Pink Ranger stops firing and puts her pistol away, she looks at the cat creature and says.
Pink Ranger-Don't worry. You'll bust in a few minutes.
She laughs and continues her way down the corridor.. The cat creature continues to meow's in dismay as it floats down the opposite way of the Pink Ranger.
As the Pink Ranger makes her way further down the corridor, her friends are fighting Terratron within their Zords.
The Pink Ranger makes it to a room that looks like a control room.. Maybe because it is.. She walks inside and sees a bunch of lit up buttons, she says to herself.
Pink Ranger-I wonder what these buttons mean. Hmm.
She takes a closer look but can't decipher anything. So instead of trying, she gets another idea and says to herself.
Pink Ranger-Hmmm. Maybe..
As soon as she finishes the word maybe, she takes out her laser pistol and points it at the control board filled with lit up buttons and continues to say.
Pink Ranger-I think I'll knock out these buttons.
She fires heavy pink blasts at the control board which completely destroy the lit up buttons.. And with the destruction, the entire base loses its energy base, therefore the power shuts off completely.
Luckily for Vanessa and her friends who are still in the sun room of course are still alive when the intense power within the room dies down. Barely able to speak, Vanessa is able to say something because inside she knows the Rangers had something to do with what just happened.
Vanessa-Thank you. Ugh!
Back in the control room, the Pink Ranger makes her way through the base, she finally ends up finding the sun room.. She gasps when she notices Vanessa, Amanda, Jorge, Todd and Brett all lying on the metallic floor looking unconscious.. She rushes to them and asks.
Pink Ranger-Are you all okay?
They respond meagerly..
Pink Ranger-I've got to get you out of here and fast!
Meanwhile, the floating fat cat makes it to where Professor Feliness and Kitty are being held in their icy prisons. They don't know the floating cat is behind them but what happens next surprises them all. The cat's body bursts and the velocity of the implosions breaks away the ice holding the Professor and his assistant. They turn to see nothing but glittering pink power dissipating. The Professor says.
Professor Feliness-What was that?!
Kitty responds unwittingly.
Kitty-I don't know. But whatever it was, it broke us free.
They both look outside to see the Rangers in their Zords and fighting Terratron. The Professor smirks with evil glee and says.
Professor Feliness-Ah good. Soon they'll be a gigantic cat's eye taking over this planet's very own ozone layer! Hahaha!
Kitty-What if the Rangers somehow win?
The Professor's happiness suddenly shrinks but he responds.
Professor Feliness-If they so happen to win against Terratron, even though I think it is highly unlikely, then we'll retreat to our underwater base and construct a new plan!
Kitty nods in agreement but says nothing. The Professor looks up and notices the lights aren't on.. He says.
Professor Feliness-The lights went out.
Kitty-What could of happened Professor? All of the generators were working perfectly.
Professor Feliness-I bet those Rangers had something to do with this! Let's get to the main control room and see what's going on.. Those poor excuse for lab workers better have a good reason for no power!
Kitty-Right.
They both leave their spots.
The Pink Ranger has managed to teleport Vanessa, Jorge, Amanda, Todd and Brett away from the area.. But not after asking Lightwing to use his magic to revive them. After its all finished, she moves back to help out her friends.
Unfortunately although predictable, the Pink Ranger runs into the Professor and Kitty.. She immediately stops and says to them both as they notice her and stop running as well.
Pink Ranger-Get out of my way!
The Professor smirks and says in a howling type way.
Professor Feliness-I wouldn't dream of standing in your way.
Kitty adds.
Kitty-Neither would I.
They both look at each other and give evil grimaces.. The Pink Ranger becomes confused by this, so she says.
Pink Ranger-What's going on?!
The Professor says.
Professor Feliness-Oh nothing, we're just not going to stand in your way, knowing how bad you want to help your friends.
Pink Ranger-I have been fighting for a long time to not know something is up when a couple of evil creeps like you actually want me to go and help my friends. So what's going on?
She pulls out her laser pistol and points it at them both as she says again, but this time with more seriousness.
Pink Ranger-I want to know what's going on and I want to know now.
The Professor and Kitty both leap up beautifully above the Pink Ranger, they land on the ceiling, and you might know this but I'll tell you anyway, they both have extracted claws onto the ceiling and that is what's keeping them up and level, they start immediately making their escape. The Professor says.
Professor Feliness-Change of plans Kitty. We'll make our escape but not before destroying this base. And as for you Pink Ranger.
His tone grows louder.
Professor Feliness-You and your friends are fools! Hahaha
The Pink Ranger gasps and says to herself.
Pink Ranger-I've got to get to the others and fast!
Soon both the Professor and Kitty are out of sight.. They make it to the main control room where almost immediately Kitty starts typing in destructive codes into the computer's database.. The Professor says.
Professor Feliness-Good work Kitty, now hurry up so we can escape and get to our next base.
Kitty responds.
Kitty-Yes Professor.
Professor Feliness-If luck is on our side, the Rangers will destroy Terratron and unleash my cat's eye upon the world!
Vanessa, Amanda and the others reappear in front of Vanessa's house, in fact on her front lawn. Vanessa shakes her head as in a way to make her believe she's sitting on her front lawn, she says.
Vanessa-I can't believe it.. What just happened?
Amanda responds.
Amanda-I think the Pink Ranger saved us.
Everyone gets up after hearing a voice-a voice only familiar to Vanessa.
Debra-Who's out there?
Vanessa turns around and rushes towards the front door, she exclaims on her way towards the voice.
Vanessa-Debbie, its me.. And my friends!
Debra says in a questionable tone because she really can't see Vanessa yet.
Debra-Vanessa?
Vanessa responds.
Vanessa-Yes!
Vanessa finally makes it to the front door and hugs Debra, she then starts crying hysterically.. Debra asks in a fast sympathetic way.
Debra-Vanessa, what's wrong? Why are you crying?
Vanessa doesn't let up. She continues to cry but then a moment of stopping allows her to speak slightly.
Vanessa-The.. Professor.. He.. Tried.. To kill.. Us!
Debra exclaims.
Debra-What?! Are you sure?
Vanessa responds in a continuously choked up way.
Vanessa-Yes, I'm sure! The Pink Ranger saved us and brought us here!
Debra-Oh my goodness.
Todd and the others walk over to Debra and Vanessa.. She asks them.
Debra-Is this true? Is what Vanessa says true?
Amanda steps forward and speaks out first.
Amanda-It's very true.. We were almost fried.
Debra asks.
Debra-Fried?
Todd explains more.
Todd-Yeah, the Professor put us in some sort of room that expelled a lot of heat.
Jorge starts to say.
Jorge-Yeah and that's just putting it lightly.
Brett says.
Brett-Only because you would have had to have been there.
Debra says after calming Vanessa down.
Debra-Come on in all of you.
Vanessa says.
Vanessa-We've got to call my father.
Debra says.
Debra-Don't worry we will.
Back to the Rangers..
Just when the Pink Ranger rushes outside, she sees her friends and their Zords.. She also notices Terratron looking less than formidable. She then starts to think after realizing the Professor and Kitty didn't put up much of a fight, she says to herself.
Pink Ranger-Hmm, it's like they wanted me to come out and help my friends destroy their creation.. Hmmm. But why.
It suddenly hits her.
Pink Ranger-Oh no! That must be it!
She remembers the Professor calling her a fool so she says.
Pink Ranger-I'm no one's fool Professor..
She instantly rushes out and calls out to her friends.
Pink Ranger-GUYS STOP IT, DON'T DESTROY THAT THING!
The other Rangers notice the Pink Ranger and say one by one in their Zords.
Yellow Ranger-Say what?
Red Ranger-We can't just stop!
Blue Ranger-We have to finish it Zelda!
White Ranger-Yeah before it does some real damage!
Black Ranger-Right!
The Pink Ranger moves closer and realizes her friends aren't going to listen to her, so she moves closer, so close that when Terratron sees her, it lifts up its foot.. She then thinks fast..
Pink Ranger-Uh oh, time to make them listen and stop that thing all at the same time!
Soon a universal star essence appears and surrounds the Pink Ranger, then glittering pink energy reveals itself and starts swirling around her body suit. She then lift up her arms as the energy continues to swirl till it reaches the tips of her hand and glows brightly pink. She then says as the pink energy causes her body to twirl around quickly.
Pink Ranger-PINK ENERGY WIND SPHERE!
As soon as the twirling stops, she unleashes the energy sphere towards her friends and Terratron, and when it hits them all at once, it cracks open therefore presenting a very powerful wind that knocks them all down to the ground at once. She says.
Pink Ranger-I hope they won't be too mad..
With Terratron on the ground and not moving, the other Ranger leap out of their Zords.. They rush over to the Pink Ranger and demand explanations.. She says to them.
Pink Ranger-No time to explain, just trust me on this! Now we have got to dismantle that thing before it gets up again!
Just then huge explosions are heard within the Professor's base.. The Rangers gasp. The White Ranger says.
White Ranger-What in the world!
The Pink Ranger says.
Pink Ranger-Don't worry, Vanessa and her friends are out of there. Now lets dismantle that big robot before it gets up.
The Red Ranger asks.
Red Ranger-And how are we supposed to do that without using our Zords that you knocked down like bowling pins?
Pink Ranger-Well Kimberly can freeze it, or Chet.. And after that we take it apart.
The Yellow Ranger asks.
Yellow Ranger-Why not just blow up the thing?
The Pink Ranger responds to that.
Pink Ranger-No!
The Blue Ranger says now.
Blue Ranger-Zelda why don't you just tell us what's going on?
Pink Ranger-Okay.. I think the Professor has a cat's eye in the robot.. And if we destroy it, it'll release the cat's eye..
White Ranger-What? How would you know that?
Pink Ranger-Lets just say I have a feeling..
The Red Ranger says now.
Red Ranger-Well let's go with that feeling..
He says to the White and Black Rangers.
Red Ranger-C'mon you two, freeze it now before it gets up!
The two Rangers obey, they both use their cold powers to completely freeze Terratron's entire body and just when another explosion is heard, this time when they turn to look again, they notice half of the mountain breaking apart.
The Red Ranger turns to the Pink Ranger and asks.
Red Ranger-What's the rest of your plan?
She responds.
Pink Ranger-Now with the entire body frozen we should be able to take it apart, piece by piece..
The Yellow Ranger says.
Yellow Ranger-Its huge, how can we do that? And I'm sure the Zords wouldn't be the right equipment to do so.
The Pink Ranger thinks.. And when she comes up with answer she says.
Pink Ranger-Well then how about we save it as a trophy?
The Black Ranger says.
Black Ranger-Huh?
Pink Ranger-You'll see.
She calls for Lightwing and like the speed of light he appears. He think shrinks Terratron down to a small size.. The other Rangers laugh and congratulate the Pink Ranger, especially after realizing and noticing that deep inside of Terratron, there was a cat's eye, only now it is completely useless.
The Rangers teleport after returning their Zords to their hiding places.. And with them gone, the entire area explodes into a complete disaster area.
Professor Feliness and Kitty have escaped as planned.. They are both within a rocket style jet with the Professor at the main control.. He turns back and notices the blazing disaster area that was once his mountain base but doesn't notice the Rangers or Terratron.. Kitty notices too and says.
Kitty-What happened? Where's Terratron and the Rangers?
The Professor growls and says.
Professor Feliness-Those Rangers have won again! But this is only the beginning! I shall win the next battle!
Both he and Kitty within the jet don't notice something large coming towards them as they make their way towards the vast environment known as space. Kitty turns around and screams out as the Professor picks up speed.
Kitty-PROFESSOR LOOK OUT! A HUGE ASTEROID IS ON A COLLISON COURSE WITH US!
The professor becomes startled and says.
Professor Feliness-What? Oh No!
But it is too late for he tries to get out of the way of the huge asteroid but nothing more is heard but their screams and nothing more is seen but an explosion that destroys both the asteroid and the jet. Next to Terra Falls main nuclear power plant pieces of what was the professor and kitty begin to fall from the sky, all of the pieces land on the ground and begin to sink into the dirt as a very faint howling cry is heard that soon begins to fade.
Everything returns to normal.. Debra contacts Vanessa's father and explains everything to him, and the Rangers find out from Lightwing that Vanessa and her friends are doing fine. So till next time..
