Intro: "In the night with a violet purple shockwave over the ocean and imitating from the moon, it reveals Hiccup and Toothless older by five years dives down flying fast over the ocean surface. It's now Morning as Hiccup rode on Toothless flying to an island, and beside them are two Maximals Airrazor and Nightscream in beast modes. The island has a base combining Viking construction and Cybertronian technology, and flying around it, dragons. In the main tower, is Astrid with her arms crossed, Fishlegs with the Book of Dragons, their dragons Meatlug and Stormfly beside them, and along side them is Tigertron and Cheetor. The screen shows the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut fighting while mounted on their two headed dragon Barf and Belch, Snotlout leaning on a chair with Hookfang behind him, Rattrap and Dinobot stood, while the raptor Maximal held his sword in hand. In the communication tower shows Rhinox, Airazor and Nightscream in robot mode. And in the forge/laboratory is Botanica, Silverbolt and his lover Blackarachnia. Hiccup knee down holding an object similar to a scope with Optimus Primal standing beside him, and Toothless opens his mouth glowing purple violet into the scope that in heightens the light to reveal something. Looking through the scope showing new species of dragon, and it shows images Norsemen writing and glyphs of the dragons and locations. Hiccup narrates as the Dragon Riders, their dragons and the Maximals and Team Prime standing beside each other: "This changes everything." Dragons Race to the Edge and Beast Wars.
As the ship is tilting, the Dragon Riders were in the large cages calling for help, the Autobots tries to reach for their human friends but they can't fully move without almost falling.
In the air between the sinking ship and Dagur's ship Hiccup and Toothless hovers in the air, as Dagur magically/crazy laughs then openly says: "Oh, isn't this exciting? What will he choose ladies and gentlemen?" He spoke as if there's an audience to asks. "Save his friends or capturing his mortal enemy? His brother!" He still thinks of himself as a brother to Hiccup as he's conflicted to do one of the only two morally difficult choses.
Optimus says to Hiccup: "Hiccup, don't worry about us! Stop Dagur!" The Viking prince speaks to the last Prime: "I can't just leave you. But I still can't let Dagur escape." He spoke of his difficult position. Optimus Prime replies back to him: "Hiccup, if Dagur escapes with the dragon-eye, there's an even greater danger, than just our lives be lost." Snotlout speaks up: "He doesn't speak for all of us! So Hiccup whatever you decide, please hurry it up!" He begs his cousin to choose.
To which he does by flying back to the sinking ship, Dagur sees this and says in a disappointed tone of voice: "Hmm, disappointing. But ho so, typically Hiccup." He knew how predictable his 'brother' is. Willing to risk his life to save his friends and comrades.
The Viking Prince and his Night Fury dragon lands on one of the mast in the rear. Hiccup says to his friends: "Move back from the door!" The swoop down in front of the cage, as the other Vikings moves back. "Toothless, plasma blast." The black as night dragon fires at the locked cage handle and it did nothing.
Fishlegs says in complete shock seeing the no effect on the bar hinges: "Dragon proof bars?!" Bulkhead says as his arm transforms into a cannon blaster: "Let me try." He fires as everyone covers themselves and still no effect even Cybertronian weaponry. "Scrap! Whoever made these cages made practically indestructible." Arcee adds her opinion: "That's or made them to be tougher than nails." She spoke of the cages toughness, Hiccup says regarding this new impervious metal: "Whoever built this ship, really knew what they were doing."
Then the ship begins to till, Snotlout is pushed forward and says: "You know, what would be more fascinating?" The ship tilts again, this time with Fishlegs pressing his body against Snotlout's. "Getting us out of here!" Hiccup orders his dragon to fire again, Optimus also orders his fellow Autobots to fire the cage.
Out in the surrounding area, the large eels sees the tilting sinking ship, and slither as well as swim to it.
Back on the ship, Hiccup says regarding the situation: "We need more fire power. Guys, dragon calls." With that, the Dragon Riders use their loud dragon roars to call for their dragons.
Soon the eels began to jump onto the ship, Snotlout yelling asks: "Why did it have to be eels?!" He asked as one was over the cage ready to attack till Toothless plasma blast it in the face. The climbs up to the cage
As more of the aquatic serpents began to show, Smokescreen sees one and releases his right hand to punch it in the face, as it swims back into the water, the Autobot elite says: "I hate those things." Bulkhead agreeable says: "You and me both kid." The wood that Smokescreen hand on too finally gave in and snaps, he was about to fall in but Bulkhead grabs him. "Gotcha kid." He lifts him up. The Autobot elite says to his friend: "Thanks Bulk. I owe you one." To which the Wrecker replies: "You owe more than one." He held on to his friend, with one arm and the other arm on the ship.
Arcee, Bumblebee and Optimus provide cover fire as does Toothless, while Hiccup struggles to open the cage. Then a eel slithers up and pounces on Hiccup's metal limb, he calls for help, to which the Black as night dragon fires at the eel.
Hiccup says to his dragon: "Thanks bud." The dragon riding prince removes his prosthetic limb and tries to use it on the cage door like a crowbar.
But before he can budge it, she ship tilts even further and shakes. Snotlout yells out for his dragon: "HOOKFANG, HELP US! I'M IMPORTANT!" The other riders also call for their dragons names, the two female Vikings were now literally hanging by their arms at the rear cage end's bars.
Arcee says to Optimus: "Optimus, this isn't go so well. We need a groundbridge, soon." The Last Prime says to her: "As much as I agree with you Arcee. We can't risk these eels following us back to Berk. Nor can we abandoned our human allies at this moment." The female Autobot says: "I never thought of abandoning them. But I see what you mean by." She understands what her leader means by.
Hiccup still trying to pry the cage doors open, but then he too starts to dangle with his hands on the cage bars. He calls out to his dragon by name: "Toothless!" He readies to fire but he cannot. Bumblebee beep: ("Oh, great, six shot limit."). Then the Autobot medic says: "We won't need it. Here's the rest of the dragons." They turn to see the other dragons hearing their riders' calls.
Then the two female Vikings' looses their grips and falls, with their combined weight causes the door to finally opens. Snotlout was the one hanging on to the cage bars with one hand and his other grabbing his friend by the leg, but he sees Fishlegs literally holding onto the cage door.
Tuffnut was dangling upside down and his being held by his legs by Astrid's legs who is holding on to Ruffnut with both arms. The male twin has Hiccup's prosthetic foot in hand and says of their freedom from the cage: "That was great." The aquatic serpents were jumping out of the water trying to get him, but Tuffnut dodges them and uses the prosthetic limb to bash them in the faces, till Barf and Belch saves on of their riders. He sarcastically says to his dragon: "Oh, so now you decide to show up." He mounts on his dragon.
With the rest of the riders now on their dragons flying upward, the Autobots see their friends out of danger, Optimus says as he stood on the rear of the ship: "They're clear. Hiccup we're returning to Berk. You must retrieve the object." Hiccup replies to him: "Understood." With that, Optimus grabs his Autobots' hands lifting them up one, by one. Arcee is first for she is closest, then Ratchet and Bumblebee, then finally Bulkhead and Smokescreen with him. Bumblebee beeps: ("Way to go Optimus. Now what?"). To which the last Prime calls base: "Ultra Magnus, we need a groundbridge and now." The second-in-command acknowledges his leader's request and opens on, in front of them, allowing the alien robots to jump into it.
Fishlegs says regarding their latest near death experience: "That's was way too close." Astrid asks her friend: "Hiccup, what are we doing?" The Prince answers his friend's question: "You guys go back to Berk. I'm going after Dagur. Whatever that cylinder looking thing is. I know one thing for sure; It shouldn't be in his hands." So the team splits up where, the Dragon riding prince goes for the strange object.
As the Dragon Riders separate, the hawk Maximal knows as Airazor flies up into the air avoiding their gaze or detection, the female Maximal says to her allies through radio silence: "Optimus Primal, this is Airazor, do you copy over?" The leader replies through his communication device: "This is Optimus, what's your status Airazor, over?" She replies to him: "I saw Optimus Prime, his team, along with primitive humans riding on the mythical beasts called dragons." She states her report, to which the gorilla Maximal says in disbelief: "Dragons? They weren't in the Autobot history books. But then again not many historical records recorded every detail, some were meant to be hidden." He spoke of the possibility why he's never heard of dragons in the history books of Cybertron.
Airazor says to him: "Either way, I saw a strange object. It was a cylinder, I think it holds importance to it." Optimus Primal finishes: "Either way, return to base. Over and out." With that the hawk Maximal flies high into the clouds to avoid detection.
Aboard the ship, Dagur held the cylinder in both hands and says regarding its craftsmanship and ingenuity: "Amazing. I never seen anything quite like this." He was still trying to figure it out. Then Savage the former Outcast second-in-command says in agreement with his leader: "Me neither." Savage was also older and shaved his mustache, Dagur lowers the cylinder and was annoyed by his lieutenant's voice. "What do you suppose it is?"
The mentally unstable Berserker quickly turns around and angrily says: "Don't…ask, ridiculous questions Savage. Just know this, it's mine now. All mine!" He evilly chuckles as he examines the cylinder. "Now, what exactly is it that you do?" He tries talking to it, like it was a child. "Tell Dagur now. That's it, don't be afraid. Tell daddy Dagur." As he was distracted by the object, unknown to him in the fog Hiccup riding on Toothless was closing in, Savage on the other hand can see him.
"Uh, Dagur?" He pointed upwards, which Dagur is now back to being an angrily and annoyed groans and asks: "Ah! What now?!" He turns around to his henchmen, "More stupid questions?!" Savage answers: "More of an observation." He stated, as Hiccup and Toothless barrel rolls upside down and steals the cylinder right from Dagur's hand. Hiccup says to his 'brother': "Thank you kindly." The Viking prince and Night Fury leaves now making Dagur even more angry.
Dagur stuttered at first then yells, his soldier armed with catapults fires at the young man and his dragon, who dodges them. Dagur was so angry he pushes one of his soldiers overboard, the other one Volunteers and jumps off, willingly out of fear. Dagur blaming others for his own incompetence says to Savage: "You see what you did?! You distracted me. And now my pretty centrical, mysterious object is gone." He grabs Savage by his neck collar, and shakes him a bit. Then he turns to the direction Hiccup and Toothless. "Good for you Hiccup! Good for you!" He sarcastically spoke then, speaks still taking a win. "But I got all the gold! You hear me?! All…The…Gold!" He pulls and pushes Savage back and forth till he pushes him down, and he begins to crazily laughs. Then he stops laughing, walks and calmly speaks to himself openly. "You know you can never have nice things with that guy." He walks on top of Savage as he groans.
Back on Berk, Gobber's trying to open the Cylinder which is proven to be difficult. Hiccup asks as he, the Dragon Riders and the whole Autobot team gathers together: "Have you ever seen anything like this dragon eye before?" Tuffnut questions his friend: "Dragon eye?" He gains his attention. "How do you know it's called a dragon eye?"
"Because I named it." Hiccup simply answers, to which Snotlout says feeling this isn't a democracy for the name, and speak up: "Wow, wow, wow. Are we suppose to vote on something like that." Smokescreen agrees with Snotlout: "Yeah, I thought we were a democracy. Which members voices heard."
Hiccup agrees with the two says to the group: "Fine. All in favor, say Dragon Eye." To which all agree and said Dragon Eye with their hands raised. Optimus clarifies: "Then it's unanimous." Snotlout said nothing for a few seconds and breaks the silence: "Just wanna make sure we voted." He spoke of his intentions.
As Gobber still struggled with the Dragon Eye. Astrid with her arms crossed asks the blacksmith: "Can you open it Gobber?" To which he replies: "Can I open it?" He laughs a bit believing he can. "I once open a 500-year-old giant clam at the bottom of the ocean, with my bare hook." He explained how he can surely open it. "Can I open it?" He spoke softly to himself but still people heard it. He twist it, then something happens, it shoots out a dart that his Tuffnut.
The male twin says regarding the dart in his chest: "Uh, what is that? Looks like a…" before he finishes his sentence he falls down face first, as Ruffnut laughs at her brother passing out.
Gobber speaks also regarding the dart: "That's was…something." He continues to work on it. Hiccup seeing the dangers it hold he says to his mentor: "Gobber, maybe you should…" but the old blacksmith was still working on it till he opens a compartment containing a green gas.
Tuffnut wakes up and says: "It's alright, I'm okay. I got hit with something but now…" he sniffs the gas, "No scratch that." He falls to the floor, curls up into a ball and experiences what looks like a seizure without experiencing any organ failure. Hiccup is convinced they need someone older and wiser like the village elder Gothie and says: "Yeah, I'm thinking we should probably get Gothie." WheelJack asks Hiccup: "May I see it?"
Gobber hands it to his friend and says: "Knock yourself out old friend." With that, the Wrecker examines the cylinder, even using his X-ray vision to see what's inside it. WheelJack says regarding the interior of the Dragon Eye: "I'll say this; whoever made this was a master in creative skills. This things like a puzzle, and guarded with booby traps in it. And the key locks are difficult to read. Yep this is one tough nut to crack." He explains the difficulty of the cylinder, even making a joke regarding Tuffnut's name, getting a little lout out.
Up at the village elder/healer's home, Gothie gives Tuffnut the particular medicine for Tuffnut's condition. The male twin didn't like it at all, then he starts scratching his teeth while saying: "My teeth are itching. My teeth are itchy." He still scratches them.
Gothie writes in the sand with her walking stick, Gobber translates her writing: "She says 'That's a good sign'. Means it's working." Tuffnut still scratches his teeth, Ultra Magnus whispers to Ratchet: "How is that even possible? Teeth don't have nerve endings like normal parts of the body." Ratchet replies to him: "Your guess is greater than mine. Somehow this woman's years of gathering herbs have proven to have unforeseen side effects." He explains the unknown reason why it causes the side effects.
The Viking prince walks up to Gothie and says to her: "Thank you, Gothie, we really appreciate this." He spoke as Gobber is still fiddling with the Dragon Eye, even taps it with his hook hand, gain Hiccup and Gothie's attention.
The old woman looks closely at it, then her eye widen seeing the strange symbols even images of dragons on it, and a key hole that looks familiar to her. She turns away frighted a bit looking like she seen a ghost. "Gothie are you okay? What is it?" She answers by showing on her arm a bite mark of three scar teeth marks from biggest to smallest.
The young man was stunned by the scar, Gothie tries to leave, "Gothie." He spoke her name as Fishlegs walks up to him. "Her scar, it matches the key hole." He said to her friend of Gothie's scar.
Fishlegs points out in his opinion: "Yeah, and it looked like a dragon bite to me." Gobber bashes the cylinder against a support-beam and says: "Oh, it is. But she doesn't like to talk about it." Fishlegs dryly says: "She doesn't like to talk about anything." Smokescreen taken back by his words says in shock: "Wow. Fishlegs is growing some Sharkicon's teeth to go with his mouth." Arcee agrees with her friend: "Indeed, shots fired."
The male twin with his hand in his mouth still scratching his teeth: "Oh! So that's why she writes in the dirt with her stick. I thought that just like her thing." Ruffnut jokes: "Yeah, like Snotlout being a woman repellent." The Autobot medic says as he rubs his chin: "It seems Gothie suffered a traumatic experience that was so horrific she probably took a vow of silence. It's understandable, we people or creatures suffers traumatic and stressful experiences, they try to cope with it in their own way." He explains the reasons why she never speaks at all. Tuffnut changes the subject back to his itching teeth: "Maybe we could use the stick to scratch the teeth." He complains of his teeth as Hiccup and Fishlegs leaves.
Gobber still having difficulties of opening the Dragon Eye, and asks them: "Where you going?" The Viking prince answers: "After her." He refers to Gothie. "We have to find out what dragon made that scar. It could be the key to opening the Dragon Eye." He explains to his former mentor.
Gobber says to them: "Wait. I have way of making her talk. Well, scribble anyway." He spoke confidently with his arms crossed, WheelJack questions: "does it involve torture? Because I don't think we can torture an old woman." The Blacksmith answers to him: "No, nothing like that. Just let me handle this." He reassures his friends.
As time passes from days turned night, Gobber with Hiccup, Fishlegs, Ratchet, Bumblebee was at his forge, Gobber opens a pot revealing a stew, it was steaming and cooked to perfection. "It's the old bat's weakness. Isn't it?" She asks Gothie. He then fans it to her face, she is unable to resist the smell licking her lips. "Come on. You know you can't resist Gobber's homemade yak noodles soup." He was right, she couldn't resist it, for the soup was in her counts so delicious it was worth it.
Soon she ate it, and in no time, she had the pot over her head by her arms eating every last drop, when she was done, she lowers it down. Fishlegs was impressed by the old woman's appetite and says to his friends: "Wow! She downed that, like a yak in a heatwave." He stops to think of his words for a moment. "That makes sense right?" He asks them to correct his words.
With the village elder done, she tosses the pot down and sat on a chair with her stomach full, Gobber with his hand and hook on his hips with satisfaction of Gothie now willing to talk, she looks at Gobber and the youths as well as the Autobots.
"Now, tell me about this bite mark." Demanding from the Viking prince. With that, Gothie picks up her stick and begins to write in the dirt. Gobber translates: "'I was a turkey neck.'" She hits him for misinterpreting her words. "Teenager." He corrected himself as he placed his hook hand on his head. "Sorry." He apologized, as Gothie continued to draw in the dirt. "'I had a longing to climb Glacier Island, to find, pure glacier water known for its healing properties. So I went with two, vegetables'." Gothie hits him again for misinterpreting her words.
"Ow! Vikings, sorry." He apologized to her again. "I'm a bit rusty." He explained himself.
Flashbacks of Gothie in her youth, but not much different from her elderly age, except her hair was grayish black. As she and her companions searched for the glacier spring water, Gobber over-speaks to explain the story: "We had only been at the summit, for a few hours. When we were hit by a terrible snowstorm." The trio were about to reach their destination then the snowstorm appears out of no where. "That's when it attacked." The two Vikings were under attacked by an unseen foe snatching the two other Vikings till only Gothie remained, "It was vicious, relentless, and impossible to see in the winter." The teenage version of Gothie was armed with her staff but was unable to see the beast.
Till finally the beast was a dragon who hovers Gothie from behind. "The Snowrath." She turns around seeing the dragon with white scales, she swings her stick only to bitten in the arm, pulled and spin around till it let go of her into a pile of snow. The beast searches for the young Gothie but cannot seem to find her, like it lost track of her.
Returning to the present, the old Gothie was as pale as a lamb, remembering the horror of her past. She continues to write, and Gobber still translates: "'I will never know why it never finished me off that day. I left knowing one thing; that I never wanted to smooch that dragon again.' Smooched?" He was confused at the end, but Gothie hits him again in the head correcting him. "See! Never wanted to see it again." He corrects himself, "You know your drawing ain't what it used to be, old woman." She readies to hit him again, but he quickly says to her. "Eh, but your swings strong as ever." He spoke fearing being hit again.
"Gothie, a tooth from the Snowrath is a key to unlocking the Dragon Eye. You have to help us find it." Said Hiccup beseeching the elderly woman's help for she has more experience with this species of dragon than any of them. She scribes in the dirt, and when Gobber reads it, apparently it's unpleasant and he replies to her: "I can't say that to him. He's the chief's son." He spoke in fear of Gothie who older and think she can speak whatever she thinks. But Gobber is right though, so she erases the first drawing and draws something else on it.
The blacksmith reads it and translates it: "She says, 'no way she's ever going back. Besides Berk needs her.' It's true, she the best healer we got. Present company excluded." He said regarding Gothie and Ratchet. The Autobot medic replies: "I understand, you're not use to new medicines from me. But I have been learning how to heal humans based off injuries and sicknesses." He spoke of his development of his medical skills.
Hiccup suggested: "Gobber and Ratchet can cover for you. And besides, Ratchet said he has been studying the human body to know how to fix us. And I'm sure Gobbet got some experiences." This shocked Gobber who stutters, trying to find the right words but he says: "Of course I can. I've watched Gothie work so many times I know this place, like the back of my hand." He finishes raising his hook hand, he sees this and quickly changes to his real hand.
Gothie is unsure of trusting her medicinal properties to a man who can barely read her drawing, Hiccup says to her: "You remember the viciousness of the Snowrath. I get it that. But you also remember how it was to be my age. To wanna explore, to need, to see what else is out there. To get answers to questions you haven't even asked yet." He walks to the Dragon Eye, picks it up. "This will help me do, all of that. But only, only if you help me unlock it." He tries to convince her to help him on his quest.
The old woman hesitates at first, but he was right, she too wanted to explore beyond the boarders of her homeland. This encourages her to return her old fire, she taps her staffed signify willing to join in the exploration.
The next day in the open sea, Glacier Island is not too far, the Dragon Riders rode to the said island. Hiccup says regarding the island: "Looks like at the size of that island." Fishlegs speaks of the dragon Gothie encountered in her youth: "The Book of Dragons mentions the Snowrath, but doesn't have any information on it. Ho, can you believe this?" He spoke and wheezes in excitement, "A brand new dragon. It's been so long, I forgotten what this feeling is." As he talked, the twins were a bit annoyed.
"Sorry, excited about the new dragon." The large body Viking said to his friends, to which the female warrior on the Deadly Nadder says: "You mean the dragon, that signal handedly whipped out Gothie's entire party?" She questioned regarding the dangers out the dragon.
Fishlegs starts to realizes what she meant by and says: "That would be correct. So worth the long flight." He spoke in disheartening tone buch changes with enthusiasm.
"Speak for yourself!" The Viking riding on the Gronckle turns to the muscular member, who has the elder leaning/sleeping on his back. "Your neck hair isn't covered in old lady drool!" Gothie snores as he spoke. Astrid says: "Okay, here we are." They were close to the island, Hiccup says in relief: "Oh thank Thor."
The Dragon Riders lands on the island but on the smooth surface. Snotlout dismounts first, offers to help Gothie like a gentleman but he lets go of her on purpose causing her to fall down, he says acting like he's sorry: "Oh! Yak hands. Aw, I am so sorry. You okay?" With that the old woman uses her stick to flip Snotlout down by pulling his leg up. "Fair enough." He admits to her.
Astrid says regarding Gothie's retaliation to Snotlout: "You know, we should bring her more often." She smiled at the old woman.
Fishlegs says to his comlink: "Optimus, this is Fishlegs, open the groundbridge on my end." With that, the Groundbridge opens bringing Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Smokescreen. Bumblebee beeps regarding the island: ("Wow! This place is beautiful."). Smokescreen questions his friend: "Beautiful? Looks like a wasteland of snow and ice."
The village elder looks around, sees the terrain, picks up a small ice ball, looks into the pond of ice cold water, turns around and shudds. Snotlout says about Gothie: "Great! Just great! She's got nothing." He sarcastically spoke of her tracking skills. "Someone else is wearing that bag of bones home. She's all knees and elbows." He rubs his back feeling some discomfort, Bulkhead flicks him in the head and says: "Watch your mouth Snotlout! You keep this up, when we get back home I'll wash your mouth out." He threateningly said to him.
Unknown to the team, a Siberian white tiger was watching from a distance where he isn't seen or could be seen for he is blended into the snowy ecosystem. The tiger is a transformer who speak through his comlink: "Tigertron to base. Do you read?" On the other end another Maximal answers: "This Rhinox, what is your status over?"
The tiger Maximal answers back: "I see the humans, dragons and Autobots. They just landed on Glacier Island." The rhinoceros Maximal says to him: "Keep your distance Tigertron." To which Tigertron says: "I wi…wait, I'm getting interference. I'm loosing…" The transmission stops.
He wasn't wrong for all of a sudden without warning a snowy wind begins to happen. Fishlegs slips and falls, but before he could slide, Meatlug grabs him by the neck collar. The youths were also beginning to freeze. Snotlout asks: "Can we please do something? My mouth is starting to freeze shut." The female warrior next to the prince says: "Don't get our hopes up."
"Well, then, we should work fast to find this snowrath." Hiccup spoke of their next move. "Because we're not leaving till we do." Astrid adds: "We should split up to cover more ground." The Viking prince comments his friend's suggestion: "Good idea." Then he turns to the team, "Dragon call if come across anything."
With that, Snotlout says to his dragon: "Quick Hookfang, before she see…" it was too late, Gothie was already on the saddle, she even pats it, offering him to ride. Snotlout's expression changes from being unpleasant to happy to put on a show for her. "Hi! I was just talking about you." He walks to the old woman and his dragon.
Bumblebee beeps to Hiccup: ("I'm gonna scout out the rig, find some higher ground."). The Viking dragon riding prince replies: "Good thinking Bee. Bulk and Smokey will join the search for the Snowrath." Bulkhead says as he transforms his hand into a wrecking ball: "If I run into the Snowrath, he'll be in for a world of hurt." As the Dragon Riders mounts on their individual dragons, the three Autobots transforms into vehicle mode and begins their search.
Unknown to them, the Snowrath was closer than they thought, hiding in plain sight, till it opens its eyes revealing a black eye pupil with blue eyeballs, its pupil elongates like a reptile eye, sensing intruders on its territory.
Back on Berk, Gobber and Ratchet had a long line of Vikings with ailments need attending. Gobber is going through the different jars and a book containing notes. As for Ratchet, he has tools and medicine as well.
The Blacksmith says to himself openly: "Ok. You got this Gobber. Just follow the steps, listen, diagnose and heal. Just like riding your first wild yak." He pucks up a jar, removes the lid and smells it. "Ewl! You never forget that first kick." He sits on a stool only for it to collapse on his own weight. Ratchet says to him: "Sounds easy, but then again it's easier said than done. Not everything is easy as it seems." Gobber replies to him: "True. And I'll have to heal that later." He said regarding the broken chair he sat on, kicks it away and announces: "(Throat clear) Okay, first-sick-nasty-Viking. Doctors Gobber and Ratchet are in the house." He spoke with confidence as he crosses his arms together, Ratchet on the other hand groans in embarrassment.
A man using an axe as a crotch to help him walk with his injury. Gobber says the man's name: "Magnus! What seems to be the problem?" The man replies in anger of pain: "Problem?! My leg is caught in an old dragon-trap Gobber!" He points to his leg that does have an old trap and yet it still functional to get the man injured. Gobber realizes it and tries to help the man while being nostalgic says seeing the injury: "Oh yes, of course it is. I remember my first leg break." He uses both hand and hook to removes the dragon trap, tosses it away, Ratchet tries to stop him but it's too late. The Blacksmith then pulls out a jar, and little splashes some of the jar's content on the wound. "Now let me clean up that wound for you."
Then the human Magnus exclaims: "Ah! It burns!" Gobber replies to the man's reaction: "Ah, it just means it's working." Ratchet exclaims: "NO, HE'S ON FIRE GOBBER! PUT HIM OUT!" The man's injured leg was literally on fire, so Gobber picks up a bucket of water, and tosses both it and the bucket onto the man, but the bucket bounces onto Magnus' face knocking him out. Gobber simply says: "Cured." He simply said, as he drags the man, Ratchet says to his friend: "I'll apply the bandages to help him heal." He helps treats the man, as the Blacksmith returns but accidentally trips, and falls on the floor causing one of Ratchet's tools to fall off and breaks it into pieces.
The Autobot medic exclaims: "GOBBER I NEEDED THAT!" Gobber replies to him: "I'll add that to the 'heal' later." He said as he picks up the pieces and puts them into another bucket to repair later.
Returning to Glacier Island, Hiccup dismounts off of Toothless, just as the Dragon Riders, as well as Smokescreen and Bulkhead regroups but Bumblebee isn't with them. Hiccup asks them: "Anybody find anything?" Ruffnut answers: "All we found were some scattered yak bones." Bulkhead also speaks: "I found a frozen whale body that looked it died from natural causes." Fishlegs adds: "I didn't see anything. But had this weird feeling something was watching me." He felt disturbed by the strange ominous feeling.
The muscular member says sarcastically: "Oh, I had this weird feeling too. Like this old lady that was stuck on my back." But it was Gothie who rises up from behind his back. Tuffnut exclaims in shock: "Ah! Two heads!" He realized his dragon comes with two heads as well and apologizes to him. "Oh. Oh, sorry guys. I mean on you two it works. I've seen it before, and I'm use to it." He explains himself.
Astrid dismounted off her dragon, walks to Hiccup, she turns around see a snow cloud. She then turns to Stormfly who doesn't like the storm at all, and then she asks: "Hiccup, maybe we should get out of here. That looks like a huge storm." She said regarding the colossus storm.
"No. We should dig in here. Wait for the Snowrath the show itself." Said the Viking prince of the plan he stated. "Remember it likes to attack when you can't see it." Then the large body Viking sarcastically says: "Oh great. Just great." Bulkhead says regarding the plan: "So to be clear, we're using ourselves as bait and cannon fodder at the same time? Well that's not good." He dryly said at the end of his sentence, then he turns to Smokescreen, "Hey Smokey, any word on Bee?"
The Autobot elite replies pressing his comlink: "No. The storm's causing too much interference. I can't reach him." He stated to the Autobot wrecker.
Unknown to them Bumblebee is incapacitated at the highest ridge where he was scouting, he was in stasis lock, but was founded by Tigertron in robot mode who drags him to a cave out of the cold.
On Berk, Gobber and Ratchet are still examining the sickly people, Gobber using a single eye magnifying glass looking at a man's foot. He says to the man: "My official diagnosis is; a thorn." The man exclaims: "Yes! I told you that already!" The Blacksmith reassures him: "Not to worry. I can remove it, right quick." The patient with the thorn in his foot asks: "The thorn?" But Gobber replies: "The foot." He turns around, looking for what he needs, a potato but it isn't what he is looking for, a chicken but that wasn't either. Till finally an axe, "Ah! This is what my mother used to do for me." He turns around to see his patient gone. "Heh. Some people don't appreciate the practice of medicine." Ratchet questions his friend: "Don't you think an ax was a little extreme? I mean you could use the chicken to pull the thorn out it will just use its beak and zip its out."
To which the Blacksmith thinks for a moment, and replies: "You know what you're right Ratchet. But I still prefer the ax. Maybe next patient with a thorn in him, I'll give him the chicken." He states the next time he uses the bird like a pare of tweezers.
Back on Glacier Island, the Dragon Riders and two Autobots were in a circular formation and made tents, but the wind was growing stronger and faster. Hiccup yells to the team: "Use your dragons as extra protection!" Toothless uses his wing as a shield against the wind, then one of the tents gets blown away.
Fishlegs in fear exclaims: "It's the Snowrath!" He jumps and hides under his tent, muttering he'll be okay, but then his tent's knocked over. Hiccup yells: "Hold your ground! AND FIRE BACK!" Astrid questions him: "FIRE BACK WHERE?! We can't see it?" Bulkhead says as he aims his blaster hand but in all directions: "This storm's interfering with my targeting system! I can't get a clear shot!" Smokescreen says to his friend: "Bulk, don't you start and go shooting blind." He warns/advices his friend.
The dragon was swooping fasted than the human or robotic eye can see, knocking down all the tents. Hiccup realizes the danger and exclaims: "Actually, you know what? Take cover!" With that the team scatters, and the Snowrath attack blasting his firepower and the team including Snotlout are covered in snow.
Hiccup looks through a large hole in the snow pile he and Toothless are in, and he sees the Snowrath dragon. A large sold white dragon with incredibly large wings, spikes on its tail. The dragon stood almost as tall as Bumblebee or Arcee, it roars at any intruder that is in the area.
Snotlout head stood out from the snow pile, he gasps when he sees the dragon standing over him, it sniffs for prey. It roars at Snotlout's face as if he is there, but it still sniffs the air, like it can't see him, in its vision everything is green, like it hunts by smell and body heat.
The Viking prince says to his dragon: "Toothless, warning shot." With that Toothless plasma blast over the head of the Snowrath, Stormfly, Hookfang and Smokescreen joins in. Smokescreen says to the Arctic dragon, it turns from Snotlout to the two dragons and Autobot elite. Snotlout exclaims triumphant: "Ah!" But then more snow falls on top of him.
The other dragons tries to fire at the snow colored dragon but misses and hits the snow pile he and Toothless are in. "Cease fire! Cease fire!" The dragon swoops past Stormfly which causes her to get spooked, tilt side ways and causes Astrid to fall of her dragon on the side of a cliff. But she latches on to the wall with both hands, she calls for her dragon who lowers her tail and Astrid jumps onto the tail and uses the spikes like a latter.
As for Smokescreen he aims and shoots at the beast who dodges all the attacks, then it reaches up to Smokescreen and whacks him with his tail knocking him down and scratching the paint job .
Hiccup fed up with the Snowrath says: "Alright. I just about had enough with this dragon, bud." He spoke regarding his thin patients, and turns to Toothless. "Do your thing." To which the Night Fury echo roars at the Snowrath, which stuns it in place in the air. "Toothless now, multiple blasts!" With that Toothless fires multiple shots at the dragon who dodges them, but some snow falls on the white dragon's head.
The dragon sees its prey can fight back better, it is force to make a tactical retreat, so it flies upwards into storm. "I think it's gone. Everybody okay?" He asks his teammates, "Everybody here?" To which Ruffnut answers in the form of a question: "What do you mean by here?"
Then his cousin who dug himself out of the snow says to his cousin also in the form of a question: "I have a question, Hiccup; what is exactly your plan for getting a Snowrath tooth? Take it out of one of our dead bodies?" Tuffnut says regarding Snotlout's sarcastic question: "If all goes well, it be Ruffnut's dead body. And the Wrath tooth."
Bulkhead says to his friend: "We should call for reinforcements. We can't find Bee, and this dragon is tougher than nails." Hiccup replies to Bulkhead's advice: "As much as I agree with you, the storm is still causing interference." He explains. Then Gothie walks up and started to scribble in the snow.
Fishlegs reads it openly: "She says; 'We should have fled when we had the chance'." They hear the beast's roar once again, it sounded like it was coming from all directions. They are unable to see their foe, who blends perfectly with the snowy terrain.
On Berk, another patient for Doctors Ratchet and Bulkhead to cure and heal. This one particular sick Viking literally takes off his helmet and throws up in it.
Gobber says to reassure the man: "Don't you worry Agnar. I've see her whip this stomach cure up a thousand times." Ratchet says to his friend who's holding multiple jars of the ingredients: "Uh, shouldn't you measure the amount of the ingredients before you…" but it was too late, Gobber purposely drops the jar of ingredients in a pot, then he picks up a cup of another ingredient and openly says: "One dab of eye of yak." To which he tip on drop of the eye of yak. Then he begins to question the amount of the ingredient. "Would that be one eye or a dab of an eye?" Then he elbows hits a cup of another ingredient that spills green liquid into the pot, he stops it, and nervously laughs a bit, but the sick Viking isn't paying attention.
Ratchet says to Gobber in a soft tone: "Gobber, you should restart the cure. There's no telling what this could do to him." The Blacksmith replies to the Autobot medic: "Ho, what the wo…" then he sneezes into the pot of the medicine. The medical officer says to him: "Ho, Gobber you definitely need to stop and start over. If anything you're going to make him even more sick." Gobber reassures him: "I'm sure it'll be fine."
He scups up a cup of the 'cure' and gives it to him: "Drink this three a day, and come back and see me if it doesn't kill you." To which the man gasp in fear. "I'm just kidding." He said as the man leaves, "Hopefully." He said to himself.
Ratchet reassures him: "If you feel worse please come to me and I'll help you." He said to the man. Then he turns to Gobber who nervously chuckles.
Returning to Glacier Island, Bumblebee was beginning to come out of status lock, Tigertron sees this, so he transforms into beast mode and leaves the cave just as the Autobot scout regains his motor control and rubs his head while getting up. ("Ho, Primus of Cybetron. What happened to me? And how did I get here?"). He beeps questioning how he ended up in a cave, he exits seeing the sun. (I hope the rest of the gang's okay. I need to find them and quick before another storm comes."). With that he transforms into vehicle mode and drives off.
As for the Dragon Riders, the dragon block the snow with their wing in a circle like they did years ago. Snotlout speak regarding the Snowrath: "Okay, that thing was narley." Smokescreen speaks as well: "Narely? That dragon was tougher than anything we fought in the past." He said as he rubs his scar paint job.
The Vikings prince asks his friend: "Astrid, you okay?" Astrid exclaims but also feels cold: "Yep! Barely!" Then the large body Viking speaks: "Hiccup, you know I want a shot at this as badly as you. But maybe we should get out of here. We're sitting ducks out here in the storm." The Autobot Wrecker agrees with Fishlegs: "Normally, I don't walk away from a fight. But this dragon has a home-field advantage, if anything, we should retreat, and come back with reinforcements." He stated what they should do and comeback more prepared.
"W-wait a minute. What did you just say?" Asked Hiccup, to which his cousin answers: "He said we're sitting ducks. And for once I agree with him." Bulkhead says in an impressed tone: "Wow. Took him 19 years to agree with Fishlegs but worth it." He spoke as Hiccup turns around to think.
Hiccup mutters the words 'sitting ducks' then comes to a conclusion and says: "Yes, yes, yes! That's exactly what we need to be." Astrid questions her leader's plan: "Excuse me?!" The Viking prince turns around and continues to speak: "What if, we could make the Snowrath thinks it can sees us when we're really not here?" He stated his plan.
"You can make yourself invisible?" Asked the male twin. "Why does he get to do all the cool stuff. I just use to sit here with you as a sister." Snotlout growing annoyed by the twins stupidity even for him and he annoyingly asks: "Can you two be quiet for 10 seconds?"
Then Hiccup explains very thoroughly: "Tuff's not that far off. Look the Snowrath, didn't have any trouble seeing us. Until Snotlout got buried in the snow. And Gothie said it couldn't find her, when it fell into a snowbank." He stated, to which now makes sense. "That's because it sees body-heat. In the same way Toothless can find things with sound. We'll use this to our advantage to confuse it. Then while it's distracted we net it and get that tooth." He spoke of his plan of what they should do.
The female warrior walks up to Hiccup and speaks to him: "And you're sure it will work?" He vaguely answers the question of his plan. "Of course not." Said Astrid. Snotlout says to his cousin for not having a fool proof plan: "I hate you." He simply spoke in a bit of anger. "You know that." To which Hiccup acknowledges his cousin's words and feelings: "Yes, I'm aware of that. Alright gang, let's get to work." He told as they set their trap.
Time passed and they made decoy dummies of themselves including Smokescreen and Bulkhead. In a distance the Dragon Riders hid in a small narrow crack and the Autobots were coated in snow. "Pretty good. Now if I'm right, we light these on fire, and Snowrath will think they're us and attack. Then Bulkhead and Smokescreen will emerge from the snow grab hold of it." He said of the clever deception, of using the dragon's own senses against him.
But the muscular Viking protests: "Wait! Look how realistically gorgeous my statue is. I can't under good conscience set that into flames." He spoke of his decoy dummy that stood in place, then the head flew off. Astrid says dryly to him: "I'll work through the pain, and do it for you." She spoke not really caring for the statue Snotlout, but he thought she cared enough to which he says: "Wow! You do that for me Astrid?"
Hiccup speaks to his dragon: "Alright Toothless. Light em up." With that the Night Fury steps up and fires shots twice at the statues lighting them all up.
The teams wait patiently for the wild snowrath's attack. Snotlout removes his hemlet as a sign of respect for his statue who died in the line of duty. Theb he spoke like a poet to commemorate his statue's flaming self: "Somewhere in the world, a silent tear was just cried." Smokescreen says through his comlink to Snotlout: "Don't worry buddy, least it died for a good reason. It makes you feel any better. He died like a soldier." He reassures his friend's dummy's sacrifice would not be in vain.
A couple of minutes passed and no sign of the dragon, Fishlegs begins to doubt this plan and says: "Hiccup, I don't know it…" the Viking prince interrupts him: "Wait, look!" The Snowrath appears circling around the dummies, "Okay, next time it comes in, we go."
The Snowrath, now targets one of his supposed prey and goes for the headless Snotlout dummy even taking the none burning head. This angers Snotlout, who says openly: "Oh, no you did not!" This causes him to give Hookfang a signal to light himself on fire. But this causes the ice surrounding them to melt.
Toothless felt the melting ice dripping on his head, he looks up notice the ice is melting so he pulls Hiccup out of the hidden cave just as the ice falls down blocking it, leaving the other riders trapped along with Gothie. Snotlout bangs on the ice wall. "Hookfang get over here, now!" He yells as Gothie also hits the ice wall with her walking stick.
Outside Toothless unfolds his wings, Hiccup says to him: "Thanks bud." Sees the snowrath coming towards them. "Toothless, look out!" As they duck, as it swoops past them. "If it can see our body heat, than we are way to easy a target out here." Then he receives a signal, he presses his ear, "Go ahead."
Bulkhead asks: "Is it time to set the trap?" The Viking prince answers: "Yeah. Come out." With that both Autobots emerges, from the snow. Bulkhead asks not seeing the rest of the team: "Hey, where is everybody?" Hiccup points and says: "They're trapped in the cave. But we still have to get the Snowrath."
With that, the Viking prince, two Autobots and Night Fury walks to the center where the dummies are. "This should even the odds a little. It won't be able to make us out with the heat of these fires." Smokescreen asks: "Shouldn't we get the rest of the team? I mean there's strength in numbers." Bulkhead points out: "Normally you're right Smoky. But given the situation, I think it's better to have a small team instead of a large number of people." With that they stood ready to fight. Hiccup says to his dragon: "Alright, do your thing bud." With that Toothless uses sonic scream to create echo location in the storm.
"Easy bud. Nothing. Where is he?" Asked Hiccup to which Smokescreen says theories why it isn't showing: "Maybe it wise up and started to leave." But he spoke too soon, for the dragons was coming down from above seeing the different heat signatures both the flaming dummies, the real human and dragon and two Autobots.
They were unaware, till it swoops down from behind, Hiccup's dragon kept using echo location, till they turn around too see it, and running pass them is Gothie, and uses her walking stick as a weapon.
"Gothie, no!" But the elderly Viking has a score to settle, she hits the wild dragon with her walking stick, with one more swing, this causes the dragon which causes him unable to retaliate.
The Autobot Wrecker comments her: "Her body may be old, but she's got a spirit of a person half her age." Hiccup says to the dragon and three Autobots: "Toothless plasma blast and Smokescreen, and Bulkhead use your boom weapons. But be careful not to hit the crazy little woman with the staff." With that they all fire hitting the dragon but not Gothie who looses her grip and is tossed into the snow.
The group stops from attacking till, the Snowrath is hit by fire, coming from Hookfang and Snotlout boasts: "Oh, yeah! That's right! Snotlout got us out of the snow." But Astrid walks up and points out: "Yeah, and you're also the one who got us buried in there to begin with." The muscular Viking brush it off: "Details."
The dragons and their riders surrounded the beast and coming from behind the Snowrath is Bumblebee, in vehicle mode who transforms and beeps: "What did I miss?" Astrid asks him: "Bee, where have you been?" The Autobot scout replies: ("It's a long story but I'll explain later."). Soon the Dragons and Autobots borage the beast till finally it's surrounded all over. Hiccup speaks: "Ok, we have him surrounded. Now let's get that tooth." He spoke but the dragon manages to fly away. "No! We can't loose him."
Tuffnut speaks differently: "Actually, he lost us." Astrid speaks as well: "Hiccup, we should get out of here." But Hiccup replies refusing to give up: "Not yet. This isn't over." As he speaks Gothie taps on his shoulder armor. "Not now Gothie." He turned to her and back to the team. "Gang, we came here for a Snowrath tooth…" she taps on him again. "I said in a minute Gothie." He returns to the team. "And we're not leaving here, till w…" he turns to her again. "Gothie…" he stops to see the tooth on her staff. "Oh a tooth. A tooth!" He exclaimed in joy as he removed the tooth from the staff.
After returning to Berk, Hiccup held the Dragon Eye at the shop, where Ratchet and Gobber are. "So Gobber, Ratchet, how was it being Gothie?" Asked by the prince to which the Blacksmith answers: "Oh, I didn't get to wallop any body with my staff…" Ratchet interrupts and says: "Gobber, has violated several code of ethics, as well as code of hygiene. Some of the medicine he used were either removing of body parts or nearly burned some with an injured foot." He quickly answered regarding Gobber's incompetence with medicine, which everyone especially Gothie.
Gobber says to Ratchet: "Way to, throw me under the wagon." The Blacksmith said, but the Autobot medic replies: "Well, I'm sorry. But some of the patients needed real medical help I had to fix half of them. I doubt you did anybody favors or healed them for that matter." He spoke with sincere in his voice.
Then the bald man who vomited in his helmet yells: "Gobber! Gobber I must have more of that potion you made, earlier!" Gobber has a smug expression on his face with his arms crossed of satisfaction. Gobber as the man: "So, it cured your stomach ailments didn't it?" But Agnar throws, which disgusts both the Blacksmith and Autobot medic. "Far from it. But it did cure something else." He removes his helmet to show a single hair on his head. "It's made my hair grow back!" He said with joy in his voice.
Snotlout congratulates him and pats him on the back: "Congrats Agnar! You're look so…" but the man vomits again. "Good." Snotlout finishes in the sentence. Gobber says to him: "Well at least you got one of the side effects." He spoke too soon for it would seem Agnus went to the bathroom in his pants. Everyone didn't like the smell.
Smokescreen jokes: "It would seem he had an oil leak in his pants." He said but not many people knew what he meant by. Hiccup says to his mentor: "Ew! (Coughing) Well, Gobber just you and Ratchet whip up some more of that potion you made."
But the blacksmith replies to his student: "Eh…well…it was, very complicated…and…and I'm retired. Gothie why don't you and Ratchet take this one?" The village elder bags him on the head as he and Agnar leaves who's still soiling his pants.
The prince asks his friend Gobber: "You really have no idea, what was in that position do you?" Gobber answers with complete honesty: "No. Not a drop." Ratchet adds: "And you don't want to know what he did add into it." Gobber still feels like he's being thrown under the wagon by Ratchet. But he turns to Hiccup as he gives the tooth: "But, here's your key."
With the tooth key in hand he puts it into the key hole, twists it, and nothing happens. Snot annoyingly asks: "We almost died, for that?" Hiccup in disbelief picks it up and says: "T-there's gotta be more to it than that. It just doesn't make any sense." Tuffnut says to him: "Welcome to my world sister. Nothing makes sense and you have itchy teeth." He returns to scratching his teeth.
Later into the night, Hiccup is in his room he was still trying to figure it out the Dragon Eye. Then he feels sleepy and says: "Alright, That's it. (Yawning) I'm calling a night. Maybe tomorrow." He walks to his bed. "Fresh eyes." He was very tired and sleepy as was Toothless who creates a fiery circle to warm himself, as he does the lens in Dragon Eye begins to glow.
Hiccup sees a small hologram projection, he sees it focusing as it begins to make shapes. He turns to Toothless whose flames' light is causing it to glow.
He gets up, then picks up the Dragon Eye and a stool. He walks to the center of his room. "Toothless, come here." His dragon gets up, walks to him, Hiccup places the Dragon Eye on the stool. "Do that again, bud. Give me a low flame." They were kneeled down, and Toothless opens his mouth creating a small flame in his mouth, the hologram projection was larger, this shocked Hiccup to see the writing, images and descriptions on it. "This changes everything." He said, for their adventures wasn't ending. If anything their adventure was just beginning.
In the Autobot base, Bumblebee was in the medical bay as Ratchet was tending to him, Bulkhead and Smokescreen. The medical officer asks the Scout: "What happened to you out there Bumblebee?" To which he answers: ("To be honest I don't know. One moment I was on the ridge top then I went into status lock and I would've died. Then I reactivated in a cave. I don't know how I got there. Like someone who carried there."). The group was confused, by this new. Bulkhead says to him: "Bee that's impossible." Smokescreen agrees with his friend: "Bulk's right. There were no human or sentient inhabitants on Glacier Island." Ratchet comes up with a theory: "Well if there were no humans, but what about Cybertonian?" He asked, of a possible.
The Autobot elite is still in disbelief: "How can that be? If there were other Cybertroians, why didn't they come to us? If it was a Decepticon, he wouldn't risk to save Bee." Bulkhead agrees with Smokescreen. Ratchet speaks of a possible: "What if he was a neutral member? He could've helped on his own free will. But chooses to hide. For what reasons, I don't know." He spoke of a theory.
After returning from his scouting patrol, Tigertron rejoins the Maximals, Optimus walks up to him and asks: "What have you to report?" The Tiger Maximal answers: "I saw the Autobots with the humans, searching a dragon called a Snowrath. I also encountered the Autobot scout named Bumblebee. He was in Status lock and could've frozen to death." He explains himself. "I had to rescue him, I dragged him into a cave and let him thaw him to save him." Optimus Primal gives his friend a serious look of what he did.
Tigertron speaks to his leader: "I know we're not supposed to interfere with the past, but I couldn't just let him die." But Optimus Primal says to him: "You did the right thing Tigertron. As long you weren't seen." He nods yes for he wasn't seen. "Now remember everyone, we cannot be seen, or risk changing history." He said to all the Maximals for they know one tiny act can have dire consequences to the timeline. But they also know the Autobots and their human allies are drawing closer with each new place they discover.
