Once upon a time there was an evil witch named Malmura who wanted to take over the kingdom of Luxteria, she along with her henchmen and her army of monster beasts attacked the kingdom of Luxteria. They took the king prisoner, his daughter Princess Purin managed to escape with the help of a knight and an apprentice knight. Princess Purin had some monster friends who went to a school that is now known as Grimwood, they went to ask her for help to recover their kingdom but what they did not know is that the witch Malmura knew where they were going. The witch sends a group of monster beasts after the princess, Princess Purin's monster friends along with their teachers managed to defeat the monster beasts but their school was reduced to ashes, they swear revenge on Malmura. They decide to help Princess Purin recover her kingdom, the group was heading to the city of Mysthiciti where the monster council was located, on their journey they face all kinds of difficulties but they manage to enter the city and speak with the monster council. The Monster Council granted the Grimwood girls the legendary weapons that belonged to the ancient knights who founded the city of Mysthiciti. With them, they had the power to transform into knights. They went to the kingdom of Luxteria and, with the help of the great legendary monsters, were able to defeat the witch Malmura and the great hellbeast Malumna. The Grimwood girls were praised as heroes for saving the kingdom, and as a reward, King Arthur Regis, who used to hate monsters, decreed that from that day on, monsters were welcome in his kingdom. It was the beginning of a new place where humans and monsters could live together. The king also gave them money so they could rebuild their school. Their school was rebuilt, and the monster knights returned. From that day on, they were known as the Avengers of Grimwood. They would face any threat that arose and save monsters and humans alike. Three months had passed since those events. Peace had returned, and everyone enjoyed their peaceful days, but a new enemy was about to emerge. In a prison called The Hell Pit, where the worst criminals were held, it was a place located underground. The former henchmen of the evil witch Malmura were imprisoned there. Arawn, Machili, and Nameless were all three locked together in a cell with their legs chained to the wall, sitting on the floor.
"This is a disaster," said Nameless.
"We're locked up in this cell 24 hours a day. They don't even let us see the sunlight. If this keeps up, I'm going to go crazy," said Arawn.
Machili stood up and started pacing.
"I can't stand being here anymore! I want to get out and get revenge on those monster girls!" Machili shouted.
The guard heard Machili's screams and went to her cell. The guard was a golem made of stone.
"Calm down, prisoner!" "Or do you want me to reduce your food allowance?" the golem guard asked.
Machili calmed down and sat back down, and the golem guard left. The prisoners received three meals a day.
"The food is disgusting anyway," Arawn said.
"Yes, but it's all there is. I can't starve to death, I need food," Machili said.
Nameless suddenly got angry and threw a tantrum.
"Aaahhh! I have to get out of here to take revenge on those who defeated my mistress," Nameless said.
The three had learned from the guards that Malmura had been defeated by the Avengers of Grimwood. Even though Malmura had abandoned Nameless to her fate, he still remained loyal to her.
"You better calm down, Nameless, or you'll attract the guards' attention," Arawn said.
"How can you be so calm?" "It's like you've given up," Nameless One said.
"I didn't give up. I simply recognize when I've lost," Arawn said.
"What?" Nameless One asked.
"What are you talking about, Arawn?" Machili asked.
"This prison was built by the Council of Monsters to contain the worst criminals there have ever been. There are vampires, werewolves, wraiths, and everything in between. The guards are golems who patrol 24 hours a day. Since they're made of stone, they don't need to eat or sleep; they're the perfect guards. There's no way to escape this prison," Arawn replied.
"Must there be a way to escape?" Nameless One asked.
"There isn't. The only way out is for someone to come and get us out, but who wanted to come and free us?" Arawn asked.
Suddenly, a loud crash was heard coming from the prison.
"What was that?" Nameless asked.
The sound of a fight could be heard in the hallway; the guards were fighting someone.
"Stop him!" said a golem guard.
"Don't let him free the prisoners!" said another golem guard.
They couldn't see who it was, but the golem guards were being destroyed by someone. They heard the sound of the cells being forced open. They could see the prisoners escaping down the hallway. The three stood up and approached the cell to get a closer look.
"Who's freeing the prisoners?" asked Arawn.
Suddenly, a spider monster appeared in front of them. The spider monster had a white face, four black eyes, two spider fangs between its sharp teeth. The fur on top of its head was black, its skin was dark gray, its body was corpulent, it had four arms with huge stings on its wrists, and four spider legs on its back.
"Are you Malmura's henchmen?" asked the spider monster.
"Yes," replied Nameless.
"Who are you?" asked Machili.
"My name is Tarantel. It's your lucky day. My mistress loves you three," replied Tarantel.
"Who is your mistress?" asked Arawn.
"My mistress is Tirannica, the spider queen," replied Tarantel.
Tarantel used his strength to remove the cell and then enter it, destroying the shackles on the three's legs.
"Follow me if you want to get out of here," said Tarantel.
Arawn, Machili, and Nameless, seeing they had no other choice, followed Tarantel. All the prisoners escaped from the Hell Pit that day; it was the beginning of something that was about to happen.
In the castle where the monster council was located, they were having a meeting. At that moment, Keli interrupted, entering the room; she was very upset. "Emergency! Emergency! This is serious!" Keli said.
"Calm down, Keli, and tell us what's going on," Camila said.
"The prisoners of the Hell Pit have escaped," Keli said.
The council of monsters was shocked to hear that.
"What did you say?" Drusilla asked.
"All the prisoners have escaped from the Hell Pit, none remain," Keli replied.
"But it's impossible. The Hell Pit was built so no prisoners can escape," Eris said.
"Well... technically they didn't escape. Someone came in and freed them," Keli said.
"Freed them? Who?" Justine asked.
"I don't know, but all the Golem guards were destroyed," Keli replied.
"So it's not just someone ordinary." Keli! Notify the guards, have everyone search for the escaped prisoners," Spectra ordered.
"Yes, ma'am," Keli said.
Keli bowed and left the room.
"We need to investigate who's behind this," Drusilla said.
"Some of those prisoners are quite dangerous," Camila said.
"If things get bad, then we'll have to call in..." Eris couldn't finish her sentence.
"The Grimwood Avengers. They'll definitely help us," Drusilla said.
Drusilla interrupted Eris.
"You've been late," Eris said.
The council of monsters was prepared to call in the Grimwood Avengers if they needed them.
In the kingdom of Luxteria, peace had returned. The reconstruction after the attack was complete, and the city had returned to what it was before. Monsters were now allowed into the city. At first, people disliked having monsters in the city, but over time, they grew accustomed to them. Some monsters had even set up stalls in the city.
At one of those stalls, a family of cyclopses was selling their things.
"Come closer, come closer. For today only, we're selling telescopes for 10 silver coins," said the cyclops.
The cyclops was showing off the products he had for sale; some came closer to look. At the corner of a store, a woman was unloading the baskets of vegetables she had for sale from a cart. Three masked people in black clothes emerged from the shadows and stole the woman's three baskets. The thieves fled. The woman watched as they took her baskets.
"Help! He's robbed me! Someone help me!" the woman screamed.
The woman was crying out for help; the thieves were fleeing through the market. At that moment, Marcus appeared, blocking their escape route.
"Stay still. Return the baskets and surrender peacefully," Marcus said.
The thieves lowered the baskets and drew their swords.
"Looks like it'll be the hard way," Marcus said.
Marcus draws his sword, and the robbers attack him. Marcus blocks all their attacks, striking one of them in the stomach with the handle of his sword and then in the neck, knocking him unconscious. The other two attack Marcus together. He defends himself with his sword, making a circular motion with his sword to disarm a robber, then grabs a box, strikes one of them, and knocks him unconscious. Only one robber remains; Marcus and he are facing each other. Marcus backs away, and the robber follows him. Marcus stops retreating. The robber raises his sword high to attack him, but it gets stuck on a board. He can't draw it. Marcus had purposely guided him in that direction, taking advantage of the fact that he couldn't draw his sword. Marcus goes and points his gun at him.
"Don't move," Marcus said.
The robber raises his hands in surrender. Marcus had defeated the three of them. The guards arrive to take the robbers away.
"Take them away," Marcus said.
The guards arrested the three thieves. Marcus sheathed his sword, went over, and grabbed the three baskets they had stolen to return them. The owner of the baskets approached him.
"Let me help you carry your baskets, ma'am," Marcus said.
"Thank you very much," the lady said.
Marcus carried the baskets to the lady's cart and placed them there.
"Everything's ready, you may continue," Marcus said.
"I don't know how to thank you," the lady said.
"I'm just doing my duty," Marcus said.
The lady grabbed the cart and took her vegetables to her shop. Marcus felt good about being able to help her.
"Just as I would expect from the second-in-command in the knightly order," Helena said.
Helena came walking up behind Marcus.
"I want to help as many people as possible to be worthy of the position I've been given," Marcus said. Marcus had been named second-in-command in the knightly order for helping save the kingdom of Luxteria.
"Is everything okay between people and monsters?" Helena asked.
"There may be fights from time to time, but nothing we can't handle," Marcus replied.
"People don't change that easily," Helena said.
"Yes, but as second-in-command, I'll make sure Luxteria becomes a kingdom where humans and monsters can coexist," Marcus said.
"By the way, how are they?" Helena asked.
"I haven't seen them in a while. They're busy with school," Marcus replied.
"It seems they've gone back to their old lives," Helena said.
"But if a new threat arises, I know we can count on them," Marcus said.
"Let's hope that doesn't happen," Helena said.
"To ensure that, we have to continue our work. Knight Helena, return to patrol," Marcus ordered. Helena salutes.
"Yes, sir!" Helena said.
Helena went off to patrol the city.
"I wonder what they're doing now?" Marcus asked.
Marcus returned to his patrol. There was much to do if they wanted to maintain this coexistence between monsters and humans.
At the new school for monsters, now called Grimwood, the heroines who saved the kingdom of Luxteria were in math class; the one teaching it was Aurelia.
"Okay, girls. Who can solve this problem?" Aurelia asked.
Aurelia had posted a math equation on the board. Sitting in their seats were Sibella, Winnie, Tanis, Elsa, Ghost, Amelia, Felicia, Goblina, and Marcy. All of them had defeated the evil witch Malmura.
"I know," Amelia replied.
Amelia raised her hand so she could answer.
"What's the answer?" Aurelia asked.
"The answer is 21," Amelia answered.
"Correct," Aurelia said.
"How do you always know the answer?" Felicia asked.
"Because I study every day," Amelia answered.
"Girls, pay attention. Math is useful for many things, but learning it can be a little difficult. You have to study hard every day to use it," Aurelia said.
"Math is difficult," Felicia said.
"Yes, I'd rather be fighting some villain," Goblina said.
"I don't think so. Things have been quiet lately," Sibella said.
"Be thankful you haven't had to use your powers since that day," Aurelia said.
Since defeating Malmura, the Grimwood girls haven't had to transform into their knight forms.
"You should enjoy this peace you've found," Aurelia said.
Aurelia approached the window.
"Don't you smell that peace in the air? Wouldn't you like it to continue like this forever?" Aurelia asked.
"We like this peace. I just wish something exciting would happen," Felicia replied.
"Everything has been so boring. I'm a warrior, I need action," Goblina said.
"Mom," Amelia called.
"Teacher. When I'm teaching, call me teacher," Aurelia said.
"Okay, Teacher," Amelia said.
"Yes?" Aurelia asked.
"How have things been in Luxteria?" Amelia asked.
"Everything's going great. Since they saved his kingdom, the king is slowly turning it into a place where monsters and humans can live in peace," Aurelia replied.
"I'm glad to hear that," Winnie said.
"How do you think Purin is doing? We haven't seen her in a while," Tanis said.
"As princess of the kingdom of Luxteria, she must be busier than ever now that her kingdom is letting monsters in," Aurelia said.
"That's our friend," Elsa said.
"I hope everything goes well for her," Ghost said.
"Yes, let's hope everything goes well for her." "Let's go back to math class," Aurelia said.
Aurelia returned to the blackboard to continue with the lesson. Sibella looked out the window.
"Good luck with your duty as a princess, Purin. If a new threat presents itself, we'll come to help you." Sibella's thoughts.
The girls continued with their lesson, unaware that a new enemy was about to appear.
Elsewhere, in an area called Death Valley. A place where there was no vegetation whatsoever, only miles of dirt wastelands, lakes with filthy water, mountains, and the never-ending sunlight. At the top of a mountain was a huge cave shaped like a skull. Inside that cave were the prisoners who had escaped from the Hell Pit; they had been taken there by Tarantel. They walked through the cave, guided by Tarantel.
"What is this place?" Nameless asked.
"Who are they?" Machili asked.
Throughout the cave, there were many white humanoid spider monsters watching the prisoners of the Hell Pit advance. Tarantel made the prisoners of the Hell Pit stop in front of what appeared to be a throne at the top of some stairs. Someone was sitting on the throne, but they couldn't see who it was. Tarantel kneeled in front of the person sitting on the throne.
"Mistress. I have brought the prisoners from the Hell Pit as you ordered," Tarantel said.
"Excellent," said the figure sitting on the throne.
The one sitting on the throne emerged from the shadows. She was a humanoid spider woman, her skin dark blue, and her head had two horns. She had eight eyes, six small yellow spider eyes, and two dark green human eyes at the top of her nose. She had human teeth and four spider fangs in her mouth. She had four giant spider legs on her back, four arms with pointy fingers, and two legs. She was Tyrannica the spider queen.
"She must be the spider queen," Arawn said.
"Do you know her?" Nameless asked.
"I've heard stories about her," Arawn replied.
The spider queen and her army had conquered many kingdoms around the world and had earned a reputation for being feared by both humans and monsters. She was coming down the stairs and approached Nameless, Arawn, and Machili.
"So you three are the henchmen of the witch Malmura?" Tyrannica asked.
"Yes, we are," Arawn replied.
"Why did you free us?" Machili asked.
"Now you will know," Tyrannica replied.
Tarantel stood up and stood beside her mistress. The spider queen looked at the prisoners of the Hell Pit.
"For those who don't know me, I'm Tirannica, the spider queen," said Tirannica.
Upon hearing her name, the prisoners began to talk among themselves.
"Hey, who is she?" asked a werewolf.
"Have you never heard of the spider queen?" She's the most feared monster in the world, replied a vampire.
"Some time ago, I formed an army and began my rule across the world. I was defeated when I tried to conquer Transylvania, but now I'm ready to return and conquer the kingdom of Luxteria," said Tirannica.
"Did she say Luxteria?" asked Nameless.
"I have a proposal for all of you. Join me and let's conquer the world," said Tirannica.
The prisoners of the Hell Pit didn't like the idea of having to serve her.
"I'm in," said a prisoner.
The prisoners of Hell Pit turned to see who had said that. The one who had spoken came forward. The one who spoke was a dark wizard. He was an old man with a beard. He wore a black pointed hat with two small yellow pointed tips on the side, black shoulder pads with points at the edges, a dark blue robe with magical words engraved on it and a drawing of a yellow eye drawn on his chest. He wore black steel gloves. His skin was completely white and his eyes were blue. He carried a black magic staff with a drawing of a blue eye on the tip.
"My name is Marca. For my crimes, I was imprisoned for many years in the Hell Pit by the former leader of the Luxteria witches. I would like nothing more than to take revenge on them. With the help of my magic, I can help you conquer Luxteria," Marca said.
"Very well, welcome to our ranks, Marca," Tirannica said.
Marca had decided to join the spider queen, but the others remained undecided.
"Why should we join you?" Arawn asked.
Arawn stood with his arms crossed.
"Don't you want revenge on those who imprisoned you?" Tirannica asked.
"Our mistress also tried to conquer Luxteria and was defeated. What makes you think you can achieve what she couldn't?" Machili asked.
"Hahaha. That's right, Malmura. That silly witch was defeated by some monster children," Tirannica said.
Machili was angered by what the spider queen said. He loved his mistress very much, even though she was sometimes mean to him.
"How dare you mock my mistress?" Machili asked.
Machili wanted to attack the spider queen, but Arawn stopped him.
"Calm down," Arawn said.
Arawn knew Machili didn't stand a chance against the spider queen.
"I'm smarter than Malmura. Watch," Tirannica said.
Tirannica nodded to her spider monsters. They removed some sheets from the walls, revealing cells where some monster beasts were imprisoned.
"Monster beasts!" Machili said.
"I want you to pay attention to this. Bring a monster beast!" Tirannica ordered.
The spider monsters brought a bat monster beast out of its cell and led it tied up to their mistress.
"I want you to watch this very carefully; you'll find it very interesting," Tirannica said. The spider queen takes out a syringe with a strange purple liquid and injects it into the bat beast. It began to writhe, its body reacting to the liquid the spider queen injected. Suddenly, the bat beast became enormous, the size of a building, and began to fly around the cave. Everyone was shocked to see this.
"Hey, what did you inject it with?" Nameless asked.
"A small dose of my venom. Monster beasts' bodies begin to grow when they come into contact with it. Imagine having an army of monster beasts that size?" Tirannica asked.
With an army of such large monster beasts, the spider queen would be invincible. The prisoners began to think twice.
"Of course I'm going to need someone to tame them," Tirannica said.
Tirannica looked at Machili.
"Me?" Machili asked.
"You want to avenge your master, right?" Join me and you can take revenge on the girls who destroyed her, Tirannica said.
"Can I avenge Malmura?" Machili asked.
"You can avenge your master. You can all take revenge on those who imprisoned you. Imagine, all the power, all the evil you want to do, with no one able to stop you. Just join me and we'll take over Luxteria, Mysthiciti, all the kingdoms of the world. WHO WANTS TO CONQUER THE WORLD?!" Tirannica asked.
"ME!" The prisoners of the Hell Pit replied.
They were all excited; they had decided to join the spider queen.
"Interesting. I'll join her," Arawn said.
"I want to destroy the girls who defeated Malmura. I'll join her too," Machili said.
"I guess I'll join you too," Nameless said.
"I guess I'll join you too," Nameless said. The three of them would now cross over to the spider queen's side. The prisoners of the Hell Pit cheered the spider queen's name.
"She's got them, mistress," Tarantel said.
"Yes, fools are easily convinced," Tirannica said.
Marca applauded the spider queen.
"Bravo, wonderful. A simply splendid speech," Marca said.
"Marca, right? You should speak more to your new mistress," Tarantel said.
"I just wanted to show the spider queen what I'm capable of," Marca said.
"And what are you capable of?" Tirannica asked.
"Look!" Marca said.
With her magic, Marca made a crystal ball appear.
"With this crystal ball, we can see everything that happens in Luxteria and everywhere else," Marca said.
"Oooh. You have your tricks," Tirannica said.
"Great. Malmura also had a crystal ball that she used to see what was happening," Arawn said.
"But that's not all I can do. I can also use teleportation magic," Marca said.
"Teleportation magic?" Arawn asked.
"Tell me more about that magic," Tirannica said.
"I can go and take a limited number of people anywhere in the world," Marca said.
"Interesting, and about how many people can you teleport?" Tirannica asked.
"With my magic, the maximum number of people I can take is 100," Marca replied.
"I'd like you to demonstrate for me. Take one hundred of my spider soldiers to the kingdom of Luxteria," Tirannica said.
"At your service," Marca said.
"Come, soldiers!" Tirannica ordered.
Tirannica called for a hundred of her spider monsters.
"I want you to go to the kingdom of Luxteria and cause as much chaos as you can," Tirannica said.
Since the spider monsters couldn't speak, they nodded to their master.
"Do it," Tirannica ordered.
Marca began channeling her magic and used her teleportation spell on a hundred spider monsters to send them to Luxteria.
"It's done. In a few seconds, you'll be in Luxteria," Marca said.
"Now what?" Nameless asked.
"Now we relax and enjoy the show," Tirannica replied.
Marca showed everyone in the crystal ball what was about to happen in Luxteria.
In the throne room of the royal palace of Luxteria, the king was talking with some government officials. Princess Purin approached him holding some papers.
"Father," said Princess Purin.
"What's wrong, Purin? What are you holding in your hand?" asked Arthur Regis.
"I need you to sign these papers for me," replied Princess Purin.
"What are they?" asked Arthur Regis.
"They're documents that allow monsters to be residents of the kingdom. I wrote them myself," replied Princess Purin.
"Okay, I'll look at them when I have time," said Arthur Regis.
"It has to be now," said Princess Purin.
"Your daughter is always working so that monsters have a place in our kingdom," said an official.
"Yes," said Arthur Regis.
"Father!" said Princess Purin.
Princess Purin blushed.
"Leave us alone," said Arthur Regis.
The government officials left. The king approached his daughter and placed his hands on her shoulders.
"My goodness, I know you want to make monsters feel welcome in our kingdom, but there are other important matters I must address," Arthur Regis said.
"I know," Princess Purin said.
"Besides, even though monsters are now allowed access, Luxteria is still a kingdom for humans."
"I just thought..." Princess Purin trailed off.
"What?" Arthur Regis asked.
"If a law is made allowing monsters to live here, they would want to settle in this kingdom," Princess Purin replied.
The king laughed out loud.
"Don't laugh!" Princess Purin said.
Princess Purin blushed, and the king stopped touching her shoulders and stopped laughing.
"So that was it," Princess Purin said.
"It's just that I haven't seen them in a while, and I miss them," said Princess Purin.
Lately, Princess Purin hasn't been able to see her friends from Grimwood School because she's been so busy.
"I know you miss them, but they're busy with their studies, and you're busy with your duties as a princess," said Arthur Regis.
"My duties as a princess are important, but when will I have time to see my friends?" asked Princess Purin.
"Even if you can't see your friends, they know you're working for a better future for monsters, and they should be happy about that," replied Arthur Regis.
Princess Purin thinks about how much the kingdom has changed since her friends saved it from the evil witch Malmura. The people of Luxteria used to hate monsters; now they seem to enjoy living with them on the streets.
"I know you'll be able to see your friends, but in the meantime, keep working like you're doing," said Arthur Regis.
"I will. I will keep working hard," said Princess Purin.
The king and princess wanted their kingdom to be a good place for everyone.
On the streets of Luxteria, Marcus was patrolling.
"Hello," said Marcus.
He waved to some women who passed by; it seemed like today was going to be a good day. Suddenly, something happened. Magic circles began to appear around the kingdom, and spider monsters emerged from them.
"What the heck?" asked Marcus.
The spider monsters began attacking people and destroying everything. The kingdom was in danger.
King Arthur Regis and Princess Purin were in the throne room. Tristan came running to warn them of the attack.
"Your Majesty, there's trouble! The kingdom is under attack!" said Tristan.
"What did you say?" asked Arthur Regis.
The king and princess couldn't believe that the kingdom would be under attack again.
The spider monster army was causing chaos throughout the kingdom.
A woman who was running saw a spider monster appear in front of her.
"Aaaaah!" the woman screamed in terror.
The woman ran away, chased by the spider monster. They were hurting people, enclosing them in spiderweb hoods, and taking them away. They didn't just attack people; they also attacked the monsters in Luxteria. A group of spider monsters were destroying the Cyclops family's outpost.
"Hey, stop! What are you doing?" asked the Cyclops.
The Cyclops was trying to stop them from destroying his outpost. The spider monsters started beating him. His wife, holding their daughter in her arms, saw everything.
"Stop it! We were supposed to live in peace alongside humans!" said the Cyclops's wife.
The spider monsters didn't care about that. They only obeyed their mistress's orders.
Marcus and Helena, along with the other knights, had arrived to defend the people.
"Quickly, protect the people!" Marcus ordered.
"Yes, sir," said a knight.
The knights began to fight the spider monsters. Marcus and Helena fought back to back.
"Where did these spiders come from?" Helena asked.
"I saw them emerge from some magic circles," Marcus replied.
"Do you think there's another evil witch out there who wants to take over the kingdom?" Helena asked.
"For now, let's focus on saving the kingdom," Marcus replied.
Marcus and Helena continued fighting the spider monsters.
In Alador's castle, while he was working on signing some papers for the monster council, he saw his crystal ball begin to glow red.
"Looks like there's trouble," Alador said.
Alador approached to see what was happening in his crystal ball. His crystal ball showed him images of the kingdom of Luxteria being attacked by an army of spider monsters.
"Spider monsters?" "It must be her," Alador said.
Alador had an idea who was behind this.
"This is serious. I'd better call them. I'll use a telepathy spell to communicate with them," Alador said.
Alador uses a telepathy spell to communicate with the Grimwood Avengers. Since cell phones didn't exist back then, he had to call them with a telepathy spell.
At Grimwood School, the girls were still in their history class when they heard Alador's voice in their heads.
"Grimwood Avengers, can you hear me?" Alador asked telepathically.
"Alador, is that you?" Sibella asked.
"Dad?" Amelia asked.
"Dear, what have I told you about interrupting the girls while they're in class?" Aurelia asked.
"I'm sorry, but it's an emergency," Alador said telepathically.
"What's going on?" Winnie asked.
"The kingdom of Luxteria is under attack," Alador answered telepathically.
"What?" the Grimwood girls asked.
"Who's attacking it?" Tanis asked.
"The kingdom was invaded by an army of spider monsters," Alador answered telepathically.
"Spider monsters?" Elsa asked.
"You must go immediately to save him," Alador said telepathically.
"But you're in your math class right now," Aurelia said.
"This is of utmost importance," Alador said telepathically.
"Education is also very important," Aurelia said.
" "We can continue with the class later. Our friends who live in Luxteria need us," Ghost said.
"Fine, but I'll have extra homework for you when you get back," Aurelia said.
"I'll take you there using a teleportation spell," Alador said telepathically.
"We're ready," Amelia said.
"Be careful," Aurelia said.
"I'll be back to listen to the rest of your class," Amelia said.
A magic circle appeared on the floor, and the girls were teleported to Luxteria.
"I'm sorry, love," Alador said telepathically.
"No problem. It's their duty, after all. I just hope they come back," Aurelia said.
"They will, I'm sure," Alador said telepathically.
In the kingdom of Luxteria, the girls had already arrived with the teleportation spell. They saw how the streets were being invaded by spider monsters.
"Where did those spiders come from?" Felicia asked.
"I don't know, but we have to stop them," Goblina said.
"Come on, girls! Let's become knights!" Marcy said.
"Yes!" the Grimwood girls replied.
The Grimwood girls prepared to transform.
"TRANSFORMATION!" the Grimwood girls shouted.
A light of energy surrounded their bodies, transforming them into their knight forms.
"Hey, spider monsters, this way!" Sibella shouted.
The spider monsters stopped to see who had yelled at them.
"If you want to keep destroying everything, you're going to have to defeat us first!" Winnie said.
The spider monsters began to group together and stood in front of the Grimwood girls.
"It looks like they want a fight," Tanis said.
"Let's give it a go," Elsa said.
The girls prepared to make their introductions.
"The vampire knight. Sibella (Heroic Pose)," Sibella said.
"The fierce knight. Winnie (Heroic Pose)," Winnie said.
"The mummy knight. Tanis (Heroic Pose)," Tanis said.
"The strongest knight. Elsa (Heroic Pose)," Elsa said.
"The ghost knight. Ghost (Heroic Pose)," Ghost said.
"The undead knight. Amelia (Heroic Pose)," Amelia said.
"The cat knight. Felicia (Heroic Pose)," Felicia said.
"The goblin knight. Goblina (Heroic Pose)," Goblina said.
"The Golem Knight. Marcy (Heroic Pose)." Marcy said.
The Grimwood girls formed a circle and gathered their weapons.
"Monsters in the service of goodness and kindness. We are..." The Grimwood girls didn't finish their sentence.
They broke the circle and assumed a heroic stance.
"Grimwood's Avengers!" they all shouted.
The spider monsters charged at them.
"Let's go," Ghost said.
The Grimwood girls went to them. The fight had begun.
Sibella advanced, slashing the spider monsters with her sword. They threw webs at her to immobilize her.
"Disgusting," Sibella said.
She prepared to use her powers.
"SUMMON! BATS TO ME!" Sibella shouted.
A swarm of bats appeared and attacked the spider monsters. Sibella took the opportunity to brush the cobweb off herself.
"Now they'll see why I got my hair dirty," Sibella said.
Sibella began channeling energy into her sword, enveloping it in a blood-red aura. She charged straight at the spider monsters and, with the power of her sword, slashed them with several slashes. All the spider monsters were defeated; Sibella had won.
Winnie found herself surrounded by several spider monsters. She slashed at anyone who came near her with her claws. She began running in circles, slashing at several spider monsters, then stopped and growled. There were still many spider monsters left.
"How am I going to take on so many?" Winnie wondered.
At that moment, Felicia came bounding in and landed next to Winnie.
"You look like you're in trouble. Can I give you a hand?" Felicia asked.
"I was just thinking about a way to finish them off faster, but since you're here, let's finish them off together," Winnie replied.
The two began to channel energy into their bodies, enveloping themselves in an orange and gold aura.
"WOLF CLAWS!" Winnie shouted.
"FURY OF THE CAT GOD!" Felicia shouted.
Winnie took out half of the spider monsters with the power of her claws, and Felicia conjured a huge golden cat beside her, which took out the other half of the spider monsters. All the spider monsters were defeated; Winnie and Felicia had won.
Tanis found herself surrounded by spider monsters that were climbing the walls.
"Come down from there and fight," Tanis said.
Tanis prepared to use her powers.
"SAND TORNADO!" Tanis shouted.
Tanis conjured a sand tornado that knocked the spider monsters down to the ground.
"That's much better," Tanis said.
The spider monsters stood up; they were furious and wanted to attack Tanis. She began to channel energy into her body, enveloping herself in a white aura.
"AREA CHANGE! SOBEK'S CHAMBER!" Tanis shouted.
The place around them began to change. They were now inside a pyramid with crocodile geoglyphs on the walls. The spider monsters looked down. They were standing over a water well. Realizing this, they began to kick and then fell into the well. Tanis peered over the well.
"This is a historical injury. Sobek was the crocodile god of ancient Egypt," Tanis said.
The spider monsters didn't understand what Tanis was talking about. Suddenly, some crocodiles appeared in the well. They swam straight at the spider monsters to eat them. They got scared and started kicking.
"I can't watch this!" Tanis said.
Tanis covered her eyes, listening to the sound of the crocodiles eating the spider monsters. When the sound stopped, she returned the place to normal.
"Poor things, but they asked for it," Tanis said.
All the spider monsters were defeated; Tanis had won.
Elsa found herself facing some spider monsters. She went straight at them to hit them, but they climbed the walls to stay out of her reach. Elsa began to shoot balls of web from her mouth. Little by little, Elsa was covered in webs until she found herself trapped in a mass of webbing.
"Do you think their webs will stop me?" Elsa asked. Elsa begins to channel energy into her body, wrapping herself in lightning. An electric blast destroys the web that had her immobilized.
"Now you're next," Elsa said.
Elsa begins to channel her electric power into her gauntlets and throws lightning bolts at the spider monsters. The lightning bolts fry them, causing them to fall to the ground.
"That'll teach you," Elsa said.
All the spider monsters were defeated; Elsa had won.
Ghost was flying through the sky. She saw several spider monsters on the ground staring at her. The spider monsters threw web balls at her, but she became intangible so their attacks wouldn't hit her.
"Now it's my turn to throw a ball at them," Ghost said.
Ghost begins to channel energy into her body, wrapping herself in a light blue aura.
"BIG SNOW BALL!" Ghost shouted. Ghost used her ice powers to create a large snowball, which she threw at the spider monsters, crushing them all. The spider monsters were buried in snow. Ghost had won.
Amelia had just pierced a spider monster's chest with her scythe and threw its body at a group of spider monsters in front of her.
"Come on, I'll crush you all," Amelia said.
Amelia began channeling energy into her body, enveloping herself in a dark blue aura.
"UNDERWORLD HANDS!" Amelia shouted.
Giant skeletal hands emerged from the ground behind Amelia. She pointed them at the spider monsters. The skeletal hands extended toward them, and she began crushing the spider monsters until none remained. All the spider monsters were defeated; Amelia had won. Goblina was fighting some spider monsters. They threw their webs at her, but she used her flames to destroy them, slashing several of them with her sword. The spider monsters began to flee. She chased them. The spider monsters created a giant web to block her way.
"That won't stop me," Goblina said.
Goblina used her flames to burn the web. The spider monsters were trapped in a dead end.
"There's nowhere to escape," Goblina said.
Goblina increased the heat of her sword's flames and charged at them. She slashed them all with her sword until none remained. Goblina had won.
Marcy found herself facing some spider monsters.
"Come and get me," Marcy said.
Marcy turned her hands into giant fists, and the spider monsters charged at her. She begins to hit them one by one with her enormous fists. Marcy dodges balls of web thrown at her by spider monsters on top of some houses. She turns one of her arms into a cannon and starts firing clay balls at the spider monsters, knocking them down one by one. Then one last spider monster runs straight at Marcy. She turns her arm into a sword and cleaves the spider monster in two. All the spider monsters were defeated; Marcy had won.
The remaining spider monsters gathered in one place in front of the Grimwood girls.
"Okay, girls. Let's give them the finishing blow," Sibella said.
"Yes," the Grimwood girls said.
Marcy turned her hands into enormous missile-sized fists and pointed them at the spider monsters. The girls began to channel energy into their weapons, enveloping them in an aura of their respective colors. The girls prepared to attack all together.
"FINAL FLASH!" they all shouted.
Sibella, Winnie, Ghost, Amelia, Felicia, and Goblina launched a slashing blast. Tanis launched a laser beam from his staff, Elsa launched an electric beam, and Marcy launched her fists like two missiles. Their attacks combined, becoming a massive energy beam, destroying all the spider monsters. The Grimwood Avengers had won.
"We did it," Winnie said.
The people of Luxteria applauded the Grimwood Avengers. Marcus and Helena approached them.
"Good work," Helena said.
"They saved us again," Marcus said.
"It was nothing," Tanis said.
"Who sent those spider monsters?" Elsa asked.
"We have no idea," Helena replied.
"I saw them emerge from some magic circles," Marcus said.
"That means someone with knowledge of magic sent them," Ghost said.
"Not just anyone can cast a teleportation spell," Amelia said.
"Do you think it was another evil witch?" Marcus asked.
"Probably, although I have a feeling there's more to it," Felicia replied.
"What did you say?" someone asked.
The girls and Marcus watched a man argue with a goat monster.
"The monsters caused a mess again! We should never have accepted them into our kingdom!" the man said.
"Are you blaming us? We should never have come to live with humans!" the goat monster said.
That attack had caused a rift between humans and monsters.
"Oh no, I hope this doesn't cause a problem between humans and monsters," Goblina said.
"Don't worry, we'll figure it out," Marcus said.
"I hope it can be resolved," Marcy said. They had worked very hard to make Luxteria a place where humans and monsters could live in harmony, but the spider monster attack had caused humans and monsters to start fighting again.
In the city of Mysthiciti, in the hall where the monster council meets, Alador stood before them.
"Luxteria was attacked by an army of spider monsters. I thought I should tell you," Alador said.
"First the escape from the Hell Pit, and now the attack on Luxteria," Camila said.
"Someone must be behind this," Eris said.
"But who?" Justine asked.
Drusilla didn't say anything; she was thoughtful and looked a little nervous.
"What's wrong, Drusilla? You're so quiet," Spectra said.
"It can't be... Could it be her again?" Drusilla asked. Drusilla had an idea who was behind all this; she thought of someone from her past she hoped they'd never see again.
In Death Valley, in the spider queen's lair. Everyone saw what happened in Luxteria in Marca's crystal ball.
"Those girls defeated 100 spider soldiers?" Tarantel asked.
"Impressive. They're just as they told me," Tirannica said.
"Your army was defeated. What are you going to do now?" Machili asked.
"That doesn't worry me; there are many more where they came from. Besides, those girls seem like an interesting challenge; it will be fun to see what they're capable of," Tirannica said.
"Fun?" Nameless asked.
"I have my army, and now I have the prisoners of the Hell Pit on my side." Those girls won't be able to win every time. Sooner or later, they'll get careless, and when they do, I'll be there to savor their defeat," said Tirannica.
"You seem very confident," said Arawn.
"Of course. I'm the spider queen. There's no one who can defeat me. I will rule over humans and monsters. LOL," said Tirannica.
The spider queen laughed an evil laugh. Many challenges await The Avengers of Grimwood; this was just the beginning.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Do you think I should give The Grimwood Command its own series? If you give me ideas, maybe I will.
