Chapter 4: Heartache.

As Compa and Iffy slept, Toriel walked into their room and left two pieces of Butterscotch Cinnamon pie on the nightstand next to them while they slept. She leaves the room and closes the door, Toriel not saying much, just smiling, but as soon as the door closed, she lights up with a sad and lonely sigh. Toriel walks down the hall and to the stairs within her house which leads to a cellar and a very long hallway, which eventually leads to the last door of the ruins. Toriel sighs as she sits with her back on the final door. She heard steps coming from behind the door. She hears a female humming and a monster chuckling. Toriel lets out a smile at the girl's voice, "Good to hear from you again, child. Did you have a great birthday Frisk?"

Frisk's voice came from the other side. She sounded like a grown woman, "Yeah, my twenty-first birthday; I can't believe it has been seven years since I first fell down here."

Toriel began to cry tears of joy, "Hearing your voice, hearing that you are still here in this world does bring some comfort to mind some days."

The other voice that accompanied Frisk, chimes in, "Hey, Frisk can brighten anyone's day. Especially when she is "Frisking" around!"

All three laughed though Toriel had a weak laugh which caught Frisk's attention, "Hey, what is wrong?"

Toriel let out a long sigh, "Two human girls fell down to the underground a few days ago, and they just reached my home in record time."

The voice with Frisk asked, "There, not any dust is there?"

Toriel had one response "No"

Frisk Sighs in relief, "That is good to hear that they are not hostile."

The voice chuckles, "That makes four humans in The Underground, now."

Toriel asks, "That mysterious girl still has not woken up?"

Frisk responds, "No sadly. So strange she showed up on our doorstep and passed out. Asgore is getting desperate, and we had to hide her; I hope it was the right thing to do."

Toriel sighs and pauses for a long time, then spoke, "Frisk, Can you and my pun friend make me a promise?"

A long pause happened, and then both Frisk and the voice with her said, "OK."

Toriel sighed and holds her hands together, "If these two girls come out of these ruins, could you please watch over them, and protect them?"

Yet again, A long pause filled the air, and the voice suddenly chuckled, "Heh, I do like making promises, but the first one turned out pretty well, and I see no reason why this one should not be the same. Still got to air on caution though."

Frisk sighs, "Can't be too careful, but we will do our best. It is all I can do."

Toriel Smiled, "You can't see it through this door, but I am smiling beyond belief. You know, I would like to see the beautiful woman you grew up to be, Frisk."

The voice chuckles, "And the boys want to get "Frisky" with you Frisk."

Frisk laughed, "You silly skeleton. I am not into the boys in Snowdin."

The Skeleton laughed, "You know I am just pulling your "funny bone" Frisk."

Toriel laughs along with them, "Watch out she might have a bone to pick with you, my friend."

Frisk giggles beyond the door, "Yup you got a Skele-ton of reasons to worry."

The skeleton roars with laughter, "Man, I am so proud of you, and so is Paps, along with everyone in Snowdin."

Toriel added, "and so am I."

They all continue to make jokes for a while, until Frisk says, "Hey, I am sorry to cut this short, but we need to get back to Papyrus before he gets cranky."

The skeleton added, "And he would send the entire royal guard looking for us, and that would be a very big mess."

Toriel chuckled softly, "I see. Well, don't let me keep you from your duties."

"See ya around" The Skeleton was walking away from the door.

"Bye hope we get to do jokes again," Frisk announced as she was walking away, leaving Toriel alone again.

Toriel sigh and stands up. She walks away from the door and back to her home. As she walks up the stairs, she could hear Compa walking about, "My! My! Someone bright and early, guess better get the day started." Toriel walks up the stairs with a smile and helps prepare breakfast.

And then the heroines wake up...

The perspective shifts back to Iffy as she wakes at the smell of breakfast. "Man, I had a weird dream. Hey, is it just me, or has the narration just now shifted to me because of convenience?" Iffy chuckles to herself, "Well, I am not used to being in the spotlight, but I guess the situation calls for it." She sniffs the air, "Damn, that smells good! Hey! Where's Compa!?" Iffy got out of bed and stood up, and looked at her phone, "That was a full eight-hour sleep? That means we have been down here over two days, and that also means I gotta find where that Compa went!" She grabs her things, walks out of the room, and followed the trail of the scent of food, "If I know Compa! She is going to be where the food is coming from. Hey Compa, are you in the kitchen?"

Compa shouts from the table wearing a clothing protector, "There is breakfast, Iffy!"

Iffy giggles with her hand covering her mouth, "We are adults, yet sometimes I wonder if you just have a mindset of a kid, sometimes"

Toriel comes out from the kitchen with a huge pie she made, "I figured to wait till morning to give you this pie, rather than put it on your nightstand in the middle of the night." She gives them each a slice of pie.

Iffy looks at the pie and scratches her head, "Is it the butterscotch cinnamon pie, or cinnamon butterscotch pie?"

Compa raises her hands in victory, "Does it matter it is pie, and pie is food, and Compa is hungry! I want food, and yay for food!"

Toriel chuckles as she grabs her glasses and goes to sit on her chair to read a book, "You girls enjoy!"

Iffy sits at the table and grabs a fork, "I guess dig in" She takes a bite and blinks, "Oh, damn, this is good!"

Compa also takes a bite, "My, this is so good~ I need to get the recipe from her!"

Iffy finishes her slice of pie and stood up to stretch with a slight chuckle, "Wow, that was amazing! Anyways, guess I will look around this place, and try to find clues on how to get out of here."

Compa asks, "Hey, Ms. Tori may I get another piece."

Iffy shakes her head, "You and that stomach sometimes." Iffy chuckles as she temporarily leaves Compa and Toriel to chat. Iffy went down the hall to see another room. She entered the room and looked around, "Wow, this room is tidy! This must be Toriel's room." She looked at the bucket of snails that is close to the door, and the sight of it made her almost throw up, "A bucket of snails? Guess she was not kidding about making that snail pie. Oh, geez, I am going to be sick!" She quickly diverts her attention from the snails and towards Toriel's desk and chair. She noticed a name etched on the chair and chuckled, "Chairiel? Ok, now that is cute not going to lie about that one." She looks at Toriel's diary and picks it up. "Don't mind if I do, there must be something in here about an exit from this place. Though I wonder what dark secrets Toriel would have in a diary as well. Normally I would not do this, but I got to find any information on how to get out of here."

Iffy opens the diary, and reads some of the lines, "Why did the skeleton want a friend? Because he was feeling bonely!" Iffy continues to flip through the pages and sees it was all puns about skeletons.

Iffy slams the book on the desk, "Ugh! That was a waste of time! Neptune would love Toriel for sure that I will bet a million bucks on." Iffy looks around the room and sees a very large cactus in the corner and an even larger bed that is in the opposite corner, and right next to the bed is a bookshelf, "Now we are getting somewhere!" She walks up to the bookshelf and does not find anything about the monsters of the ruins but does find a useful encyclopedia about subterranean plant life, "Hmmm, might need to borrow this book for a while"

Iffy looks in the book and reads a sentence, "Typna is a group of subterranean plants that is on a group of wetland flowering plants with brown oblong seedpods known more commonly as water sausages. Good to know!" Iffy closes the book and puts it in her inventory, and looks through the drawers, "Ok. This is just a sock drawer, an underwear drawer, and a clothing drawer, which means there is nothing else useful in here" She leaves Toriel's room with a slight grunt of annoyance.

Iffy hears Compa shouting with enjoyment, "Ohhh my that is so easy! I never knew I can do that with cinininan and butterscotch!"

Toriel is heard laughing, "Oh dear Compa it is pronounced Cinnamon Cin-na-mon!"

Iffy could not help but snicker to herself, "Compa, you are such a dork sometimes, though learning recipes is something you have gotten better at nowadays. Especially with that banana pudding you made, you really have taken your cooking seriously these past few years. Now she got a delicious pie recipe." Iffy smirks as she goes to the end of the hallway and looks around commenting on what she is seeing, "Ok a room under renovation," She opens a lamp drawer, "A drawer full of sunflower seeds." She slightly slams it shut having the seeds remind her of that murderous flower. She sighs in defeat and walks back to the living room to see what Compa and Toriel are up to, "Hey guys, what are you doing now?"

"We are reading the 72 uses for snails?" Toriel responds.

Compa adds, "Snails can be used for pie, and eaten as food."

Iffy wanted to hurl, "I am going to the kitchen." She walks past them and quickly goes to the kitchen and was ready to barf until she saw the cinnamon butterscotch pie and was dumbfounded at how huge it was and half of it was gone, "Holy mackerel! That's a huge pie! And I thought the one she gave us was big" She looks at the stove, and with her insight, she says, "This stove must function with some kind of magic, I am assuming"

Iffy groans as she finds nothing useful in the kitchen, so she heads back to Toriel and Compa, who are still talking about snails and their uses. Iffy rolls her eyes at the ridiculous conversation and grabs a book from the bookshelf that is labeled The History of The Underground. She opens the book and reads, "Trapped behind the barrier and fearful of human attack, we retreated far, far into the caverns. We walked until we reached its end. This was our home, and our great king, who was pretty lousy with names, named it home."

Iffy not understanding what she just read spoke loudly, "Fearful of humans? A monster king? What the hell is going on here?"

Toriel nervously laughs as she tries to change the subject, "Um, Iffy and Compa, I want you girls to know how glad I am to have someone here."

Compa made happy puppy-dog eyes towards Toriel, "Aw, Thank you, Ms. Tori!"

Iffy slams the book shut, "You got to be kidding me."

Toriel ignoring Iffy, continues, "There are so many old books I want to show you and share. I want to show you my favorite bug-hunting spot."

Iffy eye twitches, "Hello? Toriel, are you even listening to me?"

Toriel keeps talking as if trying to avoid the subject, her eyes darting around nervously, "I've also prepared a curriculum here for your education. This may come as a surprise to you, but I have always wanted to be a teacher. Perhaps that isn't very surprising at all. Still, I am glad to have you girls living here."

Iffy snaps as she slams the book she was holding to the floor, "WE ARE NOT LIVING HERE!" This made Compa jump out of her chair in terror, and Iffy continues "Our home is Gamindustri, not this underground schoolhouse! We need to get back home where we belong and be with our friends and family!"

Compa tries to speak, "Calm down, Iffy. What got you so worked up all of a sudden?"

Toriel snaps her book close and sternly looks at Iffy "Young lady, do not give me that tone! Now be a good child and settle down."

Iffy yells at Toriel, "I am not a child! I am 23 years old, damnit! Why are you dodging my question? What are you hiding?"

An eerie silence fills the room as Iffy glares at Toriel with a frustrated look. Toriel sighs, and takes off her glasses, "I can see you are frustrated. Excuse me, I need to do something." Toriel gets up from her chair and leaves the room.

Iffy grumbles, "Typical, now where is she going." Iffy follows in pursuit.

"Iffy, don't be mad at Ms. Tori." Compa pleaded until she noticed Iffy was following Torel, "Wha!? Hey, where are you going!?"

Compa starts following Iffy, who is following Toriel. Toriel leads them to the staircase which leads to below the house and to a strange purple hallway, and she solemnly spoke, without turning around, "You wish to know how to return to your own home, do you not? Ahead of us lies the end of the ruins, a one-way exit to the rest of the underground. I am going to destroy it!"

Iffy was taken aback by this, "Wait, what? You are serious about keeping us here: to even go that far to destroy our only way out?"

Toriel walks forward, "No one would ever be able to leave again. Now, would you two go back upstairs?"

Iffy marches as she follows Toriel, "What is the point of what you are doing? Could you at least explain to us why you are doing this?"

Compa looks at the two worried, "I am sure Ms. Tori has a very good reason for why she is doing this."

Toriel answers the two girls, "Iffy, Compa, there is a reason why I am doing this. You see every human that falls down here meets the same fate. I have seen it again and again. They come. They leave, and they die. You girls are so naïve, if you leave the ruins, Asgore, the king of monsters will kill you. Do you two understand? I am only trying to protect you."

Compa stares directly at the floor, "Must be terrible."

Iffy sighed even though she was still agitated, "Toriel, I understand what you are trying to do, but we must get home. Hiding from our problems is not the answer here."

Toriel warns them, "Do not try to stop me! This is your final warning!"

Iffy looks at her blades and sheathes them, "You don't want to do this."

Toriel closes her eyes and lets a tear drip down her face, "you want to leave so badly? Hmph, you are just like the others," She turns to face them, eyes still closed, "There is only one solution to this. Prove yourself!" Her eyes snap open with fire within them as fire swirls around Toriel and the girls. Both Iffy and Compa's hearts glow, once again, "Prove to me you are strong enough to survive!"

Iffy takes an unarmed stance, "I see there is no other way, I guess I have to prove myself, but I won't kill you" She looks back at Compa, who is on her hands and knees with a terrified expression upon her face, "You may want to look away. Because you do not need to see this."

Compa pleads, "There has to be a better way."

Toriel stares through Iffy as the girl rushes towards Toriel to grab her. Toriel steps to the side and with her field of vision noticed Iffy weapons are sheathed, which causes her to ask, "You intend to fight me without your weapons?"

Iffy dodged the flurry of fireballs that were thrown at her, "Look, I really don't want to hurt you! You have helped us: shown us kindness, and even saved us from an evil flower!"

Iffy grapples Toriel and pins her against the wall but does not show any more aggression. Toriel responds, "What are you doing? Either take this fight seriously or run away?"

Compa stares down at the floor while on her hands and knees, "Ms. Tori! Can't you see we don't want to fight you?"

Iffy responds, "I am not going to be the one that lays a fatal strike on someone who is caring and gentle as you are."

Toriel blast away Iffy and knocks her to the wall, "What are you trying to prove?" Toriel throws a furry of fireballs at Iffy.

Iffy gets up after being knocked to the wall. She rolls to the side just in time as the fireball hits where she once was, "Toriel, stop this, please! We do not need to fight! Yes, I was upset!"

Compa looks at Toriel with puppy-dog eyes as she finishes Iffy's sentence, "but all we want is to just go home!"

Toriel grits her teeth holding back tears as she throws a fireball in Compa's direction, "Stop looking at me like that!"

Iffy jumps in the way of the fireball that was meant for Compa. Iffy smiled, and she took a direct hit, yet she still stood her ground despite taking quite some damage, "That one hurt. Toriel, I do not wish to harm you, but you have to understand we need to get home."

Toriel acknowledges that Iffy took a direct hit yet still stands. She decides to stop throwing any more fireballs. "I know you two want to go home, but please go upstairs now."

Compa jolts up and cries, "Iffy!" as she begins to heal her wounds. Iffy just stares at Toriel this time with no anger but just saddening pleading eyes.

Toriel shows a weak smile, "I know I can take care of you here. I know we don't have much, but we can have a good life here. Why are you making this so difficult?"

Iffy smiles weakly, "Just stop, Toriel. We have a family up on the surface, we have friends that will miss us. Surely you can understand. We would be missing them if we stayed here."

Toriel looks down in utter defeat, "I understand. you would be just unhappy trapped down here separated by the ones you love." Toriel sighs as all the swirling fire dies down, "The ruins are very small once you get used to them. It would be not right for both of you to grow up in a place like this: not to mention what you said about your family waiting for you on the surface. My expectations, my loneliness, my fears. Comap and Iffy, I will cast them aside for you."

Compa looks like she is about to cry, "Poor Ms. Tori."

Toriel looks down ad cries, "Pathetic, isn't it? I could not save a single child, let alone two, and now I have to watch them leave once again."

Iffy chuckles as her wounds heal, "Again with calling us children, we are adults, and decides I did manage to hold my own."

Toriel chuckled herself, "That you did, which gives me slightly more hope for you two." She sighs, "If you choose the leave the ruins, I will not stop you. However, when you two leave, please do not come back. I hope you understand." Toriel hugs Compa, "I gave you that recipe for the pie I made, and I know you will do it justice. You are such a sweet girl, Compa."

Compa smiled though she still feels like she wants to cry, "Thank you, Ms. Tori."

Toriel lets go of Compa and walks towards Iffy, "Iffy, I can tell you are a strong capable fighter, and yet you refused to harm me even when I tried to fight you. You do have strict behavior, yet I can tell you are just as sweet as you are strong. Kind of something you manage to prove yourself in your own way."

Iffy let out a proud smile, "Back at my home, they call me the Windwalker of Gamindustri! I am no slouch in a fight and even non-lethal combat. Also, if I ever meet that twisted flower again, I am going to toast him till he is ash!"

Toriel chuckles, "Now don't get ahead of yourself" She lets go of Iffy she walks back from where they came from only turning back to say, "Goodbye you sweet girls, and please be good." She turns her back to them and disappears through the hallway.

Iffy looks where Toriel left "I hope you one day find your happiness Toriel."

Compa stood up her smile gone, "That could have been handled a lot better, Come on let's go." Compa walks forward with her head hanging.

Iffy sighed and rubs her forehead, "Great, now, she is very sad, but she makes a point. I could have handled this better."

Iffy follows Compa through the doors that lead to a long hallway at the end was a patch of ground, and there was Flowey the flower with a smug grin. Iffy chuckled, "Guess I get some gardening done; the first order of business is to torch this weed!" Iffy wastes no time casting her flaming spells at the patch.

Flowey with a smug grin, burrows down into the earth, and as the girls run up to inspect if he is gone, he entangles himself around Compa. Compa freezes in absolute fear as the flower makes its way near to her head while entangling the rest of her, "Golly, now that's not how you say hello to your best pal!"

Iffy draws her katars but hesitates when She sees Compa being used as a hostage, "Let her go weed! If you don't, I'll…"

Flowey smirks evilly, "You'll what? Roast me till I am nothing but ashes? Why go ahead, oh wait, I have your dear sweet Compa all tangled up with me!" He has a vine caressing her cheek and Compa stares at him with a side eye frozen in terror, "Such a sweet girl she is? You would not want to hurt your dear, sweet, innocent, pretty little Compa now, would you?" Flowey purposely nicked Compa's face causing her to bleed, "I am here to have a little chat, but I need, reassurance that you will not hurt me."

Iffy with her hands tightening around the grips of her blades, says in a low calmer voice which scared Compa, "Flowey, When I ever get the chance to, I am going to kill you."

Flowey scans Iffy, "Well now, you are very interesting. Your LVL is not the same as Compa, why is your LVL 5, yet you didn't kill anyone here, how curious. You restrain Toriel and took a direct fireball to the face from her, and you still spared her. Guess there is more to you than meets the eye?"

Compa spoke, "Mister Flowerery please let me go!"

Fowey groans as he tightens his grip hurting Compa, "It is Flowey, you dumbass! You two think you are so smart, don't ya?" Flowey smiles sadistically, "In this world, it is kill, or be killed."

Iffy growls stepping slightly closer "Really? Is that what all the monsters down here are? Well, I see one that really needs to be uprooted and shredded!"

Compa despite being scared out of her mind spoke up, trying to stand up to Flowey, also despite being at Flowey's mercy, "You are wrong Mister evil flower. We did not need to kill anyone before, who is to say we can't prove you wrong?"

Flowey laughed at them as he tightens his grip on Compa, "So you were able to play by your own rules, big deal! You spared one life of a single person. I bet you feel really great not killing anyone at all despite your lvl being higher than it should be, Ms. Windwalker!"

Compa cries in pain, "Why do you have to be mean to us, Mr. Flowerery?"

Flowey getting annoyed at Compa picks her up and throws her at Iffy, "IT IS FLOWEY, YOU STRAWBERRY BLONDE IMBECILE!"

Compa screams in absolute panic as she was flung at Iffy, which gives Iffy no choice but to drop her blades and catch Compa. This caused Iffy several bruises and scrapes while also being knocked down by the thrown crying nurse. Iffy chuckled as she lay there with Compa groaning on top of her, "Guess, sweet little, Compa ruffle your pedals!"

Flowey rolls his eyes, but then returns to his evil, malicious smile, "Iffy and Compa, what will you both do when you meet a relentless killer? Iffy, your soul has determination, and yet dear little Compa does not."

Iffy glares at Flowey and grits her teeth, "What the hell does that suppose to mean?"

Flowey grins and a menacing aura falls upon the girls, "I guess you will die and find out, and when you do. I will be more than happy to explain the power you have. Until next time, I will be watching!" Flowey roars in malicious laughter and retreats to the ground.

Iffy scoffs, "Stupid flower" Her tone changes, and she groans in pain, "Compa, are you ok?"

Compa groans and cries in pain, "I am alright, but I think I sprained something." She slowly gets up, grips her arm, and limps to the door "Owie!"

Iffy stood up and groans, "Here let me help you." Iffy walks up to Compa and wraps her arm around her and tucks her hand under Compa's arm, and walks to the final door of the ruins, "Here is the last door, wow there is a cold draft coming from it".

Compa winces in pain, "Can we take a break here, and use our magic to heal ourselves?"

Iffy smiles as she looks at the door, "yeah, might be a good idea" She sets Compa down and begins casting healing magic, "We need to not rush things, we have to take some time to rest and heal" Compa smiles weakly, and the two girls patch each other up and rest to heal up.

Meanwhile in Gamindustri

Neptune was flying as her purple heart form. As she flies, she holds a hand close to her heart, but then shakes it off, "No, they are fine. They are just lost we will find them in no time" Neptune opens her eyes and realizes she is about to fly into power lines, she quickly steers herself away but got herself stuck in a tree instead. "Well, that could have gone better."

Noire jolts awake. She was sleeping at the said tree that Neptune crashed into. She yawns and looks around. "Huh, must have fallen asleep outside again from being so tired. I need to stop doing that, and take some of my workloads off."

Neptune transforms back to her human form getting her unstuck, brings a mischievous smile, and jumps down right on top of Noire's back, "Hello there, Noire~ How's the Lastation CPU doing, hmmm?"

Noire starts flailing around, screaming, angrily, "What the hell Neptune get off of me!"

Neptune giggles until she felt a mechanical arm grab her and pull her off, and throws her to the ground. The figure pulled a sword towards Neptune's neck. Neptune gets a good look at the figure, "Brave? But human size? Is Arfoire coming back because this would be terrible timing?"

CFW Brave trains his sword on Neptune until Noire holds up her hand, "Hold it, man, It is just Neptune being an idiot" Brave sheaths his sword and walks off towards Lastation basilicom.

Neptune was confused at what she just saw, "Questions, I have so many questions."

Noire sighs, "A strange melting skeleton showed up and gave him to me. He said he brought him back from the void, along with the rest of the Felons; at least I do not have to lock this one up. He seems to want to atone for what he has done, so I gave him the chance to do just that."

Neptune blinks, "So a freaky skeleton dropping him off at your doorsteps does not raise any red flags."

Noire chuckled, "Oh, he tried to send Brave to kill me, but turns out it backfired since he was moved about how Uni was able to fulfill her promise to him. The weird skeleton vanished after that. What's weird is he spoke in hand signals. Anyways, what brings you here, Neptune?"

Neptune shrugs and paces around Noire, "Well, dear ol' Noire, I came to ask if you heard anything about my two friends Compa and Iffy, they kind of just vanished from the face of Gamindustri. Me and Nepgear have been looking at what happened to them."

Noire puts a finger to her chin, "Uni said she was going to meet them the other day but mentioned they never showed up. She was at home thinking they had forgotten about her. Could they have just gotten lost?"

Neptune sighs and hangs her head, "So you have not heard anything either."

Noire shrugs, "Maybe they are probably just late from getting back from whatever they were doing. I do not see why this is such a big deal?"

Neptune whines and stamps her feet, "They were gone for over three days. They are my friends, and I can't help to worry about them."

Noire pinches the bridge of her nose while closing her eyes in disbelief, "Neptune, you are such… You know what never mind, where did they say they were going?"

"Mt. Ebbot, know anything about it?" Neptune asks.

Noire makes a half smile, "I have heard about it, some strange things happen there, and that's where I heard CFW Brave was brought back from. He has not said much of anything about it. He did only mention the four felons are back but weaker for some reason. I will try to get some answers from him about it if he would even talk about it."

Neptune abruptly hugs Noire, "You're the best, Noire! Now I must go find a place and eat some delicious pudding and rest. Flying in HDD form is tiring you know."

Noire looks at Neptune with a stone-cold expression, "Why did you not just take a ship?"

Neptune sheepishly smiles, "Flying is more fun."

Noire chuckles, "Ok, fair point, I can't argue with that knowing you."

Neptune and Noire hear Uni running up to them, with Brave following behind, "Noire, there you are? Did you work yourself to the point you fell asleep in random places now?"

Noire sighs, "Maybe I should take a vacation."

"Is that the willingness to slack off I hear" Neptune giggled.

Noire groans and throws her hands in the air, "You are unbelievable sometimes, Neptune."

Brave interrupts, "Sorry to intrude, My lady, but Kei is looking for you, and we have a situation at the Basilicom."

Noire went white, "Oh crap, the meeting about the event I was planning, Neptune, I got to go, and I will look into what happened to your friends" She hastily transforms and flies away.

Uni looks worried, "Noire… You need a break, you are working yourself to death."

Brave looks at Uni, "Do not fret, you have kept your promise to me with the children, so shall I keep mine to help you and your sister out."

Uni nods and runs off with Brave to help Noire, and Neptune groans, "Well, they just leave me here. Ok, I will just go get pudding on my own. Time to go raid a helpless café for their pudding!" She skips off the direction towards pudding, and sweets which are downtown Lastastion.

Author Note: This is the Final Chapter of the Ruins arc, and in Gamindustri weird things begin to happen that no one has yet to understand. All that is known about a mysterious man that speaks in hands is toying with Gamindustri somehow, his motives are yet unknown. This was a long and hard chapter to write for there was so much that happened, and so much that was revealed. Yes, Frisk is involved and has gotten older. I have implied that she has been in the underground for quite some time, and the mysterious human will be touched on when they reach the town of Snowdin.
