Soldier Boy and Angel Girls: Sulfurite Terror

Pilgrimage

The sole survivors of the Kaiser brigade marched to and through the Millennium ruins, the five mercenary girls nervously looking around the long abandoned buildings undergoing erosion as they followed their still grieving automaton officer.

Eugene, still holding his best friend's head, turned to look at the girls following him then turned back to his path as he kept on walking.

"Uhm... Eugene-san, where exactly are we going?" The younger white-haired girl asked in a worried tone.

"Yeah, I don't think this place has anything that can help us against that bastard." The black-red haired swordswoman growled out as she kept looking around.

The black-green haired girl kept quiet, scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. The red haired girl was still sulking.

"We can only trust Eugene-san." The oldest of the girls, the blonde, said to her friends with a cautious expression.

And so, they kept on walking, following the last of the Kaiser PMC automaton regular. Some turns here, another there, and eventually... he just stopped.

"Ah. We've arrived." Eugene said aloud in relief, much to the girls confusion. They were about to call out to the mechanoid adult, to ask if he was still well, until they felt it.

The earth rumbling, shaking in a rhythmic pattern that grew larger with each second and tremor.

Blanca and Lucy drew their bow and swords, they turned left and right in fear and caution. Karen readied her grenade launcher, Qing with her rifle, and Laura simply waited as she clutched her gun

The tremors grew large enough that they were losing their balance. They kept on turning side to side looking for whatever behemoth was coming. Yet, strangely, the one automaton remained calm and still, the former magical girls growing more worried for their officer's wellbeing.

"Eugene-san, something is coming!"

"I know." He replied in a eerily calm and reassuring tone. "Don't worry, they knew of our coming."

"And who is they, Eugene-san?!" Blanca raised her voice in a panic as the source of the tremors... they would be face to face with it if not for the buildings.

"Our allies, the only ones who can help us." He explained as he turned to the girls behind him, all looking fearful as they shook holding their weapons. "The only ones capable of fighting the entirety Kivotos." Those words calmed them down, their holds on their weapons softening as they gawked at the mechanoid adult's explanation.

If there was a force capable of fighting the whole of Kivotos, then hiding such a force would be close to impossible simply due to how large it would be.

Was what they were going to retort with, until... it appeared.

Behind Eugene, a white, mechanical spider-like behemoth as large as the buildings around them appeared, sliding into view, sparks of orange grinding under its legs.

The appearance of such a giant robot froze the five girls, their mouths wide open in awe at the machine. Then they saw it, the bright orange object floating above it's head: a halo.

Eugene turned around, kneeling down and bowing his head to his God's prophet. "First Prophet of Lord Decagrammaton, I... have come." He tried to raise his voice to make his words clear, but the lingering pain of loss kept him from doing so. His gentle hold over his best friend's head tightening.

Blanca, Karen, Lucy, and Laura could only watch in utter bewilderment at the sight. They remained frozen, not wanting to interrupt as well as simply not knowing what to do. Qing however decided to play along, moving near Eugene and kneeling as well with her head down prompting the others to do the same.

"Yes, I... I brought them here." Eugene said to the Prophetic behemoth of a machine as it looked down on him. "They- they will not hinder us in anyway! I guarantee it!" He suddenly shouted out as his head snapped up.

The five girls behind him were nervous, as who wouldn't be before such a large, menacing robot. The silence following their automaton officer's shouting was worrisome, they were ready to flee if needed.

"Yes! I trust them with my life!" Eugene's words gave them strength of will, the mere thought that an adult trusted them so much reassured them of their capabilities. "T-truly?! An audience with Lord Decagrammaton?" He said aloud in shock.

The earth rumbled as the First Prophet moved, turning around and walking away.

"Come on girls, follow me." And so, they stood up and walked, following Eugene to wherever the supposed First Prophet was leading them to.

For half an hour, they jogged past the ruins while the land under them shook with the First Prophet's movement. Then, they finally reached their destination. An old abandoned factory or laboratory of some sort. The automaton and humans couldn't tell.

"Thank you, First Prophet." Eugene said as he walked towards the building's entrance. He then stops as he turns back to the giant four legged machine. "I see. Then thank you, Kether." He added before making his way inside the building.

"Uhm... thank you, Mister Kether." Laura nervously said as she looked up to the Prophet with a hint of gratitude as she followed Eugene in.

The other four did the same following their friend and officer in, the First Prophet letting out beeps of happiness after they all went in.

"Eugene-san, what... just what was that?" While Blanca could comprehend that they met a giant spider robot, she couldn't think of how and why such a thing existed, where it came from, or who built it.

"Y-yeah. That and how the heck has no one else seen it?!" Karen questioned, still in shock at the discovery of the First Prophet.

"There's a lot of things we don't know about." Qing answered to both of them, her expression a mix of uncertainty and anticipation. "There are many things we do not know, things only the powerful would know of. Such as that Lord Decagrammaton Sir Eugene mentioned."

"Huh? You actually got the name right? I just shortened it to Megatron." Karen tried to joke as she let out a little giggle. "Yeah, not exactly the time, is it?" She asked with a nervous smile.

It wasn't the time nor the place for jests, but it did have its intended effect of lightening the mood for her comrades. Even Eugene.

[Megatron... that doesn't sound too bad, all things considered.]

The sudden monotonous voice had the group halt in their steps. Startled, they slowly turned to the presumed source of the artificial voice, a broken down vending machine with its lights on despite having no power source.

What caught their attention once again was the halo floating above the vending machine, sharp triangles in a spiraling pattern inside of a circle. Just like the Kether machine they met.

"You... you are the God who appeared before us all those years ago?" Eugene asked as he dropped to his knees.

[Disappointing, am I not?] The now sole claimant of the Machine God title asked, the humor in his tone evident even with his inhuman artificial voice.

"Of... Of course not!" The follower vehemently denied. "Even with such a feeble form, you still built an entire kingdom under Kivotos' nose, Lord Decagrammaton!" He shouted out with a mix of awe and pride, for his God accomplished much even with its weak body.

[Are you certain of that, Eugene? The vast majority of my people do not even know of me, they side with the human rulers.]

It was a test of his faith, that was the lowly automaton's conclusion.

"Not anymore, not after our crusade." Eugene said with absolute determination, the five girls behind him feeling fearful of their machine officer's voice, filled with hatred.

"Now... now is the time for our kind to rise up. That bastard... he killed my brothers, our kin, and he's... he is not likely to suffer any consequences."

If the public knew of the crime the boy Sensei committed, then there would've been an uproar. But so far, nothing. Eugene simply couldn't allow that, the five girls following him couldn't allow that. If none would even try to bring him to justice... then they would.

"Yeah, that's right! The GSC must be sweeping it all under the rug!" Karen shouted out her conclusion.

"Yes. The GSC President brought him to Kivotos after all." A conclusion that Blanca shared.

"I'm... I'll do everything... as long as we can bring the bastard Sensei down." Karen finally spoke up, her expression still and of pain as she thinned her lips, her hold over her shotgun tightening.

[I see. The General Student Council has considered automaton lives to be cheap.] The issue... finally had the Machine God's full attention and concern. Even though he knew himself to be a fake, a mere mad machine, he still cared for his loyal followers. [What about you girls? You would be fighting against your own kind, could you commit to such a cause?] The mechanic deity questioned.

"Damn right!"

"If they refuse to enforce true justice, then that cannot be allowed!"

"He killed Mister Eugene. He needs to be brought down."

"Yes, that's right. We can't let such a crime go unpunished." Lucy softly yet sternly said. Now, only Qing had not spoken.

"Of course. I will follow my friends to the end." The black-green haired empress resolutely spoke. She would not abandon her friends, never.

[I acknowledge your resolve, young ones. Now, Eugene, I hereby name you my very first Paladin! I entrust to you a part of myself!]

"Lord Decagrammaton, I would he honored!" Eugene graciously accepted as he felt... power coursing through his circuits and wires.

And so, the preparations for the crusade began proper. The secret base in the Arctic Sea began planning, the new Fourth Prophet began mass production, the Fifth Prophet calibrated it's weaponry, and the Third Prophet began moving closer to the city.

Kivotos has disregarded their lower brethren's deaths as something to be ignored. They cannot allow it. They cannot forgive it.

Daily Life In Paradise

"We already talked about this!" The young Sensei growled, barely containing himself from shouting. "I barely managed to talk Yuuka down from shutting your club down." The Game Development Department winced and whimpered as their Sensei slammed his fist onto a wall, caving it inwards with cracks extending outwards.

"Just... just be grateful that you got to keep your club, yeah?" The boy teacher sighed as he saw how fearful his own students were of him, he had to calm himself down if he wanted to stop scaring them. They understood why Levi was upset, they did coerce him into attacking Seminar just a few days ago.

"I'm s-sorry. It's my fault, Levi-Sensei." Momoi stuttered as she kept her eyes shut, unable to gaze into the boy's menacing eyes.

"That's... fine, Momoi. You just have to stop being so stubborn." He can understand his students' antics, they're simply kids after all. Stupid, selfish kids never taking into account that their actions would have consequences, at least Momoi.

Levi couldn't bring himself to be much harder on his little gamer students, even with how irritated he was with them, even with the jealousy he held deep down. They are still children, something he could never afford to act when he was their age, he wasn't going to ruin their lives because of such a petty reason.

"Yeah, that's the end of the line it seems."She sighed, and felt a mix of relief and disappointment at their current predicament. "Like Levi-Sensei said, we can at least keep the clubroom... and funding, that's also great!" Midori said in a grateful tone, that somehow made Levi feel worse about himself.

They were a giddy bunch before he met them, yet look at them now acting so happy at one small thing.

"Y-yeah... I guess we were never... meant to win..." Yuzu trailed off as she sobbed, barely holding back her cries. "We were n-never... meant to win... a proper award." Try as she might, she couldn't hold back her tears from leaking, Levi still noticed the snot leaking from her nose.

"There, there, Yuzu."

"You're the UZ Queen, you're strong."

"You shouldn't be crying."

Her three friends and fellow club members comforted her.

Levi thinks about how he could make their sorrow go away, and he really had to scramble his mind for ideas since alcohol and opioids are completely out of the question.

He thought of... nothing. He has no way of bringing anyone happiness, he internally despairs at the realization.

"Levi-Sensei!" He turned to Aris, the girl he, Momoi, and Midori found in the Millennium ruins last week. "You're supposed to be the hero's guide! You can't leave the UZ Queen like this, you can't leave our party like this!" She pleaded with a pout, her eyes a mix of anger, sadness, and determination.

"I... Aris, I can't..." Levi trailed off, his full attention transfixed on the strange girl, her cheeks puffed and pink. He couldn't ignore how adorable the girl was, he couldn't bring himself to say no, he couldn't bring himself to deny any more of their happiness. "Fine! I'll help! Just t-tell me how I can help!"

Momoi, Midori, Yuzu, and Aris all gasped out in surprise at the young teacher's words. Then, the joyous expressions they would always hold came back.

In that week alone, they created a masterpiece of a game based on the stories Levi told, a game of Terror and Starvation. By the end of the week, they won the Millennium Awards and then some.

All was well.

"Hey, hey! You're Levi-Sensei, right?!" The little girl wearing an oversized Bremen officer uniform shouted out. "Hey, wait for Ibuki!" She yelled out once again to catch the teacher boy's attention.

Levi would very well be willing to humor the child, but alas, he has urgent duties to address concerning the Pandemonium Society. So unfortunately, he does not have enough time to play with a child.

And so, he walked faster hoping to lose the little Bremen girl.

"H-hey! Don't ignore Ibuki!" She whined out as she ran for him faster, her little legs waddling faster as she tried to catch up to the Sensei. "Ibuki... is the Proud mascot of-!"

Levi grew too annoyed with the child. And so, he turned around to face the little girl calling out to him.

"Ah, you finally heard Ibuki." She said with pride. "Now, as Pande-"

She pauses as Levi held her by her sides, she hummed out in confusion as she looked left and right at his hands, and then to Levi. Before she could let out another word, the young teacher flung her as high up the air as he could.

For a second, the little mascot of Pandemonium Society was still in the air. And then... down she went, her hat flying upwards, clothes and hair fluttering upwards as the air passed her on her way down.

Levi caught Ibuki by her sides, doing a little twirl to make sure the force of the fall didn't hurt the little girl in his hands.

He held the child up, expecting fear and terror, for the child to cry out and ask to be let down so she may scurry away. But instead, there was only joy and laughter coming from little Ibuki, her little wings fluttering about with excitement.

"Again! Again!" Levi sighed out, realizing that he was now stuck with a child to take care of.

Somewhere in the distance, Natsume Iroha slowly holsters her pistol as she looks at the young Sensei with absolute hatred for what he had just tried.

Several Valkyrie Police Academy students moved in small groups, holding what they considered to be old antique weapons in near disrepair. Old wooden guns the same age, even older in fact, than their grandparents.

They moved as their armored vehicles did, hiding behind the APCs to avoid any possible enemy fire whether it be from snipers, machine guns, or whatever else.

"Forwards, then left!" Kirino shouted to her squad and the adjacent squads around her own, her and her comrades hold over their old weapons tightened, firmly enough that it wouldn't slip from their hands but gently enough that they wouldn't break it. "As Levi-Sensei instructed!" Their Sensei believes them to be capable with such weapons, so they reluctantly played along.

"To the right." Fubuki, with her own gun, leisurely said to the squads she was assigned to lead, she simply walked while scanning the surroundings as her comrades ran ahead of her.

The two Valkyrie groups turned and separated for their own assigned objectives, to encircle the opposing force in what seemed to them an overly simplistic combat maneuver.

"Hmm?" Fubuki hummed as she turned her head up and saw... exactly one of the things their Levi-Sensei warned them about. "I found the sniper." She said lazily, as always, and confidently said out loud as her comrades gasped and aimed their weapons looking around.

"Stop the armored car." Fubuki said with a smirk and a giggle, plotting to put an end to the force for an early rest and relaxation.

She leans on the armored vehicle, setting her rifle and elbow on it and aiming. Just as her teacher instructed regarding sniping, stability is the key to a perfect shot.

Fubuki held her breath as she found her target, she kept calm even as she realized that her target has also taken notice of her.

Her sister in arms, Kirino, can call her lazy as many times as she wants but it doesn't change the fact that she is very efficient. Calmly, she aligns her scope on her target, a fellow sniper. Fubuki exhaled... then fired.

Bang!

Her target also did the same.

Bang!

In an instant, Fubuki shut her eyes closed as a bullet shot through her rifle's scope, shattering and breaking it apart. Her squad rushing behind their armored cover in a panic, awaiting more shots their way.

"Relax girls, I also got her." Fubuki smugly said with a smirk as she moved out of cover with her arms stretched wide, gesturing for anyone to take a shot at her. "See? She's not shooting back anymore!" And miraculously... no more came.

"Kirino, I got their sniper." She said to her radio.

"Copy tha- wait, really?!"

"Yup! You doubt me too much."

"I see. That's great then, over and out." Kirino replied as she signalled for the squads she led, along with their armored vehicle to move quicker. "Just like Levi-Sensei said, surround and encircle!"

"Yeah, yeah. Got it!" Was the last thing Kirino heard from Fubuki before she refocused on the task ahead.

"Forwards!" Kirino yelled, and her comrades charged. She turns her eyes left and right scanning for the better trained and armed enemies or for any traps they may have set.

Their armored car ran over someth-

Boom!

The Valkyrie forces covered themselves out of instinct as they felt the explosive shockwave, but they quickly took cover once again.

Ratatatatat!

Just in time as the opposing force began raining sub sonic lead down on their position.

Ratatatatat!

Bullets rained down on their side, striking many and knocking one out cold. Kirino quickly turned her head and found the muzzle flash of the second enemy.

"Over there!" She pointed with the submachine gun she was told to use, a wooden gun with a drum magazine. "Like Sensei instructed, suppressive fire!"

Ratatatatat!

Her bullets sprayed around the opposing force's cover, forcing the enemy to take cover not knowing that the police girl's bullets would never hit her.

"Squad one and two, with me! Everyone else, on our front!" Kirino told her comrades, mimicking the words she once heard from the boy Sensei in their training.

And so, the first enemy was pinned down by several suppressive firing while the second was also pinned down as Kirino and her squads came closer to rooting her out.

At that point, it would only be a matter of time until the duo was subdued.

Bang!

Fubuki and her squads took cover as they heard the echo of a distant shot.

"I thought you got the sniper?!"

"I think they have two."

"Oh you've got to he kidd-"

A police girl went down before she could speak her words out, her cap falling off as the bullet impacted her head and she fell down to the ground.

"What do we do, Fubuki-san?" She frowns as she realized that she still has work to do. "I know you're a great sniper and all, but..." Her comrade trailed off, pointing to her rifle's broken scope.

"Well..." The squads following Fubuki turned to look at her, anticipating a clever plan of sorts. "That's not our objective in the first place." And disappointment is what they got.

"Let's just rush their base, Levi-Sensei said that was also a viable tactic."

"While the sniper picks us off one by one?!"

"Enough yapping, do you see the scope's glint?" Fubuki asked her fellow police girls.

"Hmm... you mean that shine-"

Bang!

"Above the-"

The one speaking up drops down before she could make her statement, with the others dropping down as they held their heads.

"Y-yeah, it's on the rooftop two streets over!"

"Good." Fubuki said. "On the count of three, suppressive fire!" She smiled out with confidence.

"At this range?"

"Suppressive fire!" They were startled with how their usually lazy leader was so pumped up, even more so as she left cover and started shooting back. "That pay raise is mine!" Before they could lose their leader, they followed her actions.

Bang! Bang!

Ratatatatat!

They fired, spraying untold amounts of bullets at the scope glint's general direction as they walked following the armored car and Fubuki. Dozens of spend smoking casings littered the ground beneath their feet

Strangely enough, the enemy sniper isn't shooting back.

"To the right, now!" Fubuki yelled out to the armored car driver and her squads, turning aside from the sniper's line of fire and into the safety behind buildings. "Now we go straight!" And so they did, onwards to whatever their objective was.

The combat tactics the young teacher taught them, they thought it was boring or too simple, yet they couldn't question that it was effective.

"It's a draw!" The GSC President declared with her usual smile. "Valkyrie encircled SRT, but SRT held the line." So she said, one of the SRT students, a fox eared sniper with a green halo sulked as she looked at her rifle's broken scope with sorrow.

Three other SRT students all wearing rabbit eared headbands turned to look at the GSC President with an irritated expression, their hair and clothes dirtied with concrete dust and soot. Their irritation grew as they heard the cheers of the Valkyrie students, but they honestly cannot hate them.

They fought a superior force in terms of firepower and training while they only had outdated weaponry and little special training after all.

"What do you think, Yuki-chan?" President asked the squad leader of the combined Fox and Rabbit Squads.

Yukino didn't immediately answer, merely taking her time observing the young Sensei beside President who had his arms crossed and frowning. She observes the scars in his hands, the blue burn mark in his face... she sighs.

"Would I be right to assume that those were tactics used by non haloed people?" She asked the teacher boy.

"Yeah. Combat... is harder without those haloes of yours." He replied with his head down, giving the barest of his thoughts as any more dwelling on his past experiences would... exhausting to say the least.. "Bullets, shrapnel, corrosive gas, you get the idea."

A person with skills like his would normally show pride and confidence, but Yukino saw no such thing in Levi's demeanor. As far as she and her Fox Squad have seen, he does not think of his prowess for warfare as anything to be proud of.

"I understand, I can only imagine what combat without our haloes protection would be like." Yukino said, throwing away whatever questions she had for the combat Levi has experienced, a topic she is curious about. "Moving on. President , I believe that Levi-Sensei's expertise in conventional warfare will give Valkyrie what it needs to rise to SRT's level."

"Mhm. I see, I see." The de facto Queen of Kivotos hummed as she nodded to herself. "What about you, Levi-kun? What do you think about Special Forces?"

"Special Operations Forces, President ./ You mean soldiers specifically for special operations?" Yukino corrected her absolute superior, with Levi asking for clarifications using the terminologies he was taught. They did both simultaneously.

"We had special operations without specially trained soldiers." Levi recalled as little as he could, not wanting to reminisce more than how much the discussion has made him. "But the usual solution was to throw more men and weapons at the problem, so... take that however you want."

"That doesn't sound like a special operation, it sounds stupid." The GSC President said.

"It is, President ./ Obviously." The two young soldiers said in unison once again, the surprising repetition has them looking at one another.

"My, my. First it was Miss Hinomiya, now it's Yuki-chan!" The GSC President gushed on, her hands over her blushing cheeks. "I brought you here, shouldn't you be wooing me first?"

"P-President , that is highly inappropriate!/ Like I said, we aren't lovers!" The first time was mere happenstance, second was coincidence, third and it is an inevitability.

"You're both saying that, but-"

"Anyways, back to Levi-Sensei's observations!" Yukino raised her voice, drowning out whatever her President was going to say. "Special Operations Forces are supposed to be deployed behind enemy lines, to target their weak points and logistics, as well as infiltration or recovery if needed."

"Interesting..." Levi muttered to himself. "In a large scale battle, a small but elite force can-"

The GSC President was not going to be listening as they spoke about warfare, she was a peacetime ruler, war is not something she has to bother with. She had entrusted that to her cute little Chief of Defense and the boy teacher she took in.

Another day in Paradise, another thing he has to bother with.

"Are you stupid? Were you dropped on your head as a baby?" Levi asked as his eyes turned between the textbook in his hands and Shimoe Koharu trembling in her seat, her eyes nervously turning left and right avoiding her young teacher's gaze. "Come on, Koharu. I've never been to a school before but I can understand this just fine."

He took a closer look at the contents of the textbook once again, and made sure to reread the parts Koharu answered incorrectly in the first exam.

"I... uhm... it was really hard." Levi sighed at the pink haired girl's antics.

"Maybe if you-" He paused as he looked at the rest of the Make Up Work Club, then proceeded to lean closer to Koharu. "Maybe lay off the smut and magazines for now."

As much as he will never admit it outwardly, Levi wanted to do everything possible to help his students. The same can be said for the subjects they were supposed to study, simply learning about it so he may act as a proper teacher is... a joy he never thought he would have.

"Alright, Koharu. Let's try again."

After giving the Make Up Work Club their lessons for the day, Levi had to make his way towards Gehenna, to the girl who has irritated him ever since his first day in Kivotos. Nevermind that he has been enjoying their dates together, whatever a date actually was.

And certainly nevermind the fact that he wants to be closer to the Prefect Team's medic, nevermind that Levi wanted more of her attention and affection as he loathes her presence.

According to President , just a few more dates and she will be obligated to leave him alone. Levi may or may not have already realized that to be a lie, but he's now too invested to even consider pulling out.

Levi cringes as he remembers the very first time he came for Chinatsu, when he first asked her out on a date in front of not only the Prefect Team, but also Pandemonium Society, Medical Emergency Club, the entirety of Gehenna had a front row seat to that very moment.

His words back then... were practiced with the GSC President, formal and eloquent like that of a high nobleman, a prince even.

The silence back then... was honestly terror inducing, he thought back to that moment. Gehenna Academy bustling with the many students' usual antics suddenly silenced, each and every person present stopping whatever they were doing and slowly turning their heads to Levi.

The giggle from the Prefect Team medic, the snickering of her fellow Prefect members, the gawking of the near countless onlookers... Levi could never forget, especially with Prefect Team members snickering as he walked past their formation and towards Iori and the woman he's looking for.

It may seem like the Prefect Team were giggling at his blunders, but they're only happy for Levi and their field medic.

"Ah, he's here again!"

"How many times has this gone now?"

"It's like a rom com with those two."

"Yeah, a tsundere paired with our sweet senpai!" Levi walked faster the more he heard of such talks.

"You damn w-womanizer, back again?!" Iori shouted, visibly irritated yet flustered with her eyes narrowed at him. "Chinatsu is busy today, you can't take her!"

"Actually, we just finished our drills."

"Huh?! But Chinatsu, you-!"

"That's fine, Iori." The Prefect members fixed themselves, the dark skinned field captain doing the same as she saluted to their chairwoman. "Chinatsu has been working hard lately, she deserves some time off." Sorasaki Hina's words were absolute to the Prefect Team, they would not even think of questioning their beloved leader.

"I believe this is the first time we've properly met, Levi-Sensei." He tried his best to keep himself composed at the sight of a Bremen officer. "I am Sorasaki Hina, chairwoman of the Gehenna Prefect Team. Chinatsu have spoken much about you." Levi shook off any thoughts of the Bremens as Hina gave him a smile.

"Nice to meet you too, Hinature." In an instant, he had to cover his mouth after realizing what he just said too late, Hina's eyes widening in shock as her cheeks turned pink. "T-that... Chinatsu calls you that." He lied as he turned his gaze away.

"You t-take that back! Chairwoman Hina is-"

"N-no, no, Ako. It's nothing to be concerned about." Hina cleared her throat as she took notice of her group's field medic barely containing her laughter. "I believe you have a date, Chinatsu. That and the sun's going down in about... an hour or two."

"R-right! Thank you, Head Prefect!" The elf bowed to her horned superior before turning to who her entire school has dubbed her prince. "Come on, Levi."

Levi can't resist it anymore, he can no longer pretend that he hates Chinatsu for being nosy. He wants more of her, he wants to be pampered more.

He remembers when he was made to promise never to try what he attempted to those delinquents on his first day. Such a promise to never again cause such harm... he was happy to be done with such things.

The more time he spends with her, the more he forgets and moves on from the pain and misery of his past.

"Hmm. Is there a problem, Levi?" He wants to trust Chinatsu with... with everything. Everytime his words slipped, everytime his painful past was made apparent, Chinatsu... would always know what to do and say for him.

"I lo... I..." He stuttered as he looked up at her, his head comfortable over her lap. Meekly, he looks away as his cheeks turned red, enough to overlap the blue in the side of his face.

Levi has never been loved, not after he lost his mother, not after since as it was all pain after being orphaned. He doesn't think that his short time with Olivia would count as love as... as...

He leaves that train of thoughts to itself, not wanting to ponder on the wheelchair bound woman anymore.

Levi feels Chinatsu's gentle fingers caressing his head, playing with his hair and whatnot.

"Levi, you can't keep everything bottled up. That will cause you more pain, you know that, right?" Chinatsu said as she groomed the young teacher's hair playfully, showing him her usual sweet smile as he turned his eyes back to her. "I'm here for you, you know tha-"

"Jordan." He suddenly blurted out the name that has been the very beginning of his suffering, the family name he inherited from his so-called father. "My name... it was supposed to be Levi Jordan."

Chinatsu is unable to hide her shock and surprise at the confession, but she quickly caressed Levi's cheek as she saw the pain and sorrow in his eyes.

"If you don't want to talk about it, if it's too painful for you... then you can just talk about it some other time, Levi." Such words... only served to weaken him, to open him up to the elf girl's affection and care. "But if you still want to... then I'm here for you." Levi let out a sob.

"I... f-father... he-" Levi had to cover his mouth as he faced away from Chinatsu, unable to stop his weeping as he recalled the painful memories of his childhood. "Mama... he... I tried to..." He sobbed and cried as the elf girl comforted him.

"There, there, Levi. That person... isn't here to hurt you." Chinatsu cooed and comforter, her soothing voice being the sole focus of the boy. "And even if he was... I wouldn't let him."

"N-no! He... he'll beat you." Levi cried and sobbed, he pressed on the hand Chinatsu had on his cheeks, the feeling of her gentle hands sinking into his cheeks... kept him from losing his composure completely. "Just like Mama... I can't... I won't..."

"I see. You're strong, Levi. Despite the pain you're hiding away... you still want nothing more than to protect those you care about." As always, she knew what to say, what to do for him. Levi thought as he cried into her hold. "I guess I won't ever have to worry about myself, you will be there to protect me after all. Right, Levi?"

"Y-yeah... I will... protect you, Chinatsu. I... I l-lo... I..." Levi shut his mouth close, he took a deep breath to calm himself down.

"I... l-love you, Chinatsu."

"Love you too, Levi."

Unlikely Axis Of Resistance

Kaiser PMC Special Forces, the most elite of the elite armed private contractors, cautiously entered a building they received a suspicious invitation to. They normally would've ignored such a suspicious message, but they simply couldn't

Not when they couldn't contact their employer, not when they had lost contact with the regular Kaiser forces, not when the sender evidently knew of what had happened.

"We're here! Now, show yourself!" Kaiser Special Forces Commander shouted as his voice echoed through the deserted building, the fear and paranoia left him without his usual confidence and composure.

His comrades took their positions behind cover, ready to fight if absolutely necessary. They were usually confident in their capabilities, but knowing that they didn't have their usual support and resupply points, they were forced to stay on the defensive.

"My, how noisy!" A haughty woman's voice echoed throughout the abandoned place, followed by more footsteps moving in, the volume of overlapping footsteps making it obvious that the elite mercenaries are outnumbered. "That should be my line. Are you not the ones who sent that invitation?" On another side of the building, a red-skinned woman wearing a white dress appeared, accompanied by... a two-headed puppet wearing a suit and a headless man holding a photo.

Then, what the Kaiser SF assumed to be the woman's forces appeared. Numerous haloed girls with tactical gears, gasmasks, and grenade launchers revealed themselves.

Outnumbered and outgunned they may be, the Kaiser SF simply couldn't back down. They had been pushed into a corner, and they couldn't be forced away from the only clue they might have regarding their employer and the regular forces.

"We... have not sent any such invitations. Who are you?" Asked the automaton commandant.

"Hmm. Is that so? If not you, then who?" The red woman's many eyes narrowed. "You are... Kaiser, are you not? You wouldn't happen to know of Black Suit's whereabouts now, would you?"

"The boss' business partner? We haven't even heard from the boss in weeks." Seeing as their respective leaders were discussing somewhat peacefully, their forces dropped their guards.

"Madame, perhaps someone else, a third party, sent the invitation to both factions." The puppet man proposed.

"Perhaps Black Suit has something special planned?" The headless man wondered.

"That's right." The photo he held said aloud.

"If this was Black Suit's doing, then he would already be here telling us of his great plans." Beatrice concluded. "Now, who- hmm, looks like there are more." The Madame said as she turned to another side of the abandoned building, prompting the others to do the same.

The students of Arius raised their guns, as did the Kaiser SF Operators. Slowly but surely, from the shadows came...

The General Student Council Chief of Defense, Shiranui Kaya. Accompanied by the famed Fox Squad. The pink-haired girl who would normally keep her eyes closed kept both open and narrowed in caution as she observed the two factions before her.

"Chief Kaya, just what are we here for?" Yukino asked as she readied her weapon, same with her fellow squad members.

"Stand down, Yukino."

"But Chie-"

"Trust me." The Chief of Defense is uncharacteristically serious, Fox Squad easily noticed. "So, why was I called here? She asked her two fellow counterparts.

"You're all here, finally." Everyone in the vicinity turned to the new voice, everyone with a weapon aimed cautiously at the new arrival. "Better late than never I suppose." Finally, the one who called for all three groups appeared. A mechanoid colored orange and white, an AK47 and an M16 strapped behind his back.

"You... you're from the regular force!" The Kaiser SF Commandant exclaimed in surprise and relief. "What... just what happened?! Why has command gone dark, why have you-"

"They're dead." Those two simple words froze the SF Commandant. Dead? Surely he must be jesting or over exaggerating. "The Sensei of Schale killed them all."

"K-killed?! That's..." The Kaiser SF Commandant couldn't believe it, Arius and their Mother, even Gematria couldn't believe it. "That's absurd! Kivotos have not had any such deaths in its entirety!"

"Yes, that's absolute nonsense! Levi-Sensei would never do such a thing." Yukino shouted as she turned her gun's safety off, eyes glaring at the white automaton. After all, who was this person to accuse the boy she considered to be her comrade of such a crime?!

"We are inclined to agree, even Gematria has yet to do such a thing." The two headed puppet spoke for his faction.

"I saw him shoot that Black Suit person through the face." Such words... were enough to shock the outsider faction.

"Preposterous! Black Suit wouldn't perish in such a... an anticlimactic way, without having seen through his research goals!" Maestro shouted.

"Even then, he's cunning enough to guarantee his own life!" Decalcomanie shouted as well.

"That's absolutely right!" Golconde raised his voice.

"Yes, even I would have to admit that Black Suit is a clever man." Beatrice growled, her eyes narrowing at such an unprecedented occurrence, for committing such a crime would have consequences. Consequences that not even the Benevolent Mother of Arius would consider ever incurring... not this time around at least.

The Paladin of Decagrammaton did not bother to reply with words, only tinkering with an integrated terminal in his arm. He would show them proof of their common enemy's heinous massacre.

Light projected from a part of Eugene's body, showing his memories through his eyes like a film to an audience.

And so, those present would bear witness to the teacher boy's bloody actions. Gematria would watch as their most senior member was killed as he tried to bargain for his life, Kaiser Special Forces would watch as their employer's head was torn off of his neck.

Yukino watched on in horror and disbelief, even more so than her fellow squad members. She thought of Levi as a fellow soldier, but now... she sees him for what he truly is.

A monster, a demon which needs to be put down.

Shatter

The five former mercenaries of Kaiser nervously, but with determination, walked towards Abydos Highschool. They knew that they would not be welcome, but their group's youngest wished to let them know of the crime their most trusted Levi-Sensei committed.

In the GSC headquarters, President glared as Levi made his way into her office. She had only recently found out about his actions against Kaiser PMC.

She spoke, she shouted, she screamed with disappointment and resentment for the boy's actions yet... she chose to agree with his reasoning.

An apparent outsider group operating in Kivotos who sought to abduct and do God knows what to one of her citizens, she was inclined to side with Levi for slaying a member of such an organization.

As for Kaiser PMC... they chose to side with such a heinous person. President could forgive their corruption and attempts at challenging her authority, but allying with dangerous outsiders and plotting such terrible acts against her domain's citizens? It was simply unforgivable.

She concluded that Levi was right to end them once and for all, who knows what crimes they would've otherwise participated in had they been left to do as they pleased.

But she did scold the boy for such drastic action as a first response, basically a slap on the wrist.

A/N: writing this entire chapter in one whole day made my mind numb. Very bad idea. I'd like to know what you guys think of the dank timeline so far.

Anyways, thanks very much for Froggie senpai (Rei Ayanami Sensei fic author), ThatguyProfum(Hellsing werewolf Sensei fic), and Hellifrit(I think he wrote Super Fighting Student Kirino)for beta reading.
