Soldier Boy And Angel Girls: Sulfurite Terror
Axis Rebellion Council
Underneath the grounds of Trinity General School, in the heart of Arius Satellite School. The groups seeking the end of the General Student Council and Schale stands before one another.
The General Student Council Chief of Defense thinned her lips looking left and right at the faction she have joined in, people who want to attack Kivotos. She would be betraying the GSC, betraying her President.
President entrusted to her the duty to look after and defend Kivotos, a duty she happily accepted from the Senpai she admired so much. A superhuman.
Yet... even with how much she admired the GSC President, how much she wanted to keep doing her duties to the President... she simply couldn't.
What you did was unforgivable, Levi-kun! You... you killed those people! There were better ways to end that dispute!
She remembers walking towards President to report the Valkyrie rearmament progress, she remembers the shiver she felt hearing that the boy she hired had killed people.
Gematria... you met them?! One of them?
She remembers waiting with bated breath for the punishment her superhuman President would enact against a murderer.
The man in a black suit... he tried to... abduct one of my... my citizens? I see... so that's why...
She remembers her mind and body freezing as President listened to the killer's excuses.
I've been trying to root those invaders out for a while, and you didn't accept any offers from them. That's good, Levi-kun. You were still out of line, but... who knows what damage Gematria and Kaiser PMC could have done together.
She remembers feeling... uncertainty towards the superhuman she admired so much, of how the President talked about invaders infiltrating her city.
While I understand your reasons, your methods were still too extreme. But for taking care of such a threat to not just Abydos but all of Kivotos, I will allow it.
She remembers her heart skipping a beat as the great President of the General Student Council afforded not even a slap on the wrist as punishment for the demon in human skin.
Hmm? What is it, Kaya-chan?
Shiranui Kaya shuddered as she remembered being caught eavesdropping, terror at the gaze of two powerful figures who in her mind could do any and all vile acts without repercussions.
"We will be the first to face the bastard. We have better training and equipment."
"We still have to deal with Valkyrie, and it will not be easy considering their new equipment and training."
The Kaiser Special Forces Commandant argued back and forth with the Machine God's representative, pointing out flaws and possible unaccounted for obstacles in their respective plans for the coming battle.
"Training... we in Arius have trained our entire lives to fight. We shall be the-" The masked Arius student with dark blue hair paused as she felt her Madame's hand on her shoulder.
"Hush, Saori. If they wish to be the first ones to perish, then let them do so." Joumae Saori nodded to the Mother of Arius. She knew what was best after all.
"It would be wise to treat our allies as such, Madame."
"We tolerate you for you are a fellow member of Gematria, I cannot say the same for our new friends."
"That's right!"
The Mother of Arius narrowed her eyes at the three, sighing as she refocused on the matter at hand.
If the Automatons had eyes, then they would have glared at the red skinned woman. While they did so in their own way, they had to let it pass as they had better things to worry about.
"We have proof of Sensei's crimes, can we not simply expose him?!" The leader of Fox Platoon asked, adults and fellow students alike turning to look at her.
"Yeah! Attacking the entire city is just overkill if he's the only target!" Said Fox Platoon's blonde Pointwoman.
"Nonsense, fox girls. Do you really think your President will allow that?" Yukino trembled as the woman's many eyes looked down at her, she felt... weak in the knees at the adult's domineering aura. "Attacking Schale or the GSC will be the same as attacking Kivotos for her."
"S-she... of course she wou-!"
"Then why have she not punished the boy?" Yukino turned to the white and orange Automaton. "Where is the justice for my brothers?" She had no way to respond to that.
"But what if President doesn't know about it?" Fox Platoon's pink haired second in command asked. "Then we could convince her to-"
"Yeah, and the CEO didn't know what Kaiser PMC was doing in Abydos." The Kaiser SF Commandant spat out dismissively, his fellow Automatons turning their heads away knowing full well what he meant. "For a cover up this good, it's impossible that your President didn't know!"
"Even if President covered up the whole thing, someone would have noticed." Said the Fox Platoon's sniper, her expression and demeanor, calm and collected as she usually is. Even if she did feel some doubts in... everything.
"Oh, I'm sure that plenty enough witnessed the carnage." Otogi stared at the domineering woman, awaiting her reasoning for such a conclusion. "And I'm sure they will keep their mouths shut, lest they wish to end up like those pieces of scraps." She narrowed her many eyes as she clarified, speaking from her own experiences.
The Automatons present turned to the woman and gripped their weapons, they will not allow their fallen comrades to be insulted.
"Please forgive her, the Madame has been ... stressed as of late." The two headed puppet told the machine men, trying to calm them down.
"Yes, you know how women can be." The headless man added. "That's right." Said the photo he held.
The Madame's many eyes twitched in annoyance at her Gematria fellows. Once again, she sighs as she redirected her attention to the fox eared girl.
"Wait! If plenty knew of the massacre as you are saying, then we can win the support of the public against Sensei!" Yukino raised her voice with a hint of desperation. Even if she wants to fight for justice, attacking Kivotos would mean... having to fight her kouhais and comrades in Valkyrie.
"Yeah, like Leader is saying. Why are we even taking about attacking Kivotos? Sensei is our target!" Kurumi shouted along with her squad leader.
"We already said it, you brats! Your President is protecting him!" The SF Commandant shouted in frustration.
"You don't know that!" Yukino shouted back. Even if there was evidence of the young Sensei's crime, there was none suggesting that the President allowed the massacre to go unpunished. "President wouldn't allow that!"
"Yes, she has never acted with any such malicious intent whatsoever." Niko said, keeping in mind the GSC President's childish demeanor and antics. "I doubt that she would would even think of doing such a thing."
"Then you know nothing of how a leader thinks." The adult woman dismissed Niko's words with a scoff.
"Said the woman letting this academy suffer." Otogi countered with a frown, referring to the condition of Arius Satellite School. The masked girl standing alongside the Madame narrowed her eyes.
"That's right. We saw the people here starving, wearing rags, just... miserable." Kurumi said with a glare towards the red skinned adult. "Some leader you are, Madame." The dark blue haired girl clicked her tongue in annoyance.
"Take that back!" Saori shouted, pointing her gun at Fox Squad. "Madame Beatrice is the one who nurtured us, the one who made us strong! You have no right to-"
"Now, now, Saori. You are my most capable soldier, you shouldn't be losing your composure with mere words." The Mother of Arius hushed down.
"I see. Forgive me, Madame." Was the only thing Saori could say back.
"Now, where was I...?" Beatrice trailed off, her many eyes moving to observe the Fox Squad and eventually... Shiranui Kaya. "You have yet to speak up, little Chief of Defense." The petite pinkette shuddered in the adult's gaze.
"Hey! We were talking to you!"
"She has nothing to say back, so she's talking about something else."
Fox Platoon's Pointwoman and Sniper spoke in unison, their leader and second in command simply waited for what the Madame wanted with the Chief of Defense.
"The gentleman, Eugene, must've invited you... you of all people here for a reason." Beatrice said, with the Chief of Defense's well known admiration for the GSC President in mind. "Would you please kindly, tell us why?" The petite pinkette would be answering Kurumi and Otogi for her.
Everyone turned to look at the Chief of Defense. Fox Platoon, Kaiser Special Forces, Eugene, the present Arius students, and the other two Gematria members all stared at her.
Kaya opened her mouth to speak, to tell them of what she overheard between the boy teacher and President until... she gags, unable to speak her words. She would be betraying the city, betraying the GSC, betraying her President.
The former two, she would have no problem doing. She thinks- no, she knows she would be a better leader if she had more authority. President however... simply thinking about betraying her made Kaya weak.
"You are close to the President... you can confirm whether or not she knew of the boy's actions."
"Chief?"
"It is strange..."
"You're the one they invited..."
"But Chief Kaya and President are friends..."
The Fox Platoon members muttered to themselves, awaiting the petite chief's explanation.
"I... w-we aren't allies, I don't have to t-tell you!" Kaya tried to appear strong, especially to the domineering Mother of Arius. "I'll... I'll find a way for m-myself!" Her stuttering voice showed otherwise.
"Fufufu. And what exactly are you planning, little one?" Beatrice giggled as she talked down to Kaya.
"D-don't call me-" Kaya covered her mouth, stopping herself from appearing even weaker. "President ... she said that Gematria planned to commit the same crimes. What do you have to say for yourself?" She asked, demanded an answer.
"Ah, so the little one does have teeth." The Madame sang to herself in amusement.
"We are merely observers... I do not speak for the Madame, though."
"That's right."
"And I am a researcher. Same as our late fellow, Black Suit." The two headed puppet said, foregoing the need to mention what his late fellow planned in Abydos.
"And Madame Beatrice is the one who made us strong, as I said earlier." The Madame smiled as one of her many beloved daughters spoke for her. "She's the one who guides us, the one who trained us, fed us, the one who will lead us to victory against the decadent Trinity!"
"My, my, Saori. All of those praises... you're making me blush, you know."
"I... it is the truth, Madame."
"There's your answer, little one." Beatrice said to Kaya, who's now feeling more and more smaller facing the adult.
"That... then why did she refer to you as invaders?" Kaya knew nothing of the matter, of the grander scheme of things. She only had the brief words she overheard from her President. "Gematria is the only reason she didn't punish Levi-Sensei." As far as she knew, at least.
"Even still, the boy's first solution was mass murder." Beatrice knew little to nothing of the young Sensei, she still however knew well enough given the teacher boy's first act meeting Gematria. "Not someone we'd want in power now, would we?" She lastly added with a serious tone.
Kaya would have to reluctantly agree, not that she would openly admit it. Of course, she knew deep within herself that the demon Sensei must be dealt with, and she would have to cooperate with the people before her. But she prefers having some form of leverage against them in doing so.
"Moving on, I must thank you for telling us so." Beatrice said with a smirk, much to Kaya's confusion. "As you just said, we're the reason why your President did not punish the Sensei." Meaning, the President knew of the boy teacher's mass murder. That was the conclusion of everyone listening, a sickening feeling formed in their stomachs as their suspicions were confirmed.
"N-no! That's not what I..." Kaya tried to deny her own words in a panic, stopping when she realized it would be futile. "President ..." She mumbled to herself, wondering why her President would allow such a thing. After all, if it was up to her superhuman President then she would have found a better, perfect way to deal with things.
Kaya wanted to think that the Sensei was tricking her superhuman President in some way. But the more she thought about it, the more she replayed the conversation she overheard... the more it sunk in for her that President knew full well of what happened, that Levi told her nothing but the truth on the matter and she allowed him to go unpunished.
"Yes, I... I overheard them." She reluctantly admitted. "President knew exactly what he did, and she won't do anything about it."
"Chief Kaya..."
"But why..."
"W-what?! She's really... doing nothing about him?!"
"President is in on the killings..."
Fox Platoon felt... uncertainty, shock, and betrayal hearing the confirmation. They couldn't believe it when, the President they served... she spoke of justice, of how they and SRT would be enforcing it. Yt here is evidence of her doing nothing to enforce justice.
"With that out of the way, we can go back to planning our attack."
"Wait! Our enemy is the Sensei, why do we have to attack the rest of Kivotos?!" Kaya questioned the adult woman.
"Because, little one, Kivotos will flock to his side. Trinity, Millennium, Valkyrie, SRT, and even Gehenna." Beatrice answered the petite Chief of Defense. "Especially Gehenna, with the boy's closeness to that elf girl."
Yukino grimaced at the mention of the Prefect Team's medic, knowing full well of her intimate relationship with Levi. What would she think, how would she feel, if she found out what her lover had done? Of course, her fellow team members felt the same thinking about the elf nurse.
"Trinity is your target, Arius' target. It has nothing to do with Sensei." Kaya spoke back.
"Trinity is already one of his major allies. Crippling them will be a boon, both to our cause and Arius' cause."
"Even then, he would still have Valkyrie, the rest of SRT, and Gehenna. If we fail, then we would be more dependant on you."
"Precisely. Better to have a fallback as opposed to crumbling after failing once, yes?" Kaya gritted her teeth, frustrated with the adults answers as each and every one made her feel more domineering, more capable than she already was.
Almost like her superhuman President, a thought she would never admit.
"If you hate the prospect of being dependant on the Madame's army, then fear not... she's not the only one with an army." Everyone's attention turned from Kaya and Beatrice, and onto Eugene.
"And pray tell, where is this army of yours hiding?"
"Hehehe... it will be a surprise." The white and orange Automaton chuckled out. "Absolute Being Autonomous Analysis System. Does that sound familiar?"
"Yes! That was Black Suit's abandoned project, how do you know of it?"
"And the plot thickens."
"That's right."
"The only thing I will say is that... Valkyrie, SRT, Millennium, and even Gehenna will be occupied." Eugene said. "And our elites can deal with the bastard by himself. Special Forces, Fox Platoon, and even Arius' Elite Squad if they arrive on time."
"Hmm, not a bad plan if I do say so myself." The woman said. "But we've seen his... magic, for a lack of a better term. It annihilated the entire mercenary army, and he may even have the capability to bypass a haloes protection."
"You planned to use "that" weapon right out the gate, Madame?"
"For one lonesome target, that is overkill."
"That's right."
"Too much is better than not enough. Besides, it would be preferable if we didn't learn any more of his magic the hard way." No one had any objections to that.
"Just what sort of weapon are you planning to use?" Yukino asked with caution.
Beatrice saw no need to answer the Fox Girl, but she figured... there's no consequence to telling. "Powerful enough to shake entire cities, fast enough that it will only appear as a split second blur to the naked eye."
"That... you're using an ICBM?!" Otogi raised her voice in alarm. "As a first strike?!"
"That's beyond overkill!" Niko shouted. "I know that Sensei is unnaturally sturdy, but still!"
"We can deal with him ourselves, especially with the SF guys and your elite squad! No need for overkill!" Kurumi shouted. "Or do you not trust us? Do you not trust your elite squad?!"
"Oh, I do not doubt your abilities. Simply, better safe than sorry." She replied to Fox Platoon, her many eyes narrowing at the four girls. "Like I said, we know not of his fullest capabilities. He could very well survive the missile and use his healing magic." Fox Platoon... had to reluctantly agree, they understood the Madame's vigilance even if it was close to paranoia.
"Then what about the people in the blast radius?!" Kaya questioned.
"What about the people he's killed? The people he would kill in the future?" The counter questions from the red skinned woman froze Kaya. "You've seen the recording, little one. He showed not even a hint of hesitation when it came to murder, no mercy when Black Suit and the PMC Director begged for their lives. We cannot hesitate, he will kill us if we do."
"B-but... but..." Kaya could not find any words to respond with.
"Shiranui Kaya." She gazed at the woman as she heard her name, instead of the insulting title she was given. "I can see... that you are capable of greatness, but you're still weak as you are. This... this is your chance to rise up, so away with your hesitation."
Kaya... felt those words resonate within her. She felt... some sort of acknowledgement hearing the adult who have been belittling her speak in such a... supportive, encouraging way.
"Y-yes. For the good of Kivotos, we... we will bring down Sensei." She cannot help but admire the woman.
"Atta girl."
"Since you've told us about your weapon, then... I suppose we also have something to say." Kaya said, gesturing to herself and Fox Platoon.
"Chief Kaya, are you... going to tell them about that?" Yukino asked as she widened her eyes. "A hypersonic missile is one thing, but that..."
And so, their alliance would have two weapons of mass destruction to use against the demon of a Sensei, against the city of Kivotos.
Joint Assault, Simultaneous Crusade
And so began their clandestine plans, an all front battle involving all of the GSC and Schale's enemies coordinating with one another.
Fox Platoon was preparing, calibrating their weapons and optics, keeping track of the Sensei's whereabouts, as well as planning ahead with possible scenarios. Kaiser Special Forces, the last of the contractor army, did the same. The two special operations teams would be the first to engage the boy teacher, that is if he survives the first strike.
"Never thought I'd be fighting alongside you brats, but here we are now." The SF Commandant sighed as he lit himself a cigarette and somehow smoked it without a mouth.
"Likewise, especially after our first mission." Yukino replied with a barely hidden smirk, referencing the mission in which her squad infiltrated Kaiser Corporation. "But using that weapon..." She trailed off as her smirk turned into a frown, dreading their last resort being put to use.
Both Fox Platoon and Kaiser SF stayed silent on the matter. The planned first strike against the Sensei, and the Sensei only, will already be devastating enough to the city. The last resort would be a fatal blow.
That fact was clear in their minds, which is why they needed to succeed. At all cost. And so, they moved out in unison.
In another front of the plan, Shiranui Kaya walked towards the GSC building with an uncharacteristically serious expression with her eyes opened. She is escorted by a team Valkyrie personnel armed with equipment... that have have not yet been widely distributed.
The nearby low ranking Valkyrie personnel did not see the need to be suspicious, only feeling a slight envy seeing their supposed fellows already having received better equipment and weapons. One waved her arm as a greeting, only to feel dejected as she was ignored.
"Shiranui Kaya, should I... have returned that gesture?" An Arius student in disguise asked her group's designated leader with uncertainty.
When their school's Madame told informed them that the crusade against Trinity would finally begin, Arius was ecstatic. When the Madame revealed that they would not be alone in fighting, they felt even more certain of their victory.
As for the group which were assigned to follow an ally of the enemy, a general of the General Student Council, they were nervous. Of course, they do not doubt their great Madame.
"It's a little too late, but yes." Kaya replied as she glanced at the Arius student behind her, and with the rest sightseeing at the unfamiliar sights outside of their academy. "Hmm. Enjoy the sights as much as you can, I guess." She said with a sigh, redirecting her focus in front of her.
After all, it will only be a matter of time until the city they are observing will be set ablaze.
Back in their home academy, Arius gathered their full force in preparation for their attack. Each and every student, well trained and well armed, loyal to their cause. On their very front, the Elite Squad would be leading the charge.
Joumae Saori double checked her spare magazines, Hakari Atsuko adjusted her gasmask, Tsuchinagi Hiyori inspected her Anti-Material rifle, as did Imashino Misaki with her launcher's cluster munitions. The zealous crusaders of Arius awaits their benevolent mother's orders to attack.
Lastly, in the unlikely alliance's front in the other side of Kivotos, hundreds upon hundreds of the Machine God's followers were one step from beginning their attack.
The Machine God's Paladin held an M16 and an AK-47 in each hands, humming to himself as the countdown in his head ticked down.
Five.
The Fifth Prophet of Decagrammaton, Geburah, rose up from a river surface. It's halo and optics shining bright orange which blended with the sunlight.
Four.
The Fourth Prophet of Decagrammaton, Chesed, maintained it's current production. It has little contributions to direct combat, yet the role it played would be vital for the grander scheme of things.
Three.
The Third Prophet of Decagrammaton, Binah, slithered under the Abydos Desert until it was face to face with the city.
Two.
The First Prophet, Kether, marched alongside it's smaller humanoid fellows. They marched using the Millennium ruins buildings as cover, hiding themselves to maintain the element of surprise.
One.
And so began the attack. Geburah braced itself, it's missile pods opening up and the munitions launching themselves up the air, and down on Kivotos.
A cacophony of scattered explosions echoed throughout the city, smoke and flames blowing and rising as the missiles left craters in the roads and debris falling from buildings.
Near immediately, emergency responders began rushing to the scene with their vehicle's horns roaring.
The Third Prophet raised it's head from under the sands, large volumes of grain falling from his white and orange body. The Fifth Prophet's laser cannon flipped to it's front, aiming the shoulder mounted weapon in a certain angle.
Geburah and Binah charged their attacks simultaneously, blue and orange energies gathering in one's maw and another's white barrel.
The General Student Council President's usual calm smile disappeared as she took notice of the two.
The Fifth Prophet's destructive weapon of light charged up to full capacity quicker, it did not wait for it's fellow to finish charging. He fired, vibrant blue light shooting out of it's weapon and causing controlled devastation.
It destroyed and melted roads which the enemy could use, it destroyed buildings causing many to fall down the roads Geburah could not target and blocking the path. Eventually, it's laser weapon fizzled out.
President frowned as her dear Rinny-chan, as well as her other underlings, panicked as they saw the damage dealt by a sudden attacker.
"P-President ! What do w-we do?!" Nanagami Rin yelled out in fear, staring at her President with hopeful eyes. "President?!" She screamed, unsettled at her leader's eerie lack of distress.
In the distance, those in elevated places could see the giant mechanic serpent preparing to breath fire and destruction down on Kivotos. The General Student Council included.
The Third Prophet roared as it blasted the city with it's breath. Scorching orange light shot from it's maw, intending to devastate and cripple more of the city.
"President?!" Rin shouted once more, rushing to her sky blue haired friend's side. "!" She shouted her President's name in desperation, frantically shaking here still leader.
The GSC President snapped out of her inner thoughts, quickly shoving Rin off as she snapped her fingers.
The Serpent Dragon's orange light of destruction was halted midair, a near invisible force stopping it from hitting the city no matter where the Serpent Prophet swung it's aim.
Meanwhile, the Machine God's Paladin began his own attack. With a wave of his arm, he directed his fellow humanoid followers to move. He directed the tank type followers to stay as they were, to aim their turrets as high up as possible while the humanoid machines marched forward.
"Fire." Eugene said, and the Holy Machine Army soldiers followed.
Boom! Boom!
An orchestra of explosions echoed as dozens of tanks fired their turrets in quick succession. Firing once, twice, thrice, and so on as their shells landed causing panic and devastation upon Millennium and Gehenna.
The Big Sister of Millennium immediately sprang onto action, calling for her loyal maid to don her powered suit, as well as deploying her drones alongside C . She remained calm as the Communications A.I, Hub, made coordination easy.
"Concentrate aim." The Paladin directed, pointing to the tower of glass and electronics. "Fire!"
Again, the turrets fired. A split second passing before high explosive shells impacted the Millennium Tower, overpressure from the explosions breaking and scattering shards of glass and steel.
Boom! Boom!
More and more shells hit the tower, more and more glass shards and steel fragments scattered and raining down on the panicking students below.
Boom! Boom!
Millennium Tower began toppling from it's midsection, pieces of furniture and computers sliding down and falling through the shattered exterior.
Asuma Toki in her powered suit jumped out from the toppling building's top floor, with the four members of Seminar. Tsukatsuki Rio and Ushio Noa were hanging on behind Toki's powered suit, Hayase Yuuka and Kurosaki Koyuki held on the guns for dear life.
As they fell, the incoming machine army was visible to them. They knew they had to act. Rio directed her drones and C to meet the machine army, and Yuuka called in to report the situation to the GSC and Valkyrie.
The First Prophet began advancing towards the city along with the army. It's fellow followers spreading out to make themselves known, to begin their crusade once and for all.
Behind the Paladin of Decagrammaton, the group of mercenary girls appeared. They had sent Abydos their message.
"Eugene-san, we're back."
"We aren't late, are we?"
"No, you girls... are just in time."
The tank type followers re aimed their turrets from Millennium and to the rest of the city, and they fired once again.
Boom! Boom!
Countless shells covered the skies, but said shells detonated midair far from the ground.
"All Valkyrie and SRT units, mobilize!" President shouted the order to her terminal, an order which was received by all of the security forces under her. "SRT attack helicopters, scramble! Artillery force, fire at Millennium ruins! Valkyrie, all units to the east!" And so, they did.
Somewhere in Shiratori, the young Sensei watched cautiously as SRT helicopters took to the air with air raid sirens screamed throughout the city.
"Levi, w-what happened?!" The Prefect Team's medic nervously asked.
"A.R.O.N.A!" He yelled, pulling out the tablet from his clothes. "Report?!"
[Levi-Sensei, an unknown invasion force has appeared! Three Large Mechs identified by satellites to be hostiles! Two in Millennium, one in the desert!] The boy teacher grimaced at the mention of invasion. He knew what war was like, and he certainly didn't want his students to know what it was like. Especially not his beloved.
"Levi, President Hina called! They're being attacked!" And so is Millennium, Levi thought. He cannot help both.
[Receiving message from President !] A.R.O.N.A shouted.
"Levi-kun, I need you on the front." The GSC President's stern voice was heard. "The invaders are also marching to Shiratori's direction! I've already deployed Valkyrie and SRT, but I still need your expertise!"
"Yeah, I'll be there!" Levi replied, feeling fear at the prospect of another war. "Make sure the police girls arrive to fight." He said before pocketing the Shittim Chest.
"Levi, the Prefect Team, my friends will need me." Chinatsu said, worried for the Sensei's wellbeing.
"Then go. I'll be fine." He replied with a confident, reassuring smile. "I promise."
"Good. Take care of yourself then." She said with relief, returning her lover's smile. They then had to go their seperate ways, to their comrades.
He unslung his rifle and turned the safety off, dashing towards the front as fast as he could.
The combined forces of Valkyrie and SRT rushed to meet the supposed invaders on their armored vehicles, panicked citizens running away from the metallic marching that came closer and closer.
The destruction from the missiles and the laser were clear, buildings and roads destroyed and many pathways were blocked by the debris.
"All Valkyrie and SRT units, go straight!" Confusion. That was their feeling towards the GSC President's order. "I'll pave the way for you girls, you'll know when you see it! Just make sure to fight the invaders off, like Levi-kun trained you!"
Near transparent hexagonal holograms appeared in front of the destroyed infrastructure on the security forces path, serving as ramps and bridges over uncrossable destruction. Valkyrie and SRT ground forces had a clear path to meet and repel and invading machines.
In the air, dozens of attack helicopters and armed transport helicopters bearing SRT's insignia flew aiming their munitions at the incoming hostiles.
Kazekura Moe flinched as a bullet flashed and bounced in front of her, as did many of her fellow helicopter pilots. More and more anti-aircraft fire came, all of which were deflected as each helicopter had a holographic shield protecting them. Courtesy of the GSC President, a fact thet did not know.
They had no need to know, it protected them and that was all they needed. As far as they were concerned, it was their Sensei's magic.
The helicopter fleet rose in elevation, angle of attack pointing down on the coming mass of hostiles. They launched their rockets down, an overlapping cacophony of munitions whistling as they rained down on Kivotos' enemies.
Boom! Boom!
Explosions echoed, numerous combined overpressure shaking the earth and obliterating waves upon waves of the machines as smoke and flames scattered and spread.
A pilot had to pull up, flinging her helicopter away to dodge a behemoth lunging from the smoke. The haloed mechanic, white and orange, spider like robot narrowly missed the aircraft he lunged for as gravity pulled it downwards.
The transport helicopters carrying SRT squadrons lowered themselves on top of buildings, the elite soldiers they carried rappelling down.
Quickly, Tsukiyuki Miyako led her ground squad to take up defensive positions and start firing alongside Sorai Saki. Kasumizawa Miyu would snipe goliath cores from afar, and Moe would keep on providing air support. It was the same for other deployed SRT squadrons, they fought and kept the machine army from advancing any further until their comrades could arrive.
Miraculously, they arrived sooner than expected. Dismounting from their armored vehicles, both Valkyrie and SRT forces began rushing to firing positions while their armored vehicles where driven forwards to serve as cover.
The students of Valkyrie carried their newer weapons with pride and confidence, nervously yet eagerly awaiting the enemy. Machine guns, assault rifles, mortars, grenades, and training. They had everything they would need to fight the battle.
Ogata Kanna, for the first time as far as her underlings were concerned, smiled. She was happy seeing her usually inept underlings so confident and capable. They matched SRT's forces, and they would be fighting on the same level as those elites. She could not be more prouder.
They will keep the machine army from advancing further. After all, the combined forces of the entire forces of the elite SRT Academy and the newly invigorated Valkyrie Police Academy were all gathered here.
"Maintain the frontline, link up with Gehenna and whatever forces Millennium will have! That's what Levi-kun said." They all received their Sensei's and President 's orders, and they would follow it.
The invading machine army will never advance through their lines with the defenders already dug in... exactly what the Axis Of Resistance's other half planned.
Eugene checked his internal clock, grumbling as he thought; the ambush would take play any time now, and he would miss it. The mercenary girls behind him shared the sentiment. Then again, so long as their comrades were given justice, they would not complain.
[Dear Paladin of mine, I will not stop you.] Eugene heard the Machine God's voice. [You are free to do whatever you wish, I cannot— I will not stop you.]
"Thank you, Lord Decagrammaton." The Paladin said. "Girls, come. We'll at least be there for the bastard's death." And so, they would sneak past the front line to join their special force comrades.
In Trinity, the students would redirect their attention from the commotion in the other side of the city onto something closer. Directly above their academy, they saw... something shooting high up the sky.
Suddenly, several small projectiles shot out from the thing and started rocketing down on Trinity. Clustered, scattered explosions set the grounds of Trinity ablaze, buildings damaged with some burning down.
Students were panicked, screaming and injured from the cluster attack. The Justice Task Force scrambled, calling upon all of their members to help. The Sisterhood and Remedial Knights rushed to aid the injured. The Tea Party-
Boom!
The Tea Party would be disorganized and crippled as their three leaders were incapacitated. Finally, Arius would finally exact their justice and vengeance after so long.
They rushed out of hiding, attacking and subduing most of the disoriented security forces with little resistance.
Kenzaki Tsurugi and Aomori Mine would be the only effective defenders against Arius, their durability and tenacity keeping them up and fighting. Shirasu Azusa would have been part of the defense, if she were not evacuating her friends to safety.
Levi slid to a stop as he heard distant explosions behind him. He turned to see smoke and flames blowing up from Trinity, gritting his teeth in frustration as he turns back and forth to where the invasion force came and to Trinity.
"Levi-kun, I'll deal with the invasion." He heard the GSC President talked through the Shittim Chest. "This is my duty as Kivotos' leader. Now, go help Trinity!"
"Thank you, ." Levi said, expressing his gratitude to the President.
She was there to observe the training he gave Valkyrie and SRT, so she should know what to do. Besides, Levi was certain of his students capabilities. Coupled with the training he gave them, Valkyrie and SRT combined would be an unstoppable fighting force.
Levi faced Trinity, worry filling his mind as he thought of his students. With a deep breath, he sprints towards Trinity.
As Levi sprinted, he caught a tiny split second flicker in the distant sky. At first, he ignored it. But... the dot in the sky became larger and larger, quickly speeding-
Supersonic Devastation
No one could have expected, no one could have done anything to intercept it as they never would have perceived it. Not even the ones who launched the supersonic missile.
In just a three seconds, it traveled kilometers. Appearing only as a split second blur for any witnesses, it swiftly sped, rocketing itself to it's target.
It detonated. In the blink of an eye, the entirety of Shiratori would be devastated as entire buildings were shattered and obliterated. In the epicenter of the detonation, only a sizable crater remained.
In the crater, the boy teacher remained with mere light wounds and minor burns. Courtesy of the mystical protection of his A.I assistant. Screams of terror and the sizzling flames filled his ears, countless people injured screaming in fear and for help.
The GSC building's glass exteriors are all shattered, yet it's inhabitants were all strangely unharmed. A mystic holographic shield protecting each and every GSC member in the building.
"P-President! W-what the hell was that?!" Vice President Rin shouted in a panic, her pulse running as she breathed frantically. She was scared, as was her many peers.
"Valkyrie and SRT, ignore it. Focus on repelling the invaders." The GSC President ordered her forces over her terminal, her face devoid of emotion. She was... upset to say the least. Such a weapon, a weapon from the old civilization, used against her city?
"?" Rin called her name out once again, feeling fear at her friend's unnaturally cold expression.
"Everything... will be just fine, Rin." The President said so, yet the Vice President felt no relief. Not when her friend is showing a smile filled with malice, not when her friend isn't using her nickname. "We just have to ki- I mean deal with the threats first." Rin gulped as she heard her President speak.
"Rin, coordinate the civilian evacuations. Pretty please." She asked- no, demanded.
"Of course, President."
Execution Operation
[Levi-Sensei, please retreat to safety immediately!] A.R.O.N.A shouted as loud as she could, her artificial voice filled with humanlike desperation and panic. [My shields are at 0%, the supersonic blast depleted it! Please retreat, I cannot protect you!]
Levi ignored his A.I assistant's pleas as he looked around with narrowed eyes. Even without A.R.O.N.A's mystical protection, he would still be difficult to kill. He was sure of this. The revelation of such a weapon even existing, and the fact that he was directly targeted was of no concern to him.
"A.R.O.N.A, show me the way to Trinity!" Levi demanded, the earth beneath his feet shattering as he shot forward. His only concern was his students in Trinity, the clear attempt on his life meant nothing.
Levi shot through the smoke and flames, the devastation of the blast made apparent by the surroundings he passed. Entire buildings crumbling and burning down.
He grimaced, knowing full well that the coming emergency responders will not be enough as almost all of them are busy fighting.
[Healing Whispers]
Levi uttered a quick prayer, a prayer mastered by one of the souls he's absorbed. The Fertility Goddess' healing light appeared, the wounds of those he passed quickly mending themselves.
The healing light will not reach all of the victims, but that was the least he could do. He still had to help Trinity. And so, he sprinted faster towards his destination. If he could resolve the situation there, then they can-
A rocket was launched from the young Sensei's blindspot, he couldn't react fast enough as-
Boom!
He felt the impact and blast shattering the his left ribs and rupturing his organs. Countless shrapnel fragments piercing his body as the overpressure slammed him down on the concrete road.
Quickly, as if the RPG had no effect on him, Levi aimed and shot at where he thought the missile was launched from.
Bang!
Levi scrambled upon hearing a distant gunshot. Pushing himself up and running to cover, he felt a bullet piercing through his ankle and splattering blood as he moved.
[Marksmanship]
The boy Sensei allowed his many years of reflexes to kick in, quickly aiming and-
Ratatatatat!
Levi growled as he was sprayed with gunshots from all directions, near countless bullets piercing through his chest and right arm. He turned to the size where he felt more pain, arm outstretched as he called upon destruction magic.
[Black O-
A bullet shot through Levi's right hand, blood gushing from the sizable hole in his forearm. He was surrounded, and he needed to retreat.
[Adrenaline] [Escape Plan]
Levi started running straight into a building, intending to breakthrough and take co-
Bang!
Shotgun pellets shot through the entrance and tore through Levi's stomach as he staggered, his eyes widening as he saw a glimpse of pink hair and fox ears.
Another RPG is launched directly at the Sensei. It detonated upon impacting his side, the force of the explosion throwing him down the road.
Before he could push himself up, several fragmentation rounds were shot directly at him. Shrapnel and explosions tore through his body as the attackers kept shooting, until finally... he went still and limp.
Bang!
A sniper from afar fired, her bullet whistling until it landed on the bloodied, still body's head with a squelch. For a moment, everything was still and silent.
"Target... neutralized." Fox Platoon's Leader said through her radio with uncertainty, her eyebrows furrowing at the sight of such gore. She, and no doubt her comrades, could see their dead enemy's organs.
"I shot him... shot him in the head..." Their Sniper muttered with a monotonous voice as she breathed frantically, most likely in shock.
"So, mission over. What now?" The Pointwoman asked with hesitation, knowing that the alliance is most likely no more now that their common enemy has been dealt with.
"They... we can still help our kouhais." Fox Platoon's Sergeant proposed with a trembling voice, her close encounter with the boy teacher prior to his death still fresh in her mind.
"Brats, we... we should double check." Even the Special Forces Commandant felt fear and uncertainty, for the act he and his squadron participated. "Like that woman said, the bastard probably has a lot in his sleeves." The two special units were in agreement. They needed to be absolute sure, they supposed.
Fox Platoon and Kaiser Special Forces cautiously walked out of their hidden vantage points, loading new magazines and shells into their weapons and pointing it at the body in the middle of the road.
From one side, Kurumi cautiously walked closer. Her shield and submachine gun ready, with Yukino and Niko behind her ready with their own armaments. In another, the four members of Kaiser SF approached with their assault rifles at the ready. Their Commandant watching with eyes peeled, ready to give any necessary orders or even attack if needed.
A Kaiser SF Automaton gave a hand signal, and two of his comrades slowly walked ahead. Their guns trained at the teacher boy's body. One moved aside and stood up, the other lowered himself and poked the body with his gun's muzzle. No reaction.
The two turned to their fellow SF and Fox comrades.
"All clear!" One said with relief in his tone, the tension in the two squad's shoulders loosening. "Shit, that was..." He trailed off as he took in deep breaths to relax himself.
"We actually did it..." The second said with a nervous chuckle. "We won-"
[Sisu]
The boy Sensei's eyes opened and turned to the source of the mechanical voice.
[Blood Sword]
A red sword formed from his own puddle of blood. He grabbed it, and swung low on the two Automatons ankles. One managed to jump away, the other screamed as both of his legs were severed.
[Blood Golem]
The humanoid flesh shield arose from his blood, shielding him from the Fox Platoon and their faraway sniper as they immediately sprang onto action and started firing. Their bullets piercing only through the Blood Golem's skin.
Levi pulled the dismembered Automaton down with one hand, and another grabbing his Lugr and-
[Gunslinger]
Shooting his three nearby comrades, stunning them lone enough to leave Levi unobstructed as he grabbed the Blood Sword and plunged it through the first Automaton's head.
Sparks and mechanical fluids flowed out from his neck's internal wires as he spasmed... and eventually passed as the boy teacher twisted the blade.
"No! Retreat!" The SF Commandant shouted his order in a panic, the brutal loss of his underling shocking him. His remaining soldiers did as they were told, backing away as they fired at the revived demon using their dead comrade's body as a shield.
"Bastard!" One of them shouted. They knew they had to retreat as they were ordered, but they did not want to back down. "Surround and kill the motherfucker!" And so, they did.
"What the hell are you- oh, fuck it!" Their Commandant shouted in frustration, arming himself with the rocket launcher they first used. "I'll kill you if you die!" He shouted to his soldiers.
The three remaining SF soldiers kept firing at the teacher, one remaining still while two others moved to flank their enemy.
[Steal]
Levi grabbed his dead enemy's grenades, pulling all of the pins as he ordered the Blood Golem to turn around and switch their positions. Fox Platoon's gunfire riddled him with more bullets, none of which were effective as he still threw grenades at them.
Boom!
The grenade cluster's explosion scattered Fox Platoon, Yukino and Niko blown away as Kurumi struggled to keep her footing. Levi charged Fox Platoon as Blood Golem charged Kaiser SF.
Niko rolled away as she saw the Sensei about to stomp on her, the ground breaking apart as his foot smashed through it. He swung the red sword, forcing Niko to block with her shotgun which was split in half.
Levi lunged, reaching his hand out to grab Niko by the throat. He hissed as a bullet from afar tore through his forearm once again, gunfire from Kurumi and Yukino forcing him to block with his arms giving Niko the chance to flee.
Levi wanted to ask, to scream, what could have compelled his fox comrades to do such a thing? To side with the enemy, to attack him.
"Murderer!" Yukino shouted as she kept on firing, answering Levi's unasked question.
"They deserved it!" He shouted back.
Before any of them could say another thing, the Kaiser SF Commandant launched an RPG directly on Levi. The explosion pushing the his body to it's limits with his bones shattered and flesh torn from all the damage thus far.
The Blood Golem eventually fell, melting down into blood under Fox Platoon and Kaiser SF's combined firepower. They refocused on the Sensei struggling to push himself up, and simply started firing.
Hundreds upon hundreds of bullets tearing apart Levi's body, breaking it even more than it already was. Each and every impact threw him back, he could not move. He will die here if-
Boom!
Yukino and an SF soldier were blown away as a drone passed above them, the rest of their comrades pausing to make sense of the new arrival. Suddenly, more and more drones appeared. A dozen at least, all dropping munitions on the Sensei's attackers and forcing them to flee and take cover.
As they took new positions, a cat eared girl moved to their flanks unnoticed.
Ratatatatat!
She sprayed the special operators with rapid fire, crippling them until her magazine was emptied. But before they could recover and fire back, the cat girl swiftly reloaded with blue flames streaking from her gun.
Ratatatatat!
[Loving Whispers]
The new arrivals gave Levi the time he needed to recover and heal himself. His torn skin and flesh, his shattered bones all mended themselves with the Goddess of Love's light.
"Levi-Sensei, copy?" His eyes widened hearing a familiar voice from the Shittim Chest.
"Ayane?!"
"Yes, Serika-chan is also here." She replied, hee tone that of... disappointment. "They told us what you did."
"Huh?"
"Yeah, Sensei!" Levi turned to the second voice, and saw Serika dropping from a building and rushing to his side with a furious expression. "Hoshino-senpai didn't wanna help, and Shiroko only just found out."
"What... what the hell are you saying?" What are they doing in Shiratori? Why are they appearing at such a time? Such were the questions in Levi's head.
"You killed them, Sensei! Kaiser!" Serika snarled, grabbing what remained of Levi's collar in frustration. "I know they were jerks, but that was too much!"
"Too much?! Serika, they would have killed you!" The teacher and cat student bared their teeth at each other.
"Levi-Sensei, Serika. Now's not the time." Ayane spoke with a serious tone. "Sensei... we can talk about that later, let's deal with them first."
"... Yeah." Levi said with some hesitation, facing the reorganized Fox Platoon and Kaiser SF.
"And Sensei, no more killing... please." Ayane pleaded, and Levi... if a student begged, then he supposed he should oblige... or at least try.
Frontline
Valkyrie and SRT students fired and fired and fired at the seemingly endless wave of white robots, the barrels of their machine guns having been replaced several times now with many lying on the ground still glowing orange along with thousands of spent casings.
Boom! Boom!
Shells detonated in the air as they impacted the holographic mystic shields, the GSC President's protection keeping her army safe from artillery fire.
Boom! Boom!
Pandemonium Society tanks with Prefect Team infantry fired on the machine army, moving in coordination to link up with the Valkyrie-SRT front.
Ratatatatat!
A team of SRT attack helicopters let their auto cannons loose, tearing through swarms of drones as they then aimed their missiles down on the giant spider machine.
Boom! Boom!
The explosions blew through the First Prophet's shields, it's legs trembling as it struggled to remain upright.
Another team of attack helicopters cruised through the air, mystical shields protecting them from the Third Prophet's attacks. They launched their ordnance at the mechanic serpent, the attacks homing in on it's head as it roared in pain. The helicopters pulled up, avoiding the serpent's fiery counterattack.
"Rabbit Platoon, board your heli at once!" Miyako took in the GSC President's orders with confusion as she reloaded. After all, why her squad when there were many others? "Levi-kun needs support, he's being ambushed!" She relayed the orders to her squad in an instant.
Moe lowered her helicopter to pick her comrades up, and ascended as they entered and flew to the coordinates they were given.
"President , was that all, copy?" Miyako asked through the radio... and received nothing. "President , are you there?"
Infiltration
"President , please respond." The Rabbit Platoon Leader asked through the GSC President's terminal.
"Yes, Miyako. That will be all." She replied to her soldier. "Take care of Levi-kun."
"Copy that, Miss President." And with that, no more messages came.
turned to face Kaya, frowning as the little pinkette pointed a gun at her. Such displays were normally harmless in her city, but the manner in which Shiranui Kaya pointed a gun at her... it was treason. Betrayal.
The petite Chief of Defense was not alone, she brought in hostiles subservient to Gematria. Arius students who were threatening and hurting President 's beloved underlings.
"Kaya, what are you-"
"Focus on the civilian evacuations, Rin." The GSC President said with a smile... if it could even be called such a thing, as she interrupted Rin.
"President , tell me. Why? Why are you keeping him loose?" Kaya already knew the answer, yet she still hoped that her superhuman President had a better reason that what she overheard. "If Gematria and Kaiser was such a threat, then you should have allowed me to deal with it!"
"You were out of their league, Kaya-chan." The GSC President's demeaning answer coupled with her menacing false smile unnerved Kaya, despite the one having the high ground. "It was for your safety. I hope you understand, Kaya-chan."
"I understand that you're allowing a murderer to roam freely!" Kaya spat out.
"Murderer?" Rin asked in disbelief hearing the word, turning from her terminal and to Kaya.
"Levi-Sensei killed a lot of people, here in Kivotos." The Chief of Defense clarified to the Vice President, who's now turned to face their President with a horrified expression. "Even if they were enemies, they... they haven't-"
"Yes, I agree that Levi-kun went too far. But with Gematria and Kaiser joining together, they wouldn't have hesitated killing in the future." Even if she was right, such reasoning would never be accepted. "Levi-kun killing them... is a favorable accident, for the good of my citizens."
"President..." Rin trailed off, her hands shaking as her terminal dropped from her hands. President , her friend, always acted so cheerfully. So seeing her talk about such things calmly, smiling, it... scared her.
Kaya's glare on the GSC President intensified, her grip on the pistol tightening as her hands shook.
"This is... for your own good, Kaya-chan. I understand why you're upset. That's why... I'll overlook this if you just stop this nonsense." Of course, Kaya had no intentions of doing that. Not anymore at least.
Such discussions heard by the infiltrating Arius students... were enlightening to them. They knew the GSC only as an ally of their enemy, and the President furthered that sentiment. They were no longer fighting for their academy's salvation with an enemy like the GSC President, they were fighting for the good of Kivotos.
Such a righteous cause would steel their hearts and minds, they needed to share it to their comrades.
Cavalry
Serika kept Kaiser SF pinned under fire, and Ayane kept them running as her drones dropped munitions from above.
Ratatatatat!
Kurumi emptied her magazine on Levi, the young teacher not even flinching as each bullet tore through his flesh. He thrusted with Blood Sword, the blonde fox's shield easily deflecting the blade.
Levi kicked on Kurumi's shield with all his might, the force throwing the Pointwoman back and onto her knees.
[Flesh Puppetry]
He summoned two floating hands as he charged the other two Fox Platoon members, the floating hands trying to forcefully pull Kurumi's submachine gun away from her and the other tugging on her hair.
Ratatatatat! Bang! Bang!
Yukino and Niko shot at Levi with assault rifle and a pistol, the bullets tearing through the boy teacher's flesh but doing seemingly no damage as it has been.
[Melee Proficiency]
Levi roared as he swung at Yukino, the platoon leader instinctually parrying with her gun as she kicked the Sensei. Pulling out a combat knife, Yukino blocked his oncoming attack with her elbow while her armed hand stabbed Levi in the gut.
From behind him, Niko locked Levi's joints and restrained his arm. The restraint paralyzing his right arm and letting go of the Blood Sword.
"Why?! Why did you kill those people?!" Yukino demanded, twisting the blade in Levi's stomach as hard as she could with no reaction from the Sensei.
"They were hurting my students... they would've killed them!" He shouted back.
"Then you should have gone to us! You should have asked us for help!" Niko shouted as she struggled to keep Levi's arm restrained. His other arm reaching back and barely missing the Fox Sergeant.
[Barefist Proficiency] [Escape Plan]
With his free left hand, Levi threw a straight fist at Yukino and forcing her back. He then swung his body downwards, throwing Niko away from himself and slamming her on the ground with the concrete breaking apart.
The boy Sensei threw a punch down on Niko who turned her head away, barely dodging the blow. Yukino charges Levi with a kick, throwing him off of Niko as the Fox leader threw hands.
Kurumi finally managed to shoot the floating hands, she holsters her pistol and reloaded her primary. Grabbing her shield, she rushes to her comrades sides.
Yukino blocked, dodged, and redirected precise and powerful blows from the boy teacher. Her pulse running as she had only split seconds to avoid each powerful blow. A kick to the stomach broke her guard for a moment, giving Levi a chance to knock her up out.
Thankfully, the blow would never come as Niko tackled the Sensei. The Sergeant pushed him away with all of her might, stabbing him with her own combat knife. Each stab would come with a spurt of blood everytime she pulled the knife back.
Levi raised his arm to drop his elbow on Niko, but it would never come as his right arm was riddled with bullets. Kurumi slammed her shield on Levi's back, and locked his right arm with her's from behind.
Yukino ran towards the restrained Sensei, and slammed her fist on his face. She roars as she repeatedly punched him in the face, blood staining her fist as Levi's nose was broken.
Yukino pulled her pistol out, aiming it directly on Levi's head. "Any last words, murderer?!" He's already shown he had no regrets killing, she cannot take any chances.
Levi does not answer back, merely baring his teeth and glaring at Yukino.
"So be it then!" Yukino shouted as she-
Boom!
A missile detonated right next to them, the force of the explosion scattering the combatants away from one another. Fox Platoon scrambled to keep up the attack on Levi before he could use his healing magic.
Bang!
Otogi fired from afar, her bullet tearing through Levi's neck. He limped, head thrown back with blood gushing from his neck. Yet he still lived, raising his head to glare directly at Otogi through her scope.
She saw it, the teacher forming the dark orb of destruction in his hand. He launched it before Otogi could fire, the black orb speeding towards the building she resided and obliterating the lower floors and the rest crumbling down.
A helicopter's whirring echoed around the battlefield, smoke and debris flown away as Rabbit Platoon's helicopter was spotted by everyone present.
Adjusting the angle of attack, Moe reluctantly launched missiles more missiles down on... her senpais.
Boom! Boom!
Miyako and Saki rappelled down while Fox Platoon was disorientated. They rushed to Levi's side, guarding him as he pushed himself up.
[Loving Whispers]
Once again, the healing light mends his damaged body. "You two?" He asked, catching his breath.
"Yes, Sensei. President sent us to support you." Miyako explained.
"Senpai... what the hell are you doing?!" Saki shouted to the senpais she admired, with Miyako glaring at the three.
"Miyako, Saki..." Yukino trailed off, unsure of what to tell her kouhais. With what they saw her doing, they would decry the truth as mere lies.
"Levi-Sensei killed people, we're here to bring him to justice!" Kurumi explained.
"Bullshit!" Saki shouted, aiming her gun.
"You joined the attack on Kivotos, and you expect us to believe that?!" Miyako questioned with rage, the admiration she felt for her Fox senpais replaced by a feeling of betrayal. "Traitors!"
Yukino, Niko, and Kurumi felt those words as if it were a punch to the stomach. Even if their beloved kouhais believed them, they still attacked Kivotos as a whole.
"Retreat!" Yukino shouted, much to her peers shock. "The mission has failed! We're pulling out!" She added, pulling out a flashbang as she turned tail.
Bang!
Rabbit Platoon and Levi were momentarily blinded and deafened with Fox Platoon gone.
"Sensei, we managed to chase off Kaiser SF." Ayane reported through the Shittim Chest, just as Levi saw Serika running towards him.
"I can't believe it, we went against special forces dudes and won." Serika spoke to herself with a hint of pride.
"Good. Anyway, where's Miyu?" Levi asked the Rabbit Platoon Leader and Pointwoman.
"She's... somewhere, waiting to support us through sniper fire." Saki explained with a hint of confusion, unsure of how she lost the reclusive girl's location.
"Yes. And before you ask, the frontline is doing well, Sensei." Miyako reported, much to Levi's relief. "Sensei... were they telling the truth?" She asked, now that she had the time to think about it.
"No matter, we still have work to do." Miyako spoke with a sigh before anyone could say anything.
"Yeah, Trinity needs our help." And to Trinity they will go.
Mission Failure
Fox Platoon and Kaiser SF ran and ran, using the buildings as cover to hide from Rabbit Platoon's helicopter.
"Madame Beatrice, this is Yukino reporting! We have failed!" She shouted to her radio.
"Why am I not surprised?" The woman said, clicking her tongue in annoyance.
"Shot him in the head! I shot him in the head!" Otogi raised her voice, trying to recompose herself.
"Tsk. Is that so? Are you sure you didn't just miss?"
"We saw it. It pierced his skull and he just got back up like it was nothing!" Kurumi exclaimed.
"One of my men perished. The bastard just refused to die!" The Kaiser SF Commandant exclaimed. "We tore him apart with everything we had, and the fucker just refused to die!"
For Fox Platoon and Kaiser SF, the demon in human skin might as well be immortal. As far as they were concerned, no matter how much of the Sensei's flesh, bones, and organs were torn asunder, it did not matter.
"I see..." Was the only thing Beatrice could say, unnerved by the prospect of their murder happy enemy being unkillable. "I suppose it is time then?"
"No! Not yet!" Niko shouted in alarm. "There are innocents there! Students by his side and civilians!"
"Yes. Maybe... maybe we can still kill him." Yukino said with a trembling voice. "You said you had an elite squad?" Perhaps she thought, maybe they would have better chances with three elite special forces squads.
"Yes, and they just finished up Trinity." Fox Platoon grimaced at such words. "Retreat and reorganize with my forces." Yukino could at least sigh out of relief, for the use of their last resort would be delayed.
Hell On Earth
The Madame of Arius lied. If the Sensei and his forces came any closer, then her forces would be caught in the blast. The alliance entrusted the weapon to her, and she would make it count.
From it's silo, another supersonic weapon prepared to launch. The silo opened, the warhead armed, the missile ready. It begins it's launch as the orders were given and up. It. Went.
Just as the first supersonic missile, it appeared only as a split second blur to anyone watching. Rocketing to it's destination and reaching it in mere seconds.
It detonated. Right above the young Sensei, five of his students, and everyone else close to the blast.
The buildings which were damaged by the first missile were reduced to ashes, the blast matching the first weapon's power. The thermaboric warhead then set everything ablaze, even the very air around the blast radius. Oxygen, the very air that people breath, were ignited. It would snuff life out without discrimination.
Levi felt the fire scorching him inside and out, his screams drowned out by the sizzling flames. He watched, helpless as the same were done to his students. He saw them flailing their arms, expressions of anguish, suffocating as the air which gave them life became the fire scorching them.
He watched helplessly in terror as they dropped to their knees, their eyes dimming as they slowly lost consciousness. The flames finally burning their skin and flesh as their haloes crack... and eventually shatter.
Finally... the flames fizzled out. Breathable air returned... for those still alive at least. Levi tried to scream, yet only gurgles came through his broken and scorched throat.
[Healing Whispers]
He rushed to his fallen students side, the widespread healing light mending his own wounds yet... not of his students.
Saki screamed as she snapped awake, her burnt flesh healed, arm outstretched to the sky as she whimpered. Levi rejoiced for she still lived, yet the others...
[Healing Whispers] [Healing Whispers] [Healing Whispers] [Healing Whispers]
No matter how much he tried to heal them, they simply wouldn't. Their bodies remained half scorched, their wounds were not mending, their eyes remained lifeless.
"S-Sensei..." Saki trailed off as she whimpered and sobbed, her wet eyes on the body before her. "M-Miyako... she... she..." Her platoon leader saved her, giving Saki the air she had left before covering her mouth. The Rabbit Platoon's Pointwoman couldn't say it as she cried, embracing what remained of her platoon leader.
"M-Moe, where..." Saki stuttered, slowly turning her head and looking for the helicopter, only to freeze at the sight of it's burning wreckage. She did not have to imagine what became of the pilot. The only thing she could do was keep on crying.
Levi... suddenly bit into his fingers, growling in pain as he bit through the bone and tore his left fingers off.
[Magna Medical]
With a desperate bloody smile, he offered his severed fingers and a prayer to the Gods. To bring his students back to life. The healing light gathering around his students burnt bodies... and nothing.
"N-no... did I d-do it wrong?" Levi whimpered as he looked down on his severed fingers with despair sinking in.
[Magna Medical]
He tried to pray again, yet nothing came. Levi's mind was in turmoil, on the verge of breaking down and shattering entirely. Perhaps he offered the wrong body parts. Maybe he was supposed to cut his entire arm off?
[Magna Medical]
Levi tried again... and still, they remained dead. He cried, futilely praying and trying to offer parts of his own body to revive his students. The Gods... did not accept his offerings.
Fox Platoon and Kaiser SF simply stared, frozen as they took in the sight of the now scorched city.
"Moe-chan's helicopter..." Niko muttered out with a lifeless stare, tears running down her cheeks. She saw it, she saw her kouhais burning helicopter dropping from the sky.
"Miyako... Saki..."
"Miyu..."
"You bitch..." Kurumi muttered to her radio, to the Madame of Arius. The woman does not respond.
"What now?" The SF Commandant asked with a defeated tone. Killing the Sensei and avenging his fallen comrades was one thing, but now... Kivotos would hunt them down, and certainly hang them. At least if the Sensei does not reach them first.
"W-we... we..." Yukino sobbed, unable to let her words out as she silently cried gritting her teeth. "W-we started this... we have... we have to see it t-through." Her body trembled as she tried to walk forward, she breathes heavily as she cries.
Yukino forced her own body to keep walking, and her fellow platoon members followed. Their Automaton comrades following as well.
Finale
In a quick flash of blue, a group wearing Valkyrie uniforms appeared around the grieving young Sensei. Among them is Shiranui Kaya, turning her head left and right in a panic at the unexpected teleportation.
"Levi-kun! They caused all of this! Kaya and Fox Platoon allied themselves with our enemy!" Levi kept his gaze on his dead students bodies, the GSC President's words slowly sinking into him.
Ratatatatat!
The disguised Arius students opened fire on Levi, riddling him with bullets once more. Saki aimed and tried to fire, but couldn't with parts of her weapon having been melted.
Levi did not care for the pain. He stared at his current attackers, the knowledge that they are at fault for his students deaths willing him to stand up.
He will kill them! He will kill them all!
[Longinus]
The God of Hatred's lance formed in his hand, crying as he threw himself forward. The Arius students pressed on the attack, unknowing of what awaited them.
Levi swung the lance, the haloed enemies freezing as they saw their comrade losing her arm as blood splattered. He swung again, killing once again. For a moment, it's as if time stopped for the rest of his enemies.
They watched as two of their comrades were slain, their haloes not protecting them from the boy Sensei's blade. Kaya's mind froze for a moment, the fact sinking in as she saw the blood splatters staining the ground red. Terror setting in as she saw their haloes shattering.
"R-run!" Kaya shouted as the horrific realization came, turning tail and running. Followed by her Arius comrades, who realized the same thing. Their haloes protection was nothing to the Sensei's blade.
They tried to fight as Levi charged, yet all were cut down. Dismembered or killed, they were left to cry as they bled. He swung the unholy lance left and right, cutting down them all down until only Kaya remained.
Levi didn't want to kill Kaya, he could not bring himself to do so. But he still could not let her go. Kaya screamed as Levi sliced at her ankles, dropping to the ground as she was crippled.
The young Sensei looked on the distance... and saw Trinity. They still need his help. He has to help them. He can't let any more of his students die! He started sprinting towards Trinity.
Nearby, a group of five girls and a white automaton sneaked through the alleys. They grimaced at the sight of burnt corpses, their expressions hardened at the sight of their Arius comrades dead and dying.
They have to bring the Sensei down now. That was their self imposed mission.
Lucy pressed her matrix device's button, time slowed for her as she blurred rushing towards the Sensei. She scaled whatever building she could, making her way closer to the monster with her blade ready.
Finally, she reached him. Lucy jumped high up, the force of gravity supporting her blade as she struck. Only, she felt a sudden chill, hairs in her body rising as her stomach sunk.
The demon moved. Enough to turn around as her katana swung, enough to swing back with his unholy lance.
A scream came from the black-red haired girl as she saw her hands… both slowly separated from her wrists as the blood splatter remained in the air. Pain and fear clouded Lucy's entire self, unable to move as she's still in midair.
The device eventually gave out and time flowed normally. A scream came from the black-red haired girl as she fell, her severed hands plopping off the ground as blood flowed.
"No!"
"Sis'!"
"Lucy!"
Her friends and her precious sister screamed for her, absolute panic filling their systems as they aimed and fired. Blanca let her arrow loose, Karen fired her grenade launcher, Qing sniped his vitals, Eugene and Laura riddled the monster with bullets.
Levi tilted his head, avoiding the electric-tipped arrow as it whizzed past him. He batted away the grenades, prematurely detonating the munitions before reaching him. The rest of the gunfire, he could simply ignore.
He glared at the now handless, screaming girl under him. Lucy's rapidly pulsing heart skipped a beat, absolute terror setting in as she saw the demon looking down on her.
At her last moments, she asked; why? How did this happen? I don't want to die! I want to be with Laura! She never wanted to-
He sunk the blade through her stomach, and Lucy's cries gasped to a halt as blood flowed.
Her friends froze at the sight, her sister…
"No!" The white-orange Automaton roared as he charged, riddling Levi bullets. The rapid firing from two guns forced him back. "Damn you!"
Levi slashed with the lance, severing one of the Automaton's weapons. Once the machine-man got close enough, he tackled the young teacher down on the ground.
"This is for my brothers!" Eugene spat as he smashed his iron fist on the boy's face, a crack reverberating as he bared his teeth. "And this is for Lucy!" He aimed his best friend's gun down, and pulled the trigger.
This was it! He was finally giving his brothers, and the poor swordswoman the justice they rightfully deserve!
[Levi-Sensei! Shields have been refilled to 10%!]
The gunfire flashed the two fighting men's figure orange, spent casings ejected as the lead projectiles blasted down on the young teacher. Only… none hit their mark.
Eugene hoped his visual receptors were simply malfunctioning, but no… the demon was shielded by an invisible force. The mechanical Paladin's bullets were repelled, each and every one.
[Sensei, please eliminate all hostiles before my shield is depleted!]
The young Sensei pushed the machine-man off of himself, clutching onto the mechanoid's right arm and tearing it apart. Electronics sparking, flames bursting as fluids leaked.
The mercenary girls shot at Levi as he kicked Eugene away, nailing him down to the ground with his lance.
Quickly, the monster scooped up the assault rifle from Eugene's severed arm. "No! Don't you dare-" His screams of fury and despair were ignored, and Levi simply took aim and fired.
[Marksmanship]
Levi shot through Qing's rifle, breaking the mechanisms and reducing it to a mere spear. He shot through Karen's grenade launcher, the explosion blowing her away. Her body trembled as she tried to force herself up.
"N-no! This can't be!" Blanca exclaimed in panic as she rushed to draw her bow and arrow. But before she could even aim, a shot rang out—her primitive weapon shot out of her hand. The string broke, and the bow's structure was broken. "God damn it!"
He was approaching. He was going to kill their friends, as he did Lu-
"Stay away from them!" Laura cried as she fired and fired, her bullets uselessly falling to nowhere. Tears flowing from her eyes, tears from her beloved older sister's death, tears for what she knew was coming.
Again, another shot rang out. And a bullet shot through her gun, the scope and complicated internal mechanisms were destroyed. Laura froze, staring—despairing as she observed the damages.
She could no longer help, she was defenseless. Even worse, she could do nothing but watch.
"No! Kill me! Just kill me!" Eugene cried out, thrashing and desperately trying to free himself from the impalement. "Leave them alone! I'm your enemy, not them!"
The demon- Sensei ignored the machine-man's pleas. His students died because of them, they killed his students. Why should he stop?
He yanked the Longinus out of the mechanoid, metal and broken electronic organs scattered as he kicked the machine away. Then, Levi charged at the rest of the mercenary girl's.
Almost immediately, Qing found that the demon in human skin was already in front of her. She scrambled to deflect the lance thrust away from her chest, heart pounding as she futilely backed away.
When she saw Levi overextend, Qing roared in a mix of fear, anguish, and determination as she threw herself forward thrusted her bayonet.
The demon Sensei quickly moved away, swiftly dodging the attack and weaving past Qing's guard. Time slowed for the oriental Empress, feet scrambling to move herself away as she hastily tried to block the next attack.
Qing gasped, a choke coming as she felt it— a blade cutting through her stomach, her innards were pierced. She could feel her insides pulsing around the demon's lance.
As the lance was forcefully yanked out of her stomach, blood gushing from the lethal wound, Qing saw the Sensei, the blue on his face glistening, preparing for a killing blow.
Before the slash came however, an explosion bursted behind Levi. He turned, facing the short white-haired girl.
"Oi! You sick fuck, I'm here!" Karen screamed; furious, mourning, and most of all, afraid. Munitions belt around her body, and two unpinned grenades in each hand. "Come and get me, shit face!" Without question, Levi charged.
Karen roared as she charged back, hands opening up slightly to release the grenade levers. She threw the first one, detonating upon impact with an invisible force.
Before she could throw the second however, Karen saw the demon throwing himself forward. And before she could act, pain. Gut wrenching pain shot through her chest, a blade rending into her heart.
She felt herself rising, gasping and choking in blood as she cried. The pain tugged on her stomach, the force pulling her down letting the blade butcher her slowly.
With the last of her strength, Karen's trembling hand raised the last grenade she held. A moment passed, and the explosion came. Only, as the dust settled, the Sensei was unharmed.
Qing, holding her pierced stomach. Eugene, pushing himself up. Blanca and Laura, bearing witness. They all trembled, absolute despair and misery overwhelmed them.
Levi set his sight on the blonde and the white-haired girl from afar, and Eugene noticed. He could not allow it.
He charged with all his might, electronics and hydraulics in his limbs going overdrive. As the demon turned to face him, he bashed his steel body against the Sensei.
Or at least tried to, an invisible force had protected the murderer. Another slash came, and Eugene's last arm and a leg was destroyed. Before he could comprehend what had happened, the lance pierced him once again.
The orange lights in Eugene's body dimmed, the hums from within ceased as he remained lifeless. He never had a chance to bring Levi to justice.
The demon Sensei watched as the oriental student limped to her black-red haired friend's remains. Qing quickly mourned Lucia, shutting her wide terror-filled eyes and letting her rest.
With a nervous breath, Qing took hold of the matrix device. She forced herself up straight, watching nervously as the Sensei approached her, his unholy spear glistening in Lucy's blood.
"Y-you… demon!" She gasped, choking and coughing out blood which stained her mouth. "You don't belong here!" She shouted with whatever little strength she had.
Levi ignored the girl's wail, and he simply dashed forward and thrusted Longinus. Qing pressed the matrix device, and time slowed for her, letting her deflect the coming attack.
Even as the world slowed down, the demon armed with a lance was still swift. Qing gripped her teeth, flailing her spear-bayonet and deflecting the blows intended to end her.
With each clashing of lance and bayonet, Qing was forced back, and grew weaker. She was losing blood, she would perish, she knew well enough.
Qing did not want to die, yet— for her friends, both the already passed on, the Automatons who cared for them, and the two remaining living; Qing had to fight. She could at least buy Blanca and Laura some time!
The matrix device gave out, and time resumed to flow normally. Qing barely deflected a thrust from Longinus, barely holding herself up as she forced it back. Her head was spinning, her vision darkened.
As Qing raised her spear-bayonet, she charged for one last strike. For her friends, her comrades, and for herself. But before she could, Qing lost consciousness.
The oriental girl passed Levi, her body dropping limp on the ground. Her blood stains were heavy and widespread, obvious signs of her inevitable death. Levi did not utter anything, he only glared on the black-green haired girl's body before kicking it. He turned to face where he last saw the remaining two girls.
Tears poured from Blanca's eyes, desperately trying to stop herself from crying out loud. She could not mourn yet, lest she get herself and the youngest among her group killed.
She held Laura in her arms; squirming, thrashing, and crying. Blanca's hands covered her mouth, her other arm keeping Laura close to herself. Muffled shouts and cries from Laura came.
She had just lost her friends, and her beloved older sister. Laura wanted to scream.
Blanca tightened her embrace over Laura, bringing the grieving younger sister closer to herself. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She whispered, trying to comfort Laura as best she could. Even as Blanca herself despaired in grief.
Finally, three of Fox Platoon and Kaiser SF arrived. Albeit, a little too late as they saw their dead comrades.
"He's still alive." Yukino muttered to her radio, and to the Madame of Arius.
Levi charged the traitors without a second thought. Kurumi dashed forward with her shield ready just as Levi thrusted the lance. The lance went through her shield and through her abdomen.
For a moment, everything was still. Their minds desperately trying to comprehend the sight before them, a blade going through the Pointwoman's stomach.
Kurumi stared on the blade going through her flesh, eyes wide in shock and disbelief as her uniform turned red from the leaking blood. She tried to scream, a mix of fear and burning pain, yet she could only whimper with a trembling voice.
Levi yanked it back, the shield splitting in half as blood gushed from Kurumi's wound. Kurumi dropped to the ground, clutching her wounds as the pain paralyzed her. The warmth of her body slowly leaving.
Yukino, Niko, and Otogi from afar looked on in horror at their dying friend. Yet the undying monster still remained. They forced their attention away from Kurumi, and back to the demon as he charged them.
Fox Platoon and Kaiser shot and shot and shot at the demon Sensei, yet their bullets were rendered useless by an invisible shield. Fear and anxiety filling their senses as Levi came close so quickly, knowing that he was practically unkillable, yet he could kill them with ease.
In a split second, the demon had dashed past the automatons and towards their Commandant. The mechanoids turned to see their leader's head being torn off, wiring and hydraulics stretched to its limits in his neck before breaking apart.
They fired again, only to hear clicks as they finally ran out of bullets. They then pulled out combat knives as they charged the Sensei, with one immediately being cut in half as his last two comrades tackled Levi and the other lunged to wrestle the lance away from him.
[Combustion]
The Sulfurite called upon an explosion on himself, the two machine men reduced to burning scrap metal. The flames had little effect on the caster. He turned to face Fox Platoon, and saw Yukino aiming her gun with Niko trying to seal Kurumi's fatal wound.
Yukino heaved, her hands shaking as she aimed at Sensei. She was afraid, so much so that her legs trembled. Her halo always protected her, as did her comrades with their own. Knowing that protection to be of no effect was a paralyzing fear, especially when one of her dear comrades is already dying.
The Fox Platoon leader screamed as Levi charged, firing her useless bullets on the demon without any effect. The demon swung his blade... and Yukino froze, staring in fear and horror.
Her left arm fell off, blood gushing from the stump. She looked on in terror, her now only hand tightly holding her left stump as she backed away. Yukino, for the first time, whimpered. She cried and whimpered as the demon approached, his unholy lance ready to cut her and her comrades apart. She cried knowing that she will die, she cried knowing that her comrades will die, she cried knowing that she had a hand in her kouhais deaths.
Yukino screamed out in pain as the demon slashed through her right leg, and she tumbled down by Niko's side. They both stared upwards as the murderer towered over them, eyes wide in fear as they desperately wished to be spared.
Bang!
A bullet bounced from A.R.O.N.A'S protection, and Levi ignored the sniper fire. He kept his eyes on Niko, fearfully awaiting what the demon would do. She did not want to run away, even as her senses screamed at her to do so. She could not leave her comrades.
Levi simply aimed his hand at a faraway building... and simply launched the dark sphere of death. Niko froze as the entire top half of the building was obliterated, and Otogi in the distance...
She had no way of escaping unlike the last time. Large pieces of the building dropping down on her, the floor beneath her feet crumbling as gravity pulled her down.
Levi then started sprinting to Trinity. Yukino and Niko... could only stare as Levi got further, relieved that they were spared... yet afraid for what would become of Arius. They despaired, wailing at Kurumi's condition and Otogi... she could be...
Niko shook the thoughts off. She focused on what was in front of her, Yukino crippled and missing one arm and Kurumi... her internal organs were pierced and slashed. Niko would try her damnedest to save her comrades.
A barely conscious Kurumi saw as Niko rushed to her side, trying desperately to seal the bloody hole in her abdomen. It would be the very last thing she sees before losing consciousness.
"H-how... how could we have b-beaten him?" Yukino whimpered as she felt pain and helplessness, tears staining her cheeks as she cried. " How... just how..." It was a fight without their haloes protection, a fight which Levi exceeded in. How could they have beaten him?
"T-that doesn't matter now!" Niko screamed, hastily wrapping her leader's slashed leg and severed arm. Sealing and tying it as tight as she could to stop the bleeding. "What matters is that we're alive... we're..." Niko trailed off with a sob, Otogi and Kurumi's conditions coming to her mind.
Arius would be on the chopping block, all of them. Dread filled Yukino and Niko, knowing that Levi was coming for them. And the only thing they could do was to wait in terror, knowing they was nothing they could do to stop it.
Short Lived Victory
The Arius Squad Leader desperately shot at the Sensei, desperately trying to kill the monster which cut her many comrades down. Yet even she would fall, as the blade plunged through her heart.
Levi yanked the Longinus lance out of the last Arius enemy, a dark blue haired girl with a mask. Once he arrived in Trinity, it was practically over for the Arius crusaders.
He killed them. He killed them all. His students... his students...
He began running around the war torn academy, looking for any signs of his missing students hoping they still lived. Finally, he saw two. Mine and Tsurugi, along with many others.
[Healing Whispers]
He quickly called upon the mass healing spell, rejoicing as he saw their wounds being sealed. They lived, they still lived! He shed tears of relief as he cried.
He began looking for more student as soon as Mine and Tsurugi opened their eyes, casting his healing magic with every student he saw. Levi did not care for the head splitting pain that came with using magic too much, he simply wanted to heal his students.
Levi then made his way up the Tea Party headquarters, healing all the incapacitated students he came across on the way towards the Tea Party Triumvirate.
Levi heard someone crying, he runs faster upon recognizing the voice. It's Misono Mika, face and clothes stained with blood as she hysterically cried with a delirious smile.
"S-Sensei... It's not my fault... It's not... It's n-not..." Mika whimpered out, looking down on her blood stained hands. "Nagi-chan... Seia... it's not... it's not my fault..." Levi despaired, knowing what most likely happened to the two.
[Persuasion]
"It's not, Mika. How could you think that?" He asked, reassured as he comforted the pink haired girl. "It's them. They attacked us, how could it be you fault?" He kept on reassuring Mika, embracing her warmly.
"I thought... I thought they w-wanted peace." Levi listened as he comforted Mika, humming a lullaby as the princess cried. "I t-thought... they said it was a g-gift, Levi-Sensei!" Mika cried out, tightly holding Levi as she cried into his shoulder.
"They said it was a peace offering!" Levi's mind froze as Mika cried those words out, but he still comforted the girl. "I b-brought it here... like they asked. Then... t-then..."
"Shush, Mika. It's not your fault, not your fault." Levi comforted and reassured Mika as best as he could, ignoring what her words implied. "Don't think about it, it could never be your fault." Mika sniffled, burying herself into her Sensei's shoulder.
Rabbit
Miyu cried, her heart palpitating as she thought about her comrades and Sensei. "R-Rabbit 1, p-please respond!" Miyu cried out, gripping her radio as if her life depended on it.
"Rabbit 2... Rabbit 3..." She sniffled and sobbed, a hand grasping over her rapidly beating heart. "Please... anyone..." She cried and begged.
Rabbit Platoon was her home, her family. Without them, Miyu was nothing. Without Rabbit Platoon, Miyu was nothing. Now that Rabbit Platoon is gone...
The thought always terrified her. Now that she lives in that reality, she might as well just die.
Her heart palpitations intensified as did her cries. Miyu dropped the now useless radio, both of her hands grasping over her heart as she cried and despaired.
Miyu's thoughts were in disarray. She should just die, she needed to die. She wanted to join them, her Rabbit Platoon, her family in the other side. She had nothing now, she had no one. She should-
"Miyu!" Her thoughts came to a halt as she heard the familiar voice. "Thank goodness, you're safe!" Miyu turned to Saki, her helmet missing and uniform torn and scratched.
Miyu threw herself at Saki, her arms wrapping tightly around the Pointwoman as she cried out of relief. Saki... was unsure of how to proceed, for the Platoon leader was the one who always comforted the sniper.
"There, there. Miyu." Saki comforted, her hands hesitantly caressing Miyu and comforting the crying girl. "I'm here... I'm here for you." She said with a smile, tears running down her cheeks as she herself cried.
They were the last two living members of Rabbit Platoon.
Fox
Niko was found and arrested by whatever force the GSC and Valkyrie managed to scrounge up from the frontline. Yukino would live, even missing an arm and one leg crippled.
Kurumi however... Kivotos has no means to save her from her wounds, the life support system would only keep her alive for a short time. Niko and Yukino wept at such facts, their Pointwoman will disappear forever and it's only a matter of time.
As for Otogi, she still remains missing. Not enough emergency responders to dig her out of the rubble.
Glimmer Of Hope
Levi found Ayane's body, and rejoiced as the healing light mended the burns on her scarred body.
[Levi-Sensei, her vitals are faint. Please bring her to an infirmary, ASAP.] A.R.O.N.A said, and so Levi did.
Carefully carrying Ayane, the young Sensei rushed to the nearest hospital A.R.O.N.A directed him to.
A/N: Happy New Year, and get traumatized.
I legit almost let out a little tear when writing the scene with Mika and Miyu, I don't know why only there out of the rest. I off screened the Saori fight because I'm writing that anyways on the main timeline. Anyways, I hope I pulled everything off decently, and Happy New Year brothers.
Edit jan 5: edited the Fox Platoon/Kaiser SF annihilation scene, and tweaking the Kaya/Arius mob annihilation scene.
