Class Rep Decision by Lunch Panic
"Pick me, guys! I wanna be class rep!" Eijiro smiled, wanting the position.
"I'll do it." Denki raised his hand.
"Yeah, you're gonna need me." Kyoka said, also raising her hand.
"Someone with style would be best." Yuga proclaimed, but Mina interrupted him at the end.
"I'm, like, totally the right pick!" Mina excitedly.
Izuku:In a normal classroom, a representative's duties would just be a bunch of extra work. But here in the Hero Course, there's more to it. It's a way to get noticed by agencies and prove you can lead a team like a real pro.
Izuku looks around seeing his classmates trying to get themselves selected to be class reps even though some of them don't exactly scream leader, but he also wants the position hoping that he could get somewhere with this.
The only ones who don't seem interested in wanting to become class representative is Hitomi and Tasuku as they don't feel like getting involved with leadership stuff, too boring in their own opinion and just want to do some exciting stuff like fighting villains.
Izuku wanted to raise his hand to make himself known for wanting the position as well, but then Tenya spoke up.
"Silence, everyone, please!" Tenya shouted. This got everyone to stop yelling and turn their attention on him.
"The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not something just anyone can do, you must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically." Tenya stated.
"We will hold an election to choose our leader!" Tenya suggested, with his right hand raise in the air.
"It's pretty obvious you want us to vote for you." The other students pointed out the obvious.
"Is this really the bet idea?" Denki wondered.
"We've only known each other for a few days, how do we know who we can trust?" Tsuyu pointed out.
"Besides, everyone'll just vote for themselves." Eijiro added.
"Most people will, but that means whoever does receive multiple votes must truly be the most suitable person for the job." Tenya explained.
"It's the best way, right, sir?" Tenya asked the teacher who just zip up his sleeping bag.
"Do what you want, just decide before my nap's over." Aizawa said before falling into his nap.
"It looks like we'll be having an election then. Please be sure to think it over on who you actually want to lead this class aside from yourself, whatever the result will be of your decision." Rio said.
"Thank you for your trust!" Tenya thanked.
(Ten Minutes Later)
The voting cast is in, and Rio has written the result on the chalkboard to show the two students who have gotten the most votes, Izuku Midoriya with four votes and Momo Yaoyorozu with only three votes.
"Here is what you spoken of." Rio gestured to the chalkboard.
"How did I get five votes!" Izuku was shocked that he actually got voted at all with one being from himself.
"Okay, you idiots, who voted for him?" Katsuki demanded in rage.
"What? Did you honestly think anyone was gonna vote for you?" Hanta asked with a small grin which only made Katsuki a little angrier.
"(Maybe I'll just keep my vote to myself.)" Ochaco thought whistled innocently. Not wanting Bakugo to yell at her.
"Zero votes…" Tenya groaned, his body shaking from not having a single vote for himself.
"I feared this might happen, but I can't argue with the system I chose!" Tenya said to himself while his classmates look at him a little weirded out.
"So, you voted for someone else, huh?" Momo guessed correctly.
"But you knew it was the best to vote for yourself, right? What were you tryin' to prove here, Iida?" Rikido asked.
Izuku and Momo are standing together in front of their classmates with the former shaking nervously and surprised that he actually got more votes than he expected, he can already feel the pressure on his shoulders.
"Alright, the class rep is Midoriya, and our deputy is Yaoyorozu." Aizawa declared.
"Really? Uh, it's not a mistake?" Izuku asked, shaking like a leaf of being suddenly nominated as leader of Class 1-A.
"How'd this happen?" Momo sighed.
"We're counting on you two to keep our class safe and well-educated." Rio smiled with her hands on their shoulders.
"This might not be so bad. Ribbit." Tsuyu smiled.
"Yeah, I can get behind Midoriya, I guess." Eijiro smiled, agreeing to this.
"Yaoyorozu was totally on top of it when it came to our training results!" Denki mentioned.
Tenya just sat at his desk quietly with a slight expression shows that he is a little hurt about not winning the election but not upset about it either.
(Lunchtime)
"Hmm, it's always so crowed in here." Ochaco noticed as she looks around the cafeteria.
"That's because students in the support, management, and hero course all share the same cafeteria." Tenya explained.
"Just like in my former student days. Sure brings back memories." Rio smiled as she looks around, feeling the memories of her days at UA High coming back into her mind.
"Was the rice back then as delicious as this one too because it sure is!" Ochaco complimented on the rice.
"I think it was back when Lunch Rush just started out working in the cafeteria." Rio said, then notices Izuku looking a little down as he lets out a sigh.
"Are you worry about being Class Representative?" Rio asked.
"Yeah, it's just so much… I'm not sure if I'm qualified." Izuku said, worried that he might mess up.
"Sure you are." Ochaco believed Deku will be just fine if he has a little more confidence in himself.
"You'll be great." Tenya believed that as well.
"Your courage and quick thinking under stress will help you make a worthy leader, not to mention the strength you've demonstrated. Those are the reasons I voted for you, at least." Tenya revealed himself to be one of the three voters.
"You were one of the three?" Izuku was surprised to find out Tenya really voted for him.
"Didn't you wanna be class rep really badly, I mean you do look the part. 'Cause of the glasses." Ochaco commented.
"(Yeah, that's not exactly how we should be choosing our rep.)" Izuku thought nervously at Ochaco.)" Izuku thought stated.
"Ochaco, there's more to being a leader like a class representative than just looking the part. You have to know how to lead the people by setting an example of why they should follow that person." Rio pointed out.
"I take it you had experience in leading a group." Tenya guessed.
"Not quite, just something I picked up from others." Rio said. Tenya accepts that.
"Wanting a job and being suited to it are quite different things. Observing the Iida family's hero agency has taught me that much." Tenya said.
"Agency?" Izuku and Ochaco were surprised to hear Tenya mention his family has a hero agency.
"Hold on, what does your family do?" Izuku asked.
"Oh, it's… nothing." Tenya tried to brush off the subject, not wanting to talk about his family right now.
"Y'know, I've been wondering something about you. Admit it, Iida. You're filthy rich!" Ochaco guessed that he comes from a rich family.
"Come to think about it, your hero costume does remind me a hero I've seen on the news." Rio mentioned, making Tenya flinch.
"Uh—I was afraid people would treat me differently if they knew about my family." Tenya said looking away, but his three friends continue staring at him as their curiosity could not calm down.
Tenya let out a sigh knowing that he has to give in and tell his friends and the assistant teacher the truth about his family.
"You see, the Iidas have been Pro Heroes for generations. It runs in our blood." Tenya revealed.
"What? That's awesome!" Izuku and Ochaco were amazed.
"Are the three of you familiar with the Turbo Hero: Ingenium?" Tenya asked.
"I know all about him! He's a super-popular pro with 65 sidekicks working alongside him at his Tokyo agency!" Izuku smiled excitedly.
"Don't tell me…" Izuku paused in realization, putting Tenya with his hero costume and Ingenium being very similar to each other and the connections between them.
"He's my elder brother!" Tenya revealed proudly.
"Your family's famous!" Ochaco squealed.
"I can't believe it!" Izuku shouted with excitement.
"You must be really proud of your older brother." Rio said.
"Of course. "Ingenium is an unmatched commander who honors the hero code. As the second oldest Iida son, I strive to be just like him." Tenya smiled thinking of how proud he is of his big brother before sitting back down.
"However, I think it might be a bit soon for me to be in a real leadership role. You, for example: you figured out what the judges were looking for in the practical exam. A rep needs that sort of insight." Tenya smiled at Izuku, then he notices the three are looking at him surprisingly.
"That's the first time I've seen you smile, Tenya!" Ochaco said, thinking it looks good on him.
"What're you talking about? I smile all the time." Tenya proclaimed.
"Not very often, you should try being positive and relax. Being discipline is good and all, but you'll stress your body if you keep doing that all the time." Rio advised.
"(Iida wants to be like Ingenium in the same way I want to be like All Might, but he shouldn't be so hard on himself. I was clueless in that test.)" Izuku thought decided to tell Tenya what really happened to him on the practical exam.
"Hey, yeah, so about that practical exam—" But before Izuku could finish that sentence, a loud alarming sound went off that got all the students in shock and confused.
"What is that?" Izuku asked.
"Warning. Level Three security breach. All students please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion."The announcer alerted the students.
"What's a Level Three security breach?" Tenya asked one upperclassman student.
"It means that someone's managed to get past the school's barriers! This hasn't happened in my three years here." The senior student answered.
"We should get going!" The senior student said as he and lots of other students hurry to the door.
"Did this every happen when you were a student here?" Izuku asked his bodyguard.
"No, there was never an incident that caused the school to get on high alert like this. Something must've happened outside to cause this." Rio quickly grabbed Izuku, Ochaco, and Tenya in her arms with Izuku riding on her shoulders then follow the students to the exit.
But as the students try to exit the cafeteria, they all ended up going almost the same time causing them to be squeezed together in the same area making them feel a little worried more and a little aggressive toward each other.
"Stop shovin' so hard!' One brown hair male student complained.
"Wait, I'm getting trampled!" One female student panicked.
"I said stop pushin' me!" Another male student yelled.
"Ow! This is a total mob!" Ochaco commented, seeing how everyone is pushing and squeezing onto each other just to reach for the exit door. Good thing Rio is here to carry her even though it's a little embarrassing.
"Everyone was quick to react, as I'd expect from UA students." Tenya was impressed by this at least.
"Sure. But they're also causing a huge panic." Izuku pointed out, worry that something seriously bad might happen if something isn't done about this.
"This happened of something outside, maybe we should take a look." Rio moved through the crowded students making her way to the window.
"Who in the world could've trespassed onto campus grounds?" Tenya wondered as he looked out the window to see the answer.
"Hold on, is that…?" Izuku was surprised to see this.
"It's… the press that was outside!" Tenya gasped.
"But the big question is how did they get pass the barrier?" Rio asked, getting a bad feeling that this panic was caused by someone on purpose.
"All you have to do is give us All Might! He's here somewhere." The female reporter demanded to Aizawa and Present Mic who are keeping them at bay from entering the school.
"We said it's his day off." Present Mic said, really hates how these press people don't take a hint.
"Just give us one good comment on the record and then we'll leave." A man with a microphone requested.
"I know how you people work, give you an inch and you'll want a mile." Aziawa already knew how stubborn people like these reporters will try to get something out of this.
They are trespassing, that means they're kinda like villains. Why don't we just beat them up?" Present Mic asked whispering in Aizawa's ear.
"Don't you even think about it. Unless you want your name dragged through the mud." Aizawa turned down the idea that will give the press a reason to make them look bad just to get some ratings.
"Let's wait for the cops." Aizawa suggested, knowing they'll be on their way here soon. Present Mic groans knowing that it's the only thing they could do right now.
"I was afraid it was some kind of attack on the school, but there's no need to worry, everyone!" Tenya tried telling the other students, but none of them are listening.
"Hey! It's okay, it just the dumb press outside!" Ochaco called out but got nothing.
"They're too caught on in their own fears of getting out that they won't listen. I… I don't know how to handle this!" Izuku started to freak out.
"(Where are the teachers? Why aren't they taking control?)" Tenya thought wondered.
"Everyone! Stop freakin' out!" Eijiro tried to get everyone to calm down along with Denki, but both boys couldn't do a thing as they got swept away by the crowd.
"The current's too strong!" Denki screamed.
"Kirishima! Kaminari!" Tenya worried about two of his classmates.
"(What would Midoriya do? Or my brother? How would they handle this?)" Tenya thought tried to think of a plan, then he finally has a plan in his head.
"Miss Sahara, you're loud with your trunk, right?" Tenya asked.
"Yeah, I can be a little louder than the average elephant." Rio answered.
"Good, then make that loud noise to get everyone's attention. We need to address what's going on." Tenya suggested.
"He's right, we need you, Blue Heart!" Izuku called her by his former hero name.
"(It's been two years since I was called by the name being asked for help.)" Rio thought recalled the incident with the bloody hands, but she shook that away because right now Izuku and the other students are her top priority.
Rio took a deep breath, and her body changed to growing a little bigger, even her boobs grow bigger, along with the traits of elephants coming out such as the legs and head with the big ears and trunk. Then she uses that trunk to make the loudest elephant sound she could muster to get everyone to stop panicking and look at her.
"Okay Iida, now is your turn." Izuku pulled Tenya to get on top of Rio's head much to his surprise, but he knew he has to tell his peers about this.
"(This is it. Be concise, clear, and confident. Make an impact.)" Tenya thought reminded himself of the three Cs he was taught and held onto a pipe.
"Listen up! Everything is okay!" Tenya shouted getting everyone's attention.
"It's just the media outside. There's absolutely nothing to worry about, everything's fine! We're UA students, we need to remain calm and prove that we're the best of the best." Tenya stated.
Through the confident shouting, all of the students have started to calm down realizing that they are not pulling themselves together though they are relief that nothing seriously bad is happening.
"Look, the police are here." One female student said as she and some of the others look out the window.
"Thank goodness." One male student sighed in relief.
"That's a wrap. Get these vultures out of our station!" Present Mic smiled, glad to see the police has arrived.
"(Looks like everything worked out in the end.)" Rio thought smiled in relief as she changed back to her human form.
(1-A Classroom)
"It's time, class rep. Let's begin." Momo said.
"Um… Okay, so we need to figure out who the other class officers will be." Izuku said while his body is shaking with nervousness.
"But first, there's something that I wanna say." Izuku said, going to make his announcement now.
"I've thought a lot about this. And I think that Tenya Iida should be our class rep!" Izuku announced, much to Tenya's shock.
"He was able to capture everyone's attention and get us in line. So, I believe that he should be the one leading our class from now on!" Izuku explained the reason with an honest smile.
Tenya was left speechless by how Izuku believes in him to be the better leader for the class even though Izuku seems to fit the better role, but now it would seem that fate is giving him the mental of class leader.
"Yeah, you know what? If Midoriya's vouches for him, I'm good. Plus, he was a big help. He totally manned up and took charge, right?" Eijiro pointed out.
"Yep, oh, did you notice he looked like a jungle man standing on top of Miss Sahara's head?" Denki mentioned.
"This is a waste of time. I don't care who the rep is, just hurry up." Aizawa said before going back to sleep.
Tenya wasn't expecting to be granted the honor of leading the class and saw Rio nodding at him because she also believes that he could lead the class better than Izuku.
"If Midoriya is nominating me for this job… then I humbly accept. I pledge to carry out the duties of class rep to the best of my abilities!" Tenya promised with one hand raised high. Most of the class smiles at this.
"Hello, I got one more vote than him." Momo complained.
"Please do your best to help Iida." Rio smiled at Momo while Izuku is glad to have sorted this out on his first and last day as class rep.
(UA Front Gate)
Three teachers and the principal are investigating at the destroyed gate barrier seeing as how the media got in. And they did not like what they are seeing right now.
"How did some ordinary members of the press managed to bypass our security system?" The principal Nezu wondered.
"Someone else must be behind this. Some villains actually managed to infiltrate our school, but was this purely a show of power of a declaration of war?" Nezu asked, getting a bad feeling about this.
The scene shows the UA barrier gate was completely destroyed, crumbling into dust that was done by an unknown villain allowing the media to get in for their stupid pursuit in finding All Might just to have an interview with him about how he's doing as a new teacher at UA High School.

Izuku was voted to be the class rep only to turn it down and give it to Tenya after surviving a panic during lunchtime with Rio's help, but this was only the calm before the storm as there are forces out there that will cause more trouble for UA High soon.
