Naruto OST- Ochihabune

Mountainous red eyes snapped open without warning, a familiar sewage system meeting his groggy almost drunken gaze. He took a slow breath through his nose, the scent of his surroundings surprisingly dry, different, warm. He blinked slowly, the vision of the old rusty bars and wet murky water fading away like a bad memory to reveal something different, something new…

Warmth graced his gargantuan furry body, the bright yellow rays of the early morning sun washing over his form in a field of endless grass and hills as far as he could see. For a moment he found himself lost for all definitions of the word, for the last thing he could remember was the burning fires that consumed the world around him, the scent of scorched flesh and the screams of agony filling his ears.

The begging for mercy…

The pleading for their lives…

The screams that were cut forever short…

Death around every corner, blood and bone staining his paws as the bodies of humans met their end underneath the full weight of his body. He could still hear them, still smell them…

Still see them…

Then?

Then it was gone. The sensations that wracked his body were blown away like a terrible dream lost to the winds of life, leaving him, if only for the moment, free. He opened his eyes wide as if taking in his surroundings for the first time since he'd been forced out of the red haired woman.

The hidden leaf village was nowhere to be seen.

Not even a spec of civilization could be found for as far as he looked in every direction, the world he found himself in completely and utterly free of human life. Yet it was not free of merely human life, no. This world was utterly empty of life itself, a blank slate, an empty canvas, a clean mind-scape.

"I've been sealed away again…" He murmured lowly in surprise, his voice echoing throughout the vast landscape. He said this, yet no matter where he looked he could not find a single trace of that accursed Uzumaki seal that had held him so tightly that his soul ached.

Then he saw it, hidden in the distance behind a small gathering of massive evergreens. A hint of orange that immediately caught his eye, even at such a mighty distance. His curiosity peaked he couldn't stop himself from crossing the landscape with slow yet mighty strides, approaching the only other creature in here besides himself.

As he approached it he felt the innate familiarity of it, unable to forget what his own chakra felt like. He almost didn't believe his own eyes once he breached the clearing, finding it curled up quietly in a little bundle within the center of the clearing.

It was…

It was him, there was no denying it. It was no trick of the eye, no cursed ninja magic playing tricks on him, nothing. Curled up in a little ball, sleeping away the day was a little nine tailed fox. It smelled like him, looked like him, even had his chakra.

But…

It wasn't him. It took a while to notice it, but the soul within was not his own.

It was…

"The boy…" He breathed in surprise, recognizing the soul of the newborn anywhere. He'd spent the last nine months sleeping beside it within that red haired woman's stomach, there was no mistaking what he was seeing. "Naruto…" The name came to mind almost unconsciously, his massive eyes widening in surprise.

His senses of the outside world had been almost nonexistent in his time spent within the Uzumaki woman, yet his familiarity with the goings on of everything within her body had been readily available to him. He remembered watching the tiny thing slowly form into the little spark of a bright blue soul over the nine months she was pregnant, his chakra unable to do much more then gently alter it, his energy slowly seeping into the soul of the unborn baby. He wasn't even aware that he'd been doing it.

Then one day it changed.

It had been so abrupt, so fast, there was nothing he could do. One moment he was watching the unborn soul, then the next he was destroying buildings, blowing up mountains, and killing hundreds without mercy…

Then everything had gone black, and he couldn't shake the image of those accursed eyes from the back of his mind.

Now here he stood once more, sealed away within the mind of someone else. But this time he was not shackled to anything, not pinned down in place. Yet he was intrinsically aware of the fact that this newfound freedom had come at a cost.

His power?

His body?

His rage?

It had all been transferred into the newborn, resulting in what he saw now. Everything had been taken away from him once again, his chakra stolen and given to this child, even his body being reborn into the Uzumaki.

He should've been angry…

He should've been outraged, furious, boiling with anger so great and vast that it would set the entire world ablaze in its wake.

And yet, he couldn't even find it in himself to become even slightly irate.

No…

No that wasn't it.

He still had that anger for humanity, that vile putrid burning loathing, but…

Now it resided within the child.

He'd been utterly left behind, now nothing more than a ghost that lingered on within the mind of this newborn. This newborn who looked like him, who smelled like him. It was almost as if he was staring at his child…

Then he woke up.

He found himself holding his breath as he watched the little bundle of fur shift around at his presence, unfurling with a long drawn out stretch so like him that it stunned him. The kit's little maw was split open in a long mewling yawn, his tiny little eyes fluttering open to gaze upon the world around him.

And the first thing that he saw were two similarly red eyes gazing widely down at him, a fox more than one hundred times his size. His little eyes widened with childlike innocence, not even afraid of the demon beast towering over him.

How…?

How dare they! How dare they turn the most powerful of the Bijuu into this tiny little insect of a creature! Degrading his mighty royal status as the most important of nine down to something so tiny that he could blow it away without even trying, a being so small that it couldn't even care for himself. A tiny little fox who-!

W-Who…

Who was coming closer to him?

Kurama for all his years of existence, simply wasn't mentally prepared for what happened next. Standing stock still, he watched as the little kit wandered over to him, sniffed his mighty paw and then…?

Cuddled up next to him.

He, the mightiest of the tailed beasts, froze. Wide eyed he stared down at the little kit as he snuggled up beside him, breathing in his familiar scent with a tiny smile before slipping back to sleep not but a moment later. If he had a heart he was sure it would've skipped a beat, much to his mortification.

But…

He simply couldn't find it in himself to grow angry.

To his own surprise, he found himself slowly shifting around until he was lying down beside the little creature, staring at it with unblinking eyes. He stared at the kit that snuggled up against his paw with a strange feeling welling up in his bosom, a new sensation that he just didn't know quite how to comprehend.

It wasn't hatred or anger, something bubbling up that threatened to consume him and everything around him in a fiery inferno of violence and destruction.

It wasn't the cold hearted ire he felt whenever he thought of the creatures that made up the mortal realm, the disgust that filled him every time he lay his eyes upon the form of one of those greedy abominations.

It was…

Something nice?

He felt wrong even saying the word out loud in his own head, yet once he'd done so he couldn't stop. When he looked down upon the sleeping kit he felt…

Nice…

It felt…

Warm.

Mulling it over in his head, it was the first thing that had drift through his mind in a millennia that hadn't made his skin crawl.

"Naruto…" He tested the name once again on his tongue, ignorant to how his eyes softened when gazing down upon the form of his son.

That's when a new thought struck him, one that had him thinking harder than he'd done in many years.

Perhaps this was his second chance?

Perhaps this was the only way he would ever get to live the peaceful life the sage had wished for him, a life where he didn't have to run and hide or kill and start wars just to protect himself. For it was his ungodly anger that had made the whole of humanity fearful of him, and subsequently what had lead to the war leading up to his life as a sealed beast.

It was as if he'd been reborn, and the slate had been cleaned.

He wasn't even aware that his paw was shaking until the little fox woke up, turning to stare up at him with those impossibly wide eyes. He shifted around until his nose was pressed gently to the little kit's, his eyes getting swallowed up by his tiny ruby orbs.

He…

He wanted to protect this little one, keep him safe from the cruel world that wanted nothing more than to take advantage of him and abuse him for his power. Yet trapped inside his body, he could do nothing but speak to him while he slept, utterly powerless to defend him against those that sought to harm him.

For the first time in as long as he could remember, he was powerless, and that scared him…

"Naruto…" He breathed softly, watching as his breath ruffled the short red fur that covered his body. His eyes widened when he felt a new presence approaching, a gentle voice calling out to him from somewhere out of sight.

The mighty Kyuubi blinked in surprise when he felt a presence approached by from somewhere out of sight. There was a voice calling out to him, but he couldn't quite make out what they were saying.

Had someone already come to steal him away again? Was his kit going to be sealed away to be used for his power before he even got the chance to live a life?

He felt a horrible panic well up within him that had no outlet, a bubbling anxiety that he could not vent, a terrible fear that he couldn't stem. Looking down he saw that the kit had vanished from his grasp, leaving him alone within the recesses of his mind-scape.

And that's when he felt it.

He sucked in a sharp breath when he felt something warm and soft embrace him, long slender arms wrapping around him in a gentle loving hug that had him stock still, eyes quivering inside his skull. He couldn't see it, couldn't see who was holding him, who was touching him, who was…

W-Who was embracing him-

With such warmth a-and love that he…

He just didn't know what to do.

Opening his eyes he realized that it was a phantom sensation transferred from his kit in the real world, but he could feel it as if it was real.

"That's it… Don't worry. I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere." His eyes widened at the gently spoken voice that filled his head, the image of her soft brown eyes flashing across his mind. He closed his eyes, focusing on that image, reaching out to grasp it as gently as he could.

That's when the image of the outside world became clear to him.

"Kaasan's not going anywhere, you don't have to cry…" She cooed, her smooth milky skin tinted a light red at her cheeks, soft lips pulled up into a real genuine smile. Long blonde locks flitted in his view, the green gem on her forehead drawing his attention.

He was small…

So very small, her beautiful face looming over him like a protective blanket, shielding him, covering him from those that might seek to do him harm. When he saw the tiny red furred paws reach up to gently nudge at her lips he finally realized that he was looking through Naruto's eyes, nothing but a helpless bystander watching from the shadows.

He extended his senses as far as he could, searching the heart of the woman who so carefully held his kit in her arms, but he couldn't find a trace of deception in her eyes. She had no alternative motives, no hidden intentions, or secret agendas planned for the baby in her hold.

She was genuine, in every aspect he could imagine.

He felt his eyes widen slightly when she placed a tender kiss to his forehead, before he found his kit's head resting comfortably in the valley of her large motherly bosom. It was the sound of her strong heart beating beneath her chest that had quickly begun to melt his own, the rhythmic beating lulling his youngling to sleep within a short few minutes.

He too found his eyes growing heavy within his mind-scape, soothed to sleep by her warm embrace.

The last thing he heard before he joined his kit in the land of sleep was her gentle voice humming quietly in his long floppy ear.

"I won't ever let anyone hurt you… Your Okāsan won't ever leave your side…" She cooed gently, pressing another kiss to his forehead as he drift away.

The last thought that ran through the mighty Nine Tailed Fox's mind before he succumbed to she embrace was one thought, and one alone. ''I approve of her…''

For the first time in as long as he could remember, he slept like a baby that night.

"Well well well, look what we have here. It's the legendary sucker herself! What? Come to lose again? Come on, get real! The last time you were here we cleaned you out of everything except your clothes… Unless you want to wager those as well…?" The sly remarks that echoed out as soon as the big busted woman stepped through the door would've had the effect of royally pissing her off something fierce, broken bones and shattered ribs soon to follow.

But when Tsunade stepped through the doors today, the aged man felt a disturbance in the air, and he didn't like it. Yet, the prospect of cleaning the terrible gambler out of not only even more of her money, but her undergarments as well was too big of a deal to pass up. They get rich and they get to ogle her legendary tits? What man would pass up on this blessing?!

Coughing to regain his composure, the sly man welcomed them in with open arms and a smile that failed to hide his less than upright intents that evening. Many other men had been there that night as well, all for the exact same reason. They too couldn't mistake this chance at scoring big against someone like her!

"Tsunade-sama… Are we sure this is a good idea?" Shizune asked quietly, whispering harshly in the busty blonde's ear, fret with worry.

But, Tsunade grinned a dangerous look. "You worry too much, Shizune-chan." She waved off her worries, grinning down at the other man as she moved to sit across from him. "We winning it all back tonight, honey!" She giggled to herself, shifting around to get comfortable as she sat down. Her chest bounced dangerously close to spilling free from her grey blouse as she sat down, much to the delight of every man in attendance that evening.

The head man missed the way she grinned, as did the others, too busy ogling her voluptuous valley, her bountiful bosom, her glorious mountains…

You get the point…

"So! What will the bets be tonight, Tsunade-sama?" He asked lowly, openly ogling the ample cleavage on display. Her breasts may as well have been magnets for how easily they drew the attention of every man within half a mile radius.

The blonde cleared her throat, leveling a totally confident look at the man that only made him feel even more secure of his chances here tonight. If there was one thing that Tsunade was, it was a terrible, awful, no good, and downright illegally bad gambler. She was so atrociously terrible at it that she'd gained that awful nickname that had unfortunately stuck over the years, much to her irritation.

But, she had a different plan tonight.

Sitting at the table, the man was unable to see anything below her chest, not that he was looking anywhere else anyway. So suffice it to say that he didn't see the orange furred creature sneaking out from her grass-green haori, his little paws coming to rest on her lap. The little smirk that split his deep black lips could be considered evil, if one were to look close enough. Although you'd have to battle to get past how cute he looked first.

"How about we keep it simple for today, Tsunade-sama? I've got to give you a fighting chance, after all." The man chuckled lowly, eyes narrowing in barely hidden glee. He could already see his victory now.

Tsunade for her part didn't let the facade slip, her cocky smirk still in place. She arched an eyebrow, smirking back at him to challenge his attitude. "Oh? You're not trying to take pity on me, are you?" She asked with mock hurt.

"But of course not, Tsunade-sama! I would never!" One man swore seriously, his facade falling apart by now.

She didn't even bat an eye as he gathered up two dice in a cup. "What will we be betting tonight? Hmmm?" He asked lowly, eyeing the briefcase beside her. The woman smirked.

"Ten million ryō." She clarified with a smile, cracking open the briefcase to reveal the literal stacks upon stacks of money. They were practically falling over themselves in glee!

They were rich.

It was only a matter of time!

"Tsunade-sama…" Shizune whined, shaking her head in defeat as the busty woman giggled.

The head man cleared his throat, trying to appear professional. "Then we have a deal." He hummed lowly, tossing two dice into a woven black cup. The rest of the men began to chuckle lowly as they eyed her, feeling their impending victory soon at hand.

Headman shook the cup mightily before shamming it down on the table, eyes snapping up to meet her own. "Well? Odd or even, Tsunade-sama?" He asked lowly.

He missed the way her eyes glinted, her cheek twitching slightly as something patted her knee twice. "Even." She muttered, sliding forward one million ryō to bet.

"Odd!" Everyone else declared confidently.

He chuckled. "Are you sure?" He teased, his lecherous grin causing the air temperature in the room to rise for some reason he didn't understand just yet.

Tsunade didn't blink at the two reassuring taps she felt on her thigh, a little paw patting her twice in rapid succession. "Positive." She grinned.

They all began to chuckle lowly, knowing from the beginning that she was wrong. Didn't they know who they were dealing with? Whose house they were in?!

He was going to clean her out of that ten million and then strip her naked too, and she was going to fall for all of it hook line and sinker!

"Too bad! It's-" His enthusiasm crumbled when upon revealing the dice it was indeed even and not odd like everyone else had bet it. His eyes widened in horror, looking up as she greedily reached over to snake the stacks of cash from the rest of them for her victory.

"Oh! Looks like my luck is turning around!" The busty blonde smiled widely upon seeing the even dice revealed from underneath the cup.

The man sitting across from her couldn't believe it, nearly choking up in disbelief.

It wasn't possible!

I-It couldn't be!

"Guess I'll take my win now… Unless you want to go again?" She sighed, before offering a glinting glance at the suddenly desperate men.

"All or nothing!" He shouted furiously, more angry by the fact that he'd lost to her of all people than the fact that he'd lost the money at all.

"Deal!" Tsunade grinned widely upon seeing, sliding her bet forward. Shizune felt a little bad at seeing someone else on the receiving end of her terrible luck…

Buuut she didn't plan on stopping her now, she thought with a smirk. She could use more funds for their travels anyway.

The men took three cups this time, tossing the dice inside before slamming it down, desperate grins marking their faces, lady luck still on their sides.

"Odd!"

"Even!"

"Odd!"

They all shouted one by one, going from left to right.

The woman blinked, eyebrow raising as her lips twitched as if holding a quiet conversation in her head.

Pat pat.

Pat.

Pat pat.

She nodded sagely, holding a hand to her chin as she assessed the cups before her with a keen eye. "Even, odd, even." She nodded firmly, leveling a serious eye on the man at the head.

She was right again.

"How…?!" The man stumbled away in horror, eyes widening in disbelief as she cleaned them out of everything they had to their names. "How did you do that?! It's shouldn't be possible! The Legendary Sucker, defeating us in a game of gambling!?" He cowered in shame, whimpering as she took the money into her own pockets, ten times richer than she had been upon entering the house.

Tsunade grinned widely, cheeks tinting red ever so slightly as a warm and furry nine tailed fox finally showed himself, crawling out from underneath the table to sit atop her right shoulder. His little paws held himself to the straps of her loosely hanging grey blouse, leveling a deep ruby red gaze down upon the suddenly horrified humans.

She held a hand up to his chin, gently scratching at the small space on the underside of his jaw that had an almost immediate effect, her skillful hands eliciting a low purr from the baby sized Kyuubi, nine long tails fluttering about happily behind him.

"I suppose that you can say that I've found myself a guardian angel." She hummed happily, voice soft as she pulled a cute little purr from his lips. "Or I suppose it's right to say that he found me." She corrected herself with a warm cheeked smile, heart fluttering as he leaned into her open palm, seeking more of her touch.

It was considerably soul shattering to see the tiny demon king perched atop her shoulder like some innocent little creature, but the way his tails began to wrap possessively around her midsection seemed to tell everything that it needed to be.

"Go on, introduce yourself." She urged gently up at him, his cute if menacing little face scrunching up at the idea.

But…

His mother had asked him to, so he would.

"Hello, my name is Naruto Senju." The little fox spoke, tiny black lips parting to reveal small yet sharp shining white teeth. It was as if they were staring right at the very creature from five years ago in the eyes, only he'd been turned into some demonically cute little creature that appeared to be completely unassuming at first glance.

But those eyes…

No one could forget those menacing, putrid red eyes, staring down at them like a god judging the ants below him. The look in his eyes didn't match the expression that rested on his cute little maw, but no one was really looking close enough to notice, too busy shivering in their seats where they sat.

"Naruto, what did I say about staring?" Tsunade chided gently, frowning lightly as she glanced up at him. The Kyuubi's tails wagged lowly, a little frown marring his lips.

"That it makes people scared, I suppose?" He muttered softly, shifting around until he was sitting on the other shoulder, blinking cutely at her.

"So then why were you doing it?" She asked like a disappointed mother to her child.

Naruto sniffed indifferently. "Because I don't like the way they were looking at you and Shizune-neesan, in fact…" He muttered, glaring at the man who was still doing so. If he wasn't so adorably small, they probably would've turned to ashes by the glare he sent their way.

Shizune giggled in the background, coming over to pluck the fox from her master's shoulders before smothering him in her own relatively well endowed bosom. "And that's why I love you, Naruto-kun. You take such good care of your neesan." She hummed happily, holding him to her chest like he was a stuffed animal.

The little nine tailed fox stared forward at the glaring men, sticking his tongue out at the mixture of jealous and angry glares he got. No one got to look at his Okāsan like that, he decided with a fiery snort, flames puffing out from his nose. He didn't understand why it made him angry, but the deep voice floating somewhere in the back of his head told him that those men were untrustworthy, so he listened to it.

Tsunade cleared her throat, flicking her hair over her shoulders. "Now then boys, ready to go again?" She asked with a teasing smile.

They all blanched in horror. "Get out!!"
