Okay, this is a dark chapter. Mental screwing, psychological torture and sexual abuse – not quite rape because it's Lotor and he's horrible as always. I did take some inspiration from OG Lotor only because I feel the only difference between him and VLD Lotor is the latter is smarter than OG Lotor. But I believe he wants the same thing from Allura that the original did – "royal alliance" implied them having sex and making children together in season 5 so he's just a tad more subtle about it while Allura is dense. Anyway, warnings are there, please feel free to skip this chapter if it's too much though but the story will get even darker from here.
9. I Will Possess Your Heart
The strength that came from having her friends – her family near was a strength she had not thought she had when she was alone, trapped with Lotor. His words had been having an impact on her – her own thoughts, her pull towards him had been confusing despite knowing he had betrayed her. But when Hunk had spoken up for her, she had gained a courage that she never knew she had.
Is this what it meant to have family even though she had lost her biological family, outside of Coran? She had family – she had a new family; one she could rely on in times like this. Ones that would give her a sense of certainty.
"Thank you," Allura said quietly to Hunk on the comms when Lotor was distracted with Lance arriving with them.
"You're welcome, but I only reminded you of what you already knew deep down," Hunk assured her. "Keith, now what do we do?"
Yeah, what did they do? They had all five Paladins together now but not all five of the lions. Shiro still had the Black Lion. Lotor would not give up so easily – but maybe Keith did have a plan to bring the Black Lion here and they could find a way to fight.
"I need a diversion," Keith replied to the others. "Keep him distracted for as long as you can."
Well, that was easy enough. With all four of them, it was easy to scatter so Lotor would not be able to focus on all of them. Besides, he had gotten cocky. He had lost sight of his intelligence in this moment – Allura felt it with the way he glanced at her. It made her skin crawl, but she knew she couldn't let it distract her. Even with this logic in mind, nothing could prepare her for what came next – she had hoped for the good that came next, but she was not ready for the bad that came with it.
Keith was able to connect to the Black Lion and bring her back to them – that was not a surprise, for being partners for such a short amount of time, they certainly had quite a strong connection. But what she did not expect was a similar mix of pink and purple aura surrounding Lotor. That was not just him. He was being supported by Altean magic but by whom? Could it be…Haggar? Was she helping him in the fight?
"Watch out!" That was the only warning she could get up before everything faded into white – that was odd, normally when they were knocked out, everything went dark, but had she not been knocked out? Had something else happened to her? She was somewhere but she was no longer with the others. As the white faded, her heart hammered in her chest. She recognised this place – it was the same place she had escaped Lotor from but how?
She had escaped and he had let her escape. Allura forced herself to take a deep breath. She could not afford to panic especially when she did not know where the others were and at least this time, she could still feel Blue's presence nearby even if she could not hear her anymore. This was another one of Lotor's tricks and she could figure this out.
"I told you, princess," Lotor said appearing and stepping forward in front of her. "You cannot escape me and this time; your friends will not be interfering because they'll be dead before they reach here."
Allura's fists clenched, and she glared at him. "What have you done to them, Lotor? Is this your way of trying to win me over? If it is, you are doing quite a poor job of it." Her heart was racing – the idea of Keith – or any of the others of course dying was enough to make her feel a little weak all over. She had lost her family once – she couldn't lose Keith as well. Wait, why did she keep thinking of Keith like this? All of the Paladins were her family, not just Keith.
But the way he had asked her permission to hug her, the way he had consoled her in her darkest moments made her feel as if no darkness could touch her. She had felt safe for the first time since the war began. Lotor's touch to her cheek brought her back to reality and she stepped back a little further.
"Don't touch me," Allura snapped. "I'll ask again, what have you done to the others?"
Lotor smiled. "Where they're trapped, only few get out alive. That's all you need to know. And even if they do, they're not coming for you. Not if they want to save Shiro. This time, the Paladins have to make a choice on who to save. You or Shiro."
Allura raised her hands, making to call for her bayard but Lotor waved a hand, and a sharp pain ran through her body, causing her to collapse on the ground, making her feel dizzy. Her whole body felt numb, and it was like something were sucking the quintessence out of her but slowly. What was happening to her? No, what was he doing to her?
Lotor leaned over her. "I honestly wish it had not come to this. I wanted to love you, Princess. I wanted to make you feel loved. But you, far too attached to your morals didn't let that happen. Even if it's just physical attraction like you and your friends claim, I'm going to make you feel everything."
He stroked her cheek and Allura wanted to do everything she could to swat his hand away, but she could not find the strength. He had done something to her because he knew she would teach him a lesson if she was at full capability of fighting back against him. Her heart caught in her throat as he climbed on top of her. No, no, this could not be happening. Not now. Not after she had just escaped.
Lotor kissed the side of her neck, sucking on the side of it as his hands moved to remove her Paladin armour.
"Stop it," Allura managed to get out. "Please, Lotor. Stop." Once again, she was in her pilot suit in front of him and she had a feeling this time, he would not let her go, even if she could fight.
It was as she had thought. Her words went ignored completely as his lips trailed further down her neck and he rested them there for a moment before pulling back, licking his lips as his gaze trailed down her body. She shivered at the look, making to turn her face away but he cupped her face in his hands, planting a soft kiss to her lips, a hungry look in his eyes.
"I am never letting you go," Lotor said simply as his hands now travelled to the back of her pilot suit, finding a small zipper.
"Lotor," Allura's eyes stung with tears as she shook her head desperately.
Lotor ignored her, pulling down the zipper as far as it would go to allow him to pull off the pilot suit and throw it aside, leaving her in her lacy pink bra and underwear.
"Lotor," Allura gasped again. "Stop. This is rape, stop!" Maybe her pleas would have no impact – he was stronger right now and given the side she had seen him; she wasn't truly sure she knew him anymore. But she had to try, she had to do something.
Lotor did stop for a moment at that to her surprise, pulling back to look at her and for a moment, she thought he would just laugh and continue but he stayed like that for a few moments, watching her before he spoke.
"Do you truly think I am that predictable?" Lotor hummed calmly. "Given where I have sent your precious team, I have all the time in the world. At first, I wanted to marry you. I felt you had fallen in love with me too and we could rule the world together once I could convince you to let go of your morals. But I was foolish. The love in your eyes was not for me. It was for someone else."
Allura blinked and stared at him. "What? What do you mean?"
Lotor scoffed. "I see the way you look at the Black Paladin. The way your face gets when you talk about him. I've been watching you, Allura. Just because I let you go does not mean I did not have an eye on you the whole time. Granted," He licked his lips. "You did not look as stunning as you do now in this pink lacy bra and underwear, but I kept an eye on you."
Allura felt her face subconsciously heat up, whether it was due to the comment he made about how she looked or the observation he made about Keith, she didn't know. He had always been special to her. Even before she had realised because he understood. He understood why she thought the way she did and thought in similar lines to her. It felt nice not having to always explain to someone why she thought the way she did. Still, she had to focus. She couldn't let her mind drift – not in the situation she was currently in.
Her fists clenched again in the bed she lay upon, clutching the bedsheet underneath her even though Lotor was no longer on top of her. She knew she still did not have the energy needed to get back up. This was never a situation she imagined herself to be in. She had always been able to have a fair fight – to fight her way out of things but with this little energy, her head was spinning, and it was all she could do to keep her body from trembling.
"So what?" was all Allura asked.
"Now, my priorities have shifted slightly," Lotor said simply. "Raping you feels far too easy. You would not be able to stop me. It could cause you physical injuries. You would break but you would also heal and that's too simple. No. As delicious as your body looks to me right now." His hand smoothed over her naked stomach, causing a shiver to leave her involuntarily. Get off me! These were the words she wanted to scream but she forced herself not to react. It was giving him more satisfaction. "I want your heart. I want your mind. Your heart wants him, it desires him…not for long." The hand slid between her legs, beginning to rub from atop her underwear.
Allura began to arc towards him no matter how she wanted to resist the urge to do so but gasps and small cries left her body even when she covered her mouth as Lotor toyed with her body.
"I am in control here, beautiful," Lotor said capturing her lips in his own and exploring her mouth as his hand continued to rub in between her legs. No, she had to fight – but the more he rubbed her and kissed her like that, the more she felt herself being drawn toward him. She hated him, right? Then why was she unable to resist his touch like this? This was wrong. She was disgusting for responding to his touch – for subconsciously wanting more of his touch. Her head had begun to pound, and she felt sick. If she could move…she would make him pay for this or would she? She was starting to question if that was even the truth anymore. If she was responding to him of all people, was he right about her feelings after all? Had Hunk and Keith been just reassuring her with fake words? Her heart ached as she thought of Keith – she was far too dirty for him now, even if Lotor was just playing and had not raped her yet.
Small whimpers left her lips even as he pulled away from the kiss, attempting to curl away from him because she just wanted this to stop. She knew he wouldn't though – he said he wanted her mind; he was trying to break her and maybe this was one thing he might succeed in as well.
"We're not done for today yet, my love," Lotor got off her but yanked her on top of him, forcing them both to fall on the bed in reverse position.
"No," Allura began, trying to get off but he didn't let go of her hand.
"I will make you mine no matter how much you fight this," Lotor said simply. "The question is how hard do you want his test to be? If you keep fighting, I will make sure it's too challenging for him to survive."
Allura scowled. "He can survive anything. Keith is stronger than you give him credit for." He had to be. He had to survive this, no matter what Lotor did to her. She tried to pull away again, but he yanked her closer into his chest.
"Kiss me," Lotor said softly. "Initiate it or I will show you his corpse, believe me."
Allura had to keep herself from flinching at the look in his eyes. She knew Keith would want her to keep fighting but at the same time – with the way she was responding to Lotor's touch earlier, maybe she didn't deserve to think of Keith right now. Maybe, as his friend, the best she could do was at least keep him alive. Pushing down the bile in her throat, she leaned down, pressing her lips against Lotor's. Anything to keep Keith from harm's way. He had saved her – now it was her turn.
