Iffy, Compa, and Blanc solved the puzzle after hours of figuring it out: "That took a lot longer to figure out both how to use the flowers and how to bloom these stupid things, and then the solution took ten minutes because it took a bit of time to move these flowers from one place to another."

Blanc groans as she and Iffy follow Compa who is leading them across the blooming bridge puzzle, "Come on guys! We are going home!"

Blanc sighs, "Someone's optimistic."

Iffy chuckles slightly, "I can't believe we had to call Papyrus to figure out how to use these flowers," Then the girls see a larger area with a more advanced version of the puzzle, "You have got to be kidding me."

Blanc was the first to attempt the puzzle, and she made a path to a sign that said, "Congratulations! You failed this puzzle!"

Blanc rips the sign off the ground, "OH YEAH!" She throws the sign at the cliff side causing it to fall and creating a bridge, bypassing the puzzle altogether. "How do you like them apples!?"

"There goes the poor cliff," Compa said in a quiet tone

"Sheesh that could have brought the cavern down on us, regardless that is one way to solve a puzzle." Iffy Commented, as the girls went across the makeshift bridge that changed the landscape around this area of the caverns. Iffy gets a call from her phone, "huh, who is calling me?

Iffy answers the phone and puts it on speaker, and Papyrus's voice can be heard, "Hello! This is The Great Papyrus!"

Iffy questions, "How did you get this number?"

Papyrus casually answers, "Oh that was simple! I just dialed every number sequentially until I got yours!" He cackles with joy after that statement.

Iffy lets out a sigh, "Of course, you did."

Blanc blinks and lets out a small bit of laughter from the sheer disbelief that someone would actually do what Papyrus did, "He reminds me of Neptune with that stunt because who has time for that?"

Papyrus calms down from his laughter and asks, "So, what are you wearing? I'm asking for a friend since she thought you were in a white bathing suit."

Blanc shouts correcting Papyrus on the phone, "It's not a bathing suit, you damn moron! It's a battle attire for this CPU form I am somehow stuck in!"

Papyrus responds to Blanc's comment, "So, you are not wearing a white bathing suit, got it? Wink! Wink!" He hangs up.

"I didn't get a word to say to him" Iffy sighs then puts her phone away, "I am going to pretend that never happened."

Compa giggles at Papyrus's silliness, "Oh, all the monsters down here are friendly and most of them are funny like Nep-Nep!"

Blanc's eye twitches, "All of them are similar to Neptune? Damn, I died and went to hell."

Iffy chuckles, "Compa is overexaggerating, there are some monsters that are kinda nice so far."

Blanc slumps forward as they walk, but then as they walk several Echo flowers catch her sight and the cavern opens up to a wonderful sight, "Wow! So many echo flowers!"

"This is something." Iffy comments looking at the glistering ceiling.

Compa touches an echo flower, "These are so pretty."

The echo flower spoke which made Compa jump back a little, "A long time ago, monsters would whisper their wishes to the stars in the sky. If you hope with all of your heart, your wish will come true. Now, all we have are these sparkling stones on the ceiling."

Compa's face softens, "How sad"

The girls continue to walk while another echo flower recites a message, "Thousands of people wishing together can't be wrong! The king will prove that!"

Blanc took note of this, "This king, the people look up to him, wish for them to lead and guide them much like a CPU."

"A leader to guide them home," Iffy added.

Two echo flowers talk back and forth with each other with children having this conversation, with the first flower saying, "Come on, sis! Make a wish!" with the other flower responding, "I wish my sister, and I will see the real stars someday."

Compa ponders, "How long have they been down here?"

"Too long" Iffy responded.

Blanc decides to peek through the telescope, "Fascinating! These stones truly shine like stars."

Iffy leans back on a wall and it opens causing her to fall backward to the ground, "What the? Who puts secret doors on a wall like this?"

Blanc walks over to observe, "A secret passage?"

"You okay iffy?" Compa asked.

Iffy grunts as she stood back up, "I am fine." She brushes off herself and sighs as she gestures to them to follow her. The girls follow the passage and see scriptures on the walls, and Iffy acknowledges them, "Weird writing on the walls."

Blanc is in awe as she examines the writings, "This is very old writing, maybe I can try to read it."

Compa and Iffy looked at each other and then at Blanc with Compa saying, "You can read this, Blanc?"

Blac reads the scripture, "The war between humans and Monsters." Blanc ponders, "A war? Was this even before the current CPUs? Anyways." She continues to read, "Why did the humans attack? Indeed, they seemed to have nothing to fear. Humans are unbelievably strong. It will take the soul of nearly every monster just to equal the power of a single human soul, but humans have one weakness. Ironically, it is the strength of their soul. Its power allows it to persist outside the human body after death."

"A war? Monsters outmatched by humans? Just how long have these monsters been down here?" Iffy wondered and then paced, "Could it have been the first CPUs?"

Compa whines, "Yet we have monsters above the surface, but they are much more evil, but these monsters down here are really nice and good, I wonder why that is the case?"

Blanc finishes reading the scripture, "If a monster defeats a human, they can take its soul. A monster with a human soul. A horrible beast with unfathomable power."

All three girls look at the illustration of such a creature. Iffy comments, "It looks like the deity of sin. What the hell is going on here?"

Blanc rubs her head, "I would like to know that myself."

"Kind of creepy" Compa commented on the picture.

The girls approach a pier with a lone raft upon it. Ahead they see a large lake and Iffy sighs, "Guess the only way forward is through this lake" She was the first to head on the raft, and while helping Compa get into the raft, "Blanc can fly over the…"

"About that I am unable to fly, don't know if you forgot." Blanc interrupted Iffy, as she summons her axe enters the raft and uses it as a makeshift paddle, she pushes them away from the pier and paddles them across the lake humming to herself as if she were enjoying this.

Iffy bit her lip and dared not to poke the bear about Blanc being unable to fly, and decided to ask something else, "You, seemed to like doing this?"

Blanc nods, "When I am not reading or writing, I tend to go out and participate in other things to break the flow and to get away from the twins. I read in a book about castaways and how they get back with a raft."

"It's so dark," Compa commented as she looked at the surroundings. The air is very silent and still as another pier comes into view, "Hey is that where we can dock?"

Iffy analyzes the landing site as they approach, "Looks very ominous, we should be on guard."

Blanc paddles them towards the pier and looks ahead to see any signs of an ambush. She grabbed the pier as soon as they were within reach, "perfect place for an ambush." She climbs onto the pier and ties the raft to it.

Iffy climbs to the pier and helps Compa up to it. Iffy looked around as she took point, "I feel like I am being watched."

As the girls press forward a spear is suddenly thrown at them causing Compa to scream and Blanc yells, "Well, this is an ambush, our armored friend is here! Where the hell is she? I can't see here!"

Iffy shouts, "Here's an idea! Run!" Grabs Blanc and Compa and pulls them into a run, "We can't see her, so we got to run!" They begin dashing through the piers as spears are being hurled at them

Blanc deflects a spear that was thrown at her, "We are wide open! And these things are coming out of nowhere!" She sees several spears manifest in the darkness, "Incoming!"

Iffy kept running with Compa, "We need to find cover"

Blanc takes the rear and uses her axe to deflect any spears that came her way, "Where is this bitch! Coward attacking us in the dark!"

Iffy stops seeing a winding road, "You gotta be kidding me! Who makes a winding dock like this!?" A spear barely missed her, "Screw it! She runs navigating the path while Blanc helps guard the rear from these long-range spears.

"Watch out!" Blanc deflects a spear that would have hit Iffy.

I see land and somewhere to hide!" Iffy points ahead as she runs with Compa, and spots a grass field they can hide in.

Compa gets grazed by a spear, "Owie! Bad magic spear hurt me"

Blanc chuckles, "Finally maybe we can drag her out of the darkness" She along with Iffy and Compa make a break for it. Blanc catches a spear in her thigh which causes her to fall to the ground, "Owww how in the hell did that hurt so damn bad!" She gets back up and limps her way to the grass field they can hide in. She uses the axe to prop herself up and looks behind her to finally see the captain of the royal guard finally in view walking towards them, "Now you came out of hiding, great."

Iffy cast a flame wall between Undyne and Blanc, but the rain weakened her fire spell, "This isn't going to last long, sorry Blanc." Proceeds to pick up Blanc and runs to the grass while Blac angrily makes incoherent noises of the embarrassment of being carried.

Compa makes it to the tall grass and looks back to Iffy, who carrying Blanc like a wounded soldier, "Hurry!"

Blanc protested, "Hey I can fight why the hell are you carrying me!? I can take her!"

"Not here, Blanc! My magic is too weak here!" Iffy replied.

Blanc groans and throws her magic projectile at Undyne to slow the captain down, while being carried by Iffy which embarrasses the CPU altogether, "Take that you stupid bitch!" Blanc was then thrown down into the grass.

Iffy casts a spell, "Green Nova! Heal this wound." Blanc's leg heals slightly, however, due to her exhaustion and having a very long day with this she becomes winded and crouches in the grass while holding Blanc's mouth shut, "Not another word, I am in no shape to fight, plus fighting in unstable terrain a bad idea." Undyne walks closer to the girls

Compa also kneels down keeping Blanc still, and helps Iffy drag her to an even more thicker patch of grass, "I need to address her wound, oh no the captain is coming!"

Blanc pushes them all aside to break free, and rushes out of the grass which surprises Undyne, "HEY DUMBASS! BATTER UP!" She spins around her axe slamming the blunt end of the axe against Undyne with such force that the Captain was sent flying away, "That's what you get!" The wound opened back up in her leg and she fell back down, "My leg!"

Iffy drags Blanc back to the grass and to Compa who immediately starts working on her wound, "Blanc you could have gotten yourself killed."

Blanc argues, "Hey it worked didn't it!"

Iffy sighs, "At least I see a save point up ahead which is much needed, come on." Iffy and Compa stand Blanc up and help guide her to the save point.

Compa sets Blanc down next to a wall, "Easy! Easy Blanc"

Blanc huffs and winces in pain, "I don't get it, not only I cant fly, but I feel weaker down here as if my magic is suppressed but still doesn't answer why I am still stuck in CPU form and… wait is that blood?" The CPU watches how Compa stitches up her wound, "Wow, she did damage to me in CPU form that's a bit of a problem."

"That is bizarre" Iffy commented.

Compa focuses on Blanc's wound, and Blanc decides to ask a question to change the subject, "Hey why does that piece of cheese have crystals growing around it?"

Iffy smirks, "Hey, all I can say is knowing that the mouse will one day extract the cheese from that crystal fills me with determination."

Blanc stares at Iffy, "IF, I think you are going insane down here."

Compa giggles, "You will get used to it."

Blanc sighs, "I regret having this abysmal conversation."

Iffy snaps, "You asked for it to begin with."

Compa smiles and claps her hands together her eye twitching a bit, "How about we all rest, and focus on recovery."

Blanc nods, "I agree, we should rest and come up with a plan of action and not be caught off guard again, so we should…"

Compa puts a finger over Blanc's mouth, "Hush, let's focus on healing you"

"Compa we were…" Iffy interjected before being cut off by Compa.

"Nah! Ah! Ah!" Compa interrupted Iffy and gently sat her down. "I made up my mind, I am going to patch you up and then we are going to have dinner and get some rest."

Iffy chuckles cause she knows saying anything is pointless because once Compa makes up her mind there is no stopping her. "Alright, You win Compa," Iffy said in defeat. She yawns and decides to take a nap while waiting for dinner.

Compa sighs, "Iffy you used up too much magic and it really tired you out, also here you go Blanc." Compa uses her healing magic and some bandages she patch up Blanc's wound.

Blanc was left alone while Compa started cooking them dinner. She thinks to herself and smiles, "Compa and Iffy you two are deeply in love, just make sure no one divides you." She looks up letting a few tears stream down her face, "I was once in love, until he one day disappeared long ago, I still wonder where he went. Wherever you are I hope you're ok." She weeps quietly to herself careful not to be noticed by Compa for crying.

Elsewhere in the underground, Undyne was limping to a guard station and headed inside. Undyne removes her hood pulls her phone and dials a number, "that white bathing suit girl with light blue hair packs quite a punch. I am going to need some help, and recover from this." She taps her finger on the table as the phone rings, "Scarlet what is taking so long? You better not be hanging out with that human again. Why are you with that human anyway?"

Scarlet picked up the phone, while she was giggling, "Hello, this is Scarlet."

Undyne took a very serious tone with her, "This is no laughing matter. I require your assistance with these humans. One of them is incredibly strong, and I may need you to keep the other two distracted while I take on the strong one, which is the one in complete white attire."

Scarlet voice went serious, "Sorry captain, I was told a joke. Where shall we meet?"

"The bridge. I will head to Alphys to get something from her, though it will be in minor dose, These humans are a threat to all of Monsterkind." Undyne answers.

"Yes captain" Scarlet answers.

Undyne hangs up the phone and sighs, "Seems my job has gotten far more difficult, but it will get easier once that strange strong human is out of the way." She sits down and starts treating her injuries grunting and even complaining to themselves, "Sans is no help at all, protecting that Frisk. Frisk, I will never forgive you for what you did to Gersan. Mark my word!"

Meanwhile in Gamindustri Neptune was awakened by a knock at her door, "Guess it's time to wake up." The knocking continues, "I am coming! I am coming!" She goes to the door and opens it up to see Cave, 5pb, and Underling who are in handcuffs, "Sheesh this is early can't a girl get her beauty sleep?"

Underling laughed, "CPUs need their beauty sleep? I should have brought my loud airhorn!?"

Cave hits Underling in the back of the head, "Quiet you!" She had her red hair tied in two pigtails. She is wearing a battle maid dress and has a broadsword in her other hand, "We are here in official business?"

5pb spoke in a worried tone, "It's Leanbox! Something terribly wrong is going on over there!"

Neptune scratches her head still a bit drowsy, "Vert did not make it back?"

5pb shakes her head, "No, she has not come back, and there has been no sign of her anywhere."

Neptune sighs and stretches, "Alright, guess we start early wirly today," she grabs her sword and smiles, Alright, let's get this show on the road."

5pb blinks in surprise, "Huh, thought you'd be harder to wake, what a pleasant surprise." She hugs Neptune real close.

Cave nods and smiles, "Indeed it is, and 5pb has taken quite a liking to you. Now let's wake Nepgear and we shall be on our way."

Neptune gave a shy smile when 5pb hugged her, but as soon as she heard about waking up Nepgear her smile went to a mischievous smile, "Yeah, let's wave her."

Underling rolls her eyes, "I swear you guys sicken me, with the lovey-dovey crap."

"Time to wake gearsies up," Neptune says as she begins to skip down the hall leaving 5pb and Cave to look at each other confused, wondering what Neptune doing.

Underling tilts her head, "Why do I get the feeling that she is up to something crazy?"

Neptune goes into Nepgear's room pulls out an airhorn she had hidden in her room and uses it to wake Nepgear, "Rise and shine Nepgear! We got a mission!"

Underling goes into a fit of laughter, "She is freaking insane"

Cave sighs in disappointment, "That is Neptune for you."

Nepgear jumps out of her bed in her underwear that has little flowers all over it and shouts at Neptune, "Neptune! What has gotten into you, today!?

Neptune laughs, "Cause I kinda want to have a little harmless fun with you, and you sleep in your little princessy undies haha that's funny!"

5pb faints at the sight of Nepgear in her underwear. Cave catches her, "Neptune could you have given us a warning?"

Neptune laughs, "Relax! We are all girls here!"

Nepgear screams in embarrassment, "Neptune, this is not funny!"

Underling chuckles at the sheer chaos that is happening, "Man, that was hilarious, never seen her that mad before."

Cave sighs, "Your dumb jokes are the reason why Nepgear has her own room. Now, let us take our leave and let her have time to wear something appropriate."

Neptune scratches the back of her head, "I think I went too far already."

Underling looks at the passed-out 5pb, "What is with her?"

Cave responds calmly, "She is into girls"

Neptune giggles shyly, "Yeah, I can vouch for that."

"Right she kissed you and confessed to you, and you passed out moments later," Underling responded, which made Neptune speechless, and darted her eyes away from the other girls.

Cave interrupts. "We are wasting time, Nepgear get dressed and meet us at Leanbox."

Nepgear huffs and just heads to the bathroom. Neptune chuckles, "Wow she is mad."

Underling scoffs raising her hands which are cuffed, "I wonder why? Oh right, that dumbass stunt you pulled."

"Worth it," Neptune says with a smile.

Cave casts a silent spell on Neptune and Underling, "Enough!." She proceeds to go and help Nepgear get dressed. Neptune smirks and pokes Underling who in turn just walks to Nepgear's bed and sits down. Neptune giggles looks at 5pb, and helps her up to her feet.

5pb regains consciousness and looks at Neptune who is guiding her to a chair to sit down, "Thanks, Neptune. Though I heard cave cast a silent spell on you"

Neptune surprises 5pb by speaking in sign, "You're welcome."

"Neptune, how do you know how to speak in sign?" 5pb asked.

Neptune smiles and responds by writing it down on a notebook paper, "Not the first time a silent spell was placed on me. Now I am going to apologize to both Nepgear and Cave for messing things up." With that she makes an apology letter to Nepgear, showing a paper that says, "I'm sorwy" on it to Nepgear as soon she gets out fully dressed.

Nepgear sighs, "You are a handful at times Neptune, but I can't stay mad forever, though do me a favor and please knock when you have company. Please." Nepgear gets a nod from Neptune.

Cave smiles, "Glad we all came to an understanding now let us be off."

The group heads to the train station en route to Leanbox.
