Tommy and Laurel were at the benefit talking to a couple friends when Abby, a woman he worked with at Felicity's company walked up to him. He smiled at her. "Abby, this is great isn't it" Tommy asked.

Abby just looked at him sadly. "Tommy we need to talk" she said.

"OK" Tommy said turning to Laurel. He gave her a quick kisss. "I'll be right back" he said. Him and Abby walked to the other side of the room. "Abby, hey what's going on" Tommy asked.

"I wanted you to hear this from me first. I'm leaving Smoakin' Lance tech" she said.

Tommy looked at her shocked. "What? Why? You love it there" he asked.

Abby nodded. "I do but I got a better offer" she said.

"From who" Tommy asked. Abby pulled out a buisness card and handed it to Tommy.

Tommy took it and looked at it. It said Merlyn Global Group. He looked at Abby and shook his head. "You can't leave Felicity to work for my father" Tommy said.

Abby looked at him sadly. "I'm sorry Tommy" she said walking away.

Felicity was talking to a bunch of possible investers when Sara walked up to her. "Can I talk to you for a minute" Sara asked.

Felicity nodded her head. "Of course" she said. She turned back to the investors. "It was nice talking to you guys" Felicity said. They nodded their heads and Felicity walked away with her sister. "So what's up" Felicity asked.

"Care to explain these" Sara said handing Felicity her phone.

Felicity looked at it in shock. There were photos of her and the vigilante. She looked up at her sister. "Where did you get those photos" she asked.

Sara took back the phone. "They were sent to me. Have you been talking to that guy secretly" Sara asked.

Felicity shook her head. "It's not what you think" she said.

"Really? So you're not hanging around this guy. Felicity he's dangerous" Sara said.

"He's not what you think he is. He's trying to save the city" Felicity said. Just then her phone buzzed. Her eyes got wide.

"What is it" Sara asked.

"I got to go" Felicity said walking away.

Oliver, dressed in his hood, made it to Redwood United Bank. He made it to where the Restons were stealing the money. He waited until he saw Kyle Reston looking around. "Kyle Reston" Oliver said loading his bow. He shot it at Kyle but Kyle held up a shield blocking the arrow.

"I came prepared" Kyle said pointing his gun at the vigilante. Oliver started to run as Kyle started shooting. Oliver jumped over the railings in the line up to the counter and then jumped over the counter. Kyle walked up to the counter and looked behind it but Oliver was gone. He looked around and shot his gun again. He continued to look around for the vigilante but couldn't find him. He tunred around and saw the viglante standing in front of him. Oliver shot an arrow at Kyle and it landed in his shoulder. Kyle used the shield to cut the arrow and charged at the vigliante. Oliver shot another arrow at him but Kyle blocked it this time. Kyle ran into Oliver pushing him back into a glass window and pinning him against the wall.

A security guard that Kyle had knocked out earlier started to wake up. He watched as Oliver grabbed Kyle and flipped him onto the floor. Kyle immediately got up and Oliver hit him his bow. They moved back as Oliver kicked Kyle who raised his shield. The security guard got up and ran out of the room. Oliver tried to hit Kyle with his bow again but Kyle bloacked him. Oliver kicked him in the chest and it pushed Kyle back. Oliver hit him again but once again Kyle used the sheild to block him. Oliver hit Kyle's legs and he fell to the ground. The security guard walked in with a shot gun. He cocked it and pointed it at where Oliver and Kyle were. "No. Hey I got this" Oliver said to the security guard holding out his hand. The security guard heard a gun cock in the distance and saw Derek Reston, wearing a mask like his son, run out holding a shotgun. He pointed it at the security guard. Oliver quickly turned around and shot an arrow at the shotgun making it fall out of Derek's hands.

"Drop your weapon" the security guard yelled as Kyle pointed his gun at him. "Now" the security guard demanded.

"No" Derek yelled as he jumped in front of his son. The securtiy guard shot his gun shooting Derek who fell to the floor shot and knocking Kyle back. Kyle tried to get up but Oliver punched him knocking him out. The security guard lowered his gun looking at the vigilante in shock.

Oliver turned and saw Derek moaning on the floor. "He's bleeding out. Call an ambulance" Oliver demanded. The security guard just stood there. "NOW" Oliver yelled walking over to Derek. The security guard ran out of the room as Oliver knelt down next to Derek. Oliver removed Derek's mask.

"Kyle" Derek said.

Oliver pulled back his hood and pulled down his own mask showing his face to Derek. "He's OK. He's just knocked out" he said.

"It wasn't his fault. I turned my son into this" Derek said. Oliver just stared at him as a memory came back to him.

Oliver pulled the trigger but nothing happened. He took the gun away from his head and looked at Robert. He fustratingly threw the gun on the floor. "Of course it doesn't work. I'm hallucinating…or I'm dreaming" he said.

"What if you aren't? You betrayed me Oliver. I died so that you could live and you threw that gift away. You made that sacrafice empty" Robert said.

"I'm not you. I'm not…I'm not strong like you. I never was" Oliver said.

"I told you I'm not the man you think I am. The things I've done, what I was about to do" Roert said walking away.

"Dad" Oliver said but Robert didn't look at him.

"Dad. What does that mean? Please" Oliver said as Robert turned around and looked at his son. "I don't know what it means" Oliver said.

"I told you. I begged you. RIGHT MY WRONGS" Robert yelled at his son. Oliver just shook his head. "This is your responsibility now" Robert said.

"How? How do I do this? I can't even get off this island. I'm never going to see mom, Thea…" Oliver said taking a photo out of his pocket. "Felicity. I'm never going to see any of them ever again" he said looking at the photo of Felicity and starting to cry.

Robert put his hands on Oliver's shoulders and Oliver looked up at his father. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth about me but I hope that you know that I love you" Robert said. Oliver nodded his head.

Oliver looked at Derek Reston as he died. He heard sirens in the distance.He looked out the door and saw the lights from the police car. He put his mask back on and lifted his hood. All of a sudden the door opened. Oliver quickly lifted his bow and aimed an arrow at the person. He was surprised to see Felicity standing there. She raised her hands. "Don't shoot it's just me" she said. She saw the dead body on the floor and the body across the way that she assumed was just knocked out. Oliver lowered his bow. Felicity ran over to him. "You have to go. The cops are coming" she said. Oliver looked at the door. He heard people coming. He grabbed Felicity's hand and ran out of the room with her. The cops arrivedc just as Oliver and Felicity made it out of the building. The head cop checked Derek's pulse and saw that it wasn't there. He was dead. This had to be the work of the vigilante. They were going to find him and bring him to justice.

Oliver and Felicity were on the roof. "Ms. Smoak, what are you doing here? Don't you have a benefit gala you should be at right now or something" Oliver asked in his modulated voice.

Felicity nodded. "I am supposed to be there. I mean I was. I'm going back after we talk" Felicity rambled. Oliver looked away and smiled. He couldn't help it. He loved Felicity's ramblings. It was so cute. "I wanted to tell you if you ever need any help you can come to me" Felicity said.

Oliver looked at her and shook his head. "This is too dangerous. I promised you I'd keep you safe and this is the way I do it. You have to stay away from me" Oliver said in his modulated voice. A thought crossed his mind. "How did you find me anyway" he asked.

Felicity smiled. "I hacked into the trackers you have on your suit. Sorry. I just had to see you again" she said.

Oliver just stood there. Of course she hacked into the trackers he had on him. "You have to stop. It's dangerous" Oliver said.

Felicity slowly walked toward him. "I don't know why but we have a connection. I can't deny it and neither can you" she said. Felicity was right. They did have a connection but that's because he was her boyfriend and they loved each other but she didn't know that. "I know you feel it too" she said. She was right. He did feel it. She reached him and took his hand. Oliver looked down at her hand. "Look if you want me to stay away I will but I don't think you do. I think you're lonely and misunderstood. You're not the monster everyone belives you are" Felicity said. Oliver looked in her eyes and saw kindness and compassion. It was different to how she looked at him as Oliver, with love and warmth. "I know what it's like to be lonely. I lost the love of my life for five years" she said.

"Oliver Queen" Oliver said.

She nodded. "I was also pregnant with his baby in those five years and I lost the baby too" Felicity said trying to hold back the tears. She let go of his hand and walked away. "In that time, I felt lonely like I didn't have anyone even though I had my family. Then Oliver came back and there's a wall up between us that I don't know how to get through. I sometimes wonder if it's because of me. He changed in those five years and so did I. I'm not the same woman I was before and I wonder if I'm still enough" she said.

"You are" Oliver said quickly without thinking. She turned around and looked at him. He hated seeing her like this and hated that she was doubting her worth. "I mean how could you not be. Maybe Queen is scared to show you his darkness because he's scared of how you may feel about him afterward and he's scared he might lose you" Oliver said.

Felicity shook her head. "That would never happen. I just wish he knew no matter what his darkness looked like I'd still love him. He won't scare me off" she said. Oliver just stood there. He wished that were true but he just didn't know how Felicity would be able to love him if she knew everything. Felicity walked over to him again. "I'm sorry for dropping my sob story at your feet but I just thought you might like a friend" Felicity said.

"Friend" Oliver said slowly.

"Yea. I think it's obvious how the city feels about you but if you ever want someone to talk to or if you feel lonely or you need help, I just want you to know, I'm here. I just don't want to lose you in my life" she said.

Oliver turned away from her and walked to the other end of the roof. He turned around and looked at Felicity. "You won't lose me, Ms. Smoak" he said and then he jumped off the roof. Felicity ran over, looked over the edge and didn't see him. He was gone. She hoped this wasn't the last night she would see him and that he took her up on her offer to be friends. She felt that they both needed it. Across the way on the roof of another building, Sara had watched the whole conversation go down. She had followed Felicity without her knowing. This wasn't good. Felicity was getting in too deep with this vigilante. Sara knew she was going to have to stop him whoever he was before it was too late and he hurt Felicity. She thought for a smiled. She had the perfect plan to get rid of the vigilante and rid him from this city once and for all. He would never be a problem for the city or Felicity ever again.
