Tommy walked into the lair. "I don't understand. Why is she targeting her family" Oliver asked.

"Who are we talking about" Tommy asked as he walked over to Oliver and Diggle. They both looked at him.

"Where have you been? I've been trying to reach you for the last two hours" Diggle asked.

Tommy rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry. Something came up that I have to deal with" he said.

Oliver looked at his friend seriously. "Is everything OK" he asked.

Tommy nodded. "So what's up" he asked.

"Well we found out Helena Bertinelli was the shooter who landed Oliver's mother in the hospital" Diggle said.

Tommy looked at them shocked. "Really" he said. Diggle nodded.

"The question is why is she going after her family" Oliver said.

"I don't know and here I thought you had parental issues" Diggle said.

"Don't we all" Tommy said under his breath.

"This is not a joke guys" Oliver said.

Diggle shook his head. "No it's not. She's dangerous and you need to take her down. She's obviously crazy and probably won't stop at her family. Helena Bertinelli shot at your mother. She also murdered four men in cold blood" Diggle said.

Tommy nodded. "Sounds like the type of person you would take down" he said.

"She has to have reasons for what she's doing" Oliver said.

Tommy and Diggle looked at each other. "Since when do you care if someone has reasons for why they're doing what they're doing? I thought it was kill first ask questions later" Tommy said. Oliver glared at him.

Diggle got up and walked over to Oliver. "Just in case you need a refresher Oliver, she's the bad guy. She is the killer and whatever's going on in your head you better get it straight man" he said.

"I know what I'm doing" Oliver said.

Diggle just looked at him. "Now I know how your family feels when you lie to them" he said. Diggle walked out of the lair.

Oliver turned to Tommy. "What about you? Do you have anything to say" he asked.

Tommy shook his head. "No I think Diggle about covered it" he said. Oliver sighed. "Look Oliver just be careful OK. If she really is as dangerous as Diggle says maybe he's right" Tommy said. He looked at his phone. "I better get going. Laurel's going to start to get worried" he said. Oliver nodded. Tommy left the lair leaving Oliver standing there alone thinking. Once Tommy left Oliver took out his phone. He dialed Felicity's number. He needed to hear her voice. He sat down at the desk looking at the photo he had of her framed. He needed her right now. She was his guiding light.

Felicity saw her phone ringing and saw it was Oliver. She answered it. "Hey Oliver" she said.

"Felicity hi. I didn't know if you'd answer what with the meetings you have and everything" Oliver said.

"Oliver I'm never too busy for you. Is something wrong" she asked.

"No I haven't had the best night and I just wanted to hear your voice" he said.

"What happened" she asked. She heard him sigh on the other end of the line.

"You have to promise you won't get mad" he said.

"Why would I get mad" she asked.

"Well because I went out to dinner with another woman" he answered. There was silence for a moment.

"You did" Felicity said. He could hear the disappointment in her voice.

"Yes but I swear it wasn't anything serious. It was more like a business dinner but I wanted to tell you so you didn't hear it from someone else first and so the media can't spin it around on me. I promise I was thinking about you the whole time" Oliver said.

"Well thank you for telling me you have no idea how much that means to me" Felicity said.

"Yea well I was thinking when you get home maybe we could just, I don't know, have a day just the two of us. No distractions from anyone or anything. Just you and me that's it" Oliver said.

Felicity smiled. This is what she had been waiting for and what they honestly needed. "That sounds amazing" she said.

"I have a surprise for you" he said.

"Should I be looking forward to this surprise or dreading it" she asked.

"I promise it's a good surprise. You're going to love it" he said.

"Well then I can't wait" she said.

"I love you so much" he said.

"I love you too" she said.

"I'll see you when you get home" Oliver said.

"I'll be back tomorrow" she said.

"OK have a good night" he said.

"You too" she said. They hung up and Felicity got her coat. She walked down to the lobby of the hotel she was staying at and met Lucious Fox. He led her down some stairs to the basement.

Once they got to the basement Lucious opened a secret door in the wall and him and Felicity stepped inside. He closed the door behind them locking it. "Is it ready" she asked.

He nodded. "Everything's good" he said leading her over to a desk. He unlocked a drawer and took out a metal box.

"I'm glad your OK after being shot like you were" she said.

Lucious nodded. "It'll take more then a bullet to kill me" he said. Felicity smiled at him. He put the metal box on the desk.

Felicity walked over to him. "I take it Bruce knows about this" she asked.

Lucious nodded his head. "It was his suggestion. He wants to make sure we're protected" Lucious started.

"This will definitely help with that" she said. Lucious unlocked the box and opened it. Inside were two devices that looked like beepers but they were more dangerous.

Felicity smiled "I'll take this one" she said taking one of the beepers out and putting it in her pocket.

"Make sure you always have it on you" Lucious said.

Felicity nodded. "You too" she said.

They shared a look. This device would always make sure they were OK just in case they were attacked and Bruce or the hood weren't there to protect them.

The next morning, in Starling City, Quentin knocked on the door of the Queen mansion. Oliver opened it. Quentin just looked at him. "Detective. Is everything OK" Oliver asked.

Quentin walked into the mansion. "Your buddy with the arrows. He was at Russo's last night" Quentin said.

"I was there earlier" he said looking at Quentin who was glaring at him. "Which I assume you know about. Just so you know it wasn't a date. It was a business meeting and I already told Felicity about it" Oliver said looking at Quentin who continued to glare at him. "What, you think I'm the hood guy again" he asked.

"Heh, no. Your "business associate". Helena Bertinelli. If I were you, I'd stay away from her. Her family is bad news on a good day" Quentin said.

"Why the sudden concern for my well-being" Oliver asked.

"A few weeks ago, I made a mistake. I almost got you killed" Quentin said.

"So you felt like you owed me one" Oliver said.

"If I did, as far as I'm concerned, this clears the books" Quentin said. Oliver nodded. "Plus I saw what losing you did to Felicity the first time. She loves you Oliver and…" Quentin started to say. He sighed. "I can't believe I'm really going to say this but there are worse people out there Felicity could love. You're not the worst of them and I don't want her to go through losing you again" Quentin said.

Oliver looked at him shocked. Then he smiled. "Mr. Lance is this your way of saying you like me" Oliver asked.

Quentin shook his head rapidly. "Just be careful, not just for your sake but Felicity's too" he said. He left the mansion. Oliver closed the door. He smiled. I think he actually likes me in some weird way Oliver thought.

Tommy drove up to his father's house. The only person who would shut down all of his accounts would be his father. He took a deep breath. He just had to get this over with. He got out of the car and walked up to the front door. He knocked on the front door. One of the maid's opened the door. They smiled at Tommy. "Mr. Tommy it's nice to see you" the maid said.

"Hello Kathryn" he said hugging her. He walked into the house.

"It's been a long time Mr. Tommy" Kathryn said.

Tommy smiled at her. "I already told you, you can call me Tommy" he said. She nodded. He looked around. "Is my father around" Tommy asked.

"Yes Mr…um I mean Tommy. I'll let him know you're here" she said.

Tommy nodded. "Thank you" he said. Kathyrn left the room leaving Tommy to look around. He saw a picture on the front table that he picked up and looked at.

It was a picture of his father and his new wife on their wedding day. He had never met the woman but he had seen pictures of her. Honestly he felt kind of bad for her. She didn't know who she was actually marrying and now she was stuck with him. "It's a beautiful picture isn't it" someone said behind Tommy which made him jump a little he turned around and saw the woman from the picture standing there. Tommy put the picture down. Eve walked over to him. "My name is Eve and it's nice to meet you Tommy" she said holding out her hand.

Tommy shook her hand. "You too" he said.

"We missed you at the wedding" she said.

"Yea sorry about that. I couldn't support my father ruining another life" he said.

"Your father is an amazing man" Eve said.

Tommy rolled his eyes. "Well you haven't been married to him for that long" he said.

Just then Kathryn walked back into the room. "Tommy, your father is outside practicing his fencing" she said.

Tommy nodded. "Thank you Kathryn" he said. He turned back to Eve. "It was nice to meet you" he said.

She smiled at him. "You too" she said. He left the room and headed out to the back where his father was.

Tommy walked outside where is father was practicing his fencing. "We have to talk" Tommy said. Malcolm didn't say anything. "Dad" Tommy said frustrated.

"I'm a little preoccupied at the moment. You can wait until I'm done" Malcolm said.

"All of my accounts are frozen. My credit cards are all cancelled. How did you even pull that off? You should have no control over my accounts" Tommy asked.

"Money talks Tommy. I just so happen to know the people who run the bank you were putting your money in. One phone call from me and a lot of money and it's very easy to get them to freeze your accounts" Malcolm said while still fencing.

"Do you think this is a joke" Tommy asked.

Malcolm stopped fencing and turned to his son. "No" he said. He took his helmet off and panted. "You are. Although I must say your chronic irresponsibility and terminal laziness has lost it's humor" Malcolm said.

"I've done good for myself without you. I have a job, a wife and a daughter…" Tommy said.

"Yet here you are standing in front of me begging for me to unfreeze your accounts" Malcolm said. Tommy just glared at him. Malcolm let out a little laugh. "You're wondering why now. The better question is why not sooner" he said. Tommy continued to glare at him. "There is a way for me to unfreeze your accounts and I think you know how" Malcolm said.

Tommy shook his head. "Not going to happen. That's my money that I worked for" he said.

Malcolm nodded. "That's true but you'd be surprised what you can do when you wave a little money at the owners of the banks. Also I wouldn't try to switch banks. No where else will take your money. Good luck" Malcolm said playfully slapping Tommy's cheek. "You know what I want Tommy. Think about it" he said putting his helmet back on he went back to fencing. Tommy walked away upset and frustrated. This is one of the many reasons he didn't have a relationship with his father even though that's what his father wanted.

That night, Felicity walked up to Helena who was at her fiancé's grave. She pulled out a couple files. "Those are the rest of the names of people who work for your father" she said.

Helena looked through the files then up at Felicity. "Thank you. Why are you so willing to help me though? I thought you said you weren't helping me anymore" Helena asked.

Felicity nodded. "I didn't want to but I know what you're going through" she said.

Helena looked at her skeptically. "I doubt that" she said.

Felicity sighed. "When Oliver went missing I had a lot of dark thoughts. I was angry and lost for a long time. Luckily I had people who loved me to make sure I didn't do anything to extreme. Luckily Oliver came back and I know for you it's different because your fiancé's not going to come back which I'm sorry about but if I can help you in anyway get through it then I will" she said.

"Felicity" she heard someone say behind her. She turned around and saw Oliver standing there.

"Oliver? What are you doing here" Felicity asked.

"I could ask you the same thing" Oliver said.

"I had some business to take care of with Helena" Felicity said.

"How did you find me here" Helena asked.

"I followed you from your house. Then when I got here I saw you here" Oliver said looking at Felicity.

"She called me and told me where she was going to be" Felicity said.

Oliver nodded and looked at the grave behind them. He turned to Helena. "Your fiancé" he asked.

"Yea" Helena said.

"You said that losing him was your crucible. That it changed you. You didn't say how" Oliver said shaking his head.

"When you love someone as much as I love him with all of your heart then you, you can't just turn that emotion off when they're taken from you. You still feel things this deeply and if it can't be love that you feel then…" Helena started.

"Then it becomes hate" Felicity finished for her. Both Oliver and Helena looked at Felicity. Felicity just looked at Oliver.

"Hate for who" he asked still looking at Felicity.

"Oliver I told you when I lost you I went down a dark path. I understand what Helena's doing" she said.

Oliver looked at her surprised. "You know" he asked. Felicity nodded.

"I'm going to go" Helena said walking past the couple. She turned around and looked at them. "You guys should stay away from me" Helena said.

"Helena wait" Felicity started to run after her but Oliver grabbed her arm.

"Felicity she's right. You should stay away from her" he said.

"What? No. She needs someone who understands her. She's not bad just like the guy in the hood isn't bad" Felicity said pulling her arm out of Oliver's grasp.

"What" Oliver asked shocked.

"These vigilantes are helping the city and I'm going to help them in anyway I can" Felicity said. She ran after Helena. "Helena wait up" she said catching up to her. Just then a car pulled up and men got out. Oliver grabbed Felicity and pulled her behind him.

Nick Salvati stepped out of the car pointing a gun at Helena. "Get in" he said. Two men grabbed Helena and brought her into the car.

Oliver and Felicity held up there hands. "Leave her here. She has nothing to do with any of this" Oliver said talking about Felicity.

Nick shook his head. "So she can go to the cops. Not a chance" Nick said. Two men walked up to Felicity and grabbed her roughly.

Oliver punched one of the guys then the other. Oliver grabbed Felicity. "Are you OK" he asked looking her over.

Felicity nodded her head. "Yea I'm fine. What was…OLIVER WATCH OUT" Felicity yelled just as Nick came up behind him and hit him with the butt of his gun. Oliver fell to the floor unconscious. "Oliver" Felicity yelled out going to check on him but Nick pointed his gun at Oliver's head.

"Get in the car now or I blow out his brains" Nick said. Felicity looked at him. She nodded and walked over to the car. "Bring him" Nick said as two of the men grabbed Oliver's unconscious body and threw him into the car.

One of the men sat in the back holding a gun to Felicity and Helena. Felicity looked at Oliver's body as he slept. She looked over at Helena who slowly nodded at her trying to tell her it was going to be OK. They arrived at a warehouse and one of the men grabbed Helena and pulled her out. Then they grabbed Felicity and pulled her out. They tied them up to chairs with zip-ties and Oliver was dragged over to a chair and tied up too. He was coming to. "Oliver" Felicity called.

Oliver came back to his senses and realized he was tied up. He looked over at Felicity. "Felicity" he called.

He looked over at her and saw her tied up. "Are you OK" he asked.

Felicity nodded. "Are you OK" she asked.

"I'll live" Oliver answered.

"My father is going to kill you for this" Helena said to Nick. He slapped her across the face. She grunted as both her and the chair she was sitting in fell over. Oliver was working on getting his hands out of the zip-ties. He had to make sure both Felicity and Helena were safe even if it meant revealing his secret to Felicity.

"I've been wanting to do that for years, you spoiled bitch" Nick said. One of the other men picked up the chair then put Helena back on it. "I knew it was someone from the inside waging war against your father and me. I just never thought it'd be this inside" Nick said. Helena scoffed. He held out her necklace. "You dropped this at Russo's" he said.

"You're smarter than I gave you credit for, Nicky" Helena said.

"You're not" Nick said. He went to hit her again.

"Hey!" Oliver called out. Nick looked over at Oliver. "You're a businessman, right? So let's talk business. I can offer you a lot of money if you let us go" Oliver said. Helena started working on getting her hands out of the zip-ties.

"This isn't about money, Richie Rich. This is about loyalty" Nick said.

"They've got nothing to do with any of this" Helena said.

"Then what the hell is it about" Nick asked.

"My father had Michael murdered" Helena said. Salvati chuckled.

"Of course he did. He didn't want you to know the truth" Nick said moving behind Helena. "Your rat of a fiancé was gathering evidence. He was talking to the freaking FBI. The love of your life was going to destroy your father" Nick said grabbing her hair and pulling it roughly.

"Your wrong" Helena said.

Nick let go of her. He walked in front of her. "Found a laptop in Michael's bag Helena. Everything that could send your father and me to prison for the rest of our lives was on it. That computer…" Nick started.

"Was mine" Helena said. Nick glared at her. Felicity looked over at Oliver and he lightly nodded at her. "Michael wasn't the one talking to the FBI. I was" Helena said.

"You" Nick said disbelievingly.

"My father's a monster who doesn't care who he hurts to keep his money and power and I wanted it to stop" Helena explained.

"Well, then it's your fault Michael's dead. Not your father for ordering the hit or me for carrying it out" Salvati said. Helena glared up at him. "Yours" Nick said pointing at Helena.

"You shot Michael" Helena said.

Nick walked up to Helena and put his hands through her hair. He grabbed her face. "In the chest so he knew it was me" Nick said. Oliver looked over at Felicity. Felicity looked back at him. He gave her a look telling her everything was going to be OK. Nick walked over to Felicity. "Now for you Ms. Lance. You're the one who's been giving her information" he said.

"What" Felicity asked.

Helena shook her head. "No she had nothing to do with this it was all me" she said.

Nick laughed and turned to Helena. "You had to get the names of all your father's employees from somewhere and your not smart enough to do it by yourself" he said. He turned back to Felicity. He grabbed her by the hair.

Oliver glared at him. "HEY" he yelled.

Nick looked over at him and laughed. "Don't worry. I'll make it quick" he said. Felicity kicked him in the knee hard. He yelled out in pain. He looked over at Felicity his anger risen. "You stupid bitch" he said hitting Felicity across the face with his gun knocking her out. Oliver glared at him. "I'm going to enjoy this" he said pointing the gun at Felicity's head. Oliver broke out of his zip-ties. He charged Nick.

One of the other guys grabbed Oliver and Helena broke out of her zip-ties. Oliver kicked the guy who grabbed him in the leg, grabbed him and used him as a shield as another guy started shooting at him. He walked over to the guy who was shooting the gun with his human shield. He threw the guy he was using as a shield at the guy who was shooting at him. The guy dropped the gun. Oliver kicked it away. Helena was fighting Nick. Oliver punched the guy who had had the gun twice in the face. The guy pulled out another gun. Oliver grabbed his arm and twisted it throwing him on the ground taking the gun from him. Oliver hit the guys arm with the butt of the gun. Then he hit him in the face with the gun. He grabbed his head under his arms and watched as Helena was holding Nick by the neck.

"You will burn in hell for what you've done" Nick said.

"It'll be worth it" Helena said.

Oliver watched this interaction and finally snapped the guys neck. Helena killed Nick. Oliver panted as he looked at Helena. "Helena" he asked.

Helena looked over at him. She was also panting. She shook her head. "I didn't have a choice, Oliver" she said. Oliver just looked at her.

"No one can know my secret" she said. Oliver couldn't believe it. She sounded just like him.

"Oliver" he heard Felicity call out from behind him. He ran over to her and cut the zip-ties off her wrists. He walked back in front of her and knelt down.

"Are you OK" he asked.

Felicity nodded. "I think so" she said. She looked around the warehouse and saw the men who kidnapped them dead. "What happened" she asked. Oliver looked back at Helena. He didn't know what he was going to tell Felicity but he was going to have to figure out something.
