At Tommy and Laurel's apartment, Tommy had just finished his dinner and went into his bedroom and closed the door. He hadn't been talking all day and Laurel was worried. She got up. "I'll be right back. I'm going to check on daddy" Laurel said to her daughter.
Rebecca nodded. "OK mommy" she said.
Laurel walked over and kissed her daughter on the head. She walked into their bedroom and saw Tommy sitting on the edge of the bed. She walked over to him. "You OK" she asked sitting down next to him.
"Spoke to my dad today" Tommy said.
"I bet that was fun" Laurel said.
"He explained to me what happened with my credit card yesterday and my checking account, my savings account, my brokerage account, my stock portfolio. He cut me off completely" Tommy said.
"What? How can he do that" Laurel asked.
"Apparently he has his connections" tommy said.
"My car got repossessed. That was fun. All I have is this apartment, you and Becca. I can't support you guys. I won't even be able to support our new baby" Tommy said.
Laurel moved closer to him and took his hand. "We are going to be fine Tommy. In fact we are going to be great Merlyn money or not" Laurel said. Tommy looked over at her. He wasn't so sure. "You know, you have everything you need right here" she said.
Tommy smiled at her. "I suppose your right. I have a loving wife, an incredible daughter and a roof over my head" Tommy said.
"Exactly" Laurel said. They smiled at each other.
Just then, Rebecca ran not the room. "Daddy, are you OK? You were sad" Rebecca asked.
Tommy picked up his daughter and held her. He kissed her head. "I was sad but now I'm fine. I have everything I need right here" he said wrapping an arm around Laurel and pulling her closer.
At the Queen mansion, Oliver stood in the hallway watching Moira and Walter reunite. He walked away from the door. "Is she alright" Thea asked walking into view.
Oliver walked over to his sister and pointed at the door. "Walters home" he said. Thea smiled at him. "She's going to be fine" Oliver said.
"Look I'm sorry if I was a bitch with you earlier" Thea said.
"There were a few times. Could you be more specific" Oliver joked.
"Don't push it" Thea said.
"Don't worry. You weren't a bitch. At the hospital, you were a littleā¦A little bit" Oliver said.
Thea chuckled. "Look, I'm just worried about you. You seem really lonely and we all have our secrets, Ollie. Clearly you have yours and it's fine if you don't want to share them with us but I just really think you should share them with someone" Thea said. Thea walked up to him and kissed his cheek. She walked away. Oliver stood there thinking.
Across the city, Oliver was guiding Felicity down a hallway. He had a surprise for her. She was blindfolded and had no idea where Oliver was taking her but she trusted him. She would trust him with her life. "Oliver where is this surprise" Felicity asked.
"We're almost there" Oliver said. He stopped walking in front of a door and took out keys. He unlocked the door.
"Whatever it is Oliver you didn't have to do it" she said.
Oliver opened the door and turned on the light. "OK. It's just a little further" Oliver said taking Felicity's hand and leading her into the room. He shut the door behind him.
Oliver pulled the blindfold off Felicity's eyes. She put on her glasses and looked around. It was a two story apartment. It had a fireplace in the middle and a balcony that looked out over the city. She looked at Oliver shocked. "What is this" she asked.
"It's our new place" he said.
"Our new place? You bought this for us" she asked.
Oliver nodded. "I wanted us to have the chance to go back to where we were before I went on that stupid boat" Oliver said.
Felicity looked at Oliver closely. "Oliver I don't know if we're ready" she said.
Oliver took her hand. "I know we are" he said.
Felicity looked at Oliver. She smiled at him. "OK. Let's do it" she said.
Oliver smiled wide. "This is going to work. I promise" he said. Felicity nodded. He kissed her passionately. Felicity kissed him back. Both were unaware that across the way on a rooftop they were being watched. Helena pulled the binoculars away from her face. Felicity was his weakness and she feared for everyone if he ever lost her.
