Hey Yo! NerdRyuu here, for the eleventh chapter of Udan's Legends! last chapter was packed up with info! a brief look at Leni's past, one piece of the Dragon Mural! the introduction of this version of Zack and his father! and Lincoln, discovering about the imprisoned dragon! let's see what happens next!

But before this, let's this month's question!

Tornado man: are u gonna have all loud girls in his (Linc) harem or just a few also, what are your thought on having Carlota joining Lincoln later in the story

I am almost regretful of spelling out of the start about the harem aspect of the story, since I started to develop the story, this aspect, although still very present, will be taken aback for the time being, since I do not want this to be a mindless predictable harem story. See the 'harem' more like the party of characters present with Linc! for the answer, aside from Lily, everyone will be present, probably not everyone at the same time, 'cause menaging 11 characters in a party is already hard in a RPG, in a written story that needs to make sense is even worse, and Carlota, well, it'll take a VERY LONG TIME to we even get to Ronnie Anne in the story (Probably a post-game content or sequel if this was a real video-game LOL), and I don't have The Casagrande a full idea.

Having that said, let's start this!

DISCLAIMER: I do NOT own The Loud House

Leni turned to Lincoln, somehow she knew exactly what he had in mind. They stood on a upper balcony that overlooked the porch, it had stair on both ends of the balcony.

Numbering all the soldiers present, they were over numbered almost four to one. It wasn't a number particularly high per say, Leni knew that she and Lincoln alone would be able to take that amount, but she didn't knew exactly how Luna would fair in a battle, Lynn would have some difficulty due numbers, the elf deduced, but the real challenge laid on Lincoln's refusal of killing, something that she also refused.

And there was the fact that the Jarl would be ready to throw all of them in the dungeons forever if they failed.

Well, if they succeeded, they would need to with a very scared and very angry dragon.

Yeah, the best act they could do was not trying to free the dragon, they had all odds stacked against them and even success didn't looked very appealing to her.

The most logical thing they could do now was thinking another way to convince the Jarl, and pray that the dragon won't kill everyone in return.

But Lincoln was out of his mind.

He was going to make a surprise spell to distract everyone as he runs to figure a way to free the dragon from it's chains.

But the boy's refusal of doing harm to anyone would be his undoing, as he would fail to get even close of the dragon.

Well, not if she does something.

"Lincoln" She spoke, grabbing the attention of the boy, who stepped back when he saw that Leni wasn't a normal Elf anymore.

A third eye shined on the center of her forehead, round and beautiful, the pattern on her irises was multicolored, like a beautiful stained glass vitral, matching the new colors of her two regular eyes.

Her three eyes looked at the boy, who was flabbergasted by the shocking sight. The elf shook her head softly and spoke the words "Close your eyes."

The elf stepped forward to the Jarl, grabbing the attention of Luna and Lynn as Leni cleared her throat.

The Jarl turned to the elf, who was once again a normal elf, with her sapphire blue eyes and no third eye on her whatsoever.

"You Sir Jarl, may allow me to illuminate your vision a little!" She said opening a smile, the Jarl furrowed his eyebrows, confused. Leni then grabbed the glasses from her forehead and with a cheeky smile, put them on, letting the rim slide a little down the nose as she tilted her head down and looked at the Jarl. "I'll show you why I'm the enlightened one!"

As so, Leni stomped her staff on the floor hard, making a loud bang. A blinding gold light erupted from the point of impact, and her very own body also shined brightly. Leni chuckled with a smug smile.

"What is the meaning of this?" The Jarl gawked trying to protect his eyes.

"Go Linkie, it's your time to shine!" Leni spoke with a smile, using the tip of her staff to knock The blinded Trois in the side of the jaw, making him fall unconscious.

"Are we starting it now?" Lynn said surprised, she was unsheathing her sword and turning around, the soldiers behind them sprinted in their direction with their spears pointed at them

"I hope Link and Leni know what they're doing!" Luna said, slipping sideways to avoid the attack, the girl them pulled her Ax from her back with one hand and with the other, touched the soldier's hands, making them tremble the same way they did with Lynn, making the soldier drop the spear.

Lincoln looked over the ledge, the soldiers that were poking the dragon were heading to the stairs Lincoln furrowed his eyebrows, he took a very deep breath and sprinted over the ledge climbing it and jumping over.

The Young wizard looked down and used the air in his lungs to breath an icy wind that formed a snow slide below his feet and slide down safely.

"Stop the boy!" He heard the voice of the Jarl shouting to the soldiers. "He's going to free the dragon.

The boy quickly pointed his hand to the snow slide as he ran on the dragon's direction, and quickly swung it into the direction of the stairs that the soldiers were descending, the slide then suddenly flew on that direction, hitting the stairs just below one the soldiers and exploded in a messy pile of snow, making the soldiers slip and fall onto it.

Lincoln then looked at his other side, and saw another group of soldiers coming. He raised his hand again and with a purple glow, half a dozen spiritual horses were summoned.

The spectral horses forced the soldiers stop as it neighed and reared threateningly.

Atop of the ledge, Leni continued to glow as she clubbed her staff around graciously on the guards that could do little due the blinding light, they weren't able to even get near the elf, she had her third eye open, she dodged or blocked each attack from the dozens of soldiers that approached her.

Lynn used her shield to block the spears and used her sword to cut them as the spears had wooden poles. Lynn wasn't against killing in battle, but if she did, she knew that if she did killed them, they would be in even worse waters with the Jarl by the end of this, this and Lincoln would make her have an earful. So, she used her shield and sword to bash the helmeted soldiers to knock them down without killing them. Ok the corner of her eye, she saw the, a squad of soldiers reading their bows on Lincoln's direction, she looked over and saw Luna close to them. "Hey! Luns!" She shouted to the musician, fighting off a trio of soldiers.

"What?" Luna shouted back.

"Archers! To your right! They're going for Lincoln!"

"Got it!" Luna, jumped back, taking the advantage of height to her Ax, but as an defensive tool, strumming to cause an shockwave to take down the archers, and when she came close enough, she used her technic to make their bodies shake uncontrollably, and finally using her weapons as intended, chopping the bows in half.

"Enough of this." Trois finally spoke, shielding his eyes with a hand and swinging his blade on Leni's back, but the elf heel turned and blocked the blade with her staff.

"Very dishonorable attacking from behind." Leni spoke with her cheeky smile still intact, Trois was shocked when he saw that Leni had a third eye on her forehead. "Maybe I should teach you some battle etiquette."

Lincoln was close of one of the chains that held one of the wings of the dragon, when she was forced to stop abruptly when a spear was thrown before him, he looked up and saw a single soldier he was swinging from a chain that hanged from the ceiling.

The Soldier then let himself fall in front of Lincoln and grabbing the spear back.

"I'm sorry, Lincoln." The voice of Zachary was heard, making Lincoln identify the helmeted soldier.

"No. I'm sorry Zachary." Lincoln sighed. "Bur I can't let This creature suffer because of the blind fear of that man up there!" Lincoln pointed back to the porch.

"If you do that, this dragon will destroy the entire island! And kill everyone!" Zachary shouted back.

"If it does so, it wouldn't be the fault of the dragon. He was imprisoned, tortured, let to starve! What would you do if you was in his place?" Lincoln countered. Before Zachary could respond, Lincoln continued. "Fear or not, this decision your Jarl made was cruel, Inhumane!"

"Why do you even care about that? That creature is just an monster! It's not a human like me or you! Not even an Elmer like your friend!" Zachary spoke back.

"These creatures are as smart and wise as the sages themselves. They think, therefore, they are!" Zachary was taken aback after Lincoln said that, the soldier then looked at the dragon and back to Lincoln. "Their language can't be understood by anyone, what you hear as just animalistic grunts and snarls, I hear pleads for help!"

Zachary pursed his lips, then looked at the porch, where he saw his father fighting the enlightened figure that was Leni, then to the soldiers that fought the spiritual horses that Lincoln summoned, and finally to Lincoln again.

"What would you even do if you actually free it anyway? Are you really willing to risk the life of our island just for the dragon's?" Zachary asked. Lincoln turned his eyes to the dragon.

The creature had stopped struggling, it's eye fixed on Lincoln, almost like it was awaiting for Lincoln to free it. Lincoln looked back to Zachary.

"Zachary. I'm not sure I will be able to with it. I'm not going to lie. But Maja says that compassion and kindness is the way to stop the darkness of one's heart." Zachary stood silent.

"I am a soldier." Zachary spoke finally, looking down to the spear in his hands. "My duty is to obey what my Jarl says." He stopped for a second, trying to formulate the rest of his speech. "And my orders are to stop you from releasing the dragon." He stopped, his head still low.

And in a quick movement, Zachary turned around and impaled his spear on the gears securing the chains, making it crack and snap.

"That's why I'm quitting."

The dragon then opened it's wing, snapping the chains, and in a snowball effect, the chains that secured it's giant body in place snapped one by one, they heard screams as the dragon finally slashed the chains holding it's muzzle shut and roaring in a angered and relieved state.

Lincoln ran to the front of the dragon as it freed itself, ready to make his next move, he looked up, he was directly below the ledge he had jumped off.

Moments of silence ensued, as everyone present stood not only in silent, but immobilized, eyes locked on the gigantic dragon looking at them.

When the dragon opened it's mouth, Lincoln was faster as he shouted the very same word he heard being said by that dragon.

Fush

The dragon then recoiled, but not by the thunder that stroke down upon his shout, but by the fact that that boy had spoke his speech.

The dragon looked down at the boy, who sweated profusely, nervous and scared. Anyone would be scared when locked eyes with a giant lizard that was at least six to seven times bigger then your own size

The others present still immobilized by the dragon, apprehensive for the next seconds filled the place. The guards feared for their lives, Trois feared for his son, that was down there, close to the dragon, to the girls, fearing that Lincoln's gamble would just result on his and their deaths and the Jarl feared for his hold, his island, and, now that the dragon was free, praying that the boy's stupid idea would result in a positive outcome.

"Thou mouth speaks our speech." The dragon spoke finally to the boy, it's voice was deep and thunderous, as mighty as the very storm it conjured. The only thing Lincoln could muster was a single nervous nod. The dragon chuffed.

"P-please, forgive the men here present!" The boy shouted, practically puking the words out in a single breath.

The dragon looked up to the Jarl, who fall back in fear, believing his life was about to come to an end, the dragon chuffed in amusement, before looking down to the boy once again.

"These men imprisoned me, starved me and tortured me." The dragon huffed in anger, making the people around get even more nervous, as they were unable understand what the dragon was saying, just what Lincoln was saying. "I was bound, immobile, muzzled! Only able to whisper a single word!"

"By fear!" Lincoln was quick to explain. "I know what they did was inexcusable, and I'm not trying to find one for them, because I can't." The boy stopped, sighing. The dragon was looking back to the Jarl.

That man of high position and power, looked so pitiful now, a whimpering man cowering for his life. That amused the dragon.

"But they did that not out of malice, but by fear and stupidity!" Lynn had to hold her mouth shut to not laugh at the face the Jarl made. "They were afraid, and because of this, they stubbornly refused the idea of releasing you, but this stubbornness just worsened the while situation. And because of this… I am here, to apologize for their behalf." Lincoln not sitting on his knees and bowning down. The dragon looked at the boy, then to the Jarl, and made a deep growl.

"I've only come here to this island to find shelter." The dragon spoke finally. "I did nothing to them, but they still did what they did." The dragon growled again, getting even closer to the ledge, the people stepped back, nervous. "As revenge, I kept uttering that word. They imprisoned me, so I imprisoned them back."

"This made them even more desperate." Lincoln explained. The dragon looked down to the boy again.

"And thou?" He asked. "Why come here and fight to free me? Thou believe that just because you can understand me you'd be able to convince me to not kill them?" Lincoln sighed.

"I… We, came here to help and stop the storm. We didn't knew what was making the storm, nor that you was here, or that any of this was happening. But when I saw you… I just needed to help you."

"Thou put the safety of this island at risk, just because you wanted…" The dragon drawn out his words. Lincoln lowered his head. "Your morals make you a fool! The risk you've put your allies… you put them on a gambit that you didn't knew it would pay off!"

Lincoln said nothing, as he agreed with the dragon. His vision got so tunneled that he put the lives of his friends for chance.

"You amuse me Dragon-Tongue." The dragon spoke. Lincoln looked up in surprise. "It is clear you have much to learn." The dragon started to turn around, but stopped and looked at Lincoln again. "What's your name Dragon-Tongue?"

"Lincoln. Lincoln Snowtop." The boy introduced himself. The dragon growled.

"It's been very long since I saw a Dragon-Tongue…" The dragon spoke. It's a pleasure to meet one in this day and age." Lincoln couldn't stop but smile.

"And yours?" He dared to ask.

"Tsharlith." The dragon spoke, introducing his name.

"Oh…" Lincoln said looking down, that name sounded awfully similar to a human one that Lincoln knew, but the boy didn't brought it up for respect to the big dragon, as he finally turned around.

"WAIT!" Both Lincoln and Tsharlith looked at the source of the shout, it was the Jarl, that hurried down the stairs to meet with Lincoln. The dragon growled to the man, making him recoil in fear, then sighing and making a deep bowl. "I-in the name of Annecia… I Jarl Rubben Annecia I, apologize profusely for my actions and decisions! As the boy said, fear and stubbornness blinded my reasoning… B-but I ask you to not take revenge on the innocent people of Annecia!" The Jarl pleaded, almost crying as he choked on his words.

Tsharlith nothing said for a solid minute before speaking.

"Grah Jugh Hum to Cravaswan."

"W-what did he say?" The Jarl asked to the boy, Lincoln made an uncomfortable laugh.

"He… said to not do that again and… that you have to take responsibility on what you did!" Lincoln smiled side glancing the dragon that rolled his eyes, Lincoln didn't used the exact words it had used.

"I… See." The Jarl stepped back. "I apologize again."

The dragon snarled and looked to the boy.

"Come Dragon-Tongue, and hear closely, because I won't speak more than once." The dragon said turning around and crawling to the entrance of the great porch and looking at the storming skies.

Lincoln ran to meet up with the dragon as he ordered.

"Pay attention." The dragon said, before performing a powerful shout.

Theon

Quickly, the rain stopped, and beans of sun light started to appear as the storm clouds started to dissipate, Annecia was finally graced with light with the dawn of a new day.

Lincoln blinked as he registered the word he just heard. Once again, instead of just a roar made by the white dragon, he understood that word, Clear.

"Farewell Lincoln Snowtop, the Dragon-Tongue. Maybe in the future, the gods will make our paths cross again." The dragon then spread his wings, giving a relieved grunt as it stretched its muscles and with a powerful flap of his wings, took flight.

Lincoln smiled as the dragon flew away, the boy was able to hear a pleased roar, not a word or such, the dragon just had left out a happy shout.

"You did great Linkie." He heard steps coming from behind him, when he look, he saw Leni, Luna and Lynn approaching, each one with a happy smile on their faces.

"That was amazing!" Luna spoke. "You spoke with that dragon! Convinced him to not kill all of us! I didn't knew it was possible!"

Lynn grumbled, ignoring Luna's praises and punched Lincoln's shoulder.

"Ouch!" Lincoln recoiled, rubbing his shoulder. "What was that for?" He questioned the knight frowning.

"That's for being a blockhead and putting all our lives in a gut feeling!" She scowled. "You could have all of us killed!" Lincoln was about to speak up but Luna beat him.

"Lynn, please, everything ended up well!"

"By a miracle." General Trois spoke as he walked up to them, he was visibly disgruntled, behind him, the Jarl approached sheepishly with his head low, twirling with his fingers the tip of his beard. "I reckon your triumph boy, this I admit." The General started. "But you went against direct orders from the Jarl and also insulted him!" Trois barked angrily, before the Jarl put his hand on the general's shoulder.

"Wait!" The voice of Zachary made them turn around, and said boy was running on their direction. "You think it Lincoln who freed the dragon! But it was I Zack!" He pointed his thumb towards himself.

"Zack…" The general muttered before scowling. "It's not time for one of your jests, get out of here!"

"No dad, My job as a soldier is to protect the people! But your orders were just going to ensure the doom of the island! Your stubbornness on seeing the craziness of Mr. Annecia's orders were just hurting the people!"

Trois stood in silence. "I'll deal with you at home." He spoke coldly before turning back to Lincoln .

"Stand down general." The ruler ordered in a defeated tone. "More damage was prevented then caused tonight…" He then looked at the clear skies, basking his face on the hot wind if the morning sun. "Or should I say today."

"But Sir…" Trois turned to his ruler, trying to argue.

"Snolt." The Jarl spoke with conviction. "Please, let it go. I was wrong, they're right." The Jarl asked. The general sighed in defeat.

"Yes Sir." He spoke with reverence.

"Also, please, may you go fetch Vito from the cells, I own him a apology... And take Zachary with you. You two need to talk." He ordered the general, that made another reverence and walked up to his son, who shared a silent look, before walking off.

Combing his beard with his fingers, the Jarl turned back to the young adventurers, but before he spoke, Luna was faster.

"Save your apologies dude. You would be just repeating yourself." She said leaning on her axe that rested stuck in the ground.

"As you said." Lincoln was the next to speak. "Sage Vito is the one you need to apologize to now." The Jarl once again sighed and made a deep nod.

"Yet, How can I thank you for saving Annecia?" He asked as the five of them started to walk up to the porch to enjoy the warm sun better.

"Hum… what do you think Lynn?" Luna asked with a smirk as she sat on the ledge resting her axe by her side.

"A restock on your supplies would be, like, good, Lynn ate all your cheese earlier." Leni said pointing to the knight.

"Hey!" The Griffinheart exclaimed blushing. "Also a small amount of gold would be handy for the road."

"Well, food supplies are scarce because of the Storm and lack of shipments to the island, but you can restock all the food you want from my personal stash! And, is 500 pieces of gold enough for you?" He questioned.

"That's 125 for each of us, it sounds great!" Luna said.

"Wait, isn't the math wrong there?" Leni asked confused.

"Wrong?" Luna repeated.

"Yeah, 500 divided by 3 isn't 125! Or is me that's bd at math?" Leni scratched her chin, redoing the count on her mind.

"No, I divided by the four of us." Luna explained. "Me, you, Lynn and Linc."

"Oh!" Leni exclaimed. "You can have all, I don't want the money."" Leni said.

"Excuse me?" Lynn spoke.

"You're excused!" Leni said with a smile. Lynn just rolled her eyes and continued.

"What do you mean you don't want the money?" Lynn questioned.

"I do not need it. I already have everything I need, not just to live, but also to he happy." Leni explained and Lynn shrugged.

"It's more for us then." Lynn said with a smile, Luna laughed and Leni smiled. Lincoln then remembered Leni's weird third eye and was turning to speak with her, before Zachary reappeared, running exasperated.

"Zack?" Lincoln spoke. The soldier huffed taking his breath before speaking.

"We have a problem! Sage Vito is dead."

The four adventurers and the Jarl accompanied the soldier in a hurry back to the dungeons, where they found Trois waiting at one of the cell doors.

"My Jarl." The General greeted, before they looked inside the cell and saw the laying body of the old sage.

He was on his stomach, laying on a pool of his own blood, his neck was mutilated, several deep cuts inflicted on his head, and hands, his robes were turn apart.

The cell was empty, with only a bed on the corner, that was turned over and sheets also shredded.

"Good goddesses…" Jarl Rubben spoke. Lincoln pressed his hand over his mouth, shocked at the sight. Luna gagged and Leni winced, Just Lynn that didn't reacted.

They entered the cell, with caution. "We found here like this." The General spoke with his arms crossed.

"W-what could have done this?" Lincoln asked, nearly gagging at the sight.

"Assassination?" Lynn suggested. Lincoln shuddered.

Trois crouched down near Vito and examined the injuries. "I don't think so… these cuts look more like they're from some creature."

"Guys…" Luna spoke, they turned to her, she had her eyes glued to the bed. "I'm hearing something there."

Lynn drawn her sword. Trois slowly approached the bed. A faint sound of buzzing started to became louder and louder as the general approached.

Then, in a sudden movement, something jumped from behind the bed, pouncing on Trois, who recoiled and fell back.

It was a enormous insect-like creature, roughly the size of a large dog breed, it was like a cicada with razor sharp mandibles and legs, lacked wings and it's six legs looked like spears.

Trois held the creature back with difficulty, it was gnarling on his hand, the general shouted in pain.

Instinctively, Lincoln pointed to the creature and a small fireball was shot on it's direction.

While the fireball didn't looked like it damaged the insect, it surely caught it's attention as it let go of Trois and pounced onto Lincoln. Lincoln lifted his hands in defense but with swift swing of her sword, Lynn chopped it's head off in midair.

The creature fell dead on the ground. Green goo oozed from the severed stump of it's neck and head. Moments of silence ensued before Leni spoke up.

"Well, I think we figured out what killed the sage."

Lynn rolled her eyes at the statement of the obvious.

"What is that?" The Jarl asked with his voice breaking.

"A Cycata nymph." Lynn said cleaning the blade of her sword of the green goo.

"Nymph?" The Jarl repeated. "You mean, it was not fully grown?"

"You should be grateful it was not a fully grown one." Lynn said, prodding the Cycata corpse with her foot.

"There are not Cytinn nests on Annecia!" Trois said, wincing at his injured hand. "How this thing got here?"

Lynn looked at the bed again and approached it, she then grabbed the edge and pushed away from the wall, finding rather big hole between the stone bricks, and beyond it, a dark tunnel.

"The Castle was built onto the mountain, right?" Lynn asked Jarl Rubben.

"Yes." He confirmed.

"It looks like the mountain connects to Udan's underground cave system, this tunnel was connected it to the castle." Lynn deduced.

"Wait, you mean that the castle may be at risk of more attacks of Cytinn?" The Jarl questioned. Lynn just loomed at the dead corpse of the sage.

"Cycatas are attracted by light. This one nymph may have stumbled on this opening and attacked the sage." Luna spoke up. "I suggest someone go down there and destroy the nest before more casualties."

"I can't." Trois spoke sadly, the pain on his gnarled hand was making him tear up. "I am injured, and can't lead a battalion to down there." He sighed.

"We can go." Luna of all people offered.

"What?" Lynn questioned surprised. "Are you crazy? One Cycata nymph is one thing, a whole nest is another!"

"What? It's not lime we'll not go." Luna spoke smugly. Lynn grumbled grumpily.

How she hated that she was right.

N/A: I am taking the development of this story like a video-game, hence que 'quest' naming of chapters, and sometimes, there'll be more side-quest's type of chapters, and yeah, next chapter is more like a side-quest than a main story quest, I decided to do that to give myself a more light chapter to right on the holidays.(Hey, I'm also a human, I deserve a little resting!) But don't worry, there'll still be lore there, including what's Leni third eye? What is Udan's underground cave system? What are Cytinn?

And we also will discover the true power of Luna's Bloodline!

Also, if you didn't get it, the dragon's name, Tsharlit is a Easter Egg! I'll not talk it out loud, but if you do, you get it.

Also, I'll be honest there, Vito's name being a reference to Vito Filiponio was a complete and happy coincidence. LOL. but it worked out I guess.

I want to thank all of the feedback I've been having, my personal life isn't doing great, but writing this and reading your comments makes me get my head out of the noose, as depressing as that statement is, I truly feel like that, thank you.

If you have something to say, ask or question, feel free to! all feedback is welcome! till next month! be good!

Bye.
