The group were almost out of the Marble Zone, with Sonic carrying the Green Chaos Emerald, and they were all heading straight for to the Acorn Kingdom. Thankfully, by continuing down this path, they would eventually reach the Acorn Kingdom. They just had to keep on running, as the blue hedgehog ran on ahead of the others, as Sally and Tails ran beside each other, the fox girl keeping pace with him, as the princess carried Amy.

"Do you have a home to get to, little one?" Sally said to Tails.

"I do but...it's way too far from here." Tails said to Sally, looking down sadly. "I got here by accident, testing out my new plane, the Tornado." He said. "It crashed and I was stranded in those ruins, trying to figure out how to get home." The young boy would then look up at Sonic and smile.

"Hey Sonic, was it? Could I...come with you? I want to help!" Tails asked.

Sonic smiled back at him, and he slowed down to a stop. He looked over to Tails, his grin widening, as he put a hand on the young boy's head, rubbing it. "Of course, you can tag along little guy!" He said.

"Hold on a second!" Sally halted Sonic on the spot. "You're not thinking of letting a kid get involved in our fight with that mad scientist, are you? It's much too dangerous for someone like him!" The princess protested.

"Hmm...good point." Sonic crossed his arms, thinking it through. This brought a frown to Tails's face. "What side of the world do you live on, little guy?"

"I'm from the further parts of West Side Island. The Cocoa part of the island." Tails told Sonic. "I have my plane, but...I can't leave without it." Tails told the blue hedgehog. "It broke down when I was near here, so I ended up in the Marble Zone."

"West Side Island? That's incredibly far from here, isn't it?" Amy spoke.

Sonic thought about that. He looked to Tails and smiled. He kneeled to his level, looking him straight in the eye. "Don't worry, Tails. We can take you to the Kingdom of Acorn. It's not too far off. We'll take you there and then you can get your plane fixed, okay?" he said to Tails, smiling. "Then, you'll be able to fly home. How's that sound, little buddy?"

"Really?! Oh, man! Thanks!" The two tailed fox smiled at that, and his two namesakes swished in joy, his eyes brightening. "It's not too far from here My plane ended up at the edge of the Marble Zone, so once we get to the end, we can find it!"

"No time to waste! Keep up, ladies!" Sonic then ran off with Tails, as they both headed to the Acorn Kingdom. They were almost there, just a little more running and they would be at their destination. They would have to make their way past a small bridge that would take them across the river. It would lead them to the main path of the Acorn Kingdom. But, as Sonic and Tails approached, they would notice a large, gaping hole that was on the other side of the bridge, leading to the main road. They looked at each other, realizing that something wasn't right.

"Is this...a trap? Is that maniac trying to kill us again?!" Sally said, the fox girl being careful with Amy. They had to cross this bridge to get to the other side of the river. The hole itself wasn't too deep, but it was definitely too wide to cross by jumping.

"Aw, what?! Eggman's been here?!" Amy exclaimed. "We can't go back now! What are we going to do?! He might have seen us coming! I'm too scared!"

"I'll get across, no problem. Just have to jump at the right spot. You girls will need a boost though." Sonic looked to Tails. "Think you can get across?"

Tails nodded. He was ready. His two tails swished and began to rotate like helicopter propellers, and his body rose in the air, taking flight. "Yup!"

The hedgehog grinned at this. "Huh, so you can fly with those things? Cool!" He then jumped at the right spot on the bridge and leapt off. Sonic was flying through the air like a rocket, his quills flailing wildly as he zoomed towards the other side. The hole wasn't that big, so he had plenty of room to jump across it.

He would land on the other side, the ground cracking from the force of his jump, but he was unharmed. The hole wasn't that big after all, so he didn't really have to worry about getting hurt. The hole itself would then suddenly close. A metal platform emerged from the depths of the earth and covered up the hole, making it look as if it was never there to begin with.

Tails flew across the gap and landed next to Sonic. "Wow! That was cool!"

"Yeah!" Sonic smiled and high-fived the little guy.

Now it was time for the others. He turned his attention to them. Amy already had a way she could cross this obstacle. And it came in the form of the Chaos Emerald she still had. "I've got a Chaos Emerald, guys! We can cross easily!"

"Are you sure? Do you know how to use that thing?" Sally asked.

"Mhm. Come to think of it, recently, ever since I held onto this thing, it's been reacting to me, in a strange way. I don't know why, but it just does. It did it to me back at Soleanna and even when Eggman held me with his robot. I could just tell what it wanted to do." She would walk to the edge, holding the Chaos Emerald close. "Let's try this. I'll focus really hard, and try to imagine it moving the platform for us to walk across. I think that will work. It always seems to know what I want, so I think I can control it."

"A Chaos Emerald? Here? That explains what happened in that Marble Zone..." Sally said. She then nodded, hoping that this was the right call. Afterwards, she would hold onto Amy's shoulder. "Go ahead, give it a go."

Amy nodded. She focused, as the Chaos Emerald began to shine, reacting to her will. It was a good thing they had it on them, because it was the key to crossing the river safely. "I hope this works!" Amy concentrated as the emerald glowed, the power of Chaos flowing through it. She felt her mind and the emerald link as one. And sure enough, the hole that was covered by the metal platform suddenly opened up again.

"It worked!" Amy said. She held onto the emerald, concentrating. The platform then slowly began to rise, the hole being covered up, and the girls began to slowly make their way to the other side. "I knew it! I knew I could pull it off!"

"Awesome stuff," Sonic nudged Tails, as the two-tailed fox smiled.

Soon enough, they had reached the other side of the river. Amy would let out a breath, having not done that before, as Sally gave her a high-five. "Great going!"

With them getting past this, they continued on their way.

At the Acorn Kingdom, the guards had noticed their approach from the watchtower. "It's the Princess! Open the gate, open the gate! Princess Sally Acorn has returned!"

The drawbridge lowered and they would walk in, as many people cheered for the return of their princess. Everyone had been waiting for them. The Kingdom was filled with Mobians, all ages, species and sizes. Some of them looked to Sonic, taken aback by his species alone with how they reacted to the blue hedgehog's presence, while others looked to the pink-furred female that was with them, noticing the ripped outfit that she was in. Tails also was looked at by many, some even cooing over the adorable fox.

The torn parts of Sally's dress were covered up by the pink-furred female, who blushed from all the eyes on her. She would look around, smiling nervously at the people around them, the eyes of men and women alike were focused on them, as if they were expecting them to perform for the crowd. Sonic would wave at some people who looked at him, but Amy and Sally were still uncomfortable, especially the princess, who was still in a torn dress.

Thankfully, it didn't take long for the guards to rush towards their princess, shielding her torn parts themselves by surrounding her as she walked with Sonic, Amy, and Tails. They would eventually reach a large, elegant castle. They could see a large balcony that was attached to the top of the castle. The guards opened up the doors to the castle, allowing Sonic and the girls to enter.

Sonic and the others had entered a grand room, filled with gold, and a large staircase in the middle of the room. There were many doors, all of them leading to different places within the castle. At the very top, sitting at the throne, were the King and Queen, the latter looking just like Sally but with more matured features.

The guards stood by their side and would then bow to the King and Queen. Sonic, Tails, and Amy did the same as they were in the presence of the rulers of the kingdom. "Presenting her Royal Highness Princess Sally Alicia Acorn." One of the guards announced. Sally smiled, bowing to her parents, while Amy and Tails did the same.

"Sally!" King Maximillian instantly bolted right to her daughter. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, I am father." She looked down. "I was saved from danger by Sonic the Hedgehog, and these other two, Amy Rose, and Miles Prower." The princess gestured to the trio, who stood in front of them. "Without them, I'd have been doomed." She would explain to them. "This Sonic has saved us twice. Once in Soleanna and once again at the Green Hill and Marble Zone. I have seen him fight, and he's incredibly skilled in battle."

The king would nod at his daughter's words. He turned his gaze to the blue hedgehog. "I thank you, Sonic. For saving my daughter, and my Kingdom." He then took a deep bow towards him.

"No problem." Sonic shrugged. "Figured I'd sort things out and get her back home."

"He really is a hedgehog..." One of the guards silently said, taken aback by Sonic's presence, as was everyone else.

"Not just him, but the pink lady as well..." Another pointed out how Amy appeared to be a hedgehog too. The girl was blushing, looking down. She was feeling a bit nervous from all the attention, as was Sonic.

The Queen approached, looking to her daughter. "Sally, you should get yourself out of that ruined dress. Get into a fresh change of clothes. I can see that your new friend needs some as well."

"M-Me?" Amy blinked after being involved.

Sonic's eyes widened. He looked at Amy's ripped outfit and blushed. Amy looked away as she felt everyone staring at her. Her face flushed a deep red. She quickly turned and left, followed by Sally. "I'm glad that you've made it home safely." Queen Alicia smiled to them both, before looking at her daughter, "Now go get dressed."

Sally and Amy walked up the staircase, while Sonic and Tails remained. Sonic looked over to Tails. "Well little buddy, we'll get that Tornado fixed and you can fly off back to where you came from. It'll be alright." He said to him.

"Thanks." The young fox replied.

"You aren't hurt either, little one? Did you go through the mess my daughter went through as well?" Much like Sally, Alicia showed the same level of care for Tails, worried about him. When Alicia got close to Tails, walking over to him, Tails got a good look of her. He could see that she was a very attractive Mobian woman with a curvaceous body and a beautiful face, much like Sally but more mature.

The way that she was dressed only emphasized this, and her dress clung to her figure. She wore a beautiful dress, a golden tiara on her head and a beautiful necklace around her neck. She was a very pretty woman with a warm smile.

"N-Nothing happened, your highness. I-I'm A-Okay." Tails would say to the queen, his tails swishing. The Queen's smile only made him feel more flustered.

"Good." The Queen said to him, smiling.

Maximilian walked towards Sonic, curious about his species. "Now about you...You are a Hedgehog...I can't believe I'm actually seeing one...it's been ages...I never thought I would see a hedgehog in person." He would look at the hedgehog. "What's your name, lad?"

"I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog!" The hedgehog grinned, his trademark thumbs-up and confident expression. "I'm just someone that likes adventure. And what do ya mean by you can't believe it? You guys never saw a hedgehog?" Sonic asked.

The King would cross his arms and nod, as they walked. "Not even in my generation I've seen one. Stories and Legends of the Hedgehogs exist, but they were incredibly obscure. Unlike another species that once existed, the Echidnas, very little is known about them."

The King would continue. "No matter where you look in history or literature, hedgehogs have been an incredibly rare sight in history. Some say they never even existed. But now that you are here, it's proof they did exist." The king said, smiling.

Sonic was a bit surprised by this, and Tails as well, as he listened to the conversation. "I never thought about that." The blue hedgehog thought. He never gave much thought about the Hedgehog species at all. "Eh. Not too big of a deal to me anyways. I gotta get going to help this little guy out now. He's been a huge help to me."

"I see." King Maximillian said, looking at Tails, before looking back at Sonic. "Thank you again for bringing my daughter back, as well as her friends. Is there anything that I can do for you?"

Sonic grinned. "I don't need any rewards or nothing, but Tails here needs help fixing his plane, the Tornado. Once he's fixed up, he'll be outta your hair."

"I see." Maximillian said, looking at Tails again, before looking back at Sonic. "We don't exactly excel or put much interest in mechanical things...but we do have a local mechanic in the town. You may take him to the Mechanic, Rotor. He'll be able to help him fix the plane. As for you, we have some extra rooms here in the palace for you to stay, should you decide to stay the night. I hope that's okay."

Sonic nodded, smiling. "Yeah, I'm cool with that. As long as it's got some awesome stuff to eat! Like Chili Dogs!"

Amy found herself in a Royal Changing Room with Sally, with both girls having to change their clothes. "You know, it was nice meeting you Amy." Sally said to the pink hedgehog. "I didn't think all of that would ever happen."

Amy was looking away, blushing, and feeling embarrassed, not knowing what to say. "Y-Yeah. I'm surprised that it all went down like that. I only came to Soleanna for the event. I'm glad I could meet you as well. And Sonic too, and that little fox." Amy would turn to her and smile, "He's cute, isn't he?" She giggled. She thought about Sonic, remembering how she felt against him after the battle, and blushed even harder.

Sally began taking off the clothes she had on. She removed her damaged blue dress and let it drop to the floor, revealing her naked body. Sally was an incredibly attractive woman with a voluptuous figure, a curvy figure and a large chest. Her body was perfect, not even a single blemish on it. Her large, soft, and firm breasts bounced slightly as she moved.

Amy was in the same boat, removing her less fancy red dress and having her voluptuous body exposed. Her large chest and plump behind bouncing slightly as well. She was equally as voluptuous as Sally, her breasts and bottom being quite large and bouncy.

"Aw...I don't wanna lose this dress." Amy held her red dress, having a clear bias to it. "All these other dresses are really pretty though."

"We can get it fixed up for you, no problem. I'll have my personal dressers patch it up so it's good as new. Why don't you stay here for a while, Amy?"

"You want me to stick around?"

"Even if for a bit. To be honest with you...as dangerous as that all was...it was refreshing. A part of me's always wanted to do more than just princess duties. I've been thinking of doing something a bit more adventurous. Even if for a bit."

"You sure you wanna go through that kind of stuff? That doctor, Eggman, he was pretty scary..." Amy looked at her. She didn't want to get into any more trouble. She knew that she should be safe here. The Kingdom of Acorn is one of the most fortified kingdoms in Mobius.

"I know. As if my parents would ever allow something like that. Especially after what happened in Soleanna? No way..." She sighed, as she would put on a purple dress. "Still, if I ever get a chance...it'd be fun." She said with a smile. "So, could you hang out with me? I don't really have anyone else to do that with. Well, aside from my parents."

"Mm! I'll hang out with you!" Amy would then go to her and embrace her, holding her tight, her large bust being pushed against Sally's.

The princess was caught off guard, but then hugged back, smiling. "Gee...Thanks, Amy." The princess then looked away. "...It's too bad you don't live here. I'd love to have someone like you to hang out with. But...I guess I'll just have to make do. At least for a while."

"It's no problem. We can still talk, right?" Amy said, looking at the princess, smiling.

Sally looked back to Amy. "Yeah. I guess we can." Sally smiled.

After their talk, both girls had their new outfits on. Amy had chosen a new dress, this time a purple one. And it was just as fancy as the blue one she had been wearing before. Sally's outfit, however, was a little more casual. The purple dress had a gold hem with matching purple heels and gloves.

Sally was now dressed in a pink dress with a purple hem and matching pink heels and gloves. She also had on a small tiara that matched her fur color, and her eyes were decorated with eyeliner. The dress was short enough to reveal her beautiful thighs and legs. She looked just as beautiful as before.

In fact, Amy looked like a natural princess, just like Amy herself, with both of them having equally voluptuous bodies. Amy was absolutely stunning, impressing the eyes of Queen Alicia herself, who applauded the dress.

"Amy, you look absolutely beautiful! I never knew that you were such a beauty! You're so adorable, I love it!"

"Awww! Thank you, Your Majesty!" Amy blushed, feeling flustered at the compliments.

"Worry not about your dress. It will take at least 10 minutes for it to be restored to its original state, dear. You can keep this one for now."

"Wow, that fast?" Amy blinked. "Thanks! I'll gladly wear it until my other one gets restored." Amy said with a smile.

"Indeed! Just make yourself comfortable and have fun." The Queen smiled, giving a hug to both girls, as she was just as voluptuous, her large bust pushing against the other girls. They would return it. Afterwards, the girls left the room. The queen sighed. She hoped that her daughter wouldn't have any ideas of leaving the Kingdom...

Sally, Amy and Tails would then regroup with Sonic, the princess looking over to him.

"We have a spare room for the three of you, Sonic." She smiled, her arms crossed. She couldn't believe how well it turned out. "Thank you for saving us."

"No problem," Sonic replied with a thumbs up, his cocky smirk present on his face.

She smiled. She would gesture for him to follow, and he did so, following her to their room. "So what are we gonna do with that Chaos Emerald?" The hedgehog asked her.

She thought for a bit, as Amy had her Emerald in her hand. "The Green Hill Zone is a peaceful place, but after today, it won't be as peaceful. We'll take the Chaos Emerald and store it somewhere safe in the Kingdom, to ensure that no harm will befall the place." Sally told the hedgehog, looking back to him.

"Negative." King Maximillian suddenly appeared behind Sonic, his wife following him.

Sally looked at her father. "Father?" She asked him.

"The safety of the Emeralds has now been damaged thanks to this Eggman figure. This Emerald and the one we have here are in jeapordy. There are not many safe locations to place such powerful artifacts, especially when they have such potential to be misused. I will take the Emerald back to a new safe haven."

"Alright, then..." Sally looked to her father. "I'm guessing you know where to go, father?" She asked him, curious.

"It will be taken to the Special Zone. I will find the safest location to store it."

"Special Zone? What's that?" Amy asked.

"A nigh-unreachable dimension that's said to be the source of the Chaos Emeralds' power. There's a way to reach one of these zones, but it takes time. It'll be safe there." The king said. "You can rest easy, knowing you won't have to carry the Chaos Emerald any more, Amy." He said with a smile to her.

The girl blushed. She had been holding onto the Emerald ever since Soleanna, so now, she was free to let it go, even if she could feel something unique from it. The Emerald was soon passed over to one of the guards, who walked off with it.

Sonic and Amy looked to each other. They were still curious about Amy's strange connection to it, the Chaos Emerald reacting to her. It seemed she was connected to the Emerald in some way. Sonic shrugged it off though, knowing that Amy was safe with the Emerald, and they didn't have to worry about Eggman getting it now that the king had it. It would be fine. The Chaos Emerald will be taken to another dimension. That's all they cared about at the moment. Sonic and Amy walked into the spare room, with Tails and Sally joining them shortly.

"Man, today has been different from what I'm used to." Tails said as he looked at Sonic and Amy. "You guys are really cool! It's like you've known each other for a while now."

"Maybe a day. I only just met this guy here in Soleanna." Amy giggled, sitting down on a nearby couch. "And I'm not that special." She would say, a blush forming on her face. Sonic chuckled, sitting next to Amy. Tails and Sally sat down as well.

"Where are you from Tails?" Sally asked him, curious. She knew that West Side Island was quite a ways from here.

"From the Cocoa Island. I lived with my mom. I was on a test flight with my first-ever plane when I crashed in the Marble Zone." Tails explained.

"I've never been there, but it sounds nice. It's far away, but I hope you can go home." Amy would tell him.

The four of them talked for a little while, just talking to each other and enjoying some good old-fashioned chatting. Amy would then remember her torn-up outfit, which was in the other room. "Oh! My outfit!" Amy would rush over to the door and would look to Sonic. "I'll be back. I need to go pick up my other outfit. The queen told me it was ready." The pink hedgehog rushed out, going back to the changing room to get the outfit she left in there. She had her new purple dress, but the original red dress meant a lot to her.

At the same time, Sonic and Tails stopped by the town's local mechanic. A dark-blue Mobian Walrus, a man in a yellow jumpsuit. He was an average-built, slightly overweight mobian, in his late 30's to mid 40's. His head had two whiskers protruding out of each side. On the top, his hair was a mess, spiky in places and not very neat at all. He wore a yellow jumpsuit that was unzipped halfway. Underneath that, a black undershirt. He wore white rubber gloves that were stained with grease, as was his jumpsuit. "I'll help him fix the plane, sir." The walrus spoke to Sonic. He had a tool in his hand. "Rotor the Mechanic at your service, mister Hedgehog."

"Nice meeting ya. Thanks." Sonic nodded at the mechanic. Rotor was the best in the kingdom, according to the king. He was the best mechanic, and a lot of the citizens relied on him. In fact, he was a vital member of the kingdom, as he would often fix the villagers' machinery and equipment, and was the best in the Kingdom. "I can pay ya, too. I'm no freeloader." Sonic would then reach in his quills, and give him a pair of wings, much to the surprise of Rotor.

"O-Oh. This isn't necessary. But...if it's what you wish." Rotor said. He would have to start on fixing the plane, to make sure Tails can fly off back home safely.

Tails watched, impressed. "Thanks. I'm not used to someone doing that. Normally, the villagers are kinda scared of me, because of the whole...twin-tailed thing." The young boy would say, rubbing his arm a little nervously. "Well, this isn't my island or town anyways..."

"Don't sweat it, kiddo. Get your plane fixed and head on home. I'm sure your mom's all kinds of worried, right?" Sonic gave him a friendly punch on the shoulder, a grin on his face.

"Thank you so much, Sonic!" His gratitude rang true. After he leavess, he would not forget what Sonic did for him.

While that was happening, Amy would arrive to the changing room and would notice the maids of the Kingdom putting the finishing touches on her red dress, the damage it took from the battle being reversed. Amy was excited to have her old outfit back, as it was one of her favorites. The pink hedgehog would grab her repaired dress, and walk out, happy. As she did, she saw Queen Alicia walking towards her direction, a smile on her face. She would notice the hedgehog, and greet her, waving. "Well, I believe you should be heading home, right?"

"Right. But um, Your Highness. You daughter asked me to hang out with her some time. I'm not sure if I'll ever get that chance again." Amy answered. "I mean, I'm not royalty or anything."

"Hm. Well, Sally doesn't exactly have many friends to hang out with. In fact, I don't believe she's had a friend in years. Not since she was a child. It would be nice to have someone around that could keep her company. And, well, to tell you the truth, it would be a blessing for you to spend time with her, and to stay here. It's been a while since Sally's had any visitors." She said, smiling at Amy.

"Really? You think she'd want that? I'd love to hang out with her. It'd be great, and fun. But uh, what do I do in the meantime? If she's hanging out, that means, that's not princess work. Unless her idea of fun is boring, which, yeah." The girl shrugged her shoulders. The Queen simply laughed and shook her head, before speaking once more.

"I'm sure the two of you will think of something. You are always welcome here, Amy. Take good care of yourself." With that, the Queen would leave the area. She would return to her duties. As for Amy, she was about to leave here and head all the way back to her respective home.

As for Sonic, he was about to set out as well. For him, he would just keep running and see all the sights possible, no matter how far it may be. He loves the thrill of adventure after all. Tails had gotten his plane repaired by Rotor, the damages it sustained being no more. He would soon hop inside of his vehicle and take to the air, ready to fly on back to the island.

"It's good to go." Rotor would say. "You can take the wing to make a few modifications to your plane. See if that makes things easier on you. Should help you." The walrus said to Tails. The fox was excited at that prospect. He was going to use that to his advantage. He was definitely looking forward to testing the modifications on his new and improved Tornado.

"Thanks! See you later!" He would hop on the plane and flew away, heading to the east. "Take care, Sonic! I'll remember that favor!" The blue blur grinned, giving the little fox a wave as the biplane flew off into the horizon, leaving a trail of smoke in its wake.

"Sure will! Stay safe, kiddo!" The hedgehog waved at him. As the young pilot flew off to his home, the speedster was left alone. Now, he was ready to explore the world, and head out to a place called Spring Yard City.

"Hey, Sonic. Could you maybe get me home?" Amy walkd over to Sonic while he was stretching and gearing up to take off and continue his adventure. He looked at her and raised his brow in curiosity, a smirk on his face. "Your home?"

"Mhm. My home's is Starpath Town. It's just near Soleanna, so it shouldn't be that far." The pink hedgehog smiled. "Please, could you get me there?"

"Hm." The hedgehog rubbed his chin. He thought to himself. Why not, he decided. After all, she did save him and helped him defeat Robotnik. So why not? He would carry her in his arms again. He loved to run, and having someone along for the ride is an extra bonus for him. He wanted to experience that again, and the more people he can do that with, the better. "Yeah. Hop on. Gonna hold ya like a sack of potatoes though, and go fast, so try not to throw up!"

"No problem!" She hugged his side tightly, and the blue hero would lift her up and begin to dash off, speeding through the forest at an incredible speed, heading in the direction of her hometown. This would make for quite the thrilling journey. "WOO-HOOO!"

The two hedgehogs would be dashing through the forest, with Sonic holding onto the pink female. They were moving incredibly quickly. She couldn't help but laugh in excitement. She had never gone this fast before, and the wind blowing in her face felt amazing, the trees passing by in a flash. Her eyes were closed shut due to the immense speeds, her face contorted into one of pure joy and glee, her hands gripping his fur tightly. She didn't want to fall out or lose grip. Even though she knew Sonic wouldn't let her slip and drop.

"SO MUCH FUN! SO COOL!" She would yell in his ear. Her heart was racing and her body tingling from the rush. She was having the time of her life, feeling alive and free, enjoying herself in ways that she's never done before. The sheer joy of the moment was enough to make her feel completely invincible.

"Same, Amy, same." He replied. Sonic would then leap and spin, the sound of air whistling around his body as he spun, the air swirling in his wake, making a loud, shrill sound, almost like a whistle. Sonic and Amy would leap and jump over rocks and boulders and fallen tree branches and logs. Their bodies would soar and move gracefully, like dancers. Sonic was using his abilities, his quick reflexes and athletic prowess to the utmost extent. It was like nothing Amy had ever seen before. The sight was beautiful, mesmerizing. She could watch it for hours on end. She was amazed that a hedgehog could do something that was so incredible.

News of what had happened in Soleanna spread fast. It already reached the Acorn Kingdom the fastest, but the many parts of the world were now getting the news about the attack that had happened. The existence of Eggman was now made public to everyone else. And one location on this world got the news as well.

A place known as the United States. A continent that had a land of many diverse cultures and lifestyles. There were many places in this continent. From LasVegas, to Washington DC, to Wisconsin. Many cities, and states had existed on this world, and it was just a big of a hub, in its own right, as the other places of Mobius. Just like all the locations, the US was informed of the events of the Festival of the Sun. An incident involving the mysterious villain known as 'Doctor Eggman'.

And one family caught wind of this. One family in a rather massively luxurious mansion, located in a city known as Station Square.

This family had a name. The Thorndykes. They were among the richest families in the country. Their residence, the Thorndyke Mansion, was a massive mansion with multiple floors, rooms, and even had its own personal laboratory, that had the best in technology, the best in everything that money could buy, really.

Watching TV, a massive widescreen TV in his incredibly luxurious room was a young boy by the name of Chris. He was the heir to the family, the son of the wealthy parents that lived here, and was the youngest member of the family. He had a rather youthful face. He was wearing a red and white shirt and blue pants. His expression was rather somber. Not too much of a joyful kid, and that could easily be seen. But his mood wouldn't last long, not after a certain news broadcast appeared.

His ears perked. This news story intrigued him, and his eyes would widen at what the reporter was telling. "Good Day. We interrupt your regular scheduled program with a special report." The woman on the television, the newswoman on the screen spoke, and her voice would catch the boy's attention.

Chris' interest grew, and he turned his head to look at the television screen, where a female newscaster was sitting. She wore glasses and was reading a script. "Just yesterday, the city of Soleanna had a rather terrifying encounter, a massive explosion in the city, and a large, flying aircraft of sorts, in the shape of a whale, caused panic to ensue, the entire festival of the sun was interrupted. A mysterious doctor of science known only by his moniker, Dr. Eggman, has been the source of this disaster."

"Eggman, the man behind the attack, had attempted to abduct Princess Elise, and steal a mystical artifact known only as the Chaos Emerald. By extension, with Princess Sally of the Acorn Kingdom there, he intended to use her as a hostage as well." Chris' jaw dropped, and he stared at the TV with wide eyes.

"Fortunately, the day had ended on a much, much better note, when a strange hero stepped in and fought off the forces of Eggman. His army was destroyed and he fled, and the princess of the Acorn Kingdom was rescued, along with the Emerald." Chris's eye would light up at hearing of a hero, his interest peaking at the word.

On the screen, he saw him.

Sonic.

Chris and a majority of the humans were already aware of the Mobians and all of Mobius, their history going way back. However, they weren't that much in contact, save for how Sally and Elise met each other. Chris, on the other hand, has always dreamt of meeting some of them or even visiting Mobius at some point in time.

Everything about the mobians was fascinating to him. But now, something really caught his attention. A Mobian Hero. Not just that, but one who was incredibly fast. Chris watched the recording of Sonic zooming across the area, the camera struggling to keep up, his feet barely even touching slowing down. In the video, he would see a pink female Hedgehog, an anthropomorphic, humanoid Hedgehog, much like him, holding the Chaos Emerald and keeping it safe.

Even though she wasn't trying to be a hero, she did well in keeping it from Eggman's hands back there, earning her some recognition, even if briefly.

"Wow..." Chris could hardly speak, the sight of Sonic, saving the day and taking on so many robots. Being such a courageous hero. All of it was an inspiration to the child. It made his eyes sparkle. If he were to meet him...If Chris were to have a chance to actually meet that hero...

Nightfall had hit some parts of the world, as the day was ending, the sun had started to go down. As that happened, in the distance, in the skies of Mobis, a lone, bald scientist in the shape of an egg was looking out the window. Looking outside of the cockpit of a flying ship, the same ship from earlier, the Whale Shark, was the evil Doctor Eggman.

Now that it was nightfall, things would be much quieter and less cluttered for the doctor.

"That meddling hedgehog...stopping me twice is absurd." He said to himself, the massive ship currently heading towards one location. "But I'll show him one day. Yes, I will..Aside from that, the time is ripe."

Eggman was about to do what he said he would do much earlier. To make an example of who he was and what he aimed to do, he would target the Acorn Kingdom. Naturally, it had its own Chaos Emerald that he also wanted. And speaking of which, that was where his ship was headed this entire time.

In the distance was the kingdom itself, and he would have a nice surprise in store.

But since it was nightfall, Eggman wanted it to be a true surprise attack. Even bigger than what happened at Soleanna. So he had the lights on his ship disabled. He would be in stealth mode, the sky was dark, and it would allow his vessel to remain hidden in the blackness.

At the same time, the two Chaos Emeralds, the one the Kingdom already had which as a Blue one, and the one that Amy passed over, the green one, were being ready to tbe taken to the Special Zone for safekeeping.

Now that Eggman's existence was made aware and his intentions clear, the King could not risk letting them be taken and used by him.

However, the transport that was about to start carrying them them, a luxurious chariot of sorts with a couple of horses and some guards and a driver was halted. Suddenly, a large shadow was cast over them. Everyone in the transport looked up and their eyes widened. There, looming above was a gigantic battleship, hovering in mid-air, and a spotlight was suddenly cast down on them. It illuminated the transport and its inhabitants, leaving no shadows or darkness to hide from its bright glow.

The spotlight was coming from none other than the Whale Shark, the very same ship that attacked the City of Soleanna, the ones responsible were the exact same person, the one that had his eyes set on those emeralds.

And now, the Acorn Kingdom would be invaded.
