OK, we are now in chapter 5 of the Pender Wicks of Sail rewritten and I'm working on this slowly but I think it's a great story. This is the part of the story where Jane has to go off with the apology letter letter, but apology speech but I'm gonna change it up a little, now that there are both parents in the picture I wanna have Mrs. Pender go with her with Jane to help her carry out the mission my Rosalyn helps still be canon so that Rosalind and sky bake the cookies. Well, Jane seeded in her mission.

What kind of trouble do you think Jane will get into? You have to read this chapter and find out if and will succeed to you also have to read as well.

This is a Sky and Jane chapter with a little bit of her mother and father, with their mother and father little in the mix and a little bit of Rosalind.

Also reading the review, I want to know what you think of this new take on the Pender Wick A Summer Tail tells two rabbits four sisters, and one interesting boy.

Jane and speeches

Jane was walking. Her mother was with her. They were walking to Erindale Hall, the mansion she was walking around and around they were walking around and around the beautiful caught the beautiful mansion, trying to figure out which door they should go to. Enter.

At last night's snoops, the only person that they were allowed to tell this to was their mother and their father. I guess they told them both Maddie was the only one who didn't know anything about this at all.

Around and around the mansion, they went looking door after door there was only one door that did not allow them to go to the big one in the front because Mrs. Tipton would be more likely to be behind it but that left so many other doors if they could find the most looking door though maybe she wouldn't be more likely to be behind it even if they did, Jane was with her mother, her mother wouldn't let Mrs. Tifton hurt her.

We can one of her speeches. When do you think of this mom? She said Elizabeth said humming. In one of the speeches that I was given to say to Mrs. Tifton and then Jeffrey when I met him, Jane said.

She began good morning Mrs. Tifton. I am Jane Pinder, daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Pinder please Can I speak with Jeffrey?

That sounds good Mrs. Pinder said.

I think that'll be a great speech.

I think so too said Jane it's simple is the other one I have a harder time with Mom Jane said again how so she asked is the Jeffrey speech I have the hardest time with what she said again.

You don't need to worry about him not liking you, daughter you're likable Jane Sky just doesn't see it that way. She's just that way. Her mother said she walked with her.

Good morning Jeffrey I am Jane Pinder with sister of Sky Pinder who you met yesterday you're not anything also her elected spokesperson because she cannot come to you so I want to what was it she thought I couldn't forget now.

Skye wanted me to let you know if you'd want to come back to eat cookies with us homemade chocolate chip cookies as an apology for running into her yesterday that's it her mother said encouraging her that's good Jane.

Jane smiles at her mother.

Then she remembered she forgot something in the one for Mrs. Tifton so she began that speech again good morning Mrs. Tifton. I am Jane Pendik, daughter of Elizabeth and Martin Pinder Wick renting an Erindale cottage. May I please speak with Jeffrey?

There you go her mother encouraged thanks, Mom.

They finally found the door, but they were looking for it, and Jane did the knocking her mother didn't want her to have to knock. She needed to be genuine Jane knocked at the door herself and faced Tiffen herself.

Sabrina STAR server surveys the scene, says Jane.

Coming a voice said a woman answered the door before she began her speech. She looked at the woman she was beginning to say good morning Mrs. Tifton. I am Jane Pinder daughter of Erindale. What? No great now I screwed up..

Your mother encouragingly squeezed her hand. It's OK Jane Jane smiled at her mother.

And then she looked at the woman in front of her. No one this can't be Mrs. Tifton. No one in their right mind would call this woman snooty comfortable as what they would call her. But then she looked too old to have a daughter. Her son is as young as Jeffrey let her on a daughter, her age or even skies age grandmotherly she described her so her mother Elizabeth looked at her as well.

Her mother reached out her hand first and shook it. Hello hello, the woman said who are you? I am Mrs. Churchill the caretaker here at Erindale Hall but people call me churchy she says oh nice to meet you. I'm Elizabeth Pinder, mother of Jane Pinder and Sky Pinder and the others, oh yes from the cottage Cagney said that you all arrived a professor and a lot of women said girls. I should say well and hound and hound to the dog that we're keeping secret. Jane said she doesn't like dogs let's just say church she said that hound isn't the type of dog that Mrs. Tifton likes.

Then both the girl and the woman asked Jeffrey how was your Bruce not so bad? He said she put ice on it when I got home.

Would you all like to come inside both? The mother and the daughter smelled whatever it was it smelled delicious and wonderful and sweet. We would love to but we have to get back to our cottage soon. Yes, of course, it's at church. Maybe next time.

Then Jean said I have a speech she said oh you could listen if you like oh that would be wonderful said churchy churchy.

And mom can relate to Elizabeth knotted her head yes daughter I will listen again she says.

Then she began good morning Jeffrey I am Jane Pinder spokesperson for Sky Pinder who you met yesterday sky wants me to apologize on her behalf for bumping into you in the tunnel head yesterday and wants to ask if you'd like to come back to the cottage for homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Oh, my great speech churchy said as she clapped her hands yes good job Jane. Her mother said Jane smiled. Thanks, Mom. Yes, I'll come back with you. Jeffrey said That sounds great

Course Sky thought you would need more convincing so she added more things I could say like how it's not her fault that she does things and she's nice most of the time that's enough. He says Jane felt happy she did it. She had the enemy. I'm bringing them back to the Pender Wick camp.

Rosin was showing Sky how to bait the cookies as Mother showed them Wyatt's mother was here to help because she's with Jane to give Jane moral support added Rosalind. Why didn't you just go and let Mom help me cook and bake she knows more about this thing than I and you remember what Mommy told us about the chocolate chips and baking of the cookies. The only thing I remember is her singing a song about the chocolate chips going to chocolate chip heaven commented Sky,

Then there was a honking outside oh, what's going on Rosalyn asked oh that same day yesterday I told Cagney that he could bring his rosebush here and replant it here. He might need some help. What about rabbits? Oh, she loves. Rabbits said Rosalind.

Cagney says he has two rabbits Roslyn to Tabby her ears after playing with the hound for a moment and she walked over. She stayed visible long enough to hear him bring her by some time I will and if I don't, her mother will nod more likely be her mother you took her more than you Rosalind because I don't think you're responsible, but you should give her instructions. Don't leave the door open and things like that, but I'll give you another thing like that later all right then.

Sky was getting upset because Roslyn said she'd be back in a few minutes, but she didn't come back anytime soon. She was still out there with Cagney. Well, she finished up the cookies put them on the cookie sheet, and then turned on the broiler. She didn't know anything between a boiler or a boiler or whatever I'm a rolling pen.

And then she went upstairs she took out her math book. She was teaching herself, algebra for fun and found her favorite problem about trains going in different directions.

To finally solve it on and on, she went solving problem after problem not noticing what was going on downstairs.

Not until he heard how barking danger, danger, danger that she come downstairs and lived and looked up from her math book.

And then, even then she didn't know what was going on around her because the whole kitchen was in a mess

Kathy came in with the water hose and put out the fire. Roslyn was pulling out too smoldering, hot cookie sheets, and burnt cookies were on them. Luckily they didn't explode.

Then Skye looked out the window at the front door, the screen porch door, and saw her sister Jane, her mother Elizabeth, and Jeffrey, and then again he was so pale sky count his freckles.

Then their father came in he said to pay for his studying and he said oh good job Cagney great job with the hose.

Thank you he said thank you Mr. Pinder Mrs. Pinder hello Cagney she said like my husband said great job with the hose. I'll take it from here. I'll re-bake the cookies she said.

Before that, I needed to clean everything she said as she cleaned the oven and reset it, I made a new batch of cookies.

Yes, we'll have a new batch of cookies. Jeffrey said that would be great Mrs. Pinder. You can just call me Elizabeth and my husband Martin. She says Jeffrey knotted all right then.

And that sky warning is sky, blue sky, blue blue blue eyes blue sky she says opening her eyes wide demonstrating for Jeffrey. I'm sorry I was such a well mean to you and your mother. I didn't know who she was and it's OK. Jeffrey said this is my real apology because Jane and my mother screwed that up and Rosalind two it's OK. Jeffrey says it's fine.

It's it's OK and we might need to get out of the kitchen for a bit. That sounds like a good idea.

Elizabeth commented why don't you younger ones get out for a bit and go for a walk Rosalind and I air out the kitchen.

And maybe we'll have another batch of cookies later everyone nodded. Maybe we'll come back for lunch and have cookies after lunch. That sounds good sounds great.

As the younger ones left to go for their walk to clear their heads later, Roslyn told her mother that Cagney was inviting her and Maddie or all three of them to come to Cagney's carriage house to see the rabbits Cagney has rabbits Rosalyn yes and she wants to take back she wants to take batty he wants us to bring Betty to see them like that. Sounds like a good idea and a lot of fun.

And it's nice of Cagney to invite us the three of us you and me and Maddie to come see the rabbits soon. Oh yes, wouldn't it be great?

That sounds like fun. Her mother said that be a good idea Rosie and it'd be good for Betty too.

All right well let Cagney know. Yay, all right we'll get that together Rosalind.

They had a plan to go see the rabbits not too far from this time.

I'm hitting chapter here. I hope you enjoyed this one. I made it a little longer than the original chapter this from the original book. I don't know when the top walk take a walk thing happened and I don't know which chapter it was in. But I'll probably put it in a fresh chapter in the next one whatever chapter 6 was I can't remember exactly what it was. It'll come to me eventually, but that's OK. I hope you enjoy chapter 5 as well even with the added stuff that I have added.

especially since this is a rewritten version of the story, I had to add some things of interactions with her mother with Roslyn and her mother talking about going to see the rabbits all right then I'll see you in the next chapter which will be chapter 6. I'll see you then.
