A/N: Sorry about the late update, got some writers block on dialogue, and needed time to think of what to change/add.
Chapter XXXVII.
Last Time.
Naruto, Robin, Franky, and Luffy.
"Damn, where are the others?" Naruto asked as they walked down the hall with Kitchi, and Tate following him as Luffy walked up in golden armour. They came up to a medevil arena, where Franky was attacked by a knight with spears. Naruto was about to help him, but was forced to dodge another attack from a rusty scythe. "Who the hell are you?" He asked the blonde-haired Zombie in jail clothes. "I'll be your opponent. Got it memorized?"
Naruto's eye's widened before he started attacking the zombie with the other's. Soon too many came in, and He, Franky, Robin, Kitchi, and Tate ran outside to a bridge. "Hey get me out of here!" They heard Luffy's voice yell out of a tied up coffin above them. As they followed it to another room, they were blocked by a giant monkey, and spider combination zombie.
He has the head and hands of a monkey, and body of a spider. His spider body is black and yellow striped. He has bandages wrapped around his hands, and wearing what seemed to be an aviator hat, with one goggle covering his left eye. Part of the hat is black, and His right eyes has shadows around it, and he's missing one of his teeth. Bandages wrapped around the middle of his torso, complete with a monkeys tail.
"What the hell are you going to do with him?" Naruto asked as the spider smirked. "No worries. . You'll share the same fate." He said as the zombies closed in on them.
Now.
Nojiko, Nami, Usopp, and Chopper.
Nami, Nojiko, Usopp, and Chopper after being chased outside by animale zombies, watched the dog-faced penguin attack the other animal zombies with a series of kicks. "I'll teach anyone who harms a lady some table manners.. You shitty zombies." The others eyes widened at that. "That's how Sanji talks." Nami said as Nojiko nodded.
"Yeah.. Could it be him? A devil fruit from someone here maybe?" She asked as Usopp, and Chopper yelled over at the penguin. "Hey! What do you know about Sanji?!" The penguin turned around, and started kicking Usopp, and Chopper. "Shut up you shitty pirates." After falling, they looked at the penguin in shock. "We're still enemys?!" They asked/yelled before hearing an explosion.
Turning to the forest, they saw a pink warthog zombie wearing a wedding dress being chased by a man with a lions muzzle on his face. "Wait, Lola!" Absalom yelled before Lola turned around, and tried to kiss him several times. "Quit it Lola!" He kicked her over to the others, having her kick up dust as she landed. "Finally found you." Lola said with glowing eyes, and holding an ax.
"The 'Cat Burglar'." She pulled an ax as Nojiko pulled her knives' out. Lola swung her ax, and the penguin kicked it, having it break. "You won't harm the women.." The penguin said but stopped as it looked at Lola. Lola punched the penguin, and had him flew in to a stone pillar. The penguin shakily stood up. "E.. Even if it cost me my life. I won't harm a lady." He said as Chopper, and Usopp started clapping.
"Well done, to know that is a woman at first glance." Lola started yelling at them before they heard Nami scream. Turning around, they saw Nami floating away with small dirt clouds forming under her. "Nami can fly?" Chopper asked before Nojiko took off after her sister. "No that must be the man who attacked us in the washroom!" She exclaimed before seeing Absalom re-appeared under Nami, Right before being shocked by her. Nami let out a sigh of relief as the others came up, and left with her with Lola following.
Naruto, Robin, and Franky.
The trio was looking at the spider-monkey hybrid as the zombies walked up to them from behind. "I'm guess that everyone's been kidnapped by Moria right?" Naruto asked as the monkey looked to them. "Monkey, Monkey.. That's right." He replied turning his head right to left. "And that web that caught the Sunny is your doing?" Franky asked as the spider nodded.
"You all were aiming at, and watching for as since the beginning." The spider laughed. "That's right! Don't underestimate our information network." He explained with a laugh. "All of your actions were reported by Perona-samas Ghost Network." Naruto glanced back behind them before looking to Franky, who nodded. Naruto picked up Tate, and Kitchi putting them in his coat as Robin spoke up. "And with those big ears, you probally can hear real well." The spider looked at her for a moment.
He puts his left hand to his ear. "Huh, What? What did you say?" Naruto deadpanned at him. "You're kidding right?" They turned back to see the zombies walking up to them. "Robin-chan, Do you trust me?" Naruto asked as Robin nodded. He lifts his fist as Franky holds a pipe in his hands, and aims down. "Kū do Van (Wind Blow)." Naruto slams his fist down cracking the entire bridge.
"100-Pāsento Shingurupanchi (One Hundred Percent Single Punch)." The bridge fell down as Naruto, Robin, and Franky stood in the middle before jumping in the air. Naruto threw the weight end of his Kusarigama around one of the pillars, and turned around to catch Robin. Only to see her create arms on her back in the shape of wings. "Cien Fleur (Hundred Flower)." She started flapping her 'wings', and flew up.
"Uingu (Wing)." She caught Franky, and they continued to fly. Franky shot his right arm over, and grabbed the ledge, just as Robin jumped off him, and on to the top part of the bridge. "Well.. That was new Robin-chan." Naruto said putting his Kusarigama back in his backpack. Franky finally climbed up, and stared at Robin. "Why did you use me as a step?" Kitchi, and Tate jumped down, and looked at Franky for a moment before walking back behind Naruto.
He gained a tic mark as Naruto, and Robin ignored him while looking down. Looking down himself, he saw the spider get up, and yell up at them. They suddenly Heard something above them. They looked up, and saw Brook falling down. "Just-dead!" Brook yelled coming down fast. He hits the ground causing a big dirt cloud to form. "Bone!"
Nami, Nojiko, Chopper, and Usopp.
Nami was running from Lola, who was waving swords at her, as Chopper, and Usopp attacked her. "Nami!" Looking to her left, she saw Nojiko running up to her as Lola threw Chopper, and Usopp off. Nami tripped over a root just as Lola swung her swords down at her. "Wait! I'm actually a man!" Nami yelled out as Nojiko blocked Lolas attack.
Everyone looked on in shock/surprise as Nami convinced Lola she was a man, and talked to her about getting Absalom as a husband. "So Nami's a guy?" Chopper asked as Nojiko sighed. "No, no she's not. She's just saying that to keep Lola from attacking her." She whispered before they heard a twig snap. Looking over, they saw Absalom's hat above some bushs.
"Crap Nami he's here." Looking Back, Nami whispered something to Lola, who took off after Absalom. "Lets go." Nojiko said as they ran. "Well.. That was smart Nami." Nojiko said as Nami turn back with berry signs in her eyes. "I've found the treasure." Nojiko suddenly realized something. "Naruto-kun told me the Sunny got caught in a big web, And if there's a Shichibukai (Seven Warlords) here he could take our berries, and everything from our ship."
"Crap you're right.. Then we'll just wait to see if they bring anymore, since it just happened recently." Usopp said as they continued running.
The Sunny.
A bunch of Zombies was taking bags out of the Sunny as a girl with big round eyes watched. She's holding an umbrella shaped somewhat like a cute version of a mini devil. Her hair is light pink colored and very long. Her feet are pointing inwards in a 'pigeon-toed' manner. black, white and bright red. Her hair is tied in two high pigtails with somewhat flower-shaped black and white hairpins, and she's wearing a red crown with a cross on top.
Shes wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with pink frills at the ends. Her black stripped tights cover her entire legs and she's wearing a red a mini-skirt and buckled boots to match. She is wearing red lipstick and a thick layer of eyeliner. "Is this the ship of the men that defeated Crocodile, and his partner? There's no chests here." The girl said before hearing someone shout her name.
"Perona-sama!" She looked up, and saw Hildon flying down. "Moria-sama's called for the Mysterious Three." Perona raised an eye-brow. "What why?" She asked as Hildon explained. "He's caught 'Straw Hat' Luffy. And he's showing the '900th' model." Peronoas eyes widened at that. "The '900th? Really?" She asked before taking off.
Later, she saw Absalom talking to a stuffed bear zombie sewn together using different cloth patches, wearing an outsize bon-bon cap, and a surgical mask over his mouth. . His body's is made of white, light blue and orange cloth and he's wearing bandages over his lower body, legs and arms. On his back is a zipper. "Absalom, What are you doing in my room?"
Absalom looked to Perona as she walked in. "Welcome back Perona.." The bear said but was interrupted by Perona. "Shut up Bearsy!" She walked up as Absalom sighed watching her argue with Bearsy. "You're harsh on Bearsy as always." Perona looked to him. "Shut up, he's my subordinate." She went on to explain that Moria called a meeting as Bearsy reach for his zipper but couldn't grab it.
Suddenly it unzipped a little show part of Usopps face, and he started whispering to the others. "Absalom-sama!" Turning around, Absalom saw Hildon flying up. "Ther was one more who came with the Straw Hats." Absalom raised an eyeborw. "One more?" He asked as Hildon nodded. "Yes.. The 'Hummer'."
Naruto, Robin, and Franky.
"How is that possible? He's only bones." Naruto commented seeing the Brook-shaped hole in the ground. Suddenly webs came up in every direction, and the spider came up. "No use.. I can make a path anywhere." He said as Franky pulled the cylinder from his back, opened it, and pulled metal nun-chucks out. "Can you buy me some time?" He asked before walking inside with Tate, and Kitchi running in just behind the door.
"Spider Nettori Net. (Sticky Spider Net.)" The Spider shot a stream of web out of his hands. "A web hand cannon?" Robin thought crossing her arms, as Naruto raised his knives' up. "Seis Fluer." Six arms sprouted un the spiders eye. "Surappu. (Six Flowers Slap.)" The spider grabbed his eyes, and shot webbing on his face. "Alright Robin I'm ready."
Naruto, and Robin urned around, and saw Franky with his nun-chucks in a large stone pillar. "To fight these big monsters, we need big weapons." He swung at the spider hitting him in the face. "Hebī Nunchaku. (Heavy Nunchuck.)" Franky attacked him several times before the spider shot the nunchucks out of his hands. "Ha! with out your wea.. " He stopped as Franky raised his left arm, and opened it.
"Weponzu Refuto. (Weapons Left.)" He shot the spider in the face bfore hearing a scream. Turning around, he saw Naruto, and Robin caught in a web surrounded by spider-mice hybrids. He tried running but was shot with a web by the spider who explained the 'Spider Mice'. Suddenly, they heard some one sing. "Yohohoho, yohohoho." Everyone looked around trying to see who's singing.
"Going to deliver Binks' sake.. Following the sea breeze riding on the waves." Everyone still didn't see anything. "Far across the salty deeps, the merry evening sun.. Painting circles in the sky as the birds sing." The mice looked around nervously. "Yohohoho, yohohoho." Suddenly, Brook with a sword resting on his shoulder walked up.
"As expected.. You all came on the island." He said stopping in front of Robin. "How did you get up here?" She asked as Brook looked around. "I jumped, I'm very light." Naruto deadpanned at that answer. "Not very if you leave a hole in the ground." Ignoring him, Brook continued. "well I guess if you guys came, it can't be helped..." He continued looking back at the spider who started yelling at him.
"I'll have to tell you the truth about this island.. Don't worry.. The match is already over." He brought the sheath up, and puts the sword away having a light sine across his face. "Hanauta Sanchō: Yahazu Giri. (Three-Verse Humming: Arrow-Notch Slash.)" A line came over the body of the spider spraying blood over him. "Hey he's a zombie, he'll just get up." Franky said as the spider looked at Brook.
"You're the..." He stopped looking up opening his mouth. Suddenly a black substance came out of his mouth, and up in the air. "Back to your original master." The spider fell back down, his eye rolled back in to his head. "Captain Turaram. " The mice yelled before looking at Brook. "He's the 'Hummer' from five years ago.. Lets go tell the master!" They scrambled back leaving the others alone.
Brook looked down at Franky. "The webs are weak against Fire." Franky looked down, and blew a small stream of fire, and melted the webbing. Later after getting everyone free, they looked to Brook. "So.. Straw Hat, and the others have been caught, you seem to know a bit about this island right?" Franky asked as Brook nodded. "Yes.. But if they've been captured... It may already be too late."
The others eyes widened at that. "What do you mean too late?!" Franky yelled causing Brook to wave his hands frantically. "Please don't yell at me like that! I'll get confused!" He yelled putting his hands over his face, and turned around. "Although as a skeleton, I have no face.. SKULL JOKE! Yohohoho." Turning around, brook went on to explain about coming to Thriller Bark five years ago, and Gekko Moria stealing shadows with his Kage Kage no Mi. (Shadow Shadow Fruit).
"That's why Moria chases people with bounties." Brook finished as Naruto rubbed his chin. "I didn't know that.. I thought he just brought people back to life, not steal the fighting styles of others." He commented before Robin spoke up. "I imagine that strong shadows would be harder for them to obey." Brook nodded before explaining. "Yes he doesn't want a shadow stronger than he is. He'll toss those people out in the ocean."
"Then the others are in danger!" Franky exclaimed as Brook lifted his hand, stopping him. "We still have time.. I know the best ways around the island, so please believe in me, and do what I say." Franky stared at him for a moment before speaking up. "What Believe in you?!" He asked before Brook suddenly jumped back. "Aaah! SKULL SHOCK!"
He started spinning on one leg. "It's been so long since I had a conversation I'm so happy!" He started singing a little as Robin crossed her arms, and her hair shadowed her eyes. Naruto, who was standing beside her, took a step back as she evenly spoke up. "If we're going to follow you.. Then get going." Brook stopped suddenly, and nodded.
Morias Room.
Luffy tied up in a cage was watching Moria who stood to his right side. "What are you? So big." Luffy said as he stared at Moria with three small zombies yelling at him for speaking that way to Moria. "So you're 'Straw Hat' Luffy?" Moria asked grinning before walking in front of him, and sat down. "Good to see your vigor. Kishishishi" He finished with a laugh.
"You're the idiotic Moria?" Luffy asked causing Moria to laugh againg. Good to see you have the guts to say that." Moria replied before continuing. "As expected from a three hundred million berry bounty. You'll make a great subordinate of mine." Luffy just stared a him for a moment. "Subordinate? Who the hell do you think you are?" Luffy asked trying to break free from the cage.
"Who am I? Kishishishi.. I'm the future Pirate King." He finished as the moon light came through the curtains showing his face as Luffy glared at him, Suddenly Kakuzu, and Hidan walked in. "Well welcome back.. Did you get any bounties?" Kakuzu nodded. "Yes.. We would have been here sooner but Hidan kept attracting attention from other pirates, and Marines." He replied as Hidan yelled at him.
The three small zombies ran in. "Moria-sama! The Mysterious Three are here!" Moria nodded before speaking up. "Very well, let them in." Perona, Absalom, and Hogback with Cindry walked in, and stood in front of him. "Your all here Kishishishi.. Hurry, and make me the Pirate King." The three nodded before Luffy yelled out. "What's all that Pirate King Talk?!"
They looked back to him as he continued. "The one who'll be Pirate King is... ME!" He continued to yell bout letting the others go. "We're really only interested in three of you." Moria replied holding Luffys, Zoros, and Sanjis posters. "'Pirate Hunter' Zoro, and the other one I sent for was for Blondie. The others are just icing on the cake. But I really don't want Naruto unless I have a really strong zombie" (1.)
He finished as Luffy looked on in thought as Perona, Ansalom, Cindry and Hogback started bickering. Moria, having enough yelled out. "ENOUGH! All this bickering is giving me a headache!" Taking a breath, he continued. "If the others ran, we'll catch them later." The others looked up to him. "I brought you here to witness our growing strength."
They suddenly heard a scream, turned around, and saw Luffy crawling towards the door. "Moria-sama, he ate the cage!" Looking to the cage, Moria saw the front broken with teeth marks. "I got him." Perona said before sending ghosys at Luffy. Whe they hit him Luffy stopped with an aura of depression surrounding him. Later, after removing Luffys armour, they tied Luffy up, and turned on a spotlight on behind him.
"LET ME GO!" Ignoring him, Moria reached down to Luffys shadow, and started pulling it off the floor. He pulled out big scissors, and cuts the shadow off leaving Luffy unconscious. "Finally! a three hundred million fighting power!" He exclaimed holding Luffys shadow high.
Meanwhile, Nami, and the others glanced from behind Bearsy. "It's like what Brook told us about.. That must be the person who took his shadow." Nojiko commented before Perona glanced back, causing them to go back inside Bearsy. "This will put me one step closer to becoming Pirate King Hogback." Moria said to Hogback who nodded.
"Yes I've served you for ten years for the day that # 900 will be made." Hogback replied with a laugh. A spider mouse came up, and whispered in to Absaloms ear. "What Taram was defeated?" After teling him it was Brook, Absalom turned to Moria. "Moria-sama, the 'Hummer' is back. "I've got better things to worry about.. You take care of it." Moria walked to a big metal door with the number '900' on it, opened it, and walked inside as the others followed.
When they got to the end, they saw an extremely large, skull faced zombie who is more than four times the size of an average giant. He has long yellow hair that flows from his head to his back and has two large horns. His upper jaw consists mostly of straight-edged molars while his lower jaw consists of several sharp fangs and two large tusks, and his left arm has "SZ-900" tattooed on it.
Like other zombies, he is completely stitched up. In the middle of his stomach in particular is a blue cloth stitched across it. Apart from the various bandages covering his limbs, He's only wearing a large black loin cloth. It consists of three gigantic skulls strapped on to a rope holding it up and a large cross pattern in front. "After five hundred years, it's time to awake Oars."
Nami, and the others glanced out to see Moria talk to Luffys shadow before putting him in Oars. After a moment, Oars started moving, sat up, and yelled. "MMMEEEAATTT!" The air from his yell pushed everyone but Moria back, and pust Nami, and the others out of Bearsy. Absalom, and Perona walked over only for Oars to yell out again. "SANJI BRING FOOD!" Oars looked confuded for a moment.
"Who the hell is Sanji?" He asked as Absalom looked to the door not seeing Nami or the others. "They're gone?!"
Outside With Nami, Nojiko, Chopper, and Usopp.
"That hast to be the power of a devil fruit." Usopp said as they ran down the hall. "That must be the guy who took Brooks shadow." He finished coming up to the stairs. Suddenly, a force pushed Chopper, and Usopp who fell on Nojiko down the stairs. "Nojiko, guys!" Nami yelled before feeling someone grab her. Absalom phased in as Nami struggled against him. The others got up, and stared at him.
"Let her go!" Nojiko yelled pulling out her guns, and tried to fire, only for Absalom to push his hand forward, and push her down. Absalom, and Nami disappeared having the others to look around. "Zombies attack, and take them to Moria-sama." Absalom yelled out before zombies came from all around, and attack. "Damn it! Theres no end to them!"
Nojiko shot a couple of zombies as Usopp, and Chopper was surrounded by a group of zombies. "Need help?" Turning around, Nojiko saw Naruto, Robin, and Franky attack zombies, and throw salt in their mouths, having a black substance come out, and float away. "Naruto-kun!" Nojiko exclaimed running over as the last of the zombies were taken care of.
Nojiko told Naruto what happened with Nami, and Moria. "Damn, well the good news is everyone needs to be alive for Moria to use the zombies, and we'll need to focus on getting Nami-chan back." Naruto finished looking at the downed zombies. "Well... Let's go." He finished as they started walking.

1. I was going to have Narutos shadow taken until Brook explained he doesn't want anyone's shadow as strong or stronger then him because he wouldn't control the shadow.
Ok sorry for the late update. I'll be doing an original arc after this one for the Marine who killed Narutos parents and if you have any ideas, or plot feel free to send them. And if you have any moves/devil fruits for Kakuzu, and Hidan again feel free to send them because I can't think of anything that's good.
