Chapter XLIX.

Last Time.

Naruto stared at the paper with their alliance, and another with Kid's, Basil's, and Scratchmen alliance. "Doflamingo really resigned? I don't buy it." Naruto said dropping the paper on the deck as the others read it. "Why did you keep me alive?" Naruto looked at Monet who spoke up before answering.

"I know you were ordered to die.. But.. What about your sister? Would she truly be happy with that?" Monet looked down at that and kept quiet as Naruto turned his attention to the others. He sweatdropped as Law brought out his Den-Den Mushi, and talked to Doflamingo, and Luffy yelling at him.

Naruto tuned out Law who explained they're just using Caesar to lure Doflamingo out, and where they would dock. He stood up as they all went to eat leaving a flabbergasted Law who was in the middle of forming a plan for them. As they ate, Kin'emon explained that he's headed for Zou after rescuing his friend. "Zou?" Law asked making Kin'emon nod.

"I was heading there after we finish in Dressrosa. My Crew is there already." Kin'emon nodded before explained how how friend was captured after their ship wrecked in Dressrosa while sailing to Zou, and Doflamingo found them. And that Momonosuke ran on an SAD ship to hide, and was taken to Punk Hazard, and his friend Kanjuro was caught as they tried to follow the ship in a boat.

Dressrosa.

Doflamingo held a round orange fruit, composed of many flame-shaped components with swirl patterns on each one, and has a swirled stem on the top. He looked to see several seats in the shadow with someone sitting on all but one. "Diamante.. I entrust this to you. I know Straw Hat will come for this! His brother's fruit!"

"The Mera Mera no Mi! (Flame Flame Fruit.)" Doflamingo finished with a laugh.

Later; S.H.C.

Naruto walked in the crow's nest and saw Robin who's leaning on the open window, eyes closed as the breeze hit her. He wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her neck having her lean back in his embrace. "I see an island!" She yelled out having everyone run out to see an island in the distance. Naruto narrowed his eyes as he looked at the island.

'I'm coming for you.' He thought tightening his grip on Robin as they sailed to the island.

Now.

Dressrosa.

"We're here! Dress Rosa!" Luffy yelled out as he jumped off of Sunny onto the shore. Thane, and Naruto who's wearing a plain black long sleeved hooded trench coat with a black face mask covering the bottom part of his face under a blue shirt, and black jeans walked over and looked at the fields before jumping down followed by Franky with long hair in braided pigtails.

Chopper jumped down as Nami wearing short shorts and a pink sleeveless shirt talked with Momonosuke who's in his dragon form. Naruto pulled the hood up as he walked to Law. "If we don't destroy the factory then the whole plan will fall apart." Law explain as Kitchi ran in the fields followed by Tate. Luffy ignored him to run to Nami.

He jumped on Momonosuke and tried to get him to fly. "But he doesn't have wings." Robin stated as Momonosuke and Luffy started fighting after Momonosuke refused to fly. "Those dragons don't use wings to fly Robin-chan." Naruto stated as Mai floated down on his back. She's wearing jeans with several small rips on them and a yellow shirt.

Law gave Nami a Vivre Card to his crew that's in Zou. "If anything happens go to Zou and meet my crew." Law said before bringing out a map of Dressrosa that his crew made to give them the layout. "Be careful Nami-chan." Naruto said as she, Emiko, Mai, Chopper, Olive, Momonosuke, Brook, and Sanji would stay on the Sunny to protect it and sail to Zou if need be.

Nami, and Mai kissed Naruto before he turned around. And was hugged by Olive. "Please don't leave!" Naruto blinked at that before speaking. "You're welcome to come along. Noji-chan is." She quickly shook her head at that. "Nope! I don't want to fight against a Shichibukai. (Warlord.)" Naruto shrugged before putting his hands in his pockets and following after Thane, Tate, Kitchi, Zoro, Luffy, Franky, Sanji, and Kin'emon into town.

"Sanji? Why are yo..." Thane trailed off seeing a large stuffed toy chase after a dog. He and Naruto looked at the large toys mingling with humans before hearing a voice. "Naruto." Naruto looked to see Jiraiya with Tsunade and Shizune at a cafe.

Shizune is wearing an all black kimono with a strap around her waist. The right side of her kimono is long sleeve and the other is sleeveless, showing the left sleeve of the mesh armour she is wearing underneath.

Tsunade's wearing her regular clothes only with a white long sleeved kimono style blouse instead of her grey one.

"Hey what are you guys doing here?" Naruto asked pulling his mask down as he and the others walked over. "Oh hey there Obasan. (Old Lady.)" Luffy greeted missing the tick mark on Tsunade's brow. "We're here for the tournament that's attracting Pirates to it from nearby Islands to help with arresting them." Jiraiya replied before leaning close to them.

"Also.. I've got a spy planted in Doflamingo's crew... And these toys... Are actually people from this town." Naruto's eyes widened at that. "What?" Naruto looked around at the toys before Jiraiya continued. "Yeah. And everyone who knew them before they were a toy forgets them.. Even if they saw the person get changed."

"That would explain why everyone isn't acting scared." Nojiko commented not seeing any fear in the eyes of the people that walked around. "If they were afraid.. I would see it in their eyes.. My friends in Cocyo village always had fear in their eyes whenever a tourist came in to supply and we hid the fact about Arlong."

"Shit that'll complicate things." Naruto commented gaining the attention of the others. "If one of us gets caught.. We would forget about them." Naruto rubbed his face as they talked to Jiraiya and the others. Later, Naruto sighed as the others minus Nojiko is wearing beards, or moustaches with sunglasses, and black suits to hide their identity.

Nojiko is wearing a black wig and a black thin long sleeved shirt to hide her tattoo. Naruto pulled his mask back up as Tate, and Kitchi wore shirts to hide their fur. Luffy ran down the street to a restaurant having the others follow.

Tap Tap.

Naruto, Thane, and Zoro stopped as they heard a tapping sound. Looking to their left, they saw a blind man walking down a set of stairs.

He has an X-shaped scar centered on the left side of his forehead that stretches over both eyes. He has short dark hair, a mustache, and a beard and is very tall. He's was wearing a light-purple yukata held up with a dark purple belt, all underneath a purple cloak.

He's holding a smooth stick acting as a cane, and also has geta sandals. He has white bandages wrapped around both of his forearms, with handguards on both hands.

Naruto raised his hand out of his pockets stopping both Zoro and Thane as they reached for their weapons. The man walked past them before speaking. "Pardon me." The trio looked at him before he spoke again. "I heard there's a casino around here. Do you know where it is?"

"No we don't. We just got here ourselves." Naruto repled putting his hand back in his pocket. "But there's is a restaurant to your left... They should know." The man nodded before walking towards the restaurant. "Arigato. (Thank you.)"

Later.

The S.H.C. ate their dinners and talked about a plan before Naruto noticed the blind man from earlier was playing and winning at roulette. After 15 wins in a row, a group of men wearing black clothes walked out. Naruto narrowed his eyes as the betted against the man and lied on where the ball fell to win.

The blind man wagered everything he won having the other follow suit. Naruto walked over just as the wheel stopped. "It landed on white. These men have been cheating you." Naruto said walking in front of the group. "Y-You're sure?!" The man asked having Naruto nod before the group pulled out swords. And stopped their advancement as the man got up and used his sword to trip one of them.

"Oh.. It felt like I tripped a boar.. If so I'm sorry." The group attacked as the man unsheathed a sword in his stick a little, revealing it to be a shikomizue (Swordstick), and expertly dodged the attacks. The man suddenly brought a sword before slowly sitting it again. Suddenly the room shook before the group of men fell down, and a hole was created knocking them out.

"Blindness has its advantages.. There's so much ugliness in the world I wish to never see." The man said having his eyes open a little showing the white of his eyes. He walked out and gave the cashier a piece of paper to send him the bill for damages. "Hey my wallet's missing!" Naruto looked back as multiple men, women, and toys were missing valuables.

Another toy a marrienet drummer explained that fairies stole them as Naruto walked back to the others. He noticed everyone shrugging off they were robbed as Zoro noticed Shusui was missing. Zoro looked back, and saw Shusui tied to a bag leaving through the window before running after with Sanji and Kin'emon followed.

Naruto saw one of the men walk out of the hole before walking over, grabbed him, and walked out to a back alley. Naruto threw him to the wall before glaring at him. "Tell me everything about Doflamingo's plans, where he's keeping a samurai, and his Smile factory!" Luffy, Franky, Thane, and Nojiko walked out as Tate and Kitchi followed after them.

"I don't know anything! Everyone is at the colosseum!" Naruto looked to his right and saw people walking to a large colosseum before looking back. "Young Master is holding a battle for a very special prize! The Mera Mera no Mi (Flame Flame Fruit.)!" Naruto dropped the ma before glancing to Luffy.

"Ace's... Mera Mera no Mi (Flame Flame Fruit.)?" Luffy asked pulling his glasses up. "What's it doing here?" The man raised his hands up before explaining. "No two Devil Fruits with the same power can exist at the same time.. When a Fruit user dies. Their fruit come back sometime later to be eaten again."

"If I could get my hands on that I-!" The man was interrupted by Luffy. "Like hell I'd let you eat it! Franky what about you?!" Franky shook his head at that. "I'd rather not be an anchor." Luffy sighed before speaking. "I ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi. (Gum gum Fruit) and Thane ate the Ōra Ōra no Mi. (Aura Aura Fruit.)"

"Would you eat it Naruto?" Luffy asked Naruto who looked at the colosseum for a moment. "Sure. Better me then another pirate." Naruto replied not looking back. (1.) "I'll go after the others.. Noji-chan.. make sure they don't get into trouble." Naruto said before leaving

Sanji And Zoro Middle Of Town.

Naruto dropped down beside Sanji in the town square loosing the others. Sanji cursed looking around. "Where the hell are..." He trailed off hearing a guitar strummed. Looking to his left, he saw a woman getting ready to dance.

She is a slender, olive-skinned, and tall woman. She is wearing her long, slightly wavy black hair pulled back and held in place by a rose, with a lock hanging to the left of her face. Along with the red rose in her hair, she has round earrings, purple stiletto heels, and a long, sleeveless white Flamenco dress with violet polka dot and maroon frills.

Sanji walked over as she started dancing holding a rose in her mouth. "Really Sanji?" Naruto asked walking beside him as Sanji's sight stayed on the woman. "I swear you're worse then Jiraiya-tousan. (Father.)" Naruto crossed his arms while they watched her dance. Once the dance ended, the woman looked in their direction and threw her rose towards them.

Sanji held his hands out, only for the rose to miss him and caught by Naruto who stared at her. "Teme. (Bastard.) Why would a goddess like her-" Sanji was interrupted by Zoro who stood behind them "You realize the woman here stab men to death right?" She winked at Naruto causing Sanji to gain a heart in his eye thinking she winked at him.

Naruto glanced back and saw Zoro disappeared as Sanji walked away. "Whoa wait a sec Sanji!" Naruto ran after him after pocketing the rose and they came to a street filled with couples with a heart themed fountain in the middle. "Oh great and I told Nojiko to stay behind.. I feel awkward without her now."

"Hello, you there!" Naruto and Sanji turned to see the woman that was dancing run towards them "You were the ones looking at me earlier, right?!" She asked as Sanji swooned and walked in front of Naruto while holding his arms out. Only to blink as she past him. She grabbed Naruto by the hands and looked at him. "Please... Hold me in your arms!"

'Why didn't stuff like this happen when I was single?!' Naruto thought before seeing guards run to them. The woman wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck and turned around so the guards would think they were kissing before they left. "Arigato. (Thank You.) It looks like they're gone." Naruto stared at her for a moment before Kitchi ran around the corner and up to them.

"Hey Kitchi." Naruto rubbed his head before Kitchi rubbed his nose against the woman's hand. She smiled as she petted him before speaking. "I'm Violet.. Again I think you for your help." Violet turned to leave but stopped as Naruto put a hand on her shoulder. "Are you sure you don't need help?"

"Yes.. You don't want to help a woman like me..." She said dramatically. "Every man I've gotten involved with... I've stabbed to death because our love turned sour.." Naruto stared at her for a moment before closing his eyes in a smile. "I'd still like to help if I can." She looked at him for a moment before hugging him.

"I need to get out of town." Naruto sighed ignoring the furious Sanji behind him shouting curses. "Alright.." They walked with Violet who put a cloak to hide her face while walking. Naruto noticed her sorrowful look before putting a hand on her shoulder. She smiled before leaning into him making him sweat.

'Shit.. Please don't let the others find out about this!' He thought as they continued to a closed resturant to hide.

Luffy, Thane, Tate, Franky, And Nojiko.

Nojiko's eyebrow twitched as she felt anger before seeing they made it to the colosseum. "Wait!" She turned to see two guards chasing a male toy missing his left leg rolling on a rollerskate.

He is a small toy soldier whose body resembles a dark-colored uniform with four buttons. He has a block-shaped head, square eyes with two blush marks painted underneath, a rectangular nose, a small angular mustache, and a hinged mouth. He also has lanky limbs and a wind-up key on his back.

He's wearing a large round hat with the letters 'SOL' printed on it. He has a small stub where his left leg used to be. He also has a small toy rifle.

The toy jumped to a hall on the second floor and looked at the guards. "I'm in the colosseum now! You can't arrest me.. The law states that no Police or Marine are allowed inside and you can't arrest a criminal even if you see them inside! The only law inside these wars is the laws of the Donquixote Family!"

"Pull those triggers and you will be the criminals! Now get out of my sight!" The guards glared before leaving having the toy jump down in front of the Straw Hats. "Oh! shall I carry your bags Ojiisan. (Old man.)?" Nojiko blinked at the politeness from the toy. "We're fine..." Nojiko trailed off before the toy spoke.

"Thunder Soldier Ma'am." Thane looked at the toy before looking at the entrance as Thunder Soldier had trouble staying balanced on the roller skate. "The open sign-up for today's battle is about to close!" They looked to see a woman in a black bikini wearing a Roman helmet near the entrance. "I won't sign up Luffy." Thane said glancing to Luffy.

"If we have to fight each other we'll be too weak to do anything against Doflamingo, or we could get each other disqualified and lose anyways." Luffy nodded before running off to sign up.

1. When that was in the Manga back in '14/15 I was thinking of having Naruto go in the tournament as I thought they were going the route of someone else winning and Luffy having to go after them before they ate the Fruit.. ALSO I won't give Naruto the Fruit since Sabo has it and come on is there anyone else who should have it?
