Chapter LXXIV.
Last Time.
Nami tells Carrot to stop fighting so they could get back to Luffy, and Carrot knocks out Randolph's crane with Electro to keep him from pursuing them. However, Randolph leaps into the air and spins his spear at the trio, hurling it with great velocity. Naruto, arms infused with Haki, grabbed the spear and threw it at the rabbit.
They continued past Pound, the field of lollipops and came up to Luffy before Naruto brought a Haki infused knee up to his face, knocking Luffy away.
"Why'd you do that?!"
"That was that fake Luffy!" Naruto yelled before they skid to a stop in front of Pound, confusing them as they ran by the man a few minutes ago and kept going in a straight line.
They turned and ran again, only to once again, end up in front of Pound. Confused, they turned to see the trees, flowers, other plants, and even patches of the ground moving to direct them in circles.
"This is the Seducing Woods!"
Turning to their left, they saw Charlotte Brûlée behind them. "No matter how many times you run, you'll never find your way out!" She said before bringing her hands up as Nami hid behind Naruto. "Such pretty faces… It makes me want to scratch them up!"
Now.
Brook And Pedro.
Brook and Pedro sail through a river to Sweet City. They docked just outside and hit the Shark Submerge as Brook covered his face and put on sunglasses as not to be recognized. Once they reach the capital, they dock in a hidden spot and head for the Whole Cake Chateau on foot. As they walk, they remark on the liveliness and diversity of the city, and a courier suddenly shouts that there is breaking news.
"Wonder what he's talking about?" Pedro asked as he goes ahead to see what it is. "Nani? (What?)" He is surprised as he looks at the front page of the paper to see a picture of Jinbe front and center on it.
They picked the newspaper as they and the citizens read the news of Jinbe withdrawing his request to leave the Big Mom Pirates. Pedro is surprised that a former Shichibukai (Seven Warlords) is one of Big Mom's subordinates, and Brook notes that Jinbe's allegiance to Big Mom is why she protects Fish-Man Island. He explains to Pedro that Jinbe is important to their crew, recalling their time in Fish-Man Island and how Jinbe agreed to join them after he took care of some business.
Brook is surprised that Jinbe would do something like what was mentioned in the newspaper article. Pedro calls Brook to join him around the corner of the building, and they look in the window to see Pudding trying on wedding dresses. She tries to leave because she has other arrangements, but her attendants and Tamago keep her in as they show her possible dresses.
Whole Cake Chateau.
Caesar Clown stands in the throne room before Big Mom herself, and she inquires about the state of the experiments she commissioned him to do. A terrified Caesar claims that he vigilantly worked on his research, and Big Mom reveals that she has had him look for a method to achieve Gigantification so that all races of the world can be the same size as her and they can sit at a table together as a family.
Caesar remembered what happened on Punk Hazard and that he'd blown Big Mom's money on a life of hedonism, purchasing Girls' Ships to come to the island every night. He looks up to Big Mom and lied that his research was disrupted after Luffy and Law destroyed his laboratory, saying he could only achieve the results he needed there.
However, Big Mom reveals that she had her Minister of Candy construct an exact replica of his lab on Whole Cake Island, and asks Caesar how long before he can achieve results.
"A week? Maybe two?"
Caesar was then brought outside where the Minister of Candy was waiting for him.
He is a very tall and slim man with brown eyes, a pointed nose, pink lips, and a very long thick tongue. He is smiling wearing a long, yellow coat with a tall lighter colored collar and the top buttons resembling large, purple and pink striped pieces of wrapped candy. The bottom of his coat has a checkered design and large beads along the hem.
There is a dark-colored beaded bracelet on each wrist and his long sharp fingernails are painted dark. His large, orange and red-striped hat has several rainbow-colored lollipops along its rim and a large, pale pink plume. Something large and navy blue with baby blue polka-dots comes out from under his hat and curves upward on either side. His shoes have a long tip spiraling inward.
He's carrying a large magenta and pink candy cane with a curved top which he is licking
The is Charlotte Perospero, the eldest child of the Charlotte Family and an officer of the Big Mom Pirates.
He then took Caesar to an exact replica of his lab and looked to the scientist. "Lick! Lick! Do you like that, Caesar-Kun? It seems to be quite authentic, doesn't it? The inside is exactly like the way it was too. Lick!" Perospero said before pulling up Caesar's hearts still in the block Law put it in and squeezed it, causing Caesar pain.
Night, Straw Hat Crew.
Naruto ran through the forest avoiding Brûlée before running into Pound where Luffy was with multiple Nami's, Chopper's, and Carrot's tied up. Luffy went to one Nami who wasn't making animal noises before turning her. "UNTIE ME!"
After being untied, and beating Luffy for tying her up, they looked for the real Chopper and Carrot before Nami turned to the buried man next to them, angrily stating that he had seen the entirety of their conflict with Brûlée without doing anything. She then reveals to Luffy what had happened while they were separated, as his mirror duplicate had turned out to be Charlotte Brûlée.
Carrot attacked her, but she blocked the mink's attack with a rippling corporeal mirror. The mirror reflected Carrot's attack back at herself, sending her flying back. Brûlée revealed that she could create mirrors with the power of the Mira Mira no Mi, (Mirror-Mirror Fruit) and Carrot attacked again, only for Brûlée to make a larger mirror that sucked her inside, cutting Carrot off from them.
Brûlée revealed that they, including Randolph, were stationed by Big Mom to play with and take down the Straw Hats in the Seducing Woods. The trio found themselves surrounded and overwhelmed by dozens of enemy flora, and Chopper told Nami and Naruto to run so not all three of them might be captured.
He then activated Monster Point and fought the flora as Nami ran away. Nami struggled to keep her footing Before Naruto pulled her onto his back as the ran away, and Chopper continued struggling against the flora and Randolph.
Naruto explained that a tree hit them and he got separated from Nami and was looking for either of them for a while as Luffy wondered if Chopper and Carrot would be alright. Nami finished by explaining that all happened in the spot they're standing in before turning to Pound.
Pound sighed before asking Nami if she is strong, noting that unlike Luffy and Naruto she does not look like it. He explains that Chopper was strong, but was ultimately subdued by the anthropomorphic flora and fauna who would not be stopped.
Nami states that she got them to stop attacking her, as did Luffy after he beat up enough of them. Luffy then asks how everything is alive in the first place, and Pound reveals that the citizens of Totto Land give up their lifespans in exchange for living safely in Big Mom's territory. They give away a month of their lifespans every six months as a result of Big Mom's Soru Soru no Mi, (Soul-Soul Fruit,) which enables her to manipulate souls.
And that she sends her Incarnations, which are black blob creatures, to collect the soul fragments, and these are released into the wild. When they enter an inanimate object or even an animal like Randolph, the object gains sentience and becomes a homie.
Luffy asks if the animal duplicates of his allies are also homies, and Pound states that it is actually Brûlée's power turning animals into reflections of people. Luffy gets mad at the man for not telling him after watching the whole time, and Pound replies he did not want to get involved in anything before Luffy attacked by pulling on his eyelids.
"Itai! (Ouch!) I'll tell you!" He eventually relents as Luffy pulls on his eyelids, revealing that he was once one of Big Mom's husbands having them stare in shock. He continues that she cast him away after he sired two daughters with her. Now, the homies in the woods do not avoid him, but simply do not care about him.
Suddenly, a tall man emerges behind Pound, to the Straw Hats shock.
He's a large, brutish-looking warrior standing about four times bigger than Luffy with a prominent nose, a large pointed beard, disproportionately thin limbs, and a prominent scar on the right side of its face. He's wearing a vest made of crackers, a Spartan-style warrior's helmet, with horns on the side of his head, a belt with a circular belt buckle with 'BIS' on it and he's holding a broad sword over his right shoulder.
This is Charlotte Cracker, the tenth son and 15th child of the Charlotte Family and one of the Three Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates and the Minister of Biscuit with a bounty of 860 million Berries.
Cracker grabs the man by the ponytail as he pulls him out of the ground. Pound eventually fully surfaces, shocking Luffy and Nami as it is revealed that his body is the same size as his head. Cracker confronts Pound about him spilling information, and Pound begs him to at least let him see his daughter, Chiffon one last time, as he heard she had gotten married.
He pleads for Cracker to let him see Linlin and notes that although his other daughter Lola ran away, he treasures both of his daughters dearly.
Nami is shocked to hear Lola's name and remembers Pudding telling them in her cafe about one of her sisters running away. She then remembers meeting Lola on Thriller Bark first as a zombie who had her shadow and then met the real Lola on the Thousand Sunny after successfully retrieving all the stolen shadows including Lola's.
She then remembered Lola giving her a Vivre Card leading to her mother, as she had come from the New World and her mother was a very powerful pirate there.
Suddenly, Randolph comes swooping in from the sky on his crane, attempting to ambush Luffy and Nami. However, Cracker shouts at him to stop, knocking him and his crane away. Cracker's shout causes him to emit an aura of power once again, which causes all the homies around him to wither away in fright.
Naruto and Luffy kept their eyes on Cracker as Nami looked around and wondered if that was Haki Cracker just used.
"I don't think so, the animals and he would be knocked out," Naruto said looking at Pound as he and the animals that looked like Nami and the others were still awake.
Randolph and his crane got up as Cracker turned to them and had his aura come back. "How could you get in my way like that? When did you become so important? Randolph"
"It was his fault," Randolph said pointing to the crane who turned to him.
"Don't lie! It was yours!" The crane shot back before both apologized as Cracker's aura didn't let up.
"Is he someone in a high position?" Nami asked as she turned to Cracker.
"He very strong at least," Naruto replied not taking his eyes off the Commander.
Cracker explained Big Mom had thought ahead in case Brûlée couldn't defeat them and sent him to take care of the group.
"I can't just let you say that Ni-san! (Big Bro!)"
Brûlée then rode in on an extremely large tree homie with a wide light gray trunk and a large amount of blueish gray foliage. He has small eyes, a very long and pointy nose, a very long handlebar mustache, a mouth full of sharp teeth, a large tongue, and two rather small arms that cannot even reach across his body.
This is Kingbaum, the master of the Seducing Woods.
"Holy shit!"
"Whoa! A tree monster!"
"We, the Seducing Woods Team have never let even a single target walk away alive-ju!" Kingbaum said as Cracker stared at them.
Cracker explains to his sister that Big Mom needed the Straw Hats to be dealt with quickly and decisively because tomorrow at noon the Vinsmoke Family will be fully gathered on Whole Cake Island. Brûlée reveals that she knows and has already made progress in this goal as she creates a mirror. She turns the duplicates of his crewmates back into animals before showing Chopper and Carrot trapped within a mirror.
Luffy is shocked by this, and Brûlée drops the mirror to the ground from atop Kingbaum's branch, shattering it. However, Chopper and Carrot are still fine, just trapped within the confines of the shattered mirror. Chopper then reveals a plan that he has devised the trio.
Cracker then prepares to execute his stepfather as Pound begs him to let him see Linlin, but Cracker explains that Big Mom approved of him executing her former husband. Pound is shocked, that he would kill family. Cracker replies that Big Mom does not consider her 43 ex-husbands to be her real family, nor do any of her children.
Cracker swings his sword at Pound before Naruto blocks the sword strike with his trench knives, and immediately flips over and kicks Cracker's arm with a Haki infused leg, forcing him to release Pound.
"Was that sympathy?"
"Call it whatever the hell you want," Naruto replied looking up at Cracker as the homies all started to flee. "Luffy, I got this guy."
Luffy, Nami, and Pound then start to run away with the homies and Randolph after them along with Brûlée. As they are pursued, Pound turns to Nami and asks about her earlier reaction to the mention of Lola. Nami then pulls out the Vivre Card that Lola gave her out of her cleavage and reveals that she got this from her. However, the card emits an aura that stops the homies, including Kingbaum and Randolph, dead in their tracks.
A shocked Brûlée wonders why they have stopped the pursuit, and Kingbaum reveals that Big Mom's powerful soul is emanating from the card, shocking Nami as her suspicions about Lola being Big Mom's daughter are confirmed.
With Naruto, he stared at Cracker as homies withered from his aura. "Kaimon! (Gate of Opening!)" He crossed his arms as aura came off him. "Kyūmon! (The Gate of Healing!)" His skin started to turn red as his hair stood on end. "Seimon! (Gate Of Life!)"
Naruto disappeared as he dashed at Cracker's face for a punch, hand covered in Haki. "100-Pāsento Shingurupanchi! (One Hundred Percent Punch!)"
Cracker blocked with his sword having Naruto flip back as Cracker swung his sword. "Sukai Wōku! (Sky Walk!)" Naruto ran down to the ground to dodge a second sword. "What the hell?"
Looking up, he saw Cracker had a second right arm under his first. "(Sigh) Of course." Naruto dodged several strikes before Cracker revealed another right arm. "OK, this is cheating!"
"Stop struggling Maelstrom." Cracker said and thrusts all three swords at Naruto who crossed his arms, added Haki to them and his chest to block them. "Kōsei shatai! (Steel Body!)" He yelled as his body shown from the Rokushiki (Six Powers) technique before being pushed into the woods by the others and flipped to land on his feet.
"Teme! (Bastard!)" Naruto cursed as Cracker walked over, sword in all four hands.
"He has extra arms!"
"I'm the Biscuit Knight Cracker, one of the Sweet 3 Generals. Also known as… Thousand armed Cracker." He then tapped his left shoulder with his top right hand. "If I tap once, it becomes two." Another arm came out where he tapped. "If I tap it again," A third arm then came out under his left one. "It becomes three."
"Nani? (What?)"
"They'll keep multiplying." Cracker said as two more arms came out on each side with biscuit shields and several legs came out as well. "Don't even dream of beating me. I won't let you screw up Mama's tea party!"
"Shōmon! (Gate of Pain!)" Naruto yelled out before then opening another "Tomon! (Gate of Limit!)" He then ran to Cracker with a punch. "1000M Panchi! (1000 Meter Punch!)"
Cracker blocked with his shields before Naruto jumped in the air and came down with a kick, Leg covered in Haki. "Tsūtenkyaku! (Heaven Kick Of Pain!)"
Naruto was kicked back to the others by one of Cracker's extra legs.
"Naruto! No! Don't get into an all-out fight!" Nami yelled to her husband. "That's not our objective!"
"Don't think this forest or Cracker will let us leave alive! Besides If I didn't fight all-out that'd be me not taking an opponent seriously."
"Humph! What an insolent brat!" Cracker said bringing his swords in front of him. "Look at this sword! Isn't it something? It's called Pretzel! It's one and only sword in the world! I'll teach you a lesson about the roughness of the New World!"
"Only one? But you have six!" Nami yelled as Naruto appeared in front of Cracker with his blades out. "Tō: Maichimonji! (Blade: Straight Line!)" He then brought it horizontally down at Cracker's head.
Cracker blocked with his shield before seeing it crack before pushing Naruto away, ran to him, and started stabbing at him with the swords having Naruto dodged them. "Rōru Purettseru! (Pretzel Roll!)" Imbuing his sword with Haki, Cracker rotates his hand at high speed and stabs at Naruto.
Naruto covered his chest in Haki before flying into the woods from the attack. Cracker ran to Naruto as the homies writhed from his aura before hearing Naruto. "Keimon! (Gate Of View!)"
"Get him Naruto!" Luffy yelled out as he ran towards the fight.
Nami chases after them but she and Pound are confronted by Brûlée and Kingbaum, who decide to take care of the two of them. Nami steps back from the giant Kingbaum in fear, and Brûlée mocks the Straw Hats and the other members of the Saiaku no Seda, (Worst Generation,) revealing that Eustass Kid, Scratchmen Apoo, Capone Bege, and Urouge had all previously invaded Totto Land.
She then explained that Bege, wanted to ally himself with the Big Mom Pirates, all of the Sūpā Rūkī (Supernovas) had been chased away without seeing or even hearing Big Mom herself. The only one who made an impact in his invasion was Urouge, who managed to defeat one of the Sweet Commanders back when there were four of them.
She continued on that had made a massive storm hit as Big Mom sent a large fleet after Urouge, with Cracker in command. Urouge fought Cracker and was unable to penetrate his defenses, even when he used his Akuma no Mi (Devil Fruit) power. Cracker was underwhelmed by Urouge and defeated him. Now, she speculates that Urouge's body is lying around somewhere, and she creates a mirror before throwing it down by Nami's feet.
She then disappears and reappears in the mirror, boasting in the power of the Yonko (Emperor) as she emerges and expands the mirror, grabbing Nami by the ankle. Brûlée starts to drag Nami into the Mirro-World, and Nami screams. Pound is initially overtaken with fear, but when Nami calls to him for help, he eventually builds up resolve and attacks Brûlée.
"That's treason Pound!" Brûlée yelled as she dodges his punch, but releases Nami.
Nami unleashes a weather egg to create a storm cloud and strike Brûlée with lightning, stunning the woman as she falls into the Mirro-World and her mirror disappears. "Sandāboruto Tenpo! (Thunderbolt Tempo!)"
Up ahead, Naruto dodges Cracker's attack before punching him with a fury of punches and kicks that he blocked. "It's no use Maelstrom, You attacks won't work on me."
Naruto ignored him before jumping back to avoid two rotating swords. Only to get hit and sent flying into a building by the edge of the woods. Naruto got up just as Cracker tackled him into the building again. "Kyōmon! (Gate Of Wonder!)"
Naruto dashed at Cracker leaving a shock wave behind him before jumping and turned to kick through his shield, and into his chest sending him into the woods.
Sweet City.
"There it is."
The full moon shined down on the city as Brook and Pedro get the Whole Cake Chateau in their sights. They started to walk, only to hide in an alley as they see homies with bodies very similar to Cracker's patrolling down the city. They hide from the sentries and are horrified when one of them looks into their alley, but it does not see them as it instead picks up a piece of candy left on the ground.
"Pedro-san, how are we going to get past such tight security?" Brook asked the Mink and Pedro turned to him. "Don't worry. I have an idea." They looked to the back of the sentry before he continued. "Let's use that one."
Mirro-World.
Chopper and Carrot, who both have balls and chains attached to their feet stare at the world they're caught in. Mirro-World has no defined layout, consisting entirely of a curved floor and walls that have checker patterns on them; the floor is pink and crimson while the walls are light and dark purple. There is also a staircase that goes through the realm. The floor and walls of the Mirro-World are covered in mirrors.
"Where are we?"
I think that Brûlée's Mirror World." Chopper replied looking around.
"I don't see an exit."
"Yeah… Let's check that one." Chopper said looking at an oval mirror by their feet.
Naruto Vs. Cracker.
"Konoha Ryūjin! (Leaf Dragon God!)" Naruto did an upward spin kick and creates a tornado that Formed into a dragon with long whiskers.
The dragon then attacked Cracker who tried to stab it, only for his sword to break and the dragon to go through his chest, bisecting him. Suddenly, a man came out of Cracker, smiling.
He is a very tall and muscular man, standing slightly taller than Doflamingo. He has light and mostly short purple hair, with a long, baguette-like bun tied at the back of his head and a pair of thin, pointed strands on either side that appear to spark like firecrackers. A very large scar covers his right eye and he has small wrinkles around both eyes.
He is shirtless and is wearing a kilt with decorative biscuits adorning it as well as shin length brown boots on his lower half. On his right shoulder, he has a large brightly colored pauldron that has a pink polka dot cape attached to it.
"You did a good job… Breaking my armor!"
"I take it you're the real Cracker?" Naruto asked as Cracker grinned and jumped out into a crouch in front of his armor.
"That was my favorite armor. I ate the Bis-Bis No Mi (Biscuit-Biscuit Fruit) and became a biscuit human." Cracker explained as he stood up straight. "I can generate biscuits!" He said clapping his hands having large biscuits pear in front of him. "To shape them into anything!" Clapping again, the biscuits he created disintegrated and turned into two sets of the armor he used.
He then explained he used the armor for fighting and that the armor is what people look for when looking for him as he pulled his wanted poster that had a picture of the armor instead of him. Four sets of the armor came up before Luffy crashed into them and started to eat them after not having anything to eat for a while.
"Luffy, take care of the armor this guy creates!"
"Hot Ut!" Luffy replied with a mouth full as he went into Gia Sekendo (Gear Second) before biting his arm and went into Gia Fōsu (Gear Four.)
"OK Cracker. Let's go!" Naruto yelled staring at the real Cracker.
