Decided on updating this as Beta is busy IRL and they aren't caught up to OP just yet so wanted to update this as it's been almost 4 months PLUS to let you all know that the next update for this story WILL BE ON JUNE 1ST FOR THE 10th ANNIVERSARY so that will be a 7K Ch.
So in between story updates, I'll work on this story for a day or 2 until getting to 7K (As usually, I like to take a day or 2 break after uploading a Ch. As not to get burned out on anything.)
So I'll upload this hopefully on June 1st if power/internet doesn't go out or I gotta be out of town for that day/week.
Chapter XCIV.
Last Time.
"Guys, go back to the Skull Dome!" Sasaki said to the men behind him. "I'll join you later."
They then walk to the side where Denjiro's men ambush Sasaki, tying him with Seastone chains. From there, the southern forces split up into two groups; one would enter the Skull Dome while the other continues down the path.
Chopper And Usopp.
Big Mom chases the tank into a canyon, with her forces setting up cannons and mortars to fire at them. Although Chopper fires back and destroys the cannons and mortars, Big Mom throws a missile at the tank from above sending it flying into the air. Chopper uses the chance to fire at Big Mom's head, then throws another explosive into Big Mom's mouth. Big Mom is still unharmed and chases the tank away.
Now.
Halls.
A mysterious masked person runs through the halls. They're standing at 8'8", Wearing a hannya mask which has a blue wig with an extremely long and wild mane attached to the top and a long blue goatee attached to the bottom. They have a baggy kimono with long white sleeves, showing handcuffs with chains on each wrist, and red hakama pants and sandals. They start speaking about how excited they are to meet Luffy. They're also being chased by the Beasts Pirates who see them running. They cross through several rooms, including the one where Kid is fighting Beasts Pirates.
Meanwhile, Ulti checks on her brother Page One after jumping on him and having them fall downstairs, her riding his back like a sled and coming face to face with Luffy. She then confronts Luffy and is told that he is a pirate intruder. They immediately get into a fight and they headbutt each other, each attempting to knock the other down. Ulti gets the upper hand and slams Luffy into the floor.
She and Page One then start changing him into a full Spinosaurus and her a hybrid Pachycephalosaurus.
Ulti: Ryū Ryū no Mi Moderu: Pakikefarosaurusu. (Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Pachycephalosaurus.)
Page One: Ryū Ryū no Mi Moderu: Supinosaurusu. (Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Spinosaurus.)
"Why did you two change?" One of the Beast Pirates asked.
"Uresai. (Shut up.)" Ulti said over her shoulder. "We have acknowledged him as a strong enemy!"
"But his skull's been cracked!" Another spoke before Haki washed over the area.
"Then how do you explain that Haki?!"
"That hurt!"
Luffy jumped back up and held his head. "There are a bunch of tough ones… I was downplaying it. I was wrong. This castle belongs to an Emperor of the Sea!"
"I will destroy you!"
Luffy held out a hand as Ulti yelled. He threw a punch that Ulti dodged before she dashed over and threw punches of her own. Luffy dodged them and kicked Page One back and continued dodging Ulti's punches and kicks. "Gomu Gomu no… (Gum-Gum…)" He stretched his arm and opened his fist before jumping over the surprised Ulti.
He grabbed her horns and flipped her to land on her back. "Onee-san! (Big Sis!)"
Page One tried biting Luffy who grabbed a rafter, pulling himself up. Luffy dropped down and had his left arm go into Gia Sādo. (Gear Third) and added Haki to it. "Gomu Gomu no... Erefanto Gan! Gum-Gum Elephant Gun!)"
He punched Page One on his back as Ulti got up. "Page One-sama! Are you okay?! Page One-sama..."
"You teme! (bastard!) How dare you do that to Pay-Pay?! I'll destroy you!" Se yelled going into her full dino form.
"Ulti-sama turned into a dinosaur, too!"
"Please! The castle can't take it anymore!"
"Uresai! Shut up! Don't tell me what to do!" She yelled at them before headbutting Luffy as she grabbed him. "Uru Zugan! (Ulti-Mortar!)" Luffy added Haki to his head and had his head lolled back. "How tough your head is! This won't be over until it's all smashed up! I'm gonna break your head open! Uru Mītia! (Ulti-Meteor!)"
Electricity covered her head before she glared down as Luffy looked up. Just as the mystery person hit Ulti with a large kanabo with tremendous force and speed knocking Ulti out. "Raimei Hakke! (Thunder Bagua!)"
"Straw Hat Luffy! It's you, isn't it?!" The person asked in a high voice while landing beside Luffy when he dropped.
"Hai, (Yes,) it is!" Luffy nodded at the person.
"I… I…"
"Who are you?!" Luffy asked before the person grabbed him and ran off.
"He's getting away!"
"Yamato-sama!"
"Catch him!"
"I'm sorry! I'm not gonna hurt you!" Yamato said while running.
"Hai, (Yeah,) you don't seem like you will… Listen, I gotta go!"
"I've been waiting for you! Finally! You're finally here! I've been waiting for you! All this time! My name is Yamato! I'm Kaido's son!" Yamato yelled shocking Luffy.
Chopper & Usopp.
"Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!"
Chopper yelled out as they fired missiles at the Yonko (Emperor.) they got back to the building only for her to laugh as she continued running after them. "I knew it wouldn't work!
"Don't give up! If we can't trust this Brachio tank, who else will?! I won't let go of this lever even if it kills me!"
"Usopp… Targeting Big Mom!" Chopper said going to the target scope
"Brachio tank, High-explosive Anti-tank! Shoot!" Usopp yelled right before Big Mom smacked them away.
She suddenly stopped and walked towards the building before the tank transformed into the legs of General Franky. "What's going on?!"
"With that punch, it seems like the transformation switch has been activated," Usopp said as they got up from the hit.
"We've got to combine it with the Black Rhino ASAP to form the General Franky!" Chopper said as Usopp nodded.
"Uh-huh! To the promised hill!"
"But what should we do, Usopp?! Big Mom went after Nami and the others!"
"I guess she'll try to take back Zeus," Usopp replied as they started running with the legs.
"I'm worried about them..."
"Well, they're gonna be fine… Naruto's with them, too."
"Kin'emon and the others were able to move forward, so we're doing well!" Chopper said as they started to run. "We showed them what this Brachio tank is capable of!"
"Hai! (Yeah!) Commander Chopper! Sniper and Driver Usopp! The Brachio tank! Nothing stands in our way!"
Inside, Naruto stood in front of Nami, Carrot, and Shinobu as Prometheus looked down. "Run!" He yelled at them before jumping on the wall, opened his gates, and dashed around having Prometheus focus on him. Shinobu pulled Nami away as all three ran ahead before Naruto flipped from a rafter and into a hole in the ceiling to run through the small space. Only for fire to burst through behind him. "Damn it!"
He continued running and came down into another room. Only to stop as he saw Big Mom's shadow through the doors. "We don't need to rush. The Performance Floor is ahead. They can't get away!"
He glared before jumping out the window and ran along the roof before coming up to the hall and dropped down to see Jinbe, Robin, Mai, Emiko, and Nojiko.
"Everyone is drunk and there is virtually no security," Jinbe said before Naruto spoke.
"But Big Mom is back in. That sun of hers called her back when spotting us. Nami and the others got away but don't know where they went." He then looked in the crowd and saw Hyogoro. "The samurai have successfully snuck in."
"You're quite cute! Which unit do you belong to?"
Naruto looked to see a man grab Robin from the back. "What's your name? Tell me-!" He stopped as Naruto stabbed his neck and then dragged him under the stairs.
"You scare me," Jinbe said when Naruto got back.
In another hallway, Zoro sliced a SMILEs user before resting a sword on his shoulder. "Damn! What's going on?! There are a bunch of power users..."
"Call us Gifters." One man said before a female with mantis claws smiled.
"I can't believe you made it all the way inside your enemy's territory. You really don't fear death."
"Hai, (Yeah,) I suppose not." Zoro smiled
"I know you wanna become the King of the Pirates, too." She said having Zoro blink. " We as well were once aiming to be the King of the Pirates but as long as Kaido-sama's alive, you'll never accomplish it!"
"I have no interest in that," Zoro said to her. "It's our captain who'll become the King of the Pirates."
"Hmmm… You're quite handsome. Why don't you join us?"
"What if I say no?"
"Can you?" She asked before Zoro looked back to see more Gifters. "This is how powerful Kaido-sama is! There are almost 500 of us. If you obey Kaido-sama, it'll make things easier for you."
"Take the easy way."
"You can still start over."
"No way!" Zoro smiled at that.
"Willing to die?!" The woman asked as Zoro sliced the group behind him and sent a shockwave when getting to the center of the group. "What the..."
"No, I'm not willing to die at all," Zoro said gripping Enma and Kitetsu. "But you guys better be. If I have to die, I'd rather fall forward than backward."
Luffy And Yamato
"You said you were Kaido's son… What do you want from me?"
Luffy asked as Yamato continued to run holding him. "I have something to tell you. It's important."
"I don't have time now."
"Don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt you." Yamato said while running.
"Didn't you hear me say…" Luffy planted his feet and flipped Yamato. "I don't have time?!" He slipped and fell on his face as Yamato flipped in mid-air and landed.
"I have something to tell you."
"Where are you taking me?! I've got no time for a stranger!"
"Matte. (Wait.) I just wanna talk." Yamato said as Luffy glared.
"Get out of my way!" Luffy attacked with large Haki-infused hands that Yamato blocked with the kanabo.
"Listen to what I have to say!"
"You have five seconds!" Luffy continued his attacks.
"People can hear us. I wanna talk to you in private." Yamato replied having Luffy shake his head.
"Then, no! Gomu Gomu no... Gataringu! (Gum-Gum Gatling!)" Luffy attacked with a barrage of punches.
"You're hard-headed!" Yamato yelled out as fire covered Luffy's fist and attacked with a punch. "It reminds me of… The fight against that man!" Yamato said remembering fighting Ace several years ago.
'Who are you?! Give me your name! Give me your name!'
'I'm… Ace! I'm here to take Kaido's head!'
Coast.
At Onigashima's coast, Law's submarine approaches the back of the island, battling strong currents. The submarine goes up to the surface, then Law creates a Room for his Devil Fruit ability. Using the Shambles move, he switches the samurai on the submarine with mountain rocks on the island. This transports the samurai to a snowy mountain peak.
Marco also arrives, having carried Nekomamushi and Izou to Onigashima. Kikunojo has a heartfelt reunion with his brother after twenty years of separation. Ashura and the others prepare to enter the castle.
Back at the castle, Kaido gets frustrated that Yamato has not been captured yet. He decides to personally appear at the party, and introduces a plan called the "New Onigashima Project."
Attic.
Yamato got Luffy to agree to talk in the attic. " You have five minutes!"
"Uh-huh! One day, I told my father that I wanted to become Kozuki Oden. My father kicked my butt."
"Why are you telling me that?! And why now of all times?!" Luffy asked Yamato as mice ran around them.
"years ago, I witnessed Oden's execution, the Legendary Hour. There was no samurai as great as him. The ones who killed him were Orochi and my father… Kaido! That was frustrating… But more than that, I was deeply moved and couldn't stop crying. Later, I found this in Kuri." Yamato stood and held a journal.
ODEN'S TRAVEL RECORD
"It's Kozuki Oden's logbook."
"Oh, his journal!" Luffy said having Yamato nod.
"Uh-huh. It's my bible! Even my father and the others don't know about this journal! His heroic tales and other important tidbits are written here. He met the strongest man in the world, Edward Newgate, and joined the Whitebeard Pirates. He set out to sea and had numerous adventures. And eventually, he met the infamous Gold Roger. After joining the Roger Pirates, he visited various islands, met so many people, and saw all kinds of things."
"And he realized… How big the world is! Now that the Akazaya samurai are dead, someone has to inherit Oden's will! That's why… I'm gonna open up this country!" Yamato took off the mask and ripped the sleeves off the kimono revealing she was a woman with a rather large bust.
She has long, white hair that is bound between orange rods into a ponytail at the back, which fades into aqua green and then blue the further down it goes and ends in rectangular locks similar to Kaido. She also has large, orange eyes with prominent eyelashes, gold hoop earrings on both ears, and horns on the top of her head which are mostly red, but gradually become more flesh-colored toward the base.
Kaido's Daughter, Self-Proclaimed Kozuki Oden, Yamato.
"You are…" Luffy trailed off as Yamato looked down.
"Let me fight alongside you!"
"You said you were Kaido's son."
"Kozuki Oden was a man, right? So I became a man, too. You're really strong. You weren't going all out when you fought me, were you? You remind me of Ace."
"Nani?! (What?!)"
