-Hogwarts, Snape's Quarters-
"I'm alive!" Alex shouted, slumping on the couch, exhausted. He had a few minor burns, and his hair was a lot messier.
The auburn teen barely got his golden egg since the Horntail was beyond furious and took it out on Alex.
Since there's no way to gain her trust, Alex went to plan B: out speed her.
He was grateful for the flying training against Harry's dragon, if not, he could've been burnt to a crisp.
But now the leading board is in fifth place is Fleur with 40 points, fourth place is Alex with 45 points, third place is Cedric with 46 points, second place is Viktor with 49 points and in first place is Harry with 50 points.
Lily sighed, "I swear I'm going to have gray hairs after this."
Alina made a face, "You and me both."
"It's thanks to Harry and his friends that I survived the first task," said Alex, honestly.
Alina smiled, "Thank you."
Harry shrugged, "He's still my brother. He may have been a prick, but it's because of James and his lies. I can't judge him by that."
"So… you two trust me?" Alex asked, nervously.
The Snape twins looked at each other, then nodded.
Alex sighed in relief but stepped back when Draco leaned close to his face.
"However, break our trust, Potter and you wished Riddle have killed you, understand?" he said, coldly.
"C-Crystal," said Alex, nervously.
'Merlin, he's scary. Note to self, don't piss off Draco.'
"So, when are you two going to work on the egg?" Severus asked.
Lily and Alina went to check on their youngest children.
"We have plenty of time to solve it," Harry looked at the egg, "I'll wait until after Yule Ball."
Severus nodded, knowing his son would figure it out in no time.
However, Alex had a confused look.
"There's… a Yule Ball?" he asked.
"Yes. It's tradition that the hosting school of the Tri-Wizard tournament will host the Yule Ball in Christmas," replied Lily.
She was carrying Eileen while Alina was carrying Emile.
"Do I have to dance?" Alex asked.
"Yes, it's required for the champions to start off the opening dance," answered Alina.
"Aw come on! I have two left feet!" Alex shouted, dramatically.
"Your mother and I can give you some dance lessons, if you like," offered Lily.
Alex nodded quickly.
"And if you need help finding a date, I'm your man!" Sirius said with a huge grin, "There's no witch that didn't say no to this handsome wizard."
Severus and Remus rolled their eyes.
"Oh yes, Padfoot. Those girls loved your brilliant gifts," said Severus, sarcastically.
Remus smirked, "Ah, yes. Remind me, what did Mary do to you again?"
"Shut it! How was I supposed to know those bloody chocolates were laced with the Burping potion?" Sirius said.
"Maybe next time you don't get things out of James' trunk?" Remus stated.
Severus just laughed.
"What did she do, mom?" Draco asked.
"Let's just say… Sirius wasn't able to sit down and had to stay in the hospital wing for a week," replied Lily, smirking.
The Evans trio winced.
That's when two owls came in through the opened window. One owl went to Severus and the other went to Sirius.
Both men took the message, and the owls flew away.
Severus and Sirius widened their eyes upon seeing the St. Mungo's seal on it. They quickly opened the letter and read it.
"Cissy… she's finally… awake," whispered Sirius.
"Who's awake?" Alex asked.
Severus and Lily looked at each other before nodding. He walked over to Draco and placed his hands on his son's shoulders.
"Your birth mother has finally woken up."
-St. Mungo's, Nov. 28-
Narcissa was reading a book when two familiar men came into her room with a young teenage boy, who has blond-black hair and gray-green eyes.
"It's wonderful to finally see you awake, Cissa," said Severus.
"It's bloody about time!" Sirius said, dramatically.
Narcissa smiled before frowning.
Nurse Lana had informed her what had happened twelve years ago.
Aurors stormed into her home to arrest her husband, but Lucius fought back; however, he was outmatched by her cousin and James.
During the fight, she was hit by a stray spell and knocked her to a wall, hitting her head hard. But she wasn't supposed to get hurt, only to arrest Lucius.
"Sev, where's my son and husband?" Narcissa asked.
Severus placed the blond-black-haired boy in front of him.
"Let me introduce you to your son, Draco. Draco, this is your mother, Narcissa," he said.
Narcissa suspected her son to give her a huge hug and many kisses after being separated for so long… but it didn't happen.
"This young, handsome young man, is my little dragon?" Narcissa smiled, "I have so many questions, but we'll have plenty of time once I'm discharged."
Draco lifted an eyebrow, "Um, will you be visiting, Mrs. Malfoy?"
Narcissa frowned, "Visiting? No sweetie, you'll be coming back home with me and your father. I'm sure your godfather can get permission from the headmaster to come home early."
"Um, why?" Draco asked, awkwardly.
Narcissa was confused.
Why wasn't her son happy to finally be reunited with his parents after twelve years?
What's going on?
And where's Lucius?
Severus sighed, "Draco, why don't you get something to eat?"
Draco nodded silently and quickly walked out of the room.
"Wha – Why did you do that, Severus?! I have so many questions to ask my son! And… Where. Is. Lucius?!" Narcissa said.
"Cissy, we don't want to overwhelm Draco right now. He just learned that Severus was his godfather and you and Lucius are his birth parents," said Sirius.
Narcissa frowned, "Just… learned? What do you mean by that?"
Severus sighed, "You see, I gained custody of Draco since you were in a coma and Lucius was… was… waiting trial for being a Death Eater."
Narcissa's eyes widened, "B-B-But he was proven innocent, right? So, why is he not here?! Why wasn't he been taking care of our son?!"
"I'm sorry, he wasn't. He was found guilty and sent to Azkaban," replied Sirius.
Narcissa shook her head, "No! No! You're lying! Lucius promised! He said he'll find a way out of the Dark Lord's service after Draco's birth."
"I'm sorry Cissy," Sirius sighed, "In Lucius' trial, Frank suggested to use Veritaserum… he told everything… what he was planning… he confessed, all of it… including to train Draco on becoming a Death Eater behind your back."
Narcissa started to sob uncontrollably, and Sirius held on to her for comfort.
She then took a deep breath, "So, you've been taking care of my son, Sev?"
Severus nodded.
Narcissa frowned, "Then… why does he see me as a stranger?"
"Well, the first two years, I brought Draco to see you. Then I meet Lily with her young son at the park nearby where I live," started Severus.
Narcissa had a disbelief look and eyes widened as she learned what had happened for the past twelve years.
The Evans' and the Snape's were overseas purebloods.
The Evans are related to Lucius.
Lily's son is being mistreated by James.
The twin ritual between her son and Lily's.
Severus married Lily and they all moved to America.
At that moment, Draco came back with food. He even brought something soft for his mother after learning from the nurse that she's on a soft/liquid diet.
That surprised Narcissa, which made her feel hopeful.
'He may not see me as a mother, but I can still form a bond as an aunt,' she thought, happily.
-Hogwarts, Great Hall-
"Honestly, you two. Why do you two always wake up so late during the weekends?" Hermione scolded her friends.
Alex yawned, "It's the weekend, Mione! I need my sleep!"
"No excuses! And have you even started working on the egg yet?!" Hermione snapped.
"Relax Mione. He has plenty of time," said Ron, filling up his plate.
"Like he had plenty of time for the first task, mm?" Hermione countered.
Alex and Ron flinched.
"Mione, I promise I'll work on the egg after the holidays," said Alex before making a face.
Hermione frowned, "What's wrong?"
Alex sighed, "It's tradition that the hosting school for the tournament will host the Yule Ball."
"And?" Ron said, stuffing his mouth with food.
"Well as tradition, the champions are required to open the opening dance… with their dates," said Alex, softly.
"I see. So, who are you going with?" Hermione asked.
Alex blushed, "Um, well… I'm not sure. I'm horrible talking to girls."
"You? Horrible with girls?! Mate, since our first year, the girls were falling over you! They were practically under your feet!" Ron said, dramatically.
Alex sighed, "Thanks to Sora, who opened my eyes, I know that the girls only like me cause of my fame."
Hermione and Ron felt sorry for their best friend when Hermione noticed Harry with a little girl.
"Who's that with your brother?" she asked.
"Oh, that's Eileen. She's my half-younger sister," answered Alex.
"She's adorable!" Lavender said, giggling with the other girls.
That's when they saw Eileen dragging Harry and Sora, who just showed up, to the Gryffindor table.
"Hi, brother Alex," greeted Eileen.
"Afternoon, where's Draco?" Alex asked.
Harry and Sora sat across from him while Eileen sat on Harry's lap.
"St. Mungo's with dad and Uncle Siri. They're visiting Draco's birth mom," Harry replied.
"You didn't go?" Alex asked.
Harry shook his head, "Nah, it's not my place to be."
"So, where's your friends? And do you know about the Yule Ball? Are you going with Sora?" Hermione asked.
"Blimey Hermione, one question at a time," said Ron.
Sora laughed, "Sevie does the same thing if it's about Potions. As for our friends and my sisters, they have their own things to do. Sevie and I just finished practicing our element magic."
"As for the ball, yea Sora's my date," said Harry, making nearby Gryffindor girls have disappointed looks.
"Have any good advice on asking a girl out?" Alex asked, sheepishly.
"Well, one thing: be a gentleman," Harry pointed at Ron, who was stuffing his mouth with food. "But mostly, be yourself. Don't be a show-off or something you're not."
"Right, got it," said Alex while Hermione was scolding Ron about his horrible table manners. "So, why is Eileen with you?"
"Mommy and daddy are busy today, so I get to stay with Ry," replied Eileen.
Alex smiled, "Any plans after lunch?"
"Mm, not really. We're all caught up with our assignments and training," replied Sora.
'I have something in mind,' thought Alex, thinking about the room Lily showed him.
"Then, you wouldn't mind getting your brother to start on his assignments. He and Ron love to do them in the last second," said Hermione.
"Oh really," said Harry, darkly.
Alex held up his hands in a defensive manner.
"Look, I'll do them later today. Promise," he said as Harry suddenly appeared behind him.
The auburn teen jumped, "Wha – How in Merlin's name did you do that?!"
Harry simply pulled Alex's ear, dragging him from the table and out from the Great Hall.
Ron dropped his fork and Hermione's eyes widened while Sora and Eileen were giggling.
"He does the same thing to Draco and Sally if they don't finish their assignments," said Sora before looking at Ron. "If you like, I can help you, but I'm not as good as Sevie."
Ron sighed, "Let's get this over with."
Sora giggled and followed the two Gryffindors to their tower.
During their walk, Eileen was telling them how mommy would pull daddy's ear as well.
