Part 23
"Hey guys, not to be a downer or anything, but we just let the guy who, last I checked, almost killed us," William articulated, sounding upbeat but then furious at the end as the rest of the group, except for Gumball, realized this mistake.
"Where's he going again?" Gumball asked.
"Breaker going back to Franklin Jr High. Most likely, he will get back with more friends and will kill us." Carmen responded, worried, placing her hands on her chest.
"But Aphrodite's there," Gumball exclaimed. The team immediately glared at him.
"Hold on, what's your little sister doing at that school?" Darrel looked at Gumball.
"I...told her to call in sick. Because I assumed they would be attacking us again so, I sent her to destroy Franklin Jr High on the inside." Gumball is not looking at them.
"I thought you were incapable of lying?" Ocho asked.
"It wasn't a lie. She did have a cough." Gumball enunciated.
"Why didn't you tell us they would be attacking again?" Clare asked, shrugged her arms.
"As I said before, I was unsure when they would attack, but I didn't want her to be in danger of another attack."
"So let me get this straight: you told your little sister to lie about being sick and sent her into that dangerous environment all by herself?" Carrie asked as she placed her hands on her hips, sounding annoyed.
"Yes, but recall that all of you, excluding Clare, went behind me to spy on Carmen about how she was faking her reform," Gumball replies after narrowing his eyes.
"The difference is we, as in mostly William's idea, were concerned for you," Carrie said after getting a glare from William.
"Can we please stay on topic, Gumball? What were you thinking about bringing her alone? She could gotten killed or, worse, turned into one of them?" Clare asked, raising an eyebrow.
The camera zooms in on Gumball's face. At first, he doesn't react. Then it zooms out and back in again, and this time, Gumball's eyebrows are raised. But the camera zooms out again and then zooms back in, and this time, it finally dawns on him what he did. After being informed that Aphrodite is in danger, it finally hits him that she is in danger. You can see his pupils shrink and his eyes grow large as he realizes the situation. "APHRODITE!" Gumball sprinted so swiftly that he left frozen marks on the ground as he sped by.
"Come on, we gotta go after him." Carmen, William, Darrel, Carrie, and Clare were about to go after him, but Darrel stopped them.
"Wait? He and that Bleu guy are going to Franklin Jr High. Why don't we teleport to that school?" Ocho says, clearly pointing to Carrie.
"Why are you cutting to me?" Carrie confused.
"Carrie, you teleported us outta the Cafe before that red guy axed us." Ocho.
"I don't know where the school is, plus I was panicking then." Carrie.
"I know where the school is, and it's near the roller rink around HowsaboutISlapYaAve." Carmen.
"...that can't be a real street name." Carrie
"It's a real street name." Clare pulls out her phone and shows Carrie the place on Elmore Map.
"Ugh, whatever, guys, get close to me." Carrie sounded reluctant. The kids huddled together, and Carrie teleported just as the Franklin staff were about to attack.
"Huh, where did they go?" Magneto looks around to find them.
"They just disappeared?" Nadel confessed.
"Damn it; Those brats teleported Moreau. Going to have our heads for this." Funke is panicking.
"YOU IDIOTS, They're heading back to Franklin Jr High! Go after them!" Moreau shouts at the eight as they teleport to the school, except for Kreisel, who looks down on the ground to see some tracks on the fly.
"Kreisel, are you disobeying me!" Moreau's threatening tone.
"Boss, I'm going after the big prize, the blue little brat who ruined our plans. I'm going to show him he can't stop the top." Kreisel then transforms into a humanoid robot with an overall black body, an orange helmet shaped like a spinning top, an orange torso with a slight yellow area on the top center, white hands, white parts on his knees, and orange boots with small brown wheels on each of them.
Kreisel roller-blades to the highway. Moreau looks enraged. "Those fools won't get away with my plans to stop this cartoonish nonsense." He presses a button, and then the press box opens to reveal a small UFO ship that makes a bleeding sound that hurts the ears.
~On the Highway
Breaker is driving his fancy tricycle when he hears the sound of someone running fast. Then, he looks in his side mirror to see Gumball running fast after him. Gumball has a very determined and stoic look, runs faster than the vehicles on the road, and is catching up to Breaker.
"(Keith David) Stubborn Dick want round two, huh? Let's see if he has the GUTS to end me!" Breaker grabs a giant brick block the size of a garage and throws it at Gumball, who dodges them the first. He moves to the left, jumps off the second one, and smashes the tried one, but there are five bombs behind the smash boulder, which explode on his face, causing smoke to appear.
"Sorry to drop the bomb on you." Breaker laughs but sees glowing eyes from the mist and jumps before the tricycle. Then Breaker electrocutes the Cabbit, but Gumball takes the pain and smashes the tricycle's engine."This is a shock for you, but sorry you won't cut it." Breaker summons small roller scissors blades at Gumball, who gets slashed on him, but he is more focused on taking down Breaker, or this guy would hurt Aphrodite. Gumball slams his head at Breaker's head, causing him almost to lose the balance on his bike.
"That's it time to turn up the heat." Breaker then hits Gumball with a firewall, which gets Gumball off the bike and onto the road. "You're on thin ice." Breaker hits Gumball with an ice slash, freezing the Cabbit in a solid block with Gumball's expression of shock. Breaker feels a bit satisfied that he got Gumball out of his hair, thinking he would be shattered by any upcoming cars. "Finally, I got rid of that freak, but I'm gonna make that intruder my dog's new chew toy when I beat the rat to submission, hahaha."
Gumball's expression turns to rage, engulfing himself in the ice. When it breaks, Gumball is now wearing a strange suit light-colored suit, covering nearly all of Gumball's body except for a small opening at the back of his neck, allowing airflow. Its head bears two short cones positioned somewhat like cat ears. It has a spiral on its forehead, which, along with its cheeks, pushes a clear visor into a Y-shaped fork, showing only its eyes, nose, and mouth. Its feet stand on long blades in the style of ice skates. He stakes after him with ice trails, freezing anything behind him. Gumball runs faster than a train and chases up to Breaker in the blink of an eye.
Breaker expressed disbelief, exclaiming, "That's impossible. You must be making that up!" Out of nowhere, Gumball's left elbow collided with Breaker's face as he launched himself towards Breaker and the tricycle. In response, Breaker prepared to strike Gumball with his shield. Still, Gumball evaded by leveraging the shield as a springboard, skillfully landing like an ice skater before swiftly attacking the opposite side of the bike, leaving behind numerous scratches.
Breaker's powerful blast sends Gumball flying off his feet and his tricycle careening off the road and onto the train tracks. Gumball manages to grab hold of a warning sign and haul himself back onto the road. With a smug smile, Breaker believes he has emerged victorious by getting Gumball off his tail. However, his expression quickly turns to horror as he hears the loud sound of an oncoming bullet train bearing down on him. Before he can finish his sentence, the colossal train collides with Breaker with unstoppable force, killing him.
Gumball then starts stake running to Franklin Jr High."Even if he tried to get out of the way, I smashed the bike hard enough so he would escape. If he tried to use the gas, I broke his engine when I was on top of it, and I cut the brakes...the bullet train was just a coincidence, but I have to focus on rescuing Aphrodite." Gumball was focusing on the street until Kreisl grabbed behind him.
"Do you need a spin around town?" Kriesl then teleports him and Gumball, and they vanish from the street.
~Franklin Jr High
The world shifted around them in a kaleidoscope of color and noise—an instant of disorienting chaos that ended as abruptly as it began. Carrie stood at the forefront, her breath still ragged from the exertion of the spell that had transported her and her companions—Carmen, Clare, Darrel, Ocho, and William—to the crumbling steps of Franklin Jr. High. The once-proud school loomed before them, a decaying monument to what was, at best, a bittersweet past. The air around them hung heavy with the scent of mildew and neglect, the silence pressing in like the stillness before a storm.
Carrie gazed at the rundown facade, her heart sinking as she took in the broken windows, the graffiti-streaked walls, and the eerie quiet that seemed to echo through the deserted corridors beyond. The place that had once been filled with the innocent energy of schoolchildren was now an empty shell, its very bones groaning under the weight of abandonment.
"They referred to our school as a disease? This place is a complete wreck," William's voice cut through the stillness. His tone betrayed a mix of disdain and something else - a bitterness perhaps, that this place, once a beacon of learning, had fallen so low.
Carmen surveyed the scene with concern, and her eyes widened with worry. Her mind raced back to the days when the school had been her sanctuary—a place of laughter and discovery. Now, it felt as if the very soul of the school had been torn out, leaving behind only a husk.
"Oh no," she whispered, the words barely escaping her lips.
Beside her, Clare stepped closer, her hand gently brushing against Carmen's arm in a gesture of comfort. "William, perhaps she has distressing memories associated with this place. It would be better if you were more considerate," she murmured, her voice low and soothing, a quiet reprimand aimed at softening the edges of William's bluntness.
William shrugged, his expression unreadable. "Sensitivity is my brother's forte, not mine," he retorted, though there was no malice in his words, just a simple statement of fact.
Carmen looked at the eerie sight before them: eight corpses, their lifeless bodies arranged with grotesque precision to form a macabre welcome sign at the entrance. She swallowed hard, forcing herself to see past the horror to the hope that had once filled these halls. "It's not that the school was always in such a state. Your school is making progress. I can see that," she said, her voice tinged with a desperate kind of optimism, though her eyes betrayed her sorrow.
Darrel's gaze lingered on the bodies, his expression inscrutable. "Aphrodite made her mark here," he remarked, his tone as neutral as if he were commenting on the weather.
Carrie's lips twisted into a sardonic smile as the dark humor of the situation was not lost on her. "What gave it away? Was it Gumball telling us she was here or that the arranged corpses have become ornaments?" she quipped, her voice laced with a bitter edge that matched the scene before them.
Ocho, who is usually the first to dive enthusiastically into any challenge, stared at the bodies with something like disappointment. "Aww, man. The little rat didn't save any of us. I wanted a challenge," he muttered, although his words hung like bad omens.
Suddenly, a piercing sound shattered the uneasy calm, slicing through the silence like a knife. It was a scream—high-pitched, filled with terror, and followed by the unmistakable roar of a chainsaw. The sound reverberated through the air, setting their nerves on edge and pulling them back to the grim reality of their situation.
Clare's face drained of color."She's inside the school, isn't she?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper, the question hanging between them like a dark cloud.
Carmen glares at her with fury. "If we don't stop them now, they'll continue this behavior for at least ten more times. I'm going to confront these corrupt adults right away," Carmen declares as she cracks her knuckles and strides purposefully into the school.
Ocho doesn't hesitate to agree with Carmen, and he bolts toward the school with a reckless whoop, his feet pounding against the cracked pavement. "Well, it's time to go inside," he calls over his shoulder, disappearing into the darkness of the gaping doorway without a second thought. The rest of them stood frozen for a moment, feeling the weight of what lay ahead pressing down on them like a heavy fog. Then, one by one, they followed, stepping into the shadows of Franklin Jr. High, where the past, the present, and the nightmares awaited them in the darkened halls.
~Inside the Franklin School
As the six kids made their way down the school halls, they were met with a scene of destruction. Aphrodite's battle with the school security had taken its toll. The walls were torn, with fragments of the security system scattered about. The broken drinking fountains bore marks of the altercation, while the lockers lay crushed and the doors of the classrooms were broken. Shards of shattered glass from the windows littered the floor, adding to the chaos.
"(In Thought)Oh my god, I feel like the first victim in a horror movie." Clare is horrified as she walks further down.
"Awesome/Lame." Carrie and Willaim said in union. Carrie, with a deadpan expression, and Willaim's eye glows with excitement.
"Aww, man, I wanted some." Ocho is disappointed that most of the goons are dead.
"Aphrodite usually has a trail of blood and screams of victims wherever she goes." Darrel is not surprised by this carnage.
"Camen, aren't you a bit worried about this?! " Clare looks at Carmen, but the cactus shrugs it off.
"This was a regular Tuesday back when I went into this dump." Carmen continues to walk while wrapping her hands with bandages.
"What is wrong with all of you!?"Clare shouts at them, but they all give her a confused look as they talk simultaneously.
"I see stuff like this all the time. I've gotten used to madness."Carrie
"Trust me, I've done worse than this."Ocho
"This is normal kid behavior, by my standards." Carmen
"Have you forgotten how weird our town is, Clare?" Darrel
"I'm just glad to be here with you guys." William
Clare sighed, doing her regular mopey look. "Uhh, I forgot I'm in a town filled with freaks. Why can't this day end? I really wanna go home to write in my journal." Clare mumbled those words until an alarm was heard, causing her to jump and go behind the other as they heard someone talking through the speakers.
"You finally arrived back at your former school, you ungrateful delinquent!"Principal Funke shouts at the mike.
"What do you want, you pixelated pussy?"Carmen shouted at one of the cameras.
"I want revenge. You ruined this school's reputation. That's why we got Moreau to change it into one of perfection. You could've been part of it, but no, you forced us to kick you out; then you went to that trash school and got that rotten Tartarus Gang to destroy our elite student council, murdered our student body, and killed by precious boy Etah. He only wanted you to be his girlfriend. Yet, you ripped his heart out, then incinerated him like he was trash!" Funke sounds like he is sobbing, but neither Carmen nor the other six kids care.
"Oh please, if your school was so perfect, why did you hire Moreau to fix it? The answer for that was you were so lousy at your job running it that even Nigel Brown would call you out on your incompetence and tell you to grow a spine. Bty, your son was a goddamn creep. He kept slaking, then tried to kiss me when he wanted to ask me out. After that rejection, he got every student in your school to bully me until I fought back, and I was eventually expelled. Then he and his friends tried to murder us. After that, you and Bald Burro wanted to murder me and kidnapped my friends!" Carmen shouts at the monitors, which enraged Funke.
"HOW DARE YOU MOCK MY DEAD BOY! THAT'S IT TIME FOR YOUR BRATS TO LEARN SOME DISCIPLINE!" Funke then hits the alarm, and six androids, the teaching staff of the Franklin school, appear.
Nadel is a humanoid robot with a Luft-type design. He has a black body, red eyes, yellow eyelids, a blue torso where his face is located in the center of it, three spikes on top of his head, a red gem on the center of his torso, blue pauldrons, a white area on the center of his lower torso, a blue part body on the bottom of his body, two busters on each arm and blue boots.
Schatten appears to be a ninja or shinobi. She has a black body, red eyes, a blue helmet with a large ninja star on the front top, a blue torso with a white area in the middle, white spherical shoulders, blue hands, a yellow lining between the torso and the legs, white knee pads, and white feet.
The next is Schlange, who has a robot with a snake motif. He has a black body, red eyes, a helmet modeled like a snake, green-white armor, white pauldrons, a white left hand, a green bracer on his left arm, a green buster on his right arm, and white boots with a green diamond shape on each front of them.
Magnete has a black body with a yellow area on the middle front, green eyes, a red helmet with a magnet on the top front, a red torso, white arms, white hands, and red boots with white rectangular parts on the middle front.
Hart is a sturdy humanoid robot with a blue helmet, a blue torso with a yellow orb on the front, a blue shoulder pad, black arms, gray hands, black legs, and a blue humanoid robot.
Zwillinge has a black body, red eyes, a light blue helmet with four-pointed decorative on the top front, a mirroring decorative on his front torso, a white hand on her left arm, a white arm cannon on her right arm, yellow lining between her torso and legs, and light blue feet.
"Geez, you send your flunkies to do your battle. You're just as much a pussy as Kopie, you Gilipollas!" Carmen.
"Also, where's Aphrodite, jerkface." William points in anger with his wing.
"So that's little rat's name. R011 captured the vermin, though you see before you, she damaged our entire facility and destroyed Moreau's office, so we can't fix her...yet. But after I repair Breaker, I will beat this little rat to a pulp until she begs for mercy. Also, if you're wondering where our Jaintor is, Kreisel is taking out the Watterson trash, and as we speak, he will take his head and PUT IT ON MY WALL!" Funke shouts in his office with Moreau, using his laptop and starting repairs on Breaker. Aphrodite looks damaged and is tied up as R011's tail is wrapped around her, and the albino rat looks furious.
Carmen furiously hears this, fires up, and attacks the Franklin staff and the other six kids with her. During this time, all of them are forced to split up, causing them to fight in different places in the school. Carmen fights Nadel at the councilor's office, Carrie fights Zwillinge in the library, Clare fights Schlange in the school vents, Darrel fights Schatten in a homeroom, Ocho fights Magnete in the lunchroom, and William fights Hart in the gymnasium.
William is in the gym where he's now in the boxing ring, confused as Hart cracks his knuckles as he prepares to fight William."(Confused) Okay, how did this happen!?" William also has his wings up, but his pupil gets smaller as he looks up at the man bigger than him.
~Elmore Roller Rink
Kreisel and Gumball arrived at the roller rink, which paid vibrant homage to the late '80s and early '90s retro aesthetics. With a swift motion, Kreisel propelled Gumball onto the roller rink floor, causing his ice suit to disintegrate instantly. Only the ice skates on his feet remained intact. The resounding noise of shattering glass echoed through the rink as the suit fragmented into pieces.
"Well, I guess it's my lucky day. I get to give the leader of that trouble-making Tartarus gang who ruined our plans the beating down he deserves." Kreisel snaps his finger, and two giant robot black cats appear behind him.
Gumball gets up on the perfectly balanced rink."Where is Franklin Jr High?" Gumball doesn't care what he says.
"It's just right next door. Wait, why am I telling you this? " Kreisel questions him.
"Because I asked," Gumball said bluntly.
"Oh, a wise guy, huh? Well, guess what, rink? "These black cats here are bad luck. When you cross their path, you'll feel their wrath." Kreisel then sends the black cats after Gumball.
As the Cabbit glides around the rink, the relentless cats pursue him, their claws poised to strike. He evades their every move with remarkable grace, skillfully crafting a path of ice in his wake.
Gumball continued to dodge the two cat mechas as he mused. "You know, there's a superstition about how cats have nine lives?"
"Why do you ask such an odd question? You afraid that your luck just ran out?" Kreisel scoffs at this.
"No, I ask if you believe that to be true?" Gumball still dodges the Mecha cats, who continue to chase him.
"Of course I do. With two cats after you, they have double the lives. You better give up 'cause We're going to mess up you and your buddies when they break you down." Kreisel smirks with a smug smile.
Gumball then stops dodging the robot cats. He uses the ice to go up in the air as the two mecha cats slip on the ice and crash into each other. he falls with style and, with his ice skates, slashes both mecha cats in half, causing them to explode."Nope, cats only got one life like everyone else."
"Heh heh heh... This was the luckiest day I ever had. Not only have you swiftly killed my cats, but now I finally have a worthy dance opponent. Things are finally happening. I get to kill you with my skills!" Kreisel then takes a stance.
"You know, people say that seven is the luckiest number. But the Vietnamese believe that number is unlikely, like 13. Besides 13, there were other numbers considered unlucky. 17, 43, 39, 9, and of course, the most unfortunate number of them all...4. " Gumball shows his open paw as the number four.
"What makes you believe that's the worst bad luck number?" Kreisel smiled and asked.
"Because that's how many hits it'll take to bring you down," Gumball said as he narrowed his eyes. He opens his claws, covered in ice, and holds a fighting stance.
Kreisel laughs his threat off as he starts spinning like a top. "THIS DANCE FIGHT WILL BE LEGENDARY!"
~Cant Stop The Top
As Kriesel stood at the top of the arena, the surroundings transformed into a colossal, sleek, bowl-shaped ice rink. He glided away on his skates with a mighty push, skillfully utilizing the rink's contours to build momentum. Suddenly, a flurry of spinning tops emanated from his body, aiming directly at Gumball and swiftly maneuvering toward Kriesel. The Cabbit swiftly evaded the spinning tops but was caught off guard when Kriesel's spinning form struck him in the face. As the confrontation unfolded, Kriesel relentlessly pressed his advantage, launching an unrelenting assault on Gumball, who was forced into a defensive stance. Each impact left a shimmering ice trail as Kriesel assailed Gumball from all directions.
"Your chances of hitting me are dwindling," Kreisel taunted as he skillfully dodged each of Gumball's attacks. With each dodge, Kreisel seemed to gain confidence. "I evade your strikes as I continue to spin, and my new strategy is about to unfold. I am at the peak of my game." As Kreisel taunted Gumball by chanting, "Don't shoot me, I'm dancing," he swiftly evaded Gumball's attacks, but in his overconfidence, he overlooked an important detail.
"Can't stop the top... ah!" Kreisel then slips on the ice, face first. Gumball uses this opportunity to hit him by jumping and slashing his face down to his chest. The top man screams as Gumball jumps up, does a 360, and lands above the roller rink.
Kreisel screams in pain as he tries to recover, but he starts to whine even more. "Ow, ow, ow! You little brat, I'll make you bleed for hurting my beautiful face!" Gumball ignores him as the Cabbit takes off his shoes. Kreisel tries to get up in pain, but Gumball holds his sneakers, and his face is annoyed. He blows on his feet, making ice stakes on them.
"What? You think you can win just because you took your shoes off?" Kreisel looks at the Cabbit, who is looking down on him literally as Gumball is outside the roller rink and Kreisl is at the bottom.
"Yes, because I'm done playing with you." Gumball drops his shoes, and when they land on the rink, they cause a crater, causing multiple cracks on the rink, causing the ground to shake. Kriesel almost loses his balance, shocked about what was inside his shoes that caused such an impact.
Then Gumball runs so fast that he looks like a blur going around the rink. Kriesel starts to panic as he begins to spin to counterattack. Gumball appears right before him just as he starts to spin, then punches him in the gut so hard that he is sent to the wall, back and forth around the rink like a pinball game, using his ice to manipulate his speed against him and using the icicles like pinball handles while Gumball himself is standing in the center of the rink. After a few minutes, Gumball slides to the right just as Kreisel is about to come right at him, then stomps on his legs, crushing them and causing him to fall.
"You think you won just because you beat me, Kreisel, one of the eight Moreau chose to be the ones on top? We will write history. Our plan to crown a mighty new nation is just the beginning!" Kriesel sees a gumball next to him.
"You're right. This is the beginning."The Cabbit, with his claws out, stabs Kreisel through the mouth, deep down his throat.
"Of the end for you." Gumball then rips Kiresls head off along with his spine, killing him instantly as his decapitated body falls. Gumball keeps Kriesel's severed head attached to his spine as a weapon. He jumps from the rink to get his shoes. In retrospect, he could've taken them off sooner to take out the Breaker, but he didn't think of it then.
As he walks outside, he closes the roller rink door, but the place collapses, probably due to earlier fights. The Cabbit then looks at the alleyway, the same one where he meets Carmen, but right now, he has to focus on saving Aphrodite as he looks up to see Franklin Jr High with its school looking like a skull(which no one notices at the time) with lighting appearing for dramatic effect. Gumball puts his shoes back and runs towards the school that starts the whole mess and plans to finish them once and for all.
