Chapter 3:
At Andy and Robert's house in the morning, Andy woke to her 5:00 am alarm and also crying from her youngest daughter Aubree. Andy went into Aubree's nursey to breastfeed her and change her diaper afterward. Andy changed Aubree into her onesie that say I am so proud to be firefighter's daughter and black legging and baby sock. Robert went wake up the oldest kids for school and daycare. Robert brought Aiden, Rosalyn, Zach, and Alexis downstair to start breakfast. Robert put Alexis into her high chair and give her some cheerio and her sippy cup of milk. Aiden and Rosa help Robert with breakfast and they make blueberries pancakes and turkey bacon. Andy brought Aubree downstairs after finished getting ready for the day of work and she put Aubree in her swing so she can eat breakfast with her older kids. Robert gives Andy a good morning kiss and hug.
Aiden," who is picking us up from school if you are at work."
Andy said," you and Rosa will get pick up with your cousins Derek Bailey and Ellie by Derek or Meredith and you will go to their house for the night." Aiden and Rosa both jump and smile and they always have fun with their favorite aunt and uncle. Robert was cleaning up Zach and Alexis with the help from Andy for daycare.
Robert," Aiden and Rosa go and get your shoes and backpack, your mom will take you to school with Aubree and I will drop Zach, Alexis to the hospital daycare." Andy put Aubree in her car seat with her pacifier and blanket. Aiden and Rosa will stand by the front door and wait for their mom. Andy pick up Aubree's car seat and walk out with her two oldest kids Aiden and Rosa and head to her SUV to hand to their school then to her fire station. Andy put Aubree's car seat in her base between Car seat for Alexis and where Rosa is sitting in her booster car seat. Aiden got into the third row seat in his booster car seat with his backpack. Robert put Rosa in her booster car seat and help her buckle up and give her kiss on forehead. Andy and Robert kiss goodbye and told him that she will see him at the fire station with Aubree. Robert put Zach into his car seat behind the driver's seat and buckle him up and he put Alexis in her car seat behind the passenger seat and buckle her up. Robert put the diaper bag for Alexis and Zach's backpack on the passenger seat. Robert got into the driver seat and drove to Grey Sloan Hospital where both Alexis and Zach goes to daycare when they are working unit one of them or aunts/uncles are done working for the daycare. Andy head to the local private school where Aiden and Rosa both goes. When Robert that parking spot and got out the double stroller and he got Zach out the car and into the front seat of the stroller and then he get Alexis out the car and into the back seat of the stroller and he put Zach and Alexis's bags under the stroller. Robert spotted Derek with Lelia and Lilly, Ariana, Veronica going into the hospital and he wave at him to wait for them. Derek stop at the front door of the hospital to wait for Robert and his kids. Both Derek and Robert load their kids into elevator to head to daycare for the day.
Derek said," Hey Robert, so Meredith will pick Aiden and Rosa when she is done at 3:00pm and bring them to the hospital daycare unit 6:00pm then Aiden, Rosa, Zach, and Alexis are spending the night at house unit you and Andy get off of work at 7:00am right."
Robert said," yes that is right if ok with you and Meredith."
Derek said," that's fine because Meredith and I have off of work on Saturday and we can have breakfast ready for you and Andy."
Robert said," thanks see you on Saturday." Robert and Derek walk into the daycare with Zach, Alexis Sullivan, Lelia, Lilly, Ariana, and Veronica Shepherd and they sign their respectful kids in at the daycare. Zach quickly hug his dad and ran to play with his best friends Liam Ripley and Brooklyn Tanner.
Alexis said," Dada don't go and I want to go with you."
Robert said," Alexis, you will have fun time here with your friends Carter and Scout, Ariana then you have sleepover at Auntie Mer and Uncle Derek's house with your cousins and siblings." Alexis walk over to Carter and Scout, Ariana and start playing with dolls and trucks especially firetruck.
Robert finally left the daycare after saying goodbye to Derek and head to his Suv and head to the fire station. When he get to the fire station and he arrive at the same time Andy arrive Aubree. Robert quickly grab his overnight bag and he went to get Aubree out of her car seat to help Andy by carrying Aubree and the diaper bag for Aubree. Robert and Andy walk into the Station 19 with Aubree. Andy put down her overnight bag into her bunk room and changed into her uniform and went the beanery to hang out with her friends and her husband and daughter for breakfast before line up for the days. Robert was sitting at the beanery table with Aubree on his lap by Lucas and Alena enjoy breakfast with the team. Andy went to get breakfast quickly.
After breakfast, Andy call for line up, Vic and Ben was on AidCar, Jack, Dean, and Maya was on Ladder truck while Travis, Kyle, and Donald and also Andy was on engine. Andy told her teammates that they four kindergarten classes from Saint Andrews school and they are be here in 10 mins. Rosa and Ellie's class were the first ones to come and tour the fire station.
Rosa said," my mom and dad are greatest fire fighters ever and is that right Ellie." Ellie nod to Rosa's question as Andy and Robert just smile and laugh at their daughter and niece said. Maya and Ben gives Rosa and Ellie's class a tour of the fire station. At 11:30pm, Rosa and Ellie left with their class to head back to the school for lunch. Then, at 12:00pm, the next kindergarten class that have Hazel, Victor, Harlow, Pippa, Kenna, and Molly came to tour the fire station and the tour was given by Robert and Andy and the class left to go back to the school. Then, at 1:00pm the next kindergarten class that Megan, Joselyn, Natalie, Harriett, and Jordyn so they can tour the fire station and the tour was giving by Kyle and Travis, and Chief Ripley too and the class left to get back to school.
Back at the hospital, Meredith was head into surgery before she goes to the daycare to breastfeed Veronica at lunch time. Derek page Meredith to his office and she went to the chief's office.
Derek said," Hey Mer, who are getting the kids at 3:00pm from school with Andy and Robert's kids too."
Meredith said," I will go after my last surgery of the day if it's goes smoothly without problems." Derek quickly peck Meredith's lips and he told good luck on her next big surgery. At Noon, Derek and Meredith went to the daycare, to spend time with their daughters before going back to work. Leila ran into her dad's arms. Meredith went to breastfeed in the breastfeed room that they have at the daycare. At 1:30pm, Derek was paged to Er for consult and Meredith went do pre-round before her surgery at 2:00pm.
At 2:30pm, Meredith has just finished her surgery in time get her kids and niece and nephew from school. Meredith quickly change back into her sweater and jean. Meredith arrived at Saint Andrews' school to pick Her oldest kids Zola, Bailey, and Ellie, her nephew Aiden and niece Rosa and bring them back to the hospital daycare unit 6pm. In 6 mins later, Meredith arrive back at the hospital and park into her own personal parking spot. Meredith got Ellie and Rosa out of her SUV and hand both of them their backpack so they can do their homework either in Derek's office or at daycare. Bailey and Aiden got out of Bailey's mom's Suv with their backpack. Zola got out the passenger seat with her backpack. Meredith grab each Ellie and Rosa's hand and walk with them into the hospital lobby.
Meredith said," Zola, Bailey, Aiden, Ellie, and Rosa , you have two opinions that's you can do your homework in uncle Derek or dad's office and hang out in there or do your homework at home and hang out in the daycare with your siblings and cousin unit 6pm."
Zola said," I want to hang out in dad's office and do my homework in there and hang out in there."
Bailey Said," I want to hangout in dad's office and I don't have any homework together."
Aiden said," I want to hangout in Uncle Derek's office and I also don't have homework tonight Aunt Mer."
Ellie said," I want to hang out at daycare and I don't have any homework like always."
Rosa said," I want to hang out at the daycare and I also don't have any homework and I miss my daddy and mommy."
Meredith said," I know you do Rosa but when we get home tonight and you can call them before you go to bed."
Rosa said," Ok Auntie Mer."
Meredith went to take Ellie and Rosa to daycare for 3 hours while Zola take her brother and cousin to her dad's office to hang out with him while he does paperworks. Meredith quickly sign both Rosa and Ellie into the daycare and talk to the daycare teacher. Ellie and Rosa went to play with their other friends Hazel and Kenna. Meredith went to check on Veronica if she need to be feed but she doesn't need to eat yet and she is taking a nap for now. Meredith got paged to do a consult in the pit for head injury by Owen.
Meredith ran down to the pit and she saw Cristina with bad cut on her head and Owen need back up so Cristina is being to stubbornness so he can fix her forehead up.
Owen said," thanks god, you are here and Cristina got push into med cart and cut her head on the corner and she is refuse to have a head CT and she say that she need to get back to work and I know she will listen you or Derek and she also have request that she want to see Leo and Alison before get fix up." Teddy came back into the trauma room with Alison and Leo as Cristina ask her to do. Leo ran up to his mom and hug and try climb on her hospital bed and hug her so tight. Meredith finally got Cristina to get Head CT and everything turn out just fine but Derek made Owen take Cristina and their kids home right and gives them the next 3 days off of works to spend time as a family. Owen and Cristina went to changed out of their scrubs into their other clothes and they went to get Leo and Alison and head home to spend time with the kids and each other.
At 6:00pm, Derek and Meredith went to attending locker room and change into their clothes and head to the daycare to get their youngest kids and nieces and nephews. They arrive at the daycare and Lelia and Lilly ran right into Derek's arms with their cousin Zach.
Meredith said," We are here to get Elle, Rosa, Lelia, Lilly, Zach, Ariana, Alexis, and Veronica." Meredith to get Lelia, Lilly, Zach, Ariana, Alexis, and Veronica's backpack/ diaper bags. Meredith pick up Veronica and Alexis while Derek pick Ariana and Lilly while Zach, Elle, Rosa, and Lelia fellow Derek and Meredith to Derek's office to get Zola, Bailey, and Aiden from his office. Derek got Zach and Lelia in their car seat in his car then he got Rosa and Elle in their booster car seat. Zola got into the passenger seat of her dad's car with her backpack. Derek put the kids backpack in the trunk of his car. Derek put Ariana in her carseat in Meredith's car then he help Lilly to get in her car seat by Aiden. Meredith put Alexis in her car seat on the other side of Aiden. Derek put Veronica in her carseat in the same row with Ariana and Bailey. Aiden got into his seats between his sister Alexis and cousin Lilly. Bailey got into his seat between his two little sister Ariana and Veronica. Meredith give a quick kiss to Derek before she get in the driver's seat and buckled up and head home. Derek got into the driver's seat and buckled up and head after Meredith.
In 15 mins later, Derek and Meredith arrived home with their kids and nieces and nephews. Derek brought Alexis and Ariana into the house and put them down and took off their shoes and coats. Zach, Lelia, and Lilly went into the house with Aiden and Bailey and they all took their coats and shoes off. Zola brought Rosa and Elle into the house and help them take off their shoes and coats and then she took off her shoes and coat. Meredith brought Veronica into the house with the diaper bag and her work bag. Meredith put Veronica into her pack n play with some of her toys so she help Derek with Dinner for the kids and themself. Zola brought Bailey, Aiden, Rosa, Elle, Zach, Lelia, Lilly, Alexis and Ariana to the playroom so they can play before dinner. Derek and Meredith decide to make spaghetti for dinner with cheesy Toast and a salad.
In 10 mins later, Meredith went to get the kids while Derek set the table and he also put Veronica in her high chair. Zola, Bailey, Aiden, Rosa, Elle got into their seat with their plates and cup of milk. Meredith help Zach, Lelia, Lilly, Ariana, and Alexis in their booster chairs and gives them their plates and sippy cups. Meredith got into her seat at one end of the table with her plate and cup of water. Derek got into his seat at the other end of the table with his plate and cup of milk. After dinner, Meredith and Derek decide to let the kids watch a movie before bed.
Rosa asked her aunt if she can call her dad and mom before she goes to bed. Meredith called Andy and Robert so their kids can say good night to their parent and baby sister Aubree. Derek brought sleepy Ariana and Alexis to Ariana's bedroom and changed both their diapers and also changed into their pjs and lay both of them down in Ariana's cribs. Bailey and Aiden went to Bailey's bedroom and changed into their pjs and brush their teeth. Aiden got on the bottom bunk bed and went to bed. Bailey got on the top bunk bed and went to bed. Zola went to her bedroom and changed into her pjs and decide to ride one of her neurosurgery book that her dad give to her before bed.
Derek brought Zach, Lelia, and Lilly to Lelia and Lilly's bedroom to get them ready for bed and he changed Lelia, Lilly, and Zach into their pjs and help them brush their teeth. Leila got on the top bunk with her favorite blanket and stuffed bear dress as doctor. Lilly got on the bottom bunk with her favorite blanket and stuffed cat. Zach got on the trundled bed with his favorite firetruck and stuffed bear dress as firefighter. Rosa and Elle went to Elle's bedroom and got changed into their pjs and got into Elle's bed with their favorite blanket and stuffed bear dress as doctor for Elle and Firefighter for Rosa.
Meredith went to Veronica and changed her diaper and also changed her into her pjs and breastfed her and rock her to sleep and lay her down in her crib. Meredith and Derek went to their bed to get ready for bed. Meredith went to her bathroom and took a shower and changed into one of Derek's college shirt and her purple Pjs pant and brush her teeth and went to her side of bed and lay down. Derek went to the bathroom and got into the shower and got Columbia Med school shirt and blue plaid pjs pants and brush his teeth and went to his side of bed and lay down and cuddling with Meredith and they went to bed.
Back at Station 19, Andy went to Robert's office where Aubree were at when she went on a call with her team to house fire. Andy and Robert got a call from Meredith because their oldest kids Aiden, Rosa, Zach, and Alexis want to say goodnight to their parents and baby sister. Andy breastfeed Aubree in Robert's bunk with the door close just in case Ripley or another co-worker came to talk to Robert about work. Andy changed Aubree's diaper and also changed her into her pjs and lay her down in the pack n play in Robert's bunk room. Andy told Robert that she is going to her office to get paperwork done.
Robert told Andy that Meredith and Derek are making us breakfast when we pick up Aiden, Rosa, Zach, and Alexis tomorrow from their house after shift. Andy quickly kiss Robert goodnight and she went to her office to work on shift's papers so she can leave in the morning so she can go and see her oldest kids and sister, nieces, nephew, brother in-law.
Maya and Vic decide to make quickly dinner for themselves and they went to their bunk and went to sleep. Lucas toke Alena home after they had pick Maddie, Victor, Liam, Bella from his sister's house and they had dinner and calls Vic to say good night and they went to bed.
In the morning, Andy quickly got up and got changed out of her work uniform and went up to Robert's office so she can feed Aubree before they have to leave. Robert quickly changed out of his work uniform and gives a quick good morning kiss to Andy. Andy got Aubree changed into her new diaper and outfits. Andy and Robert went up to beanery to say goodbye to their team and then tell the team that they can go home to their family since B Shift is already here to take over. Robert carry Aubree's diaper bags and his overnight bags and Andy overnight bags to his cars put them in the trunk because they are going to leave Andy's car at fire station so Ripley can take back to their house for them.
Andy carry Aubree to Robert's car and put her in her car seat and buckled up and give her pacifier to her and cover her with her blanket. Andy got into the passenger seat and buckled up. Robert got into the driver's seat and bucked up and start the car and head to his sister and brother in law's house to get their kids and breakfast.
Andy told Robert that her mom and stepdad will be there for breakfast and her sister Molly and her kids, Lexi and Mark and their kids will be there for breakfast. Robert is happy to get to talk to Mark and Derek.
Robert said," Maybe Derek, Mark and I can go down to Derek's private lake to fish with Bentley, Bailey, and Aiden for a while." Andy said,'' I think the older boys will love to spend their dad and uncles but Zach will want to go too so you have to take him too." After 16 mins later, Robert pull into Derek and Meredith's driveway and park behind Elena and Thatcher's car. Robert got Aubree out of her car seat and carry her into her aunt and uncle's house.
Andy got out of the car and head into the house behind Robert. Elena got Aubree out of Robert's arm and she cuddle with her second youngest granddaughter while she sit by her husband who was holding her youngest granddaughter Carly. Rosa and Alexis ran into their daddy's arm when they had saw him in the living room. Aiden and Zach went to say hi to their parents and then went back to play with their cousin in the playroom. Andy saw that Alexis didn't leave Robert since they got here but she didn't say anything. Robert nudged Alexis to say hi to mom. Alexis went to give hug to her mommy but she quickly went back into Robert's arms cuddled with her dad.
Derek said," Robert, I have feeling you will have fun time with Alexis when we take the boys fishing after breakfast and I have feeling that we have to bring Ariana and Alexis, and Max with us fishing."
Robert said," I know and I also have that feeling to Derek and this happened every time I get back home from 24 hours shift of work and we most likely to bring Alexis, Ariana, and Max with us to go fishing with the boys." After breakfast, Robert, Derek, Mark and even Thatcher went to Derek's lake with Aiden, Zach, Alexis, Bailey, Ariana, Bentley, Max, and Mason for while. Andy decide to chat with her sisters and mom when the kids are playing in the playroom.
Meredith heard the doorbell and she went to answer the door while holding Veronica and when she open the door and its Michelle and Sandra with tears in their eyes and Meredith let them in the house and lend them into her living with Andy, Lexi, Molly, and Elena were at. Michelle went to sent by Lexi and Molly while Sandra went sit by her sister. Meredith decide to let Sandra hold Veronica to make her smile again. Lexi let Michelle hold Carly so she can be happy again. Meredith sat back down by her aunt Sandra and give her a side hug.
Elena said," Hey sis, what's wrong and where is Johnny?"
Sandra said," Johnny has been been cheating on me for almost 7 months with a nurse and her name is Rose from Pacific Northwest General Hospital and I found it when I went thought his phone and found her phone number and they have been having a affairs every time he have "business meeting near where she is working." Meredith, Lexi, Andy, Molly, and Elena were shock when Sandra told about Johnny having an affair with Rose.
Meredith said," I know Rose because she used to work at Grey Sloan Hospital and she try to make move on Derek when I was 4th year resident when we was married and I saw it and Derek told her off and she was fired after Derek told about the harassment that she did to him and she also try hit me with her car."
Elena said," Sandra, you and Michelle can come and stay at Thatcher and I's house for as long as you guys needs if you wants."
Meredith offered to give Sandra and Michelle her childhood home next door to her mom and dad's house because its has been empty since Maggie and Winston got married and move into Winston's house near by. Sandra told Meredith that she will take the house. Michelle and Sandra both hug Meredith and thanks her for help them getting a new house to move into and away from Johnny.
In 1 hours later, Derek, Mark, Robert, Thatcher came back with Bentley, Bailey, Aiden, Zach, Max, Alexis, and Ariana. Meredith and Andy, Lexi, Elena told their husbands what Sandra and Michelle told them what Johnny did to Sandra.
Mark and Lexi told their family that they have to drop off Sofia at her moms' house soon. Sofia and her siblings says goodbye to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins with hugs. Mark brought Faith and Max to their SUV and get them into their carseats and buckled up. Lexi brought Carly to their car seat and get her to her carseat and buckled her up. Sloane brought her little sisters and brother to their SUV and they got into their carseat for Josie and seats and buckled up. Mark got into the driver seat and buckled up. Lexie got into the driver seat and buckled up. Mark and Lexi head to Callie and Arizona's house so they can drop off Sofia for their weeks with her.
Back to Meredith and Derek's house, Molly told her family that she have get her kids because her boyfriend Andrew are coming over for dinner. Laura and her siblings say goodbye to their grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins with hugs. Molly brought Bella to her SUV and put her in her carseat buckled her up. Laura brought her sisters and brother to their SUV and they got into their carseat for Natalie and Scarlett and their seat and buckled up. Molly got into the driver seat and buckled up and drive to her house where Andrew is already waiting for her. Molly park her car in her driveway and she got out of the car. Scarlett, Natalie and Mason got out of the car and ran to house where Andrew is at and hug him. Laura help Bella out of the car and she brought her little sister to the house so they can say hi and gives hug to Andrew. Molly went to greet her boyfriend and kiss him.
Mason say Ewww mom and Andrew. Andrew and Molly laugh at what her son has said. Molly lock the door and let her kids and Andrew who was holding Bella who was clingy to him. Molly went to the kitchen to start dinner with the help from Laura and Scarlett. Andrew went to the family room with Mason, Natalie, and Bella to watch a movie before dinner.
Back at Meredith and Derek's house. Andy and Robert told their family that they have to get their kids home so they do their homework and get ready for bed. Aiden and his siblings say goodbye to their grandparents, aunts, uncle, cousins by hugs. Robert brought Zach and Alexis to their SUV and got them into their car seats and buckled them up. Andy brought Aubree to their SUV and put her into her carseat and buckled her up with her pacifier and blanket. Robert brought the backpacks, diaper bags to their SUV and he put the bags in a back of the SUV. Rosa and Aiden went to their SUV and they got into their carseat for Rosa and seat and buckled up. Andy got into the passenger seat and buckled up. Robert got into the Driver seat and buckled up and start the car and drove home.
Back at Meredith and Derek's house, Meredith hand Sandra and Michelle the keys to their new house and new beginning to their new life without Johnny. Michelle gives goodbye hugs to her aunt and Uncle, cousins. She got into her mom's car and buckled up. Sandra gives hugs to her sister and brother in law, niece and nephew and great nieces and nephew. Sandra got into the driver seat and buckled up and start the car and drove to their new house on Harper Lane St. Sandra park her car in the drive at Meredith's old house and got her suitcases out of Trunk with the help from Michelle and they brought their stuffs into the house. Michelle brought her suitcases to one of the guest room and unpack. Sandra brought her suitcases to the master bedroom and unpack. Sandra was so happy to have Meredith as her niece and have her help her during the hard part in her life.
Back at Meredith and Derek's house, Elena told Meredith that she is so proud of her for offered Sandra and Michelle her old house and she is so proud to have her as daughter. Thatcher and Elena gives hugs goodbye to their daughter, son in law, grandkids. Elena got into passenger seat and buckled up. Thatcher got into the driver seat and buckled up and they drove home.
