Chapter 9:
2 months later, At Owen and Cristina's house, Owen just got off the phone with teddy and he slam down his phone on the kitchen's island. Cristina has just entering the kitchen with Alison in her arm for breakfast before work. Cristina put Alison into her highchair and she give her sippy cup of milk and bowl of cereal and cut up banana.
Leo ran into the kitchen and Owen put Leo in booster high chair on the bar stool next to Cristina and give him his sippy cup of apple juice and plate of cut up Waffle and bacon and also cut up strawberries. Cristina is packing Leo's lunch for preschool and Alison's lunch for daycare. Cristina told Owen that they need talk privately in their office about why he almost broke his phone today. Owen fellow Cristina into the office and close door little bit. Evelyn is with the kids while they are eating breakfast.
Cristina said," What did teddy did now?"
Owen said," She just told me that she is moving to New York City for job offer at New York General hospital in 3 weeks and she also told that she not even fighting me to bring Alison with her and Tom."
Cristina was shock by what Owen told about Teddy just leaving Alison behind to fellow Tom and her career to a job and she never will do that again.
Cristina said," what are we going to do with custody of Alison with teddy?"
Owen said," I thinking that we can fight for Alison live with us all the time but Teddy can see her when she can and what do you feel about filing for full sole custody of Alison so teddy can take her to new York."
Cristina said," I think that we should talk to your lawyer about full custody of Alison because Alison deserve the best and not move away from us and Leo." Cristina and Owen left the office and they went back into the kitchen so they get the kids ready for daycare. Owen got Leo out of his booster high chair and help him to put on his shoes. Cristina got Alison out of her high chair and put her shoes. Owen told Cristina that he made appointment with the lawyer for 5:00pm to talk about the custody of Alison.
Cristina grab her work bag and Alison's backpack while she is holding Alison and she bring them to Owen's truck and she put Alison into there her carseat behind the passenger seat. Cristina put Alison's backpack between her and Leo's car seat. Cristina got into the passenger seat and buckled up with her work bag and purse.
Owen brought Leo and his work bag and Leo's backpack and lock the front door. Owen help Leo into his car seat behind the driver's seat and buckled him up and he put Leo's backpack and his workbag between Alison and his carseat. Owen got into driver's seat and buckled and start his truck and drive to the hospital.
In 15 mins later, Owen got to the hospital and park into his parking spot. Owen turn off his truck and got out of the truck and he help Leo out of the truck and help Leo to put his backpack on his back and grab Leo's hand. Cristina got out of the truck and she grab Alison and Alison's backpack and her work bag/purse and walk to where Owen is waiting for them.
Cristina and Owen walk into the hospital and they walk right by Teddy and Tom who was waving at them so they can talk to them about Alison but Owen and Cristina just walk right by them and brought their kids to daycare and they went to the attending locker room. Cristina page Meredith to her office and tell her what is going on with Her and Owen and teddy problem with Alison. When Meredith arrive in Cristina's office and sat down on her couch by Cristina.
Meredith said," What's wrong Cris?"
Cristina said," Teddy is moving to New York for a new job with Tom in 3 months and she is not taking Alison with her and she is just abandon her for her fiancé who hate her daughter and Owen and I are fighting for Sole Custody of Alison and I wondering if you and Derek will testified in court for us." Meredith was shock what Cristina told her about Alison.
Meredith said," Derek and I will be honor to testified for you and Owen so Alison stay in Seattle with you and Owen and her big brother Leo and her friends especially Ariana and Alexis." Meredith give hug to Cristina and told its will be ok and its will work out for her and Owen and the kids.
At Lunch time, Owen and Cristina went down to daycare to eat with Leo and Alison like they told the kids but they were shock that they saw Teddy and Tom eating with Alison. Alison got off of her mom's lap and she ran to Cristina and hug her legs.
Cristina bend down and pick up Alison while Owen pick up Leo and they decide to eat in Owen's office instead in daycare because they don't want to see Teddy or Tom for right now. Owen and Cristina brought Leo and Alison to Owen's office and eat their lunch together. Teddy came into Owen's office and start to yell at Owen for not letting her spend time with her daughter at lunch time.
Teddy," How Dare you take my daughter and won't let me spend some time with her at lunch time."
Owen said," I can't look at you and Tom right now because I don't know you because you will leave your daughter for your fiancé and new job across the Country and newsflash that Cristina and I will be filing for sole custody of Alison today so she can stay stay in Seattle with her family minus her mom."
Teddy said," Fine, I will fight for Alison's love and joint custody of her too, I am the better parent than." Teddy left Owen's office with tear and not looking at her daughter who was crying in Cristina's arm. Cristina just let Alison snuggle with her unit Alison has finally fell asleep in Cristina's arms. Owen lift Alison out of Cristina's arms and lay Alison in the pack n play that Owen have in his office for Alison when he does have surgery at 2pm and before he go into surgery that he will bring Leo and Alison back to the daycare.
Cristina got page from Maggie for extra hand in OR 1 right away. Cristina quickly give Owen a kiss and rush down to OR 1 to help out Maggie. Around 1:30pm Owen brought Leo and Alison back to daycare so he can get ready for his surgery. Owen grab Leo's hand and pick up Alison and made the way back to the daycare re check them in. Leo went to play with his best friend Liam and Bella before story time. Owen hand Alison to one of her daycare teacher so she lay her down for a nap. Owen went to OR 2 for his surgery with Meredith.
At 4:30pm, Cristina just got done with her surgery with Maggie and she went to Owen's office to wait for him to get done check on his patient from his surgery and while she wait for Owen, she quickly text Megan and Nathan to see if they can watch Leo and Alison at 5pm so Owen and her can meet with their lawyer for filing for sole custody of Alison. Megan and Nathan told Cristina that they have to both work the night shift at their hospital so they can.
Cristina ask Evelyn if she can watch Leo and Alison at 5pm so Owen and her can meet with their lawyer for filing for sole custody of Alison so teddy won't take her to New York with her and Tom in 6 months. Evelyn told Cristina that she will love to watch Leo and Alison for Owen and her and she is already watching Matthew for Megan and Riggs. Owen ran into his office quickly change out of his scrub and into his clothes brought from home. Owen told Cristina that Maggie is doing Charting for me so we will be late for the meeting with our lawyers. Cristina and Owen down to the daycare and sign out Leo and Alison.
Owen pick Leo's backpack and Alison's backpack and grab Leo's hand. Alison ran to Cristina and ask her to pick her up and Cristina bend down and pick up Allison and she give Alison a kiss on her cheeks.
Owen and Cristina walk out to their car and they pass by Teddy and Tom in main lobby, Teddy try to talk to Owen but Owen and Cristina just walk right by them out of the hospital to their car.
Owen help Leo in his car seat and help him buckled up. Cristina put Alison in her car seat and buckled her up and hand her blanket and pacifier to her. Owen put Leo's backpack and Alison's backpack behind Leo and Alison. Cristina got in the passenger with her purse and work bag and buckled up. Owen got into the driver's seat and buckled up and start to the car and he drive to his mom's house to drop off Alison and Leo so she can watch them while Cristina and Owen can meet with their lawyer to filed for Sole custody of Alison.
Owen got Leo and Alison out of the car with their bags and quickly run them to Evelyn's house and he thanks his mom for watching the kids for a hour. Owen went back to the car and got back in the driver's seat and head to his lawyer's office so he and Cristina talk to their lawyer about filed for Sole Custody so Alison can stay in Seattle with them and her big brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins, best friends.
At the Lawyer's office, Owen park the car into parking spot and turn off his truck and got out of the driver's seat and went over to passenger side of the truck to open Cristina's door for her. Cristina got of Owen's truck with her purse and grab Owen's hands and walk into the lawyer's office.
Owen said," hey, we are to see Collin Hunter for a meeting about child custody for our 1 year old daughter Alison Hunt." Collin came out of his office and come and get Owen and Cristina and they went back into Collin's office.
Collin said," why are you guys for sole custody of Alison Altman Hunt?"
Owen said," My wife and I are filing for sole custody of our daughter Alison Hunt because my Ex-wife Teddy and her fiancé are moving to out of Washington and we want to make sure that they won't leave the state with Alison because right now, we have Joint custody of Alison since our divorce for almost 2 years and Alison has been staying at our house almost all of the time and teddy is barley spending time with Alison since Cristina and I got married, Alison doesn't want to spend time with Tom because he try to get Alison call him dada but she don't feel safe with him."
Collin said, I will filed the paper for Sole custody for Alison Altman Hunt and the paper will say that Owen will have physical custody that mean that Alison will full time with you and Cristina and you make all of the decisions for Alison and Teddy will get visitation without Tom and will have paid child support $1,000 per month."
Owen signs the new custody paper so his lawyer can filed them right aways. Cristina and Owen say thanks to Colin and they will in contact with him. Owen and Cristina walk out Collin's office and to their truck so they can go and get their kids from Evelyn's house so they get home for their bedtime and bath time and dinner.
Cristina got into passenger seat with her purse and buckled up. Owen got into the driver's seat and buckled up and start the car and head to his mom's house to pick their kids and then they will head home.
In 10 mins later, Owen pull up to his mom's house and Cristin got out of the truck and ran into her mother in-law's house to get her kids and bring them back to the car with their backpacks. Owen got out of the truck and help Leo in his carseat and help Leo buckled and hand Leo's blanket to him.
Cristina put Alison in her carseat and buckled and give her blanket and pacifier to Alison. Cristina put Alison and Leo's backpack between their car seats. Cristina and Owen got back into the truck and they head home for quick dinner and bedtime and bath time for the kids.
In 3 mins later, Owen park his car into the garage and turn off the car. Owen got out of the truck and help Leo out of the truck and grab his backpack and Alison's backpack. Owen brought Leo into the house and get start with dinner. Cristina got Alison out of her car seat and grab her backpack and her work bag/purse and bring Alison and their bags into the house.
Cristina took Alison's shoes off and told her to go into the family and play with Leo unit dinner is ready. Alison ran into the family to play with her big brother unit dinner. Cristina unpack Alison's backpack and lunch box and she did the same for Leo. Owen just finish dinner and put it on the dining table. Cristina put Alison in her highchair that is between where Owen and her are sitting at the table. Owen put Leo in his booster high chair on his left side of the table.
After dinner, Cristina took Alison out of her high chair and she brought Alison up to the kids' bathroom and got her into the bath. Owen brought Leo up to his and Cristina's bathroom for bath. Cristina brought Alison into her nursey and lay her down on her changing table and change her into her diaper and Cinderella nightgown and lay her down in her crib with her pacifier and her favorite Princess blanket and teddy bear dress alike doctor.
Owen brought Leo into his bedroom and change him into his doctor pjs set and lay him down into his bed with his army print blanket and his teddy bear dress alike a army soldier. Cristina and Owen went into their bedroom and got ready for bed because they both have early surgery at 7:00 am at the same time.
