Chapter twenty-five: Alisia's shock
Retsu's POV~
A small incision. When I saw where the shard was, I needed to cut it out. I gently cut the muscle so I could get the shard and Isane dabbed the blood. The I.V.'s were all hooked up including the transfusions, was ready. I got to the shard, which was embedded in her left lung. I took it out."I will have it examined. Lieutenant, hand me the vial, I need to put this in." I ordered.
During the last part of the operation, Alisia went into a bad shock. "Quick send an infusion of reiatsu into her heart, and Isane go wait with your family now." I ordered her knowing this must be affecting her deeply. I set my reiatsu about her to begin the infusion.
"Damn quickly captain we are losing her! Captain Kuchiki will have my ass if she dies!" My lieutenant groaned loudly. Her globulin is low I need to keep her transfusion going. I quickly began the reiatsu infusion and I heard footsteps and three sets of reiatsu joined mine. I looked up to see Captain Ginrei Kuchiki (Alisia's grandfather) Captain Juushiro Ukitake and Captain Shunsui Kyouraku trying to help me.
"Come on Alisia stay with us, you can do it!" Encouraged her grandfather. Juushiro and Shunsui, our fellow co-workers and good friends trying to help because they care about her too.
Alisia's memory~
7 yrs old~
At the third division~
Alisia was in the garden holding her knees trying not to cry. She sniffled and wiped her eyes. "I miss them, I miss my mommy and my daddy." She whispered to herself. The footsteps sounded into the garden. She looked up and had some tears going down her cheeks. "Rose-nii." She choked as she rubbed away her tears. Rose smiled sadly as he came over and sat beside her. "You know they are gonna be reborn now right? They will always be apart of you though. They live on in your heart Alisia." He pulled her close and gave her a hug.
She nodded softly and hugged Rose. "Rose-nii I feel like it's my fault though, that they died." She told him in a sob. He shushed and rocked her back and forth. "Never blame yourself Alisia, they died to save you. They loved you." He promised her.
~End of the memory flashback~
Reader's POV~
As they finally stabilized Alisia they tried to wake her. "She won't wake. We will have to keep her on support til she gets some what better." Retsu explained to the others.
