chapter 27: Toshiro takes on more responsibily, alisia 10 years into coma pt 1

Toshiro's POV~

It's been 10 years since what happened. I also learned that I am the head of a long-lost noble family. Alisia is still in a coma. Yukihana is still a toddler because we souls age slowly compared to humans. Alisia is still in a coma but is stable. We have no idea when she will wake, but captain Unohana has hope, after all she is a stubborn Kuchiki. I chuckled as I thought about what she said. "Alisia will fight, she is alot like Byakuya, stubborn and willful. I'll let you know if anything changes." I remember Alisia is strong. I was broken out of my thoughts by Yukihana tugging on my pants. "What's up Yuki chan?" she pointed at my picture of Alisia and I at grannies over the weekend just 2 weeks before everything happened.

" I know that's Alisia chan, she will meet you soon. Who knows maybe she will wake up soon." I bounced Yuki up and down. She giggled and tugged on my hair. "alisia chan wakey wakey." I chuckled at her. I hope so Yuki. I really hope so. Then we left to go visit granny.

Reader's POV~

It was busy but also quiet in seretei. IT had been 10 years, but it was still raw they lost 4 captains, 1 vice commander, and 3 lieutenants, as well as 1 captain Kisuke Urahara was banished from soul society, and kido commander Tessai Tsukubishi as well. Yoruichi Shihoiuen was mia. Byakuya had finished the shinoreijutsuien academy and now is 4th seat in squad 6. Gin Ichimaru is 3rd seat, but strong. Isshin Shiba took over squad 10, and took Rangiku as his 3rd seat. It was still chaotic in the soul society. Aizen is a traitor but the thirteen court guard squads have no idea. Captain Yamamoto is still the head captain and still oblivious.

Anyways the captains looked out their windows and some rolled their eyes, some sighed. It was somewhat boring and now theirs a captain meeting. "well lets get this over with. Probably just another update meeting for the squads." Complained Soi Feng as she walked out the door. She hated she was left behind. She don't know what happened to her old mentor, but now she was bitter. Marenoshin had retired 3 years ago, now his slob of a son, Marechyo has taken the position of lieutenant of squad two. Soi Feng thought what a lazy son of a bitch. But she was dealing with other stuff so she let it pass for now. She had a meeting and she could not be late.

Juushiro sighed as he got up from his desk, and looked at the clock in the corner of his office. It was what the humans called a grandfather clock, very nice. "I guess I better get going I'm the farthest from squad one. Unless Shunsui is at his hide spot no four. Ugh I better go get him." Juushiro flash stepped away, knowing Nanao might have trouble getting him up to go to meeting.

Shunsui Kyouraku had no patience with anything these last ten years. He lost his lieutenant, many friends. He still had his niece but she didn't even know her family history. There was a kido that locked it all away, plus he had her zanpakuto. Her mother had been executed for something that was so stupid and he wanted to keep her safe. "Captain there is a meeting you need to get to." Nanao pushed her glasses up. She was still small but so serious. "Nanao chan stop being so serious you need to loosen up. Otherwise you will get stressed. " Shunsui said as he walked out the door. Juushiro caught up with him. "Good your not at one of your hide spots, let's go." Shunsui pouted at his best friend.

Ginrei Kuchiki looked up as he heard the gong go off, meaning there was a meeting in 10 minutes. "Byakuya I leave you in charge there is a captains meeting, I will let you know what I can when I return." He strolled out leaving his lieutenant in charge. Byakuya stood after his grandfather left. " I wonder if there is an update on my sister Alisia? I hope if there is , it's a positive one." Ginrei happened to think the same thing. "Been ten years since I seen my granddaughter awake, smiling, and having fun. I hope she wakes soon." He flash stepped to squad one.

#rd squad had no captain, Lieutenant Chikane Iba was acting captain so she went to the captain meetings until a new captain was appointed. "I cant believe it has been ten years, feels like yesterday I was kicking the captains butt." She grinned as she flash stepped to squad one. "Soon my son will be taking over the lieutenants position hopefully we will have one by then." She laughed thinking bout it.

Not a big update , its in two parts though. I am back guys. Hopefully I will be able to get a new laptop. At this point no captain for squad 3 or 7. Sajin hasn't taken the captain exam yet. And Gin well he doesnt become captain until after Rukia graduates. I hope you enjoy.
