The Great Fox
On the bridge of the mother ship of the Star Fox squadron, the Great Fox, Fox Mccloud was being debriefed by a rabbit hare general in a red military uniform about his latest mission.
"We thank you for quelling the insurrection at Katina, Fox. If it weren't for you and your team, our boys stationed on the planet would have been annihilated." Said the general from a large screen in front of the bridge.
"Saving lives and protecting the Lylat System is what we do, General Peppy. Gratitude isn't necessary." Replied Fox.
"Yet I'm curious though about your new friends. The robots that transform into vehicles?" Peppy said.
"Yeah, there's gonna be a lot of questions to ask when we get back to Corneria. They said they are willing to cooperate. And they are at the hanger right now." Said Fox.
"Well I'm gonna let you go now, Fox. I got some things that need my attention here. Peppy out." Said the hare before the screen went blank.
Fox then heard the door open behind him and saw Krystal walk up to him.
"Everything alright Krystal?" Asked Fox.
"The Aerialbots are willing to talk but are waiting for you." Responded the blue vixen.
"Ok. I'm coming." Replied Fox as he and Krystal walked out of the bridge doors holding hands.
Meanwhile, the Aerialbots and the rest of Star Fox were waiting on Fox and Krystal so they can start talking about where the Aerialbots came from. One Aerialbot in particular was getting rather impatient.
"How much longer is this gonna take?" Asked AirRaid.
"Well Fox always needs to be debriefed after every mission but he should be done by now, uh, Air Raid, right?" Asked Falco.
"Yup that's my name. I'm the close quarters guy. I fight bad guys because it's fun." Replied Air Raid.
"Up close and personal, huh? I love to fight too. We should hang out more often." Said Falco.
The exit doors in the hanger opened and everyone looked over and saw Fox and Krystal coming in.
"Look who finally showed up." Falco said.
"Alright. We are all here. Can you tell us who you are and why you crash landed in our system?" Asked Fox.
"I can't tell you everything, but I'll explain simply." Replied Silverbolt.
"Fair enough. Go on." Said Fox
"We are autonomous mechanical organisms from the planet Cybertron. We left our world because we are in a civil war with the evil Decepticons. We lost so many friends and loved ones to the atrocities committed by our enemies, not to mention our planet died as well. We were sent to Katina by our leader Optimus Prime and are awaiting further orders." Said Silverbolt as he and the other aerialbots bowed their heads in sorrow.
"You lost your home world? Loved ones? I'm so sorry. I know what it is like to suffer such a tragedy." Said Krystal with a tear rolling down her cheek and Fox putting his hand on her shoulder for comfort.
It's true. Krystal's home planet, Cerinia along with her people, were annihilated, making her the last of her kind.
"I'm afraid however we could be intercepted by Decepticon Seekers sent to hunt down fleeing Autobots like us." Said a concerned Silverbolt.
Just then, the ship shook and the alarms started blaring.
"Fox! Twelve unidentified hostiles are attacking the Great Fox!" Said ROB over the intercom, Star Fox's robotic operator of the Great Fox.
"Star Fox, to the Arwings!" Fox commanded as he and the rest of Star Fox got into their Arwings and shoot out of the hanger doors into space to confront the intruders.
"AerialBots, transform and fly out!" Shouted Silverbolt as he and the rest of the Aerialbots transformed into their jet modes and shot out into space and joined their friends in combat.
As both teams shot out of the Great Fox, they are met with twelve Decepticon Seekers in a horizontal line in front of the Great Fox. Three of them transformed into their robot forms. One was blue, one was red and the third was white. They're heads are cone shaped.
"Shit! Seekers! Exactly what I was afraid of!" Exclaimed Silverbolt.
"Autobots! Surrender yourselves and those little vermin won't be obliterated!" Shouted the white Seeker.
"The fuck he just called us!?" Yelled Falco.
"Calm down, Falco!" Shouted Fox.
"Orders Fox?" Asked Slippy.
"Split into teams of two. I'm with Silverbolt." Commanded Fox.
"I agree with Fox, guys. Slingshot, you're with Slippy." Said Silverbolt.
"Falco, you're with Air Raid. Krystal, you're paired with Skydive." Said Fox.
"Fireflight, stay with the mothership. Protect it." Commanded Silverbolt.
"Let's rock and roll, guys!" Shouted Fox as he and everyone else started to engage the enemy.
Slingshot chased down one Seeker, continually fired at it in frustration as he cannot seem to hit it.
"Stay still you damn Con!" Yelled Slingshot.
After a few minutes, he finally managed to destroy his target. Slingshot let out a triumphant cry but suddenly heard Slippy calling for help.
"Get these two buckets of scrap off of me!" Shouted the panicking Toad as two Seekers were chasing and shooting at him.
"Really?" Questioned an annoyed Slingshot as he flew in to help his partner.
Slingshot managed to blast one Seeker alerting the second and taking evasive action. Slippy flew back beside Slingshot and nodded at him.
"Let's take him down together" Said Slingshot as he and Slippy began shooting at their target.
After several seconds they finally hit and destroyed the Seeker.
"Thanks, Slingshot!" Said Slippy.
"Don't mention it." Replied Slingshot.
Krystal and Skydive engaged four Seekers. They were rather hard to hit. But then Skydive had an idea.
"Krystal, retreat and follow me." Said Skydive
Krystal thought why for a second and her eyes widened when she read his thoughts. She smiled and flew beside the Autobot. Soon all four Seekers chased them. The two then separate causing two Seekers each to chase them. The pair then started to fly towards each other but at the last second, they dropped down and made the Seekers crashed into each other, obliterating them!
"Excellent strategy, Skydive." Said Krystal.
"Thank you, I am the Aerial Bot's strategist after all." Skydive chuckled.
Falco and Air Raid were having a more easier time than the others. In fact they were having fun. They were fighting two Seekers. Falco was in a dog fight with one of them when it decided to transform into its robot form. It fired missiles from a rocket launcher on its arm at Falco.
"Oh no you don't!" Shouted Falco before he did a barrel roll to deflect the missiles back at the Seeker, scrapping it.
"Yahoo!" Shouted a victorious Falco.
Meanwhile Air Raid transformed into his robot mode when the second Seeker flew right at him. But the Autobot grabbed it and threw it at a small nearby asteroid smashing it to pieces.
"Hell yeah! I can do this all day!" Shouted Air Raid.
"You and me both, buddy." Falco said smiling.
Only three Seekers remained and were battling Fox and Silverbolt.
"Careful Fox! These Decepticons are fierce and deadly!" Warned Silverbolt.
"I've been through worse, Silverbolt." Said Fox.
Fox was then assaulted by a barrage of laser fire by the red cone headed seeker.
"Tremble before the might of Thrust!" Said the Decepticon.
Thrust then transformed into his robot form and fired a barrage of missiles at the Star Fox leader. But Fox was ready this time. Right before the missiles could hit him, Fox barrel rolled all of them back to the red Seeker sending off an explosion that severely damaged the decepticon.
"Thrust, you idiot! I'll handle this myself!" Shouted the white cone head.
The decepticon flew at Fox at a high speed and rammed him sending the Arwing flying. Luckily, Fox managed to get control of his starfighter a moment later.
"Fox! Damn you, Ramjet!" Silverbolt yelled before he was punched in the face by the blue cone head.
"Wait your turn, Autobot." Said the decepticon.
"Oh you are about to get yours, Dirge." Replied Silverbolt.
Silverbolt dodged a hook from Dirge and countered with a knee to the abdomen and followed with a punched combined with a laser shot, wounding the Seeker. The Autobot turned his attention to Ramjet who is about to fire a missile to finish off Fox! Silverbolt pulled out his own rocket launcher and fired a missile at the Seeker. Fox followed by sending a smart bomb straight at Ramjet, causing a huge explosion and ending his life!
"Thanks Bolt. You don't mind if I call you Bolt, do you?" Asked Fox.
"Not at all, my friend. Are you all right?" Asked Silverbolt.
"Yeah. Just a scratch. Everyone report in!" Ordered Fox.
"Slippy here I'm a ok." Answered Slippy.
"I'm all good!" Said Falco.
"Everything is fine!" Said Krystal.
"All systems normal." Said Slingshot.
"I'm still functional." Replied Skydive.
"Still in one piece." Answered Air Raid.
"Not a scratch!" Said Fireflight.
The two remaining Decepticons, Dirge and Thrust regained consciousness and managed to rise up. The Aerial bots and Star Fox looked over at them.
This isn't over! Autobots and your vermin allies! Megatron will here of this and annihilate you all!" Thrust said as he and Dirge transformed into their jet modes and fled.
"Let them go. They are no longer a threat." Said Silverbolt.
"But Silverbolt. He mentioned Megatron. Who is this Megatron anyway?" Asked Fox.
Silverbolt was silent for a moment before he answered.
"Optimus will answer all your questions. But now we must return to your ship and journey to Corneria until Optimus contacts us." Replied Silverbolt.
"Ok, have it your way." Said Fox as everyone flew back to the Great Fox.
"I'm sure everyone else has been intercepted, and I'm confident they survived. But how long until Optimus Prime contacts us? Hopefully not that long. Decepticon interceptors will put innocent beings in danger and our presence alone have brought the war to this Lylat System! I hope the other group has reunited by now. Oh Primus, I'm sure Optimus will know what to do when the war moves to the other worlds, other galaxies." Thought Silverbolt.
And that's that! What a space battle! The Aerialbots and Star Fox defeated the Decepticon pursuers and got to know each other a little. But what of the other Autobots? What of Optimus Prime? Or worse, the Decepticons?
