Aoyama Yuga snuggled against his mothers' shoulder as they walked. His daddy said that they were going to meet a very important person and he should be on his best behavior. His daddy even said that he might even be a hero…

…which he felt had been nothing more than a pipe dream.

Nobody knew that he was quirkless; there was never a need for anyone to know because of how the world was now, but he did hear talks that people muttered.

He broke out of his thoughts when he heard a door close. He looked up to see a white animal beckoning them in with a warm smile.

"Ah, the Aoyamas. Please come in." His daddy nodded and wrapping his arm around his wife, came through the door. Yuga hugged his mom tighter as he observed this Mr. Nezu.

The animal smiled at him, walking closer, "Am I a bear or am I a mouse? You decide." He giggled. Mr. Nezu smiled back, turning towards his parents. His smile turned into a serious frown as he talked.

"This is between me and any families who come in here. Do NOT tell anyone what I'm telling you now. Understand?" His father and mother nodded, mirroring the expression. Nezu picked up a tablet and held it to them.

Yuga saw a boy about his age in a barricaded room…a room filled with zombies! His parents looked shellshocked; his daddy looked like he wanted to run to the clinic and save that little kid! But…the zombies weren't acting hungry or viscous.

In fact, the little kid was sitting in a blond zombies' lap, dozing. His head was against his chest and he was playing with the zombies' fingers. The zombie was looking down at the child with a gentle look…how, he didn't know, but he was. Other zombies were communicating with the blond zombie, but they made no move on the child.

"This little boy is Izuku Midoriya. Like your son, he is quirkless." Both of his parents looked up from the tablet to Mr. Nezu. The bipedal animal smiled gently, "He's been living with them for the past few weeks and none of them made a move on the child. We believe it has something to do with him being quirkless. And we-"

"You want to turn my son into a guinea pig?! Absolutely not!"

"Honey-"

"No, Shinetsu! I'm not putting my baby in there!"

Yuga looked up, "Mama?"

His mother picked him up, "We're leaving."

Her husband placed a hand on her shoulder, "Dear. This could bring the world back to how it was, making it safe for Yuga. And you saw Izuku being there-the other zombies were protective of him. This could give Yuga more protection in a roundabout way."

Marie stood in silence, quivering. Finally she looked up, her blue eyes blazing at Nezu. "You get him out of there the second there's trouble."

Nezu nodded.

Yuga stood in front of the barricaded door, Aizawa right beside him. There was a little window where he can see inside. When you go through the door, there was a little raised platform in the middle of the room. The platform had four posts on each corner. When someone touches them from the outside or inside, an invisible electric shield is shown for a few seconds in between the posts.

No one could deactivate it except for the Number One Hero and Nezu.

The door opened, causing all of the attention of the zombies to lock onto him.

"Hi!" Yuga looked up to see Izuku Midoriya waving to him.

"H-Hello…" Izuku got up from the blond zombie and walked closer.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya!"

"Yuga Aoyama." Slow, staggering footsteps walked closer, causing him to turn. A floating, bloody uniform was getting closer to him. Her shoes were torn and the buckle on one of them were unfastened, already bitten.

Aizawa activated his Erasure.

Yuga gasped. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.

Her eyes were bloodshot like a regular zombie, but her eyes were still a mix of blue and purple.

And her hair!

Her hair looked like rainbows!

He giggled and walked closer. The zombie girl stopped, tilting her head in curiosity.

"You're pretty!" He held his arms up to her, "Uppies!"

Aizawa widened his eyes in alarm, already walking forward to stop the kid when a beep occurred, closing the door. He looked up, "Nezu, what-?!"

"It's alright, Mr. Aizawa. Look." Aizawa looked through the window in the hall to see that the girl zombie had already picked up Yuga, balancing the boy on her hip. She had turned towards Kacchan, giving him a questioning grunt. He grunted back, giving her a jerky nod.

The girl staggered back to the group, holding Yuga close. She got down on the ground, sitting across from Kacchan. Both of them watched their respective charges playing with each other, giggling at the chuffs and purrs from the other zombies.

Yuga was now officially adopted into the 1-A zombie family.
