Willow and Giles were struggling to close the Hellmouth the Sisterhood of the Jhe demons had managed to open as Buffy, Faith and Angel fought the demons themselves, the reversal spell was taking so much energy, more than she could manage and it hurt. She was desperately afraid they might not be able to close it. Suddenly a red energy ball blasted passed her and she turned her head to see Xander and Cordelia standing by the door, Cordelia was holding a lethal looking sword and had blood on her hands. Willow stared as Xander rose up into the air gathering red energy in his hands and flinging it at the Hellmouth Guardian as Cordelia threw herself into the fight against the demons, moving faster and more powerfully then Buffy and Faith and tearing through the demons with a deadly intensity that was shocking to see.

"Xander! What are you doing?!" Willow demanded.

"What's it look like, Willow?" Xander flung the red Eldritch energy balls as fast as he could, the eerie screaming from the creature was terrifying. He supposed they'd been lucky, not even landing in dinosaur world had brought them anywhere near dying. But sooner or later, luck always ran out and now they were facing a serious threat to this world and these versions of their friends.

And one had already died.

"Since when do you do Magic?!" Buffy yelled, having spotted him as well. "We were under the impression you couldn't do any Magic!"

"Where'd you get that idea?" The Eldritch energy balls weren't enough and they sure as Hell weren't closing the damn thing. Draining it's energy wouldn't close it either, Xander frantically ran through the spells he knew trying to find one that might close the damn thing.

"Let the risks all now be ending, let the blade fly to its heir! And in Dyzakk's Cage unbending shall the villain drift forever!"

Xander called out the spell and a yellow cage appeared around the creature, trapping it. "That should hold it, now to get the damn Hellmouth closed!" He set down on the floor and strode forward. "You were trying a spell when we came in, any luck?"

"It's taking more energy than I can manage." Willow told him, wondering where the Hell he got the power he was throwing around so casually.

"Tell me it!" Xander ordered. "We're on borrowed time as it is, we need to finish this!"

Willow told him and he grabbed her hand and she grabbed Giles'.

"Recite it together!" Xander ordered. "Let's close the damn thing up!" The three Magic users recited the spell together and the caged creature sank down as the Hellmouth began to close. The noise the creature was making was abruptly cut off as the Hellmouth slammed shut and the three sagged, tired. Xander turned toward the fighters and saw Cordelia finish off the last demon, an ugly blue thing. "Cordy, you alright?"

"Physically." She answered, wiping at some sweat on her brow. "I'll get back to you on the rest later." She needed time to deal with seeing a dead Xander.

"What the Hell is going on?" Buffy demanded. "What do you two think you're doing? And how the Hell are you doing it? Xander cannot do Magic and Cordelia cannot fight, so how the Hell are you doing it?!"

"We're from another reality and I know at least one other version of myself that can do Magic too." Thinking of his counterpart that he'd given the second Dragonfang to and how the Magic doodad he'd given him had responded to him. "Stands to reason local me could have too, if he'd had the chance." He finished grimly.

"What do you mean, if he'd had the chance?" Giles asked.

"I mean we arrived just as he stopped Jack O'Toole from setting off a bomb in the boiler room downstairs and Jack deciding to gut him. Jack's currently secured in Magic chains my Xander put on him." Cordelia informed the horrified listeners. "If your Xander hadn't stopped the bomb, I imagine closing the Hellmouth would have been a lot harder."

"It likely would have killed us." Giles said numbly. "And with no one to finish the reversal spell, the Hellmouth would have remained open and demons would have overrun the Earth. Is this what he tried to tell me about earlier?"

"Or us?" Angel looked at Buffy. "Before you sent him away."

"I didn't want him to get hurt." Buffy protested weakly. "None of us thought he could do Magic."

"But he can use weapons right?" Xander asked. "Because I taught myself how to use an ax and a crossbow before I started doing Magic and our Buffy has taught me martial arts and how to use a sword."

"Never occured to me to teach him anything, but he can use an ax and crossbow too." Buffy admitted. "Or could. Is he really dead?"

"His body's on the floor outside the Library." Cordelia told her. "I carried it up here, I wasn't going to leave him in the same room as his murderer. I have a message from him for his Cordy and a message for someone named Faith."

"I'm Faith." Faith waved her hand. "Where the Hell did you learn to fight, Queenie? Cause damn, you're good."

"She can outfight a Slayer." Xander grinned half-heartedly. "She's Valkyrie and she carries Dragonfang."

"A Valkyrie?" Giles looked surprised. "Female warriors of Norse myth?"

"Something like that, we really don't have time to explain." Xander told them. "We need to find Dawn."

"Who?" Buffy asked.

"Great, another reality were there's no Dawn, she's going to be so pissed." Xander shook his head as Cordelia drew Faith off to the side to deliver their Xander's message. "And Dawn would be Dawn Summers, your little sister in another reality, our home reality. One with superpowers of her own, she can create portals. Unfortunately, control is an issue, she can only generate portals to other realities currently and has just recently discovered she can portal in her sleep. Which is how she ended up here, in your reality. I've had to attach a magical tracker to her, so we can find her."

"Oh."
