The only unaccounted for dead bodies they found where another student's, one of those who ran with Jack O'Toole, who'd been shredded by a Jhe demon and Jack O'Toole himself. Unfortunately the still chained up Jack was being eaten by wolfOz, who being driven to it by the smell of Xander's blood, had broken out of the closet and was eating Jack. Giles tranqed him and once he was unconscious, Buffy picked him up and carried him to the book cage. Xander, meanwhile had spotted something on Jack's chest above the stomach area where wolfOz had been chewing on him.
"Well, it'll relieve Oz's mind that we can tell him he wasn't eating a living person." Xander pointed to the bullet holes on Jack's chest.
"Good lord, he may have been some sort of zombie." Giles stared, examining the holes himself. "Someone raised him not long after he died, but who? If someone's raising a zombie army, they need to be stopped."
"Other priorities right now, Giles." Willow scolded him. "We'll find the wanna be zombie king later, right now we need to find Xander's body!"
"Yes, quite." Giles apologized.
"We don't have time for this!" Xander muttered. "I'm calling in backup from our reality."
"Our speed demon can search all of Sunnydale faster than we can search the High School." Cordelia agreed.
"A demon?" Giles protested. "That's not a good idea."
"Not an actual demon, Giles." Xander shook his head, how had Willow failed to remember how literal Giles could be? "By speed demon we mean someone who can break the sound barrier when they run."
"You know someone who can do that?" For the first time that night Faith managed a grin. "Do all the people in your world have superpowers?"
"All the Scoobies do." Xander grinned back, less than full wattage as well, but still a grin. "Mrs. Summers has super Mom powers, not the same thing, but still amazing."
"Let's take this outside, Xander." Cordelia suggested. "It's night and while she's searching for Xander's body and Dawn, I can pay a visit to my counterpart and have a talk with her."
"Okay." Xander nodded and the others followed them outside where they watched Xander place two fingers of his right hand against a ring on his left and murmur. "Home." Willow frowned thoughtfully at the ring, something about Xander calling Cordelia Valkyrie had seemed familiar, the ring on Xander's finger did too. But what? An orange glow followed Xander's fingers and an opening appeared. Several people were on the other side, including other versions of her and Oz.
"We need backup." Xander's explained to his Scoobies. "Not Oz and Willow, it's full moon night here. Harmony, you ready?"
Harmony nodded and stepped through. Willow stared at the girl she thought was a vapid, brain dead bitch, no different from Cordelia and wondered just what the Hell she was doing being a Scooby in Xander's world. She half heard him explain the situation to the big chested blond, as Buffy rejoined them after having deposited Oz in the book cage. Wait, why would full moon night affect a version of her? 'Oh, don't tell me - I'm a werewolf in their reality?!'
"I'll find them. Nothing can catch me, Xander, you know that." Harmony smiled a brilliant smile and looked over her shoulder at Johnathan Levinson. "But I wouldn't mind a kiss for luck." Willow blinked and tried to make sense of the visual of Johnathan Levinson kissing Harmony Kendall and came up with null input. Maybe she'd hit her head at some point, because that would make more sense than what she was seeing. As she watched, Harmony's shoes changed to look like tennis shoes and a sudden gust of wind was all the warning they had as she zoomed off.
"Good lord!" Giles, of course.
"It's night and no one's going to notice me." Cordelia informed them. "It's Sunnydale after all." She pursed her lips and whistled and everyone was blinking again as a gorgeous white horse appeared in front her. With wings. Yep, definitely must have hit her head at some point because she was definitely hallucinating, Willow decided as Xander bent slightly and cupped his hands to give Cordelia a step up and onto the flying horse's back. With a powerful beat of its wings, it lifted off and took to the air.
"A Pegasus?!" Giles yelled. "Of course, what else would a bloody Valkyrie be riding!"
"The, not a. Like Slayer. Cordy's unique." Xander watched his girlfriend fly off on her Pegasus and then saw Willow's expression. "So have we managed to break your brain yet, Willow?" As another gust of wind heralded the return of Harmony holding a young preteen girl by the back of her head and neck. Oh, right, whiplash. Willow's brain might just be close to breaking after all, because this was just so damn surreal.
"Found our missing Dawnie." Harmony announced cheerfully. "She woke up in a crypt and had to defend herself by sending some demons to another reality, but she's scratch free." Dawn flung herself into Xander's arms.
"This portaling in my sleep thing is already old and it's only the second time it's happened!" Dawn snarled, clearly annoyed over the situation. She spotted her mother through the open portal. "Mom!" She darted through it and was swept up in her mother's arms.
"So, that's my sister in your reality?" Buffy stared at the dark haired girl. "She got the height genes, didn't she?" She muttered.
"Ah, yep, she's already taller than us." The Buffy on the other side of the portal answered. "She's having growth spurts and eats everything in sight and now she's running out of energy and needing catnaps to catch up." As Harmony took off again to try to find local Xander's body.
