"I hope you're fine..." A lightly tanned woman said as she sat in a dining room, drinking a red steaming liquid as she looked at a framed picture. The picture portrayed her and a shorter boy. Both had monkey tails and identical long spiky black hair that reached their upper backs. She placed the picture down as something buzzed in her black sweatpants. She took out a buzzing unicomm with a call from 'Cobar'. She answered and held it over her left ear as she swayed her tail from side to side.
"Zucchi! I'm here in the upper palace levels, there's this sketchy pink stranger sitting on the throne! The guards are surrounding her! Something is about to go down! Please come here quickly! Can you bring Kuah!?" Cobar said. "Okay calm down! Kuah is offworld on his first mission, same one Cryo is on right now. I'll contact Cryo and tell him to get here ASAP. Happy Birthday by the way, cya." Zucchi said as she put down the half empty mug and hung up the call while Cobar tried to say something else. She stood up and ran towards the front door, having picked up an orange and black puffy jacket that hung from a coat rack. She left the house and put on the jacket over her white tank top as she blasted off into the sky.
While in the sky, Zucchi made another call. "Hello, Zucchi. How are you, do you need something?" A calm and soft voice said from the unicomm. "Cryo, something is going down in your palace with a 'pink stranger' or something, we might need you here. I assume you finished your mission by now, is Kuah okay?" Zucchi said. "Well...apparently the citizens here never called for help, it was some sort of misunderstanding. We are going to return home now. Kuah is fine, but disappointed it was all a false alarm. I am going to fly through space now to beat the spaceship, so I will not be able to talk to you. Just be careful, goodbye." Cryo said. A strong breeze could be heard from the speaker as he took off into space, followed by dead air. Zucchi hanged up the call. "Ugh, he never hangs up. The least he could do is buy a recent model that gets a proper signal in space and just keep texting me, isn't he rich? She said as she finally spotted the palace on the horizon. [Damnit, I can feel ki signatures fading! That one definitely stands out, must be the one Cobar mentioned!] She thought to herself as she raced towards the palace's entrance.
An army of armored guards in colored robes could be seen entering the palace. Zucchi reached the entrance and flew into the crowd. She pushed them out of the way as she screamed "MOVE!" The guards upfront moved aside and Zucchi spotted the pink stranger lunging towards her direction with ki claws. She caught the clawed being by surprise with her sudden appearance. Zucchi went for a divekick to the face, which sent her flying back. Zucchi landed, sliding a bit as she looked back at the army and shouted at them "GO! THIS IS NOT WORTH IT! YOU CAN'T TAKE HER ON, LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY!" The guards understood how serious the situation had gotten to warrant her presence, and promptly retreated.
Zucchi would look over to the hoodied person rubbing her head, who slowly stood up and regained her senses. "Ooooh now THIS is interesting! A saiyan aren't you? All for little ol' me? I've never fought one in acting duty." The pink demon said as she leaned to the side a bit and caught a glimpse of Zucchi's tail. "Or maybe not, what kinds saiyan has a tail? Anyways! I'm Majin Sabbra, at your service." Sabbra said as she did a small bow with her arms held wide open. "Zucchi, and what kinda saiyan you ask?" She said and then let out a quick roar as her black hair, eyebrows, and brown tail shifted into a bleached blonde color. She stared at Sabbra's red eyes as her own black ones turned green. "Ever heard of the long forgotten super saiyan legend?" Zucchi said with a smirk, which was quickly lost as a stench reached her. She gritted her teeth as she looked around and finally noticed her comrades' corpses. "Actually yes! I HAVE heard of the legend from my dad, but this is...well...your hair just turned yellow, what do you want me to say? For an ancient form, it's kinds lam-"
She would be interrupted as the recently transformed Zucchi sucker punched her. Sabbra staggered back as she bled some purple blood from her nose. Zucchi quickly rushed in for a second lunging punch, but Sabbra caught it, jumped up and wrapped her legs around the arm. As she held on to the arm, she kicked Zucchi's face multiple times. The super saiyan slammed both her arm and the majin onto the floor. Now with Sabbra pinned on the floor, Zucchi charged a ki blast in her free hand and aimed it towards her face. "Kai Kai!" Sabbra said as both vanished.
The two reappeared midair, still inside the palace. Zucchi gasped after the sudden teleportation, while on the other hand, Sabbra wasn't pinned against anything anymore. Now free, she released Zucchi's arm and swung a kick towards her side, which sent her flying towards a pillar.
As she crashed into the pillar sideways, Zucchi immediately leaned back to avoid a follow-up red laser aimed at her head. She looked over to Sabbra who aimed a finger gun at her. Sabbra raised a second finger gun and unleashed a stream of beams. Zucchi jumped from pillar to pillar to avoid them, and eventually hid behind one of said pillars. She climbed up the pillar and peeked from behind it. She yelled "Star Chaser!" before she shot out 5 blue remote ki beams from her fingers at Sabbra, who was still focused where she last saw Zucchi. As Sabbra looked up due to the yell, she noticed the tracking beams and began flying away as they chased after her.
Zucchi left her peeking position, she flew closer to Sabbra and shot out more Star Chasers to cut off her flight path. Sabbra barely dodged them as Zucchi did not stop releasing more Star Chasers. After Sabbra had too many near misses, she looked over to Zucchi and resorted to her reliable technique once more."Kai Kai!" Sabbra said as she teleported behind Zucchi, placed her arms under the saiyan's and then clasped her hands behind the neck, now having her locked in a Full Nelson hold. [Crap! Calm down...I have full control of the blasts, I'll make her think they're heading straight at me. She probably thinks that they are homing. I'll just have them circle around and blast her from behind right as it seems I'm going to get hit.] Zucchi thought as the dozens of airborne beams began heading towards her. She pretended to struggle getting out of the hold as the blasts approached her. Right when the blue beams reached Zucchi and circled around her...the hold was released..."Kai Kai!" Said Sabbra as she teleported in front of Zucchi. Sabbra smiled and condescendingly pointed towards the beams. Before Zucchi could even process the situation, much less change the beams' trajectories, her back was blasted by all the Star Chasers.
The blasts launched her forwards, where Sabbra caught her head and placed it in a headlock. Sabbra flew straight downwards and crashed Zucchi face-first into the floor. A crater was left from the crash, which Sabbra hopped out off and wiped dust off her pants. Zucchi laid facedown in the crater as blood trickled down her face. She slowly stood up and looked up at the majin. "How...did you know?" Zucchi said, only to be replied with "I have my ways" in a smug tone.
[Guess I'll have to tap into Ultra Saiyan...I can't hold it for long, but...no, I don't know if I'd be able to defeat her in time. I should make another plan.] Zucchi thought, and then Sabbra chuckled a bit. "If you got aaaaany other trasford, trashdoor...if you got aaaaany other form, I'd use it now beeeeecause...Kaio-Ken!" Sabbra said as a red flame-like aura enveloped her body, her power multiplied by two. Zucchi panted and sweated, being left with no other choice now. She took off her jacket and began powering up. She screamed as a gold flash engulfed the inside of the palace for a moment. As the flash disappeared, it was revealed that Zucchi's bleached blonde hair had shifted into a golden color. She gazed at Sabbra as electricity arced around her aura.
"Oooh SHOCKING! You should have beginned with this!" Sabbra said, before she suddenly received a blitzing elbow strike on her gut. She bent over Zucchi's arm in pain and received an uppercut to her jaw not long after. While Sabbra stumbled back from the uppercut, Zucchi delivered a sweeping kick and knocked the majin off her feet. While airborne, Sabbra's face would be grabbed and her head got slammed into the ground.
Zucchi sat on top of Sabbra's chest as she pressed her head against the floor. The floor cracked under the pressure. With one hand, Sabbra tried removing Zucchi's from her face, while the other one was aimed as a finger gun toward Zucchi's gut. Zucchi caught the finger gun by the wrist and aimed it away right as it fired, which just barely missed her swaying monkey tail. [Man, a shot like that to my tail and it would have been over!] Zucchi thought. Sabbra smiled and kneed the base of Zucchi's tail, which she played off as if it barely hurt her. She channeled ki in the hand that pressed down Sabbra's face and charged an attack that would take her out.
The channeling was interrupted by another knee to the tail's base, and another, and another. Zucchi's grip loosened as she weakened. "Tri Kaio-Ken!" Sabbra said before her power tripled and then kneed Zucchi's tail one last time with extra firepower. Zucchi was sent rolling forwards and ended up facedown. Now that Sabbra was freed, she quickly rolled over and crawled towards Zucchi. She lunged and snatched her tail with both hands. She sank her fangs into the tail, which prompted agonizing cries from Zucchi as her golden hair reverted to bleached blonde and then back to black. She looked over her shoulder, and spotted Sabbra with a finger gun aimed at her forehead. Sabbra blasted with no opportunity for a counter.
Author notes: Hello first reader! I wasn't exactly motivated to continue my first fanfic until I noticed someone not only followed it, but they even favorited it! The next chapter will be the last of part 1, with a short epilogue afterwards.
