Hey guys and gals, welcome to the next chapter of Gotcha! ChemyXSympho and this chapter is going to be another prelude chapter to the main story of Symphogear.
Now it looks like you guys had some issue with Tsubasa mistaking Gotchard for Daybreak and here's the thing, Kamen Riders change forms all the time, it isn't that hard to believe she'd mistake him.
Anyway this chapter will be mostly focusing on Elpis so if you guys are interested in her then just wait and see.
But for now, let's get this chapter started.
STEAM! HOPPER! FE~VER!
"DARYA!" Gotchard yelled, throwing an energy charged kick that sent the two flying towards the rooftop of one of the school's buildings before the monster exploded, shattering the ring on Elpis's hand.
"Phew, made it." Gotchard grinned, as he dusted himself before looking.
"Kama! Kama! Kamantis!" Kamantis yelled, finally free of the monster before Gotchard took out a card that Kamantis entered inside.
"Glad to see you're okay Kaman-" "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
"Huh?" Gotchard blinked, before looking up to see Elpis screaming out in pain while her ring shined brightly.
"H-Hey!" Gotchard asked, running up and helping the girl up "Are you okay."
"Hah… Hah… Aaaagggghhhh." She groaned, grabbing her hand "Father… Somebody… Help me…"
"H-Hey! Hang on! I have no choice." Gotchard said, before breaking the ring around her finger, causing the girl to pass out while Gotchard checked on her. "She's okay, thank god."
As this was happening, we see Tsubasa floating down behind them with her blade at the ready "Finally, I've found you Daybreak…"
"H-Hopper!" Hopper1 yelled, making Gotchard perk up before leaping out of the way while carrying Elpis as Tsubasa rushed in and attacked him.
"Woah! Hey, what's the big idea!" Gotchard yelled, as he landed a bit away "Why are you attacking me?!"
"Because you're going to pay Daybreak, pay for taking Kanade's life!" she growled, glaring at Gotchard.
"Daybreak? Kanade's life? What are you talking about?" Gotchard questioned, while Tsubasa readied her sword.
"Enough talk!" she yelled, before swinging her sword sending an energy slash towards him.
"Woah!" Gotchard yelped, as he jumped away from each energy slash "H-Hey! There's someone else here you know!"
"Tsubasa what are you doing! Stand down now!" Genjuro yelled, from ear piece while she growled.
"But commander! We finally found the one that took Kanade away from m- us! I'm not letting this chance get away from me!" Tsubasa yelled.
"But look at him, his colour, fighting style and build are completely different!" Genjuro told her while Tsubasa dashed forward.
"Kamen Riders were said to have changed forms all the time! It has to be him!" she yelled, before slashing forward as Gotchard moved before jumping to another building.
"Damn, I can't fight her like this." Gotchard frowned, before the container on his arm shined before two cards flew out while his goggles analysed the two of them.

"Huh? You guys wanna help?" Gotchard asked, turning his head as the Chemy's jumped.
"HAWK! HAAAWK!" "Dash! Da-Dash!" The two responded, making Gotchard smirk.
"Well alright then! Thanks guys!" Gotchard grinned, before inserting some blank cards into the Gotcharge Gun and pulling out Steamliner "Gonna need your help too."
"STEAAAAMM!" Steamliner nodded as Gotchard scanned them into the top part of the gun before being placed inside of it
STEAMLINER!
As the gun started to play techno stand-by music, Gotchard noticed Tsubasa leaping into the air.
"HA!" Tsubasa yelled, before swinging downwards, shattering the ground while Gotchard leapt back.
GOTCHARGE BUSTER!
"Hah!" Gotchard yelled, before firing a train shaped blast towards her.
Tsubasa however raised her sword and deflected the attack right back at Gotchard causing an explosion of smoke.
"Did that do it?" Tsubasa muttered, readying her sword as she stared at the dust cloud.
"HAAWK!" Tsubasa gasped before jumping back as a large Hawk creature flew out of the smoke.
"Is that a Chemy?" Tsubasa gasped, before getting serious and quickly jumped towards the large Chemy.
Tsubasa threw an energy slash at the Chemy who moved out of the way before flapping its wings which pushed Tsubasa back.
"GGGHHH…" She grunted, crossing her arms while coming to a stop before looking up to see the Chemy now gone.
"Where did it-" Vroom!
Tsubasa blinked before looking down to see Gotchard and Golddash while driving off with Elpis on his back making her frown as she watched him drive off.

In a dark void we see Yuya standing in the city at night with his eyes closed.
Knowing that makes me want to see ahead
His eyes slowly open up and widen at what he sees

Turning around, Yuya grins as he offers a hand whoever's he's looking at
And make up a rainbow that shines, so brilliant in the sky
We move past him to see a beautiful rainbow next to the blue sky.
Giving up saying that nothing will change… Even losing my own strength just to move.
We see Hibiki on a park bench looking down while Tsubasa was in front of a dojo training with her sword.
"What's so fun thinking that all the time?" You said smiling as you walked ahead…
A light then shines as the two look up with determined looks in their eyes.
(YEAH)
Feeling lonely as my heart sub comes to FLASHBACKS
The scene cut's to Hibiki while transformed punching one of the noises in the face.
Synchronising with you and having no MASH UPS
It then switches to Tsubasa slashing another in half while also transforming.
I know that we can make it in RIGHT NOW, READY SET GO!
Finally we see Kamen Rider Gotchard running ahead before jumping into the air.
I'm never alone, ever since the day you said that to me Everything seems so possible and free
We see Gotchard on Goldash driving off a ramp into the sky, before landing on to the street and driving ahead.
Along with your, everlasting smile so big and happy So grab onto my hand so tightly,
We then switch Elpis looking up as she saw Gotchard driving towards her while reaching his hand out making her smile as she took it.
Together as we are, there's nothing that we can't overcomeI feel that way since you are here with me
Elpis was now on the back of Gotchard's bike as they drove through the street passing by several Chemies along the way.
You make the strength that is missing on the right side of me Our strength as one I know that we, We'll take off to sky!
The two then looked up to see three dark figures looking down on them before looking at each other and nodding.
Don't stand there, never DON'T STOP (Don't stop)
Gotchard and Hibiki were doing a double punch attack towards a group of noise together.
I'll never leave you DON'T CRY (Don't cry)
Switches to Tsubasa swinging down towards Gotchard who blocked the attack with his arm, as the two glare at each other.
You'll never be alone right here 'cause EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT
Yuya then pumps his arm as he and Elpis look up at the blue sky and the rainbow.
Tachibana household
Third person P.O.V.
"Your name will be Elpis, named after the Goddess of Hope from Greek Mythology."
"Are you insane, she's a thing! We need to continue experimentation just like the rest."
"No! I can't, I don't want to harm her! She's more than just a homunculus, all of them are!"
"So what will it be, will you live a life trapped forever? Or will you join your family to change the world."
"AH!" Elpis gasped, rising up and taking a few deep breaths "W-What was that…huh."
Elpis blinked looking around as she found herself in a bed of a room that she didn't recognise, followed by a blush when she realised her clothes had been swapped for an oversized shirt and a pair of shorts "W-What happened…"
"Ah! You're awake!" she heard, before turning her head to see Hibiki walking over while carrying some clothes "Thank goodness, we were really worried about you."
"Um, who are you?" Elpis asked, with a confused look.
"Oh right, Tachibana Hibiki! Nice to meet you!" She smiled with a salute "My brother found you getting attacked by that monster before you were knocked out, then the Kamen Rider came and fought it off."
"Monster? Kamen Rider?" She questioned, turning her head.
"That's right, then he took you over here to check you up. It was a big surprise when we found out." Hibiki told her.
"O-Oh okay…but one more thing, um…" Elpis muttered, before looking away with a blush "About my clothes?"
"Clothes…oh right!" Hibiki realised "They were pretty damaged and dirty, so Mom and Grandma are out right now getting some new clothes for you, luckily we're the same size so they didn't need your sizes."
"T-Thanks, what about your brother?" Elpis asked, still looking worried, making Hibiki blink.
"He's just in his room, I'll go and get him now." Hibiki smiled, getting up and walking out of the room.
Elpis sighed as looked down at the blanket over her body before noticing something and gasping "It's…gone…"
Meanwhile in Yuya's room right now we see him with his goggles on looking at each of the chemies.
"Alright and finally Raidenji, battery shaped, electrical generation and partner is Junglejan, which I do not have." Yuya muttered, writing down in a notebook.
As he was doing this, the Chemies were roaming around the room while still in their cards, being about 25 Chemies roaming around the room each one of different shapes and sizes.
"That means there are about 7 forms I can use at the moment, and there are about 76 out there either captured by those three sisters or out there in the wild somewhere." Yuya muttered, tapping his pen on his lip.
"Hopper?" Hopper1 asked, jumping on to the desk while still in his card.
"Ah sorry Hopper1, just talking to myself." he told the small Chemy "By the way just wondering, what's it like in there?"
"Hoppa! Hopper hopper hop hoppa!" Hopper1 told him while motioning to the rest of the room.
"Ah I get it, so it's like a small room huh? Neat." Yuya smiled, before leaning back "Man all of you are so interesting! I can't wait to meet more of you guys!"
"Actually. I had an idea." Yuya suggested, as the Chemies turned to him "I was thinking of writing down a book with a note about all the things I learned about you guys, so how about it? Got anything to give me?"
"Dokkiri!" "Kama! Kama!" "Hawk!" "Hopper!" "Steam!" "Sabo!" "Rose~" "Gyl!" "Rippa~" "Veno!" "Denji!" "Renkin!" "Nero!" "Wheel!" "Pilets!" "Mariner!" "DASH!" "Hiikesu!" "Skebow!" "Dokkiri!" "Kemaru!" "Smapho!" "Baang!" "Moth!" "Catch~!" The Chemies cheered, as they rushed up to Yuya.
"Okay! Okay! Gimme a sec, I can't write that down all at on-" "Hey Yuya, I'm coming in!"
"Ah crap, it's Hibiki! Guys you need to hi-" Yuya told them before blinking as the cards had already moved to the container "Huh…"
"Woah geez, your room is a mess." Hibiki blinked, looking around the room that was torn to pieces by the Chemies curiosity.
"Also…what's up with those goggles?" Hibiki snorted, looking at Yuya, making him blink before he lifted them up.
"Oh what? You don't think they look good?" Yuya asked, lifting them up.
"Course not, you look like a train conductor or someone from that old Digimon anime we used to watch." Hibiki laughed while Yuya rolled his eyes.
"Yeah yeah, so what's up? Why did you come running in here?" Yuya asked, as Hibiki motioned to the door.
"That girl is up, she said she wanted to meet with you." Hibiki told him while Yuya perked up.
"Oh really? Alright, let's go!" Yuya smiled, as the two walked out while the Chemies popped out to take a look.
The door of the room opened causing Elpis to perk up before she turned over to see Yuya and Hibiki walking in "Ah, so you are awake! Great!"
"Y-Yes…thank you for helping me out…" Elpis muttered awkwardly looking away.
"So what's your name? Can't exactly keep calling you mystery girl." Hibiki asked, making Elpis gulp.
"Um…El…pis…"
"Elpis?" The two blinked, turning their heads at the same time.
"Hehe! It's a little weird but I like it!" Hibiki giggled, making Elpis blink before looking away with a blush.
"It's not weird…" she pouted, making Yuya laugh.
'Wow, I thought her personality was more like her sisters but she's surprisingly normal' Yuya thought, before the sound of a stomach grumbling was heard.
"Hehe, sounds like you guys are pretty hungry." Hibiki grinned, looking between the two "Neh Yuya, think you could cook something…something normal…"
"Right, right, Tonkatsu on the way." Yuya said, heading for the kitchen while Elpis turned her head.
"Tonkatsu?"
Section 2
Third person P.O.V.
We see Tsubasa in front of the same suited men from before, both of them giving her a hard gaze as she stared at the ground.
"We told you to stand down. That was an order, you could've hurt someone!" The man with Red hair chasited sternly.
"I needed to stop him. Daybre-" "He's not Daybreak."
Tsubasa tried to explain herself before being interrupted by the suited man, who stared at her with more intensity.
"We runned various cycles, and we've reached the conclusion that that man is not the same as the other. You got that clear." The man said before Tsubasa's head shot upwards with blood shot eyes.
"They look identical! Even if the color is different he still has the same armor!" Tsubasa ranted as the man stood indifferent.
"He needs to pay, Genjuro-san. He needs to pay for taking away Kanade's life, for taking her away from us!" "Tsubasa."
Tsubasa's rant was once again interrupted by Genjuro who looked at her like a parent would look at a child throwing a tantrum.
"Let me ask you this." Genjuro said in a strict but calm tone. "Assuming this person is indeed Daybreak. Would killing him bring Kanade back?"
This made Tsubasa flinch, she knew making Daybreak pay for what he'd done would never bring her back, but she just couldn't let her friend go unavenged. In response she just glanced to the side making Genjuro sigh in exasperation.
"Anyway. Have you gathered more information about this individual? You mentioned something called Chemy during the battle?" Genjuro said, making Tsubasa blink.
"Yes. They appear to be creatures of different shapes. Some looked like animals, while others looked like inanimate objects. I can't make a connection." Tsubasa explained.
"Oh ho ho, a real pokemon situation we have here." Ryoko smiled before turning her head "Or would it be Digimon?"
"Either way, we need to keep an eye on these creatures, if they are the key to Gotchard's powers, who knows what they will be able to do?" Genjuro said as he placed his hand on his chin thinking of the possibilities.
"Yes, just imagine. We could augment the power of the Symphogear. A Chemy powered one." Ryoko thought out loud with a fascinated smirk, also thinking of the scientific possibilities at hand.
"I refuse to have one of those creatures in my gear, it disgusts me." Tsubasa said with disdain. "But I offer myself to the task of keeping an eye on him."
"I won't ask you to do that. After your little episode, I feel you'll use this chance to attack him." Genjuro said before turning around and walking towards a desk and grabbing a head com.
"Yes, get me Fujitaka and Tomosato. Tell them they have a special recon mission." Genjuro said before putting the com away before facing Tsubasa once more. "This is a direct order Tsubasa: Do not engage with the Kamen Rider. Are we clear?"
Tsubasa could only grunt before nodding as she walked away from the facilities as another man in a business suit followed her out of the building.
Genjuro could only sigh as Tsubasa finally left the room.
"That young lady really needs some help." Ryoko commented out loud as Genjuro took a seat in the many chairs.
"Yes, but there's little we can do. She likes to act like an indifferent grown woman, but she's still a child deep down." Genjuro said before looking at the sky. 'Kanade, if only you were still here, to wipe my niece's tears…'
Back at the house
Third person P.O.V.
After dinner we see Yuya and Elpis cleaning the dishes while Hibiki was messing around on her phone.
"You really didn't need to help out, you are the guest after all." Yuya told her but Elpis shook her head.
"No, no, I insist. I'd feel bad otherwise." he told him before the two looked down.
"Oh uh right…" he said, pulling out the remains of the ring and handing it to her "Sorry I had to break this, it looked like it was causing you a lot of pain."
"Thanks…" she muttered, taking the ring before looking down "Um, if I may ask…why did you help me? You even brought me, an enemy, back to your home…"
"Well I mean, I couldn't exactly leave you with that blue sword lady." "What?" "Long story…" Yuya told her while Elpis just looked at him confused.
"Besides, you didn't seem that bad…especially compared to your sisters." Yuya admitted, while Elpis glanced at him "I could hear what they were doing to you back there, but now with that ring you don't have to do what they want anymore, you can be you own person."
"You say that like it's easy, just to leave them…" Elpis muttered, looking down.
"We're back!" Yuya and Hibiki's mother and grandmother said, as they walked in through the door while holding some bags.
"Ah! Welcome back, mom!" Hibiki said, walking up to the two as they took off their coats.
"Hibiki-chan, how was that girl? Has she woken up yet?" Her grandmother asked, making the girl nod.
"Yup! Her name's Elpis and we're just having dinner now." Hibiki said, as the two nodded and followed her.
"Ah, welcome back." Yuya smiled, as he and Elpis cleaned the dishes after having their dinner "Left you some, it's just in the fridge."
"So you're the girl Yuya brought home huh?" Ayumi asked, crossing her arms.
"Yes, my name is Elpis…sorry for the intrusion." Elpis apologised but Ayumi waved it off.
"Now, now, don't be like that, especially after you got attacked by the Noise." Ayumi told her, making Elpis blink.
"The Noise? Ah! R-Right, right the Noise!" She nodded, looking away sheepishly.
"So where do you live? I'd be happy to give you a ride back home." Ayumi asked, causing Elpis to look down.
"O-Oh…w-well um actually." she paled, looking down as she wasn't sure what to say.
"Huh? Is something wrong?" Ayumi asked, looking concerned.
"Um actually mom, Elpis isn't-" "Hmm." Yuya blinked, as his GrandMother walked up.
"You've run away from home, haven't you?" Their grandmother asked, making the girl blink.
"Um y-yes, something like that…" Elpis quickly nodded before looking away "… I um…don't exactly wanna say but…I just can't go back…"
"Oh dear…seems like you've been through a lot." Ayumi muttered, moving back "I can certainly understand, Noise attacks can affect people in a lot of ways."
"Ne ne mom, why don't we have Elpis stay here? I'm going to be staying in the dorms in Lydian so she can have my room." Hibiki suggested, while Ayumi turned to her.
"Hibiki, of course we can't do that." Ayumi told her "Her family must be worried sick, it would basically be the same as kidnapping her."
"I-It's alright, I'm fine and you don't need to drive me." Elpis denied, raising her arms.
"Hmm well alright, but I don't feel right sending you out on your own." Ayumi admitted, before looking over at Yuya "Do you mind walking her home Yuya?"
"Huh? Oh sure." Yuya nodded while Hibiki pouted "What? Why don't I get to go."
"Don't you still have to get ready for when you move to the dorm?" Ayumi glared, making Hibiki shudder.
"Geh, okay okay! I'll get to it…" Hibki gulped, before blinking "But what about her clothes? They were damaged?"
"Don't worry about that, that's why we went to get these on the way back." Their grandmother smiled, handing Elpis a bag.
"O-Oh thanks." she muttered, with a small blush.
"I wanna see, come on I'll show you my room." Hibiki grinned, taking Elpis's hand before pulling the girl into her room while Yuya went to his own room to get ready.
As they did, we see their Grandmother looking down with a concerned but also confused look 'That Elpis girl…she looks just like her…but that can't be possible…right?'
One hour later
Park
Third person P.O.V.
"Hah, so what do we do now?" Elpis muttered, as she sat on a bench in the park while Yuya sat next to her.
Elpis was currently in a new outfit which consisted of a white shirt with a beige coloured sweater over it and a black plaid skirt with high black socks and her black boots.
"Not sure, I'm guessing you don't want to go back to your sisters?" Yuya asked, with Elpis sighing.
"I don't know really, I was made to work with them…but now that I don't have to…I have no idea what I'm meant to do." she frowned, while Yuya raised an eyebrow.
"You don't have to answer if you don't want to but…what exactly are you guys? You're certainly not human…" Yuya asked, while Elpis turned to him.
"You know what…I'll tell you…we're all Homunculus, humans created through Alchemy…in truth, I'm not even two years old…my body was based on someone that had died, just like my sisters." she explained, looking at her hand "But unlike my sisters…I was made in the wrong way…and I couldn't use alchemy like them, that's why I needed that ring but in the same way, it was made to control me."
"Why would Amachi-san do something like that!" Yuya gawked, but Elpis shook her head.
"He didn't, it was his assistant, he betrayed him and took us away…the others were fine but when I refused he used the ring to force me to do what he wanted…including attacking you and the professor."
"Oh…now I get why you're so nervous about what you wanna do now…" Yuya looked at her for a moment before looking back up "Maybe we could go see Amachi-san."
"Huh? What do you mean?" She asked, as Yuya looked at her. "I mean…we don't exactly have anything else to do, plus who knows he might have gotten out."
"You make a fair point…I know it's not likely but I would like to take a look myself." Elpis admitted, before Yuya hopped up.
"Alright then, hey Steamliner?" Yuya asked, pulling out the card.
"Steam?" Steamliner questioned, turning his head while Yuya smiled.
"Mind taking us back to the place where we met the professor? We're going to go and check it out." Yuya asked.
"Mmm…STEAM!" Steamliner nodded, before shooting out of the card as the two got on before the train flew off and entered a portal before anyone could see it
Ouroboros Realm
Third person P.O.V.
A portal opened up in the Ouroboros Realm before Steamliner flew out, with Yuya and Elpis inside looking out the window.
"Man, I still can't get used to how weird this place looks? Like it was made to research the Chemies." Yuya sweatdropped.
"Oh. That's because this is a pocket dimension." Elpis told him, making Yuya gawk "For real?!"
"Of course, put on your goggles and look up." Elpis directed, as Yuya did just that only for his eyes to widen.
"WOAH!" he gawked, looking at the Ouroboros in the sky as his goggles scanned it.

"That thing is a Chemy too?!" Yuya shouted, making Elpis giggle.
"Yeah, actually the professor used to tell me about it. It's believed to be a third Chemy made alongside Gaiard and Dragonalos but unlike them, it remained on its own and didn't bother making any Chemies, that's why he marked it as Chemy number 0" she explained, as a soft smile grew on her face "I haven't thought about that in a long time."
"Elpis…" Yuya muttered, looking at her.
"STEEEEAAAAMMMM!" Steamliner called, and dropped Yuya and Elpis in front of a building before returning to its card.
"Huh? This is different, where are we?" Yuya asked, looking up at the building which looked fairly big but also clearly aged.
"This…was the lab we were created…it was where I grew up…" Elpis muttered, looking up at the building "You brought us here on purpose, Steamliner."
"Steam! Liner!" "Hopper! Hop! Hop!" Steamliner and Hopper1 confirmed as they rest on Yuya's shoulders.
"Seems like the Chemies want to trust you too, huh?" Yuya asked, while Elpis nodded.
"Yeah. Thank you two, truly…" Elpis smiled, with a bit of a bow.
"Oh hoh, getting friendly with the tools now aren't we~ And you even brought the old man's 'dear hope'" They heard, before turning around and looking up to see Lachesis and Clotho.
"Lachesis and Clotho?! What are you doing here!" Elpis gasped, stepping back.
"What do you think, we were waiting for you?" Clotho scoffed "I told you we should have gone after her Lachesis, look at her not only did she fail a simple mission, she even befriended the target."
"Hmm you do have a point, the two of you two do look pretty close." Lachesis noted, turning to Elpis "Is this true?"
"I-I-I…" Elpis stammered, clearly terrified as she looked up at her two.
"I-I-I, not willing to talk but how about we give you a bit more incentive~" Lachesis mocked, before lifting up the gold square as it glowed but nothing happened. "Huh?"
"Lachesis look at her ring!" Clotho growled, as the two finally noticed the ring was gone.
"That's right! Elpis isn't going to be your tool anymore!" Yuya yelled, glaring at them before looking back "Elpis, you should go inside."
"Huh? What do you mean?" Elpis questioned, while Yuya looked at her.
"You wanna find something on the professor right? They'll probably go after you if you stay here, so I'll keep them busy while you go looking through the lab." he explained.
"Yuya…" Elpis muttered before smiling "Thank you."
Elpis ran into the lab while Yuya slapped his driver on to his waist while glaring at the two Homunculus
"Oooh~ You must be pretty strong if you think you can take us." Lachesis smirked, while Clotho crossed her arms.
"I'm interested in seeing the Driver in action, so here you go." Clotho said, before snapping her fingers which summoned a large group of Noise "Have fun with these for now."
"More Noise huh? Fine, I'll show you just what I can do! Hopper1! Steamliner! Lend me your power!" He proclaims himself glaring at the two girl as Hopper1 and Steam Liner cards flew into his hand.
"Hopper!"
He flips the Hopper1 as the back has a split face and inserts the Hopper1 card into his Gotchadriver slot.
"HOPPER1!"
A projection of the Hopper1 card appears as Hopper1 pops out and flies around Yuya while he lifts up the Steamliner card.
"Steam!"
Then he inserted it to the left side of the slot.
"STEAMLINER!"
Then another card projection with Steamliner popping out of the card appears on his left.
Yuya spread both arms and then made poses with his hand before moving them to the front.
"Henshin!" He yells before he pulls the two levers with the two cards moving towards each other, combining the split faces into one.
GOT~CHANKO!
The holographic Hooper1 and Steamliner jump out of the cards while Yuya was encased in a large beaker with fire at the bottom.
Hopper1 and SteamLiner entered into the Beaker, both turning into energy as they wrapped around and merged with Yuya, transforming him into Kamen Rider Gotchard.
STE~AM HOP~PER! (Hopper!) (Hopper!)
"Ikuze!" Gotchard declared, pulling out the Gotchargi buster before he dashed towards the Noise.
"Take this!" He yelled, before jumping in and kicking one of the Noise in the face turning it into dust.
This caused the Noise to turn their attention towards Gotchard before moving into straight lines and darting towards him.
Gotchard slid under the advancing Noise while pulling out some of his blank cards and inserting them into his gun.
This was followed by him getting up and firing at the Noise causing them to explode into dust.
However, more Noise came rushing in, forcing Gotchard to jump back as they lunged after him.
"HAH!" he yelled, kicking one in the face turning it into a dust before he followed it with an elbow to another one's face.
One Noise leapt towards him with his mouth open ready to bit him but Gotchard's armour body turned to smoke as his armour split apart.
This allowed the Noise to pass through him before he reformed and threw a spin kick, killing the Noise.
"Phew, how about tha-woah!" Gotchard yelped as another Noise took its chance to shoot some tendrils at him.
The tendrils wrapped around his arm forcing the boy to try and rip it off, however another Tendril shot in and wrapped around his other arm.
"What?! Oh come on!" Gotchard growled, trying his best to break free before he looked up at more Shadows rushing in.
However before they could attack him, two Chemy's flew out of the container and floated in front of him.
"Kama! Kamantis!" "Rippa~" The two Chemy's said, making Gotchard blink.
"You guys wanna help me? Alright!" Gothcard grinned, before using his strength to move his arms shakily towards the river and pushed it.
This released Hopper1 and Steamliner, who returned to the container before Kammantis and Odorippa took their place.
ODORIPPA! KAMANTIS!
The Noise noticed and tried pulling his arms back, while the other Noise rushed in and all the dogs piled him "H-Hey! Get off!"
"Mou~ how boring, he could even handle a few measly Noise." Lachesis pouted as she and Clotho watched the battle.
"Hmph, this is just pathetic. Why the hell was he chosen…hmm?" Clotho blinked, as they noticed a light underneath the large Noise
GOTCHANKO! ODORI~MANTIS!
"DARYA!" Gotchard yelled, before bursting out in a new wild form that looked like a humanoid mantis that had feather-like clothing making it look like a Brazilian dancer alongside arm blades with its lower half being a tornado.
"Woah! Ho! Ho! I feel so good!" Gotchard cheered, before he began slashing through the Noise around him.
The way he slashed through the noise was almost like a dance, swiftly moving around the Noise's and striking them in different directions.
Some Noiset tried striking him but Gotchard easily dodged the attack by spinning around like a dance move.
The Noise then blasted several lasers at him but Gotchard just grinned before spinning around in one spot.
This created a large tornado that sucked the lasers in which Gotchard user to shoot right back by swinging his arm blades, killing more of the Noise.
"Woah! So cool, alright let's see what another combo can do!" he grinned, as some more Chemies flew out for Gotchard to use.
PILETS! MADWHEEL!
GOTCHANKO! MAD~PILETES!
With a bright flash, Gotchard was a change into a new wild form that looked like a mix between a Pirate ship and a Car. With a large white sail, spiked wheels, a cannon at the front and purple mechanical arms.
"Woah! Am I a freaking Tank?!" Gotchard gawked, looking at himself before turning to the monster "Well alright! Let's see how I go."
"Take this!" Gotchard yelled, ramming into some of the Noise, crushing them as they burst into dust.
The Noise turned into liquid and shot towards Gotchard who swerved out of the way of the attacks.
"Take this!" He yelled, firing at the Noise with his cannon; however they absorbed the attack before firing at Gotchard.
"Oh crud!" he yelped, before quickly switching forms to his rider mode and leapt over the attack.
The rider mode looked similar to Steamhopper except he was purple colour and didn't have any leg armour, had wheel weapons on his armour with his shoulder pads look like the front of a ship with cannons on both sides and his helmet looked like the Wild form which worked as a pirate hat.
"Let's finish this up!" Gotchard said, pulling and pushing the Gotchadriver before he fired the wheels which grew into giant wheels.
The wheels spun around the Noise, forcing them into one big group while the cannons on Gotchards shoulder shifted to point to the Noise.
MAD~PILETES! FEVER~!
"HAH!" he yelled, before he fired two blasts from the cannon shoulders killing the large group of Noise.
"Hah…hah…how do you like that?" Gotchard grinned, pointing at the two sisters.
"Hmph, I'll admit you're not bad, but that's nothing compared to us!" Clotho scoffed, as she walked forward.
"Mou~ fine, guess I'll get in on this." Lachesis sighed followed Clotho, as the two stood in front of Gotchard.
"Let's see how you do against me." Clotho scoffed, before the two pulled out a Chemy card.
"More Chemies!" Gotchard gasped, as his goggles analysed the Chemies.

"O-Oco-Oco! Gekiocopter!" "GenGen!" The Chemies cried, as Clotho and Lachesis absorbed the cards in their body, transforming them into Malgams.
Clotho has the grey wrapping around her body, with the normal arms both flexing upwards and the helicopter attaching to her chest so the blade we're out in front, the missiles at the arms and the helicopter's tail as the head.
Lachesis also has the grey wrapping around her body, with her normal arms holding her head being blocked by butterfly wings on the front and back. The butterfly's head poked out of the side, with it's suck poking out and on the other side it's back also poked out
"HAHAHA! Time for you to face a real warrior!" "Fufu, let's play Gotcha-boy~!" Clotho and Lachesis laughed, as Gotchard struck a fighting position.
"Don't worry Gekiocopter and Ganganchoucho, I'll definitely save you two!" Gotchard yelled, before dashing towards Clotho and Lachesis.
Meanwhile, inside the lab.
As soon as Elpis made her way inside the place, she found herself with a very technological room filled with giant screens as well as various beakers and flasks filled with various liquids.
"This must be the research room." Elpis said to herself as she looked all over the place for the professor, but not even a hair was left.
"Maybe he left a clue in the files." Elpis said as she approached a keyboard next to one of the screens and started to search for anything he might've left for them to connect with him.
So far no success she saw no trace of his whereabouts or future plans, it's like he just disappeared from the face of the earth… Or maybe that's what he wanted to do.
To be honest, the time she spent with the professor was… Brief, so to speak. But all the times she remembered she sometimes felt he treated her with a little more love, like she was special to him. Well, all before she and her sister got taken by him.
If he loved her so much, why didn't he come to her rescue, why took so long? And what would she do if she found him again. Ask him a bunch of questions? Ignore him? Punch him? Hug him? She wasn't so sure, the only thing she wanted now was to know he was safe.
BEEP BEEP
As she was surfing through some of the files she came across three encrypted files, one of them titled 'Project V.V.R - Completion: 80%' and another 'WiP: H.A.R. & A.D.'
The last one however was not encrypted and was titled: To Elpis.
She let a little gasp before clicking it, revealing a letter.
'Dear, Elpis. If you're reading this I may not be with you anymore. However, that does not mean I don't love you, as I always felt that you were closest to me.'
At those words she found herself letting a few tears run through her checks. Strange. Dolls shouldn't cry, why can she? Brushing the tears off with her arm, she kept reading.
'Instead, I fear the worst has come and that my time may be up, so I decided to go into hiding until it's safe to come out. But it's not all lost. I'm planning to put all my trust on a pupil to use my greatest creation. So that it can defend the incoming darkness that looms all over us. I'm sure the young man I've spotted a few days ago will be a great choice'
She then thought back towards Yuya fighting her sisters using the Driver he created.
'I won't question your judgement.' She thought to herself reaching the end of the letter.
'The two files that are next to this one, are both incomplete projects of mine that also possess the ability to use chemies to fight the Noise, Malgam and other incoming dangers ahead. One of them is nearly completed. However the other one is only in the planning stage, and I couldn't advance further in it. I trust you, to take both of these away from your sisters and his clutches and hopefully use them to fight as well. Farewell and good luck. Professor Gakuto Amachi.'
As soon as she stopped reading, she took a moment to contemplate everything. While she was sad at his disappearance she was happy that he was ok and that he was gonna do anything to survive. Now, all she had to do is complete the part of the bargain.
She then clicked both files, causing two panels on a console near her to open up. She walked towards one of them, revealing a small USB drive labelled H.A.R. & A.D.
"This must be the uncompleted project." She said, as she took the drive and put it in her pocket.
She then approached the other panel which was bigger than the other and was surprised to see what it was inside.
It was some sort of amalgamation between a spanner and a sword. With a black body with silver on the spanner shaped end and a magenta edge surrounded with a gun muzzle of the same colour placed between the jaws. In the middle of the body was a magenta lever and a rectangular silver chamber with a clear window. The hilt of the sword had the appearance of a silver wrench tightening a silver bolt, with a black pin and trigger on the front part of the hilt and a black bolt on the back. The sword also came with a back holster and message on a small paper near it.
'This is the Valvarusher, it will convert the user into the alchemy powered: Kamen Warrior Valvarad. Although it can only use one Vehicle car at a time, it can be just as effective as the Kamen Rider. The chemy I found most effective for transformation is Vehicle Number 6: Madwheel. Good luck, and be careful, it's not as safe or complete as the belt.'
Having read the message, Elpis took the sword, and placed it on the holster before equipping it onto her back and walking out to help Yuya.
Back outside
Third person P.O.V.
"GAH!" Gotchard yelled, as he was knocked by an explosion from the Malgams missile.
"Damn, I need to switch forms!" Gotchard growled, getting up and removing Mad Wheel and Pilets.
"You fell for it." Clotho smirked, before using the copter blades in front of her to begin spinning, creating a whirl wind that hit Gotchard.
"G-Gah!" Gotchard yelped, as he returned to normal before the cards flew out of his "NO!"
"Hehe, too slow~" Lacesis laughed, using Clotho's whirlwind to push herself past Gotchard and towards the cards.
"That's one." Lachesis smirked, as she grabbed Pilotes before turning around "And now for two-gah!"
Bang!
"Huh?" The three of them blinked as they turned over only for their eyes to widen as Elpis walked out with the Valvarusher in her hand.
"M-Mad! Wheel! Wheel!" MadWheel cried before Elpis reached out and caught him.
"Don't worry, I promise I'm going to get your friend back but I need you to lend me your power." Elpis said, making MadWheel nod.
"Hmph, you really think you can fight us runt?" Clotho scoffed, making Elpis frown.
"I know I can, I have to." she said before turning to Yuya "The Professor put his faith in you and I will do the same, so can I please fight with you?"
"Elpis… Of course." Yuya nodded, before the two of them stood next to each other.
"Energyl! Sasukemaru! Lend me your power!" He proclaims himself glaring at the two girls as the two cards flew into his hand.
"Energyl!"
He flips the Energyl card as the back has a split face and inserts the card into his Gotchadriver slot.
"ENERGYL!"
A projection of the Chemie card appears and hovers behind Yuya while he lifts up the Sasukemaru card.
"Maru!"
Then he inserted it to the left side of the slot.
"SASUKEMARU!"
Then another card projection showing Sasukemaru appeared behind before Yuya spread both arms and then made poses with his hand before moving them to the front.
"Henshin!" He yells before he pulls the two levers with the two cards moving towards each other, combining the split faces into one.
GOT~CHANKO!
The holographic Energyl and Sasukemaru jump out of the cards while Yuya was encased in a large beaker with fire at the bottom.
Energy and Sasukemaru entered into the Beaker, both turning into energy as they wrapped around and merged with Yuya, transforming him into his new forms which was green in colour with a clear Ninja motif with his helmet arms and scarf resembling a ninja but with a liquidy aesthetic.
ENERGY~MARU!
Elpis started first, cranking the sword blade to the side which released the slot for the card freom the chamber.
GAKIN!
She then inserted the Madwheel card before closing the chamber on the sword.
MADWHEEL! GOKIN!
Elpis raised the sword as sparks started surrounding the blade before she closed her eyes "Ironize!"
VALVARUSH!
"G-Gah!" Elpis grunted, gritting her teeth as sparks coursed through her body when she pulled the trigger of the sword causing Mad Wheel to shoot out before spinning around her.
TUNE UP! MAD WHEEL!
Mad Wheel then broke apart before it merged with her body, causing a suit of armour to form around her transforming her into Kamen Warrior Valvarad.
She now looked like an armoured warrior in a black bodysuit with magenta armour pieces with oil smudges smear all over on the chest and shoulders with dirty silver armour parts on the arms, waist and collar, as well as rusty pipes and other parts embracing the sides from the chest and coming out from the top of it, looking like a car engine. It also had a pair of dirty wheels on the shoulders with hexagonal magenta caps ending on long spikes acting as side shoulder armour, a magenta slotted hex bolt on the abdomen as well as a pair of white gloves with silver circular slotted bolts on the back of the hands. From the waist below it looked like it wore a pair of white coveralls with the body section tied around the waits like coattails, this section of the body also had the same dark oil smudges smeared all over with metallic black braces around the lower legs, with various silver circular bots around the white shoes.
The helmet looked mechanical, the right side done in the same magenta but much cleaner with horn on the right side as well as a white eye and jaw line going all the way to the ear, the left side however, looked like a wrench, done in silver, covering majority of the left side with the fixed jaw casting as the left-side horn far on the left side and the adjustable jaw placed on the forehead of the helmet acting as the centre horn, lastly, the thumb screw on the wrench acted as the right eye of the helmet, and a magenta slotted hex bolt was placed between the jaws as it was tightening it.
"Here we go!" Gotchard yelled, as the two rushed in to fight the Malgam's in front of them.

"Raaah!" Valvarad yelled, rushing forward as she clashed blades with Lachesis who used the sucker of the butterfly as a blade.
"Ku-ku, you must have really gotten a big head when you broke your ring, dear sister." Lachesis smirked, moving in close "Maybe I should teach you a lesson~."
She then proceeded to jump back as Valvarad swung horizontally, followed by her kicking the warrior in the head.
"Don't think I'm still weak like I was before!" Valvarad yelled, as she swung upward and slashed Lachesis causing her to stagger back.
She then thrusted her sword forward and caught the Malgam on the sword's wrench before pulling the trigger.
"GAH!" Lachesis cringed, as several bullets were shot into her chest before she slashed Valvarad forcing her back.
"How about some punishment for that?" Lacehsis smirked, before thrusting her blade forward towards Valvarad.
"HAH!" Valvarad then jumped up as Lachesis thrusted her blade forward dodging the attack.
She then followed by firing several shots at Lachesis forcing her to roll out of the way.
"How do you like this!" Lachesis yelled, as she raised her left arm and fired several pollen bombs towards Valvarad.
"Don't you get me like that!" Valvarad frowned, as she used her sword to fire the bombs causing them to explode before they could hit her leaving small pollen around them.
"Stop underestimating me! I'm not the same persona that I was!" Valvarad declared, before dashing towards Lachesis to continue battling.
"STOP DODGING YOU BASTARD!" Clotho roared, as she fired several missiles towards Gotchard.
Gotchard however was dodging each of the missiles by utilising his forms ninja reflexes "Please, why would I do that."
"So I can do this!" Clotho smirked, rushing in to punch Gotchard while he did a few hand symbols.
He then slammed his hand on the ground, creating a liquid construct of a wall that protected him from Clotho's attack.
"And now for this!" He smirked, before kicking the wall causing it to fall on top of Clotho.
"Gggh, damn it! Get this off and take me seriously!" she roared, while struggling around.
"Hehe, no way, I'd be crazy if I did that." Gotchard grinned, jumping on to the wall "Now how about we finish- huh? WOAH!"
Gotchard and the wall were then shot into the air as Clotho used the helicopter blades to create a whirlwind knocking them into the air.
"I'm the only one who'll finish this you bastard!" She roared, before firing several missiles towards the floating wall causing a large explosion, spreading some of the liquid constructs goo everywhere.
"Ugh, gross!" Clotho scoffed, as slime covered her entire monster form before she spotted the Gotchadriver covered in the goo which had two lines of goo connected to her. "At least we're finally do-huh?"
Clotho struggled a bit however no matter how much she tried she wouldn't budge "Why can't I move!"
"That would be because of me."
Clotho's eyes widened before she looked back to see Gotchard's head forming on her back as the goo around her got tighter "What! You switched to your wild form!"
"Yup! And like I said, it's time to finish this!" he grinned, as the goo around the driver and the lines connecting to the main lifted up.
Arms then sprouted out before from the goo surrounding the driver as it pushed on the driver causing energy to begin charging.
The arms then shifted to a pair of boots which pulled back like a slingshot while Clotho continued struggling.
"Here we go!" Gotchard yelled, before pushing the driver's levers as he pulled them while his feet were shot towards Clotho.
ENERGYMARU! FEVER!
"GAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Clotho screamed, before she was kicked far back causing a large explosion that released the chemy.
Gotchard then reformed and switched to his rider form as he lifted a blank card, capturing the Chemie "Gotcha! Glad to see your okay Gekiocopter."
"Oco! Oco! Ocopter!" Gekiocopter grinned, moving around in the card.
"Now to go and help Elpis." Gotchard nodded to himself before running off.
"HAH!" Valvarad yelled, as she slashed widely at Lachesis who dodged each strike.
"Fufufu, you'll need to try harder than that dear sister!" Lachesis smirked, moving away from Valvarad.
"Why! Can't! I! Hit! You!" Valvared yelled, before thrusting forward at Lachesis who disappeared.
"W-What…ugh." she blinked, before gripping her head and stammering a bit "What's happening to me."
"How adorable, you never even noticed." She heard, turning around to the voice but her vision was too dizzy to see properly.
"I wanted you to hit my Pollen bombs earlier, so you can go and inhale the pollen." Lacehsis explained before smirking. "And now you won't be able to fight properly."
"GAH!" Valvarad cried as she was struck in the chest by Lachesis, she tried slashing at her but was met with a kick to the face.
"You say that you're not weak anymore and you may have that new armour." Lachesis stated, as she took a stance "In truth, you're the same little runt that we all hated!"
"GAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Lachesis then dashed forward striking Valvarad several times before kicking her, sending her flying back.
"G-Guh…" Valvarad growled, forcing herself back up as her armour began sparking "D-Damn it, I-I can't lose here!"
"Still have some fight in you huh?" Lachesis questioned, before grinning "How about this, because I love my dear little sister so much~ I'll give you one shot, if you can see me."
"Hah…hah…no…no I won't lose here…I-I can't…" Valvarad muttered as the sparks continued to fly "There has to be something any-ugh…"
Valvarad went silent before she moved up and held her sword in front of her before she twisted the black bolt on the hilt.
SCRAP!
A manifestation of Mad Wheel then appeared around her before absorbing into the armour which was covered in a purple aura.
"W-What." Lachesis blinked, as she got ready to take the strike while Valvarad swung her sword in an X shape.
VALVARA BREAK!
An X shaped energy slash was shot forward forcing Lachesis to raise her arms to block the attack.
"G-GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" she screamed, before exploding releasing not only Ganganchoucho but also Pilets
The Two chemies flew out before being absorbed into two blank cards that Gotchard held, having just arrived "Gotcha! Glad to see you guys are alright! Nice job Elpis…Elpis?"
"Gah" Lachesis cringed as Valvarad stepped on her chest before pointing the Valvarusher at her neck "Y-You what do you think you're doing.
Valvarad was silent as he looked down at the girl making her raise an eyebrow "E-Elpis."
SCRAP!
Valvarad raised the blade ready to strike Lachesis but before she could a blast was shot at her.
"ELPIS!" Gotchard yelled, running up to her as she returned to normal only for his eyes to widen "Wait, she's passed out?"
"Hey brat!" he heard, before turning to Clotho who was holding up Lachesis "We'll be back for your Driver and the Traitor so just you wait"
The two then leave Yuya alone with Elpis, not sure what he should do.
And done woo boy that took awhile, I would have finished this chapter earlier but I was on holiday in brussels during the weekend.
But dang, this story is way more popular than I expected to be, I hope you guys like how I did Elpis, especially making her Valvarad.
Now just to say, she's still going to become Majade but that's not for a good bit later.
Not only that but I'm getting even closer to getting to the beginning of the anime's story arc.
But for now how about we get to the reviews, and man this is going to be a long one.

Thanks glad you like the story and yeah I'm a new fan of Symphogear too so I'm still learning as I go and Daybreak was what convinced me to do this story. I honestly considered keeping Kanade alive but then I thought about and like, it's pretty much become a trope to keep her alive so might as well break it. I really love Yuya and Hibiki's relationship as well and can't wait to see how I work it for the rest of the story.
Yeah that's fair but that's just what I had to do to get everything set up, hopefully this chapter didn't feel nearly as bloated. I usually change to Oc's for this story and we'll have to see where Masaki's story goes. I'm glad that you liked the personality I gave Hopper1 and Steamliner as well as their relationship with Yuya.
Glad that you at least defended Tsubasa mistaking Gotchard for Daybreak, there are multiple reasons why it works.
For a while people have told me how first person POV aren't a good idea so I sort of phased them out, and I kept mixing up which are first and which are third, but if you think I should add them in.
Also I'm happy you've read my story, your 555 and Nep fic was one of the first I read on this site, so I hope you read more of my stuff.
