Angara, who had gone back to her office, opened the door to find Garrett with a thoughtful expression on his face.
"Everything alright, Garrett?" Angara asked.
"I was looking over this paper that Tia gave you." Said Garrett.
"Anything wrong with it?" Angara asked as she went to sit at her desk.
"The time away for the staff visiting family. It isn't very much time. For some, it takes two or three days to get to their village." Said Garrett.
He explained further about what he meant. Angara now understood what he was speaking about. Garrett then handed the paper, and she made the changes. She then signed the paper, and asked that Garrett get it to Tia. He was confused, but Angara told him, that Tia would have time to inform the staff at supper. He understood, and took the sheet to Tia. Angara then started busy herself with other paperwork that she had.
Garrett found Tia in the kitchen helping to ready supper. He called to her, and when she turned, she had an annoyed look on her face.
"I'm busy Garrett, what do you need?" Tia asked.
"Lady Angara asked me to give this to you." Said Garrett.
Tia took the paper, and seen that it was the paper she gave Lady Angara that morning. As she continued to look over the page, she noticed some changes.
"There are changes." Said Tia.
"Yes, I explained to Lady Angara that some of the staff have to travel two or three days to get to their villages. Lady Angara understood, and made the changes you see." Said Garrett.
"Thank you. I'll explain this to the staff just before we all eat supper." Said Tia.
"Very well, I will return later to eat as well." Said Garrett.
"See you then." Said Tia.
Garrett then took his leave, and Tia folded the paper, and put it in her apron pocket.
About an hour later Garrett returned to have lunch Tia, and the staff. Once the table was set, and everyone was seated. Tia stood, and got everyone's attention.
"Alright everyone, there is something I need to tell you before we start eating. I got the time off request back from Lady Angara, with some changes." Said Tia.
There were murmur's, but Tia called for their attention again.
"I was unsure about how much time she would allow. So, I put down a week, but Garrett explained that some of you have to travel two, or three days. With that, Lady Angara is giving you a month off, with that month's pay." Said Tia.
"We'll still have our jobs when that month is over?" Alana asked.
"Yes." Said Tia.
After that everyone began to eat. It was only minutes later, and Tia heard one of the maids say she couldn't stand the bitter tea, and then heard Alana tell them to put some honey in it. When lunch was over, one of the maids broke off to put together Lady Angara's lunch. When it was near finished Tia went to get the Lady. Tia arrived at the door to Lady Angara's office, she knocked, and then went in.
"Lady Angara, I came to inform you that your lunch is ready." Said Tia.
"Thank you, Tia. I was thinking that when the first group of staff go on their leave. Have it start on the first of the month so that it is not hard to know when they are to return. Do that with each group that goes." Said Angara.
"Yes, of course." Said Tia.
Garrett then entered the room, and seen that Lady Angara was still at her desk. Angara seen him, and knew that it was time to go eat. She got up, and said that she was going to go eat. Garrett bowed, and Tia followed Angara out of the office.
