The story starts off with Hanamaru in the hallway, reading a book by herself. That is, until shows up, holding something behind her back.

"Zuramara, stop what you're doing for a sec and check it this out" Yoshiko instructed with a smile

Hanamaru stops looking at her book to look at her childhood friend.

"Alright, what is it this time, zura?" Hanamaru questioned, looking at Yoshiko skeptically

"Feast your eyes upon this!" Yoshiko then presented a plate, which had a small crack in a corner with words on it. Hanamaru looked at the plate, then look at Yoshiko's face.

"You interrupted my reading...for a plate?" Hanamaru looked almost dumbfounded at the item.

"Hey, it's not just any plate, y'know." She defended with a pout as she held it higher for Hanamaru to see. "It's a plate with words. Check it."

Although Hanamaru wasn't interested in the plate at all, she sighed and began to read what was on it.

"Kanon Mitsuri. Godmother of all." Hanamaru read, but this didn't ease her disinterest one bit. "This is so corny, zura."

"You call it corny, but I call it awesome." Yoshiko claimed as she hugged the plate to her chest. "And an awesome plate like deserves an awesome food item on it."

"Like what?" Hanamaru couldn't help but question what Yoshiko was talking about.

The self-proclaimed fallen angel smirked before giving her answer. "Chocolate...cake."

"Heh. Figured. You and your chocolate, zura." Hanamaru chuckled, knowing her friend all too well.

"Yeah, that's right. And me and chocolate cake are about to have an awesome date in my belly!" Yoshiko declared, receiving a another chuckle from Hanamaru.

"Well, good luck trying to get a free one from the school. In order to do that, it would need be your birthday." Hanamaru remarked.

But that when Yoshiko had an idea, showing from the smirk growing on her face.

"Well, who's to say it's not my birthday?"

"Wait, what?" Hanamaru questioned, looking confused.

"Or who's to say it's not your birthday?!"

"But my birthday isn't even until March." Hanamaru reminded her friend.

"Well, who needs to wait a month when we can have cake today?" Yoshiko said before dancing and celebrating. "Free caaaake!! Free caaaaake!!"

"Oh my god..." Hanamaru muttered at her friend's antics.

Then, it cuts to the two talking to Dia outside. After hearing what Yoshiko said, this is what she had to say.

"It's neither of you girls' birthday. I would know." That instantly shut down Yoshiko's scheme.

"Aw, goddamn it" Yoshiko cursed under her friend before beginning to do a sad dance. "No caaaake... No caaaaake."

"I told you, zura." Hanamaru told her friend with an unsurprised face.

But suddenly, Mari and Chika pop out from behind a tree.

"But it is Kanan's shiny birthday!" Mari informed cheerfully.

Once Mari said that, Yoshiko quickly turned to her with excitement.

"Wait, really?!" She asked eagerly.

"It's true! Today's February 10th!" Chika chimed in happily

"WOOHOO!!!" Yoshiko cheered, jumping up and down and starting back up her chant. "Free caaaaake! Free caaaaaaake!!"

"But she's very private about it this year, so we can't guarantee a big party." Dia stated with a serious look.

"Damn it!" Yoshiko cursed again and went back to doing her sad dance. "No caaaake...No caaaaake..."

"Wait, Kanan-san's gonna be private about her birthday?" Hanamaru asked, confused how someone could want that on their birthday of all days.

"It's true." Mari confirmed with a slightly dissapointed look. "Kanan said she's gonna be in the woods."

"But why?" Yoshiko asked curiously as well, scratching her head.

"We aren't exactly sure. She never told us the reason." Dia claimed.

"I don't know, but that doesn't seem all that fair. Kanan-san deserves a party, zura.'' Hanamaru suggested, feeling bad for her friend.

"Guys, Maru-chan's right." Chika chimed in as she stepped out from behind the tree to face the group.

"Whenever something goes wrong, who's there to help us? It's Kanan-chan. Sure, she may be a quiet girl, but she's our really sweet friend and she's always there for us. I know she really wants a party, but she's just shy to ask for one. She deserves a party."

"And cake. Don't forget cake." Yoshiko interjected.

The girls all knew this was true. No matter what, Kanan was a sweet girl who was there for her friends, and since it was her birthday today, they knew she deserves something special. The speech even brought Mari to happy tears

"Oh, you're so right, Chika-chi! We need to throw Kanan a shiny party!" Mari wiped her teara and turned to the other girls. "Right, everybody?"

All the girls nodded and chattered in agreement.

"Then, it's settled." Dia decided as she turned to Chika, You, Hanamaru, and Yoshiko.

"You four go get Kanan-san and see what she says. If she agrees, we can have a party."

"You got it, Dia-chan!" Chika accepted, with the rest of the three nodding in agreement

It then shows the four in the clubroom, discussing on how they're gonna get Kanan to her birthday party.

"So, any suggestion on how to tag Kanan-chan along for her birthday?" Chika asked, looking at the others.

"I got one!" Yoshiko quickly piped up.

"Let's hear it then, Yoshiko-chan." Chika eagerly offered to listen as all eyes fall on the first year.

"Alright, hear me out." Yoshiko began to explain her idea. "We get a van. We restrain, then knock her out. We take her into said van, and BAM!! Happy birthday to Kanan, and free cake."

After she finished explained, the three all look at her with concern and surprised. It was silent for a moment as they continued to stare at Yoshiko.

"What?" She asked as if her plan wasn't a literal kidnap attempt.

"Yoshiko-chan...that's kidnapping." Chika finally spoke and told the blue-haired first year.

"Yeah? So?"

Hanamaru blinked in surprise. "You did not try to brush off a kidnap attempt, zura."

"Aw, come on. You heard what Dia said back there. She's gonna be private about it this year." Yoshiko recalled.

"Yeah, but Kanan-chan's our friend, zura. And we're not doing that to her on her birthday." Hanamaru informed, looking quite upset.

"And even if we did, it's a fricking challenge to restrain Kanan-chan." You added. "Take it from me and Chika-chan. We've tried."

Chika nods in agreement and adds "Yeah. That girl is strong as hell."

Yoshiko groaned in frustration

"Well, that sucks. What's the point of giving Kanan a surprise without a van?" Yoshiko complained, but it was then that a lightbulb clicked in Chika's head as her expression lights up.

"Guys, that's it! We throw Kanan-chan a surprise party!" Chika exclaimed happily.

"With a van?" Yoshiko asked hopefully.

"Uhhhh...not exactly, Yoshiko-chan. Sorry." Chika sheepishly told the first year, to which she pouts.

"I mean, that could work." You agreed to idea.

"Me too, zura." Hanamaru added as well.

"...Well, I'm not happy we can't use vans." Yoshiko huffed in dissapointed, but then smiled. "But on the other hand...FREE CAKE!!"

"That's the spirit, Yoshiko-chan!" Chika praised and she bounced on her toes excitedly. "With an offer like that, there no way she's gonna say no."

Much later, with Kanan, Chika was dead wrong.

"Aw, what do you mean no, Kanan-chan?" Chika whined in dissapointed.

Kanan looked up from the book she was reading and told her friend straight up.

"I mean I can't hang out with you guys after school. I've got important stuff to attend to."

"But...but it's your birthday today, zura." Hanamaru told her in an attempt to change Kanan's mind, but she didn't budge.

"I know that, but that doesn't mean I can up and leave what I have to do." Kanan said seriously as she stood up from her seat and began to head off. "Now if you four will excuse me, I wanna be left alone."

But before she could continue walking, she felt the hands of someone grabbing her arms. It was none other than Yoshiko.

"Don't you dare leave us, Kanan! We can't do this hang-out without you." Yoshiko yelled, trying to convinced Kanan.

"Yoshiko...Let go of my arm please." Kanan instructed calmly, not bothering to turn her head in Yoshiko's direction.

"But you-"

"I said, let go of my arm." Kanan repeated more firmly this time as the muscles in her arm tensed up.

Yoshiko wanted to argue, but she was terrified of what Kanan might do to her and wasn't about to find out. So, she slowly lets go of the third year's arm. With that, Kanan exits the room, leaving the four by themselves.

"Well, that failed miserably." You muttered in dissapointment.

"Welp, I'll go find a van." Yoshiko declared and start to walk off in an attempt to find a van.

"What is it with you and vans, zura?" Hanamaru asked her friend in bewilderment, grabbing the back of her uniform top and stopping her. "We're not doing that, zura!"

"So then, the hell are we supposed to do?" Yoshiko wanted an explanation, clearly frustrated.

"We don't know yet, but I know that we're not kidnapping Kanan-san, zura!" Hanamaru informed, getting fed up with the whole situation.

"But seriously, guys, what do we do now" Chika spoke in hopes for an answer. With Kanan's current behavior, it wouldn't be easy to try and bug her into coming by normal means. Suddenly, an idea clicked in Yoshiko's mind.

"Guys, I have an idea!" She exclaimed in a similar way to Chika. Hanamaru thought it was another kidnap attempt and was about to scold her.

"And before you say it, Zuramaru, no. It's not a kidnap attempt this time." Yoshiko clarified, already knowing her friend by now.

Hanamaru simply sighed.

"What is it then?" Hanamaru questioned as she crossed her arms.

"All we gotta we do is lie!" Yoshiko said with a smile.

"Lie?" Chika repeated the last word, confused.

"Exactly. All we gotta do is lie to Dia about Kanan agreeing to the party, get the cake, and figure out the Kanan part later." Yoshiko explained, her smile growing a bit mischievous.

The others thought that over. On one hand, they didn't feel right lying to Dia and possibly triggering her temper. But on the other hand, this was cake they were talking about. And it indeed would be easy to get the cake first and figure out what to with Kanan.

'To be honest, that's not a bad idea." Chika decided.

"Yeah." You spoke up, also liking the idea. "Maybe it would give us more time to get Kanan-chan to cool down."

"I don't agree to this one bit, but at this point, I'm open to anything." Hanamaru admitted, seemingly hesitant with the idea, but just goes along.

"HELL YEAH!!" Yoshiko exclaimed in excitement as she began to go back to dancing and chanting. "Free caaaaake! Free caaaaaaaaaaake!!"

Chika then began to chant and dance as well. "Free caaaaaake! Free caaaaaaaaake!!"

After that, it shows the four walking up to Dia outside, who is looking through a clipboard. She looks up and notices the four.

"Oh, hello, you four." Dia greeted as she turned to them with a questioning look. "What did Kanan-san say about the party?"

"She said yes." Yoshiko answered quickly before anyone else got a chance to speak.

"Really? How did you convince her?" Dia asked in slight bewilderment. There's no way Kanan willingly agreed to something like this. Not in Dia's eyes at least.

"Well, we just told her that we're gonna have a party!" Chika told Dia with an eager smile.

"And an extra large triple milk chocolate cake." Yoshiko added, bouncing slightly.

"Is that so..?" Dia uttered with a little skeptism, but ultimately agreed. "If you say so, then OK."

Dia then pulled out a key from her skirt pocket and gave it to Chika.

"This is the key for the cake display at in the lunchroom. Use it to get the cake and I'll see you four at the party." Dia said, making the instructions clear.

"Got it, Dia-chan." Chika agreed as she accepted the key and ran off along with the others.

"But if this is a trick, you four are in serious trouble!" Dia shouted her warning after the running girls. Most of them headed the warned, except for Yoshiko, who just cared about the cake.

Eventually, the girl make it to the cake display in the lunchroom, like Dia had said. Chika inserts the key into the key and twists, successfully unlocking the display. And the very second it's open, Yoshiko reaches her hands up and grabs the extra large milk chocolate cake, panting happily.

"We did it! The cake is finally mine!" Yoshiko celebrated and bragged in a ecstatic manner, making Hanamaru looked at her in a deadpan manner

"Alrighty then. Now that we got the cake, Yoshiko-chan and Hanamaru-chan." Chika began to speak as the two first years look at her. "You two go find and get Kanan-chan. Me and You-chan are gonna help set up the party."

"You got it, Chika-chan." Hanamaru confirmed, giving a thumbs up to the two girls.

"Uh-huh, uh-huh." Yoshiko quickly nodded in agreement, but it was mostly due to her being distracted with staring at the cake.

"Good! See ya guys" Chika said as she and You walked away waving goodbye.

With both second years gone, Yoshiko took this moment to do what she's been wanting to do since the morning. She practically feels her heart pounding in excitement as she lifts the lid of the cake covering. She opened her mouth wide and was about to take a huge bite, but before she could, Hanamaru closed the lid and took the cake into her possession.

"Yoshiko-chan, no! Remember what Dia-chan said?" Hanamaru reminded her friend in a stern manner. "We're gonna get in serious trouble if the cake is eaten early, zura!"

"Worth it." Yoshiko responded as she tried to lift the lid up and bite the cake again, but Hanamaru pulls it back.

"No way. This is for Kanan's birthday only, zura." Hanamaru remained serious as she began to walk down the hallway with the cake.

"Hey, wait!" Yoshiko shouted as she started to follow her friend to catch up with her.

Meanwhile, the rest of Aqours are setting up the party in the gym. Mari is seen setting up party streamers while singing Happy Birthday in english. Riko and Ruby were setting up snacks. Chika and You were deciding on what else extra they could put up on the walls.

"You think Kanan-chan would mind if we hang up one or two baby pics?" Chika asked, holding up two pictures that featured Kanan as an adorable baby. One had her hugging a blanket with a smile and another one had her sucking on a pacifier.

"Well...Since it is her 18th birthday, I guess I'd be fine." You thought and guessed. "But they might have to get taken down if she says so."

"Yeah, I know, but she's just so cute in these pictures." Chika gushed over the oh-so cute pictures of baby Kanan.

On the other side, Dia makes an announcement.

"Girls, it's almost 3:30! Someone get the lights!" Dia instructed, with Riko following the order quickly.

The gym was shrouded with nothing but darkness once the lights came on. Some of the girls looked a bit nervous.

"O-Onee-chan. I don't wanna be in the dark for so long..." Ruby scaredly told Dia. That's when she felt a gentle hand rub her head affectionately.

"Don't worry, Ruby." Dia spoke, her voice motherly and soft. "We won't be like this for long. We just need to-"

Dia's comfort was cut short by the sound of clothes being ruffled, unfastened, and thrown onto the floor. Everyone in the room looked around for the source in confusion, but at that moment, a voice cried out.

"Woooooo!! I can't wait to see how Kanan-chan reacts to seeing what we look like on her sweet 18!" You exclaimed.

It took no genius to know that You had literally stripped naked. Although her naked body couldn't be seen in the darkness, the girls felt a bit weirded out.

"You-chan...are you naked?" Chika hesitantly asked, already knowing the answer, but afraid to know.

"Uhhhh...yeah? Why wouldn't I be?" You confirmed that she was indeed naked, further the others' feelings.

"You-san, we're not doing that. It's not that type of party." Dia informed.

A silence hanged for a bit as You realized.

"It's not..?"

"No." Dia answered sternly.

"Oh..."

Another silence hanged in the atmosphere. The fact that You was the only one naked in this had made this way awkward than it's supposed to.

"No one turn on the lights..." You quietly uttered in embarrasment.

"We weren't planning to." Dia assured, sounding a bit disgusted.

And with that done, we then see the two first years wandering in the forest in search for Kanan. Yoshiko looked rather bored.

"Why are we even in the woods when we could be eating the cake?" Yoshiko asked, still bored and wanting to eat the cake.

"Mari-chan said that she's gonna be in the woods. No doubt she'll be here." Hanamari recalled, looking straight ahead.

Yoshiko suddenly felt her stomach growl in hunger, specifically for the cake. She even began to drool slightly.

"Zuramaru..." Yoshiko groaned in hunger.

"No, Yoshiko-chan. No cake." Hanamaru scolded as she clutched the cake closer.

"Aw, come on! I'm hungry over here!" Yoshiko whined in dissappointment.

"But you literally ate a sandwich before we left, zura!" Hanamaru pointed out, frustrated.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Dr. Zuramaru. I didn't know you went to medical in the past 5 minutes. How bold of you to tell me how often I wanna eat." Yoshiko sarcastically mocked, but that didn't make Hanamaru change her mind.

"We're saving it for the party and that's final, zura." Hanamaru finalized her decision as she kept walking.

But Yoshiko couldn't wait. The hunger she left for the cake was growing. The creaminess of the frosting. The chocolate flavor. The spongy chocolate bread. It all made Yoshiko want it more. So, she snaps.

"I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE!!!" Yoshiko exploded, taking Hanamaru by surprise. "I WANT THAT CAKE IN MY BELLY NOW!!!"

After that outburst, Yoshiko charged full force at Hanamaru and tackled her. The shorter girl didn't have time to react before the weight of her friend tackling her hit hard. The cake flies out of Hanamaru's hands in the air, still sealed by the plastic covering. The self-proclaimed fallen angel takes the chance to go after the cake, leaving Hanamaru behind, but the other first-year was quick to stand up and run after Yoshiko.

Hanamaru was the smallest of the 9 girls, but was by no means, extremely tiny. So it wouldn't be hard for the girl to be able to run fast. Using her smaller size to her advantage, Hanamaru ducked down and tackling Yoshiko to the ground before she could get close to the cake. Despite her small build, Hanamaru kept a pretty strong grip on Yoshiko's arms and legs by locking them together.

"Yoshiko-chan, stop it!! I'm not gonna let you ruin Kanan-san's birthday, zura!!" Hanamaru shouted, trying to hold on as tight and as long as she can.

"Well, I'm not gonna let you ruin my chance at free cake!!" Yoshiko retorted, trying her best to escape, but surprisingly felt that impossible to do so.

Suddenly, an odd sound from a close distance is heard, causing the struggle to end. Hanamaru is the first to stand up and listens closely.

"You hearing that, zura?" Hanamaru's voice lowered to a whispered as the odd sound continues.

"Oooo, sounds like an ancient ritual..." Yoshiko was intrigued by the sound. She then turned around to Hanamaru with eagerness. "What do you say we check it out?"

"I guess it couldn't hurt, zura." Hanamaru shrugged as she and Yoshiko set off farther into the woods for the source of the strange sound.

After some moments of looking around, they spot a blue glow behind a bush. The two first years carefully creep near it and peak through it.

There, they see Kanan, while shaking a baby rattle for some reason, skipping around a blue bonfire, harmonizing in a strange way.

Hanamaru looked on and had several questions. Why was Kanan doing this on her birthday? Who was it for? Why didn't she say it sooner? It was all so confusing.

Yoshiko, meanwhile, stiffled a laugh at the dance to hold back how ridiculous it looked to her.

"W-What the hell is Kanan doing?" Yoshiko questioned, snickering a bit from just watching the act go down.

"I don't know, but it looks important." Hanamaru guessed, still watching as Kanan shook the rattle and hopped circles around the bonfire. "This is probably why she wanted to be alone of her birthday, zura."

"That's nice, and all, but we gotta hurry up and eat some delicious cake." Yoshiko said, smirking mischieviously at Kanan.

"Yoshiko-chan, forget about the stupid cake, zura...?!" Hanamaru loudly whispered to Yoshiko, frustrated by her friend's antics.

However, it was too late. Yoshiko had already ran out of the push and was heading towards Kanan.

"Yoshiko-chan, stop!" Hanamaru tried to stop her friend, but once again, it became too late.

Yoshiko was quick to grab Kanan by the arm and try to pull her back, pausing the dancing.

"You're coming with us, Kanan!" Yoshiko urged as she kept tugging on the older girl's arm.

"Yoshiko, what the hell are you doing?!" Kanan felt shocked at the younger girl pulling on her arm. No longer, the bonfire went out and the rattle broke into tiny pieces.

"Yoshiko-chan!!" Hanamaru yelled angrily as she stepped out of the bush and closer to the two.

"Yoshiko, you fool! You can't just interrupt a spirit dance like that! Don't you've realized what you've done?!" Kanan berated the first-year, upset her dance was interrupted, all Yoshiko cared about was the cake.

"Aw, quit your worrying, Kanan. You can finish what you want. Right now, we've got a party and cake to get to, birthday girl!" Yoshiko casually brushed off Kanan's words for her own selfish needs and went to grab Kanan's arm again.

But before she could, the third-year suddenly dissapeared with a literally poof. Yeah. Kanan had literally dissapeared for no reason at all. You don't see that often, huh?

"W-Whu...How...Where'd she go, zura?" Hanamaru was at a lost for words. She was shocked to the core at what she just saw.

"I have no idea.." Yoshiko admitted in confusion and surprised.

"This is bad, zura! Kanan-san's gone now!" Hanamaru panicked, worried for the safety of her friend.

"Yeah, true. No Kanan, no cake." Yoshiko sulked, crossing her arms.

Hanamaru came out of her panicked state and glared at Yoshiko. Of all time to be thinking of goddamn. As a matter of fact, Yoshiko's obsession with wanting to eat the cake was what led to this whole thing. It was time she was set up. So, Hanamaru pulled her left hand back and smacked Yoshiko in the back of her head as hard as she could. The blue haired chuunibyou let out a sharp cry of pain as the hit connected.

"This is no time to worry about the fricking cake, zura! OUR FRIEND JUST DISSAPEARED IN FRONT OF OUR EYES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!" Hanamaru exploded herself, fed up with her friend's behavior up until now.

"Alright, Alright, I'm sorry!" Yoshiko finally apologized, rubbing the back of her head to soothe the pain. "But where the heck are we even gonna find her?"

Yoshiko's question was luckily answered by the sight of a bright light up ahead.

"I think that's our answer, zura. Come on." Hanamaru began to run towards the light, with Yoshiko doing the same.

And so, after a bit of running, the two are greeted by the sight of 3 giant floating guardians with the number 18 shaped hats above Kanan. The girl herself looks nervous, gulping and sweatdropped.

"Kanan Matsuura." The first guardian spoke, his voice deep and serious. "You have failed to complete the spirit dance on your sweet 18. As punishment, you will be reverted all the way back to an infant."

The guardian snaps his fingers and just like, Kanan immediately turned into a small baby. Hanamaru reacts quick and scoops baby Kanan into her arms, now facing the 3 guardians along side Yoshiko.

"It appears new mortals has come into view, brothers." The second guardian observed, narrowing his eyes.

"Hey, listen, w-we're friends with Kanan-san. Please, you gotta change her back." Hanamaru tried to negotiate with the guardians as Baby Kanan giggled and played with her hair.

"No can do. What's done is done." The first guardian refused, shaking his head.

"But my friend just stupidly interrupted the dance was all, zura." Hanamaru explained.

"Yeah. Can't you guys just let her finish the dance?" Yoshiko added and tried to change the guardians' mind, but they didn't budge.

"A decision of the Sweet 18 guardians cannot be overturned." The third guardian informed seriously.

At this point, Hanamaru felt defeated. Since the guardians refused to change Kanan back, it was hopeless. She now held the happy baby in her hands to where she was facing her, looking into her eyes and not seeing any traces of the cool, mature, and friendly girl she was used to. That fact alone made Hanamaru begin to have tears in her eyes..

"K-Kanan-san...I don't know if you can hear me, but me and Yoshiko-chan are very sorry." Hanamaru's voice quivered and broke as her lips trembled. "You don't deserve this...Not your birthday."

Hanamaru couldn't take it anymore and quietly sobbed while hugging her baby friend. Baby Kanan couldn't fully register what was happening and let out a few more cute babbles and gurgles.

"Y-Yeah..." Yoshiko spoke up, sniffling and looking close to crying herself. "A-All we wanted was to have a party and have cake.."

The minute the word cake is said, the three guardians' eyes widen in surprise.

"Cake? Did you say cake?" The first guardian asked, looking interested.

"Uummm...no?" Yoshiko tried to lie with a nervous smile.

"Wait. Brothers, do you sense what I sense?" The second guardian asked the two other guardians, hoping they felt what he feels.

"Yes. The cake. There's cake in the area." The third guardian sensed, smiling in delight.

"Hmmm..." Hearing the guardians' words gave Hanamaru a bright idea. She took a step forward and faced the guardians with a brave look.

"So, you guys like cake, right, zura?" Hanamaru asked all three guardians.

"Indeed. Cake is our favorite snack." The first guardian confirmed, looking even more interested. "Do you happen to have cake with you?"

Hanamaru smirked and said "As a matter of that I do." She turned to Yoshiko. "Yoshiko-chan, show them."

"Seriously?" Yoshiko questioned, not pleased by the request, but Hanamaru gave an angry glare that had no room for dissagreement. So, hesitantly, she pulled the cake from behind her back.

The three guardian's expressions like up once the cake comes into view, their stomach's beginning to growl like a beast.

"Yes. Cake to sedate our hunger!" The first guardian felt excited by the cake.

"Give us the cake please." The second guardian pleaded, his giant hunger for the cake noticable as well.

"We'll even restore Kanan Matsuura's original age back for it." The third guardian offered, with the other two nodding with agreement.

"That's just what I wanted to hear, zura." Hanamaru felt proud she finally got the offer she needed. She turned to Yoshiko-chan. "Yoshiko-chan, I need the cake, zura."

"N-No way!" Yoshiko stubbornly refused, hugging the cake close to her body.

"Come on, stop being greedy! Do you want Kanan-san to be stuck as a baby forever, zura?" Hanamaru tried to change Yoshiko's mind, pointing to Baby Kanan who went back to giggling and playing with her hair.

Slowly, but surely, Yoshiko knew Hanamaru was right. Yeah, Kanan was cute as a baby, but this was certainly not normal at all. I mean, what would Kanan's family think when they saw their 17, now 18 year old daughter/granddaughter/niece/cousin as a baby again. It wasn't normal at all, and Yoshko knew this needed to happen. With a heavy sigh, she gave the cake to Hanamaru.

The short first-year set the cake down cautiously in front of the guardians. In an instant, all three of them came down quickly and began to go to down the cake. The sound of chomping, chewing, and the cake being torned filled the air. Hanamaru watched in surprised while Yoshiko was disgusted.

Soon enough, the three had finished the cake, extremely content.

"That was the best cake I've ever had in months." The first guardian admired, letting out a burp.

"Well, you all got your cake, now change Kanan-san back and send us to Uranohoshi Girls' High School's gym, zura." Hanamaru instructed sternly.

"Done."

With a snap of their fingers, the three were instantly teleported to their schools gym, which was still pretty dark.

"Guys, what the hell is going on?" Kanan asked the two first years, confused about what's going on.

"Well, you see-"

But before Hanamaru could explain, the other 6 girls popped out of their hiding spaces.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KANAN!!" They all shouted in celebration.

"Let's get this shiny party started!" Mari declared as she and Chika began to dance.

The others were busy doing other activities. Riko was giving Ruby a small piggyback ride around the gym, You and Dia were chatting amongst themselves, and Chika and Mari were...well, I already told you. But if you must know, they're still dancing together.

Meanwhile, Kanan looks down at the two first years with her arms crossed and a look of dissapointment.

"So you mean to tell me I could've been a baby forever over some cake?" Kanan's eyes narrowed as she questioned the two.

"L-Look, Kanan, I know you're mad, but check out what we got for you." Yoshiko attempted to ease the third-year by showing her the plate she showed Hanamaru earlier, except some of the words are replaced to make Kanan's

"Kanan Matsuura. Godmother of all." Kanan read the plate's edited writing, but unlike Hanamaru, she actually pretty amused.

"Basic, but still pretty thoughtful." She complimented as she patted the two's head for a bit. "Thanks, guys."

She then began to walk away, leaving the two by themselves. Yoshiko took the oppurtunity to give a sly smirk to her shorter friend.

"See, Zuramaru? I told you that plate was awesome." Yoshiko bragged about her earlier opinion of the plate. Hanamaru scoffed in response.

"Whatever you say, Yoshiko-chan..." She dismissed the bragging with a bored expression.

"Yoshiko-san! Hanamaru-san! Come over here and get some cake." Dia called to the the two girls.

"Wait, huh?" Hanamaru looked confused. If they had already gave up the cake for the Sweet 18 guardians, why are they being called up to cake?

Nonetheless, they walked up to join the others at a table, and Hanamaru and Yoshiko were shocked to see a big vanilla cake sitting there.

"A whole new cake, zura? I thought we were gonna use the chocolate one."

"Kanan-san told us everything already. I was already in fear of something happening, so-" Dia began to explain, but Mari couldn't help but interrupt and add in

"I went ahead and brought up a new delicious cake for Kanan's shiny birthday!" Mari chimed in, smiling innocently.

"Yes. That" Dia confirmed bitterly, not pleased by the interruption.

"Aw what?! Vanilla?! You've gotta be joking!" Yoshiko whined in dissapointment. Being the chocolate lover she is, this was obviously dissapointing to her.

"Cake is still cake, zura. You should be grateful you're even getting something." Hanamaru reminded the other first year.

Yoshiko hated it, but Hanamaru was right. After everything they've been through, in the end, they got a cake and a party. All's well that ends, folks.

THE END! And Happy (Late) Birthday, Kanan

Well, here it is, y'all. Kanan's birthday fic. Sadly I was jam packed between school and personal issues, so this came out way past Kanan's actual birthday. I might have birthday special for Hanamaru considering her birthday is next. Either I cover Birthday Gift or I do another Regular Show Parody fic dedicated to her. You guys can help decide. But anyway, this is PrettyCureAndLoveLiveParodyGal signing out. Stay tuned and I love y'all
