Batgirl's POV

She was crawling through the vents when she heard a commotion. She crawled as quietly as she could to the vent opening and saw two men talking about what they were going to have for dinner.

Pasta did sound nice. Especially the chicken and- gotta keep moving. She continued to crawl with the bag of Big Belly Burger in her mouth, trying to find a vent with no one around.

Artemis, KF, and Robin

"So... Supey is in this cell.. for the Hulk. Batgirl just escaped and is in the vents heading over here and Megan and Kaldur are some where near here.." Robin said, thinking out loud.

"BG..!" He whisper shouted into the vent next to him. "Follow my voice..!" He could hear shuffling and a crinkle from a paper bag getting closer. As he unscrewed the bolts from the corners of the vent cover, he could smell some food. He then remembered it had been a while since they all had last eaten.

He stood back up to his full height, Wally and Artemis standing next to him on either side while they waited for batgirl to appear. It didn't take long before she crawled out and stood with Artemis' help.

"We've gotta go..!" Wally whispered. Looking glancing around the hallway they were in. "One second. I've gotta put the cover back on." Robin replied.

"I'll do it, I'm faster." Wally grabbed the tool and quickly, but quietly put the cover back on. They sped off to a small lounge with a coffee maker, pastries, and bagels. Robin gladly grabbed a pastry and began to eat it. Artemis looked at him with wide eyes.

"I haven't eaten in a while." He smiled sheepishly. She shook her head, "they could have poisoned that or something..!"

"I don't think they had time to. Plus they call themselves heroes, and heroes don't poison people." He said confidently.

"We don't know what type of heroes they are..! They could be the ones who don't care about killing.." she turned her head to see Wally shoving food into his mouth. He turned around finally facing her when he didn't hear anyone talking anymore.

"What?"

"What do you mean 'what'? That could be poisoned!"

"But what rob said makes sense! They wouldn't hurt us!" He said with wide eyes. "We're adorable kids!"

She rolled her eyes. "I can't with you."

"You know you love me." He smiled cheekily while grabbing another bagel.

She turned back to face batgirl eating a burger and fries and robin taking a fry while she took a bite from the burger. "You want some?" She offered to Artemis.

"No thanks. I'll just get one of the pastr-" she saw that Wally was grabbing the last one. "Wally!"

"What?"

"I was gonna eat that!"

"You still can! I'm kinda full anyways.." he smiled, scratching the back of his neck as he gave it to her.

She took it from him and ate it, smiling as the filling touched her tongue. "This is so good." They all hummed.

It was quiet for while.

"Megan, Kaldur, and Conner! We still have to find them!" Artemis exclaimed, cleaning her hands.

"Oh yeah.." Robin replied, standing up from the stool.

Batgirl threw the trash away and stretched as she began to walk back towards them.

Wally.. Wally walked to the counter and grabbed a bag full of bagels.

"What?!" He said. "It's for them! Not me.!"

They hummed.

"I'm serious! If we were hungry, then they are too!"

"Okay, let's just go. We've already wasted enough time as it is."

"Robin's right, let's go." Batgirl said, following Robin out the door.

Welp. Sorry about that guys! I've been hecka lazy with writing this. It's been sitting on my phone and I haven't gone back to writing it because honestly I didn't know what to write. But then the power went out in the cities next to mine and the cell service and wifi stopped working in my house and I was hecka bored. I was swiping through my phone hoping that somehow it would start working again, when I stumbled upon some of the other fanfics I'm working on and some ideas for other ones, and then I saw this one. It only had three paragraphs, and I read it, then got an idea of what to write then it became whatever this was. And I know it wasn't long but I hope y'all enjoyed it! And I am really sorry that y'all have waited for so long!
