So, this will be the last chapter, but there will be a threequel.

Chapter 24: College Graduation
Another semi-year had passed, and the city had fully recovered from the Sinister Six attack/Prison Break/Devil's Breath Pandemic. Norman's lawyers, of course, kept him from facing charges for having a hand in the released bio-weapon. Even so, Norman actually resigned as mayor, saying he wanted to focus on his family.
As for the American Idiots; they were a month and a half away from graduation!
Meaning it was only a month and a half until Peter and MJ got married!
They were both excited, but also really nervous. Marriage was such a big step in a relationship. There were still so many things they were uncertain of, but May and Desirée assured them that it was normal to have pre-wedding jitters. What's more, they told them that they'd be there to help them every step of the way in preparation for the ceremony.
Currently, Peter, Michelle, Ned, Harry, Betty, Ava and Kate were at the couple's apartment, studying for Spring finals.
They were doing their best NOT to be distracted by typical young adult things. But none of them could help being distracted by the adorable two-year-old crawling over to her mother.
"Hi, Anya!" MJ exclaimed as she held her daughter.
"Ma~!" Anya cooed
Michelle giggled as she kissed her on the cheek, making her squeal.
"Come here, baby girl!" Ava beckoned her honorary niece.
Although they weren't related; all of Peter and Michelle's friends were named Anya's aunts and uncles. Ned definitely loved the idea. Michelle let Anya crawl over to her Auntie Ava, who picked her up and blew a raspberry on her cheek.
"You are so adorable!" Ava exclaimed.
"Is it too much to ask her to stay this size, forever?" Betty cooed in agreement.
"Kinda," Kate responded. "Sadly, kids grow up."
"Oh, come on, let me dream," Betty pouted.
"What's going on?" A new female voice asked. Said girl emerged from the guest bedroom. She was of Asian descent with bright, deep green eyes, long black hair with magenta highlights, and a faded purple mark down her right eye. (1)
Michelle went over to her, "Sorry, did we wake you?"
The girl shook her head, "I was already awake."
"Guys, this is Clarice Fong," Peter introduced the girl. "This is Harry, Betty, Ava, Kate, and you already know Ned."
Clarice waved at them; her mouth spread into a thin line.
"Clarice?" Kate spoke out. "None of us have a problem with it, but...are you...a mutant?"
"Yeah..." she answered.
Over the last year, the public, social media and various news outlets had been actively talking about what they called "The Mutant Phenomenon". Mutants were people who had something special in their DNA that gave them powers, but they usually didn't manifest until they reached a certain age. There were also some that had powers when they were born. Some mutants had physical features that identified them as mutants; like Clarice's hair, eyes, her facial mark, and her pointy ears. Ned also once met a guy with full black eyes and glowing purple/pink irises.
Mutants had apparently been around for years, but only now were the general public aware of their existence, and the world was very divisive about them. Most people didn't treat them any differently than they would treat others; with kindness and understanding. And then there were those who outright hated mutants. Some of them even protested their presence, calling them freaks and monsters.
What perplexed Michelle the most was how these mutant-haters didn't realize that their behavior was no different than the racism, prejudice and segregation during the Civil Rights Movement. That didn't seem to matter to them, though.
Then, there was incident in Bayville, New York a few months ago.
A man as big as Rhino attacked the dam. He wore some kind of crimson-colored armor and had a large dome helmet over his head. Fortunately, a group of mutant heroes showed up to stop him. On the group was a guy that fired a bright-red beam from his eyes, a redheaded girl that moved things with her mind, a girl with brown hair with white stripes that actually the large man in strength, a guy in a brown trench coat that threw things that exploded, a guy covered in ice, an Asian girl in a yellow coat that created fireworks, a boy and girl that manipulated fire, a female brunette that could phase through things, a blue skinned guy with a tail that kept disappearing and reappearing in a puff of smoke, a black kid that threw some kind of spikes from his body, and some guy whose body was covered in blue-colored fur. (2)
After the fight was over, a little girl from a large crowd of people that had been watching went over to the redhead. The two talked for a bit, the brunette joined in, and in the end; the little girl gave the other two girls a hug, which they appreciated. Some reporter came over asked them how they had powers.
The redhead answered, "Well, we're still not entirely sure; I'm not a biochemist. As far as we're aware, most babies are formed with 46 chromosomes, 22 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes. However, sometimes, there is a spare mutant gene, which usually leads to things like autism. In some people, it can lead to extra limbs. In us, it led to these mutant powers. We think about 90% of the world's population is born with this X-gene, but only actually activates in a small percentage."
The conversation went into asking if they were dangerous, but the brunette said she'd ask the same question to anyone that was given a gun; would they suddenly go on a killing spree with it? The reporter immediately answered "No", but the brunette said that she could if she wanted to.
Then she went even further, "We're not being persecuted because we have done anything; we're being persecuted because we could have if we wanted to. And I'm sorry if I sound a little emotional, but I am seventeen-years-old; four days ago, gigantic robots tried to kill me, my home was blown up and I had an army of police officers aiming loaded guns at my head! Today, we haven't eaten for several days; I'm hungry and I'm tired and I can't run anymore!"
The redhead wrapped her arms around the younger girl, feeling her dissolve into tears, choking back her own sobs, "It's alright, honey."
The American Idiots saw this on the news and social media, and their hearts went out to them. As for Clarice; Michelle saw her outside the F.E.A.S.T. Shelter. She looked like she wanted to go in, but was scared to, cause she didn't know which people would accept her or which would reject her. So, Michelle took her home to look after her for a bit.
Needless to say, Clarice was surprised, but mainly grateful.
Eventually, Peter thought of someone who could truly help her; Professor Charles Xavier. He had studied mutation for years, and even used his mansion as a safe haven/school for mutants who had nowhere else to go, or wanted to know how to control their powers. Ned created a portal that showed up in Xavier's office, and he promised to help Clarice.
Clarice thanked Peter, Michelle, and Ned for their help, saying she'd be forever grateful.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Scene Change~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A couple days later, Peter went to meet an old friend at the dock in the Financial District, Howard. John Howard was a black homeless man that Michelle and Peter (As Spider-Man) had grown close to since before they started college. He cared for a flock of pigeons that his wife Sandra had originally cared for before she passed away. Peter even had to find them scattered throughout the city when Howard got evicted and the landlord all the pigeons loose, and only one named "Pidgey" found him.
Still, Michelle and Peter liked Howard; he was a good man.
"Spider-Man!" Howard called out when he spotted him.
"Hey Howard! Hey Pidgey!" Peter greeted them as he walked over. "How are you both doing?"
"Oh, we're getting by," Howard answered. "Would you like to join us?"
"Sure," Peter sat next to him on the steps. "What did you need?"
"Sometimes I just sit here, take it all in," Howard answered. "Ferry's coming in; see it?"
Peter heard the horn and spotted the Staten Island Ferry, trying not to think about how he accidently destroyed it, once. (3)
"Yeah, you and Pidgey getting on board?"
"Think I'll skip this one, wait for the next," Howard said. "Used to love the ferry. Felt like I sailing off on an adventure."
"Howard...?"
"See that yellow skipper with the black bottom?" Howard pointed a speed boat.
"Yeah."
"Wish I could take that bumblebee out for a spin; ride it all the way across the river..." The man continued. "To those three pillars, an ancient city hidden in the clouds."
"Three pillars?"
"Over to the right, look for the red lights."
Peter spotted them, "You mean those three smokestacks? Why there?"
"I worked in that factory for twenty years," Howard told him. "Laid off... Lost my purpose for a while. And then when my wife passed...I lost my heat too. But my birds, they taught me to fly again...especially little Pidgey."
"I'm so sorry, Howard," Peter gave condolences. "Anything I can do?"
"Can you spot Lady Liberty herself? She's way over to the left."
"Yeah, there she is."
"Watch," Howard whistled, and Pidgey flew by, along with the rest of his brothers and sisters.
"Oh wow!" Peter gasped. "The flock!"
"I need your help, Spider-Man," Howard said. "I'm finally going on an adventure. But I wanna set my birds free first. Let them see the world outside this city."
"Well, they ARE pigeons..."
"Can you take them up north for me?" Howard asked him. "Somewhere peaceful..."
"I-I don't know... Howard, this is your family."
Howard shook his head, "It's their time. Try a whistle."
Peter whistled, then the birds flew around close to him,
"Okay, if you're sure."
He stood up and started web-swinging along the waterfront, with the birds following him. After thinking through a few options of where they could live; Peter finally decided on the woodsy area in Queens.
When they were almost there, Howard called,
"Hey there. Did you find a place for my babies to be free?"
"Though of a place over in Queens," Peter answered. "A woods area with tons of space for Pidgey and the gang."
"That sounds nice, thanks," Howard said. "Not many folks have been kind to me in my life..."
"Anytime Howard. And you can still take the train out to visit them. I'll come back to ya after I drop them off." No response. "Howard?" Call ended.
Peter stopped just at the entrance to the woods, "Okay guys, this is it! Your new home! Pidgey, you're in charge."
The birds made noises of what Peter could only guess was appreciation, then he headed back to Howard. But when he got there...there was an ambulance and two EMTs.
"Oh no... Howard?"
"He's in the ambulance, Peter," Karen said in a solemn tone. "Natural causes. I'm so sorry..."
Peter approached the EMTs, "Sorry, he was a friend of mine..."
One of the EMTS nodded, "Take all the time you need."
"If it helps, it looked like he was at peace," The other one said.
"He is," Peter agreed, then headed home. When he arrived, Michelle noticed how upset he looked.
"It's Howard..." Peter muttered.
Michelle's eyes widened. "No...!"
"He...told me he was going on an adventure," Peter said. "And...he wanted me to find a new home for his birds..."
Michelle screwed her eyes shut as she leaned against him, trying her best not to cry.
He wrapped his arms around her, "They're now in the woods in Queens... The EMTs said Howard was at peace..."
"Yeah...but still..." she whispered.
They hugged for a few minutes, mourning the loss of their friend. (4)
~~~~One Month Later, Graduation Day~~~~
Peter, Michelle, Ned, Betty, Harry, Ava, Kate, and the rest of their fellow graduates sat in alphabetical order facing the stage. May, Desirée, Caleb, Happy, even Pepper and Morgan were sitting in the audience.
Today was the big day: the day of their graduation!
As Chancellor Mitchell called out the first few names, no one walked up to the stage, which surprised almost everyone. But then, Michelle walked up...
"Excuse me, Chancellor Mitchell. The class nominated me to say a few words, if you don't mind?"
Chancellor Mitchell looked a bit put off, and most of the college staff were confused. But, she couldn't just turn her down.
"No, not at all," she went to take her seat.
"Thank you," Michelle then spoke into the microphone. "My name is Michelle Jones Watson. I'm a senior here at Columbia, but I'm also the student who has been petitioning for the University to divest its endowment in private prison systems across America. But recently, the administration has tried to stop my efforts by bribing me with a deal that will get rid of my student debt. If I agree and sign this NDA."
She held up the document for everyone to see, and Chancellor Mitchell went a little pale. The crowd also murmured in disapproval.
"Well you know what?" Michelle questioned, then tore the document in half. "I'm not accepting your blood money, and will not be silenced!"
She then took off her cap and gown, revealing the same orange prison jumpsuit with "STUDENT" written on the back that everyone wore as part of her protest.
"When I started this protest; my friends, plus hundreds of black and brown students stood with me. And they still do."
Peter, Ned, Betty, Harry, Ava, Kate, Lexy, Maddy, Kat, Randy Robertson, Kenny Harlan, and every non-Caucasian student stood up and also removed their cap and gowns, revealing their jumpsuits.
"Now, I'm fortunate to have more brothers and sisters stand with me."
Every other student stood up and revealed that they also were wearing jumpsuits. Surprisingly, even the members of administration that weren't Caucasian stood up as well, also wearing jumpsuits. Michelle and the Dean, Mrs. Rodriguez nodded at each other.
"The graduating class of 2029 stands united. And until our tuition dollars are divested, no student will walk this stage."
The students and parents cheered and applauded! For the first time in history, Columbia University's commencement was shut down, shocking the administration and pushing the media into a frenzy!
It was everywhere! On TV, on the radio, social media, everything!
At the graduation party, Betty was the first to see the News Alert thanks to her job at the Daily Globe, "Columbia University to Divest Immediately Following Graduation Standoff"!
"MJ, guys! We did it! They're divesting!"
"YES!" Michelle cheered. Peter gave her a hug and kissed her.
After returning home, Pepper told Peter that he'd have access to his trust fund from Tony by his next birthday, August 10th. But now there was something bigger to look forward to; his wedding to Michelle!
It was going to be amazing! It would be just perfect! At least, that's what he hoped, but things rarely ever went perfectly. After all, crime never sleeps...especially for Spider-Man. Thankfully, it was just regular crime stuff...until a new super-criminal made it personal.
One time when Michelle was out shopping with her mother, she kept getting the feeling that someone was following her. Her spider-sense kept warning her of danger, but she never saw anything. Still, she kept a sharp eye out. One couldn't be too careful.
But then, she could swear that she spotted Ethan Johnson; the guy that used to chase after her even though she was dating Peter. Though, after she had Anya, she never saw him again.
But as she headed home on the subway, that feeling returned, same with her spider-sense buzzing. When she turned down an alley to try to lose whoever was stalking her...there he was; Ethan Johnson!
"Hey Mish," he greeted.
Michelle immediately noticed that he was different; he used to exude an air of confidence in everything, he was smooth and charming, but now he seemed distant, like he was out of place, and the look of confidence in his eyes was replaced with the look of person lost and alone.
"E... Ethan..." she whispered, though she was still cautious. "What are you doing here? No one's seen you in two years."
"Yeah..." he responded. "I went overseas for somethin'..."
"Look, I've got somewhere to be," Michelle told him. "Maybe we can catch up, some other time?"
"Yeah, sure..." Ethan responded, then she left.
Once she was a block away from the alleyway, her spider-sense finally stopped. It'd been buzzing like crazy the whole time she was with Ethan, which was weird, but then again, Ethan was acting weird.
Listening to her instincts, she called Peter.
"MJ?" Peter asked on the phone. "Everything good?"
"Ethan's back in town," she said.
"Ethan?" Peter questioned. "Where's he been for two years?"
"He said he went overseas for something, but he didn't explain further," Michelle answered. "He seemed...off..."
"Did he do anything?" asked Peter.
"No," Michelle replied.
"Good, but how was he "off"?"
"He wasn't confident or charming, like he used to be. Now, he just seemed...like he was out of place in the world. Also, my tingle wouldn't stop until I was away from him."
"I'm getting a bad feeling," Peter muttered.
"So am I," Michelle said. "I'm just gonna give him a wide berth for now...and if he tries anything... I should also mention...I think someone was following me after I left my mom and got on the subway."
"You think it was Ethan?" Peter asked.
"Maybe."
"I think we should investigate."
"Yeah, good idea. Anyway, I'll see you soon."
A couple hours after Michelle got home, she and Peter called Randy Robertson to ask about Ethan, since they were friends from being on the football team.
"Honestly, I don't know what to tell ya," Randy said. "No one on the team heard from him after he disappeared without a word."
"When exactly did he leave?" Peter asked.
"When rumors started spreading that you two were having a kid," Randy answered. He even mentioned that Ethan's goal of having sex with Michelle bordered on obsessive with how he talked about it.
"...Okay, that's definitely a huge red flag," said Peter.
A couple days later, Michelle asked Betty to help her investigate Ethan.
Although it sounded unnerving; she agreed. They found out where he lived and snuck into his apartment, thanks to Michelle's powers. Inside the apartment, the walls were littered with pictures of Michelle, some of them even taken at questionable angles that focused on her breasts and her butt. The video of her getting arrested by campus security for putting up flyers was on repeat on a computer.
"MJ...this is creepy..." Betty muttered.
"Tell me about it," Michelle agreed, feeling increasingly disturbed by all this.
They looked around for more clues, and Betty found some newspaper articles about toxic chemical in the ocean, while Michelle found tickets for a boat cruise.
"...Okay, something is DEFINITELY up," said Michelle.
The next thing Betty found was some recordings in Ethan's phone, showing him at an old shipping yard. The video also dated half a year ago.
"I don't know what the fuck happened..." The recording of Ethan said. "The last thing I remember is falling off the ship, and then I woke here, but... what has happened to me?"
He showed what he meant as his left arm turned blue and fluid, like...water?
"I can turn into water and back, kind of like Sandman..." Ethan muttered. "But I can't remember anything except for my name, and falling off that ship..."
"Ohhh, that's NOT good," said Betty.
The next recording showed him in his apartment.
"I'm remembering something...or, someone... This...girl...rich deep-light brown skin, long curly dark brown hair, tall and skinny...beautiful... Who is she, and why is she the only other thing I can remember?"
Michelle's eyes widening, realizing that he was talking about her,
"Let's get out of here."
"Good idea," Betty agreed, and they left.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Scene Change~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They returned to Peter and Michelle's apartment, finding the former laying on the couch with Anya. Upon seeing it, Michelle sighed happily. This was certainly the only highlight of her day.
Peter turned to her, "Hey, how'd it go?"
"Well...we found something interesting," Michelle added. "Not to mention creepy."
"We think Ethan went on a boat cruise, fell overboard and was exposed to some toxic chemicals that mutated him?" Betty continued.
"How?" Peter asked, dreading the answer.
"He can now turn his body into water," Michelle answered. "But I think it effected his mind, as well."
"A video on his phone stated that he could only remember his name, and MJ..." Betty added.
Peter scratched his head, "Hmm...maybe we should call Professor Xavier; he's the only psychologist I know of."
Peter dialed his number and put it on speaker, then after a couple rings, a man with a British accent answered.
"Peter, is there another mutant you'd like me to take in?"
Peter and Michelle chuckled, "No, professor, thank you. I'm actually calling for your professional expertise."
"You're a psychologist, right?" Michelle asked.
"Yes, I have many advanced degrees on psychology," he answered. "Why do you ask?"
That's when Peter explained everything to him.
"Hmm, interesting..." Charles mused. "It sounds like Ethan's transformation didn't just alter his molecular structure, but his psychological one, as well. Thus, fracturing his psyche. His identity is now genetically weaved with the idea of you, Michelle being his "Anchor", if you pardon the expression. His sanity now slips through his fingers like the water he commands, leaving an empty vessel with a fixation on the one who got away."
"...I don't like the sound of that," Michelle muttered.
An hour later, after Peter went on patrol; Michelle, Betty...pretty much everyone's phones in the city issued a...flash flood warning?! Just after it started, multiple tidal waves filled the streets, washing everything away!
"What in the hell?!" he questioned as he swung across the skyscrapers.
He stuck to the side of one building and called the team, "Guys, we've got a massive flood in Manhattan! Anyone who's available, particularly fliers; get here NOW!"
He then got on the roof just as one of America's portals appeared in front of him, then she, Falcon/Captain America, Iron Heart, Nova, Kamala, Tyrone, and Amadeus Hulk came through.
"Whoa!" Nova exclaimed as he saw the flooding. "What's happening here, webs?"
"It's kind of a long story, but right now, we need to save everyone that we can, and stop the guy responsible for the floods!"
"Alright Peter, this is your turf, you call the shots," Falcon America said.
"Cap, you and America start in the Financial District," Peter instructed. "Riri, Hell's Kitchen and the Upper West Side. Kamala, Upper East. Amadeus, Greenwich. Tyrone, Harlem. Nova, you come with me!"
And with that, the teams split up.
"Okay, who are we looking for?" Nova asked.
"A guy literally made out of water," Peter answered.
"Like that?" Nova asked, pointing in fear.
In the distance was a giant made entirely out of water. It's lower half was a swirling waterspout and it's upper half was shaped like a human; defined muscle chest and arms, and a face that Peter recognized!
"Oh crap!" he exclaimed.
"THERE YOU ARE!" Ethan/Hydro-Man yelled, his voice having water effect to it.
"Ethan?!" Peter asked.
He just avoided getting grabbed by a massive, watery hand! Nova blast Hydro-Man a few times, which made him shrink a bit, but he retained his shape!
"Dude, how are we supposed to beat this guy? I don't think your webs are gonna cut it!"
"I'm working on it!" Peter responded before a tidal wave knocked him through the window of a building!
"I'll drown you...Parker!" Ethan yelled.
Peter recovered and started dodging every water attack that was sent at him!
"Hey, ixnay on the amene!"
"Jeez, this guy's like a Waterbender!" Nova commented. "But thankfully without the ice and-"
"That's it!" Peter exclaimed. "Nova, I need you to fly to my place and pick up the freeze-webs I've been working on!"
"Got it!"
After he flew off, Peter called Cap/Falcon, "Cap, you still got a number for SHIELD?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Tell them to get the city to shut all the water down!"
"I gotcha!" Falcon answered.
Peter got the top of a building, where Ethan's giant form sank into the water and reappeared in front of him, now normal sized.
"YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER FROM ME!"
"Let me refresh your memory, Anakin; she was never yours to begin with!" Peter argued. "Besides, she's not a thing!"
"SHE'S MINE!" yelled Ethan. "MINE, FOREVER! I'LL TAKE HER IF I HAVE TO KILL YOU!"
Peter spent the next several minutes dodging Ethan's water attacks and throwing thing at him, just trying to buy time until Nova and Cap/Falcon completed their tasks! Unfortunately, Peter's luck ran out as Ethan hit him and trapped him in a water bubble!
"Ha! Water Style: Water Prison!"
Thankfully, Peter was only trapped for a minute as Nova returned, with one of the Spider-Drones! Nova blasted Ethan, making him release Peter, then the drone fired a couple web cartridges into Ethan's body! But instead of incasing him in ice, they burst into flames, causing him to explode in a burst of water, which then evaporated from the heat!
"What?! No!" Peter lamented. "I told you grab to grab the "freeze-webs"!"
"I was, but MJ told me to use the flame ones," Nova held his hands up in defense.
"I'm sorry Peter," Michelle's voice spoke over his coms. "I wasn't going to feel safe unless he was permanently gone."
"MJ..."
"You know how he found out about us?" Michelle asked, but then answered her own question. "He followed me home. Because he was water, he could be anywhere at any time. He attacked the whole city to get you. If he came back, what if he came after Anya? I'll do anything to protect her Peter, anything."
Peter realized what MJ meant: Ethan had to die.
The drone then sprayed something over the spots on the ground where the water that made up Ethan's body had evaporated. The spray slowly melted the concrete, indicating that it was acid.
"Water's a force of nature, right? This way, we can make sure he doesn't return," Michelle said.
With that done, he and Nova joined the rescue efforts around the city as the water started to gradually recede. There were several civilians injured and a lot of property damage, but thankfully no casualties. Unfortunately, damage had been done to most of the churches and venues around the city, which put a damper on Peter and Michelle's wedding plans...
Until, Harry had a crazy idea that he ran by Peter, "With your connections, we could make it happen! Has MJ ever wanted to see Wakanda?"
Peter gave a knowing smirk, realizing what he meant.
~~~~~Two Weeks Later~~~~~
Peter, Michelle (Holding Anya), May, Ned, Betty, Harry, Desirée, and Caleb were aboard Wakanda's Royal Talon Fighter, flying to their destination.
As a part of the Avengers, King T'Challa considered Peter an honored guest of the Royal Family, same with his friends and family. And accompanying them for the journey was Princess Shuri!
"I can't believe we finally get to see Wakanda!" Michelle exclaimed.
"I know!" Ned agreed, practically shaking with glee.
"Do we have to bow to your brother, or-" Peter asked, but Shuri chuckled.
"No, we don't do that."
The pilot eventually announced that they had arrived.
Everyone got up and looked at the windows. There a lot of trees, and some people growing crops and caring for animals. But it wasn't too impressive.
"Wait for it," Shuri stated.
The ship flew toward a large cluster of trees, like it was gonna crash, but it actually passed through it! The trees were a holographic barrier, to hide Wakanda's civilization!
"Wow...!" Michelle whispered in awe. "Look at this, Anya!"
She clapped and giggled as she seemed to be fascinated.
"She's adorable!" Shuri exclaimed.
"Thank you," Michelle responded.
The ship eventually descended on a landing pad, where King T'Challa and General Ayo were waiting for them.
"Welcome to Wakanda, my friends!" T'Challa greeted excitedly.
"Your Highness!" Peter greeted, then he and the others crossed their arms.
"It is good to see you all," Ayo said as she and T'Challa did the same.
"Ladies, follow me, please," Shuri led the girls away, while T'Challa led the guys in another direction.
Hearing the sunset in Wakanda was beautiful, that's when the wedding was held, on the hill of Mount Bashenga. Almost all the heroes and non-supers that they knew made it. Desirée held her granddaughter as the Royal Fighter descended on the mountain, where everyone waited.
Michelle came slowly down the ramp, escorted by T'Challa. But Peter was more focused on her dress.
"...Wow...!" he whispered, his jaw slacked.
"Close your mouth before you catch flies, Peter," MJ joked.
Both of them said "I do", then...
"I pronounce this couple, husband and wife," T'Challa proclaimed, then Peter and Michelle kissed!
The audience broke in cheers!
No one knew what the future held, but one thing was certain; Peter had Michelle, Anya, Ned, May, and the rest of friends.
And that was never gonna change!
Since the MCU is waiting until AFTER "Secret Wars" to introduce the X-Men (Which is dumb); I'm introducing them early! The story I'm giving them will be a combination of the comics, movies, "X-Men: Evolution" cartoon, and a Fanfiction story AU for "Evolution" called "All's Fair In Love and War" by TitansRule.
And, I made Ethan into Hydro-Man so he'd have some kind tie-in to MJ like Morris Bench did in the 90s cartoon.
1. Blink.
2. This is a fight from X-Men: Evolution. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Gambit, Iceman, Jubilee, Magma, Pyro, Kitty/Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, Spyke and Beast vs. Juggernaut.
3. Reference to "Spider-Man: Homecoming".
4. For anyone who's played the Insomniac games, you'll remember Howard. What happened in the second game though...
I've come to realize that official writers for the Spider-Man comics, and even the MCU writers don't know how to properly write for the character. I'd even compare it to what the writers of SpongeBob did to Squidward. In the early Seasons of SpongeBob; whenever Squidward ended up in a bad situation, it was usually his own fault. But later, he just kept randomly being made miserable just because he's Squidward. And that's what the writers have done to Peter Parker, especially since No Way Home was loosely based on "One More Day", which pissed a lot of readers off. Me included.
Thankfully, Insomniac broke this bullshit status quo, just like we Fanfiction writers do.
Now, as I said; there WILL be a third story! But it'll be a while before I even start on it.
Until then, read and review, please!
