Rin and Ruri win their respective matches although Ruri was a total OTK and Rin while taking longer, used Mist Wurm to clear the board. Things go as plan up until before Shun duels Sora. Christopher still puts an emphasis to do whatever it takes and also to not card him despite his anger for a plan he has. That being he will jam his duel disk so he can never return home for interrogation purposes. Shun is hesitant, but accepts the idea. After Shun obliterates Sora on that last attack, Yuya is pissed and approaches Shun.
"What the hell man?! How could you do that?!"
"I had to do whatever it takes to avenge my fallen comrades."
"Yuya! I gave the order. It is about time you learn the truth about Sora and your father," says Christopher
(At the hospital, Standard)
Christopher enters Sora's room although because of Reiji, security allows him. Inside he takes Sora's deck puts it in his bag before connecting his laptop to Sora's duel disk. There he finds that there is no return feature. Although he deletes the carding feature before putting his laptop in his backpack and moves towards Sora who starts to stir awake.
"Could it be when I was under Zarc's influence? Although I oddly do not feel tired despite staying up all night since I suspect sleep makes me vulnerable. Maybe I should wear the bracelet more often?"
"Christopher?"
"Sora. You and I have to talk. What are your intentions because I heard everything in that duel?"
"Nothing to do with you."
"But I am sure you know somebody named Yuri."
Sora frowns
"Seems Academia told everyone of my interference since Sora normally would not know the girls are being taken. But I assume you want to find Shun because of your racist tendencies towards Xyz duelists."
"Not my fault Xyz Dimension residents are inferior to Fusion Dimension residents like myself. Anyway, where is he? Shun Kurosaki! I have to settle things with him!" yells Sora as he grabs his duel disk and gets up."
"It was already settled so keep your racism in check. I just want to talk in a civil way, but don't test my patience."
"Also your fucking all Japanese you dumbass," he also adds in English
Sora swore he saw Christopher's eyes flicker into different colours for a moment, but continues.
"I didn't lose! There's no way I would lose against a Xyz! Take me to him! I'll crush him this time! If I duel seriously, I'll beat him easily! Also speak in Japanese since all I heard was English gibberish!"
"What's all this ruckus?" says Guard 1 as he runs in with his partner
"Oh it's you. The one Reiji Akaba said to allow in. Sora Shiunin, please return to your bed until the doctor says you can be discharged."
"Screw that! Out of my way!"
Sora knocks them out and runs out with Christopher on his tail
"Very well then Sora! If you want to duel him that badly, lead me to the main park and I will call him over."
(Outside the hospital, Standard)
Yuya is on a walk and remembers what Christopher said earlier
"Sora is from the Fusion Dimension. He is part of school known as Academia who is responsible for destroying the Xyz Dimension. I saw it with my very own eyes. The Xyz Dimension is also where your father went when he left on that fateful day because somehow he knew what was going to happen."
"Dad is it true you went to Xyz? And Sora still has good in him right?" questions Yuya to himself as he looks at his pendulum
Yuya walks by the hospital and sees Yuto.
"I assume you want to check on Sora. Because part of you still views him as your friend."
Before Yuya could respond, they see guards yelling how Sora has escaped. And they look at each other in mutual understanding.
(Main Park, Standard)
"I brought you here so get Shun over now!" yells Sora to Christopher who takes Yuto position in the scene
"No because you lost before you even began."
"Grrr. Fine I will duel you out of my way!"
However as soon as Sora activates his duel disk, an error plays and there he sees his deck missing.
"What?"
"Looking for this?"
Christopher pulls out Sora deck
"Give it back!"
"How about no?" Christopher replies as he puts it in an empty deck box and zips it up in his bag.
"I will kick your ass!"
"I would like-"
Christopher starts holding his head in pain as Zarc tries to influence him.
"Ahhh. Get out of my head!"
Sora attempts to get his deck back, but is stopped when Christopher's eyes change colour.
"Naughty Pawn of Leo. It's past your playtime."
Christopher starts to move closer to Sora with intent to harm but as Sora gets battle ready, Christopher holds his head in pain again.
"You will not control me!"
Christopher snaps out of it. As soon as he does, Yuto and Yuya arrive.
"Yuya," says Sora
"Sora!"
"Please be honest with me Sora. Is it true?"
However, when he tries to answer, a light occurs and Yugo appears
"Ouch. Sheesh, why is this here? Sheesh!" he says as he takes off his helmet.
"You're..." says Yuto but he is interrupted
"You! I finally found you! I've been looking for you!" says Yugo, but directed at Christopher this time
"Yugo. I sense you want something from me."
"Give me back Rin you asshole!"
"Sure thing. If anything I will give her message to come over. This is all a misunderstanding. You may also have beef with Yuto because you saw someone who liked like him. But the one with purple hair is the problem, not the blue. I guess he saw my face or Zarc did something."
"Eh? Wait. You'll just give away your prisoner like that?"
"One she is not my prisoner. Two she would have been kidnapped for sure if I did not interfere. And three she is waiting for you."
Christopher triggers the call function and puts on the speaker setting
"Christopher? What is up?" says Rin on the other side
"Come to the main park as Yugo is here."
Rin hangs up and Christopher can tell she is going to beeline over.
"Rin."
"See. All just a misunderstanding. Instead you should be concerned about this one without a deck!"
Christopher elbows a Sora who was gradually getting closer to him
"Ouch!" yells Sora as his current injuries on top of the elbow make him fall to the ground
"And now we must figure out what to do with you."
"Why you..."
"Yuto. Help me restrain him as I have rope in my bag. Yuya. We could use help."
"Yuya please save me..."
"Sora tell me. Is it true?"
"Yes, but you wouldn't understand."
Christopher and Yuto end up being the ones to tie him up to a lamp post while he yells swears at them
"Now we just wait for Rin. Then finally you two can be happy."
"Hell yeah!"
"WHAT?! 3 of them and Christopher all at once and they won't even fight?! They must become one for my return!"
Heartbeats are heard among the dragon boys and a big headache for Christopher as they all feel pain in their bodies.
"No. Must resist...my bracelet" says Christopher weakly as he drops his bag and tries to reach for his bracelet inside. He passes out instead and reawakens under Zarc's control
"No waiting for Rin as I must destroy you all and we must become one!" yells Yugo
"I will destroy you so we can become one!" yells Yuto
"Smiles? Hah! The only smile I will see is my own once I destroy you all and become one!" yells Yuya
"Playtime's over. No more hiding, I will destroy you all so I can make you all become one!" yells Christopher with his voice getting creepy and raspy
They activate their duel disks and their eyes change to their respective berserk colours. Christopher's master rule revision goes off as well.

All four dragons get a dark aura surrounding them and Sora still tied up can only look in horror.
"What the hell is all of this? This darkness could it be?"
"I also set two cards and end my turn. Soon I will destroy you all so take your last turn System!"

"Hah! Says the one with the weakest deck! Entertainer, unlike you, we actually can search and set up negates. My turn I-"

"Not so fast Ray! System Breaker Link Dragon go after the most annoying one, Yuzu!"
Yuzu not expecting the attack is attacked in a specific way which causes her to land on her bracelet and shatter one of the jewels. Her scream however causes Christopher to snap out of control. As for Yuya, Zarc is struggling to keep control of him. Ruri and Rin run over to Yuzu.
"Are you alright Yuzu?" asks Ruri
"Yes..." she replies sees her damaged bracelet "Oh no. I won't be able to separate them now."
"Yuzu! My bracelet! In my bag! Hurry before Zarc takes control of me! It's my turn so I can turn this around!" yells Christopher as he holds his head in pain
"Girls. We have to march past those dragons. Ray said that them being damaged is not the end of the world. Ruri try to soothe Yuto," declares Rin
"You three! It's me Sora! Let me help you!"
They see him tied up
"Shut up Sora! I still have to destroy you after I destroy the rest! Your pathetic and useless without your deck!" yells Yuto
"Yuto. I know your in there! You don't want to hurt anyone anymore!"
"Ruri...No! Yuto is not home! Only Vengeance!"
Yuto despite his continued aggression is hesitant. The girls run over to Sora with Rin facing the boys in order to keep the dragons at bay with her bracelet.
"I can quickly run over and put the bracelet on Christopher."
"Why should I trust someone who helped destroy my home?" asks Ruri with spite
"Because if you three fail, I am also screwed and have nothing to gain from them becoming one."
Yuzu begins to untie Sora
"Yuzu? Why?" asks Ruri
"Otherwise we have to hope we can get close enough Ruri! We can deal with Sora later, but now is not the time!" yells Yuzu as she finishes
"I got this!"
Sora runs and Rin uses her bracelets to restrain all the dragons and boys, but it is taking a big toll on her body.
"Hurry Sora! I can't hold them for very long!"
"You can do this Sora!" cheers Yuzu
Sora gets to Christopher's bag and there he sees his deck. He could take it and run, but he just can't bring himself to do this because of Yuzu's cheering.
"What am I doing? I could run and wait for reinforcements, but Yuzu..."
Sora grabs the bracelet
"Sora hurry! Put it on me"
Rin lowers Christopher's barrier, but she falls on her knees as she loses control of the others. Sora does put it on Christopher and he regains full control, but the others are not happy especially Berserk Yuto.
"You Pawn of Leo! I had enough of you! Dark Rebellion! Show him a lesson!"
Sora attempts to run, but his injuries catch up to him and he falls. Dark Rebellion swipes at him and flings him causing him to pass out on impact.
"Sora!" cries out Yuzu
"Girls. It's now or never! I draw!

System Breaker cries out as it is sent to the graveyard. The two remaining dragons roar in fury.

"I don't want to hurt anyone Ruri..." says Yuto as he is freed
"I use Multiplier to change itself to a level 8 so I can bring out my true ace. Level 4 Nabla tunes level 8 Multiplier. Flaming cyberspace fury! Bring forth the final sum of the equation! Through it's sword shall burn the falsifications! Synchro Summon! Level 12 Enzanki Final Sigma!

All 3 girls and Christopher raise their bracelets to make sure the darkness stays away for good
"No! Ray your ruining everything! This will not be the last time!"
A bright light forms as the bracelets do their work being undeterred by the dragons and once it finishes, the dragon boys are passed out, Christopher only kneels.
Duel No Result
"Thanks girls, but how did you three get so fast?"
"I was running over when my bracelet flashed and brought all three of us together not that far from the park. I think Ray played a role. But why did you go as berserk as you did?" asks Yuzu
"I am unsure. It doesn't add up. Sure Zarc has been trying to control me, but I have always snapped out of it. Nor did I think it would be as severe if I did lose myself. Although moving forward I should always keep this bracelet on. I was hoping to contain the darkness and combine it with my light, but that is far too dangerous now. As for the boys, they need rest. Sora needs to get back the hospital or else he will die. On the plus side, Zarc must have wanted us to play sub optimally to destroy each other which just made things easier for me. Rin you can take a back seat as your exhausted."
"Hey I can..." she passes out and Ruri catches her
"Ruri! Where were you?" calls out Shun worried
"It is a long story, but we need your help."
Ruri and Shun pick up Rin, Yuto and Yuya. Christopher and Yuzu deal with Yugo and Sora. Why two? It is because the Kurosaki twins rather take a 3rd than help Sora. And also they need to drag his duel runner as well
(Somewhere in Maiami, Standard)
Yuzu and Christopher drop off Sora at the hospital and on their way Yugo stirs awake causing them to gently lay him down
"Man where am I?"
He sees Yuzu
"Riiiiiiiin!" he yells as he attempts to hug her until...
SMACK
"Watch it Fusion! I am taken! My name is Yuzu and not Rin."
"Fusion? It's Yugo! Your definitely not Rin as she would never get it wrong."
"So Yuzu here shares a face with Rin and two others so try to pay attention as even I will join in. Long story by the way," says Christopher as Yugo shivers
But Yugo is a bit of dumbass and that is the first thing he forgot when he saw Ruri once they arrive. With Shun not that far reading "Big Bro Guide".
"Riiiiiiiin!"
Ruri is hugged, but she is only confused until...
SMACK SMACK SMACK
Christopher, Yuto and Shun all force him off and punch him in his gut
"What the hell did I say about paying attention?!"
"That's my girlfriend by the way!"
"Who the fuck gave you permission to touch my little sister?! Creep!"
Shun lifts Yugo up with rage in his eyes
"Brother please. It was an honest mistake. He just misses Rin."
"Just be glad my sister is such a sweet girl who means my entire life and who I entrusted with my best friend to be with. And I swear, if you ever touch her without her consent."
Shun gets a very dark aura
"H-hey! I will back off."
Yugo swore he say a metallic falcon peeking through the window for a moment. Then Shun punches him in the gut.
"There. Your off the hook."
Shun sits down at the couch and begins to read again
"Thanks..." says Yugo as he groans in pain
"Yoko, where is Yuya?" asks Yuzu
"I put him to bed as he has yet to wake up."
"I think his body is not well adapted unlike the others. For Rin it is the same thing when it comes to using that much bracelet power," says Christopher
Later Yuzu would go up to Yuya's room and sees him tucked in nicely. She sits on the bed edge.
"Yuya. I am glad your okay now. (Yawn) I suppose I could rest for a little bit."
Yuzu lays next to Yuya feeling a sense of confidence and exhaustion takes over. Meanwhile Ray's spirit is watching them while influencing Yuzu. A tear falls down her cheek remembering a memory. A happy one.
"I am so sorry Zarc..."
"Remember Ray. Your the one who left. Not me. I can see it still affects you. I may be weakened temporarily, your trying to fix your guilt and running away like you did before. Hahah!" taunts Zarc as he appears
(Next Morning)
Yoko looks into Yuya's room and takes a picture of the couple before leaving with a mischievous smile. She makes a mental to share it with Shuzo.
"Man what happened?" asks Yuya as he tries to recall last night's events and then he sees her
"I must have passed out," says Yuzu as she too wakes up
(In the dining room)
Christopher is with the other residents plus Ruri and is serving breakfast until everyone hears some screams causing everyone to laugh and ask Yoko if she took a picture. The embarrassed couple head to the dining room.
"So have a good night performance lovers?" asks Christopher
"For the record we did not do anything weird! Someone did this!" protests Yuya
"Like he said I only meant to rest for a..." Yuzu stops to realizing she was the one who did it "I was tired okay?!"
"I wish big brother would let me sleep like that with Yuto," mumbles Ruri in jealousy
"Say something Ruri?" asks Shun
"Nothing! Oh wait that reminds me. I need to check on Rin since she was out cold last night and really wants to see Yugo."
Ruri heads out and apologizes to Christopher over not eating.
"I think I am going to follow her," says Yuzu still embarrassed
Yugo is excited at being able to see his best friend (and romantic interest) again.
(On to Yuzu's house, Standard)
"So Yuzu? Did you follow me because you were embarrassed?"
"What do you think?"
"Sounds perfectly normal to me. If only Shun would let me do that with Yuto. He is so dashing that I want him to hold me while we sleep."
"How is this girl so bold? Maybe because Shun is so straightforward? And I can see why he is so restrictive."
The two arrive at Yuzu's house. And before Yuzu can get to the door, Rin opens it with the intention of heading out to find Yugo.
"You two. I am heading to see Yugo."
"That's why I came here. To pick you up," says Ruri
"Hey Rin, before we all go, is Yugo always like this?" asks Yuzu
"Like what?"
"When he saw me for the first time, he yelled 'Riiiiiiiin!' and tried to hug me."
"Oh really now..." says Rin as a dark look appears on her face
"He hugged me too although I was more worried big brother would murder him," adds Ruri
"So he's giving out free hugs to everyone... Interesting..." says Rin with the same look
"So are you sure you two aren't going out?" asks Ruri
"Nope! Never! Not at all! Yugo? Ick! I already said no before!"
"But why did you seem to act all sinister about it?"
"Because he is an idiot!"
Rin storms off towards Yuya's house and does eventually cool down
(Yuya's House, again)
Christopher answers the door and calls out to Yugo. There the two see each other.
"Riiiiiiiin!" yells Yugo as he attempts to hug her
KNEE JAB
Yugo groans in pain while everyone looks in shock not expecting it especially Shun with another "She looks like Ruri, but is nothing like Ruri" comment.
"You're late! What took you so long?"
"Rin..."
"Christopher said you were coming and I waited all those days for you! Feeling alone while everyone else had someone close. Then you hug other girls before me! Yugo you dummy!"
She begins to cry and hug Yugo tightly
"Rin. I am here now. We are together again."
(Reiji's Office, Standard)
Christopher later heads off to see Reiji
"I believe I have some explaining to do. About what happened last night."
"Indeed Christopher. The cameras went out."
Christopher gives a rundown of what happened and Reiji is concerned.
"So it is very important we keep the boys as close to the girls as possible. Your father trying to kidnap them also makes things worse since they keep the boys in control. Especially as Zarc can cause them to lose it at anytime. I have also noticed that Zarc tends to make us play in a way that is not optimal. Whether that continues is to be seen because that allowed me to easily destroy all the dragons at once. Thankfully their backrow was presumably battle traps. I seen Yuto's deck and he has nasty traps."
"But by far my biggest question is why you lost control as you don't look like them."
"I am unsure myself. I suppose Zarc can control others, but my strong mind resists it very well. It is also of no concern with the bracelet on. Believe it or not, but I suppose my spirit can leave my body somehow and interact with Ray and Zarc. It happened only once and Zarc did something to me which adds to the control factor. But it still doesn't make sense. Maybe it is because I own the dragon?"
"Seems I need to make sure my plan factors all of this in. Also, the new cards have been made so make sure to give them to their respective recipients. I also created some for you as well."
"Understood, but I believe we need more power. I have some ideas."
Christopher drops some new documents.
"Also we will have to merge the extra matches from the tournament in a Battle Royale with the winners as Serena is coming. And they will try to find her.
Reira walks in shyly and wants to see Reiji.
"Reira. I will be there in a moment."
"But here is a document. Also Sora will not be a problem as I have his deck, but I am sure the data still helps. Now I will leave you with your sister."
Christopher kneels in front of Reira and gives her a small cat plush "Your a good girl. I got this for you so your bear has friend."
Reira takes the toy and stares at Christopher before quickly moving towards Reiji. Reiji smiles at the interaction
"I also have a business partner from another city who I want you to meet soon."
"This is new, but it is what it is."
(Scientist lab room, Fusion)
Serena escapes her tower and is drawn by rumours of Sora potentially being declared deceased by students across the school. This has her interested and there she overhears some scientists speaking.
"I find it odd as unless he revealed his identity, he should be fine," says scientist 1
"But if he did, his duel disk would go off. Unless someone deleted the feature which is a possibility as it is also our way of tracking potential defectors. Could some Xyz remnants be there as carding can also trigger it? Or maybe even that mysterious duelist that prevented Yuri from doing his mission?" questions scientist 2
"Beats me, but I hear an invasion is coming to Standard. Will be some time as our troops need to be well rested and trained up a bit if there are such big threats."
Serena having eavesdropped, smiles. Having gotten an idea in her head, she sneaks into the lab after the the scientists leave and downloads a dimension travel code. She gets caught by Barrett.
"Serena! What do you think your doing?"
"Barrett. I am leaving. Even if you try to stop me, I'm going to Standard."
"I won't stop you. I'm going with you."
"You're the first monitor that hasn't tried to stop me."
(Maiami Championship Main Lobby, Standard)
Christopher returns to the main lobby to meet with the group, but steps back to reflect.
"All I know is that things will get stressful soon. Reiji already has me in so I am not worried if I brick this tournament. However, when I fight Academia, losing will cost me my life. And with how much things changed, I cannot rely on my past knowledge. I must use my wits and skills. As for the others, I can't help but feel attached to them. I know I was harsh about Yuya's beliefs, but while I still see some flaws, I can't help but appreciate it. With all this stress I have, maybe someone who can give me a smile is what I need? Now that I think about, this feels like some fanfic, but I guess I am not following that meme too much. Like I did not duel Yuya or Shingo. I did give Ruri and Rin a role and had my summoning skills noticed. Shun I did not talk down. Ain't dating Serena who is like half my age. Anyways, about Serena, I need to see her soon. Barrett will have to be carded though. I also find it weird how when my bracelet is on, I feel like eating and drinking. Could it be a side effect of my time limit?"
Christopher heads to meet the others. He finds it amusing how Rin is intentionally making sure to keep Ruri and Yuzu away from Yugo. Things go as normal through these couple of days, but Yuya is awake. So as such, he witnesses Mieru get defeated by Moon Shadow. Before Hokuto's duel, Christopher lies about needing to head to LDS in order to find a certain someone.

He then sees the kids stop by because of Ayu seeing someone and beelines for the cloaked duo. Back to our main group, they look at their next opponents after witnessing Yaiba get brutalized.
"I'm in tomorrow's first match. My opponent is Surprise School's Yuzo Tanegashima," says Gongenzaka
"I'm in the second day's second match against Duelie Club's Mikiyo Naname," says Yuzu
"I face Rin on the third day," says Ruri
"Interesting," says Rin
"Man I wish I could participate," says Yugo
"Shun and I are the same. My opponent is Mokuba Kaiba."
"What about you, Yuya?" asks Futoshi
The kids move in to look
"Isao Kachidoki?" says Tatsuya
"No way," adds Ayu
"Yuya..." says Yuzu worriedly
"Yuya. Take my Dark Rebellion for your duel. I can't stand his style. I know we had something go crazy with the dragons, but if the girls are here, we should be fine."
Yuto hands over Dark Rebellion to Yuya.
(Yuzu's House, Standard)
"So why did you use a card not related to Windwitches?" asks Yugo
"Got to use whatever I have to get stronger, but Windwitches will always be the core of my deck."
"Think I will get any cool cards?"
"Maybe if you ask Christopher, but you know, it feels nice to no worry about anything."
"For sure. No Sector Security or having to do gigs for a meal. But most importantly I have you."
"And I have you too."
"Hey love birds! Need anything?" asks Yuzu
"What do you mean love birds?" asks Yugo shyly as he rubs his head in embarrassment
"Love birds? With Yugo? Eck!" replies Rin
"Eck?"
(Somewhere in Maiami tomorrow, Standard)
Christopher has been tracking the pair and they corner Hokuto.
"We just want to duel," says Serena as she activates her duel disk alongside Barrett
"Not so fast!" Christopher yells as he approaches "Hokuto. Hurry to your match. I will handle this."
"Thanks," Hokuto says as he runs off
"If your going to interfere than I have to finish you first!" declares Serena
"Of course. What is a good line? I know. Come with me or I will do a violence."
"As if!"
"I'll do it."
"Stay back, Barrett!"
"The Professor has ordered me to protect you from danger."
"From the Fusion Dimension? I heard of him. Father of Reiji Akaba. I hope Yuri is feeling alright after I screwed him over. As for Sora. He is out of combat for a while."
"It seems my judgement was correct to duel for you Serena as he is the mysterious duelist."
Serena moves to the side to watch. Christopher and Barrett get ready.
(Reiji's Office, Standard)
Someone enters into Reiji's office and Reiji says "Seto Kaiba. We have much to discuss."
Cliffhanger. And yes I will bring in Seto Kaiba since I have yet to see fanfic that does. We will not have Ruri vs Rin since the invasion is going to happen soon or the other duels from that point in time. Sora will be with the gang albeit banged up so we can redeem him on-screen rather than off-screen. As for why my character can go berserk, there is a deeper reason that will be revealed in the future that goes more than just mind control. On another note, the Synchro, Link and Xyz arcs will by far be the longest arcs in the story. Mainly because of the tournament and taking back the Xyz Dimension. Plus the Link arc will run alongside Synchro. The Fusion arc will be 3rd as I cannot really expand it too be crazy long as it is literally the endgame. It will also be where Zarc revives. How? That is a secret. After Standard is done, I will go through all the chapters to edit. Then I will finalize my drafts since things will get very complicated moving forward as I lose out on canon. Sure it provides a backbone, but a lot will be new. Standard just gave me time too think as nothing really happens apart from more slice of life stuff till around now. Also RIP Barrett as while he will be stronger and put up a fight, pretty obvious my character will win as if he dies, well we might as well watch Arc-V but with extra steps.

Rule Change:
During Battle Royales, Link monsters pointing top centre for example include every centre left or right zone. Additionally it is possible for more than one monster to occupy the same Extra Monster Zone, but to the turn player, other monsters are still treated as if they were in the other zone should they own a monster in the same zone. However they can never co-link on top of each other. In tag duels, nothing changes due to shared fields.
