"That Pendulum match was amazing wasn't it? I'm still shaking from it! Mee too! Dueling is really the best! If it starts off this exiting, what'll happen next?! That Pendulum Summon was so awesome! This years tournament is too crazy! You've got that right!" the audience members exclaim, still excited from the duel between Yuya and Sawatari.
"Next up is todays third match! You Show Duel School's Sora Shiunin VS Leo Duel School's Shun Kurosaki! Everyone, please, your applause for those two Duelists!" Nico announces as Sora enters the arena and waves to the cheering crowd.
"Sora!" Shuzo says.
"Make this our third win in a row!" Gongenzaka says.
"Beat those LDS guys!" Ayu, Tatsuya and Futoshi say.
"Okay! Leave it to me!" Sora says as he gives them a thumbs up.
"I'll satisfy the whole crowd just like Yuya!" Sora declares as the You Show crew keeps cheering for him.
"Shun Kurosaki..." Yuya says as she sees him enter the arena emotionlessly and looses her smile.
"Masumi said that he's always been a member of LDS, but... Kurosaki is the culprit for the serial attacks on LDS. Masumi knew that and should have fought Kurosaki once... But when I chased after her, nobody was there. And when I met her at the opening ceremony... Just what happened to Masumi? It's almost like her memories were rewritten!" Yuzu tells Yuya, as she gets confused and concerned about the situation.
"That's right... He fought LDS in front of my very eyes. And that incredibly powerful Xyz monster... It hit us with real shockwaves...!" Yuya voices her own concerns.
"Sora, be careful! Don't let your guard down!" Yuya warns her friend.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine! This time I'll entertain you, Yuya! Look forward to it!" Sora declares while shrugging off the warning.
Meanwhile Shun looks at his opponent with an expression between neutral and annoyed. While doing so he remembers Nakajima offering him a Pendulum card that was specifically made for him, but he turned it down without hesitation.
In LDS control room.
"You went out of your way to make it for him, President..." Nakajima tells Reji as he recalls the same thing.
"It's fine. Rather than the potential of Pendulum Summoning... I'm more interested in seeing the full extend of his abilities." Reji says, while Reira keeps looking at the screen with an almost lifeless expression in her eyes.
"Todays third event starts now!" Nico announces.
"First up is selecting the Field Magic! The field is, Future City Heartland!" Nico announces.
Hearing that Shun reacts shocked, and Sora is surprised while taking notice of his opponents reaction.
"This is the perfect stage for the two who will show us the future of Dueling! Now then, Action Field On! Field Magic, Future City Heartland!" Nico exclaims as the field is generated, a beautiful futuristic city in the night, illuminated by its own neon glow.
"Heartland..." Shun mutters in shock.
"It's so pretty! It's like we're inside a sci-fi movie! I-it's so futuristic, it... gives me the shivers!" Ayu, Tatsuya and Futoshi say in amazement, while the rest of the crowd is excited over the amazing action field.
"I'd be more excited if it were a town of sweets, though... But it looks like the crowd is enjoying it, so I guess it's fine if it's not." Sora says as he looks at the field and the audience.
"Right?" Sora asks as he turns to Shun, only to see him clenching his fist in furry that is close to pure outrage.
"It seems he's taken a liking to it." Reji says as he observes the whole thing.
"So you mean this Field is...?!" Nakajima asks.
"It's just a modest present from me to him... In order to light his fighting spirit." Reji says without a care in the world as he watches Shun's expression of pain agony and rage.
"What's wrong? Do you have a stomach ache? Hey, will you really be able to duel me?" Sora asks Shun.
"You should worry about yourself first!" Shun says as all of his pain and rage starts to direct itself toward his opponent.
"If you really are a true Fusion user... I will show no mercy!" Shun declares as he activates his duel disk.
"Interesting, aren't you?" Sora replies intrigued as he activates his duel disk.
"All right, everyone! My Entertainment Duel is about to begin! Cheer for me just like you did for Yuya!" Sora tells the crowd, to which the cheers intensify.
"We'll cheer as hard as we can!" Shuzo says.
"If you win, you'll get all the pancakes you can eat!" Yoko promises.
"Go! Go! Sora!" Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi cheer.
Satisfied with what he is hearing Sora nods and turns to his opponent.
"Then, with that, let's get this started!" Sora says making the crowd cheer more.
"Duelists locked in battle!" Sora starts but
Shun is completely silent.
"Huh? Hey! You're killing the mood you know? If I say Marco, you have to say Polo! It's called call and response! Got it?" Sora tells Shun in slight annoyance, but Shun simply keeps looking at him motionless and silent.
"He's a lost cause. Then everyone, with me! Let's take it from the top!" Sora tells the crowd, while Shun keeps glaring at him.
"Duelists locked in battle!" Sora starts
"Kicking against the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters! They storm through this Field!" the audience continues
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Nico continues
"Action!" the crowd finishes.
"Duel!" "Duel!" Sora and Shun say as the action cards are dispersed and the duel begins.

"The audience's call and response was perfect! Our third match today is getting better and better... Just how will it turn out!?" Nico exclaims.
"I'll go first! From my hand, I summon a very cute bear monster, Furnimal Bear!" Sora says as his monster appears.
Furnimal Bear (LV.3) (1200ATK/800DEF)
"So cute!" a bunch of girls and children say when they see it.
"Isn't it? But I've got even cuter ones coming up!" Sora exclaims.
"When there is a Furnimal monster on my Field, I can Special Summon these monsters from my hand! Two cute sheep monsters that'll make you squeal!" Sora explains as he holds up two cards.
"I double Special Summon two Furnimal Sheep's!" Sora says as his monsters appear.
Furnimal Sheep (LV.2) (400ATK/800DEF) (X2)
"So cute!" the crowd once again says enamored by the cuteness.
"I set one card and end my turn. Now then, you're up! Let's both give the audience the greatest show!" Sora tells Shun as his facedown materializes and he chuckles.
"The greatest show?" Shun asks.
"Once, Dueling was the greatest show in my homeland as well... That's right... the greatest..." Shun says, confusing Sora.
"Whether they were children or adults, everyone enjoyed it without care. It was a town where Duelists were adored by the public." Shun continues with a look of remorse nostalgia and longing.
"Until that day..." Shun says as his emotions shift to anger and loss, and Sora starts connecting the dots in his mind.
"On that day, our enemy attacked us without warning and turned our town into a battlefield." Shun says making the entire crowd go silent.
"Enemy? Battlefield? What's that? What are you going on about?" Sora questions, while Reji listens in and observes both duelists, at the moment Sora specifically.
"That man isn't making any sense!" Gongenzaka says.
"That's right! Back then, he...!" Yuzu says as she recounts what Shun said about this being his battlefield.
"Battlefield!?" Yuya questions.
"He suddenly appeared in front of me and Masumi..." Yuzu says.
"Now that I think about it, where is Kurosaki from?" Hokuto wonders.
"I've never asked him, even though we've known each other for so long..." Yaiba admits.
"Jeez... You really are oblivious, aren't you? I even went out of my way to play three monsters to liven the match up... Don't go and ruin it! I said we should give them the greatest show, didn't I? If I go Ka-boom, then you've got to follow up with a Ba-bang or it won't...!" Sora says in slight annoyance as if he is pointing out the most obvious thing there is.
"My turn." Shun says as he draws, causing Sora to get irritated at being ignored.

"We were thrown into disarray by the sudden assaults... Just mounting a defense took everything we had!" Shun says.
"Are you even trying?" Sora asks not interested in what Shun says one bit.
"I summon Raid Raptors - Vanishing Lanius!" Shun says as his monster appears.
Raid Raptors - Vanishing Lanius (LV.4) (1300ATK/1600DEF)
"It's that monster from back then...!" Yuya gasps as she recognizes it from her first run in with Shun.
"Battle! I attack Furnimal Bear with Vanishing Lanius!" Shun says to which his monster tears apart the bear.
Sora: 4000 - 3900 LP
"Mr. Bear..." a little girl says saddened with tears in her eyes at that and starts crying.
"I'll save it for you right now! I activate the Trap, Furnimal Crane! This card returns a Furnimal monster that was destroyed by battle to my hand. And lets me draw a card from my deck!" Sora explains as a toy crane adds the monster back to his hand and he draws.
"You've got to react like this, got it?" Sora tells Shun as he makes a cute face and winks.
"Because a Raid Raptors monster declared an attack this turn, I activate the Magic Card, Raid Raptors - Symbol! I can add one Raid Raptors monster from my deck to my hand. I add Raid Raptors - Vanishing Lanius." Shun explains unfazed as he continues his turn.
"And due to the previously summoned Vanishing Lanius's effect, I can Special Summon one more Vanishing Lanius this turn! I summon it in Defense mode!" Shun explains as the second copy appears.
Raid Raptors - Vanishing Lanius (LV.4) (1300ATK/1600DEF)
"It's nice that you were able to respond so quickly, but there's no point in hiding behind those monsters you know?" Sora says.
"I set one card and end my turn." Shun simply says as his facedown materializes.
"Both players have ended one turn with two monsters of the same name! At this point, neither has taken a decisive lead! I wonder what twists this battle will take!" Nico comments as Sora keeps smiling, and Shun keeps glaring at Sora.
"An amazing match that will leave hands sweating with excitement! Will the goddess of victory smile upon Sora Shiunin, or perhaps Shun Kurosaki!?" Nico comments.
"Isn't it obvious? The one who entertains the audience more of course! And I'll make sure they have their fill!" Sora declares, while Reji keeps his focus on him.
"Let's go! My turn, draw!" Sora says as he starts his turn.

"I summon Edge Imp Scissors from my hand." Sora says as his monster appears.
Edge Imp Scissors (LV.3) (1200ATK/800DEF)
"When this card is Summoned, I can return one Furnimal monster on the field to my hand... Then I can Special Summon a different Furnimal monster from my hand!" Sora explains as his Scissors starts clipping the fur of one of his sheep.
"Now, your applause, please, as our very cute sheep... In no time, turns into..." Sora says as his sheep is replaced by his Furnimal Bear.
Furnimal Bear (LV.3) (1200ATK/800DEF)
"It's Mr. Bear! So cute! It's back! Where's Mr. Sheep?" children in the audience cheer, while the girl from earlier is saddened by the sheep's departure form the field.
"Mr. Sheep is right here! When he returns to my hand, I get to add a certain card from my deck to my hand because of his effect!" Sora explains as he holds up the sheep card, before he takes out a card from his duel disk.
"That card is the Magic Card, Fusion!" Sora says as he shows Shun the card, whose face turns to pure hate at the sight of it.
"Ladies and Gentlemen!" Sora exclaims as spotlights descend on him.
"What's this!? Isn't that Yuya Sakaki's very own catchphrase!?" Nico exclaims, making Shun glance toward her.
"That guy..." Yuya sighs with slightly red cheeks at being flattered like that.
"He really does like you, Yuya." Yoko tells her.
"What you're about to witness is a real, full fledged Fusion Summon!" Sora declares joyfully.
"What? Is he trying to say LDS's Fusion is fake?" Masumi says offended at that.
"Now let's get to it!" Sora says as he activates the card.
"I'm going to fuse Edge Imp Scissors and Furnimal Bear! Claws of the demon! Fangs of the beast! Become one and reveal a new form of power! Fusion Summon! Appear, horrifying beast that shreds everything! Death-Toy Scissors Bear!" Sora chants as his fusion appears.
Death-Toy Scissors Bear (LV.6) (2200ATK/1800DEF)
"What School?! You Show Duel School!" Shuzo exclaims.
"Shivers!" Futoshi says as he wiggles around.
"Time to battle! I attack Vanishing Lanius with Bear!" Sora says as his monster destroys Shun's Lanius.
Shun: 4000 - 3100 LP
"He did it! He took him down 900 life points with one shot!" Futoshi and Tatsuya cheer.
"I didn't just do that! Don't forget, that Death-Toy Scissors Bear has the ability to equip monsters it destroys in battle!" Sora exclaims.
"Oh yeah, that's right! So then Vanishing Lanius's Attack Points will be added to Bears? And it goes up to 3500 Attack Points!" Futoshi, Ayu and Tatsuya say as Sora's monster absorbs Shun's and grows stronger.
Death-Toy Scissors Bear (LV.6) (2200 - 3500ATK/1800DEF)
"So many shivers!" Futoshi says as he wiggles around while hugging Tatsuya, much to the latter's discomfort.
"I activate the Trap, Raid Raptors - Return! This card returns one Raid Raptors monster that was destroyed in battle to my hand!" Shun explains as his monster bursts out of Scissors Bear and returns to his hand, while Scissors Bear powers down, the move surprising Sora.
Death-Toy Scissors Bear (LV.6) (3500 - 2200ATK/1800DEF)
"It got taken back!" Ayu observes in shock.
"To think he had something like that ready..." Tatsuya says while he tires to push Futoshi off him.
"As expected of LDS, we should say?" Gongenzaka exclaims.
"Well, if you didn't do this much, it wouldn't be any fun! I set one card and end my turn." Sora says as his facedown materializes.
"It is as if they're one with their Decks! They are trading blows as easily as if they were just drawing breath! I have a feeling this third match is going to be an amazing one! In fact, I can't deny that it's already amazing at this point in the game!" Nico comments.
"Well, isn't that all counting on him?" Sora says as he takes out a lollipop.
"You said you'd show no mercy, but you'd better start trying now... Or could it be you're so focused on defending yourself that you can't fight back?" Sora asks as he throws the lollipop into the air and catches it with his mouth.
"At first that was the case... We could hardly manage to protect ourselves against such an overwhelming foe..." Shun says, causing Sora to lose his smile.
"There he goes again... What could he be talking about?" Some people in the crowd wonder as they all fall silent with looks of confusion.
"But we didn't even have any organized resistance... Pushed to our wits end, we started losing comrades one by one... In those hopeless battles, we learned... the only way to survive was to win! Only those who bore a steeled will to win would live through that hell!" Shun says, and hearing that, Sora gets a determined look on his face as he realizes who Shun is.
"My turn!" Shun says as he draws.

"He has three Vanishing Lanius!?" Sora observes shocked.
"This is... just like that time..." Yuya says in slight horror.
"I Overlay the three Level 4 Vanishing Lanius! Obscured falcon, raise your claws sharpened by adversity! Spread your wings of rebellion! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Raid Raptors - Rise Falcon!" Shun chants as his ace monster appears, getting Sora's attention.
Raid Raptors - Rise Falcon (Rank.4) (O.U.3) (100ATK/2000DEF)
"That man was an Xyz user?!" Gongenzaka says shocked.
"There is no mistaking it! That oppressive and overwhelming hatred... That's the same monster that took out an entire LDS top team back then..." Yuya says as she feels a chill from the hate oozing out of Shun's monster.
"What do you mean with overwhelming hatred?" Yuzu asks.
Seeing that there is no point and actually never was a point in hiding it, Yuya sighs and motions her friends to come a bit closer as she sits down.
"I don't expect you to believe me but here goes anyway. Ever since I Pendulum Summoned for the first time, it's like I can hear and feel the emotions of duel monsters." Yuya admits earning herself confused looks.
"What do you mean you can hear their emotions?" Yuzu asks.
"It is as I say. I can literally feel and hear their emotions. For example, back when Sawatari stole my Pendulum cards, I could hear the cries of the cards he tossed to the ground when he called them trash. Or when he sealed my magicians in our duel afterward, I heard their screams of pain." Yuya explains.
"That doesn't make sense. How is a card supposed to have emotions?" Gongenzaka asks lost to what his friend means.
"As curious as it sounds, I think I heard of something like that before." Shuzo says.
"Would you mind enlightening us then principal." Gongenzaka requests.
"There is an old dueling philosophy, that honestly was barely known or even acknowledged back in our youth, that spoke of the heart of the cards. From what I understood, it means that as long as you respect and treat your cards with care, they will respond to you when you need them. What Yuya is talking about honestly sounds to me like the cards in general not just her own are responding to her." Shuzo elaborates.
"So with all honesty, what Yuya is saying might actually not be that far fetched." Shuzo says.
"He is right you know. I heard about it from Yusho since that kind of philosophy was... a bit outside my realm of thinking back then. And if you say that you can actually hear them, I'll believe you Yuya." Yoko says as she flashed her daughter a smile.
"If you say so then I'll believe you as well." Yuzu declares.
"Us to." Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi say.
"What kind of friend would I be if I, the man Gongenzaka would doubt you when you have no reason to lie." Gongenzaka says.
"Guys..." Yuya mutters thankful that they believed her.
"So what is it like to understand what they are feeling?" Yuzu asks curious.
"Hmh, it's interesting to say the least. The kind of feeling you get is always different. For example, Gongenzaka's monsters give off an enormous feeling of resolve and willpower. While Yuzu's monsters have a kind of beauty and purity to them both inside and out that is unlike any other. They reflect both of you and your way of thinking rather well." Yuya explains, earning herself a surprised look from both of them before they look at their decks, Gongenzaka with determination, and Yuzu with a slight blush.
"But then there are the times when it is more difficult to have this ability. Some monsters have an aura of arrogance or unfounded overconfident pride to them, while others have so much greed and malicious desire that it becomes uncomfortable to be around them at times." Yuya elaborates.
"That monster though, it is unlike anything I have seen. Back then when he summoned it against LDS top team, the hatred I sensed from it was so overwhelming that it actually hurt me." Yuya says as she clenches her hand at her chest with an uneasy look on her face, as she looks at Rise Falcon.
"It hurt you?! Are you okay right now?!" Yuzu asks concerned at that.
"Yeah, though I still can feel that hate in it, last time it was summoned next to me so maybe its because of the distance that it has less of an effect on me." Yuya says as she flashes Yuzu a reassuring smile.
"The fact that it hurt you is disturbing to say the least. If you need to get out just tell us, okay." Gongenzaka tells her.
"It's alright. I'm stronger than to let myself get blown away like that twice." Yuya reassures them, but the looks of concern don't leave her.
"So this is you getting serious? You've got to be kidding me!" Sora tells Shun.
"This monster can attack all Special Summoned monsters on the field." Shun explains.
"Even if you can attack all of my monsters with just 100 Attack Points..." Sora says confident in his advantage.
"Enjoy that carefree thinking while you can." Hokuto says.
"You'll be crying any second now... Once you realize how amazing Rise Falcon is!" Yaiba and Masumi say.
"Be careful Sora! He's dangerous!" Yuya tells him.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine!" Sora says while waving toward her as he shrugs off the warning.
"I activate Rise Falcon's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, it gains Attack Points equal to the total Attack Points of all my opponents Special Summoned monsters!" Shun explains as his monster is enveloped in flames and it powers up.
Raid Raptors - Rise Falcon (Rank.4) (O.U.3 - 2) (100 - 2700ATK/2000DEF)
"2700 Attack Points?!" Sora observes the change shocked.
"It's passed Bear!" Tatsuya gasps shocked, while Yuya looks concerned.
"Battle! Raid Raptors - Rise Falcon! Rend and tear all of our enemies! Brave Claw Revolution!" Shun says as his monster flies through the sky, before diving toward and tearing apart both of Sora's monsters, causing the crowd to gasp in shock while some adults covered their children's eyes.
"Mr. Sheep!" the little girl cries.
Meanwhile the impact blasts Sora away and Rise Falcon takes to the skies again.
Sora: 3900 - 3400 LP
"A monster that back then sent me and all the members of that LDS top team flying. A monster that created real shockwaves in that alley without any Real Solid Vision System... Sora's fighting it right now...!" Yuya thinks as she recalls her encounter with Rise Falcon, while she and everyone else stare in shock at what just happened.
"W-what just happened!? Furnimal Sheep and Death-Toy Scissors Bear were taken out in an instant...!" Nico comments as he sees the damage the attack did to the field.
Sora grunts as he slowly struggles to get up from the ground and looks toward Shun.
"I set two cards and end my turn. At this time, Rise Falcons effect ends and its Attack Points return to normal." Shun says as his facedowns materialize and his monster descends behind him as its power up ends.
Raid Raptors - Rise Falcon (Rank.4) (O.U.2) (2700 - 100ATK/2000DEF)
"Now you've done something pretty interesting! Well then I guess I have to..." Sora says as he wipes his cheek and leaps to his feet.
"Go all out for a bit against you." Sora says as he walks into view and smirks in a sinister manner.
"Sora Shiunin's monsters just got completely wiped out by Kurosaki's attack! How will he mount his counter attack?!" Nico comments.
"My turn, draw!" Sora says as he starts his turn.

"I summon Edge Imp Saw!" Sora says as his monster appears.
Edge Imp Saw (LV.3) (500ATK/1000DEF)
"When this card is normal summoned, I can draw two cards by sending a Furnimal monster to the Graveyard!" Sora explains as he discards one copy of Furnimal Sheep and draws two new cards.
"I activate the Magic Card, Fusion Conscription! I can call a Fusion Material monster from my Deck to my hand." Sora explains as a card is ejected from his duel disk.
"All right, now all of the preparations are complete." Sora thinks with a slightly sinister grin as he looks at the new card.
"Your attention please! Make sure the spotlight is on me!" Sora says as he turns to the crowd with spread out arms.
"The fun has just begun!" Sora says as the spotlight descends on him.
"Woah! There's another one of Sakaki's famous catchphrases!" Nico comments.
"Jeez, that guy..." Yuya says with a smile and a minimal blush again.
"He really does like you." Yoko tells her again.
"I activate the Continuous Magic, Death-Toy Factory! I can banish one Fusion card in my Graveyard to Fusion Summon a Death-Toy Fusion monster!" Sora explains as he activates his card and banishes the Fusion Magic Card in his Graveyard.
"I'm going to fuse Edge Imp Saw and the Furnimal Lio in my hand!" Sora explains as the phantom of Lio hops onto the field.
"It's Mr. Lion! Cute!" the children say as they and the crowd are enamored by its cuteness.
"Steel blades possessed by demons! Become one with the fanged beast and reveal to us your new form! Fusion Summon! Come forth, king of beasts that shreds all! Death-Toy Wheel Saw Lio!" Sora chants as the new firghtening fusion appears.
Death-Toy Wheel Saw Lio (LV.7) (2400ATK/2000DEF)
Scared by the new monster the children in the crowd instantly start crying, and some parents try to calm and comfort them.
Shun looks around the field before turning and leaving.
"Oh! The tides have turned on Kurosaki!" Nico comments.
"What's this? Are you scared?" Sora taunts, while Shun grabs onto one of Rise Falcon's talons as the monster takes to the sky.
"You can't escape... I activate Wheel Saw Lio's effect! Once per turn, it can destroy an opponents monster and deal damage equal to its Attack Points to my opponent!" Sora explains as his monster fires the saws on its head toward Shun and his monster.
The blades keep chasing Shun, who dodges them all while they damage the buildings they pass by, before Shun spots something and lets go of Rise Falcon and goes for an air dive.
"I activate the Action Magic, Mirror Barrier! It prevents one of my monsters from being destroyed by card effects!" Shun explains after he snatches the card from a building wall and activates it, before his monster catches him mid air on its back and a sphere shield forms around his monster blocking the blades.
Sora gasps at that and mirror slabs seal Saw Lio in a makeshift cage, making it shriek in rage.
"Dang it, he even knows how to use Action Cards... He wasn't just running away!" Futoshi and Ayu observe.
"Just before, he used Raid Raptors - Return and now Mirror Barrier... It seems that man is well versed in the use of Magic and Trap Cards." Nakajima notes.
"Those are the skills that must have been polished in actual combat... When he fought for the Resistance." Reji says as he keeps watching the duel, and Reira turns toward him with a dull look.
"Break it down! Wheel Saw Lio!" Sora says to which his monster charges forward with its blades spinning, destroying its prison and even breaking through the buildings.
"Umm... even if it is Solid Vision, destroying it for no reason is a little..." Nico says at the sight of that.
"Oh, sorry! Cats just don't like being out of the spotlight!" Sora simply says.
"Cat what?" Nico asks, while Saw Lio arrives bellow Rise Falcon.
"But thanks to that, I found one..." Sora thinks as he and his monster keep staring up and Shun and his monster who in turn glare back at them.
"You did well trying to protect it with Action Cards, but to bad! You can't run away from the king of beasts that shreds all!" Sora tells Shun, who grits his teeth.
"You'll take some huge damage when your 100 Attack Point monster gets taken oy by a 2400 Attack Point Lio, won't you?" Sora says with an evil smirk.
"Time to battle! Wheel Saw Lio, attack Rise Falcon!" Sora says as his monster jumps at its target.
"I activate the Trap, Adversity! When a monster I control is attacked by a monster with higher Attack Points, I take no damage and my monster is not destroyed... and its Attack Points increase by 1000!" Shun explains as his monster deflects the attack and grows stronger.
Raid Raptors - Rise Falcon (Rank.4) (O.U.2) (100 - 1100ATK/2000DEF)
"What?!" Sora exclaims shocked.
"And there's another Trap! This time, he fended off Wheel Saw Lio's attack and boosted his monsters own Attack Points with a previous set card!" Nico comments.
"Impressive! He'll be useful, won't he?" Nakajima asks impressed by Shun's display of skill, while Reji keeps observing the duel.
"Damn it! I'll definitely get you next time! I end my turn here!" Sora throws a tantrum as he stomps on the spot angrily.
"Sora's usually so laid back..." Yuya says.
"I've never seen him look that annoyed..." Yuzu says.
"Don't sweat it, Sora! Keep your heart burning, but your head cool! Have a fire only in your heart!" Shuzo says.
"Don't worry I'm fine! I'm not letting it bother me! I'm just having fun!" Sora says with a smile as he waves to them, but as soon as he turns away he loses his smile.

"I activate Rise Falcon's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, it gains Attack Points equal to the total Attack Points of all of my opponents Special Summoned monsters until the End Phase!" Shun explains as one of Rise Falcons Overlay Units pops over Sora's Lio, making a dark aura come out of it, which is absorbed by Rise Falcon as it powers up.
Raid Raptors - Rise Falcon (Rank.4) (O.U.2 - 1) (1100 - 3500ATK/2000DEF)
"Battle! I attack Wheel Saw Lio with Rise Falcon!" Shun says as his monsters shriek turns into a soundwave attack.
"Not happening!" Sora says as he jumps up a tree and grabs an action card that was stuck in the branches.
"Action Magic, Evasion!" Sora says as he activates the card.
"Pointless. I activate the Counter Trap, Raptor's Storm! If I control a Raid Raptors monster, it negates the activation of an opponents Magic or Trap card!" Shun explains as Evasion is negated and send to Sora's Graveyard.
The attack hits making Lio twist before it is destroyed in an explosion, which blasts Sora away screaming.

"Sora!" Yuya and Yuzu call worried.
"I set two cards and end my turn! At this time, Rise Falcon's effect ends and its Attack Points return to normal." Shun says as his facedowns materialize and his monsters power up ends.

"Are you okay, Sora?" Yuya asks concerned.
"You really... are pissing me off, you know that? How many times have you destroyed my monsters now?! No more Mr. Nice Guy! This time, I'm really going all out!" Sora tells Shun as he gets up and looks at him with an annoyed expression before ripping the warping paper off a lollipop with his teeth and putting it in his mouth.

"I activate the Magic Card, Suture Rebirth! I Special Summon Furnimal Sheep from my Graveyard!" Sora explains as his monster is revived.

"Next I activate the Continuous Magic, Death-Toy Factory's effect! By banishing one Fusion card in my Graveyard, I can Fusion Summon a Death-Toy Fusion monster!" Sora explains as he banishes Fusion Conscription.
"I'm going to fuse my Furnimal Sheep on the Field and Edge Imp Chain in my hand! Fusion Summon! Reveal yourself! Chained beast that binds everything Death-Toy Chain Sheep!" Sora chants as his new fusion appears.
Death-Toy Chain Sheep (LV.5) (2000ATK/2000DEF)
"When this monster attacks, my opponent can't activate Magic or Trap cards!" Sora explains.
"Now that little Specialty of yours has been sealed!" Sora says with a sinister smile.
"But I wonder if that will actually work..." Reji questions.
"Battle! Go, Chain Sheep! Attack Rise Falcon!" Sora orders to which his monster fires a red ray at Shun and his monster, who try to dodge but are ultimately hit with Shun falling from the sky.
"He did it!" Ayu cheers.
"He really has no outs if his Magic and Trap cards are sealed!" Tatsuya exclaims.
"As expected of Sora! Shivers!" Futoshi says as he wiggles around.
Shun: 3100 - 2200 LP
While falling upside down, Shun snaps his eyes open with an expression of rage and determination, before maneuvering his body to start leaping from one building to another until he lands safely on a grass field.
"And with that, your monsters attack is done. So that effect has ended as well." Shun says as he dusts himself off with a calm expression and his eyes closed.
"What was that?!" Sora gasps shocked at that
"I activate the Quick-Play Magic, Rank-Up-Magic Raptor's Force! I Special Summon the destroyed Rise Falcon and use it to Xyz Summon a Raid Raptors monster that is one Rank higher!" Shun explains as his monster returns and immediately is used as Xyz material.
"What did you say!?" Sora gasps as that.
"What?!" Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi gasp shocked.
"Ferocious falcon, break through this fierce battle and spread your wings! Destroy our gathering foes! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Raid Raptors - Blaze Falcon!" Shun chants to which his falcons evolved form appears.

"Wh-wh-what?! His supposedly destroyed Xyz monster was reborn with its Rank increased!" Nico comments shocked.
"Rank Up?!" Reji exclaims shocked.
"I never learned that kind of Xyz Summon at school!" Hokuto comments
"He's on a different level from you!" Masumi says.
"No, he is on a different rank!" Yaiba puns.
Seeing the new monster Sora starts laughing.
"Nice! Very nice! You're quite the entertainer yourself, aren't you?" Sora says while pointing his lollipop at Shun.
"Let me thank you for making this so exciting! The audience is loving it! I'm so excited and having so much fun, I can't control myself! I end my turn here! Now then, why don't you let me enjoy this even more!" Sora says as he pops the lollipop back in his mouth and his smile starts bordering wickedly.
"Enjoy? What you will experience now is the agony of death and defeat!" Shun declares getting Sora's attention.
"My turn!" Shun says as he draws.

"I activate Blaze Falcon's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, it destroys all Special Summoned monsters my opponent controls, and deals 500 points of damage per monster destroyed this way!" Shun explains as his monster releases several attachments from its wings.
Raid Raptors - Blaze Falcon (Rank.5) (O.U.1 - 0) (1000ATK/2000DEF)
"What a ruthless card effect!" Nico comments, while the attachments fire green laser beams at Sora's monster.
"I activate the Trap, Death-Toy Backup! It negates the destruction of a Death-Toy monster and increases its Attack Points by 800!" Sora explains as the disks attached to sheep spark and create a shield around it, deflecting the lasers and growing stronger.
Death-Toy Chain Sheep (LV.5) (2000 - 2800ATK/2000DEF)
At that Shun grits his teeth, while the deflected lasers blast around destroying the field.
"And Shiunin manages to hold off that attack with a Trap Card. And on top of that, increase his monsters Attack Points!" Nico comments.
"Alright! Nice reaction, Sora!" Gongenzaka says.
"But the city is..." Ayu says catching the others attention.
When the audience looks at the city they gasp at seeing it crumbling while being consumed by flames.
"Blaze Falcon can attack my opponent directly! Go!" Shun says as he sicks his monster on his opponent.
"Kurosaki continues his attack! Shiunin is in a pinch!" Nico comments as Sora runs off with Blaze Falcon in pursuit.
The attack hits and Sora is blasted into a building so hard that he leaves a crater at his point of impact.
Sora: 2300 - 1300 LP
The shock from the impact causes the buildings upper section to break of and fall towards Sora.
"The building is collapsing! Look out!" Nico yells.
"Sora!" Yuya yells concerned.
When Sora looks up and sees the roof falling toward him he gasps, before leaping into the air and jumping from one piece of debris to another as they fall.
"Wow!" Yoko says at that.
"What's with those movements!?" Shuzo exclaims surprised.
Sora manages to get away and land outside the fall zone, and smiles in a dark way as the roof crashes down behind him. Seeing that Yuya and Yuzu are shocked.
"When Blaze Falcon deals battle damage, it can destroy one of my opponents monsters!" Shun explains, as panels open on Blaze Falcon and it fires several gas powered missiles at Sora's monster.
"Like I'll let you!" Sora says as he picks up an action card from the debris.
"Action Magic, Mirror Barrier! It prevents one monster on my field from being destroyed by card effects!" Sora says as he activates the card and a barrier forms around his monster absorbing the missiles blast.
"This time, he is defending with an Action Magic! With the same Mirror Barrier Kurosaki used just before!" Nico comments.
"I activate the Trap, Raptor's Gust! If I control a Raid Raptors monster, it negates the activation of an opponents Magic Card and destroys it!" Shun explains as the barrier around sheep breaks and the missiles destroy it.
"And we have another turnover!" Nico exclaims.
"All right! He finally ended that sheep bastard!" Yaiba cheers.
"He already had a Trap set up... this is Kurosaki's dueling!" Hokuto says.
"If they got you, get them back! This clashing and exchanging of blows has gotten me so excited!" Nico exclaims, while some people in the crowd cheer, while others especially children are disturbed, saddened and scared at what they are seeing.
"This is almost like... a battlefield, isn't it?" Yuya says.
"I set one card and end my turn!" Shun says after looking at the card for a moment, which then materializes on the field as a facedown.
"Where'd that grin if yours go?" Shun asks, surprising Sora who clenches his fist in anger.
"Now do you understand a bit of what it feels like to be hunted?" Shun asks, while Reji keeps observing from the control room.
"You bastards would always laugh while you continued to attack my comrades! But we are no longer submissive prey for you to hunt!" Shun angrily exclaims.
"Sora's people attacked him...? What does he mean?" Yuya questions.
"Aren't you getting carried away? Don't even joke about it! I can win a duel like this while licking some candy!" Sora says as his evil smile turns psychotic and he takes out a lollipop, chewing it in half munching loudly before swallowing.
"It's just a game! There is no need to get so serious! That's the same with my friends as well!" Sora says with his freakish smile as he bites of the rest of the lollipop.
"We all hunted you just for fun! Because all of you are just pray for our hunting games!" Sora declares with a disturbing psychotic smile.
"Prey? Game? What is he saying?!" Yuya questions, while Ayu, Tatsuya and Futoshi watch Sora's new side with shock.
"My turn!" Sora says as he draws, the disturbing expression remaining on his face.

Unusual plaything possessed by demons! Destroy and root out the plebeians who dare rebel against you! FUSION SUMMON! Come forth and appear, chimeric fusion of all toys! Death-Toy Mad Chimera!" Sora chants as his final fusion appears.

At the sight of it all the children start hiding, crying and screaming in fear.
"Battle! Mad Chimera, attack Blaze Falcon!" Sora orders as the bear head fires a missile from its mouth that destroys Blaze Falcon, while Shun dodges out of the explosion radius.
Shun: 2200 - 400 LP
"I activate Mad Chimera's effect! If it destroys a monster in battle, I can Special Summon that monster to my Field! Mad Chimera's Attack Points increase by 300 for each monster I gain control of this way!" Sora explains as Blaze Falcon is summoned to his field and his Chimera gets stronger.

"Now your monster has become mine! Do you understand now? You can never hunt me! The ones being hunted are always you! Now and forever more!" Sora exclaims with his wicked smile.
"What has he been talking about this whole time?!" Yuya questions.
"Sora..." Yuzu mutters, not knowing what to say.
"I'll at least give you the honor of dying by your own monsters hand. With a direct attack from Blaze Falcon's 1000 Attack Points, you and your last 400 life points will..." Sora says
"Ridiculous." Shun interrupts him.
"What?!" Sora asks.
"We of the Resistance always fight prepared for the worst case scenario! All while considering the possibility that our comrades might be captured by the enemy..." Shun says, which gives Yuzu pause.
"But even if they may be taken away... We will never abandon them!" Shun says, which is heard by Yuto who walks past a big screen on the street, fully unmasked.
"We will always take back our comrades!" Shun declares, the fierce expression of hate in his eyes making Sora back away slightly.
"What's with those eyes?!" Yuya questions.
Reira gasps slightly when she feels Reji's arm on her shoulder and turns toward him.
"Quick-Play Magic, Rank-Up-Magic Revolution Force! I can take control if an Xyz monster on my opponents Field, and use it to Xyz Summon a Raid Raptors monster that is one Rank higher!" Shun explains as his monster returns to his side, causing Mad Chimera to power down, before his monster is enveloped by flames erupting from the ground.

"What?!" Sora gasps angrily at that.
"Prideful falcon, spread your wings dyed in the blood of heroes! Advance through the path of revolution! Rank-Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 6! Raid Raptors - Revolution Falcon!" Shun chants as his aces second evolution appears.
Raid Raptors - Revolution Falcon (Rank.6) (O.U.1) (2000ATK/3000DEF)
"Wh-what is this!? Kurosaki's Xyz monster has Ranked Up even further!" Nico exclaims.
"Watch closely, Reira. For the sake of our future..." Reji tells her.
Sora stares wide eyed before laughing a bit.
"What? You start talking about revolutions and nonsense, but it's just 2000 Attack Points?! You can't defeat my 2800 Attack Point Death-Toy Mad Chimera with that!" Sora exclaims mockingly.
"Oh, is that so?" Shun asks calmly, which causes Sora to flinch for a second.
"That's just a bluff, isn't it?! Because you don't have any Set cards on your field at all!" Sora says in a mocking manner after recomposing himself.
"Stop it! Don't provoke him! He's dangerous! He really will-!" Yuya says as she rushes to the railing.
"Revolution Falcon's effect activates! When this card is Xyz Summoned by Ranking Up a Raid Raptors monster, I can destroy one Special Summoned monster my opponent controls... and deal damage equal to half its Attack Points to my opponent!" Shun explains.
"What?!" Sora gasps in shock and horror.
"Go! Revolution Falcon! Burn and scatter in the flames of revolution!" Shun orders, to which his monster soars into the air, opening its bay doors and releasing bombs laying waste to the field.
"Stop it! This isn't dueling! The dueling I believe in is supposed to make everyone happy..." Yuya protests. At that she feels a pain in her head and sees a bunch of duelist ripping each other apart in an even more brutal manner inside an arena. When her vison returns to normal she almost collapses panting with a cold sweat, luckily though Yuzu catches her.
As the bombs fall from the sky and his monster explodes in the flames, Sora runs around, eventually spotting an action card on the ground and jumping toward it. But before he can activate it a crumbling sound catches his attention. When he looks up, he sees the cities central tower falling toward him, causing him to freeze up and stare in fear.
The towers fall creates a huge explosion.
"Sora!" Yuya yells, while Yuzu gasps in shock.
At that the action field deactivates revealing Sora lying facedown on the ground.
Sora: 1300 - 0 LP

"Th-The winner is Kurosaki!" Nico announces after coming out from under his desk, which he hid under in fear.
The crowd simply stared silent not applauding at what they just saw.
As Shun approaches Sora and raises his duel disk about to push a button, when he receives a call over it from Reji.
"That's enough. I forbid you from taking further action in the eyes of the general public. He will be a useful experiment material for us. Experiments to understand Academia!" Reji says, to which Shun gives Sora one last glare before turning to leave.
"Wait... This match isn't over!" Sora says struggling to push himself up let alone stay conscious.
Shun barely glances over his shoulder to look at him.
"There's no way I can lose! To Xyz scum, I could never...!" Sora says.
At that Shun wordlessly turns away and starts walking off the field.
"Wait! Don't run away! Again... Duel me... again...!" Sora demands before he passes out.
"Sora!" Yuya yells as she and Yuzu try to enter the arena, but are stopped by security personnel.
"Sora!" Yuya yells as she looks at her friend that got beaten unconscious.
