POV 3RD PERSON (???)
In a room there are people who are chained up with one another and forced to be on the ground. It appears that these people have been injured judging by the bruises on most of them. Apart from them were the ones who chained them up as they had rifles strapped to their backs and wore military like uniforms which consisted of a white dress shirt, a black tie, and gray coat along with a gray cap and black boots. As the camera pans out it is revealed they are in some kind of military base, being guarded by multiple guards all over keeping watch over their newest batch of prisoners which they held on the second floor.
Marleyan Guard 1: "Alright you Aridam scum welcome to your temporary home. Make yourselves comfortable as you'll be transported with the rest of your filthy kind soon enough."
Another guard walked in as they aimed their rifles at the captives, which caused them to mutter in fear and lean away from the guard.
Marleyan Guard 2: "Can't believe we have to watch over these Aridams, why don't we just put them with the Eldians in the basement?"
Marleyan Guard 1: "It's just for a couple of minutes we have to deal with them until the transportation trucks get here and take these pieces of filth away. Plus you know how dangerous Aridams are when left unsupervised."
He then lowered his rifle away from the captives and strapped it on his back before walking away to converse with the other guards in that room.
Marleyan Guard 2: "Tch, fine. I just say we kill them and not waste any resources on them."
Unbeknownst to them a figure was watching them from afar. Zooming out from the building an eagle could be seen flying around the area, the bird then flew away before it glided down onto someone's wrist. Slowing the camera pans away from the bird as it then reveals a lone figure standing on top of a rooftop several buildings away from the main one. They donned an outfit that hid most of their appearance, a green jacket with a pointed hood which hid their face.
They stalked the guards outside, who're guarding the building they needed to get into, trying to decide on an approach. Upon closer inspection the figure can be seen to be a young man as a stubble beard was visible.
Assassin: "I need to get inside that building, I'm not sure how long I have until those transport vehicles get here."
- Mission: Rescue Captives and Regroup at the Rendezvous Point -
[ Activate Eagle Vision ]
Suddenly he was able to see much better as the guards were easily detectable. He looked on the rooftops and saw a few guards who were stationed there, including one on the main building. Reverting his vision back to normal he narrowed his eyes slightly.
Assassin: "Can't risk alerting the guards or else they'll kill their captives. Need to stay out of sight until then."

Reaching into his satchel the man took out a small radio and adjusted one of the top knobs until a few voices were heard.
Vega: "Tanker Team this is Vega of the Extraction Unit, how long until the rigs get here?"
A male voice responded to the call after a few seconds.
Assassin: "I'd say twenty minutes, no more than thirty. So complete this mission as fast as you can."
Vega: "Understood, prepare for my signal to retrieve the captives."
Ending the call he pocketed the radio so he could focus on how to approach the warehouse. The eagle that was on his wrist finally flew away as he narrowed his eyes towards a rooftop not too far from his. There a lone guard stood, far enough from the others' sight as the man jumped off his own and went towards theirs, sneaking up behind them with his arm ready to grab them.
[ Assassinate ]
Quickly putting his right hand over the guard's mouth, preventing them from alerting anyone, Vega put their left hand on the guard's neck and with a small click a hidden blade went through the guard's neck, killing them instantly. He laid the body against the wall as it slumped onto the ground. Sheathing his blade the hooded figure walked away from the body and ran upon the rooftops, using the metal poles on the buildings to swing himself forward as he was right above another guard.
[ Air Assassinate ]
Landing right on the guard he let out a surprised gasp before being silenced by the hooded man's blade. The Assassin looked down and spotted another lone guard that had just walked away from the others. Seeing this as a good opportunity he hopped off the roof he was on, sliding down the side of the buildings, and hid behind a corner. Waiting for the guard to get close enough he prepared to grab them.
[ Corner Assassinate ]
Quickly he grabbed them by the neck and dragged them around the corner, right before the guard could realize what was happening to him Vega used his hidden blade to stab them in the throat. Silencing them from calling out to their comrades. He leaned the body against the wall and saw there was only one last guard who was on the top of the main building.
With the last guard outside he was keeping watch of the area for any sudden intruders. But sadly for him the darkness made it hard to see most of the area, this would prove to be his downfall as soon as he felt something was wrong, that someone was watching hi-
Marleyan guard 3: "What the-
He couldn't finish what he was about to say. He turned around and spotted the hooded man right in front of him, staring him down. He slipped and fell backwards, almost falling off the roof until the hooded man caught him by the collar, not pulling him back to safety yet.
Marleyan guard 3: "P-Please help me up! I don't want to fall!"
[ Interrogate the guard ]
The hooded man didn't pull him to safety, just continued staring at him until he spoke.
Vega: "Where are the Adriam captives located? Where did you put the Eldians?"
This made the guard confused, why would someone be looking for them? Unless...
Marleyan guard 3: "You're trying to free them, aren't you?! You must be one of them! Get your filthy hands off me! I'd rather die than be saved by the likes of you!"
Vega: "As you wish."
He let go of his collar as he began to yell, falling backwards off the railings that were supposed to save him from events like this. His yells continued until he hit the ground hard, which stopped his yelling but didn't kill the man instantly. Reaching into his satchel the man took out a couple of small C4 explosives that all had antennas on them and placed them all around the roof of the building.
The yells from earlier were heard by a few guards from inside, as they opened the main door three guards quickly rushed over to their fallen comrade, one of them pulled out their pistols and walked a bit forward away from them as the two tried to understand what happened to the one on the ground.
Marleyan Guard 4: "What happened, who did this?!"
The grounded guard tried to speak but the fall had made him barely able to even let out the simplest of words, so slowly he pointed his hand up above them. This made them confused for a moment before they slowly looked up as suddenly-
[ Double Assassinate ]
The camera quickly moved above as it showed the Assassin dropping on top of them as two wrist blades on the ready were used to impale both guards in the head, their bodies instantly going limp to the floor. The guard that walked ahead quickly turned around and aimed their pistol but wasn't ready as he quickly took out something from his pocket and sheathed his right wrist blade as a silver dagger was thrown into their head, killing them instantly as they dropped to the ground. He looked down at the last guard that was barely alive, tried to speak but was silenced as the assassin finished him off with a blade to his neck.

With the guards outside all taken care of he stood right at the entrance of the base, preparing for whatever resistance he would encounter inside. But first then placed two more C4s on the doors and secured them with a paste. He quickly examined the building and searched for any openings for him to enter through without alerting the guards inside, and he remembered there was a ceiling door hatch which was easily accessible for him to get to. Or he could take one of the guards' outfits and try to go in through the front.

After finally deciding on what he wanted to do, he looked up at the building and aimed his left arm upward, where a grapple wire shot out from and attatched itself onto the wall roof. Making sure it's secure he pushed himself off the ground as the grapple wire pulls him towards the roof. Once there he knelt right next to the hatch as the grapple wire fully retracted back into the gauntlet.
Reaching into his pocket he took out his lockpicking tools and effortlessly unlocked the hatch on the first try. With it unlocked he entered the building and carefully stepped inside the building where he saw a dozen men walking around, approximately five on the upper level he's on and seven on the main section. There were a few ways he could take them out with the environment they were in, and once he's done here he can make his way to the room where the hostages are being held.

He crouched down and stayed silent as he eyed each of the guards on the upper floor, looking for the opportunities they could use on them, with the first he hid behind some wooden crates and waited for them to pass him by, listening to their footsteps as they approached. Once they were close enough he thrusted his arm forward and stabbed the guards neck with his hidden blade, their body going limp as Vega pulled them right down into the spot where he hid himself at.
With the second one he slowly stalked them, getting closer as he then took out another throwing dagger and threw it in the back of the guards head and as they fell he caught their body quietly. As he laid their body down he was about to go to the next when suddenly-
Marleyan Guard 5: "We have an intruder!"
Immediately he looked behind him as he spotted a guard that got sight of him, he quickly got into cover as he glimpsed the guard reaching for his pistol, multiple shots were fired at the spot he was in before. As shots were fired the other guards were alerted and drew their weapons, aiming at the area where the Assassin was. The sounds of gunfire traveled through the rest of the building as the hostages and guards that watched them looked in the direction where it was happening.
M Aridam: "What's going on...?"
Merleyan Commander: "Guards, get your rifles ready and prepare for the intruder."
All the guards grabbed their rifles and loaded them up and prepared at the door which was the only entrance to the room. From the group of hostages one had a smile on their face as they moved their wrists slowly.
Back in the main area the guards kept attempting to shoot the hooded man with their firearms but it was proven useless as he used the boxes around the area to stay hidden from their view as they kept guessing where he was. Vega quickly examined his options and thought of his next move. He grabbed a metal cylinder from his coat and quickly moved from cover as he reeled back his arm and threw it as it fell below the support beams that held up the walkway, where the last three guards on the upper level stood. It soon exploded as it took out the beams which made the three guards fall from the walkway, they screamed as they fell, with the debris of the walkway falling onto them, crushing them instantly.

Vega quickly looked down at the shocked guards on the bottom floor as he used their confusion as a quick opportunity, jumping down towards them. While falling he quickly unsheathed a sword from his left hip with his right hand and once he landed on one of the guards he stabbed them with his hidden blade. As the nearest guard aimed their firearm at the assassin he used the back of the blade of his sword to quickly move the arm which held the gun away from him, making it fire past him. Once that happened he quickly turned the blade so the cutting edge faced the guard and slashed it down as it cut them across their chest multiple times before stabbing them through the chest. Then he pulled the sword out of them before rolling over their body, as the body fell to the ground, he quickly took out a pistol in his left hand and aimed his pistol at the guard in front of him before firing it directly into their neck.
Quickly moving his wrist in front of his face when a bullet was fired at him, the bullet hit his gauntlet and immediately was deflected away. This surprised the guards as he then used the body of the guard he fired a bullet into as cover while the other two kept firing at him. Once they emptied their bullet cartridges he pushed the body aside and fired two more shots into the guards as they fell to the ground.
Quickly he looked behind him and immediately saw the last two guards behind him with their firearms ready. He rolled out of the way of their gunfire and positioned his left hand towards one of the guards and shot a grappling hook at one of the guards shoulders. Once it made contact he wrapped the wire around his hand and pulled it hard enough to where it made the guard move towards him. Readying his blade he thrusted his sword into the guard's chest once he got close enough and immediately the guard's body went limp.
Pushing the body to the floor he rushed towards the last guard as they fired bullets at Vega, using his gauntlets to block the bullets as he closing the distance and swept the guards legs before raising his sword up into the air then stabbing it into their gut, their life faded from their eyes as he pulled the sword out from the body. With the last guard in this section dead he let out a small breath before standing back up and sheathing his sword then putting his pistol in its holster.
Back to the room where the hostages were, the guards' worries grew as none of their own men announced they were still alive. All that was heard were footsteps, footsteps that grew louder with every second as it got closer. The guards kept their guns aimed at the door and waited for a signal
While that was happening the commander of the group heard a small laugh coming from the inmates they had, a brown haired woman from the group was chuckling softly. This made the commander aim their weapon at the woman as he narrowed his eyes.
Marleyan Commander: "What's so funny?"
The bruised up woman looked up at the Marleyan guard and smiled weakly, her dark eyes narrowing at their captor.
Woman: "None of you will leave here alive.. He will kill you all.."
Marleyan Commander: "Your "savor" won't get past us, they will die right here, by us!"
He aimed his weapon away from the woman and back to the door, his finger never leaving the trigger. The footsteps of the intruder got louder as they approached the door, each of the guards holding their rifles steady, fingers on the trigger, and once the noise stopped a long silence filled the air.
Marleyan Guard 6: "Do we fire yet?"
Marleyan Commander: "Not yet."
The door is then quickly kicked down and a figure quickly enters the room quickly grabbing the attention from all of the guards.
Marleyan Commander: "Open fire!"
As the command was given all of the guards pressed their triggers firing their rifles right at the figure. Multiple bullet wounds are seen However, they failed to realize that it was one of their own men.
Marleyan guard 7: "What?!"
But what they failed to realize was a small bomb that was planted on the back of the guard's corpse as it immediately exploded, making smoke spread around the guards. This made the guards cough as their vision was now limited due to the smoke.
[ Fear Multi-Assassination ]
Suddenly the sound of someone busting through the ceiling was heard as someone was impaled immediately after. The grunts of a guard were heard as the others couldn't see what was happening. Immediately the guards aimed their rifles at the area and fired once again, not able to see if they hit their target.
Marleyan Guard 8: "Where are they?!"
Once again another guard was silenced as they were dragged away into the smoke. Many more sounds of their own men being stabbed were heard as the commander backed out from the smoke and kept his rifle aimed at the smoke. He watched as his men were falling to the ground as he was unable to stop the intruder. Once the smoke cleared it showed Vega kneeling down next to a guard's body, pulling out their hidden blade from their neck before standing back up. Quickly the commander grabbed the woman who was laughing earlier at him, pulled her off the ground, aimed their gun to her head, holding her hostage.
Marleyan Commander: "Stop right there Assassin! If you move another fucking muscle I swear I'll kill this filthy bitch!"
The hooded man just stood there, staring at the guard with his silver eyes before retracting his hidden blade back into his gauntlet.
Marleyan Commander: "You have no one else to help you here, you will die and I will be praised for killing you."
[ Unique Assassinate ]
Noticing the commander was distracted, the woman moves her head forward and slams it back onto their nose, making them hold their face in pain while backing up a bit.
Marleyan guard: "ACK!! You bitch!"
But she didn't stop there as she easily freed her hands from her binds and elbowed the commander in the gut before spinning behind him and backhanding them in the back of the head. This forced them to take a few steps forward, still dazed by the headbutt, and once he uncovered his face his eyes were met with the right hand of the Assassins pointed at him, his left hand under the gauntlet as a smirk was plastered on his face.
Before the commander could understand what was happening Vega pressed a trigger under his gauntlet, which set off a gunfire that echoed throughout the entire room.
Confession Room
In a green void we see the commander laid on the floor as Vega stood over him.
Vega: "What was it you said? "You will die and I will be praised for killing you." Well, look at you now."
Marleyan Commander: "D-Damn you Assassin... Damn you and your people... You won't leave here with those pieces of shit alive... I already called for reinforcements and they'll be here any moment now.."
Vega then knelt down next to the Commander and looked down at him.
Vega: "Thanks for the heads up, if there is anything else you wish to let off your chest, say it now."
Marleyan Commander: "I have nothing else to say to you..."
The commander didn't say anything else as he started to choke, his body twitching as a hole slowly formed through his neck as his life left his eyes.
Vega: "I hope you have made peace with yourself and find whatever you sought for in the next life."
He placed two fingers on his eyes and closed them as the green void slowly disappeared.

We now see Vega kneeling over the body as blood poured from the hole in the commander's throat. Standing up he looked at the captives before walking over to the brown haired woman. This was Fay Jaeger, a dear friend of Vega's and his student.
Vega: "Are you alright, Faye?"
The woman gently rubbed her wrists as she looked at him.
Faye: "Aside from the bruises I'm fine. Thank you for finally showing up, you sure took your damn time."
She said with a sly smile as Vega took out a wrist blade from his satchel and handed it to her which she quickly slid on.
Vega: "I was debating if I should take longer, but knew you would miss me if I did. Now come on, let's help them."
The hooded man walks towards the tied up Aridams and holds out one of his blades making them nervous.
Fay: "Don't worry, he's here to help."
The group were relaxed a bit as she knelt down and used her hidden blade to help Vega cut their binds.
Vega: "Do any of you know where the Eldians are being held?"
F Aridam: "I overheard some of them saying there are in the basement cells."
The assassin just nodded and started to head to the basement but stopped for a moment before looking at Fay.
Vega: "When I'm done freeing the Eldians we have an extraction point for us that's ready to set off, so make sure to get everyone near the entrance to regroup."
Faye nods at him as he leaves the room, he passes by all of the bodies on the floor making his way to the basement. Once he arrived there he slammed his shoulder against the door to the basement and walked down the stairs that lead down to the basement. Entering the basement he saw the cages that sat in the back of the room as they were filled with chained up captives. He quickly made his way to the cages, which caught the captives attention as they moved back quickly.
M Eldian: "W-Wait please n-no more.."
The beaten up Eldian who spoke had bruises all over his body as Vega simply grabbed the door of the cage.
Vega: "I'm here to help, so let's get out of here before more of them show up."
They hesitantly nod as Vega took out his lockpicks and quickly unlocked the cage doors. The Eldians take a second to think of what's happening and they quickly walk out of the cages with Vega undoing their binds. As they were leaving the basement the assassin grabbed the lantern that was on his hip and had it ready. Once Vega and Fay regrouped at the main floor they exited the building with the captives in tow and went towards the extraction point.
However, before continuing he took out his handheld radio and started to fiddle with the nobs, and after setting them in the desired position his thumb hovered over the PTT button until he heard the sound of vehicles approaching their location.
Vega: "Faye, hide them and yourself, I'll deal with them."
Faye quickly nodded before leading the captives away from Vega and hid them nearby. Soon trucks arrived at their location as armed Marleyan soldiers exited their vehicles, aiming their rifles at the Assassin.
Marleyan guard: "Hold it right there! You ain't leaving here alive! Where are the captives you stole?!"
Vega didn't say anything as he pressed the button, many blinking lights started to go off all over the building showing that he placed more C4s around the building than was shown. A second later multiple explosions went off which made the soldiers flinch and cover their eyes. Using this opportunity the lantern, which is shaped as a head, began to softly glow before it became much brighter and once it stopped glowing he held it out towards the guards surrounding him.
As soon as the soldiers recovered from the explosions they saw the glowing lantern as they were confused as to what they were seeing.
They quickly aimed their rifles at him but it was too late as the soldiers then were hit with a pulse of energy, this started to trigger something within them as from their point of view, they saw things of nightmares, they couldn't make them go away, and because of that their screams could be heard as the soldiers cry out in pain as some turned their own firearms and shot themselves to end their suffering as others just let their suffering continue until they finally fell.
With the soldiers now dead, Vega lowers the lantern, putting it back onto his belt as he turns away from the bodies. But when he saw that one of the trucks was still on, a sly smile grew on his face.
At The Port
The camera cuts to see Vega driving the vehicle with Fay in the passenger seat, the captives in the back of the truck. Thankfully this made things progressively faster as he stopped the vehicle once they made it to the port, parking it he turned off the vehicle and stepped out with Faye following. He opened the back of the truck as the both of them helped the captives off the vehicle, a ship was already docked there with a few people on the deck. What was noticeable were the multiple unconscious bodies that covered the ground. Carefully they all stepped over the bodies as the gangway lowered onto the port, quickly the captives walked up the gangway as Vega and Faye went up on it last. The eagle from earlier is seen flying onto the bridge of the ship, looking down at the people on the deck of the ship as Vega looked up at the bird and gave it a small nod.
As they climb onboard the ship Vega signaled them to head off, and as it starts to take off he walks towards the captives who were all being examined by other hooded figures making sure they weren't in any serious conditions. In the corner of his eye Vega saw Faye putting on a white cloak that was given to her by one of the hooden men. He then approached a woman in an outfit similar to his, but blue. This was Sera, a friend of Vegas during their time in the brotherhood.
Vega: "How are they, Sera?"
Sera: "Just a few bruises, nothing out of the usual, but other than that they should be fine in a couple of weeks. It's thanks to you and Fay that they are safe now."
Vega: "That's relieving to hear, I recommend having Fay with them. They seem to trust her since she spent some time with them. Now how long until we reach our headquarters?"
They both make their way to the rails of the ship to discuss.
Sera: "Well in a couple days we should arrive at our destination. That reminds me, Sophia Aida would like a word with you once we arrive. Something about a mission that needs your attention."
Vega: "If Mentor wishes to see me then it must really be of great importance, either that or she wants me to tail someone again, hopefully not the ladder."
They both share a small laugh as Faye soon joins them. The three of them stare out to the ocean.
Faye: "Not sure about that, it seemed really important if she asked you personally for this mission. Think it's about those rumors back in Marley?"
Vega: "I am not sure, hopefully it isn't and we won't need to worry about it."
He then looked behind him for a moment.
Vega: "And what will we do about the people we rescued?"
Sera: "We'll take them back to headquarters and see what they wish to do. These people may still have families from where they're from, but I'm afraid we can't return them. Hopefully we can figure something out once we make it back."
Vega: "We were lucky enough that our spies had gotten this intel as soon as they did, any longer and I'm afraid their fates would've been... unfortunate."
Faye: "To think I could've gone through something so horrible if it wasn't for..."
Gently Vega placed a comforting hand on Faye's shoulder, Sera then turned towards the two.
Sera: "You two should rest, me and the other can take it from here. After a long day you both deserve it."
Vega: "Yeah, you're probably right. Let me know when we arrive, thank you Sera."
Faye: "If you're having any trouble with them, please come to me, I wouldn't mind helping."
Sera: "Of course."
Now as both of them made their ways to their barracks they were stopped by some of the people who were held captive. They seemed a bit hesitant to talk at first but then worked up the courage to speak.
F Aridam: "We wanted to thank you both, I never thought we would make it out of there alive."
One of the male Eldians speaks up who had some bandages on his arms.
M Eldian: "We all owe you our lives. No, more than that."
As Vega was about to speak, Faye went ahead and talked over him.
Faye: "You don't owe us anything, we're just sorry we can't take you home."
M Eldian: "What will happen to us?"
This time Vega spoke before Faye could.
Vega: "Unfortunately we can't return you back to your homes.. so we decided to take you somewhere safe for the meantime until we can figure something out. I'm sorry."
M Eldian: "I-I see.."
Vega: "I can assure you all that you will not be harmed, we don't wish to cause you any more harm than you've already been through. So please, rest and hope that we can help you all with your needs."
The man simply nods as Vega and Faye then make their way to their quarters. As they walk through the corridors Vega grabbed the hood of his outfit and proceeded to pull it down, letting his head be exposed fully. His hair reached down to his ears, it was neatly kept even if it's mostly covered by his hood on missions. He let out a small breath of relief as they had made it to their quarters, which were near one another and before Vega could open his, from behind two arms gently wrapped around his waists. Rolling his eyes a bit Vega reaches behind him and gently pets Fay's head before turning around himself and holding her in a tight hug. They stayed like this before slowly letting go of each other, the two smiled at each other.
Faye: "Hopefully we can go back and visit everyone... I miss them."
Vega: "Agreed, but there is still a matter I have to take care of with the Mentor before I can relax."
This made her roll her eyes as she leaned against the wall.
Faye: "Of course, she always likes to put our dear Master Assassin to work, you should convince her to give you some time off."
Vega: "Although that would be nice I won't. Every mission I take benefits our Creed little by little and it helps our people in the process. So no, I cannot afford to take a break, not yet anyways."
She sighs at this before walking to her door and opening it.
Faye: "Fine, but promise you visit the others when you can, they miss you."
He let out a small chuckle as he turned around to open his door.
Vega: "Deal, I promise you my dear disciple that I, Vega Eidorian, will visit our family once I am free of our Mentors grasp."
He said dramatically which made them both laugh lightly before they entered their quarters. Once inside Vega proceeded to remove all of his equipment, his Assassin gauntlets he places on the nightstand next to his bed, the sword on the wall hooks, his pistol in a dresser, the satchel was hung on a chair, and most importantly the lantern he used was placed in a secured wooden box. Removing his top he walked over to the sink in his quarters and splashed water onto his face, cleaning it he looked into the mirror as he let out a small sigh.
Vega: 'Why have you requested my aid Mentor? What is so important you need me specifically?'
Grabbing a towel he dried his face off before walking back to his bed and sitting on it. He then reaches into his pocket and takes out a journal, with the cover having the shape of an eagle's head on it, and opens it to an empty page where he recorded the events of today. Placing it down on the nightstand next to his gauntlets he laid down on his bed and looked up at the sky.
