At the staircase leading to Level III, the guards were still recovering from Buggy and Mr. 3's attack. Hannibal was the only one not injured and had managed to apprehend the two of them relatively easily.

"Morons, what is wrong with you two?" he said. He then looked down at the two of them who were currently tied up. 'If you had just slipped away when I told you to, I could have blamed this entire mess on the warden.'

"We're at the staircase to Level III," a guard reported over a transponder snail. "There was a raid by two of the escapees. We have some casualties here. Yes, that's right, we have Buggy the Clown and Mr 3 in custody."

'You wanted to go through the gate; I said fine, but you wouldn't believe me,' Hannibal grumbled. "Ruin my plan."

"Ow, he's a hell of a lot stronger than he looks," Buggy groaned. "Damn Hannibal."

"I don't want to be tortured," Mr 3 cried. "If that is what is in store for me, I'm going to bite off my tongue. I'm serious; here I go. I'm going to do it. I'm really going to do it."

However, he did not do it.

At the same time, Bon Clay was charging a bunch of guards while carrying Astrid on his shoulders.

"He's coming!"

"Get out of my way!" he yelled. "I said moment, you fools!"

He then dealt some devastating ticks to the guards, knocking them down, and then he kept on running.

"If you don't wanna get hurt, move and let me through!" he yelled.

The guards, however, stood firm against him.

"Mr 2 is about to attack!"

"He's also carrying the War Maiden!"

"Then we can grab both of them."

"I'm not pulling your tail!" he said, spinning into the air. "You asked for it. Drunken Swan Soirée!"

He then crashed down on the guards, taking them all out instantly. He then didn't stop for an instant and kept on running with Astrid on his shoulders.

'There is no way we can beat Magellan. I'm not going to dream an impossible dream,' he said, and then he looked at Astrid. 'And I am not going to let you throw your life away. I am positive that Dragon Boy would not wish to see you dead, so I hope you will forgive me. We can't look back; we have to keep running. The only thing we can do now is run.'

Meanwhile, Hiccup was now facing against Magellan in his Beta Form, hoping the extra speed would help him in his fight.

Magellan looks furious as this was possibly the first time he had been injured, but Hiccup looked worn out. He's already been exposed to Magellan's poison, and Beta Mode ate away at his stamina.

"It would seem as if you have brought me to my knees, boy," said Magellan as he stood up. "Even a cornered rabbit will fight with teeth and claws, but it would seem as if my poison is starting to kick in. It is a slowly acting poison, and only now is it affecting your body. You're feeling the pain I know you are."

Hiccup merely rose to his feet and looked at him defiantly.

Magellan just looked annoyed. "Just give up already."

"Dragon Champion Fist!" Hiccup yelled.

He then moved with blinding speed and punched Magellan in the chest, but of course, that meant his hand got covered in poison. However, despite the pain that he was now receiving from the additional poison, Hiccup managed to shrug it off.

Magellan then began to breathe in. "Venom Blowfish!"

He then spat a ball of poison at Hiccup, but he moved too quickly and was able to avoid it. He kept on firing more poison balls at him, but none of them managed to land on Hiccup. Hiccup fired another plasma blast, which he was able to avoid an encounter with more poison balls, but even in midair, Hiccup managed to dodge them.

Hiccup then began to move straight towards him, and Magellan fired his poison balls in rapid succession. He was able to dodge them and then suddenly got behind him.

"Plasma…" Hiccup yelled.

"Hydra!" Magellan yelled, extending his hand.

Hydra's head then formed around it and began flying towards Hiccup.

"…Cannon!" Hiccup yelled, firing a plasma blast.

His attack completely broke up the hydra head, but it caused poison to drip all over his body, and he found himself unable to maintain his Beta Form.

Magellan's hand then returned to normal, and he began to heal the injuries Hiccup had inflicted on him earlier.

"Not even a scratch," Hiccup observed.

He then heard the sound awards sounded like gas and noticed the entire area was filled with poisonous gas, which was being exhaled from Magellan. He then heard something behind him and turned around to see a creature made of poisonous gas standing there behind him. The creature looks like a cloud of poisonous gas, only with long tentacles.

"Venom Cloud!" said Magellan.

Hiccup was now finding it hard to breathe as the creature began to extend its tentacles towards him. Hiccup transformed into his hybrid form and attempted to fight back, but his movements were sluggish, and it was like punching air.

"It's no use," said Magellan. "That poison fog is a part of me. It lives and breathes."

Hiccup began coughing rather heavily. He was finding it difficult to see straight, and the sound around him was getting distorted.

"Vision getting blurry?" Magellan asked with a small chuckle. "Are your ears ringing?"

Hiccup then quickly flew up into the air. "Wing Blast!"

He flapped his wings as hard as he could and blew away the poisonous gas, but he collapsed to the ground.

"I said it's no use," said Magellan as the gas began to return. "Why can't you see that?"

Hiccup then took a deep breath, and suddenly, his entire body screamed in pain.

"There is no escape; you have already been condemned," said Magellan. "Your hands become useless, haven't they? In time, my poison will take everything from you."

Everything then started to go black as Hiccup fell to the ground.

At the gate that led to the stairs that went up to Level III, Hannibal and his men were just about ready to transport Buggy and Mr 3.

"Okay, I'm about to do it," said Mr 3. "I'm going to bite my tongue off, and none of you can stop me."

He then stuck out his tongue, but he found that he couldn't bite down on it.

"I just can't do it!" he cried.

"Damnit, all!" Buggy cried.

Hannibal just shook his head. "Take them away."

"Sir!"

Hannibal sighed. "What a waste."

The guards then picked Buggy and Mr 3 up.

"Please, stop it!" Buggy begged. "Have mercy!"

"No fair!" Mr 3 cried. "Torture stinks."

"It stinks like ass!"

"Yeah, like that."

"Hold it right there, chumps!" said a voice.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked around for the source of the voice.

"Who was that?"

"I know that voice," said Mr 3, looking around. "He's here."

Bon Clay then jumped down from where he was watching, leaving Astrid behind, who was still unconscious and began to spin and then kicked the guards carrying Buggy and Mr 3.

"Hey, just who are you?"

Bon Clay then turned to face them.

"That guy?" Buggy stared.

"It's Mr 2," said Mr 3.

"That man is the other escapee!"

The guards then charged to apprehend him, but Bon Clay dealt a few devastating kicks, knocking them to the ground.

"I've had enough!" Hannibal roared and raised his trident.

The two of them then charged at one another, and Hannibal began swinging his spear. Bon Clay blocks the swings, and Hannibal began thrusting as fast as he can.

"Take this, this and this!" he yelled, thrusting at blinding speed.

Bon Clay began dancing around to avoid getting skewered, and it was impressive how fast he was able to keep up. Hannibal swung his spear, and Bon Clay jumped right over his head.

"I admit, you quick on your feet, but I think you'll find that I'm quite the assistant," said Hannibal as he turned to face him. The moment he did, his face turned bright pink. "What?"

Bon Clay transformed his appearance to Ruffnut and slowly raised his shirt, looking at him seductively. "Hey, big boy. Aren't you a cutie? What are you doing way over there?"

Hannibal suddenly became flustered.

Magellan began to approach Hiccup, who was still flat on the ground. He looked at him one last time before walking away, leaving him for dead.

However, he heard Hiccup groan and stopped as he tried to pick himself up.

"You just don't know when to give up," he said, facing him. "Rescuing your brother really means that much to you?"

Hiccup didn't answer as he was still fighting back against the pain from poison and then looked at him with a never give up attitude. He then rose to his feet and charged at him.

"The sooner you stop this nonsense, the sooner I end your suffering," said Magellan.

Hiccup then jumped into the air and transformed into his hybrid form. "Plasma Blast!"

Hiccup fired a Plasma Blast, but Magellan merely tilted his head in the attack missed as it lacked speed and aim. He grabbed hold of Hiccup's tail and slammed him into the ground.

Ace was still trapped in his cell and then looked at the jailer guarding his cell.

"Hey, jailer," he said. "Want to do a condemned man a favour? Tell me something happening on the upper levels?"

"No, not a thing," said the jailer.

Ace knew that was a lie, not that he expected anything less. Atali had no reason to lie, and Hiccup was crazy enough to try and rescue him from this hell hole.

Jinbe merely looked at him.

Meanwhile, Hiccup had just gotten back onto his feet and faced Magellan again.

"This is pointless… hopeless," said Magellan. "You have no right; your brother is a notorious criminal who will face his execution, and rightfully so. You are an intruder who has waged an open war on the World Government. You've wronged this world, and you must pay. The law demands Ace's death in Marineford, and so it shall have it. Do not mistake your misguided attempt at rescuing for justice."

"That's enough!" Hiccup roared and fired several Plasma Blasts, but every single one of them missed their mark.

Magellan just stood there as he kept firing non-stop, and he didn't even see the need to move a single muscle.

"This is sad to watch," he said.

Hiccup finally stopped and fell down onto one knee, panting heavily.

"Are you finally done?" Magellan asked.

He was then surprised as Hiccup got back up.

"Beta Mode!" Hiccup yelled as he transformed.

"Hydra!" said Magellan.

He then turned his entire body to poison and unleashed three hydra heads.

The two of them just stood there, eyeing each other for what seemed to be the final clash.

They then lost themselves to one another.

"I want my brother!" Hiccup roared.

He then dived into one of the hydra heads.

However, the class resulted in Hiccup becoming heavily poisoned, and Magellan looked down at him.

"Consider this your punishment, child," he said. "There is no way to neutralise the amount of poison your body has absorbed. You will suffer an agonising pain for 24 hours, and then you will die. This is true hell."

"Ace," said Hiccup weakly.
