Hiccup and the others had finally reached Level III, and the good news was that there was nothing in their way; the bad news was that Magellan wasn't too far behind them. Everyone was now running desperately towards the staircase leading to Level II.

Sadly, those who are struggling behind became victims of Magellan's poison. Of course, there was nothing anyone could do to save them.

"Keep running!" Bon Clay yelled. "Trust me, you don't want to look back."

"There shouldn't be anything in our way any more!" Astrid yelled.

Magellan was walking through the poison-covered prisoners as if he were taking a casual stroll around the park. However, there was nothing casual about the look on his face, which was filled with pure rage as he was determined to eliminate Hiccup if nothing else.

"You can't escape from me," he said.

Mala was now ushering everyone towards the staircase leading to Level II.

"Let's hurry!" she yelled.

"Move it! Magellan is right on our ass!"

"Keep going all the way up to Level II!"

Mala remains that the last of the prisoners made their way up the staircase.

"That was the last group; everyone else behind them is no longer standing," she said as she watched Magellan approach them. "They didn't make it."

Magellan glared at her with pure hatred, but Mala refused to retreat up the staircase.

"Throk!" she said.

"Ready to go, my queen," said Throk. "Great Scissors!"

His hands then turned into scissors, which began to extend until they were about 3 feet long. He then ran out of the staircase, slicing through the staircase as you ran, leaving Mala behind the content with Magellan.

Throk reached the top of the stairs, much of the confusion of one of the New Kama Land people.

"Throk?" he frowned. "Wait, why did you just cut the staircase? Mala hasn't come up yet."

"All you need to worry about is getting out of here," he said as he began cutting through the floor.

He wasn't about to argue and quickly ran off to catch up with the others.

Throk stopped briefly before he joined the sliced floor and was hesitant to complete the mission he had been given.

"My queen," he said.

Down on Level III, both Magellan and Mala were staring down at one another.

"I'll do as you said," he said.

Then, with a heavy heart, he cut through the floor, causing the entire staircase to collapse. Magellan was rather surprised by this move, especially considering that it meant that Mala could no longer escape.

The only thing remaining now was a giant gaping hole, and Throk began to collapse the entranceway to the hole by cutting through the remaining walls.

"This is suicide," said Magellan. "What are you hoping to accomplish?"

"Curious our way?" Mala smiled as she stood there stoically. "If you can't figure it out, you must be terribly slow. Or maybe you're just terribly stupid. Death Wink!"

She then fired a shockwave attack at Magellan, who blocked it with his hydra, causing poison to fly off in different directions. However, the head merely regenerated, and for good measure, Magellan created some extra heads.

"So, how many of those heads you've got to show me?" Mala asked, not looking concerned in the slightest.

"Even if you do buy yourself some time, Dragon and his little friend still have no means of escape," said Magellan.

"'Buy some time?'" Mala chuckled. "So you're already convinced that you can beat me, are you? Time for you to witness the Defender of the Wing fighting style."

She then took on a fighting stance, but Magellan just looked at her confused.

"What's the matter? You scared?" Mala smirked.

Meanwhile, the prisoners were running through Level II. However, despite the lack of guards, they still had to deal with the beasts that roamed the corridors, especially the manticores. Fortunately, since all of them came from lower levels, they were more than capable of dealing with them.

"Why hasn't Magellan caught up to us by now? He was practically on top of us a few moments ago?" said Hiccup.

"I'm sure it's no coincidence that Mala and Throk stopped at the lower level," said Bon Clay.

"Wait, you mean to say they stayed behind to fight against the warden themselves?" Astrid asked as she swung her battleaxe at a manticore.

"We need to go back for them," said Hiccup.

"They do not call Mala the Miracle Worker for nothing," said Bon Clay. "If she thinks she can handle the big boss, be grateful and keep moving."

Astrid could tell that Hiccup was rather hesitant; he never liked leaving people behind, especially friends.

"Hiccup, we just have to put our faith in her," she said.

Hiccup reluctantly nodded and carried on down the corridor.

"There's something fishy going on," Viggo frowned. "We're getting through here way too easily."

"Indeed, I was thinking the same thing," Jinbe nodded, taking note of the empty cells. "Also, I don't see any prisoners in the cells, and all the doors are wide open. Someone must have come through and released them, but why?"

Buggy was currently on Level I and was now releasing all the prisoners there.

"Move it, boys; freedom is waiting for you," he smiled.

"Thanks, Captain Buggy!"

"Yes, I can't believe it!"

"I'm out!"

"Grab your weapon and do your part!" Buggy commanded.

Mr 3 was handing the prisoners swords, rifles and pipes to use as weapons against the remaining guards.

"Quick! Open fire!"

The guards fired their rifles at the prisoners, but there were so few of them they couldn't handle the number of escape prisoners, and now that they were armed, it was practically impossible.

Buggy laughed. "Let's go! To the top!"

Down on Level IV, Sadie had finally been freed and was now wincing in pain as she rubbed the back of her spine.

"My spine," she moaned, "it hurts so much. Damn you, Mala."

Mala had used her strength to throw in a hold and slammed her powerful shoulders into her back.

"Unforgivable," said Sadie furiously.

She then got back up and faced the Demon Guards, who were still out cold and promptly whipped them into shape.

"Get up!" she snapped as she cracked her whip. "Move! After them!"

The Demon Guards only awoke and got back up.

"Hurry, or I'm going to beat it out of you!" she yelled.

The Demon Guard immediately made their way to the left and began making their way up to Level I.

Hiccup and his group were proceeding to Level I virtually unopposed. However, they still had the problem of getting out of the prison.

"Lucky for us, Impel Down is surrounded by Navy ships and prison ships," said Jinbe. "If we can somehow manage to steal one of them, we can use it to get to Marineford before Ace's execution."

"And then we can join up with my Dad and try to rescue him," said Hiccup.

"Sounds good to me," said Astrid.

"Hold on, Ace, we're coming for you," said Hiccup.

Meanwhile, down on Level III, Mala got hit by Magellan's poison right in the face and cried out in pain.

"Oh, the pain!" she yelled. "It feels like my face is being melted off. The pain is undescribed of all!"

Mala then removed a face mask, revealing that she was perfectly fine.

"Then again, perhaps not," she smiled. "My make-up managed to protect me."

Magellan just stood there in silence.

"Boy, you really are as cold as they say," said Mala.

Magellan responded by attacking her with one of his hydras, but Mala suddenly somersaulted into the air. He tried to attack again, but she was moving so nimble that none of his attacks reached her.

"Death Wink!" she yelled.

She fired several shockwave blasts directly at him, but he quickly used his hydra heads to block the attack.

"Death Wink!" Mala yelled as she kept on attacking.

Magellan began to chew poison like bubblegum, and Mala kept relentlessly unleashing her Death Wink on him.

"Venom Blowfish!" he said.

He then spat out a poison bubble, aiming directly at her, but she was able to lean back and avoid getting hit.

"Nice try, Magellan, but you're going have to do better than at," said Mala with a smirk.

"You're only delaying the inevitable," said Magellan. "You have nothing to gain with stalling for time."

"You think so?" Mala smiled. "But fine, have it your way. You want to end this, then how about right now?"

Mala then took up a fighting stance, and Ben began to race towards him in what appeared to be a suicide attack.

Throk was still standing on the staircase that led to Level III, waiting for someone. However, he wasn't sure whether it would be Mala or Magellan.

Then, suddenly began to move within the rubble.

"She is still alive," Throk smiled hopefully.

However, his hope was quickly dashed as Magellan's hydra shot out of the rubble. Inside the hydra's neck, Throk could see a massive shadowy figure inside, and you instantly knew that it was Magellan.

"Venom Road!" said Magellan.

He then stepped out with some blood running down the left side of his face.

'My queen,' said Throk, knowing what this meant.

In an utter rage, he quickly sliced the floor and sent the rubble flying straight at Magellan, which slammed into him.

"You're trying to stall me too," said Magellan as he pushed the rubble aside.

On Level I, Buggy was now running for his life with tears in his eyes.

"They're here!" he cried.

He, of course, was referencing the Demon Guards, who had finally reached Level I and were now dealing with the rioters by themselves.

"The four Demon Guards all at once!" Buggy panicked. "We're screwed!"

Everyone was now running away from the Demon Guards advancing towards them.

"Run!" Buggy yelled. "It's all over! Go back to your cells! Don't fight them! The whole escape thing is cancelled, okay!"

"What?!" the prisoners yelled.

Buggy suddenly slammed into someone so hard he fell to the floor on his backside.

"Come on," said Mr 3, helping him up. "Let's pull it together."

"Bastard!" Buggy yelled, yelling at the man he had run into. "What are you trying to—" He stopped when he realised that he was yelling at Viggo. "Holy crap!"

"B-b-b-boss!" Mr 3 started.

Viggo looked down at him. "Oh, it's been a while, Mr 3. I see that you're whimpering, imbecile, just like before."

'Who in their right mind would release this pain in the butt?' Mr 3 asked.

"C-Captain Buggy," said one of the prisoners. "Look! Those guys not at all four Demon Guards!"

"What?!" Buggy and Mr 3 yelled in unison.

When they turned around, they saw that the Demon guards had been taken down, and Hiccup, Astrid, and Jinbe were standing over them.

"D-D-Dragon!" Buggy gaped.

"It's the War Maiden as well and their standing with the Warlord Jinbe!" Mr 3 cried.

"Ah," said Hiccup, noticing them. "I was wondering what happened to the two of you?"

Astrid looked at them darkly. "Yes, it's nice of you to leave us high and dry down on Level V."

"I-I thought he was dead!" Buggy stared.

"Same here," said Mr 3.

"Captain Buggy, look!" said a prisoner, pointing to the staircase leading to Level II. "There are a bunch of released prisoners and weirdos that are coming up one after another from Level II!"

"Weirdos, too?" Buggy stared openmouthed. "What the hell?"

"Who are you calling a weirdo!" Bon Clay yelled as he spun towards them.

He then began to slap them across the face with some spinning roundhouse kicks.

"This is what you two goons get for walking out on us back there!" Bon Clay yelled.

"What are you doing to Captain Buggy!" the prisoners cried furiously.

The remaining guards were now horrified by what they were seeing.

"This is bad," said a guard. "Those prisoners are from Level IV, and they've made it all the way up here."

"How did they get away from Warden Magellan? Damnit, two riots happened at the same time under our watch!"

"Where's the warden now?"

"Hydra!" a voice behind them yelled.

Everyone immediately turned around and were horrified to see Magellan had just reached Level I and had just unleashed his Hydra heads.

Instantly, all the prisoners immediately ran away.

"Magellan's here too!" Buggy cried. "What is happening on this floor?"

"Something bad must have happened to Mala and Throk," said Hiccup.

Both Mala and Throk were currently lying on the ground, covered in poison that had been administered by Magellan.
